Alexander Wurdulac BOT 09-Nov-21 09:34 AM
"How long has it been.... 20 years by now I think. I've been like this for twenty years by now." Alexander remembers that night quite well, how it all happened. What he did... What they did to him.... It was all a painful and... something he hoped never had happened. Twenty years ago, he was just a young boy. Loving, caring. And all around positive boy, that everyone loved to hang around with. But then the shameful evening came. The church officials had decided that he would be a perfect candidate for becoming a priest. And he was taken away from his parents. From friends and love interests. And pushed into a monestary. Day and night. All things happened over and over again. He was beaten with chain whips. Blood going all around for his light eyes. He was kicked. Cursed at and told to forget about his happy past. Every man of the God must live modest and poor life. And then.... The priest came and took him by the hair, pulled to the bed. And.... Small anger fills his soul, as he remembers the first time when he was raped. The dick going right inside his asshole. Him screaming in pain, crying and holding onto anything to keep him sane. It was all just too much for him to bear. At nights, he would cry and hope that one day, his friends and family would save him. But they did not come. Alexander had taken it up on himself to save his life. During one night, he snuck out of the cathedral and ran all the way back to home. By the morning, he managed to reach his parents house. But all his friends and family turned their backs at him. Threw rocks at him.... They all chanted curses. Even his own mother didn't try to save him. Everyone acted as if he was a stranger... or an enemy.
09:34
And then he heard a screaming in anger voice, that still echoes in his mind. The head priest was together with a few monks, looking with great anger in their eyes on the horsebacks. They were there to take him back... But Alexander did not give up. He ran away to the forest. Inside the forest. He rushed through the ponds and branches. All blody and dirty. He was trying to hide in an opening of a tree. Where he stayed all day. The monks screamed for his name. Called out and said that they forgive him, and that if he comes back, then he will be forgiven. But Alexander did not believe that. He stayed in the forest unti the night came. It was a late autumn, really cold and wet. He was misserable. Hungry and on the verge of death. At that night, a wondering woman arrived, looking at him with a giggling voice. Smiled and said to him many caling words. He did not understand her language, but there was something about her, so welcoming. He reached out for her and before he knew it, she pierced his torso with her arm, barely missing his heart and she started to drink his blood. She then bit his neck, releasing her poison, just for taste and continued her feast, until she was disturbed by a pack of wolves. The wolves made her run away and abandon the body of Alexander. And the poison slowly took over him. As the next evening had struck. He woke up. His heart no longer beating. And his strength being three times the one he once knew.
09:34
He jumped as high as the tree tops would go. He could run as fast as the wolves, if not even faster. He could lift rocks, that weighted three times his own weight. The newfound power was something he felt confident in, and then, he unleashed the wrath on everyone on the village.... and the cathedral was the next. "I remember it all... But it's not something I want to be remembered by...." Alexander said as he snapped out of his memory and then looked at his work table, where he was copying deteriorating manuscripts and looked out of the window. The moonlight was illuminating the area. He knew something was coming tonight. As whenever he has a big challenge ahead of him, he remembers the time, when he was reborn.

The sun had set some time ago, but still, the contingent of armored battle nuns and monks continued their journey toward the city of Bricaster. Bricaster sat on the edge of a river, a harbor there was constantly bustling with traveling merchants, traders, and transients. Sailors often disappeared without a trace - and no one was the wiser, til a sailor had fallen in love with one of the harlots that frequented the river-side. That harlot had developed feelings for the sailor as well; and when he disappeared, it was only logical that something was severely amiss. She had brought the disappearance up to the local authorities who had started a half-hearted investigation. After all, who cared if a sailor disappeared. There were far more important things to do, like accepting bribes to look the other way when a corpse was dug up or someone happened to be dealing in illicit substances or other such contraband. After looking in to the issue, the authorities had discovered that there were more than just a few sailors missing. They drew up to one conclusion: there was a monster in their midst, making people disappear. Whether it was witches, sirens, or selkies, it was anyone's guess. But there was one woman who was instistant that it was Alexander that was behind the disappearances. She had long suspected he was a vampire, after all. He only came out at night, stayed hidden in the library archieves, but when he did emerge, he was gaunt, but hauntingly beautiful - he HAD to be something other-worldly. She had been badgering the magistrate for some time now, until the magistrate had only seen fit to call upon the The Herald of the Divine Spirit. The Herald of the Divine Spirit was the little band of nuns and monks that were travelling by wagon in the dead of this very night, off to see what on earth was causing such a stir in Bricaster.

Looking at the latest notes, he knew that something was up. People had been suspecting him as the killed for all the sailors, even tho, he could tell the actual reason already. There was some kind of illness spreading around the docks. Something that would make people feel extremely sick at the seas and they would feel so uneasy, that they would jump overboard and drown. Most people that had died were drowned. Then they would be bitten by sharks, or all blood was sucked by other sea creatures.... It's fascinating how people would take logical things, and would already say that monsters are attacking them. He thought about it and nodded. It wasn't that uncommon for actual sea creatures or monsters, taking their occasional sacrifice. But he knew that this was not the time for them to act. Most marine creatures would be busy actually having reproduction for new generations. Sitting in his chair, Alexander looked at the calm sea and thought about what is going on. Clearly it wasn't just a coincidence. There have been a few cases that seem to point at a vampire. And he already has been jokingly pronounced as such. Because of his work schedule and how he's busy. However now, some rumours might have gone too far. They are coming to see him.

