As Damian walked to the leader, Adrien's, office was his mind was racing. He couldnt focus on what he was going to say, mostly from being tired right then. How much sleep had he gotten the night before? none, he was too busy thinking about the next day and what he had planned. he was informed that he had to attend a meeting an hour prior to him walking, and he was supposed to be there ten minutes ago... he had planned to talk to the chief of police about a statement he had given, but standing up the chief was a lot less dangerous than standing up his boss, this man could decide if he will breathe in the next hour or not. And Damian would like to keep breathing when he arrives, he knocks. not too light to not be heard, but also not to heavy to disturb the people on the inside

( @Lil Beanz ) Adrian wasn't in a pleasant mood this morning. Having stayed up late cleaning a mess that a recruit had caused. So when he can into his office to hear he had to get a new assistant he was less than pleased. Having chosen someone at random to avoid a long process of finding someone. Adrian groaned when he heard the knock on the door. "Come in," he said gruffly, his tone anything less than pleasant. Pushing some paperwork to the side and lifting his face mask up. (edited)

Damian enters the room, biting the inside of his mouth. he wasnt aware of the promo he had just gotten, so he asks "You wanted to see me, Sir?" he was fighting a yawn as he speaks, and at the end of his sentence it was a bit more clear. he didnt want to seem disrespectful, he had offended a few people before this that way.

Adrian raised an eyebrow at Damian, for a second he was unable to speak. His face remained his usual scowl. He never believed in love at first sight, and he still didn't however something about Damian interested him greatly "Yes sit" he ordered while clearing his throat. For a man who was usually stoic and rude, he was now feeling something else. However, he wouldn't let it show. He leaned back in his chair, looking down his nose at Damian. Crossing his arms over his chest and sighing "You're my assistant now, I don't expect any arguments about it" He looked Damian up and down "You here to make my life easier, and do as I say understand?" an eyebrow raises. not refusal, but more curiousity on why he was being promoted. he says "All due respect, Sir, but my efforts are best made somewhere else. keeping our organization out of the police's view is essential, and no one does my job better. Ive never been an assistant to anyone, so i doubt that I will be satasfactory." for someone who kept his head down, this was an unusual situation. why him? what made him better than the next person to be an assistant? and yet, the leader of their group, he wasnt qualified for the job by no means. he was a highschool dropout, a man who never had any life career outside of this mafia... so simply, why? Adrian did now like being talked back to, he inhaled sharply and looked at Damian dead in his eyes "I thought I said no arguments" His tone was dripping with venom, not being used to people telling him no. Adrian leaned forward, towering over Damian "You can keep the police at bay while your my assistant, that way you can report directly to me" His tone was calm but poisonous, somthing Adrian was very well known for. He knew his actions would scare Damian, but the sadistic part of him wanted to know what would happen if he did. ( @Lil Beanz ) (edited)

A small nod comes from Damian as he says "alright, then. When do I start?" This... was going to be very difficult for him. he sleeps mostly during the day, which is when he does his most work with throwing the cops off, and now he has to be working during the day? if he hadnt already dug himself in with the mafia, he might have considered working night shifts at a graveyard than take on this position. the thought crosses his mind but he quickly dismisses it. he could hear the poison in Adrian's tone, but didnt comment. he knew the boss was dangerous, which is why he didnt press it any further. Adrian smirked at Damien's newfound compliance. "Good" He said sternly leaning back against his chair once again. Raising his hand and dismissing Damian "Go get me a coffee, you start now. Tomorrow show up in professional attire" He said sharply waiting for Damian to walk out of the room. His eyes lingered on him for a long time, studying his features. ( @Lil Beanz )

A small sigh comes from him, and he nods and quickly stands, asking "what do you take in your coffee?" he didnt want to displease him, he just simply wasnt sure. his mind was mentally going through his closet, trying to think about what exactly he would wear.. he would have to pick up professional clothes... which would come out of his bill money, which already wasnt a lot... Adrian leaned over to his phone, grabbing out his card and waving it in Damian's direction "Black, two shots. Get yourself a suit while you are out" He said coldly, he didn't expect him to have clothes to wear so he would humour him just this once. A small part of him wanted to buy a lot of things or Damian, not to show appreciation but to hold over him as a form on manipulation. "Once your done met with the chief of police, tell him that I sorted out the issue we had and make sure you get the payment for the job" He scowled at the thought of the chief of police. Damian nods and leaves the office, memorizing what Adrian had said. In total, he took fourth five minutes, though the coffee was still piping hot like it had just been bought. He had changed already into the suit, though his hair was still as messy as it had been when he had arrived prior. He gives Adrian the coffee and says "Black, two shots. The issue with the chief is solved." As he says this, his phone starts to vibrate in his pocket. He wanted to answer, but he wasn't sure if it was appropriate or not to step out.

