Tobias Edwards BOT 3/29/2024 2:18β€―PM
Tobias couldn't remember the last time he'd been in a vampire's care for over a month, nore when he had something that came close to freedom. The truth was, despite that a human who would never be fully free, Silas had indeed made his stay a comfortable one to the most aspects. Every since that evening and their time in the garden after, something between the Two had changed. Silas had changed. It was as if there was something holding the vampire back. Although Tobias was quite satisfied and happy that his privacy was acknowledged and respected, he'd found himself getting used to Silas doing what he needed to survive. Something about this moment when those teeth sunk into his neck, when for a second, all the weights of his past seemed to lift, something felt odd between the two. As if Silas had been treating him like a fragile glass sculpture, careful not to be broken. Despite things staying unspoken between the Two, Tobias had grown a lot more fond of the vampires company. The thought at how the Two had grown to live together in this giant mansion brought a small hint of a grin to the humans face as he turned to the next page of his book. The evening light shone through the wide open windows into the library, dunking the place into an almost magical atmosphere. A place to truly find peace. Lounged in one of the comfy chairs, Tobias focused his thoughts to return to "Moby Dick", the giant white whale that haunted the stormy seas of the world hidden between in the pages of his book that truly made him loose all sense of time. @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Silence. In the last month, Silas had grown accustom to silence. It wasn't the sickening silence that he had hated in the months prior to meeting Tobias, but the kind of silence that came with a sort of peace. He found himself comfortable with the silence within the house, though the silence between them weighed heavy on his mind. At night he still could feel the boy shuddering against him, the way he gasped and pulled away from him, the way that he froze. It brought his stomach to flips and tied knots in his throat. Since, he had tread differently with the boy, fearful that if he stepped too close he would disturb his peace. There was a sort of companionship between them though. One that Silas had longed for. One that he wanted to cherish. Even if it wasn't perfect. Straightening his shirt, Silas peered into the mirror with a frown. Silas was due to have a meeting with his father and his sister. One that he found himself uneasy about. If it were Silas's choice, he wouldn't ever expose the boy to such people. Not those like his father and those underneath him. After all, their family had grown large since he had turned him and those underneath him weren't the most enjoyable of taste. He sighed and sat down, putting his head and in hands, groaning frustratedly. He couldn't think of a way to get out of this. There was no excuse that his father wouldn't question and after the scene the pair of them had made at the gala, he owed him this. Taking a deep breath, Silas straightened and pushed out of the seat, walking towards the door. He hadn't seen Tobias since the morning. He knew where he'd be. He was always there around this time of day. Opening the door to the library, Silas relaxed as he saw the boy curled in one of the chairs with a book crooked into his arms. He smiled and walked over towards him, simply taking a seat in the chair next to him. "You've been reading for hours." He noted softly, "Have you eaten?" He asked, his emerald eyes lingering on him.

With his attention being completely drawn in by his book as they usually did, Tobias did not notice the large doors open at first, nore did he hear Silas approaching. Still as the vampire sat down, he still did not look up for a few more seconds. The captain was aiming once again to fire his deadly harpoon, his target the white scarred skin of the creature that had lived already for centuries within the depths of the ocean. A thrilling tale. "Can you blame me? There are still so many books waiting to be read." Tobias finally looked over to Silas, giving him a small smile. He know he'd spend almost his entire day here like he always did and Tobias didn't mind. Despite from Silas, they kept him company. "Not yet." He admitted, looking back down at his book to hold his finger between the pages to not loose his current one. "It's fine. I can do it myself. Need to learn and get better afterall." Tobias gave the vampire a small grin accompanied by a small chuckle, thinking back at how he had cut the banana the first time they'd cooked together. However, the man was quick to grow serious again, remembering the dark times the vampire had gone through for Tobias' own sake. "What about you?" Blue eyes bore themselves into Silas, knowing very well that despite their regular schedule they had introduced, the vampire had not fed yet. @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

A smile curled along his face as he listened to the boy, his gaze softening. Tonight, Silas had a lot to worry about. A lot weighed on his mind. And he was well aware that his father would have something to say about his choices in the recent months. Yet in that moment, Silas wished he couldn't simply slip away with Tobias and simply hide in the comfort of the study. That they could sink into a book and find their escape together. "I can't." He said softly, "But you'll have plenty of time to read them, I promise." He noted. Silas still hadn't read all of the books in the study, though he was relatively close. "I'll help then..." He smiled, standing up and walking to Tobias's side, offering his hand gently. His gaze was gentle, much gentler than it was even before. Like he was afraid of breaking the boy, for if he wasn't gentle enough he would crack him like glass. He softened and waited, his gaze holding towards him. "What kind of food would you like today? I'll teach you another recipe." He smiled, "Something sweet? Or something savory?" As the question shifted back towards him, Silas paused and shook his head. "I... I'm not very hungry tonight." He frowned, the smile fading quickly as he stood up and straightened. Silas was dressed nice. It was enough to give away that something was going on. He wore dark slacks with a white button up polo. His hair was done nicely, slicked back with mousse so that it didn't fall in his face. He sighed, "My father is coming tonight... you can stay in the study if you like..." He explained softly, crossing his arms. "He... He isn't a good man." He noted, gaze held away from Tobias as if he was afraid he would be disappointed in him. Tobias smiled at Silas offer, putting his bookmark between the pages before laying it on the small table. "Something savory would be nice." He took the hand the vampire offered him, but frowned at how the man avoided the topic of feeding as usual. "Then just take a little bit. To keep you on your legs for now." He tried to reason with the Undead like a child who refused to eat his vegetables. How ironic that it has gotten to the point now that he urged a vampire to take his blood. Only now with closer inspection Tobias noticed how Silas was dressed. It was a lot finer than usual. "You going out or something?" Tobias raised an eyebrow, wondering why Silas had not gotten him to get ready as well. Despite both of them disliking the fact that a vampires did not go out without his mortal pet, Tobias had gotten a bit more used to that little act they put on in public despite how deeply he hated every single of these occasions. Tobias' gaze slowly darkened as Silas explained the reason for his fine look. His father, without a doubt one of the ancient ones. Something about the thought that such a creature would spend the evening in Silas mansion made his skin crawl. "Is it because of me?" Tobias looked at him with furrowed eyebrows, thinking back about the occurrences at the ball last month. The toast with the twins, the thing that happened after. Of course those things would have consequences. He had almost forgotten about them with all the peace finally surrounding him. Of course nothing could last forever... @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Savory. Silas nodded softly, a soft breath pushing through his nose. He was stressed and it showed. His jaw was clenched tightly and even though he was feigning at being okay, his body seemed stiff, as if it were being pulled taught by various strings that strung it up. Then just take a little bit. Silas smiled weakly, "Tobias, you need not worry about me." He offered his hand, hoping to help him up. He could see the cogs working in the boy's head, as if he was figuring out what was going on. He had began to get him used to their little act. And yet that didn't make it any more savory. "I will have some later. My...father is sure to have plenty." None would be like his. Yet Silas knew that he would be forced to drink later, whether he liked it or not. That was his father's thing after all. He took ritualistic pleasure in it. Enjoyed the way that he could force his children to bend to his will. He frowned and looked at the boy, taking a seat on the chair and sighing. It was complicated. Even to this day, he dreaded seeing his father. Seeing the man who had brought him in and raised him as his own. Is this because of me? Silas shook his head and raked his hands through his hair, ruining it's clean form. "No... not entirely." He mumbled, sighing and rolling his shoulders back before sitting up once more. He gently bent forwards and took Tobias's hand. "I'm sure you know this... but my last name... it's not inherited by the man that people call my father, right?" He explained in a soft tone, green eyes dancing in the dim lighting. "Dimitri Griffin was my father's name. My real father." He frowned, "He died when I was a child by the hand of the man I am calling my father today." His jaw tightened once more, his gaze hardening. "My sister and I, Aria, who you met, were taken in by him as children." He seemed to speak carefully, as if he worried about someone hearing. "He is a cruel man... He... Seeing the nervousness in Silas composure made Tobias worry with him. He'd only seen him that nervous back then at the ball. Was his father truly that scary? Listening to the way Silas described him and his way of treating humans caused something to twist inside Tobias' stomach. A cruel maker, the worst of kind to be around and to have as a master. At the same time, he now understood what made Silas even more anxious. Refusing to bring his blood bag along to such an important meeting, to his own cruel maker. It was almost scandalous. Silas was taking all this pressure onto himself to protect him... "Will you... be okay?" Tobias asked almost sheepishly after a moment of silence. It didn't feel right to ask anymore about who exactly the vampire's maker was, nore did he care. Still, Silas protected him and that was what filled Tobias' heart with an odd feeling of warmth, safety even. @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Will you be okay? The boy's voice was gentle and shy. It was worrisome. It filled him with love and anxiety at the same time. Would he be able to protect him? A knot tightened in his throat, making it hard to speak. Would he be okay? It was hard to say. Physically, perhaps. Mentally, that was up for debate. His father was a manipulative man. It had taken him several decades to break free from his manipulation. Several decades in which his reputation had grown into the one that almost ruined his relationship with the boy in front of him. Silas paused and nodded, smiling weakly, "You need not worry about me." He reassured, gently offering his hand. "Come on. Let's go eat." Silas had spent his youth training under Caius, one of the more well known elder vampires. A vampire strong enough to strike fear in the hearts of even vampires. He was a cruel and calculated vampire, one who didn't pull his punches. Silas knew that he had been living in a way that directly opposed Caius's beliefs. He would know. Especially after the stunt that they had pulled at the ball. He knew not who would have told him, news travelled quickly when it came to Caius. He had many children and very few who directly opposed him. Even Aria took more kindly to his training than he did. Letting out a sigh, Silas would lead the boy from the study and down through the halls. "Tonight... when I return... would you mind if we... spent some time together?" His eyes fell down, almost unsure of himself. It was strange to see the vampire like that. He looked lonely, even when they spent more time together. Like he longed for more. "I don't want to be alone tonight..." He looked away, fearful that showing him weakness would be looked down upon. Tobias was kind but there was something about showing weakness that made his stomach twist. After all, those of vampiric blood were not to be seen as weak. @MJ Miracle <<||°_°||>>