Aria was having a hard time staying awake, sad to say. She was supposed to be on watch duty, sitting precariously on the corner of the wagon, watching for any sort of bandits, monsters, and other beings of ill-repute. It was quiet, a few nightingales calling in the night, accompanied by an owl. The creak of the wagon wheels and the gentle swaying of the wagon was almost enough to draw her in to slumber. At least until Amos started snoring loudly. He must've rolled on to his back or something. The driver was fast asleep though, letting the mules drag the cart along the well defined path. She cast her gaze up to the star strewn sky and let out a tiny sigh that came out as a puff of steam. She wasn't looking forward to this investigation. She'd had some past trauma involving vampires. Her younger brother had been slain right before her eyes by a cruel and viscous vampire. It had become her life's goal to eradicate the fiends after that. She had quickly joined the monastery that trained The Herald of the Divine Spirit to become ruthless slayers of demons, vampires, and other devilish scum. She had graduated some 5 years ago and had been travelling with this band of monks and nuns ever since. She perked up as they rounded a bend in the thick, pine forest and she could see the city gate lit up ahead. She quickly jostled the driver and began to wake up the others. They'd at least get to sleep in a real bed tonight if the inns had enough room.

There were quite a few people, gathered around the library. Some of them were cries for justice, while others were screaming and begging, chanting words like, 'I beg of you, please tell us that it's not true. You can't be a blood thirsty vampire. It's not true!' Alexander himself was sitting at the table. He just stood there, waited patiently for someone to arrive. He counted every minute. Every moment. If he had a beating heart, he would have it rush really fast. However it was not the case. What actually did beat, was the door. The people were trying to break open the Library's door, get in and bring his body out of there, to be publicly executed. They already had decided that he's an enemy of the people. Alexander decided to dress his best, pulled out a paper, and rolled for himself a cigarette. If there was something he loved to do, then it was smoking. It was sortof calming for him. A rare and expensive commodity. But he could feel the smell and taste of a tabbacco. As time progressed, and the main door, was slowly cracking. He stood up, and slowly walked to the entrance. When they arrived. He would be there, waiting for them.

DS:The company of nuns and monks found themselves in front of the Library after some information from the city guards. That was where they would find the vampire. "Citizens of Bricaster," one of the priests bellowed over the rising din of the crowd. "We have come to put your so-called vampire on trial. If you would, so kindly, make a path and step away from the entrance, we'd be much obliged!" If the crowd refused to part, they would just force their ways through.

The main doors open, and the crown comes right in, looking quite mad while in the center, sure enough, are the priests. "Good evening! How may I be of service?" Alexander takes a few steps forward and looks around the crowd and then tries to understand what is happening. "I know why you all are here.... the rumours Am I correct?" Alexander takes a few deep smokes and then looks at the rather angry mob, that is ready to just jump at him and kill him on spot. "Miss Stella. I was there, healed your daughter. Spent countless days and nights to gather medicine to heal her from the ilness.... Is that something a monster would do?" "And Mister Armstruck. I was there, helped your son learn the art of smithing. Would a monster do that? I don't understand what is the cause of your rumours. I don't understand. Because if it was true. Why would I actually care for all your well being?"

The Misses and Misters in question let out gasps and mumbled quick quips about maybe Alexander wasn't so bad... "But you were seen at the docks when Mr. Elliot of the ship The Fearsome Lass was last seen!! He was out drinking and stumbled in to you! I saw it with my own eyes!" A young thing, probably no more than 16 shouted.

Aria looked over at the frail looking girl. She was dressed in rags, but had a heavy pouch of coins strapped to her belt. It was obvious she'd been paid off to say such things, but by whom? "Sir," she began, clearing her throat to attract attention to herself. She stepped to the front of her contingent, her hands folded neatly in front of her. She was the epitome of sweetness incarnate, with just a hint of an inner hatred of the person standing before her. "With all due respect, we were called here to investigate the case of a vampire as well as the case of many disappearances of sailorfolk. Would you be so kind as to accompany a few of the members of my order so you can be properly questioned about these matters?" She shifted a bit so she could look over her shoulder at the crowd of citizens behind her. "And if you all would be so kind as to line up in an orderly fashion so that you may be questioned as well. Anyone that is in need of rest, we'd like to record your name and address so we can speak with you in the morning. Unfortunately, Mr. Wurdulac, you'll have to be detained a bit longer than the others."

The rest of the team began to fan out to start forcing the crowd to line up or provide their names and addresses so they could be questioned at a later date. Two men, Amos, the monk, and the priest that had addressed the group earlier, moved toward Alexander with a hint of malice in their step. They were not known for reserving judgement until all evidence was presented and Alexander would likely be harmed during the "questioning."

"Mr. Wurdulac, if you have a private area where we can discuss these matters?" The otherwise very serious priest smiled - though it was a facsimile of one. It was eerie on his lined face, as if it was full of spite and malevolence rather than the good will of the Church.

