ROLEPLAY HQ - Room 129

Ren sighed to herself and closed the door behind her. She had hurriedly ran to her room as someone had bumped into her, and their water spilt on her. Just as she closed the door, her legs transformed into her koi mermaid tail, making her fall onto the floor. "Ow!" She'd exclaim, whining to herself. Time to drag herself to the bathtub...

Willie had just happened to be walking by room 129 when he heard the fall, then the "Ow" Followed by it. He stopped in his tracks and looked at the door before approaching it. A few loud knocks could be heard before he spoke. "Hello, are you okay in there? This is Willie the manager."

Ren blinked and turned her fish like body to see the door. She panicked, she had been dragging herself across the floor to try to get into some type of body of water. She cleared her throat and spoke up. "Uh..Yeah! Yeah I'm fine! No worries!!"

Willie tilted his head. 'Is that.. Ren?' He thought for a moment, confused. "Wait.. is this Ren? Ren are you okay? You sound like you're struggling. Ren is someone in there with you? Should I come in and help?!"

"Uh...yeah it's me! I-I'm okay I promise!" It sounded like she was farther away. Truthfully it was because she was halfway to the tub at this point.

Willie decided to joke around a bit. "Hold on I'll get my gun and shoot the lock." He chuckles before shuffling a bit. "Are you ready? Here it comes. BOOM!" He would yell, laughing hysterically. "I'm joking I'm joking, really though, do you need help?"

Ren laughed a little after his joke, shaking her head. She sighed, she knew she was gonna need help at some point, be it now or before she got into some water. "...Yeah..." She shamefully admitted, her face turning red. It was gonna be awkward.

"Alright, alright. You'd better not be laughing at my wheeze of a laugh." He chuckles, twisting the doorknob to enter the room. "Really though it sounded like a bad fall." He turns to go into the room where light was coming from. "I though something was hap-" He stopped in the doorway, his jaw dangling open. He was at a loss for words. "What the hell is this?! Do we have a wizard here or what?" He stands in the doorway, still staring in awe.

"Ah well...I technically did fall? And erm...no it's just me. Erm...I'm technically a mermaid upon contact with water...and someone spilt water on me so..." She sighed, pointing to her drenched shirt on her person.

"I had no clue.. so.. how should I help you?" He stood there, her (tail?) Was long and stretched throughout the entire bathroom. "Erm.. I.. you won't be able to fit your entire person in the tub.."

Ren sighed and rubbed the back of her neck. "Uh...where can I go?.. I don't want my tail to dry out.."

Willie laughs. "To the beach, pool or you can turn on the shower and risk getting the floors all wet. When do you turn back??"

"I could be like this for hours. The longest was like...eight?"

Willie sighs, thinking for a moment. "If you leave it out of water it'll change.. correct? If you stay in water it'll never change. I'm confused. Anyways, what would you like to do?"

"Pretty much. Yeah. I...feel uncomfortable at the moment, when I change I usually need to hydrate for an hour or two. Or my tail will be flaky and gross. I should be able to change back after."

Alright alright. I'll tell you what. I'll help you in the tub and turn the shower on so that it is constantly spraying on you. Later when you change back just come get me and I'll clean all the water off the floor. Sound good?"

Ren nodded and smiled faintly. "Thank you, Willie. I appreciate it. And ehm...can you keep it a secret for now, please? For me?"

"Erm.. ofcourse Ren. You are very beautiful though, don't let anyone tell you otherwise." He smiles and bends down grabbing the girl by her tail. "Alright, can you climb into the tub, I'll try and get your tail in as best I can." He says.

Ren smiled weakly. It was sad to not be able to take the compliment genuinely. She did her best to climb in, using all the strength she could.

Willie lifted the girls tail, helping her lift herself into the tub in a way. Willie moved closer to the tub and leaned the girls tail on the wall of the shower. "Ahem.. alrighty then.. um.. I'll have to point the shower head up, and hopefully water will run down your tail. Will the work, or would you like me to hand you the shower head?" He stepped back and sat down on the toilet, looking over at Ren.

Ren sighed after she got settled in. She smiled faintly to Willie, glad he was at least willing to help her. "I can take the shower head, it's no worries."

"Perfect!" He stands from the toilet and turns around. He reaches for the shower head, slipping it out of it's holder before bending down to hand it to Ren. "There are multiple settings you can change it to. You can reach the knob from here to adjust the water. However, do you want me to turn it on for you?"

