Harper readied herself before work in the bathroom. A lacey short green dress was the right amount of whimsical and Flirty. This was her weekend to work the VIP section at the club and that always pulled great tips. Nothing but a bunch of snooty rich people wanting their booze –time now. Square manicured nails twisted the edges of her hair back to frame her face and keep her messy pile of curls out of the way. Nothing too dramatic, light eyeliner and a shiny chap stick would last her whole shift and she wouldn’t look like one of the poor girls at the end of the night who looked like her face was melting off. Her walk to the cub was quiet. Cool air keeping her alert all the way to the doorman sitting inside the kitchen entrance. “Hey Rick.” She gave a polite wave “VIPs here yet?” Harper walked backwards to watch whether or not he nodded. He was a mute, but Harper had enjoyed getting to know him on her way in. A quick shake of his head no, and Harper dipped her head in thanks. The VIP area Had a bar off to the side where she could stash her jacket and purse. She wandered the shelves checking her stock, then prepped her additives. Full olive tray, orange slices, limes, lemons. There were plenty of small things that could slow down her service… and in turn cost her money. So with what little free time she had, she checked over every detail. Shiny clean booth tables, music on at the right volume, door guy on standby… Ready for her evening to start, she continued busy work behind the bar and checked her phone when she thought she could get away with it.

Not more then a hour Later a man walked in, carrying a velvet box in his hands, his piercing auburn eyes peered around the establishment quickly as if scanning to see what patriots had arrived, his hand clutched the velvet box tightly as if afraid to drop it. He wore a large black cloak the hood resting around his neck, a pair of dark jeans on his trousers his boots crunched across the marble floor as he headed in and walked to the VIP area, the bouncer stop him and request ID which he trembled to do showing it before he was ushered in. He peered in quickly noticing it empty he released a small relieved sigh hoping he had indeed arrived first, he saw the woman behind the bar sorting bits out, making his way over he flashed her a small smile. "Good evening Miss, the names Mr Arison, am I right to assume I am the first to arrive? " @Quinn Fox

“Mr Arison,” She dipped her head as she finished cleaning the glass in hand. “My name’s Harper, and I am lucky enough to work the VIP room tonight.” A polite smile as she looked over his attire. Strange for someone… (anyone these days) to have a cloak. Very Dungeons and Dragons of him. “Can I get you anything while you wait? Any hint’s tips or tricks for the group?” She had perfected customer service smirks. Casual chatting that really lead nowhere. The good bartender and perfect server. Her practiced walk in her heels finished up behind the bar. Deep emerald orbs stealing the appropriate amount of eye contact. Enough to be interested and attentive… not enough to be creepy. His care with the velvet box did not go unnoticed, however, she found people rarely wanted to discuss something held so tightly.

The man shifted nervously on his feet peering behind him occasionally clearly waiting for someone. His attention turned back to the young woman " It's a pleasure to meet you Harper.." he looked around then seeing the thick velvet curtains hung open by a smooth booth " I require these curtains to be closed now, and please may we get a bottle of your finest whiskey on our table, and a bucket with ice in , and two glasses ready for our guest to arrive, and please keep the lights in this area down to a minimal as Mr Aldonold doesn't enjoy alot of lights flashing, Thanks Harper..." he said giving her a small bow before walking into the area, taking the cloak he wore of.allowing it to hang on rhe back of his chest, clad in a long green sleeved shirt he took a seat his hand remained on top of the velvet box as he did. @Quinn Fox

Harper made quick work of the request. Satin sash happy to release the thick velvet curtains. "I'll be right back with the whiskey." She warned him seeing as the view around the VIP section was now blocked. The lights were even easier. A flip of a switch and half shut down. Most people were busy with whatever entertainment they brought with them and didnt care for everyone to get a good look at them. "Annnd your whiskey." She began speaking before opening the curtain as not to startle him. She leaned to set everything center on the table. Stealing glances at the well-dressed interesting character. Not business... There was no flashy suit. Probably not the business of pleasure, because he seemed to be too alert to his velvet box. Not just pleasure. Again... the box and weird cloak. "I'll be stooping in periodically to see if you guys need anything... Other than that. The curtain wont be opened." She flashed a polite smile and atood just inside the curtain a moment in case there were any more instructions.