"Let's then go to my cabinet." Alexander knew what they were planning, but he knew that he has to respond to aggression with righteous indignation. Therefore he made his steps slightly faster. Upon opening the door. He took the initiative and placed two chairs in front of his table, and himself, he sat back at his rather comfortable armchair, he uses for his usual work. The gas lamps had ignited the place quite well and made every corner of the room visible. "Please sit down father. I am sure you have just as many questions as do I. I know that time is against us and that most of the time.... Excuse me, but could the girl in the back close the door. These are church affairs, would be a shame if someone would overhear our conversation" Returning back to the papers he looked with a curious gaze on Amos who listened to this whole thing with caution, but Father Michael on the other hand, Alexander could tell that something was up the sleeve. Ahem. "Anyway, this is not the first case, when on a local village a good amount of people had vanished. About 3 months ago, a similar investigation was conducted in the neighbouring village. Many people had talked about how they saw a mysterious figure jump around and kill everyone who was outside after midnight." "Moreover, let's not forget the methods, the boy was questioned, the boy who found the dead body, we remember Father Michael. I think we remember it quite well." Looking with rather menacing gaze, Alexander continued to read the papers that he has gathered.
23:07
"The church report was made public, therefore I think we both know what I am referring to. The boy said that he only found the dead body, and that before he had approached the dead man, he saw some kind of monster, all covered in fur, feast on the body, draining it from all blood that was inside of it." Turning the next page, he read a testimony. "I reached out for the boy and asked a few questions. And he told me about what you had asked him. What you did to get answers to your questions. I start to sometimes question the holy work in your work Father. But it's not my job to judge one." I hold up a glass of whiskey and take a sip while lighting one of the rolled cigarettes. "But regarding all this information, the boy was nearly sentenced to death. The only reason why he was released was because the monster had shown up nearby and tried to get their next victim. The case was closer shortly after as there were no more victims in the village. And from what I can gather, it seems that the monster has arrived here to our small village." He stood up and drank the glass empty. "And if you think that I can be easily manipulated and tortured father." To show the power and strength, he shattered the glass with his bare hands. "I would kindly ask you to have second thoughts about it. I am not someone you push around so easily. We all are sons of God, therefore I say to you truly that you better listen to what I have to say, before you make your conclusions. The poor boy now is thinking that religion is evil, and is loosing faith in the good word of God. We don't want that to happen, do we?"
23:07
With a small calm smile, I sit down back on the chair and then look out the window. Many people are standing in the line and being questioned. This seems to be quite a mess, however Alexander kept a calm expression. He knew that this is not as big of a trouble. Looking back at Father, he felt malice coming his way. But he stood his ground. He would not accept anything, for a few reasons. Actual beating or interaction, would instantly reveal his true self. Therefore he chose the diplomatic approach. "It's important that we all keep calm spirits. And therefore I have told everything I know of. Why people are suspecting me? Maybe because I have a tight scedule day, and that only time I am able to walk sometimes is at night. Well that was before all the attacks happened. Now I am alone in this place. Working on preserving the writings. As you can see my table is full of work. And there's nothing I can do about it."

Alexander's cabinet wasn't as lavishly decorated as one would've expected of a vampire. It was spartan in decoration, but housed a good number of aging volumes, some that may or may not have been on the Church's ban-list. But that wasn't what this inquisition was about, after all. Father Michael and the young Amos took seats in front of Alexander's desk. Aria - begrudgingly - closed the door behind them and basically stood in front of it, as if she were a posted sentinel.

Father Michael BOT 11-Nov-21 09:49 AM
The chair was hard for the older man, his back protested almost immediately. Grimacing in obvious discomfort, he began to give Alexander the benefit of the doubt and listened to him - at least until he accused him of being less-than-holy in his pursuit of justice. The priest remained silent, simmering in growing rage as Alexander continued his list of accusations (which in reality were the truth, but no one should have known about the lengths that he had gone to in order to get a confession from young James). The monster had been caught. But the boy, a beggar and street rat, had been long suspected. Alexander's display of strength, at shattering a glass with his bare hands, was intimidating, to say the least. But Father Michael was not without his own powers. And Amos could easily still him with a Word of Power, if he so demanded it. "What happened to young James is inconsequential to the current investigation," Father Michael began once Alexander had finished speaking. There was definitely a scent of terseness in his tone. He was obviously insulted that his methods had come in to question and that the first assumption that the beggar child had been the culprit of the brutal murders. Though, thinking back on how frail the child had been - and how it easy it had been to break him - it should have been far more obvious. But he'd been crazed after he'd seen the mutilated bodies and heard the recountings from the village's coffin builder. It had almost been not worth putting the body in a box before burying them. Many of the townsfolk had wanted to burn the bodies, as if they were cursed. But they had all been given proper burials.
09:49
"Now, Alexander, I understand your concerns based on the... ahem, facts that you gathered from the other village. Your due diligence will not go unnoticed." He glanced over at the crumbling manuscript he was currently transposing. The man was doing God's work in maintaining these writings, he would definitely have to take that in to account if he were to turn out to be a vampire. "Your show of strength piques my interest though," he began to tactfully dance around the subject of his supernatural ability. Leaded glass should not have fractured so easily. "I am not here to manipulate, nor torture you, good sir, as you have given me no reason to. You haven't been found with any of the bodies. You haven't discovered any sort of foul play. These are simply disappearances that could have been caused by any rhyme or reason." He leaned back in the hard, wooden chair, as if it were comfortable, trying to act as non-chalant as possible. "We are simply trying to gather all the evidence, see all sides of the problem." He glanced to Amos, then back to Alexander. "Do you live in this library?" he asked, hoping to get a tour of the facilities. Hoping to catch him in a lie.

