The wanderer and the runaway (a western story)
A man in black roamed into town on horseback, he was an ominous and quiet man. He had two irons on his hip, a rifle on his back, and a shotgun stowed away on his horse. The man walked to the saloon who would hitch his horse out front and walk in, everyone would stare at him but resumed their normal activities while the man in black went to the bar to get a shot of whiskey. That’s when a girl would walk up to him and touch his arm and look up at him and say. “You look like you need some company.” The girl said as the man would look at her with a straight face and simply replied. “No thank you.” Then resumed his consumption of alcohol and the girl scoffed walking away to go try another man who probably wanted to have his fun.
Much later in the night the same girl was headed home and was limping from the amount of times she had let a man fuck her no matter how soft or rough, money was money. Until a couple of drunk fat old men came out and grabbed onto her and would be taking her clothes off and she repeatedly said no and tried to get out of their grasp but just as the man had gotten all her clothes off the man in black yelled out. “Hey! Let the woman go, or I'll put a bullet in your heads.” The men laughed and would tell him to get lost but the man in black had enough and pulled out his revolver to shoot every man who had a hold of her leaving one to hold her hostage with a knife. He threatened her life and demanded he drop his gun, the man in black didn’t move, like a shadow, just as he was demanding again he had pulled his head far from the girl the man in black quickly drew his gun to shoot him in the eye. The girl fell and would cower in fear as she would look at all the dead bleeding men and turned to the man in black who was standing tall like the grim reaper but the man would walk up to the girl, taking his coat off to wrap around her naked body and he’d look at her with a gentle smile on his face. “Are you alright?”