The man watched as the velvet curtain was closed concealing them from the rest of the place which was exactly what he wanted, the lights softer ..good he needed to keep this man happy after all, it could end disastrously for him otherwise. His fingers tapped on the case before he heard the woman come back smiling up to her. " Thank you dear...I would appreciate it if when me Mr Amdonold arrives we are not bothered to much, we have alot of buisness to take care of ..." ** Not a few minutes later another person arrived, his tall structure almost towering over most other patriots in the establishment, a cold chill rushed over most people then , some of them barely noticed, others rubbed their arms a little bit. His golden hues peered around idly at people there scrunching his nose in disguist, the smell was potent in here tonight, and frankly he wasn't enjoying it. His chizzled features had already captivated a few people who simply stared at him as he walked past, clad in dark tight fitting jeans which clung to his muscular thighs, the shirt he wore beneath the jacket did nothing to conceal the muscular lines of his chest. Walking towards the VIP section he watched the bouncer raise his hand a slight tremor in it.

" I uh...I need some ID..." He asked, his voice trembling with nerves, Magnus tilted his head watching the male with curiosity, a smile pulling at his lips. " Is that so..." he muttered his voice thick like velvet, his hand coming up to take his, clutching his wrist as he prized it away easily, the bouncer took a step back then, Magnus gaze holding his own . " Would you like to try that again?.." Without a second thought the bouncer released the rope Magnus smiling releasing his wrist. " Better..." he basically growled at him before making his way in, his senses caught something else then, something so delicious smelling he paused in his movements. His eyes caught the lady behind the smal VIP bar then, his eyes wasting no time to pull over her frame in that dress, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, well she was postively sexy...and she smelt sweet like ripen fruits, he felt his mouth ache then as his ran his tongue along the gums inside his mouth in a attempt to get his fangs to behave, perhaps he would tempt her to his later....without a word he vanished behind the velvet curtain, the curtain swaying behind him as he went.. @Quinn Fox

Harper maintained her other booths, keeping her eye on the clock. The only reason she'd have to go into their booth was when their ice had melted, or they hit their call button. She tugged down on the hem of her dress after taking larger steps to the rowdy table in the corner. They were the average VIPs. Calling her over 14 times every hour. More champagne... Broke a glass... Need a plate. At least two of the women sitting with them were paid. They were beautiful, but clearly indulging their hosts for the night. The quiet of the odd VIPs held her attention more than she cared to admit. Eventually, Harper straightened herself out and headed over... Curiosity won out. "Waitstaff." She announced herself and stepped just inside the curtain. The only excuse she could come up with was oddly enough... Her job. "I have his order, what can I make for you?" She spoke concisely. Harper trying to gauge how annoyed the other customer was.

" Is that in there?.." Magnus asked his gaze burning into the man who positively shook in his chair his hands stroking over the velvet case nodding towards Magnus. " Yes sir its here...the Salvador family are expecting this, its full of dark magic and Is extremely important, because its such a priceless heirloom the only way the family will allow it to be transported to them is for it to be binded.." Magnus may of responded had his attention not been distracted by that sweet scent that discended inside the booth he was in, before she spoke he knew she was their and when she emerged his gaze fixed onto her, leaning back in the chair. He caught her gaze his lips tugging into a smile , his hand coming to run under his chin, his fingers dancing over the stubble their. " neat whiskey with some ice.." His voice like velvet his eyes scanning down her frame the cool of the room obviously effecting her skin his very observant eyes taking in the small goosebumps that rose on her skin . " Perhaps you could turn the heater up a little to?...No one likes to get a chill..." he teased. @Quinn Fox