He sat in the chair that was offered, listened to the conversation, but offered nothing to contribute to it. He was keeping an eye on Alexander, trying to find hints of deciet. It was his speciality to use Words of Power to command people to do whatever he wished. Though he tried not to use them so often. It was difficult to know when his affect would hurt someone in the process. He didn't use the Words recklessly. He was new to the contingent, fresh out of the monastary. He wasn't particularly good in a fight, but he was quick on his feet and nimble, at the very least. He continued to watch Alexander as Father Michael spoke, wondering if the gentleman across the desk would give any hints of worry away that might indicate his guilt.

Aria Greaves BOT 11-Nov-21 09:50 AM
Aria remained silent, staring at the man sitting behind the desk. He looked the perfect gentleman. Probably well educated at one of the universities. He didn't reek of manure, so he likely didn't deal with livestock or any sort of farming activities. He was of fair complexion - so he wasn't outside or around a furnace like a blacksmith or tanner might be. He definitely had an eerie sense of beauty about him though. Now, Aria wasn't one to usually comment on the appearance of someone else, much less a man, but he did strike her as being nearly entrancingly beautiful. It put her on guard though. Someone that attractive couldn't be human. He was probably trying to lure under some sort of spell with his beauty so she would be compliant if he were to bite her or curse her or something. If he wasn't a vampire, he could easily be a warlock using a glamor to enhance his appearance to those of the feminine persuasion. Perhaps he was like that witch she heard about that ate men's hearts after luring her in with her beauty. It would only stand to reason, after all, that he would be trying much of the same... But the victims were primarily male as she recalled. Maybe he was a vampire after all. Or a homosexual witch for all she knew. She continued to peer at him, not wanting to make eye contact, but making it quite obvious that she was watching him. Her eyes hadn't even strayed to the expansive collection of books surrounding her. She loved books. Loved the smell of them. She had found solace many nights in the monastery library, eager to be surrounded by the smells of paper, leather, and fluttering tallow candles.
09:50
She wondered in the back of her mind if he was archivest that wasn't under the employ of the Church. It was rather unusual, but not unheard of for a well educated gentleman to work on the conservation of the ancient texts of the realm. They often weren't paid for their work, but they generally came from well-to-do families, so they didn't need to be paid a wage. However, she had never heard of any nobility of his surname. "Wurdulac..." What an odd last name. She wondered about its origin. Her attention was on the man, but her thoughts were not at all on the conversation that was being had before her.

Alexander Wurdulac BOT 11-Nov-21 10:26 AM
Alexander looks reevaluates the entire scene. So from his understanding. Father Michael did get intimidated by the shattering of the glass, but it also made him give extra questions. What should I do. I assume that people most of time remember only the last thing they are told, so before they leave. I must say something, that will make them forget the glass shattering, and keep more attention on that. Just what. "Ah yes, where are my manners. Let me show you the work place and my most recent works. As I do this for the good of those, who are going to read these texts in the future." As Alexander opens the door, that leads out of his cabinet. The hallways are getting empty. However there are a few screams heard from the outside. And some loud voices yelling 'WHERE DID YOU GET THIS GOLD! ANSWER US!' which made Alexander turn to Father and with a calm expression he asked. "Father, your disciples should be more welcoming, when asking for answers. Please settle this case. I trully believe in your good will and as we all are children of the God, that you do know that the man, who's cries we hear now, must be in wrong place or wrong time. He deserves no ill feelings from thy hand."
10:27
Good. This is the chance. Father must oblige as he was criticised before. He even didn't like being told those things from before. Alexander knew what father was thinking. It's not necessarily because he can read minds, but instead, it's his ability to actually read facial expressions. And even now he could tell that Father is being really frustrated, by how Alexander was right about him. Alexander's gaze turned to Amos, who was standing there, quite eager to do something. Alexander could tell that he's desperate to act on his skills. However what those skills are, is not certain. And this small secret, that he didn't know about, made Amos dangerous. Therefore Alexander thought about it a little longer and then said. "Brother Amos, would you go and help that poor soul?"
10:27
If anything this has to be it. Father wouldn't leave me alone with his two disciples, and he wouldn't send the girl out there, as woman don't have as much authority in these areas. Amos is the option to send and reassure the peace. Alexander was holding Father under his thumb. If only he can get rid of the Amos guy, then he might talk his way out of this. Then his gaze turned to the girl. He doesn't even know her name. But there was something unsettling about it. She looked at him with both curiosity, fear, anger, and distress. He couldn't understand what is going on in her mind. So many emotions, that he can't read her mind from them. Alexander could tell that she loved to see the books. Therefore he knew, if she becomes really distracted by something, then Father will remember her childish actions. The childish actions will lead to her being punished at church, and after that, they will forget about me. Right. I've set the dices in place and am ready. I should lead them to the unsorted area, where there are less clean places. But there are a lot of books, that need proper care and restoration. Alright. "Father Michael, I am concerned about these people. We don't want them to remember church, as people who bring fear, instead of love."