Adrian nodded, thanking him silently before taking a drink of his coffee. Resuming some paperwork before hearing Damian's phone go off, he waited for a second to see if he would pick it up. More just to get Damian nervous than anything. "You can answer your phone" He said after a while, the noise from the vibration bringing to annoy him. He gestured for him to leave the room, still not looking up from his paperwork. Once Damian was gone Adrian looked up. Smiling for the first time in a while, somthing about his new assistant interested him and he wanted to see how far he could go. ( @Lil Beanz )

Damian nods, glad he couldanswer it. he goes out into the hallway to answer, and comes back in the room after about ive minutes. this time, he turns his phone off so it wouldnt ring again. he slides it back in his pocket he asks Adrian, "whats next, Sir?" ( @Bunni )

Adrian finally finishes the paperwork he was working on. Getting up and walking over go a file cabinet in the corner "I have a lunch meeting, I expect you to come along with me" He ordered turning to Damian, an idea popping into his head at the moment. He casually walked over to Damian, towering over him. He looked him up and down before sighing. Reaching out and fixing his hair. Usually, he wouldn't care as long as he got the job done however he wanted to get a reaction out of him "The driver will be ready in five, don't be late" He said walking past Damian to a safe. when Adrian fixes his hair, he blushed, but turned away so that it wasnt too clear. he nods and quickly goes back to his room to eat a piece of fruit before meeting Adrian at the car. he was on time, which wasnt too common. he still was really tired, he didnt say anything about it though he was still pretty blushed from Adrian fixing his hair, though if Adrian asks he was just going to blame it on running to his room and back ( @Bunni )

Adrian noticed Damien blushing almost immediately, finding it adorable. Watching him run out of the room while fiddling with the gun. Adrian got to the car before Damian, waiting around for him and using his phone. He was looking into Damien's social media presence. ( @Lil Beanz ) (edited)

he was fairly active, and his older posts were about his family, and more recently things were about things that inspired him and then his sister. from the images of the two of them, she looked much younger than him. the pair of them didnt see each other too much, from the captions of 'missing the best sister' or 'cant wait till i see you again'. Damian got there and checked his watch, which had been his dad's, and sighs, glad he had made it on time. he too gets in, keeping close to the door ( @Bunni )

"Congratulations for being on time" Adrian said putting his phone away in his pocket. His tone slightly more frustrated then before. He motioned for Damien to open the door for him, more or less testing to see if he would get in before or after him. ( @Lil Beanz )

Damian bites his lip and opens the door for Adrian, having seen other people do it for the boss. he was so anxious about making a mistake, which wasnt common for him. when Adrian had goten, he too gets in on the other side, taking a few deep breaths, trying to calm is nerves. of course, being tired doesnt help too much ( @Bunni )

"Good" He praised damian as he opened the door for him. Waiting for him to walk in the other side. Once damian was inside Adrian reached into his pocket and pulled out a handgun and a facemask "The gun is for emergencies only, understood" He warned him giving him a expectant look. Damian nods an would take he gun carefully. he avoided guns, which was why he liked his old position so much. much less fighting. he slides it carefully into his jacket pocket he also takes the mask, planning on putting it on when they arrived, so he gently folds it in his hand, keeping it in his palm. he glances out the window, trying to keep himself awake. he knew it would be bad if he fell asleep ( @Bunni )

Adrian noticed his apprehensive attitude, chuckling quietly at it. The blush from him fixing his hair was still very obvious, he knew he would get a kick out of messing with him "Put the mask on, and don't speak to anyone got it?" He sighed, motioning him go open the door. So they could enter the meeting. ( @Lil Beanz )

"yes, Sir" he says as he puts the mask on, getting out to open the other's door. he was really curious to what the meeting was about, since he normally never got to go, he was alwasy either sleeping or doing other things

