It had been a few days since Austin had proposed the date to his co-worker of a couple months. He had been at this job for so long and here starting there recently just sent a spark of happiness through him. He wanted to go to work just to see her, she was amazing. Perfect smile, perfect eyes, perfect... well everything. He couldn't resist the urge any longer to ask her out. When he did, it took her time to answer back. He had never been one to flounder under a rejection, he would usually take it and move on, but he found himself almost praying that she would not say no. Luckily, she didn't and that would bring their story to today. It had been a long week at the firm, he found himself falling into a hole towards the end of it, but when she agreed to his date on Friday night for Saturday night, he got that extra boost of energy to finish the day, but as they made plans, he would become more excited. Dinner than the park, then maybe something would present itself in the mean time. He prepared a nice button down, blazer, and slacks for the day and he had arrived slightly later than he would normally, but looking at his watch, he was still early. They had planned to meet outside of the place to prevent confusion on who was sitting where, etc, so he would find a bench out front and sit down, waiting until he would see here.

Finally after long toiling week, it was weekend. Weekends were usually boring back when Jules had no one special in her life. Jules always had been that woman who wanted work her ass off and make sure she is always independent in her life in all aspects, but, while she chased this dream of hers, she had to give up on a lots of other dreams which came in her way in this journey. Love waa one of them. But finally, past few weeks have been amazing. Jules have finally allowed herself to go and enjoy her life. It was about time. Today was the date night she promised Austin about. She was nervous about this meeting as she wanted for this to go all perfect because she couldn't dare to think what if it doesn't go the way she had thought and played in her mind a thousand times. Jules quickly got dressed up in her favourite black backless dress which she bought for an old date that never happened. As she got herself in that dress, she couldn't stop but just admire and look at how wonderful that dress looked on her body in the mirror. "I just hope, Austin likes it" She whispered to herself feeling the fabric of the dress as she moved her hands around on it. As planned, she reached to the place and she could see Austin already there before time sitting on a bench outside. She quickly paid the cab fare and got out of the cab adjusting the slit of her dress that went across her leg a little making sure she doesn't give a show to someone who isn't Austin. @Deleted User

Reference for the dress

Austin would look up from the bench to see Jules coming down the sidewalk and his jaw dropped as he looked at her, him mouthing, holy shit... As he would stand to meet her, he would reach out his hand like it was the first time that he ever met her, "I can't believe this is the first time that I am meeting this Jules. Holy moley..." He smiled at her with look in his eyes that meant he was stunned in her, "So, I got a reservation for 5pm, so we are right on time, should we?" He would actually reach out his arm, let her hook onto it as well, if she wanted.

Jules saw Austin standing up from the bench and walking up to her as she got out of the cab. The look on his face was enough to convey he liked the dress. "I'm glad you liked it. But look at you looking so handsome" She said as she took a step back to take a look at his outfit with a wide smile on her face. "Oh I'm glad I'm on time, because I was sort of worried if I'd reach on time or not" She said as she hooked her arm onto with Austin's arm as they walked towards the reception. Jules looked all cool and calm on the outside but there were butterflies in her stomach. This whole thing was making her feel fresh, wanted and excited all at the same time. @Deleted User

"Mike from work told me about this place," he said, trying to make conversation with her to ease both of their fluttering stomachs, "He said if you love Italian, this is the place to go. They have an awesome wine selection as well..." As he would reach the door, he would hook his arm and open the door for her, "Beauty before age," he would say with a giggle. Walking in the resturant was a buzz and it looked like there was not a seat to be found in the building, he would smile as he walked up to the hostess, "Reservation?" She would ask. "Yes, Austin and Jules?" He would have used their first names to make the reservation, smiling over at her, "Ah yes, right this way..." The hostess would guide them to a darker corner of the establishment, looking over it, they were secluded and away from everyone else, it was perfect. He would pull out a seat for her and allow her to sit before he would sit himself and the hostess would leave a menu and wine list.

"Thanks Austin" Jules said as she made herself comfortable on the chair and making sure her dress doesn't get caught under the chair. "I already love this place, not a lot of people around and feels like a private place where we can spend some good time together" She said running her fingers through her brunette hair picking up the menu that was placed in front of her. "So? Let's get done with the order so that waitress doesn't disturb us too much. Shall we?" She said with a chuckle as she started going through the menu page by page @Deleted User

Austin would laugh as he looks over the menu, nodding his head in agreement, "I agree, let's do that... I would love to get some alone time with you tonight." The two were co-workers, cubicle mates, so they knew a lot about each other already, but a lot of it was work stuff, he was interested to learn more about her, her life, and her family. He smiled as he would look down at the menu, quickly deciding what he wanted before placing it on the table and waiting for the waitress to arrive again. He looked over, "Hope the ride over was alright, I can't believe I haven't been to this place, it is so close to work," he said, making small talk before something his mind finally, "Did you mom end up getting that thing done?"