Silas was afraid. The momentary silence between them said it all. Despite his worries for the vampire, something about Silas' situation was something that reminded him of himself. It reminded him of his own journey, his torture. The fear to face those monsters after a calm night of rest if that was even possible. But mostly it was that feel of freedom and choice being robbed over and over again. Being lost in thought for a moment himself, Tobias took Silas' hand, following him out of the library down towards the kitchen still with worries written all over his face. I don't want to be alone tonight... Worry shifted into wonder. Tobias only stared at the vampire for a moment in silence. Seeing him avoiding his gaze while opening up to reveal possibly one of his greatest weaknesses was something quite unusual. But to Tobias, it was not a weakness at all. It was a sign of strength and trust that the human deep down had longed for but never had the chance to fully experience. "I will stay for as long as you like me to, okay?" He gave Silas a calm smile, still holding onto the vampires hand before subconsciously giving it a small reassuring squeeze. Silas was not alone. Tobias would make sure of that. @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Vulnerability. It had been years since he had last allowed one to see it. Decades even. His father had beaten it out of him. Literally. He swallowed and pushed the thoughts away. After all, vampires were not raised in warmth. They were raised in the warped minds of those who twisted fate, those who commanded over all which they handled. Showing weakness was looked down upon, especially upon vampires. Silas's gaze tore away from the boy. Would he look down on him? He knew he wouldn't. Tobias wasn't like that, after all. His shoulders seemed to relax as he heard the boy's voice return his answer. I will stay for as long as you like me to, okay? Silas smiled weakly and nodded, squeezing his hand back in return. "Okay... let's go make you something to eat... and then I'll be on my way. Cooking seemed to move by in a blur. Silas couldn't focus. Despite his love for cooking, he couldn't help but zone out, his mind elsewhere. As if he were practicing the script of an unknown play, he ran his mind through scenarios that he may face in the might of Caius. Finally, he made his way to the door, a car waiting outside. He gently slid his shoes and turned on his foot to face Tobias. "Be safe." he whispered, wrapping his arms around him, "Do not open the door under any circumstance... okay?" His eyes hardened as he nodded, hoping to ensure full safety of Tobias. He wouldn't be here to protect him, and something about that utterly worried him. @MJ Miracle <<||°_°||>>

Seeing the vampire's body relax after Tobias' calm reassuring words somehow felt like a relief for the human itself. After giving a small nod of approval with a soft smile, the boy let himself be led further down the stairs into the kitchen. But despite his words from before, the vampire was obviously elsewhere with his thoughts as they prepared the food together. Within the about two months that had passed, Tobias himself had grown quite fond of their shared activities. Still, seeing Silas in such a way was quite rare. Hell, he'd never seen any of his previous masters in such a way. After everything was done and cleaned, Tobias accompanied the vampire to the entrance door, watching him prepare for the supposed terror that was about to ensue. Feeling those arms gently wrap around his hips felt, odd. It was in no way a bad feeling. In fact, they were those little touches that still could make the fiesty human blush. "I'll be fine, trust me." Tobias gave him a small smile, his own arms subconsciously wrapping around the vampire's hips in return. "Be safe too, okay?" The boy only let go hesitantly, his cheeks reddening once again at the fact that he had held onto Silas like that. His small smile remained as he waved the car until it left through the gates of the mansion. Only then he lowered his hand slowly, his expression filled with worry. He could only hope that Silas would be okay... @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Separation. Silas rarely had left the boy's side that month, and something anxiety inducing wrapped around his heart as he neared the door. He worried. He swallowed and looked down, hugging the boy ever so slightly tighter. He didn't want to let go. I'll be fine, trust me. He frowned and nodded, her gaze falling as he stood up straight, nodding. "Yes... of course." He nodded, turning on his foot promptly. He knew that the human would be okay. His mansion had tight security. "Don't go outside, okay?" He added as he stopped in the doorway, the night breeze pushing through. Without confirmation, Silas pushed through the door and walked towards the car that awaited outside. He slid into the car without looking back, knowing that it would only make him want to stay longer. The drive was long. Or at least it felt that way. After all, Caius didn't actually live that far away from him. Though his mansion was far more impressive. As they pulled up on the luxurious mansion, Silas stiffened, his body feeling as if it were pulled by a puppeteer's strings. He swallowed and nodded, thanking the driver before sliding out of the car. He walked up towards the front door with a slow grace, as if his movements were cutting through the invisible strings that held him up. His posture tightened, holding more meticulous of an energy as the door was opened for him. His gaze flickered to the maid who had opened the door for him. Another new one. He narrowed his eyes coldly at her and pushed past, not saying a word. He was not to acknowledge that of which was worthless. Or at least that was what his father had taught him. Wordlessly, Silas walked through the mansion towards Caius's dining room, straightening his tie before making eye contact with the vampire. "Father." He acknowledged the man, "How are you? It's been far too long." He knew well not to spare the trivalties. After all, it was his father who had taught him such politeness. It would be improper to do without the small

The ancient one stood by the large window, his back turned towards the large wodden doors as his gaze wandered into the courtyard below. The red roses were blooming beautifully as always around this time of year. As usual, Caius was well dressed for the occasion and status. Paired with a black shirt underneath a fine embroidery red vest and some slick high waist black pants, the vampire looked absolutely stunning. Waves of liquid gold flowed loosely over his shoulders, framing his pale sharp contoured face to perfection as he looked over his shoulder to look at his offspring. "Silas." His voice was rich and soft like smooth velvet. "It has been indeed." Caius replied with a small smile, knowing very well what hatred and feelings his offspring felt towards his maker. "Please. Take a seat." The vampire gestured towards the neatly set table, enough space for 8 people, not waiting too long to take his own at the head of it. Of course, one of the servants pulled his chair back for him to sit, so would another do for Silas. "I see you have come on your own today." Dark ruby eyes fixed onto the other's as the vampire rested his head in his hand on the side of his seat. The two rings on his fingers, especially the large ruby reflected the light of the nearby window well, the same shade as the Immortal's eyes. "Is your new pet feeling not well?" Red Roses. Symbolic of love. Passion. And yet so dangerous. Vampires were partial to the flower. Their color didn't stain when blood was spilt. He still remembered the first time that Caius had pointed out such a thing to him. How he had brought him into the garden and pricked his finger on the sharp thorn and held it up to the petals of the flower, allowing his blood to spill on the flower. He had teased him with the idea that all roses were once white and had simply been covered in the blood of those weaker than them. It had sent chills up his spine. Silas. The voice made his body tense, his gaze focusing forwards as he stepped smoothly towards the table, taking a deep breath. "Of course, father." His voice was cool and smooth, his eyes steeled as he stepped towards the servant, only acknowledging them in gaze before taking his seat, his posture stiff and proper. He would not relax. Would not let his guard down. Not around Caius. Caius was not a man that one relaxed around. Not if you were smart. I see you have come on your own today. Something sunk in his stomach. Perhaps he should have taken Tobias's offer. He frowned and lifted his hand to rake through his hair, gaze shifting over to his father. "He was not feeling well." He noted, "Perhaps I drained him too dry." His words were simple and cold, drawing a line. He may not have had the strength to directly protect Tobias if he were there, but he had enough mental fortitude to protect him verbally. "Is that a problem, father?" He asked, lifting the glass in front of him to his lips. "I simply would rather his health remain up to par... he tastes much sweeter when he has rested up." @MJ Miracle <<||°_°||>>

