She was sat on a chair, her hands tied behind her back and her ankles secured to the chairs legs. She stared at her captors in anger, breaths coming out in deep but rapid bursts. “Sure you will fetch a good sum on money for us Missy.” One of them said. “You will pay for..” she was interrupted before she could finish her sentence, the man’s beefy hand smacking her across her face. She couldn’t help the cry that left her throat, tasting blood in her mouth. “Shut up.” He warned her.
They had come out of nowhere. It had been such a peaceful day and the next she knew there were screams and blood and murder. Everyone that she had hold dear in the castle had been sliced to pieces, everyone but her. She had been grabbed, knocked unconcious and brought to wherever it was she was now.
“They should have been here by now.” One of the men muttered under his breath. “Sure they will be here soon.” The other one said. The third just turned towards her and kneeled in front of her a grin on his face. “Perhaps you should entertain us while we wait, Missy.” He grinned at her. She could feel her heartbeat picking up as his hand went towards her chest. She spit him in the face. Not even half a second later his hands were back on her, another blow to her face that made her ears ring. “You bitch!”
When the ringing stopped it was a different sound that she heard and she looked back up just in time to see one of them flying into a table. She gasped in shock as swords were drawn. “You have made a grave mistake.” A voice said and she recognized it. Why was he here..?
It was only a matter of seconds before the three men that had towered over her lay on the ground, their blood leaking out of their wounds. Her eyes snapped back to his face as she came over and freed her hands. She winced as the blood flow was suddenly restored and she could feel just how tight they had been around her.
“How..? How did you that?” She just asked in confusion. “They killed everyone..”