Adrian hummed in response, getting out the open door and fixing his suit. He grabbed a pair of gloves from his pocket and put them on while walking into the Wearhouse. Upon entering they were greeted by a older man who worked below Adrian "he is in the back, hasn't said anything yet" he man said motioning for them to follow. They were lead into a room where a man was tied to a chair, his face was bloody and occasionally he would cough up blood. "Hello, Daniel. Damian had followed, and as soon as he sees a bloody man, he paled. his fatigue had turned to panic. he knew their organization was violent... but never had Damian had to witness. he pitied Daniel, though he wasnt sure what put Daniel in this position. he stood off to the side and behind Adrian, so he didnt get in the way. he hoped he didnt have to do anything during this ( @Bunni )

The man tied to the chair looked up at Damian. Chuckling before speaking "Whos the new kid Adrian? what kind of community service do they have you doing now" Adrian did not like the man talking to Damian. Swiftly punching him, very hard. "Back to business shall me" another man passed Damian a razor. "you have one chance, they money you stole where is it?" Adrian said in a low tone leaning over the man. "Go fuck yourself" the man said causing Adrian to sigh. Adrian stood up and motioned for Damian to come towards him. (edited)

Damian flinched the tiniest bit when Daniel got punched, but still stayed silent. when is motioned over, he bites his lip harshly and hesitantly goes over, worried about what Adrian would ask. the possibilities flooded his mind cut him? take Adrian's coat?were the best and worst scenarios that he could think of in microseconds as he stepped closer ( @Bunni )

Adrian waited for Damian to walk over his eyes not leaving the man. once Damian was next to him he leaned close to him and whispered "Once i stop whispering make it sound like i just asked you to do the worst thing imaginable" he said while smirking. As much as he wanted to beat the crap out of this guy phycological manipulation also worked very well. While waiting for him to react Adrian took his coat off and cracked his knuckles. "its going to get messy, make sure you bring the cleaning supplies from the car" he said to Damian ( @Lil Beanz ) (edited)

he sighs the tiniest bit at the whispered instructions, so he knew he had to act like he was told. he says, playing in with a worried tone "Sir... are you sure? I mean, isnt there another way?" he wanted to seem like he didnt agree. his tone would have been actually convincing, since its how he would have reacted. ( @Bunni )

Adrian smiled turning back to Damian "i don't expect you to argue" he turns back to Daniel, the man was trying to act confident but its clear Adrian's method was working . "He already had his last chance to talk and he is pissing me off" Adrian spat coldly. If it was just Adrian speaking Daniel wouldn't have cared but Damian was the icing on the cake. Damian gulps and glances at Daniel with pity, if only he talked. he hesitantly nods and would slowly leave the room, in hopes to give Daniel time to tell Adrian where the money was... he did go get a few cleaning supplies, to make the whole situation realistic. he hoped his act was enough, after all when he had returned, he looked to see how Daniel was acting ( @Bunni )

When Damian returned daniel was in the process of telling him everything he knew, although he was speaking it was clear he did have a few new cuts on him. It appeared that while damian was gone Adrian had had to do some extra convincing to get him to speak. "that wasn't so hard now was it" Adrian smiled crouching down to Daniels level. Daniel looked mortified just from looking at Adrian. Adrian sighed stood up "Kill him, i have what i need. Make it gruesome and painful" he said to the other men in the room looking back down at Daniel who was now crying and begging for forgiveness. "oh i almost forgot" Adrian smiled using the razor to cut his families initials into his cheek, as he walked away he looked back at his men "keep the head, i want to use it for something" he said waving his hand nonchalantly, walking out motioning for damian to follow. Hearing the order when he had walked in gave Damian the chills. but he knew that it was what needed to happen. he goes with Adrian out and opens the door for him to get in the car before going to put the cleaning supplies back in the trunk and then getting in the car himself. he slowly takes the face mask off, and it was clear he was still a bit pale from the whole encounter ( @Bunni )

Adrian looked at Damian noticing that he was pale. What he didn't know was that easily damian could have waited in the car. He wanted Damian to see what happens when you cross him or not do what he asks of you "I hope that serves as a lesson, don't fuck with me. he nods a bit, to not intrupt his phone call. he knew what crossing someone powerful could do. its what happened to his parents and brother (not that organization specific), but its also why he joined this mafia. he needed to keep himself safe, he needed to keep living. he needed to stay on their good side, because when push comes to shove, they defended their own. and they defended those connected to their own that cant defend themselves. he was doing everything he did for his sister so he wouldnt mess up, he wouldnt disobey, he wouldnt make a fuss. because he knew if he did, it would only lead her into a fate similar to his parents and older brother he sits quietly, looking out the window as the car drives. before he knew it, he was asleep, looking out the window