As always, Silas was on his best behavior around his maker. A picture of elegance and power with eyes as cold and sharp as ice, just as Caius had taught him. Despite how well Silas wore that stone mask of his, nothing escaped the eyes of the ancient vampire, not even the cracks that formed only for a millisecond. Seeing how Silas quickly regained his posture to give his maker that perfect answer somehow made Caius chuckle softly. "Not at all." He replied with a small amused smile. Silas had always been a terrible liar. Caius had raised him that way. Despite the boy being able to fool others, nothing stayed hidden from the eyes that maker. "In fact, I am glad to hear that your appetite has been recovering." As Caius spoke and raised his hand, a young servant approached from the side. Without another word, the man pulled the sleeve on his arm back befor offering it to his master. Without taking his eyes off his offspring, Caius took the exposed wrist. "It would be a shame if you starved yourself for the sake of a human's wellbeing afterall." The servant tried his best to hold back a small wince as the vampire slowly pierced his skin with the sharp nail of his thumb. Only now did Caius eyes avert from Silas to focus on the nearby beautiful crystal chalice. "One might think you have grown attached to your current one." Caius noted with a calm tone as he lifted the chalice up to collect those delicate crimson drops.
1:43β€―PM
Once the chalice was filled the servant pulled his arm away, bowing to his master before stepping aside again. "What's it name again?" Crimson eyes wandered back to Silas as Caius lifted his own chalice to his lips, savoring the sweet smell of the blood for a moment before putting the cup to his lips. He was not unfamiliar to the events at the Everdusk Ball. Two of his most familiar sources had given him quite the insight on Silas behavior with his human around. Words sharpened like the tips of arrows. Meant to wound. They flew through the air faster than the bow had released, Silas's gaze falling as his father toyed with him. He was still nothing more than a boy in the man's eyes. He knew as much. In his eyes, he was still the disconnected boy that had been yanked from his dead parent's grip. In his eyes, he was still as easy to manipulate. I am glad to hear that your appetite has been recovering. A knot curled in his throat and tightened, eyes remaining locked as he watched the young man reveal his arm towards Caius. His teeth ached. His jaw clenched. It would be a shame if you starved yourself for the sake of a human's wellbeing after all. Silas nearly shuddered. His gaze flickered towards the human and then back towards Caius, emerald eyes growing once more, steeled. "Of course not... That would be unbecoming of my rank. Perhaps a vampire of lower status might fall victim to such... idiocy but you know that I would never. After all, it's the... natural order, is it not?" His words were cold and calculated, as he slowly spoke. There was a way of combatting Caius, and while this was one of them, this was not the most effective. Just one that he had to acknowledge. One might think you have grown attached to your current one. Silas's grip clenched on his chair, eyes flickering with temporary rage. "He simply befits my tastes. Fiesty. And yet... pliable." He noted, "I enjoy a challenge. Surely, you know that, Father." His eyes narrowed, as if challenging him, and he probably would have if Aria hadn't burst through the doors, grinning. "Oh Silas, dear brother! I have missed you so much since I last saw you!" She ran over and wrapped her arms around him, her lips curled into a welcoming smile. Silas has always been an odd child. Caius remembered it only too well. The tears that streamed down the young boys with blood smeared face as he held the body of the dead bunny clutched to his small chest. It was the first prey Caius had given them to hunt on their own when they were younger. A cruel lesson to learn, but a necessary one. It was still a mild one, compared to what they all had to face within their undead existence. Silas chose his words wisely in the presence of his maker, trying to meet all of Caius expectations to show that he had indeed learned his lesson. "Of course." Caius replied with a small smile, not having taken his crimson eyes off his offspring until Aria burst into the room. Watching her act so cheerfully with her brother, hugging him tightly almost brought a sense of amusement to the Ancient one. Aria had always been so much more cheerful and accepting towards her new nature, much more easier to adapt and kill without remorse. "Welcome Aria. It has been indeed." Caius gave his offspring something that was most comparable to a warm smile. Now there was only one missing... "This is what you call a family? Seriously?" A voice blurted through the room as the door once again flew open to reveal no other then Gabriel entering the room. He also was a vampire, given away by his liquid golden, locks, sharp features and pale skin which were only set into scene by a luscious red and golden coat. "It's what I would call a disaster if you ask me." The vampire scoffed and rolled his eyes as he entered the room, the sound of his heels filling the silence as three human servants followed behind. All of them were young men with empty eyed stare, dressed like servants during the Renaissance.
12:32β€―PM
They were but mere puppets to dress up, mindless servants as Gabriel prefered them that way. The vampire itself looked like he was part of that time, an aristocrat from the way he moved, spoke and acted. "Just on time, Gabriel." Caius noted, watching his old friend and one of his oldest offsprings enter the room. Nowadays with vampire's being in charge of the world, Gabriel had made use of his talents he had already been gifted as a mortal, running several theater, opera houses and all other sorts of places for traditional sought after. "I am always on time. You know how I like to make my entrance Caius." Gabriel stated with a cocky whip of his hair as he approached the table. Quickly his deep blue eyes flicked over to the other two guests, seemingly only now acknowledging their existence. "Aria my love!" The vampire exclaimed with a suddenly cheerful smile as he came up to the girl with arms spread for a greeting. "Your dress looks stunning as always." He pursed his lips in a devious smile as he leaned forward to give her a small kiss near each cheek before pulling away and noticing that Aria was not the only one there. "Silas." Immediately Gabriel's expression changed as he looked at Silas, suddenly not as happy anymore to see them with the side of his lip pulled up in a small sneer before turning around on his heal to head to his seat. "Let's get this over with quickly now. I'm having a meeting with one of my sellers after." This is what you call a family? Seriously? The voice put a bad taste in his mouth. Gabriel. The eldest of Caius's so called children. Also the least pleasurable to be around. Or at least in Silas's opinion. Gabriel was simply put: a pompous bastard. Golden locks, pale skin, fancy clothes. While he had been born in another era, he had chosen to never lead that era. He was a particularly nasty man, one who Silas made his utmost goal to avoid. It's what I would call a disaster if you ask me. On that, Silas agreed. Aria on the other hand, did not. As he scoffed and rolled his eyes, Aria pouted. She well knew that Silas and Gabriel did not consider this to be a family, but she had always quite liked how Caius called it such. She had hardly known the family that Silas longed for and had well been brought up around the vampiric family raised by Caius. This was the only family that she had ever known, it was the family she loved, even if it had it's problems. As Gabriel spread his arms for a greeting, her cheeks puffed out, "We are a family... are we not?" She asked, almost in a childlike nature. She stepped forwards and hugged him, similarly planting a kiss near each cheek. After pulling away, her gaze flicked over to Silas, dark brown eyes lifting to him. "Please...?" Silas sighed, nodding. He couldn't say no to her. Even if the pair of them had their differences, he well remembered the fact that they were brother and sister. By blood. He remembered the days when she used to toddle around mother, when she used to follow him around for ages, when she was human. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, his gaze flicking over to the blonde, sneering slightly as their gazes met. "Father...." Aria pouted. "How many years will it take for the pair of them to get along?" Letting out a huff, she took a seat, crossing her arms over her chest. Another sigh pushed through Silas's lips, his gaze dragging towards the clock. Time would not move faster. For n

