It was Vivan's first day at the University of New Hampshire. After having recently got out of a bad relationship, fighting his mental struggles he was finally up and ready for a new start. And he somehow believed that it was going to all start here. This time he not only chose his science subjects but also lingered a little onto the artsy side of him and picked out a few drama and dance events too. He was also into it, but never took it up seriously so this was his time. He was wearing his favourite solid black t shirt and a beige jacket paired with his black cargo pants and his new nikes that he got last week as a parent when he got accepted into the uni.

Well, she had finally done it. All the preparing, discussing and packing out of the way and here it was; The University of New Hampshire. Rose held her books close to her chest with her wheeled suitcase next to her and her backpack that was stuffed so full there was no way anything else could fit. Her honey eyes stared up at the massive building as her cheeks started to heat. It was intimidating and without knowing anyone, it was going to be very hard for her. Taking a deep breath and brushing her long, red hair to the side, she grabbed her suitcase with one hand and started to make her way to her dorm room. She watched as people who had been there for a few years watched the freshman, the jocks all consolidated together and the other freshman were wandering around like they were lost. She shook the nerves from her system and made her way to the building she knew was her dorms and headed inside. The walls seemed bland and the people that loitered in the lounge seemed a bit stand-offish. She didn’t blame them, she was clearly a first year and she made no attempt to talk to them either. She forced her way up the stairs and found her room number, pushing the door open to see she hadn’t had a roommate yet. That was a relief. She shoved all of her things on her side of the room and rummaged through her bag to find her schedule. It was the first thing she wanted to do, nevermind the unpacking. Once she found the list, Rose quickly left the room and made her way back outside without socializing with anyone. She wanted to walk to each classroom and make sure she had a good idea of where everything was before Monday when she would have to get everywhere on time.

. As she walked down the sidewalk, she looked up to see someone she did not expect. From the outfit alone she thought it was her best friend from high school, but surely it couldn’t be. He absolutely would’ve told her that he was planning on coming to UNH, but the thought quickly dissipated as she remembered she hadn’t exactly told him either. Folding the sheet of paper idly between her fingers, she slowly approached the man from behind and gently spoke to him. “Vivan?” She would die of embarrassment if she was wrong. At least if it was him she already had one friend. @Deleted User

Vivan had been to the University only once before during the admissions, here he was lurking around, walking down the sidewalk next to the university's dorm block after having left his luggage in his room. He was wondering if he should've chosen a double occupant dorm. But then he quickly got rid of the thought, he liked having his space especially when he doesn't know the people around him. So what his parents chose was probably right for him, his own dorm on campus all just for himself. His father was always happy to support him financially through University and so this luxury was covered for easily with his help. As Vivan stood there looking around at the campus, he heard a voice. A rather familiar one. But his thoughts were sort of blurry. He wondered who knew his name here? Was it someone from the University office? All these thoughts in a fraction of seconds before he abruptly turned around and stuttered, "Ye-Yess? Me?" He wouldn't really have recognised Rose, if it wasn't for her voice and the way she called his name. And then gradually you could see Vivan's face as he realised that it was actually Rose. Yes, it was Rose Matthews! He blurted out "what the- how on Earth- Rose Matthews? The Rose Matthews?" Without a second thought, he jogged up to Rose... "Heyyy, what's going onnnn" He embraced Rose in his arms holding her tightly as he continued talking with his face resting on her shoulder as they held the embrace for as long as they could, "you didn't even tell meeee". He happily swayed along with her, almost picking her up as he pulled her closer before they parted from the embrace and it was all big wide grins after that. "I have actually missed you so much, I can't believe this happened" he says in an excited tone. @🖤Daddy-Shay🖤

When he turned around, there was no mistaking that face. Her eyes creased from her wide smile and when he charged at her, she wrapped her arms around his neck. She felt her heart pound against both of their chests and as she swayed in his arms, she couldn’t be happier. She giggled as he spoke and waited until their embrace was over before she let out a soft exhale and looked at him with wide, bright eyes. “Yeahh… I’m not sure how it never came up. This is amazing! I can’t tell you how happy I am that you are here!” She could think of anything else to say in the moment, stunned for more than a few seconds at how happy she was to have someone she knew at her college. It was then she noticed the paper in her hands. “Oh! What classes do you have?!” She opened up her schedule and offered it to him so he could look over her classes. “It would be great if we had classes together!” @Deleted User

"well it never came up because you stopped texting me ever since exams came up!" Vivan complained as he playfully tugged onto a tuft of Rose's hair to annoy her as he looked through the paper that was handed over. He glanced and knew what classes they had together but wanted to mess around and so said "go on, let's see if you can guess what classes we have together" His eyes glowed with the same old excitement that he's always had whenever Rose was around everyday from when they once used to live in the same neighborhood before she moved away. He abruptly, held her hand and pulled her to walk along with him without saying much, so they could continue a walk through the campus exploring everything on the campus as he had her guess the subjects...