Adrian finished the phone call and put his phone away, turning over to Damian to give him his next orders. Seeing he was asleep he decided to leave him, he would be lying if he was to say he didn't stare at him for a while. Even taking out his phone and taking a photo of him. He would definitely use this to embarrass him. He played around on his phone more. sending the photo of damian to his personal investigator so they would find as much information on him as possible. when the car would have stopped, he would have woke again, the difference in motion waking him. he takes a deep breath, and hoping Adrian hadnt noticed, gets out and opens Adrians door. hopefully not mentioning it would suffice he hides another yawn, taking a deep breath ( @Bunni )

"Morning sunshine" Adrian teased as he stepped out of the car taking his gloves off and passing them to damain. not noticing the still dried blood on them. Going into his study and grabbing some paperwork passing them to Damian as well. "burn these, i don't want any trace of that pest" he said still slightly angry at Daniel ( @Lil Beanz )

Damian had dropped the gloves when he saw the blood on them, but hastily picked them up again and follows. he doesnt comment, but a bit of pink returned to his face when Adrian commented on him being asleep. in the office, he nods and takes the papers, making a mental note to burn them. he would put them in the stack of other things that needed to be burned, which he did every night. lots of papers got passed to him. he asks "Anything else, Sir?" "Should be alright for now, I'm waiting for some information so there isn't much that needs to be done right now" Adrian looked damian up and down again " How far away do you live from here" he questioned "you need to be available for quick calls, if your my assistant you must always be ready" he sighed and opened his phone texting someone before looking up. "i have a room available, You are not required to work 24/7 but i do expect you to come when called" he huffed ( @Lil Beanz )

"uhm, just up the street in the apartment buildings, its just a five minute walk... and I cant move in here, I need a seperate address, im fighting for custody of my sister and CPS would need to be able to inspect the home, its more of a security issue, really. and I cant be available every single day, some days im with her and thats where my focus needs to be, the group home is already thingy about visits, and when its scheduled I cant miss them" he over explains a bit, but it was important to him. he adds "also, would it be a possibility to have cheques written? i can refund them, i just need stubs to show the judge for paperwork, and its literally the last thing I need before I can get her"

Adrian looked him up and down, he was going to argue but decided against it knowing the feeling of struggling with family. "fine, just tell me the day before hand so i know when not to contact you" he sighed "Now that you are working for me things come easier for you, i know a few judges who owe me" he looked up walking over to his mini bar grabbing a glass and offering one to damian "That along with safety issues, lets just say working for me makes you a target, it also makes the people you care about targets. I will tell my men to keep an eye on you and your sister for safety reasons" he explained "whats her name and what does she look like?" ( @Lil Beanz ) (edited)

he nods and says, declining the drink "her name is Dannyelle, and i have a few pictures of her on my phone" he turns it on and opens his gallery, showing Adrian a picture of the two of them. he says "she's nine, ten this August. and our next visit is next wednesday, it was her that called earlier on" ( @Bunni )

"Understood" he said looking at the photos of her "send me the photos, i will make sure nothing happens to her" he said pouring a drink of scotch and downing the whole glass "if you need anything let me know straight away" he mumbled, uncomfortable with having to actually show he cares. "You can go now, i will contact you if needed" he said dismissing him and walking out of the room ( @Lil Beanz )

Damian nods and would walk away, taking a deep breath. he would make his way to the area he did most of his work. while it was true, he did have an apartment, he mostly slept where he worked. it was easier that way. he changed back into his normal clothes and set up a fire in a fireproof bin to burn the papers. he wasnt sure what to do with the gloves, so he figured he would burn those as well. best way to get rid of blood, after all the next few hours, he took a nap. which was most needed since he hadnt slept the night before. when he got up, he had texted (who's number he had gotten from someone else he works with) a few photos of his sister, some of the best ones he had. he definatly loved her a lot ( @Bunni )

When Adrian left the room he wasn't exactly sure were he was goin, opting to walk around the facility to check on the jobs others were doing. After a hour he got a message back from his investigator, they sent over a file with a detailed description of damians entire life. He spent time reading the file, making notes of anything he found interesting or could use. He still wasn't exactly sure why he was doing this. He wasn't thinking he was just acting. once he got the images of damians sister he saved them and sent them away to his bodyguard's in charge of his employs safety. He then texted damian 'Message received, the guards will keep a distance from her. If you catch people with black suits following you dont panic they are there for safety. 'Thanks for the heads up.' he sends back. from there, he went to destroying the evidence he had from others. after that, he had time to kill so he called his sister again, since it wasnt too late by that point. he was simply waiting for Adrian to message him that he needed him ( @Bunni )

