It wasn't very long after the president-elect finally made her self settled into the White House that Samuel Henry had made his way to Washington again as well. He smiled as he entered the offices of the President and saw the hassle and bassle of many a busy intern and office worker helping getting this new President's regime in order. He enjoyed change. Especially in politics, an area where America had quickly become stagnant. He walked to an area where he would know that he would see the President walking to and from along her route between offices.
Stopped by another agent, one he was familiar with, "Come on, Sam, you know you are gonna have to make an appointment with her," the bolstering voice of James Watkins spoke up, "She is not gonna be able to talk to you, and do you really wanna be the first person to bother her after becoming president elect?"
"Oh trust me, Jimmy," Sam said with a million dollar smile, "I know I am not the first person to bother since she won that election, there was probably thousands of people banging down the door to get a talk with her so far."
"No one that I have seen," James said, he was a Secret Service agent that followed her and knew her schedule, "No one really has barked at her, I guess they know she is not to be pushed around like the last couple of Presidents we had around here."
Samuel smiled at that thought, he enjoyed the idea that some of these old vets in the Senate and House were actually scared to approach a strong independent woman. He pushed Jimmy for more answers, "Well, is she busy right now, I would like to test my barking voice," he jabbed for a moment before actually throwing a few fake, playful jabs at Jimmy.
"Ugh, you kill me, Sam," he grabbed the bridge of his nose in frustration, "She is currently in a meeting with her VP, if you give her a few minutes, she might see you for a second."
