He stood near the bar, sipping a drink as he surveyed the crowd. He'd been so focused on his school that he has neglected finding a partner over the last few years. The dating scene had been a disaster, especially since the last few dates had been either creepy coworkers, or an over ambitious tiger mom trying to raise her child's grade. Having almost given up hope, a businesses car dropped in his mailbox had caught his attention and led him hear. This wasn't the first he had been inside the establishment, and probably wouldn't be the last either but the idea of a mixer was intriguing.
The'inner beast' theme had made him chuckle, and of course he'd dressed accordingly. A black dress shirt, matched either black slacks and a masquerade mask on the shape of a wolf hanging from his neck. He had meant to play the big bad wolf but instead found himself playing the aloof master of the forest, surrounded by prey that froze under his gaze.
Setting his glass down he turned to order another, catching movement out of the corner of his eye. While not being the only rabbit in the crowd, this little bunny approaching the bar caught his attention. He wasn't sure if it was the way her auburn hair framed her face, or the fact that her outfit left her looking vulnerable yet seductive to his eyes.