Adrian didn't spend the rest of the day doing much. Mostly filling out paperwork and messing around in his study trying to find something to fill time. Eventually he decided he would see what daiman was doing. Getting up and leaving his office, when he had texted him eariler he had added a hidden message into the text that allowed him to look into the location. He changed his clothes to something more discreet and begun to make his way to damian. ( @Lil Beanz ) (edited)

after he had gotten off the phone with his sister, he heads to a grocery store before heading back to his apartment. he lives on the first floor, and makes himself some instant noodles. even though working with the mafia paid well, he still lived like a poor person. he was saving the majority of it for when he got custody of his sister so that she could be well off. Adrian had followed damian to the grocery store, staying a while away from him to keep himself hidden. He followed him all the way home taking note of his address and making sure he knew someone who was able to keep an eye on the exact apartment building. While he was watching him Adrian's phone begun to ran. He angrily picked up listening to his father on the phone. He had to leave soon after having to clean up a mess his brother had made in order to stop a full on gang war. He had never been so angry. On the way there he texted Damian "be at my office in 10 minutes, wear something you can get dirty" ( @Lil Beanz ) (edited)

Damian reacted with a thumbs up and quickly ate his food and jogged to Adrian's office. he didnt bother changing, since he was wearing a casual teeshirt and jeans. he arrives a few minutes more than ten minutes, which he blamed on tripping on the way he knocks on the door, turning his phone off

"Your late" Adrian calls form inside his office. Opening the door, he was in a singlet and pair of jeans. Both his tattoo sleeves where on display and you could see his battle scars. He grabbed a pair of rubber gloves and handed them to damian "hope you didn't eat before this" he joked knowing how gross this was going to be. He motioned for Damian to follow him, walking down a few hallways until he was met with his brother. It was clear he had been drinking "sit" Adrian ordered his brother pointing over at a chair in the corner. The brother did so, defiantly unhappy about it. "don't do what that fucker says he is a psychopath, I've seen him kill a man with a fucking pen" the brother slured his words while talking to damian ( @Lil Beanz )

"My apologies" he says. when he sees his brother, drunk, he bites the inside of his mouth. he wasnt sure what they were going to do. Damian got even more worried when he says he hoped he hadnt eaten anything, since he had literally just finished his bowl of noodles ( @Bunni )

"Adrian your going to corrupt this kid! whatever he owes you ill pay for" the brother yelled at Adrian "he owes me nothing, he is my assistant now shut up before i come over there and shut you up, need i remind you we are here because you fucked up" Adrian spat out, clearly annoyed with the situation. Adrian sighed before turning to his brother "were is the body?" he asked, the brother stood up and lead him down a hallway. When entering the room was a mess, broken bottles and pizza boxes where thrown everywhere. In the center was two male body's, both clearly dead. "im only doing this because i fucking owe you, now we are even got it" adrian scowled turning to his brother and telling him to get some trash bags. "Help me move the bodies, we are disposing of them. once this is over you are not to ever speak of this again got it?" he ordered barely fazed by what was in front of him ( @Lil Beanz ) (edited)

when he sees the mess, he nods and asks "we are just getting rid of the bodies?" he was used to getting rid of evidence, but never bodies... but how different could it be? he asks "and of course, I wont mention it to anyone"

"Well we need to chop them up first, then we need to burn them. I have people who own a morgue so we just have to take the bodies to them." he sighed, pulling out two hunting knifes from the bodies and handing over one to damian. "Cut the arms, head and legs apart" he said casually walking towards one of the bodies and beginning to cut it up. "hurry up now i dont have all day" he said expectantly his brother coming back in the room with the trash bags ( @Lil Beanz )

"o-oh... " he says, hesitantly taking the other knife. as soon as Adrian had started cutting the one body apart, Damian could feel his hastily eaten meal start to rise in his throat. but, he pushes it back down as best as he can as he goes to the other body to start cutting it up. after a few minutes of him doing this, he gags and stands, turning to find somewhere to to vomit, particularly a bathroom or a bucket ( @Bunni )

