I'm ready to start whenever you are lol

Pushing her hair behind her ear, Elaine walked into the cramped and crowded bar. She never really went to the bar alone, but she needed to blow off some steam after a stressful day at work. She had a secret. Elaine told everyone she worked at a cafe, that was true, but it wasn't a normal cafe. She worked at a maid cafe, her walking in a maid dress. Calling people master and being cat called ticked her off, of course, she stands up for her co-workers. But when it came to herself, her voice seemed to disappear. After an excessive amount of this at work that day, she went to the bar to have a drink. Ordering one of her favorite drinks, the bartender left to go make her drink. She laid her head on the counter, sighing.

Gaia was in the bar, sitting at the bar, joking with the bartender. As This lady came up, put in her order, and set her head down, Gaia would look over and sarcastically ask, "Bad day?" She then waved at the bartender and ordered another bourbon, no ice. Not many people liked Bourbon, it was a stronger drink after all, but it was Gaia's favorite. Gaia would wait for the bartender to arrive, and look over to the pretty lady, wanting to start conversation.

She glanced over her shoulder to see the woman, she sat up straightening her posture. "Yeah.. pretty shitty." The bartender walked over with their drinks, Elaine took a sip of her Midori Sour, it was fruity and sour, the bitterness that would hit the back of your throat was satisfying to her. How reliving it made her feel.

Gaia took a swig from her Bourbon, then looked over at the lady. She then moved over a seat, so she was now sitting next to her. She looked up, about to start talking, but getting distracted, staring at her. Noting every aspect of her face, and hair. The atmosphere in the bar was relatively calm tonight. Gaia went to this bar every other night. She only drank a few times a week, but she still went to the bar because she liked the atmosphere and the people in it. She had been here so much she could almost name everyone in the bar, at any given night. After a couple minutes she stopped staring and nervously asked, "Sorry, heh... i kinda got distracted... Do you want to talk about it?" and then took another swig from her drink. Gaia didn't like to admit when she thought people were attractive, but anyone within a 5 mile radius could tell Gaia thought that this lady was pretty. "By the way, My name is Gaia, Gaia Astri. May i ask yours?"

As much as Elaine wanted to spill how she hated the uniform, calling people master, feeling fetishized, but she held in her embarrassment and would explain briefly. "I work at a cafe, the uniform is rather revealing, but the pay is amazing. Along with the pay being great, it's very busy over there, and it's mostly because of the uniforms, getting cat-called and ordered around is horrible. I always have to stand up for my co-workers and get yelled at by my boss. But when they do it to me, I feel like I can't speak for myself." Elaine sighed in relief, it felt good to get that off her chest. She took a few more sips of her drink and introduced herself. "I'm Elaine, Elaine Brookes." She smiled.

Gaia would slightly giggle, then take another swig from her drink. She took a few seconds, then she responded. "You, You wouldn't happen to work at the Maid Cafe downtown, would you? If you just so happened to, no hate here! You make good money, more than me, and it takes alot of courage to do that. I'm just curious, I think I might've seen you there before..." She asked, and thought for a second. She wanted to make a joke about it, if of course, she was correct. At the same time She didn't want to seem like a douche, she just thought it was humorous. She cleared her head, and then spoke up and said, "Anywho, I understand that though. I used to do gymnastics, believe it or not, and after every performance, there would be a few people saying stuff like, "bend like that for me" or "i can help you stretch out" or stuff like that. I'd suggest you try to just joke with them. Alot of people want to do stuff like that, until they actually respond to it." She then realized that she probably said too much and wanted to apologize for going on a tangent. "Sorry about that long tangent, Elaine." She was lightly blushing now, as she just embarrassed herself. She tried not to worry about it and instead, she downed the rest of her Bourbon. @Spooky🍬Sugarcube!