The distaste Silas harvested towards Gabriel was obvious. The blonde vampire proceeded to ignore the others distant glance, only glaring back before giving Aria a sweet smile. "Of course we are! Who wouldn't want to be part of such powerful bonds formed through our blood." Gabriel's words were sweet along with his smile, exactly what Aria wanted to hear, exactly what it took to spoil her in her believes before taking his seat across from them at the table near Caius. "Time can form unbreakable bonds my dear." Caius spoke after everyone had taken his seat with a soft smile to his daughter. "Whether it be those forged through companionship or loathing, fate finds most peculiar ways to bind us together within eternity." Gabriel scoffed at those words, snapping for one of the Male servants to step forward and offering the others arm. Silently and without any emotions the man took the sharp end of a claw like ring on his thumb to pierce his own skin for the blood to fill another chalice before Gabriel dismissed him with another small wave. "Now that we have all gathered here, let us begin..." Caius raised his glass towards the others for a small toast, his Ruby ring shimmering like the crimson liquid in his glass before taking another sip... "I am sure you all are familiar with the reason why I called in this meeting." The aristocrats annoyed demeanor immediate seemed to lighten as Gabriel was probably the most excited one of them all about the approaching the special event. The Sanguine Masquerade was a ball hosted by Caius himself in his biggest residency, an exclusive event with the elite of the strongest vampire's gathering for an evening of discussing sophisticated political affairs while indulging in the most delicate crimson the humans had to offer. A play of fools and power to determine who should rule alongside their savior as one of the Arcana Majore,

The Sanguine Masquerade. It wouldn't be his first time in attendence. Nor would it be the last. Unlike the earlier balls that the pair had attended, the Sanguine Masquerade only was held when there was most important discussion to be held. Hosted by Caius, the highest of the Arcana Majore, the ball was attended by only the strongest and most elite vampires within society. It would be a blood bath. Moreso even than the previous ball. There would be blood. There would be fountains of it, truly. And most certainly, there would be a few deaths. The talks made his stomach sick. He remembered the last time he had attended so vividly that he could almost taste it. It sent chills climbing his spine. He held back the urge to shudder and said his goodbyes, standing before being tackled by Aria. She had always been overly affectionate. So much so that it had been her downfall in becoming part of the Arcana Majore. Had she been more serious she would have been considered, and yet, her fun loving personality made her an unideal candidate despite being kin of their highest councilmen. Silas too had been an ideal candidate. It was the one thing in which he had denied Caius of. He was sure that Caius still resented the fact in which he had denied him. Very few denied him of such. Fewer would turn down the chance to be a part of the most elite vampires to exist. Power. Silas knew that was what this was about. It was a power move. Caius wanted to remind Silas that he was making his power lesser simply by interacting so pleasantly with a human. Silas knew that much. He didn't like the fact that he still held onto his humanity, that he longed for it even. That he found something in a human that he would never find in a vampire. He refused to take a vampiric partner. And that would not change. Relinquished from the party, he found himself rushing out to the car faster than he had entered. His hand reached out before either of their bodies was shaken by the second impact. The other vampires grip tightened around the others waist as his body almost seemed to levitate for a moment too long for a regular human to hold without falling over. "Careful Silas." Valentino gave the other gave a small smile before helping Silas back onto his feet properly. His golden almost yellow eyes didn't leave the other for a second. As usual, the other vampir wore a fine grey suit, his black hair sitting perfectly besides a few disheveled strands. His rank amongst the Arcana was known as the "Magician", a position that required close cooperation and great trust which Caius had lots for him. It was almost like he was the son the ancient one never had. Nontheless, Valentino had witnessed Silas vampiric upbringing from the moment he had been made. Else he would've addressed him more formally, but those were unnecessary. The two knew each other only too well. "You seem concerned. Is everything alright?" Disheveled. Silas felt... disheveled at the very least. Caius had a way of unwinding him, of tangling everything within him and putting them at conflict with another. Of making him question himself. He had hardly noticed how fast he had been moving to escape the mansion when he crashed into the other vampire, his eyes widening as the other vampire's hands wrapped around him, his hand wrapping around his waist so that he didn't fall. He blinked, emerald eyes widened as he stared up at Valentino Rivette, a trusted liason of Caius's. Careful Silas. His cheeks shifted in color at the smile and warning, gaze shifting away. He steadied himself and fixed his suit, running a hand through his hair. He had looked nice earlier, but now his gel seemed to allow his hair to fall loose, a few strands falling into his eyes. He looked what he felt, disheveled, confused, and quite honestly stressed. While he wouldn't have allowed Caius to see it, he had thought himself safe now that he was out of sight. He had forgotten the possibility of others being around. "Sorry..." he frowned, shaking his head, "I did not mean to crash into you... Quite frankly, I didn't hear you coming." He noted, dusting off his suit before taking a deep breath. Valentino had always been around. He was one of the first vampires that Silas was introduced to after being taken in by Caius. He had always been friendly. Warmer than Caius. There had been a time when Silas had wished he had been turned by him and not Caius. When he was younger. When his resentment for the vampire still was young and boiled over at the mere thought of the memory. You seem concerned. Is everything alright? Valentino had always had more empathy than Caius. He had assumed that Caius's empathy had rotted over the many years that he had lived. And yet, in this moment, Silas had wished that Valentino had not noticed his overly potent emotions. Silas had always been a bad liar. Valentino was aware about the strained relationship between him and his maker. Of course, an evening like this was something he wanted to run away from. Something about it made the young vampire appear even more enticing. "I see." Valentino noted in response before reaching into the inside of his suit to pull out a bigger envelope. "Well, your father wanted me to hand this to you before you leave. Only a few more formalities. Nothing more." Valentino explained as he held out the large envelope towards him. "Have a save drive home then. Enjoy your meal." The vampire bid his Farwell after the envelope was taken before he turned around to leave. Silas had always been a bad liar. It wasn't an untrue fact. Silas had never truly liked lying. He was rather bad at detecting lies as well, as Valentino was well aware of. He had always been the type that struggled to hide these sort of things. He wore his emotions on his sleeve. And while he had years of practice at burying his emotions, Valentino had more years at detecting lies. Perhaps it helped that Valentino had well known Silas since boyhood. He had watched the child of a vampire progress, watched him grow and learned all of the things that made him tick. He knew better than most the things that went on in Silas Griffin's head. What he liked. What he didn't like. How honest he liked to be, and his tell's when it came to lying. Silas's gaze drifted back up as Valentino's hand shifted into his suit, searching for something inside. "Ah..." He noted softly, taking the envelope with a distinct frown. He had a feeling he knew what laid inside. What words were written. He wished that he had not to acknowledge it. Had he have missed Valentino, perhaps it would have never made it's way to him. He sighed and nodded, "Have a good night, Valentino." He noted, finding his way to his car, a tired sigh escaping his lips. "Fuck..." His body crumbled into his seat, his hands lousily fumbling for keys before pushing forward. He hadn't wanted a driver for the night. Not when he knew the state he would be in. Not tonight. Not when they would see his weaknesses. A hand tiredly raked through his hair. "Get it together..." He muttered under his breath, pushing onto the gas peddle and pushing forwards. It was a short drive and yet the roads blurred. Silas knew that he had to read the letter. It burned in his pocket, as if it would burst into flames should he not open it. Pulling into the driveway, Silas tore open the letter, a knot tying in his throat as he began to read. @MJ Miracle <<||°_°||>>

As soon as Silas unfolded the paper of the letter, only a single red rose petal slipped out, landing in his lap. The words written on the very blank pages read in very beautiful grace filled lettering: "Make your choice..." Three simple words. A unspoken yet clear threat that Silas only knew too well... Since the moment Silas had left, the book that Tobias was reading seemingly had lost a great part of the ability to absorb the reader. He found himself shifting almost uncomfortable in his seat until Tobias closed the book with a snap to head down into the kitchen. Perhaps a bit of cooking would distract him. He'd certainly improved his skills, cutting up a few fruits the way Silas had taught him. After placing a few slices on a small plate and taking a fork along with it, Tobias made his way back up to the library. He'd gotten used to the maze of corridors and halls by now, easily navigating back to his seat near the large window with great view out to the sunset colored green of the vampires luscious garden... The hours went by as the plate of fruits went barely untouched. Despite Tobias effort of trying to remain calm, he couldn't deny how eager he was for Silas to return safely. It was like a relief when he heard the engines of the car roar late in the evening. Tobias was quick to get out of his seat and head towards the main hall. "Silas?" He called out on his way, hoping to locate the other as he heard the doors open and shut close again. "Silas?" He called out again, this time halfway down the spiral staircase of the piano when his eyes finally spotted the vampire. A knot formed in his stomach as he noticed the others gloomy expression, his movements stiff and hasty. "Hey, is everything okay?" Tobias voice was filled with a tint of concern as he watched the vampire approach. @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Make your choice. A threat. Three words and yet those three words were enough to send chills down his spine. He shivered, fear swallowing him whole as he thought about the implications of those three words. Make your choice. The same three words that he had used back then, back when he had last fallen. The last time that he had loved another. The last time that he had lost another. He shuddered, "No... No I cannot." He muttered, "I can't turn him...." His fingers found his hair, pulling at it and beginning to rake through it violently. "Fuck..." He groaned, allowing his head to fall forward against the steering wheel. A singular honk. That was all that Tobias needed to hear to know that Silas was home. And yet, knowing that he was home wasn't even a half of the battle. It was several more minutes before Silas entered. He was well aware that his head hitting the steering wheel would have alerted the boy. Any further sulking in the car would have caused the boy worry and while he knew not what to do, he certainly did not want to cause him to worry. He couldn't stop him from doing so, of course, but he would always try his best to prevent such. And yet, even coming inside wouldn't prevent such worry. Silas? A knot tightened in his throat. His jaw clenched. A deep breath pushed from his chest, in and then out. He knew not what to say, not when he knew that he had dragged the boy into a worse fate than being deemed the pet of a strong vampire. He had dragged the boy to his death. Inevitably. Silas? Another time. He sat down at the stool of the piano, tears glistening in his eyes as he attempted to ignore the boy. He didn't know what to say. Was there really anything to be said in such a moment? He ran another hand through his hair, which was now thoroughly ruined. "Fuck..." He said as a struggled breath escaped his lips, his gaze lifting towards the ceiling as he attempted to push away the tears that were forming in his eyes. It was harder to hold