He grimaced at the shouting of one of the monks, who was likely roughing up the individual that was protesting that he had gotten the gold from a sale that morning. The lines on his face only seemed to deepen as Alexander continued to insult his control of the situation and even undermined him by suggesting Brother Amos go and take care of the situation. As if he would have some brand new monk go and try to order about the others. He inwardly scoffed. But something had caught his attention. Something he would question later. Alexander had said "your" God. If he was a true believer, if he weren't some evil demonic entitiy, he would have said "our" God, wouldn't he have? He would question him about this later. In the meantime, he had to play nice. "Amos, I will attend to the matter. You and Sister Aria should accompany Mr. Wurdulac on the tour of the facilities." He figured the young monk would be able to handle anything that the vampire could throw at him with just a few Words. If not, Aria would strike the man down in cold blood. He knew of her hatred of vampires. She wouldn't hesitate in this matter. "Please excuse me." He made his way out of the building to go and deal with the issue... The man in question was dressed in rags as well. As if he would be able to get such a sizable amount of gold that was now strewn across the road. "Now, now, Brother Charles. Please give this individual the benefit of the doubt." Though it was evident that Father Michael didn't quite feel that way by the way he was frowning.

He still had the man held up by the neck of the tunic he was wearing. "Father, this man is clearly a spy meant to throw us off of the tracks of the real perpetrator. There's no reason for a beggar like this to have 30 pieces of gold from whatever "sale" he made this morning. Unless he's dealing in dead bodies or making things disappear, he's highly suspect!"

Detain him. That was never a good sign. The poor beggar would be dragged to the local church and locked in a room until he could be properly questioned. And by properly questioned, that usually entailed some form of violence.

Aria had swiftly moved out of the way when Alexander had approached to open the door. It wasn't that she was frightened of him, in fact, quite the opposite. But she didn't like the tumultuous feelings enveloping her body. She remained silent, ever-watching, as the men left the room. She followed, keeping five paces behind them. Frankly, she was surprised that Father Michael chose to deal with the unruly crowd himself. One Word from Amos would have them all cooperating quite nicely. But then again, Father Amos was known for his violence amongst the order. It was no secret that the priest enjoyed brutal interrogations - all in the name of the Church and God, of course. As Amos suggested that Mr. Wurdulac show them around, this seemed to pique her own interest. Since they had been on the road for quite some time, she wasn't used to being indoors any longer. The soft lamp light cast interesting shadows around the room. While she kept her face forward, she looked around the hallway they were in. It wasn't bare, surprisingly. There were lovely tapestries lining the stone walls. Gas lamps lit the way from little alcoves in the stone. This was a well designed, and much-loved place.

Tsk. So Father Michael went to go and deal with situation. This is bad. How could I have done such miscalculation No matter. I have to continue with the act. The situation calls for it, so Alexander was obligated now to show the way. The screams of the poor man, were disturbing, but Alexander thought about what if he was in the place of that man. He didn't want to even imagine it. Not to mention, he would have to fight everyone he cares for by now. He has been a member of this village for about 10 years now. Therefore he felt about everyone very deeply. Something was indeed unsettling however. He hear a noise. Granted, there are a lot of people around here, which caused a lot of noises, but something more unsettling was in his mind. While he was talking in the room, and listening to Father Michael. He heard someone walk around the halls. He thought that all people were pushed out of here. Maybe that was one of church members. "Alright. I understand that the sight outside is quite unsettling, therefore please follow me. As you know, I have gathered a lot of materials, and books, that are on the verge of being destroyed. And it's my job, to give these scriptures, their second life." Walking through the hallway, Alexander listens to the screams and the words of father Michael. He talks about such things, that could make people really feel terror, when seeing him. And the way how he said... "Detain him." It was something that sounded cold blooded. "Brother Amos. As a believer in your God. What is it, that you hold as the utmost value. Honesty? Dignity? Or sprading around the love. It's important to always think about these things. I often think about what my fate would have been, if I was a member of the church. Would I spread love and happiness to the people." Again.. the memories are coming back. I can feel it. Something is going to be wrong. The feeling of my past stats to haunt me once more. Grr just let it go of me.
12:33
"And... it's a hard task, to keep the spirit strong. You must become one full of humble and dignifying being, to represent the good word of God." Alexander opened a door to the unsorted archive, where there are located many of the manuscripts, that are yet to be sorted and cleaned. As well as restored. "Please come in. This is where I keep the most important relics of the past." To light up the room. Alexander took the candle from the hallway and lit up the oil lamps, that would illuminate the entire room. The warming up process for the oil to warm up is slow, but when it is warm enough, it extracts so much light.
12:33
The room was really big, but really dim. Then slowly and surely the small center was getting brighter and brighter. The textures of the books became more visible. By the each passing minute the room became more and more bright, as well as warmer. This process was written in one of the old books, that Alexander had restored. He decided to adapt this method for the unsorted archive, as he would spend a lot of time in this room together with some other archivists, and they would need to see in the dark as well as to keep themselves warm. When it came to Alexander's vision, he could see in the dark. There was never an issue for him to see. However it would often take a bit more than a few minutes to adjust. Otherwise he can't see anything, just like any other mortal human. Unfortunately for him, this was one of the cases, when he had to adjust the night vision, as that would have had given him a chance to avert, what is about to happen. Right as the lights became bright enough. He, brother Amos and the girl, who's name Alexander still doesn't know. All of them were greeted by a figure, sitting on top of a table, looking at them with a playful smile on her face. As soon as Alexander saw the figure, his blood became ice cold. He knew her... He would never forget the face of the girl, who turned him into what he is now.