Adrian looks over and sighs "we brought extra trash bags for a reason" he says pointing over towards his brother. He had already finished with his body going over to damians and cutting up his for him "You need to get use to this, normally i have people to do this for me, but once again. its a favor" he said finishing and walkign over to his brother and grabbing a bags to put the bodies in. he finally calms his stomach a bit, but there wasnt anything else to come up, so he wipes his mouth and goes to get back to work. the sight of it all still made him nausious, but putting the limbs in bags were much easier than cutting them up ( @Bunni )

once they where done adrian took off his gloves getting his phone out of his pocket and calling someone, telling them were to go and what to pick up. After the phone call he looked at his brother "if this happens again im not bailing you out" he said while begining to walk away "I have a shower near my office, go in their and wash he blood off, i will give you spare clothes" he said motioning for him to follow. Damian nods and says "Alright, thanks." He wanted to know why did he owe his brother to have to do something like this, though he didn't ask. It wasn't his place, after all, he was just the assistant ( @Bunni )

Adrian lead him to the shower showing him where to find the extra clothes after he was finished. "Once finished you are right to leave again, leave your clothes here we will take care of then" he huffed taking out his phone and texting someone ( @Lil Beanz) (edited)

He nods and takes the clothes into the bathroom and closes the door behind him. He was in there for about five minutes Once he was done, he got changed in the new clothes, he had balled his old tee shirt and jeans up. Little did he know he left his phone in the jeans. He thinks before he would put them in a small pile on the bathroom counter so that it would be easy to find before he let's himself out of the place and makes his way back to his apartment ( @Bunni )

Adrian had already showered by the time damian finished, when he heard him leave he went to the bathroom and collected his clothes. Feeling something heavy in one of the pockets he grabbed it to see it was Damian's phone. A small smirk crossed his face at the possibilities that the phone held. He put the phone in his pocket and left with the clothes, disposing of them completely. He sat down at his desk trying to open damians phone. Getting stuck on what password he used before it began to ring. His sister was calling.

When he would have answered, a girls voice would say "Hey Damian!" She sounded excited to have had someone pick up, assuming it was Damian ( @Bunni )

Adrian smiled at the girls voice on the other end of the phone "Hello, my apologies this isn't damian. It seems he must have dropped it somewhere. My name is Trevor" he smiled taking a breath in before continuing. " his boss also called and was nearby so I'm about to hand it off to him" his voice was sickly sweet. It was his best attempt at sounding nice ( @Lil Beanz )

Adrian smiles, writing down the name quickly after. He used the name as a passcode to his phone and it unlocked. He spent the next few hours looking through his phone. Looking at all his texts and photos . Writing down any information he could find and copying the photos onto his computer. After finishing he downloaded a invisible app that acted as a tracker. Convincing himself that he was doing this for safety or anything along those lines but in reality he was slowly becoming obsessed. Once he was content with the fact he had searched his phone he put it down, contacting the guards in charge of watching damian for a status update. ( @Lil Beanz )

while searching the phone, in his notepad would have been a few notes about inportant information, like passwords to the majority of his apps, including one or two dating apps. there was important dates on his calender, like the court date for the custody battle over his sister and a few upcoming dates he would pick her up for the day. there was also a date upcoming for a college open house. in his photos, there were standard family pictures from when he was a child, and some of him with his sister, and others with him and another guy. some of the photos showed them kissing each other on the cheek. it was playful and fun, but the way the two of them looked at each other was so loving... but those pictures had timestamps from months ago, and there wasnt any recent photos of the two. his other apps were mostly simple time killing apps and his status was that he was back at his apartment, simply watching some television

Adrian had written down all of the passwords already, what interested him the most were the dating apps. He made sure to look at his bio and currently messages. Making sure nothing was happening with anyone. If he was he made a mental note to make sure he was to busy with him that day. Another thing that interested him was the open house. He took the liberty of deleting the dating apps more out of jealousy than anything else. ( @Lil Beanz )

there was one or two active conversations, where it was friendly flirting. though one was actually kind of serious, the two had actually set up a date. on another note in the notepad was information about a student loan and program courses he was planning on taking at the specific college. a film and photography course aimed at beginners. He had already blocked the person damian had set a date with, Using their profile photo and sending it to some of his men, so they were able to take care of them. He hadn't talked to damian about his salary but he would easily be able to pay for his courses without the loan. Adrian's family had a lot of money that they didn't know what to do with. Adrian was planning to spend more time on damians phone but his own begun to ring. It was his father thanking him for before and wanting to meet up and discuss his brothers behavior. the next day, Damian doesnt arrive intill about suppertime the next day. when he knocked on Adrian's office door, his hair wasnt combed and was messy and he looked like he got dressed in a hurry. he did, since he literally woke up ten minutes ago. he didnt have an alarm, since he didnt have his phone. he was worried about retribution from Adrian ( @Bunni )