Harper was relieved the first customer didn’t seem to mind her stopping in to do her job. It was Magnus that was a little harder to figure out. His interest wasn’t subtle in the slightest. Eyes trailing over her. It was one of the very reasons she wore this dress for the VIP nights. It had long lace sleeves making her pale skin decorative. The short nature of the hem kept it playful even if the neckline was more reserved. His drink order was simple, and the request for the heat to be turned up was interesting. It was warmer in the booths with them sectioned off by heavy fabric. The open spaces were chilly sure, but usually there were minimal complaints. “I’ll be right back with the drink,” She offered her best customer service smile as she scribbled his order down. Harper leaned over the table, her hair falling off her shoulder as she checked the bottle she had brought earlier. It was half gone. Her eyes met Magnus’s for a moment, playful grin. “And I will definitely turn the heat up a bit.” She nodded, stood up straight, and quickly exited the booth. It seemed tense. Maybe it was criminal dealings? They tended to flaunt it…. Well the one that got caught did. She headed back to the bar, making short work of his order, and turning the thermostat up as she passed. “Waitstaff.” She announced herself again and entered, tray first

Magnus watched as the woman leaned over the table, the action causing her to be fairly close to where he was, he could smell that delicious sweetness rolling of her and he couldn't stop the smile that came across his face as she looked at him his eyes falling to her lips before back to her gaze. " You be sure to do that..." he murmured his eyes watching as she vanished once again. He watched Mr Arison then as he pushed the velvet box across the table, his fingers carefully grasping it and opening it up to reveal the piece of jewelry to him. " The binding has already been set in place you simply need to touch it and it will bind its self to you, it won't be able to be unbinded until you take it to the family...don't take to long about it the dark bindings can cause some....undesirable effects after so long.." Magnus frowned then . " Of course it will ...I wouldn't expect the Salvador family to bestow anything less upon me..." he hissed between his teeth, there were always tension between the two families, this valuable artefacts was a peace offering amongst all else, not that Magnus expected it to work...but alas....it had to be done. Suddenly he heard the females voice ring through the room, she entered before he could stop her the jewellery their upon the table for her to see. @Quinn Fox

Harper’s small tray in hand she set Magnus’s drink in front of him. Playful eye contact and a genuine smile she turned to the one other task. Maybe she could catch him on his way out. It wasn’t very often she found someone of interest. The beautiful velvet jewelry box sat dangerously close to the puddle coming off the sweating ice bucket. “Oop.” She swiped up the box and wiped the water. Her hand instantly holding it out toward magnus. “Wouldn’t want this to get wet.” Harper offered a sheepish smile.

Magnus watched as she walked in, her gaze looking at him once again he could see the almost burning interest behind them and that made him smile more...she was interested, well that would simply make this all the more easier now wouldn't it? Momentarily distracted he failed to miss her hand going towards the velvet box. The gasp from across the room alerted him how ever his focus quickly turning to the box . " Don ..." but it was to late, the woman had brushed her hands against the artifact, she would of felt a small tinge of a electric shook. She held the box out, and Magnus looked to it, going to take the artifact the second his hand touched it he hissed and jumped up, a burning sear rushing through the tips of his fingers. " You....you stupid girl! Why did you touch it!! " he hissed loudly at her , before he turned to the other man . " Fix it..." the man looked at him swallowing deeply. " Sir....it can't be fixed...its dark m..." Magnus growled and moved so fast Harper could of very well missed it his hands around his collar lifting him of the floor as if he weighed as little ad a feather. " I told you to fix it!! " The man's eyes were widened as he swallowed again. " I...Sir...it can't its to late...its bound to her.." The man trembled before Magnus dropped him in rage running a hand through his hair he looked to the woman. "Do you have any idea what you've done.." he snarled trying to contain the raging anger inside of him @Quinn Fox

The small jolt nothing more than static in the dry air with all this fabric around. Harper barely noticed it in her attempt to clean the water. The hiss over her shoulder startled her and the box clattered to the table. Wide worried eyes on the pair as she tried to back out, only bumping into the corner of one of the walls. "I." Her mouth clamped shut as he reached for the other man. The unnatural speed of the fight making it hard to wrestle an exit with the privacy fabric. First her heel was stuck on it, then the hook... "No, and I dont want to." Harper muttered, her heel finally finding an exit she tried to slip out as quickly as possible. The booths had privacy... Security was far enough away... This was not where she wanted to find herself... And frankly, she was extremely confused. The jewelry was right in front of him.