She took the shower head carefully and already pointed it at her koi tail. She briefly smiled down at it, it was a pretty tail, that she couldn't deny. "Yes please!"

Willie reaches out and turns the water on to the middle. That was it had half warm and half cold water coming through. "So.. how come your so ashamed of this? Your tail is beautiful Ren.. there isn't nothing to be afraid of."

Ren softly sprayed her tail down before lazily holding it was her arm rested on the tub. Her fin lightly flipped as she looked at it. "It's...hard to say really." She sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I always found that when I'm...like this, people just...seemed more inclined to talk to me. More interested in me. And it really shatters my self esteem..."

"Ah.. well.. I didn't have no problem talking to you yesterday. The only difference now is that you have a tail. I'm still gonna talk to you no matter what. Look at me. I'm a skeleton. I don't worry about how people look at me, or if they'd talk to me more if I had skin.. and muscles. You're beautiful in both forms. Don't let that ruin how you feel about your human self. If.. that makes sensem"

"Awhh.." Ren smiled and chuckled a bit at his statement of being a skeleton. "Thank you. That means a lot. I'm not sure how this started, ever since I was in my late teens. It's odd, there's no history that I know of of this."

Willie nods. "Well.. shit happens. That's all I can say. Hell u got shot and killed. I had it coming though. I wasn't worried about it. I was scared, but I wasn't worried. No one would've missed me. I messed my life up, aswell as a lot of others. I guess.. someone out there thought I deserved a second chance, so here I am."

Ren smiled in a more saddened way, nodding and understanding. "Well, I can say that you're probably the coolest skeleton around."

Willie laughs a bit. "I'm actually the only skeleton around. One of these days.. someone will show up.. somehow.. they will give me a body to live in.. if not that.. the powerful being that resurrected me will kill me.. for good. I think about that, every single day."

Ren pouted in worry now. "Awh, Willie. I'm sure someone will come by to give you a vessel. I can't imagine how it's like. I'm sorry."

"Hopefully.. it'd be nice to smile again." Willie chuckles. "Hell it would be nice to actually be able to feel again.. to drink again. Oh how I loved my alcohol. I used to get so drunk when I could actually drink! Now the stuff just goes right through me.. literally."

She giggled and tried to imagine how that would look, only to shake her head. "Would it have to be someone basically willing to give their life up, for you? Like, just their entire being gone?"

Willie shook his head. "I believe.. there is a being out there that is powerful and can make me into a human being, and still be the fastest gunslinger out there." He chuckles at the last part. "For real though, someone out there has to be able to do it. If there is someone who can resurrect dead people, then I believe there is someone out there who can make a body on my person, with muscles, and skin, and feeling. You know?"

"Definitely. I believe so, at least. I mean, why not? After all, it's possible for a girl like me to suddenly have this mermaid capability. I think anything is possible." She smiled warmly to Willie, and then hummed to herself in thought. "This is an inconvenience though...I'm starting to get hungry."

Willie sighed. "Exactly, anything is possible. However.. how do you want me to help you with that? I think I'll just bring the entire tub to the Cafe. How does that sound?"

Ren laughed nervously, shaking her head. "There's no way! It'll break the tub, and this thing with me in it must weigh tons! Willie, no need!" She protested and held back more laughter.

I mean.. are you sure? I don't mind waiting until you turn back to go grab a bite to eat. We actually have a new chef. I'm sure he is dying to cook for someone, or craving the compliments." Willie chuckles.

"Are...well. Ehm...how long has it been?" She asked, rubbing the back of her neck. She wasn't sure how long it'll be, but she certainly feels nice in the tub.

"Well Ren.. 10 minutes.. at most." He laughs. Either way he was gonna stay and make sure Ren has someone to talk to the entire time. He couldn't imagine what it was like to sit and wait for a couple of hours by yourself, doing nothing but holding a shower head. "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." (edited)

"Well...maybe we can order room service! And hopefully people aren't in need of anything you could help with for a while...I feel bad."

"Ah yes, ofcourse ofcourse. Our lovely maid Ivory is available! Just give me a quick moment." Willie stands from the toilet and heads out of the bathroom to a telephone that sat on the bedside table. He stops and turns to Ren. "Erm.. what do you want to eat?"