(Sorry for the iffy messages, typically write better but my laptop is charging so I'm on my phone, and I'm actually getting somewhat tired lol)

Her face flushed in embarrassment, someone knew her secret! Hearing her explanation, then apology, she rushed her way to speak. "No you're fine! It sounded like you really needed to get that out. And maybe I could try, but even if I try, I can't even make out words. I try to speak but it's as if I'm put on mute." She drank the rest of her Midori Sour, watching the woman chug it all down so fast was surprising. Elaine started to notice Gaia's features, analyzing her like she was the most precious piece at a museum. Her blush grew a little on her face, she had not encountered many woman as attractive as Gaia.

Gaia looked over at the lady. She noticed her blush, and then Said, "For someone who "felt like they're being put on mute", you sure are opening an awful lot to me, haha. I think it may just be your mindset, darling. You're too focused on thinking of it as "a job" and "having to deal with people all day" to actually talk to them. You're talking to me just fine. I know I'm not one of your customers, but if i was, i bet you this conversation would be going alot differently." and she looked back at her, realizing she hadn't finished her drink yet. Gaia would stand up, and then say one more thing, "I'll be right back, I have to go to the bathroom. And it'll give you some time to get that tomato off of your cheeks." She teased, referring to her blush, covering her face. Then she headed towards the restrooms.

"What do you mean go differently?-" She was soon cut off with her last comment before she got up to use the restroom. Elaine cupped her cheeks, feeling the heat coming off her face. She groaned and just finished her drink.

After a couple minutes in the bathroom, and getting distracted for a few seconds while vibing to the music they had playing on the bar speakers, Gaia washed up and headed back. Gaia was more than a little buzzed now, so on her way she would stumble a bit, and almost fully fall over, but she caught herself.

Elaine saw Gaia stumbling around, she knew no one could handle so much alcohol, she walked over and helped Gaia out with walking back to the bar seats. "You must have a high tolerance, I can barely hold myself with the vodka in this drink." Elaine spoke, with a little bit of hiccups through her voice.

Gaia giggled and hiccuped as well, "Y-Yea... come here about every other day... dont drink that often though..." and she sat down. She had almost finished her 3rd tall glass of Bourbon, which was quite alot. She looked around, as well as she could, things were really fuzzy now, things looked like they were moving, even when they weren't, and she felt very bubbly. "Y-You wanna go home..?" She said, not really thinking about the way she worded it, almost sounding as if she was asking the pretty lady if she wanted to come back to her place. She did not realize this, and finished the last few Swigs of her Bourbon, and quietly burped. "Oh... Exc-HICCUP Excuze me..." @Spooky🍬Sugarcube!

@Gaia (@Gaiastri) - jump Elaine laughed at her burp and smiled. "Your excused.. HICCUP" "S-sure.. I don't think we can drive though.. I'ma get a uber.." Elaine went on her phone and messily got an uber pickup, getting Gaia's address and putting it in. She sat down in front of Gaia, still their hands intertwined. Elaine looked down at their hands and chuckled. "T-thats gay.. ahahaa- HICCUP"

Gaia looked up to Elaine, and looked curious, "What is..? You..?" She teased. Gaia laughed and then tested her head on the counter.. She then ordered another water and sighed.

Gaia smiled and zoned out for a second. She had noticed that the bar quieted down. She still heard a few People in the background, but she wasn't paying attention to anyone but Elaine. "Oh no, I'm Pan, b-but really prefer women because th-HICCUP They're hot..." The bartender Set Gaia's water on the counter, it was in a foam cup so she could take it with her. She then handed the bartender 50$ and smiled at him. She looked back over to Elaine and said, "It's on me this time, but you have to p-promise to pay next time... By the way, is the uber here y-yet..?" And started to stand up. She still left her hand on the counter just incase she fell.

Gaia giggled and looked around. She hadn't really thought about it before, but she wasn't going to force Elaine to go with her "O-oh, i wasn't thinking about it... but if you do want to come with me you c-can... of course" and very slowly started to make her way to the front door