"Tehe~ So you finally came here. I got really bored and waited for someone to come. There are so many fresh blood carriers out there. But they all are just a bit too much for my taste. You three will do just fine." She stood up and with a playful look threw a book against the door, slamming it shut. "My my... What do we have here. Such delicious heartbeats we have. I don't know with who to start first... Oh?" She stopped as her gaze went to Alexander. She looked with a curious look. Took a deep sniff and then sat down back on the table. Moving left and right leg back and fourth, while holding arms by her side. "Darling!~ Why do you smell just like me?"

"Wait, stand right there. I recognise those eyes. OOO You survived? So you did survive that night. Darling!!!!" She jumped up and ran up to Alexander in lighting speed, hugging him around the neck, then stepped back and looked at the two humans. "Even today, you still struggle with the church huh? My.... Do you have any clue how much trouble did I get because of you? Killing a few people is one thing, just like I did, but what you did, you naughty boy, that's something else. They thought that I was the one, who murdered the church, and all of it's people. As well as the village." She then took a knife and pierced Alexander in the chest, to get a bit of blood spilled. Licking the blood from the knife, her eyes lit in euphoria. "Darling, this is the blood that I remember. You must really be that boy. I was following you before. I remember what kind of sweet boy you were, and what you did. Everyone betrayed you, and they all paid with their blood. I mean, it's not something I would punish you for. Just.... At least let us know who did that and why? GRRRR! And then they think that it's my fault for murdering the village." She cleaned the knife with the tongue and then turned to the girl. "And she, look with what kind of eyes she stares at us. She has a murderer's spirit. What do you say I take care of her. I really long for fighter's blood. And you can take care of the guy. I know a perfect place just for two of us. And you don't have to serve those, who live like that priest. Being an evil being, who uses the word of their God, as if it's a handy tool."

She has said too much, and she's really fast. I look at the two of them. The two humans and think about what to do now. I become tempted. But as soon as I read the emotion of fear into the eyes of the girl, I decide that I have to do something about this. I look at the vampire girl who is getting ready to rip the nun apart, and decide now or never. And I make my choice. The fast shift was barely visible by humans. As Beatrixia was jumping right at the Nun, I took her by her collar, and pulled right back to me, piercing my hand through her chest. Unfortunately I missed her heart, and this just enraged the vampire girl

She says and then breaks Alexander's both legs, the legs will recover in about 5 minutes, but until then, he's immobile. "Good bye. Darling. I hoped that you would be better than that." She says and jumps out of the window.

Amos had nothing to offer to the remark about preserving ancient texts. He didn't exactly care about the preservation of history.

Aria on the other hand was eager to hear more. And was quite put out when he went on to question Brother Amos about his religious and moral beliefs.

"As children of God, it is our utmost responsibility to spread the love of God to the people. However, there are other responsibilities as being part of the clergy. We must maintain the peace of the realm - as is our given jurisdiction from the King himself - hunting down those supernatural creatures that would threaten the lives and livelihoods of the people. We must also be just in our actions in regard to matters like these, where there is a human that is suspected of being a nefarious creature. We do not want to act rashly in matters like these. The blood of an innocent human on our hands would be incorrigible." He looked up to Alexander. He was a little taller than he was. "I would think that since you cherish these texts as you do, you would be able to spread the love our Lord God to anyone." Amos offered him a friendly smile. He didn't seem to suspect anything was amiss so far. "I agree with you though. In order to do the word of God justice, one must be humble, kind, and pious."

Aria had nothing to offer to this line of conversation. She had joined the Church for one reason and one reason only: revenge. She followed the men that were walking side-by-side in silence. She didn't hear anything amiss - but the way that Alexander's body language seemed to change as he spoke about the church, she was certain there was more to his story than met the eye. Something about how he was moving slightly more stiffly indicated he didn't like something about the church. But there could be numerous reasons as to why that was. He could've been flogged as a child for some various sin. He could've run in to a fake priest hawking tokens of the Lord's affection and that had put a sour taste in her mouth. She tried to not think about his backstory. After all, that wasn't relavent to the current accusations or the current situation. Once they were in the room, she stayed behind as usual - as was her place - and gave the men space as the room began to fill with light and warmth. She was mildly fascinated by the fact that he could light a room so quickly, but that fascination quickly turned to ice as her eyes focused on the figure on the table, who was now speaking and what she said had her grabbing the hilt of her sword, ready to strike. 'Blood carriers...' She was definitely a vampire.