"C-Course it is." His voice wobbled, revealing a much weaker demeanor than he ever showed Tobias. "Everything is fine. Why wouldn't it be?" He attempted to calm down, his chest still rising and falling with every staggered breath that he took. Hanging by a string. That was what he looked like. Was everything okay? What a stupid question. It left Tobias lips just before the other beelined for the piano chair instead of the stairs, or perhaps the man's arms. The silence around them was suffocating. It only amplified the others shaky breaths, a clearly desperate attempt to remain composed. Tobias could only look at him for a moment, uncertain on what to do. He could not imagine what Silas maker had done to him. With worry filled gaze,Tobias remained frozen on the last step of the stairs, watching almost in horror of how truly broken Silas voice. His neatly styled hair in shambles, breath trembling, voice barely a whisper. Somehow it made the vampire even more human than he actually was. With a worried frown Tobias calmly approached from the side, a small sense of guilt even creeping up on him for asking that stupid question in the first place. Now Tobias remained silent as he sat down besides the other on the chair, hesitating at first before putting his hand on the others shoulder. It was clear that Silas was not ready to speak about what happened, but the man hoped his own touch would be a reminder of that he was there. It was probably the only real form of comfort he could offer in this truly vulnerable moment. @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

There were no words. The silence was deafening. Each step down the stairs that the boy took was deafening. Silas knew he would come towards him, and yet, all he wanted to do was to push him away. To tell him to run. To run until his feet could not drag him any further, to run until he was free from this society, free from the chains that bound one to another, free from all that made this society as twisted as it was. And yet, he could not. There was no running. It simply wasn't an option. Even if they were to run away toghether, there was no escaping. No escaping Caius or the shackles he had placed upon him. He was bound to him. Till death do them part. The knot in his throat left his voice hoarse, escaping in but a whisper as he let his gaze fall, lost on his knees, on his hands which idly wrung at one another as if he could tear the skin off if he tried hard enough. He was in shambles. Hanging by a string that had worn so thin that it was surprising that he had remained so taughtly pulled until then. He hadn't felt like this since he heard his last words. Since he wiped his tears away and held him dying in his arms. Images of the moment flashed across his mind. Him, blood dripping down his arms as he held him, throat still gurgling as he gasped for air. Caius's laughter as he lectured him on the reasoning that humans could not fall in love with vampires. And then it was Tobias. Silas's hands pulled away from another and towards his face, rubbing his eyes as he attempted to push away the nightmarish thoughts. "Fuck..." He muttered again, as if it were the only word in his very large vocabulary. And then an arm wrapped around him. There was silence. And yet, the nightmare had washed away, leaving the green eyed man simply staring at Tobias as if he had lost everything that meant anything to him. His lip wobbled and for the first time, tears dripped down his cheeks. It was not a sob. It wasn't even truly a cry. He sat there for several moments, staring

Upon his gentle touch, Silas broke only down further, sobs and tears breaking free that had been held back eversince the vampire had returned. Something about seeing Silas so vulnerable broke Tobias heart. It was nothing like how he'd imagined things to go during their first meeting. Who could've thought that a vampire can still be human... Tobias didn't say anything, his gaze filled with kindness as his heart weirdly began to flutter. Something about this felt different to any other distant relationship he ever had. Being on the run, jumping from master to master did not leave much room for any strong connections or bonds. But with Silas, Tobias had never felt as connected to another vampire, no, another being. It's all my fault... Once again, Silas started to blame himself. Tobias expression shifted into a concerned frown. He'd known the vampire for long enough now to tell that he always blamed himself for the things nobody could control. It pained Tobias to just sit by and watch. Something had to be done. Tobias didn't want to see the other so sad and filled with despair. Silas had helped him through his own darkest moments, supporting him wherever he could to make Tobias feel safe. Now it was time to return the favor. His hand wandered from the other's shoulder to both of them cupping the vampire's cheek. Tobias didn't even let the other finish his sentence of self blame before he leaned in to press their lips together into a sweet and comforting kiss. Tobias couldn't deny how much he'd missed this taste. He'd thought about this moment a lot, about his own feelings and emotions towards the other. The butterflies in his stomach when the sun hit Silas' dark marble face just right, the way his smooth velvety voice caressed him every time they spoke to another.
5:20β€―AM
It would be foolish to deny those feelings any longer despite the others past. Tobias eventually pulled away after a moment of holding that sweet kiss. His gaze was soft, blue eyes filled with warmth and adoration as he wiped away a few remaining tears with his thumbs. "Shut it now, will you." He gave the other a small shy smile with his sweet words. Those words that had ignited a passion between the two, that had been lingering in the room eversince that night. Tobias was not afraid to deny it anymore, a sign of trust and bonding that hopefully would be returned. @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Fault. It was his fault. If he had never gotten attached to the boy, he would never have such a threat hanging over his head. Caius wasn't one to do something of this scale to regular bloodbags, Silas was well aware of that. This was a punishment, one that he had only earned because of his attachment to humanity, something that his maker truly believed he needed to dispose of. Humanity. In truth, Silas was well aware that he had lost all humanity that he had once had. Time had stolen it from him, just as it had all of the rest. And yet, the man in Tobias's arms, certainly appeared more human than he preferred to let on. One of the first lessons that Caius had taught Silas was to not get attached to things. He was only a child and yet Caius allowed him to get attached to a puppy before slaying it in front of his very eyes. Attachment made one weak. And bonds were easily manipulated. Bonds... were easily manipulated. Tears dripped down his cheeks as he looked at the boy. Once more, the bonds he had made would be manipulated, as if to serve as a reminder for the lesson he had learned so many years ago. He shuddered as Tobias's hand came to his shoulder, "Don't..." he muttered, only having but a moment to protest before lips were against his own. Lips he had longed to feel. For weeks Silas had longed for him. Longed for his touch, for his affection. He wanted to be loved by him, for him to share the bond that he felt forming between the pair of them. And yet, he had not expected to actually receive it. His breaths evened for several moments as he leaned into the boy's lips, tears still dripping down his cheeks. He had wanted this for so long, and yet, in this moment, all he could think was that they were making this worse. Worse. With each moments that their lips connected, the more pain that he knew he would be in should he have to tell the boy of his fate. And then he pulled away. Tobias couldn't deny how nervous he was. Would Silas reject him? Call him crazy for doing something as stupid as a kiss during an emotional moment? Was it even the right moment? The right decision? However all those questions were shut down as he heard Silas soft chuckle. A wave of relief washed over Tobias as he felt the mood lighten. Even as the vampire tried to hide his tears, the boy was so bold to gently wipe the others hand aside. Tobias wanted to look at him, wanting to show that the vampire was not alone in his grief. His blue eyes remained fixed on the other as his body leaned forward again, close. "Then how about we change the rules, Griffin." Tobias gave the other a warm glance, a small smile as he leaned in further, waiting for Silas to connect their lips again. He did not wish to force it in this moment, not let his love take the best of him... Love? Was this really love? Tobias had no idea what all those feelings actually were or meant. Silas had been raised to feel that his pain was meant to be hidden. Grief was not to be shared, and it certainly wasn't meant to be seen by others. No matter the pain you were in, vampires were not meant to show their pain, especially not to a human. That familiar knot curled in his throat as the boy wiped his hand aside, once more revealing his face towards the boys. It was strange, how it made his heart squeeze, each time he leaned in closer, blue eyes lost in his own as he allowed him to share his grief with him. Silas's green eyes looked as if they were shimmering and shining with tears, the whites ever so slightly red and puffy with vulnerability as he allowed him to see him. To truly see him. How about we change the rules, Griffin. Silas chuckled softly, tears twinkling in his eyes as he watched the boy lean in, bringing his lips ever so close once more before waiting. Silas paused, "Sure... perhaps rules were meant to be broken." He muttered, gently bringing his hand to meet the cheek of the boy's before allowing their lips to connect once more. That familiar taste, the familiar warmth. He let out a relinquished sigh as he leaned in, wishing that he could remain as close to him as he was forever. Wishing that he never had to worry about the consequences of his actions. Close to him. Silas wished for him to be close to him. And yet, he well remembered the consequences of his touch the last time that the boy had allowed him to get this close. During that time he held his own breath, waiting until he felt the others breath just hovering above his lips before speaking. Perhaps rules were made to be broken... Silas touch send a shiver down his spine before their lips connected once again. Tobias leaned in with a small muffled sigh of relief, his hands cupping the vampire's cheeks as he tasted the other over and over again. It did not take long til his hands wandered down the side of the others neck, one gripping losely into Silas' perfectly styled hair while the other wrapped around the vampire's shoulder. During all of this, Tobias own body moved closer, gently leaning against the others chest as if to tell the other that it was okay to touch... Few moments passed as the kisses grew more heated until Tobias slowly parted his lips from the other. "How about we take this somewhere more...comfortable..." Quite truthfully, Silas had never imagined that he would be back in the boy's arms again. He had thought that he had blown it. That he had ruined something before it had begun and that while the two enjoyed one another's company, that it would never become what he wished for it to be. And yet, with his touch, he willingly leaned in. Lips met lips. Over and over again. Several times. His eyes fluttered closed, arms wrapping around the boy's as he moved closer, his body leaning up against his chest. He was hesitant, his hands gently wrapping around him and finding his shoulders, his breaths steadying as he leaned into him. It was nice to me close to him, to feel his body up against his, and each moment that they leaned into one another caused him to long for him more, wishing for closeness that he could not yet imagine. And then he pulled away. Again. His lips parted, soft breaths escaping his lips as he looked into the radiating blue eyes that stared back at him. How about we take this somewhere more...comfortable... Silas paused, almost audible in his surprise as he nodded softly, hesitation clear in his eyes, "I'd like that...very much so..." His voice came smooth and gentle, the richness returning as he grew more comfortable, as if the boy was washing away some of those worries that ailed him. @MJ Miracle <<||°_°||>>

