And now the new wars were waged on grounds of the smelling smoking powder and the life of a person could be erased in an instant. It was no longer about one's personal skill, but about their luck on the battlefield. A lot of Elves realised that this was their path to take, but not everyone had agreed to this decision, as such they left and decided to live in the woods, where they could stick to their roots. While other elves became more like Humans and decided to live in lavish palaces and castles, that provided safe place to sit and live.

Our story begins with Leaf who was returning home from a battle,where he had achieved a marvellous victory, persuading the mankind that Elves have the right to live as independent race and have their own laws and neutrality. His path to home was however cut short by a surprise attack by human scouts, who decided to play it dirty. In the heat of the battle, which could be more likely called a elfslaughter, Leaf took a path inside the sacred forest, where no modern Elf would step his foot for a good reason. The Elves who chose the path of staying to the roots hated the ones who betrayed their past to be more like humans. However this was a question between life or death, Leaf didn't have any other choice, as all his men were dying and he chose the leap of fate and ran into the forest, where no human dared to step in. This was his chance at survival, and he took it.