Ren giggled at that and then tapped her chin in though, while rinsing her tail once more. "Well...maybe something easy like ehhh..." She hummed, then a lightbulb went off, then she laughed. "Would it be wrong to want sushi?"

Willie shook his head. "Not at all Ren. Fish eat fish.. I- I mean.. I'm not calling you a fish I just.. you know.. eh.. nevermind." He turns to the phone, grabbing it. From there he tapped a couple numbers. The phone rang for a bit before what sounded like a woman answered. "Hello Ivory, can I get some sushi brought over to Room 129 please?" He was silent for a moment. "Yes, alright.. thank you. Alright bye." He hung the phone up and headed back to the bathroom where he once again sat on the toilet. "Would you like to meet Ivory?.. She doesn't discriminate, I promise."

Ren chuckled to herself as he tried to correct himself, smiling down at her tail. He wasn't wrong, and well...she liked sushi and seafood! "Ivory? Ah...I...well..." She hesitated, she was so about keeping her secret that it really made her hesitant to meet people when like this. She had to take a deep breath before answering. "That's okay, yes."

"You shouldn't be afraid. Ivory is a very lovely lady. Mean.. but lovely." Willie rubs the back of his.. neck?.. before sighing himself. "Don't worry, just.. don't do anything to make her mad is all. She is really nice unless you do that."

"Ahh.." She gulped and chuckled weakly once more. "I'm...I'll try? I really don't like stepping on toes."

"Good, because you do not want to step on her toes.. she gets mean.. real mean." Willie turns to the side, thinking for a moment. "So.. has anything bad ever happened because of your tail?"

Ren was caught off guard by the question, she wasn't...entirely sure. "What do you mean? Like people mistreating me?"

Willie bobbed his head side to side. "Ehhhh.. I mean.. I'm not sure how to word it, but I guess you could say that yes. Like.. how did your parents and siblings take it?"

Ren washed her tail down before answering, giving her some time to think. "Well...I guess they were...well, no I can't say that because I left. Well, they viewed me as a weird monster. They thought a witch cursed me or something and I would get bullied by my siblings. They would just throw water on me for the fun of it."

Willie instantly regret asking. "Ah.. well.. I'm sorry to hear that Ren. I see it more as.. a gift. If you ask me why.. well I'm not sure. What I do know is that you've probably seen some very beautiful things in the water.. haven't you?"

Ren perked up at the question and nodded. "Yes! I have seen so many things. I somehow can breathe underwater having no gills, and it's just...I wish some could see. It's amazing. A whole other world."

"I bet! I've seen some beautiful things in my previous life, but I've also seen some things no one wishes to hear about. You'll have to show me one day. I'm sure we can figure something out.. I never really like water if I'm being honest." Willie chuckles softly. "The thought of drowning scares me."

"Hmmm...I'm sure there's a way. We just gotta figure it out." She shrugged again, sighing as her arm started to get tired. "I think this'll be enough, once my tail is fully dry I should change back."

Willie nods and reaches out, turning the water off before grabbing the shower head from Ren, putting it back in it's place. "Well yea, I sure hope there is a way. At the same time I don't. Anyways, sushi should be here any minute, do you need help getting out, or you do you want to wait here while it dries?"

"I'll get out, if I sit in here it might take longer." She smiled to him, she was happy he was here to help. "Hey, thank you for all of this. This really means a lot. You didn't have to come by and help."

"Well.. I insist. Anyways, let me help you out!" He would say and grab her tail, pulling it out of the tub. "Alright, you ready?" Before long there would be a sudden knock at the door. "Oh.. that must be the sushi. Should I.. let her in?"

Ren chuckled and nodded, bracing herself to be pulled out. But there was a knock. "Ah, I mean, sure! Food is here then!"

Willie nodded, heading over to the door. He would open it and motion the girl inside. "Ivory, so nice of you to show up. I see you have the sushi."

"Ah yes Willie. Sad to say I bumped into someone. Told them not to stay right beside the corner and he decided to get mouthy with me. Little shit.." She would say, pushing the cart into the room.

"Well I'm sorry to hear that Ivory.. whatever you do.. don't.. cause a scene please." He would say and head over to the bathroom. "Anyways, Ivory this is Ren, Ren this is Ivory."