Hearing Silas agree made Tobias heart flutter with relief and a sense of excitement. With the vampire having given his consent, the boy went in for another kiss, sweet and tender before unraveling his arms and standing up. "Come then." With that Tobias had pulled the vampire up with him, again wrapped into his arms as he tasted those addictive lips once more. Somehow the Two had made it up the stairs and hallways while still being entangled with each other. Sweet kisses were shared as Tobias guided them towards Silas room, occasionally tangled up on their way and caught up between those kisses both of them craved so badly. Once the door to Silas room fell closed behind them, Tobias pulled the vampire in for another kiss, pushing the other to stand in front of him while making their way over to the bed. Tobias was gentle, careful as he gently pushed Silas to sit onto the edge of the bed. He followed, carefully straddling the others lap before stealing another kiss. "Let me take care of you." He murmured against the vampire's cold lips, his hands already settled on the others chest, ready to open and reveal what was waiting for him underneath... @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Come. It was one word, and yet it sent chills up his spine. His gaze fell softly, lips tugging into a weak smile as he leaned into his tender lips once more, slipping deeper into his addictive pull. He was sure, that if Tobias wanted to, he could do anything that he wanted to to him. If he wanted something, he would get hiim it, without a doubt. If only, it meant that he could continue to feel this closeness to him. The two stumbled up the stairs one stair at a time. One step. Hands tangled in hands, each pushing at one another and pressing into one another with each step that they took. Kisses teased and led to more kisses, each making the vampire long for his love more. His love. He knew not how Tobias saw it, but Silas was well aware of how he saw it. This was his love, and while he didn't know how Tobias truly felt, he hoped that it was only love that he too was feeling. Finally making it into the room, Silas allowed Tobias to guide him towards the bed, ever so gently pushing him to sit on the edge of the bed. His gaze lifted, watching as the boy crawled onto his lap, straddling him as he leaned into his lips once more, this time with more desperation than the last. Let me take care of you. Silas made little reply save for the hum of agreement as he leaned into his lips, his arms wrapped around him as he began to unbutton his shirt, revealing his well chiseled body, his abs and pecks well developed from years of strenuous exercise. Silas's hands traced down Tobias's back, gently running along the wrinkles of his shirt before making their way into his hair, tangling in the blonde locks. @MJ Miracle <<||°_°||>>

Button by button, Tobias worked its way down Silas' shirt, revealing the vampires flawless smooth skin underneath. Such perfection, a true gift. Those fingers send a shiver down his spine as they carefully caressed over his back. Tobias gasped a bit, feeling those hands playing with his locks, tugging on his hair as the shirt was now undone and only needed to be slid off the vampires arms and shoulders. Tobias was quick to move on yet took his time as his hand lingered over the others belt, looking back up from his work to meet Silas gaze to perhaps spot any signs of disapproval but was instead met with a spark of deep desire that only mimicked his own. With that, Tobias moved to unbuckle the others belt before pulling down the rest of the zipper. He couldn't stop himself from gently tracing over the vampire's growing erection as he leaned in for another kiss. After that, Tobias straightened his back before pulling his own shirt over his head to reveal his own body. Again it revealed from the front only a part of his own scars, only a small part of the pain and agony of his past. Despite those obvious flaws, his body seemed to be in much better shape than when Tobias had first gotten here. His body looked healthier, his skin not as pale as before. He had even gained a bit more muscle definition to his slim frame from all the garden work. Once his shirt was tossed aside, Tobias stood up again, pulling down his own loose pants and removing any other type of clothing he was wearing. His eyes remained focused on Silas during that process, watching him remove the rest of his clothes as well. Now that there was nothing left to stand between the two, the boy approached again, gently pushing over Silas into the sheets with one hand before his own body settled on top. Their lips quickly reunited, indulging in the other's sweet taste with sounds of pleasure soon escaping.