Adrian looked up and called for Damian to come in, seeing his appearance and having to hold back a laugh. "Your late, care to tell me why?" he said looking back down at his computer. He already knew the answer but wanted to hear him say it. "You look awful, clean yourself up or did you like it when i fixed your hair" he teased him, hoping to get a reaction out of him ( @Lil Beanz )

he takes a shaky breath and says "I lost my phone and I didnt have an alarm, i culdnt sleep last night and I fell asleep this morning" he tries to hastily fix his hair, trying to comb it through with his fingers. "i do apologise" ( @Bunni )

Adrian hummed in response leaning down and grabbing his phone. "Be more careful with your belongings" he said passing it over to him. He hadn't slept much the night before due to spending time with his father. "get me a coffee, biggest size possible" he said standing up and walking over to damian. In his sleepy haze he was a lot more confident than ever. He grabbed damians tie and pulled it towards him, tightening it in the process "I expect you to come to work dressed appropriately" he smirked his face inches away from damians. tightening his tie made Damian blush deeply. he takes a sharp breath and nods and would go to get the coffee, remembering how he liked his coffee he arrived back in ten minutes, an extra large coffee with two shots in it. he knocks on the door gently before opening the door and going to set the coffee down on Adrian's desk

Adrian thanks him as the finishes somthing on his computer. Taking a sip of his coffee before looking at it "I fucking hate arabica coffee" he mumbled to himself taking another sip. "alright" he would take out the pad of stickey notes he kept in his pocket and pen and would write his bank details down before going to give it to Adrian, not making it right in his face. his writing was small but neat and legible ( @Bunni )

He looks at his bank details and nods. "Apologies for never discussing those things, i was getting a lot of pressure from my father to get a assistant" he sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose "apparently i need someone to rein me in or some bullshit" he complains pushing his hair our of his face. "its no problem, Sir. and for questions, what would my typical hours be? and, do I get any vacation days? if Im planning on going back to school, would hours be alleviated? " he shoots his questions, keeping an education and sister in mind ( @Bunni )

"typical hours are 9am to 5pm weekdays however depending on my schedule it does change. You get vacation days just ask me for the day and tell me the reason. AS for school, you are able to complete course work when i have not allocated you to a assignment. Adrian hummed in response, the tone more flat than usual. His words had angered him slightly but he left it. "fair enough" he sighed tapping away at his keyboard. "Something you will learn is that no matter who you are or who you work for, i have some part in it. Everyone has secrets they would rather not let the public know about and we help them with those secrets. In return they owe us" he said casually. "While working with me you will meet some powerful people, presidents, CEO's just to name a few. Don't let them intimidate you though, none of them are as powerful as you think. he thinks before nodding before saying "thats really interesting... the cops work for you too, I presume?" He was actually curious, from his parents death. he wondered if they had ties to the mafia, too. it wouldnt be unreasonable, after all ( @Bunni )

"yes most cops work under me" he said looking him up and down. "that's why its stupid to cross me, someone tried to come in here with a wire once, lets just say they never left. They are alive, just in a lot of pain" He warned. Smiling as he spoke, it was terrifying how happy the thought of people in pain made him. "I have to test my methods on someone" he wasn't just saying these things for the fun of it, they were a active warning to show damian his place beneath him. he takes a shaky breath and nods. he did seem calm and composed, but he was in fact terrified of this man in front of him. his ease of talking like he does. he says "of course, Sir. " while he was completely unsettled by the danger Adrian posed, he couldnt help but think of the little things, like how Adrian had fixed his hair and his tie, how Adrian had taken an interest in his sister. this is what Damian respected about him ( @Bunni )