As the female vampire swept forward to hug Alexander, mixed feelings ping-ponged quickly through Aria's chest. He was a vampire too? Had she secretly been hoping that all of this was nonsense and she could perhaps stay behind a bit to exam the books? She let out a scoff of anger and ripped her sword from its sheath. But then the vampire was hugging Alexander and... She paused and listened. Alexander had been the one to slaughter an entire congregation as well as its clergy? The ENTIRE village??! She was reeling from the relevation when the vampire turned her gaze on her. She hadn't noticed she was speaking about her at first - and then she realized. She hunkered down, ready to kill the murderous woman. She pushed magic in to her hands to strengthen the blow. Hopefully she could do it in one shot. One shot, or she'd be dead. But then Alexander moved. He was in front of her one moment, grabbing the pale haired vampire the next. Blood, dark and thick, gushed from the wound in her chest. Bile rose in Aria's throat at the sight and wretched scent of decaying blood filled the air. A flash of a second later, she truly wants to vomit as the sound of shattering bones meets her ears. She saw Alexander crumple to the ground, the vampire female jumping out of the window, bidding them farewell. It takes a few more seconds for Aria to react... "Amos! Go alert the Father! NOW!" It's the first time she's spoken, and even though she's shouting, her voice is dulcet and beautiful. She quickly moves to stand over the vampire, keeping the blade of her sword against his neck. "Don't move, vampire." She hissed out the word as if it were the worst of insults. "You will pay for destroying the lives of an entire village."

She stilled her blade. She wanted to hear his story, she found. So she allowed him to back away from her, to lean against that table and begin to weave his tale. She found that most of what he had said about the Church to be truthful. Happiness was forefit if one wasn't afraid of the wrath of God. But then he said one simple word. Sedir. Her brother. He'd been killed right in front of her, by a boy with a sword, some 20 years ago. She'd been young, perhaps 4 at the time. But Sedir had been her idol. He was a knight in shining armor. A champion of the King himself. He worked with the Church in matters like the one that Alexander described. She'd been with him when they'd hung Alexander's family. She didn't remember the wretch that had killed her brother; not his face, at least. She'd just seen a villain, a monster. She was too young to comprehend what was going on, anyway. Her face was still as stone, but tears welled in her eyes, betraying the grief she had long shoved down in to the very bottom of her soul. "You killed my brother," she said quietly. Her voice was distraught, anguished. She'd lowered her sword as he'd spoken, emotion overcoming her as she recalled the devastation. She hadn't been old enough to tell any of the authorities over Sedir's men what had happened. She didn't know what to do other than she had to kill the monster - the vampire, she later found out. As soon as they had returned to the manor where her family lived, she demanded to be sent to the Herald of the Divine Spirit's monetary. It was the only thing she wanted and she threw tantrums, refused meals and drink until her family had relented and sent her away. But here, right in front of her, was the very creature that had stolen her idol from her.
19:14
"You killed Sedir!" she shouted this time as she twisted in anguish for a few moments before raising her sword in to the correct position to lop a sitting man's head from his shoulders. "How could you kill my brother? He was doing what he was told. He wasn't the reason why your family was being hung. It was your fault! You are the reason that your family was hung because you coudln't live a pious life in service of God and the church." The last bit was long rehearsed, it sounded hollow to her own ears. "You didn't have to kill my brother!" She screamed, the agony so raw in her voice that it was going hoarse as she sobbed violently, her body shaking with each sob and hastily drawn in breath. She couldn't think straight. She didn't know what to do. She should end this vile creature's life right here. Right now. But she couldn't make herself move. Her arms quickly grew tired of holding the heavy sword up, but she kept the position, hovering on the precipse of life and death for Alexander Wurdulac.

Therefore he decided to lean over and hug the nun. Bursting himself in tears. This small detail, he tried his best to forget that his little sister was hanged too. But it came back to him. She thrashed against him and his hold. How on Earth had he managed to get up and get his arms around her, even if it was her waist? Her sword clattered to the ground as she beat him about his shoulders, shoved at his head. She didn't try to tell him to let her go. She was too lost in her sobbing to enunciate anything more profound than grunts and sighs. Eventually, she gave up on the struggle to get him to let go of her. He was too strong and she was too overcome with fetid grief that she didn't have the strength to do much herself. She didn't even have the will to call her magic to her hands and force him away with a blast of power.