No and I don't want to Magnus watched the expression on her face then seeing the confusion and obvious concern for what was going on around her before she made for the exit, he couldn't let her go. He moved quickly to come round to where she was, his gaze staring down to her, his eyes changing color as he focused on her iris . " You need to come back into this room with me, you need to sit down and you need to listen to what I have to say, understand?.." His voice was like velvet again the anger has vanished as he spoke with more purpose, his power of persusian was strong, trying to make it almost impossible for her to deny him. " Let's not make a scene...it wouldn't fair well for anyone.." he whispered down to her, seeing the eyes of a few of the patriots in the establishment. @Quinn Fox

Harper turned in the fabric, a quick and safe exit possible only while they were busy. She practically bounced off Magnus's chest, having never aeen him move. Before nervous shuffled steps could look for security, His rich instruction drew her eye. Oil wells gleaning down to meet her fearful attention with warmth and calm instruction. Harper frowned up at him angrily but her feet complied before she could ask what drugs he was on to think she would stay. A few steps back another mention of others in the bar also made for a resonable argument... She was already caught up in it. Why add people. Her nervous nails tugged at the hum of her dress as she slid into his side of the booth. All the while aching to leave. To call for security. Anything.

Magnus watched the anger flash against her face and he couldn't stop the sheer frustration that dragged against his own features, not only did he now how to deliver this artifact to a rival vampire family in the hopes of bringing peace between the two large and wealthy families, he now had to deal with a female who got her self dragged into it all, a human female at that, could anything else go wrong?. He watched her slip into the booth he remained by the curtains to prevent her from running of turning to the man who now seemed fearful practically shaking in the corner. "There's nothing you can do?." He asked again the sheer anguish in his tone, the male swallowed before shaking his head. " N....no sir...she will have to deliver it to the family, once they have it the bond is broken..." he whispered. Magnus pinched the end of his nose taking a steady breath, trying to regain his composure before he looked to the female studying her for a moment. " Your not going to understand of this but I need you to listen and listen good...." he moved in the leaning over the table to look at her. " This artifact was bound with dark magic, I was supposed to take it somewhere....you touched it and now its bound to you, this artifact has to go to its rightful place to break the bond...you are the only one who can deliver it...like it or not your going to have to come with me....understand?.." His eyes flickered a little , his charming tone and nature would be soothing to her, calming...his ability of persuasion coming out thick into the air as he willed her to listen and do as he said. @Quinn Fox

Worried emerald orbs flit between the two men. Magnus's temper is clearly an issue for the cowering DnD character in the corner. She kept as much distance as possible mind racing. Where was security? How far away was anyone else...? Why did she so readily sit down? The exchange between the two, whatever happened. Magnus was trying to undo it. Hopeful eyes lost a few sparkles as the man across the table stuttered out nothing helpful. Deliver something. Thats fine? Right. Easy enough? It was jewelry. Not drugs or guns. What bond? Her chin shifted back to Magnus as he worked the stress from the bridge of his nose. She'd give him the bond. Hell, she'd wave any cost of the VIP section. Just to get out. Harper had a wonderful grasp of the English language. She wouldn't understand? Of course, she would. this is the same way any freakin video game quest starts. Even as he leans in she can't help but lean forward listening intently. The glint of warmth in his gaze soothed her shaky breathing. Sure? Why not go on some magical quest with the wizard and his plucky sidekick? She couldn't stop herself from nervously giggling. Where there would be worry... Would be fear and a need to do anything else.... She found herself uncontrollably giggling at the idea of the game she had stepped into. "Does that make you the Dungeon master?" Her voice high with amusement as she guestured to Magnus.