"Oh I'm gonna cause a scene. I don't care, little shit wants to curse at me I'll show him a piece of my mind." She pushes the cart to the bathroom, looking into the room to see the Mermaid. Ivory sighs. "Fish eating fish I see. Weird how the world works." She says and turns around to grab the plate of sushi. "Nice to meet you Ren. I don't really see how you get around like that. Surely you hadn't had Willie carry you around. The man is skin and bones.. literally, but just bones." She enters the bathroom and holds the plate of sushi out for Ren to grab.

Ren smiled weakly, it seemed she was already in a weird mood? She wasn't sure. "Ah...n-nice to meet you too. Erm...thank you." She accepted the plate and smiled faintly.

"Ofcourse ofcourse. Well I'm gonna get out of here, go show that guy a piece of my mind." She walks out of the bathroom pushing her cart out. She didn't stay long, and almost immediately left, closing the door behind her.

"No Ivory don't-" Before Willie could finish the door was shut. "Well crap.. oh well.. Ivory will be Ivory." Willie sits back down on the toilet seat and sighs. "Not sure what kind of sushi that is.. you didn't really specify."

"Oh shoot...you're right." She chuckled nervously, looking down at it. "Looks like California roll. Ah...it's a good choice!"

"Ah yes.. I've heard a lot about California rolls. I have heard they are really good. I haven't heard anything about other types of sushi though. Honestly.. I've never even tried sushi before."

"Well...oh. Fuck." She was going to offer him to try but...ah well. "Well hey! When you get a body that'll be the first thing we do together."

Willie lifts his head to look at Ren. "You were gonna share weren't you? Well.. I appreciate it. When I do get my body, we will try sushi. Hopefully I like it. Never really had any raw crab or fish before. Hopefully I like it." He laughs a bit. "Wait.. is it raw?"

"No no. That's sashimi. Sushi has vinegared rice, then with many things in it. See?" She showed him her Cali roll piece. "This particular roll has avocado, crab, and cucumber!"

Willie examines the sushi roll, tilting his head. "But the crab is still raw? I.. don't understand. Is it not the same?"

"The crab is cooked!" She exclaimed happily, popping the piece in her mouth. "Everything with sushi is cooked. The only difference between sushi and sashimi to my knowledge is that they top sushi with raw, edible fish."

"So.. that is sashimi?" He points to the plate of California rolls. "And sushi is raw, edible fish? That's what I'm getting from what you just told me. I'm so confused (literally)."

Ren giggled, shaking her head. "No, it is not since it's not topped with raw fish. All that's in the roll is rice, and what I listed earlier." She smiled, giggling again.

He shakes his head. "So that is sushi?" He points to the plate. "And sashimi is raw fish?" He shakes his head. "Took longer than it should have to figure that out, my brain it just.. wait.. what brain?" He chuckles softly. "Sorry I had a hard time understanding."

Ren snickered and figured to leave it be for now. "It's okay!" She took another piece, sighing gently. "I'll try to eat this quickly so I can get out of this tub."

"No no, take your time. So have you met our Concierge Evi yet?" Willie asks. "If you have I think I have something that might crack you up."

"Ah, no I don't think so." She smiled faintly, rubbing the back of her neck. "You and the woman just now have been the only people I met, besides the owner."

Willie laughs a bit. "Kara is.. yea she is nice. Ivory, well she can be pretty mean, but Evi. Evi is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet. She has.. currently been taking care of Skye. She got shot and fell into the sea." Willie turns away, thinking about what he had heard a couple days ago. "Y- yea. Evi is taking good care of Skye."

"Oh! Well goodness..I hope they're alright. I'd love to meet more people when I'm not half fish." She laughed and smiled warmly, eating her sushi. "I feel like it'll be any moment now."

"They are okay. Yes. Well, we will just sit and wait I guess." Willie taps his feet quietly. "So.. I guess when you turn I'll be on my way?"

"If you want. I know that you likely have much to do." She smiled, and well...as if it was on command, her tail shifted back into her legs while she was mid bite with her sushi. "Oh-"

Willie stands from the toilet and watches as it happens. Almost like magic, all of her scales faded into skin. All of the beautiful colors turning into peach, as her tail formed into her legs. "Oh wow.. well.. I guess that's my sign to leave. You have a wonderful day Ren." He walks out of the bathroom, turning around to stare at her. "You have a wonderful evening Ren." He nods to her, and exits the room.

Ren smiled faintly and waved goodbye, carefully getting up with a sigh. She'd get dressed and rid of the shirt, changing into a hoodie and some leggings. Shortly leaving the room after.
