“i will find you, over and over again, until we can have our time in the sun.”
you wake up, with the same message ringing in your head as always. it’s been louder lately. and with the voice getting louder, the impending feeling of something bad happening gets stronger.
no, not bad. important. very important.
you get up, shake the feeling from your bones, and start your morning routine, to get to the office job that you hate.
as you enter the office, you hear all sorts of office gossip, which isn’t unusual, but the topic of today’s gossip is. whispers of a new employee, a woman, seemingly young, early twenties at oldest some speculated. she was beautiful, everyone said, but already seeming weird, whatever that meant.
you shake it off, rumors always got extruded to far past the truth by the time it got to your floor, so you went on with your day and walked to your desk.
upon finding your desk, you see the new woman everyone had been talking about. she’s placing personal items on her desk, when she turns and the two of you make eye contact.
those eyes, deep and soulful brown, they’re very familiar, like you’ve seen them in a past life.