Button by button. Hands on hands. Bodies pressed up against one another. Silas hadn't been this close to another in years, so many years that he had forgotten the way it made his heart flutter. Though, perhaps that was a new symptom of who he was touching. A gasp escaped Silas's lips as Tobias's fingers slid down his chest, feeling the smooth skin that laid underneath. "Lord..." He muttered under his breath, almost shivering as the boy moved past his shirt and down to his pants, only lifting his gaze for several moments before beginning to unbuckle it. It made his mouth water. It made chills climb his spine. He swallowed, letting out heavy breaths as he slid the shirt off of his arms and shoulders and allowed it to fall onto the bed. Intoxicating. It was entirely intoxicating to feel Tobias's hands on him. He bit his lips as he pulled the zipper down, his gaze locked on the boy as he leaned in once more for a kiss. He let his eyes flutter closed as their lips connected again, a groan of pleasure escaping him as his finger traced along his erection, those chills once more teasing at him. He had a feeling that Tobias liked it, liked the way that he shuddered so vulnerably when he touched him, that he didn't mind seeing the vulnerabiluty in him. "Lord.... you are a masterpiece, Tobias." He muttered, standing to slide his pants to the ground as he watched the boy reveal his skin. It did not look flawed to him, instead it looked like a work of art, mosaic ceramic that had been formed simply through experience, experience that only he could own. It was his history. And while it may have been painful, he hoped that the boy could one day come to love himself, scars and all. As they were a part of him just as much as anything else. He stepped towards him, gently placing a kiss on his shoulder before standing up and sliding the rest of his clothing off, only standing up straight once he had done so. Something about Silas muttered words of awe and those emerald eyes only fixed on him felt incredibly empowering for Tobias. It only encouraged him to go further, knowing that the vampire clearly enjoyed himself and was just as eager to continue as he was. Even when his scars were once again exposed, Silas only seemed to marvel at them, perhaps finding them to be truly beautiful although they were something that Tobias himself considered flaws. Wounds of the past, reminders of pain endured, wounds healed physically but never truly emotionally. But it were moments like this that Tobias cherished deeply as the other wrapped his arms around his neck, pulling him closer into another kiss. Skin against skin, all while the vampire still seemed to be especially careful not to lay hands on his back. It was with great courage that after going in for another kiss, Tobias paused just for a moment to look at the other with half lidded eyes, not wanting this moment to end like last time. No. It wouldn't end like that. After a moment of silence and gazing into the others eyes, Tobias gulped. "Touch them... it's okay..." His voice was a whisper, a remnant of shakiness still present all the way in the back. He didn't know what would happen, how his body would react. It was the fear of losing this moment again that caused the true quiver in his voice. But Tobias knew that if all of this was ever meant to have a future, he'd need to face his fears and conquer them just like his body had healed. @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Love. He loved him. Loved him in a way that honestly words could not explain, and even if they could, he could not say them. Not when he knew that it was far too early for them. He wanted him, all of him. He wanted to give himself to him, to let him know that it was okay, that he was as much his as he was his own. That this wasn't ownership, it was love, and love that he hoped would never be lost. This love was something that Silas could not ignore as he looked on Tobias, as he watched him crawl on top of him, as he kissed along his skin. And then he pulled away. Silas half panicked as he remembered the last time he had touched too far. And yet the half lidded look on the boy was not one of fear. It was one of great courage, courage that Silas was sure that the boy would not have mustered up just a month ago. Touch them... it's okay... Silas bit his lip, "Alright." His voice came just as quiet, gentle. His hands softly slid towards his back, fingertips trailing ever so gently along each of the scars. His fingers traced along them, eyes meeting his once more, "You are beautiful, Tobias..." He whispered, bringing his lips to his shoulder, "Every part of you." His voice dragged softly, so rich and smooth as he pulled his lips away, "and I hope one day that you can see that as well... " His hands then slid off of the scars, one coming to cup his cheek, a tired and weakened smile crossing his lips. "You really are a masterpiece.." He chuckled, tears still twinkling in his eyes as he smiled. "Please don't break on me." He whispered, his fingers pushing through Tobias's golden locks once more. "I... The truth was that not even Tobias knew what would happen as soon as Silas touched his scars. Part of him was scared that all those negative thoughts and feelings came over him, swallowing him like last time they had become this close. The boy took a small deep breath after Silas agreed, bracing himself for what he'd expected to be a flash of emotions. Instead, there was silence as those fingers traced slowly carefully down his body. Tobias could feel his body not tremble, but shiver. Shiver at every little delicate touch he felt on his back. Silas fingers were soft, like soft feathers brushing over each little wound, each little cut his past left behind. There was no echo of laughter, no dark shadows towering over him. It was only him and Silas. Tobias gasped at every small shiver, eyes fluttering closed while his back arched with every bitter sweet touch. It felt good, even better than Tobias had ever imagined. Silas was the only person that could've ever make him feel that way. A deep bond of trust that had slowly took root and which branches beared the sweetest fruits. You are beautiful, Tobias... A airy moan slipped his throat as Silas lips and words send warm shivers through his entire body, a warmth and comfort he'd never felt before. In this moment, Tobias couldn't hold back his few tears of joy, hoping one day he could indeed put his past truly behind him. Taking a deep shaky breath once his scars were no longer observed, the boy looked into the vampire's eyes, a sense of longing, deep passion and love overwhelming him. "I won't, I promise." Tobias whispered back in a soft trembling voice as one tear rolled down his face. With one of his hands settled onto the other that cupped his cheek, Tobias leaned himself in for another kiss letting the other pull him closer for another heartfelt exchange. "We will never loose each other again."

He reassured softly, going back for another kiss. "I- I love you, Silas. Very much." Words of courage, spoken out of heart that had taken Tobias so long to realize. Part of him felt odd about admitting such feelings in the open, let alone have such feelings for anyone. But with Silas it felt just... right. I love you. Silas paused, staring at the boy with an expression he certainly had never shown him before. He swallowed, cheeks redenning, though it was hard to see with how dark his complexion was. He knew not what to say, eyes wide with some sort of revelation. He loved him. He bit his lip, unsure of himself before allowing the boy to meet his lips once more. Tears swelled in his eyes, "I love you too.... very very much." He whispered, letting out a pitiful chuckle as he said them. "Gods...I've wanted to say those words to you for so long." He smiled, shaking his head, "You beat me to it." Love. It was something that all longed for, and yet, if there was one thing that many vampires lost in their immortality, it was love. They feigned the emotion with partners, and yet, if there was one thing that Silas had found, it was that such human emotions seemed to grow dull over time. Such was the folly of immortality. Many attempted to find similar connections, to find love between other vampires, and yet it seemed that the punishment of taking life from another was to never be able to love again. Silas had feared that fact for years. Had feared the fact that love was impossible to find among his own kind. And yet, were they truly his kind? He knew not. For his heart still remained with humans, that which had been so unwillingly torn away from him. That was when he met him, a boy named Damian with dark curls and a love for gardening. Damian taught him what it was to be human, taught him to love himself and reminded him that it was heart which made one human. Damian had helped him to put his feet back on the ground and guided him as he relearned to walk until he could do so on his own two feet. And Damian had been so roughly torn away from him. Silas looked at the boy for several moments, fear still evident in the viridian colored eyes. We will never lose each other again. It was a statement he wished he could believe. The blank stare of surprise was what made Tobias breath halt and heart race. He wasn't sure what Silas was feeling, how he'd perceived the other ove the past month from the day he'd arrived. But something about those tender few touches they'd shared while reading together, the soft subtle glances exchanged while gardening. It felt like a wave of relief coursed through Tobias body as the other allowed him to feel those tender lips once more. I love you too... A shaky sigh of relief pressed through the man's lips with the others chuckle. Gently Tobias rested his forehead against the others. All of his worries washed away, replaced by a warm feel of comfort, safety. "Then let me show how much I love you." Tobias whispered softly before going back into another kiss. "How much I want you." He murmured between kisses, his mind and body slowly taken over by the desire that had built during all this time. His body found a slow rhythm, hips grinding slowly against the other while his hands cupped the vampire's cheeks. Their tongues fought a fierce battle of ignited passion. Words could not describe how much Tobias had longed for this moment. "I want to make you feel good." Tobias parted from their kiss, lifting his upper body from the other with his two hands placed besides the others head. The movement of his hips gained in pace, growing more restless as his member moved against the other with ever so quickly growing excitement. Let me show you how much I love you. A knot tangled in Silas's throat, his gaze lifting towards the boys. He had never heard him speak like that, seen him take such control of a situation. He had been a feisty thing when he had first taken him, and yet this was different than feistiness. He had taken control and even if he wished for it, there was no prying it from the blonde's grips. How much I want you. He swallowed, his body heating as he nodded, "Okay, show me what you've got then, love." He whispered, his voice smooth and sweet. Days ago, Silas hadn't even dreamt that Tobias would share his feelings. The pair dodged each other, merely coexisting rather than sharing much time together. In truth, Silas had been worried about overwhelming him, giving him so much space that he wondered if their relationship would further deteriorate. And yet, somehow, that breathing room had given Tobias not only the time to grow on his own, but the time to develop the feelings that Silas never thought he would. Barraged by kisses, Silas allowed himself to slip further into the boy's adoration, his eyes falling closed as he leaned down and planted kisses along his skin. He shivered, a vulnerability overcoming him that he had not yet allowed Tobias to truly see. He shuddered, gasping out as he began to grind against him, teasing and heating up his body. Tobias had fucked with many vampires before. Taken and given, depending on what his past masters wished of him to do. During all those times, there was never such a thing as spark or joy. No love, adoration or happiness. Just anger, pain and grief for what little of his soul he lost each time he had been forced into doing it. But this time, it was different by miles. It was uncomparable to all the things Tobias had been forced to endure. Hearing that he was making Silas feel good on his own accord, in his own pace felt like a revelation to all the demons of the past he'd endured. Each little gasp, each groan was like a gift that fueled his passion like oil tossed into the fire. Every feathered little touch on his back made Tobias gasp, sending warm shivers through his body. You are everything to me... Tobias groaned with every move of his hips, eyes fluttering closed for a moment as those words sank in. Silas was everything to him. Never in his life had he felt drawn towards someone else like that. "I love you- so much... fuck" Tobias answered the others praises, their bodies grinding against each other until he slowed down with one dragged gasp. Tobias couldn't look away from Silas as he layed beneath the human, blue eyes filled with desire as his hand reached out. His lips were soft, Tobias first thought as his two fingers caressed along the vampire's cold lips before they slowly pulled the bottom lip lower, eventually slipping between them. Tobias gasped as he felt tbe other's tongue do the rest, a beautiful sensation. His hips moved as Silas did his work until Tobias eventually took his hand away. With two of his fingers wet now, Tobias moved his hand lower, eventually closing around the vampire's hardening member. All the time his eyes were coming back to his love as if to ask for permission. Sex. In truth, Silas was not as experienced with this as Tobias may have thought. Vampires got around. It wasn't an untrue statement. As time passed, many vampires explored sexuality and the various things that came with it, including sex. Be it heterosexual, bisexual, pansexual, homosexual, vampires did not truly care. As time went by, very few found sex to determine anything regarding sex. Preferences were fine tuned, and sexuality was better understood once you had lived for a good 100 years or so. Despite that, Silas was not as experienced as one may have assumed. Turned in youth, Silas had often been considered stunted emotionally. Or at least, that was Caius claimed. For the first 50 years of his life, he refused to get close to another. Distrusting that the same vampires that took away his family would somehow tarnish his relationships. He certainly would not get close to other vampires, and while he took on various bloodbags, he never once got close to one. The next 50 years of life, he grew bored, isolated. Refusing to take a consistent bloodbag and spending time away from the other vampires. That was when Caius put his foot down. Considering those 100 years akin to a mere temper tantrum, he reminded the young vampire of what he was and what he needed. Others. Companionship. In truth, it did not come easy. Silas had slept with a number of vampires. Female ones. Male ones. Ones who were on the lines of either. Both? Threesomes, foursomes, the like. Nothing really did it for him. Not like this did. Silas shuddered as the young man began to increase the speed, fueled forth by each reaction that the man underneath him gave. His moans were soft and grumbled, as if he did not wish to sound so vulnerable, and yet could not help it. "I love you too-- really, I do." He answered back, "More than you'll ever understand." His words came as soft coo's, sweet like honey as they dripped from his lips. Breaths grew hot and heavy between the two, each drag dra

