ROLEPLAY HQ - trust-no-one

I was frozen causing my breath to be frozen appearing as if it was steam, the prison that I was incarcerated within was on a frozen moon that moves from point to point over the surface of the ice causing it and then probability that anyone would escape from the prison even if they could get out of the structure that was the way to survive without help. I said within the room that I claim as my own watching out of an opening in the wall down at the frozen water which look like glass shattered into thousands of pieces, but they had been a normal day prisoners killing each other taking territory for food and scraps technology that they left behind. This prison had no guards it was run by the prisons themselves food was grown within the prison medical supplies were dropped off once a month and if there was a riot or some kind of visit from the investigation bureau the droids with activate and take everyone back to their cells forcing a lockdown off all prisoners this rarely happened. as I glanced out over the ice fields I noticed a glint coming down from orbit at closer inspection it was a ship a transport ship I had official markings and light weapons, It was obviously some kind of bureau ship, as the ship got closer I noticed that the systems on the prism had come online the rooms became warmer steam started to rise from the frozen hallways or I started to pour from the drainage tunnels down to the frozen wastes below causing me to frown as I suspected they would be here for me not sure why but I had a feeling that it would end up a mess. as the ship lands on the platform in the security centre the drones come alive and start taking people back to their selves and restraining them with arm restraints holding everyone’s arms up to the collarbones so no one could commit violent acts.

as the drone leaves my room after restraining me I could hear two distinct sets of footprints coming down the hallway towards my room, one large man and one skinny man answer my doorway and stare at me they both seem to have some idea of who I was and what I done they didn’t say a word as they pick me up from my sitting position and started to drag me towards the command centre of the station. About halfway into our walk to the stations interrogation room the guards start talking to each other about who I was about the crimes are committed trying to get a reaction out of me but I don’t buy I stay silent stay calm, it doesn’t take long to reach the interrogation room in which they sit me down or chair and lock my arms to the table at which time they swiftly leave the room where I am told to wait for the interrogator to arrive. @🍂Ken🍂

Kate was nervous, this would be her very first on field mission, integrate someone and get as much information as she could. To say she was nervous was an understatement. Katie normally worked with kids, helping them with foster families, and helping get them to and from their parents houses, she even helped get adoption parents the right classes so they could better care fore their child, but this. this was way out of her experience. Sure she had started training to learn how to start interrogation so she could better educate herself, but this was only her second day of training, and she was being wished away to a prison on the moon. As the ship finally docked, Katie got up gathering her things, making sure she bad everything, quickly putting them in her bag, she quickly moved over to one if the guards, who lead her towards the cell with the person she will be interviewing. She looked around at all the inmates with a worried look. "Do they have to be restrained like that? It seems a bit painful." She asked one of the guards. "Its for our and their protection ma'am, you have a job focus on that " they told her, not looking towards her but straight ahead. Katie sighed and nodded walking. Once they arrived at the cell, she took a deep breath before she walked into the cell. "Goodmorning, um Lucas? Right, I think so, anyways I'm Katherine, but you can call me Katie, I'm going to be asking you dome questions." She said softly starting infront In the man. @the lurky rangers

I watch as a fair skinned woman and a guard enter the room causing me to examine them both, the guard was clearly ex-military as he was a little older and had a few scars from his service, as for the woman’s she was small framed and soft spoken causing me to believe she didn’t really know what to expect. As she speaks I listen to her words and how she speaks this was clearly her first time is such a dangerous place so I look at the guard before answering her “ my names is Lucas, yes I am sure you have read my file and know all about me “ my voice had a well spoken accent and my tone was soft if not a little gruff. While the prison had been locked down the drones where still active and preparing for anti riot gear just incase of a breakout the drones would protect the command centre as long as possible as well as other automated systems that would come online @🍂Ken🍂

Katie hummed softly as she moved into thr room a but more, she sat in a chair across from Lucas as she got said file out of her bag. "Yes well, just because I read your file doesn't mean I can't ask you, your name. It's called respect Mr Lucas." She leaned back in her seat looking at the man with a kind smile. "Alright Mr Lucas. I'm here to find out your story, and get more information about why you are here. Do you think you can do that?" She asked tilting her head slightly. She carefully put one of her legs over the other using her lap as a table. She got a notebook and pen out of her bed getting ready to write. "Now let's start with an easy question. Why are you here? What happened to cause you to get places here ?" She asked couriously.