Adrian smiled, the fear in damians face made him feel powerful. He loved the look of fear in peoples faces, it has always amused him. "tomorrow i have a meeting with someone, it is a dinner meeting so it begins at 8pm. Meet me here around 7pm to discuss any questions you have, plus i want to make sure you are dressed appropriately" he chuckled looking up at damian "Or do you need me to dress you also?" he teased damian, wanting to see him blush again ( @Lil Beanz )

he rolls his eyes, though not in a disrespectful way, and says as he blushes "I can dress myself fine, dont worry. and alright, Ill be here by seven. and I wont be late again, I can assure you" he didnt want Adrian to be displeased with him, after all he didnt want to end up like David did or the othe guy ( @Bunni )

Adrian chuckled at his dismissiveness deciding to push it further "I don't know about that damian. I don't mind" he said leaning over him and raising an eyebrow at him. "What's wrong damian, your cheeks are very red" he teased lifting his hand and gently brushing his cheek. He loved how embarrassed and helpless he looked.

Adrian's face only got angrier the more he stayed on the phone. "You fucking called me for that" he said venom very obvious in his voice. He sighed before hanging up the phone and turning to damian. "get up we have business" he said coldly almost as if he was a different person than before. He stormed out of the room, still clearly angry mumbling to himself different cusses.

After a short car ride they got to the destination, a house in the wealthy part of town. Adrian didn't wait for damian to open the door, getting out and slamming the door shut. walking straight to the front door and banging on it "Open the Fucking door" he yelled angrily waiting a few seconds for the door to open. The door open and out stepped a lady, she was wearing a expensive dress and looked just as annoyed as adrian. "Were is the rat" he spat @Lil Beanz

Damian too got out, worried about what was going on. when Adrian had mentioned a rat, Damian knew that someone was going to either die or get hurt. The lady lead them through the house towards a basement. Adrian didn't waste any time talking to the others. Walking straight down the stairs to the rat, in the room sat a man in a police vest. He had a few bruises but other than that he was fine. In the basement the goans of other people could be heard. Clearly this was not a good room to be in @Lil Beanz

when Damian sees the man, he instantly tenses up. while this man looked nothing like his father, he couldnt help but picture him in this situation. he whispers to Adrian "Sir, is it a possibility I wait in the car?" the room unsettled him, the eeriness worrying him deeply ( @Bunni )

He looked over to damian, originally he was going to say no. But noticing his uncomfortable expression he softened for a second. "Elizabeth take damian upstairs" he ordered to the lady who opened the door. Elizabeth walked up to Damian and held his hand, leading him back up the stairs and sitting him on there sofa, sitting down next to him "Sorry, Adrian can get a little intense when he is mad" he smiled softly. "I'm Elizabeth, Adrian's sister in law" she smiled. Her presence was completely different than Damian's. She was kind and soft spoken

Elizabeth sighed sadly and looked at damian "Rose was his daughter, she passed five years ago. She was always a sickly child so Adrian got very protective of her. She was the only one who could calm him down when he was mad" he reached over to a coffee table grabbing a family photo. Showing damian and pointing to Adrian. The photo of him was completely different to how he was now. He was smiling genuinely "her death took a lot of of him" she sighed

She sighs really enjoying the conversation with damian. Standing up and walking back down the stairs to see how Adrian was doing @Lil Beanz

Damian goes to the car to wait for Adrian. he just thought about what was happening before he would go on his phone for a few minute to see if he had any new messages, and when he sees that some people had been blocked... he found that odd, but didnt think about it. he simply unblocked the person and had started talking to them again

he takes a deep breath and nods and would call her back. they had short talk, mostly about how her day was. he didnt mention anything about work, but towards the end his face changed from happy to concerned, an he double checks the name she had given him. "Oh that's good" he lied writing a note to damian to tell him that Trevor knew her name. "Say I have an idea, how would you like to spend a holiday with your brother. I have a really cool house with a lot of toys how does that sound" he said, not giving damian the chance to disagree @Lil Beanz

"that would be so fun! Damian and I were gonna go to a movie on wednesday to see a disney movie, can we go then?!" she sounded so excited about that. Damian paled a tiny bit when he read the note, and when Damian hears Adrian offer her a vacation, he knew that she would have agreed. he whispers to Adrian "she has school" ( @Bunni )

"I have a really cool home theatre we can watch all the Disney movies you watch there okay, my treat" he said holding a finger up to him, whispering to damian " would you rather her miss a few days or get hurt. She will be safe with us for a few days" he quickly went back to the conversation with the sister "we will come pick you up now okay, make sure to pack your things" he said passing the phone back to damian. Looking back towards the driver "we need to make a stop on the way"