wing forth reaction as Tobias toyed with him. Fingers on lips made him hum, eyes softening lustfully as he looked up at his love. His love. He hummed in pleasure at the mere thought, allowing his lips part by the boy. He licked his lips and welcomed the fingers into his lips, his tongue pushing and swirling around it sensually, his gaze ever so longing. One could melt in those eyes. As he aimed to please him in a way that none ever had. As Tobias pulled his fingers out, his lips made a popping noise, saliva dragging between the two as he lowered it to close around his hardening member. All that escaped his was a shaky gasp, one that made it evident how good it felt. He leaned his head back and pulled his arms up above his head, gasping out as his fingers began to move. "Fuuuuuckkkk." His voice dragged as he groaned, his member twitching in response, somehow growing even more erect. How does it feel? Am I making you feel good? I want to make you feel good. The trio of statements came at once, fast, so fast that Silas hardly had a response before he leaned in and kissed him. His eyes fluttered closed, hums of pleasure escaping as their lips tangled. Tobias words were a ramble of passion but also nervousness. He'd much experience from his past, much more than he'd have personally liked. Every time it felt like an obligation. But now, he just wanted everything to be perfect. He paid close attentions to what spots Silas enjoyed, the pacing of his stroked, pressure points which resulted in few more extra gasps. It felt ecstatic. Hearing Silas reassuring words felt like a big relief. He wanted to do an even better job, to keep going until the Two of them were truly seeing stars. Tobias leaned down with another smile, pressing his lips against the other before now completely sitting up straight. "Ready?" He asked with a small blush spreading across his cheek, waiting for the others approval. Once he'd received that, the boy went on to scoot a bit forward, shifting his body weight onto his knees as his hand went around his back to guide Silas erection to the right place. Tobias could already feel it. Silas tip was teasing his entrance, before he slowly lowered himself onto it. Tobias gasped, feeling the others tip slowly stretching him open for more. He could only take it slow, pushing a bit more in before pulling back out and then in again. A steady rhythm of gasps and moans with Tobias hand resting steady on Silas bare chest. Slowly he took the other more and more until Tobias finally was able to sit down. His head rolled back with a deep moan before his eyes found their way back to the vampire below him. "Fuck you feel so... good~." Tobias moaned, deep blue eyes stuck to the other as both of his hands now settled on the vampire's chest.

Nerves. Tobias was not the only one who was nervous. In truth, Silas felt as if the butterflies in his stomach were on a rampage and could not be stopped. Not unless Tobias himself took control of them. Yes, because Tobias was in control. His gaze lost on the boy, Silas was sure that he would let the boy do anything that he wanted to him. It was a strange thing to think. After all, it was supposed to be the other way around. Caius would look down on him for such. In this moment, he did not care. His thoughts were not on such things. Ready? His attention lifted back to the boy on top of him. His lips parted, ever so slightly, eyes swirling with some sort of lust that he couldn't even truly describe. He swallowed, his breaths hot and heavy, shuddering as Tobias scooted forwards, shirting his weight so that he could guide Silas's member to align. Align. Silas let a shaky breath out in apprehension. "Ready." He confirmed, his hands wrapped around the boy, clinging to him as he anticipated the pleasure that was sure to overwhelm him in but a matter of moments. Silas could already feel it. His tip teasing at the boy's entrance. It was enough to make him shiver, his body feeling as if it were on overdrive. He swallowed and let his head arch back as Tobias began to lower himself onto it. He let out a moan that could not be held back, his eyes widening as Tobias's hand landed on his chest, beginning to use him for leverage as he lowered himself deeper and deeper until he was fully sitting on his member. Silas had no words, his moans enough to tell the boy how he was feeling. Blissful. Sounds of pleasure filled the air of Silas Emerald bedroom. It was easy for Tobias to loose himself within this flurry of passion. Yet the way Silas eyes rolled back, the way his back arched underneath him, how his body yearned for more. It was like the sweetest honey Tobias had ever tasted. He wanted more. Their bodies were molting together with each moan, each grind, each thrust. Tobias couldn't get enough of seeing Silas like this, of feeling him inside, so close and deep. A deep connection they shared that grew stronger with each pant and moan. Moan for me my love... Tobias obliged without further thought, feeling the others nails raking across his back before settling onto his hips for more guidance. Every word, every praise only fueled Tobias desire as he took Silas over and over again. Then suddenly, an idea popped into Tobias head. "Fuck! The blonde would've never asked for such a thing under any normal circumstances, but his mind was too consumed by pleasure to think straight. "Taste me! I want you to- fuck~ Silas!" Tobias couldn't stop any of those words between breathless moans. He wanted to make Silas and himself feel good, showing him his full trust and love by offering him his own blood on his own free will like he'd done many times for him, but never for any other Vampire before him. Not in a selfish or greedy way, but a true act of trust and love... @κ’° shae κ’± ΰΌ‰β€§β‚ŠΛš.

Silas no longer knew when he had started crying again. The blur between pleasure and pain sent shivers down his spine, clawing into his skin until he remembered the chains that Caius had placed on him. The chains that he could not escape. The chains that Tobias too, could not escape. Tears dripped down his cheeks, idly as he cried silently. Unlike earlier, this time, his sobs had grown silent, his despair without noise as he shivered, unable to explain to Tobias what haunted him, what made him react this way. What made him react this way. He shook his head, shuddering as the image of his past lover shifted into the face of Tobias, blood pooling around him, body limp. He shuddered and pushed away from Tobias, "D-Don't touch me..." he muttered, "I--" His voice shook with each word, fear threatening to swallow him, "I'm going to be your downfall... you--" He shook his head and pulled at his hair, fingers raking roughly through it. "Tobias... you-- you need to get away from me... he'll--" He started, his words distraught and tangled, as if he could not make sense of them. He swallowed and lifted his gaze, "He'll take you away from me...I've defied him one too many times... he's going to take you away from me... I--I don't want to lose you..." He rambled, pushing out of the bed and pulling his boxers back on. "I--I have to do something... I--" He was a mess, hair tangled and sweat dripping down his back as he began to pace back and forth. "Tobias... I can't lose you..." He softened, "I... I don't want to be alone.... I don't want to lose you..." He muttered, falling to his knees in a crumbled mess. He shivered, his body looking for once, incredibly weak. Perhaps pleasure could not wash away pain. Perhaps all this had been was a distraction, and as it washed away, all that was left was the pain of reality, and the man that had been devoured by years of loneliness. @MJ Miracle <<||°_°||>>