I look across the table at the woman who had just sat opposite me and I slightly lean back in to the chair, I watch her face and she talks as I was trying to read her intentions before answering. The guard behind me takes his Baton from his belt before swinging it hard in to my side causing me to grunt slightly “ answer the question traitor!” The guard barks at me causing me to sit up straight and then look up at him with a frown. As I go to answer him back I slowly turn my head to face the woman across from me “ now my answers will depend on if you want to hear what that file says or if you want the truth “ as I finish my sentence I clear my throat and then lean back in to the chair once again knowing that the guard was most likely going to strike me again. Elsewhere in the prison a few of the prisoners had gotten loose from their cells and had started to fight with the drones that had been securing them within those cells. These prisoners had managed to gather a few of the weapons the drones had such as Batons, blades and stun rifles, the prison alarms hadn’t been set off as it was a malfunction within the decaying electrical system that was responsible for that task. @🍂Ken🍂

Katie narrowed her eyes at the guards behind the man, she suddenly stood up. "I had warned you all that if you did anything I didn't agree with I would have your names and you would be searching for a new job, give this man a chance to speak do not hit nor abuse your power do we understand ." She suddnelt snapped at the guards. Katie was beyond serious, they asked her to come and ask questions, and she had made it very clear that if something happened that she didn't agree to she would leave and make sure those guards were fired. She continued to glare as she slowly looked towards Lucas again. "My apologies Mr Lucas I am here to listen to your truth, I haven't read your file yet, and I won't until after I talk and speak to you." She said softly "now, we're shall we begin?" @the lurky rangers

I watch the woman again she seemed to be new to this sort of work as most didn’t mind that a guard would beat a prisoner especially one like me. After a few moments a clear my throat again then lean in to the table “ I’ll tell you my truth…. I had served in the human alliance as a marine for years before I was given a black op mission to a planet called kelder’an the mission was simple extract a vip and get them to the human alliance command HQ on our capital….” I pause and then take a deep breath while looking at my restraints with a frown “ I had a seven man team and it wasn’t just humans which was odd at the time, we landed on the planet three days before the incident so that we could learn the terrain and the local resistance movements” I lean back in my chair and then look up at the woman across from me my eyes filled with hurt and anger “ we assaulted a structure known as the barred palace, it was a place they where keeping the vip held away. Once we had cleared the building we had lost three members of the team but we got the vip and escorted her…. Them out of the area to our extraction point where we handed them over to the main force that was waiting to take the vip back off world but when we handed the vip over my team was put down like dogs “ my eyes drop slightly as I remember the brutality of my men being killed “ they shot me three times in the chest and left me for dead… when I woke I was in a hospital bed on board a medical ship taking me to this lovely holiday destination “ I sigh lightly before shaking my head “ the vip was killed by the team who collected them, the team tortured them and worse but I was charged with those crimes. The vip was going to end the war there and then but it took another six years of conflict before the galactic community can’t together and formed the council “ @🍂Ken🍂

Katie nodded softly listening to everything Lucas had said, she couldn't help but feel bad for the other. She wrote down things he told her, making sure she got everything writem down. "Im sorry you had to witness all of that Lucas, no one deserves to watch that." She said looking up at him with sad eyes. She sat up straight keeping the paper on her lap. "If you need a break please let me know, this is going to be a smooth and calming interaction, I want to make sure you stay comfortable and not pushed." She Said with a small smile, wanting to reassure him. "Noe you mentioned there was a team there waiting for you, did you recognize anyone ?" She asked @the lurky rangers