‘Go on, let’s see if you can guess what classes we have together.’ Rose’s shoulders slumped, her head cocked to the side and she looked up at him from under her brow. She opened her mouth to chastise him when he quickly took her hand and pulled her along. Her eyes went wide for a moment at the sudden movement, squeezing his hand tighter until her pace caught up to him. “Vivan! I’m not going to guess our classes, I have no idea! I mean, I don’t even know for sure what classes I have.” Using her free hand, she snatched the schedule back from him and playfully bumped into him every chance she got as they walked down the sidewalk that encircled the campus. “Hmmm… Uhhhh… Lit 101? … OH! Please tell me we have physics together, Viv you know how much I hate when Science and Math get together. I will not pass that class without your brains.” Her eyes never left the sheet unless he pulled her attention to a building she just had to see. She was at a complete loss until she reached the end of her schedule and saw her electives. “Oooooo, do we have theatre together?! That would be fun! Or maybe Abnormal Psychology?!” Her bright eyes looked up at him with wonder as she waited for him to answer. @Deleted User

Vivan loved holding Rose's hand. In a new, unexplored space like his new University, that feeling of having Rose's fingers intertwined with his was something that gave him a sense of security and familiarity. It was nostalgic for him, it wasn't the first time they had held hands as he walked her. They have had similar moments before, like when one night Vivan walked Rose back to her home because she was drunk or that other evening when Vivan pulled Rose to his home's rooftop so they could watch the sunset together.

"Come on! You really think I'd take literature? Can't believe you even guessed that! Don't you remember me making you do my literature assignments in school while I helped you with physics? So yeah, you guessed physics right. How can i not take that." He winks at her mentioning about physics.

As Rose mentioned theatre, Vivan's eyes widened for a second as he looked at Rose... "Theatre!? I didn't know! You took that too? Since when did you get into that stuff. No way, I cannot deal with you being in almost all my classes hahaha" He turns around to playfully bump back into Rose, teasing her about how annoying she can sometimes be while maintaining a soft eye contact as he grins hard

Vivan was right about literature. If he didn’t have to take it, he wouldn’t. When he mentioned the trade they did in high school, her smile exploded onto her face as she started jumping up and down. “WE HAVE PHYSICS?! YAYY! Now you can keep doing my physics homework!” She pulled his arm closer, squeezing it in a hug when he lost his mind about theatre. Her brows rose when he teased her about being in all his classes and her next words were full of sass. “You’ll thank me one day, Viv. I’ll save your ass in one of these classes, I’m sure of it.” She brought her gaze up to look around at all the buildings and she suddenly felt self conscious. She hadn’t been paying attention to anything he pointed out to her, but worse was that she couldn’t pay attention. She walked along side him and cleared her throat before she spoke. “So… what exactly am I looking at here?” @Deleted User

Vivan almost rolled his eyes at Rose for how he knew his fate with her around during Physics lectures. He knew she wasn't going to leave him alone, plus the homework. But he'd never not want that. He's always had that soft corner for her in his heart. Especially this time, this bond between them rekindled in a little different way. Vivan was feeling complete and content in a way that he never felt before? He loved those little things that Rose did unknowingly. From how she grabbed his hand like she has rights to him, to how her eyes were speaking out so much joy and nostalgia just as they always would. He never knew he missed all that until this moment.

He playfully tugged her hair and spoke sarcastically "oh yes, I definitely need your help sometimes"

And as she turned towards him, he smoothly added in - "well, right now exactly, seems like you are looking at me." He grins slightly while looking away as if he was looking around at the campus.

Rose felt a small shiver ran through her body when he played with her hair. He always did things like that and while if she put herself in an outsiders shoes, it might look like nothing, but to her it made her cheeks turn red and always embarrassed the hell out of her. She cleared her throat and asked what he was suppose to be showing her, but when he answered she shook her head at his sarcasm. With a swift roll of her eyes, she crossed her arms and looked at him from under her brows. “Charming as ever, Vivan. You’re suppose to be showing me around, not showing off.” She laughed, turning to look in the direction he was looking. She didn’t see anything worth looking at and turned back to the dorms. “Are you already moved in? I think I’m getting a roommate! I’m so excited to meet her! What about you??” She was practically skipping next to him with excitement as they continued to walk. She noticed a group of people by the front of one of the buildings all dressed like they were going to the beach, but it was likely some kind of party. They were mostly built men or thin women and it made her blush just by looking at them. She turned her gaze then to the dorms, awaiting his answers. @Deleted User

"Well, actually I'm staying alone in my dorm. Dad made it possible with a request letter to the University office and ofcourse the extra costs were taken care of by him. We can go to my dorm now if you want, or you can just come over whenever you want! I know it's going to be half yours now hahaha" Vivan was hoping he'd get to have her with him so they could spend the most time together like they used to at each other's home back in the days. But he pretended like he didn't really care since it was really up to her and he didn't want to seem too clingy or unoccupied to be around her all the time. As he watched her look at the group of people, he mentioned: "Seems like they are going to the beach, we should go see that too sometime soon?" He turns around, walking backwards while talking to her intermittently pacing just a little faster than her so he can keep up with her as he walks backwards while seeming rather eager to know what she wants to do next now that they have all this time to spend together. @🖤Daddy-Shay🖤

She smiled brightly when he mentioned going to his dorm. She held her hands together out in front of her and almost looked like that fifteen year old kid again. “Yeah. I’d love that.” She looked up at him with a sweet look until he said something about the beach. She still seemed excited, her big eyes turning to the group again before looking down at her jeans. “Well, I’d definitely have to change, but yes! Whenever you go next, take me with you!” She chuckled when he spun around to walk backwards in front of her, waiting for him to fall flat on his face. “You know, you’re going to fall… Stahp it!” She grabbed his hand and turned him around, walking back towards his dorm. “Well, show me your dorm and then maybe we can go back to mine so I can change. Then we can go to the beach?” She was extremely coy and while she wasn’t usually with him, she didn’t want to get on his nerves. He brought out the crazy in her and it had been so long that he didn’t want to overwhelm him. @Deleted User