Alexander adjusted his glasses, looking at Father Michael, who was standing there, ready to do his evil deeds and get all the glory, for being the man, who destroyed the evil beings, that he saw as the monsters who terrorise the people of his land. Alexander could tell what was in his mind clearly, and it was so strongly similar to what he saw twenty years ago. No.... it couldn't have been. It can't be. "I thought that I had killed you! You are the man who ordered the execution of the Eltishan family, didn't you!" With a confirming gaze, Alexander nodded at Father Michael. "Yes, my true name is Eliwood Eltishan. That boy died the day you had ordered to kill his whole family. I remember now. I truly remember everything. I will never forgive you! GRR GRRRR..." A fierce rage filled within Alexander. He looked at Father Michael and from the back of the room, summoned his sword, that would fly to him at lighting speed. "I am coming for you! AAAAA!!" Alexander took the first steps forward, but the floor started to slowly crumble. The building itself has seemed to be caught on fire, due to Alexander's flame. Gruelling years of work seemed to be set ablaze. And some of the monks are starting to cough, due to the smoke, that's in the air. This instantly indicated to Alexander that he has only two choices, kill father Michael, and die all together, or save the girl. He was on the verge of choosing the first, but then as he looked to Aria, he understood that he has to first get out of here. "Father, this building is under fire. Please let's get out of here, and then we can settle our differences. Think about the safety of Aria...." As Alexander said those words, he could read the mind of Father Michael. He realized that this man does not care. He only cares about his own glory. Therefore he mast act fast. He didn't want to do anything that would make more people hurt, but now there was no other way.
04:26
The right side of the room, has a rather thick wall, but if it's broken, the passage to the cabinet can be freed. After that, it's just a matter of seconds to run outside of the building. Another path would be to jump out of the window, just as the Vampire girl did it, but the problem with that is, that the jump is really steep, and it's even possible that Aria might not survive the jump. Even if he would have held her in arms, the shook wave might be just a bit too much. Looking on the other side, is only more of books and mess. He and Aria would get in really big mess there. The church will catch up to them, therefore something else has to be done. Another method would be to go full frontal attack. Extinguish the flame barrier and go right against the people fighting. However his own legs are now fully healed, therefore he might be a bit weak to fight back. A tricky situation. "Aria... I want you to listen carefully. I need you to hold really tight to my body. Just trust me. And if you keep your grip tight, we have a chance to get out of here. Trust me please just this once!" The decision was made. Alexander was going to escape. Not by the window, nor by trying to break the right side of the wall. The church will make it in time to counter them. And they will be set in a face to face combat. The book mess is too huge, therefore he has to take the fourth path. The building was by now fully caught on fire. The manuscripts were set ablaze and the building's integrity was weakening. It wouldn't take too long for the place to collapse. The floor will collapse any moment now, rendering the possibility to escape from the first floor, completely out of question. Which leaves only the last option available. "Aria, get ready, we are going to escape through the roof!"
04:27
Alexander took Aria's sword, and held it together with his own sword, jumped up and using two blades, pierced a hole in the ceiling. As the parts of the wood were falling down, and breaking down the floor, he had a small time frame to bounce off the falling block of ceiling. Using the small momentum, he smashed the roof and created an opening, just enough for the two of them to take their chance at escape. He took Aria by her waist and held her close. Made the jump and below him the floor was crumbling and collapsing on it's own weight. As he jumped, he looked at Father Michael's malicious gaze. He knew that Father won't let the escape be this simple. Both of them are now standing on the top of the 3 story building, looking as the building itself was slowly collapsing. Many wood pieces were cracking and crumbling. He had a small sigh of relief, seeing all monks running out from the building, but this proved another challenge. How do they run away from this place. There was no place to jump to now, as his building was quite remote, compared to the rest of the village. "What should we do now. This is not what I wanted to happen, but we don't have any choice now, do we." Hands Aria her sword and then sheets his own sword on his waist. Adjusts his glasses and thinks about what to do next. "The building is going to fall apart in a few minutes. I don't know what can we do about it now. Just a little bit more time, then I could think of a way to escape." Alexander being a vampire is capable of several magic spells, but most notably, he has the ability to also transform into dragon. This is a well known ability by master Vampires. Something that takes a long time to Master. For Alexander it took 15 years to master.
04:27
Unfortunately, he could make his transformation to work only about after 10 minutes of the initiation. Therefore he was not quite ready to do it. And as the time was running short. He decided against attempting this strategy. Not to mention the fact that Aria might be scared of him.
04:27
The building itself was collapsing now, The ground that they were standing on was falling down. This was the moment he had to do something. He took Aria on his arms and jumped up in the sky. The collapse of the building was rising a huge amounts of dust. Spreading through the field. Alexander landed right in front of the burning ruins of the building, right in front of the mob, that was ready to fight him and Aria. Father Michael's gaze was one with satisfaction, as if he knew that now he has got them in his grasp. Alexander's legs were now again on the verge of breaking. He knew that time is low and he won't make it too far. He just needed a miracle. But this is not a fairy tale, nor a story with happy accidents he thought to himself. He has to fight for himself and his own future. He couldn't move much now, his eye sight was getting worse and his spirit was dying. He had lost way too much blood. Too much to move fast. But he needed some to continue his escape. He knew what he has to do, but he would hate himself for this decision later on. He placed Aria on the ground and bit her neck, just a little, to get a small dose of blood. The feeling was immersive. Her blood was so sweet, he couldn't believe himself about how delicious the blood of this girl was. No wander now that the Vampire girl wanted to drink her blood. He started to get into euphoria, but he realised that he has to gather willpower to stop. With an angry roar, he pulled himself away from her for a moment, then placed a small cloth over her neck, to stop the bleeding, placed her arm on the cloth and took her body in his arms. "I hope you will forgive me for what I've done. But now we must run."
04:27
Holding onto her body, Alexander rushed right through the mob, pushing away anyone who extended their weapons and curses. He deflected most with his body, receiving severe wounds, that would spill out the precious blood, that he needed so badly. However he did not give up. He continued to rush.
04:28
The streets were empty, as everyone was gathered by the church at his library. This provided a perfect opportunity for them to escape. As the mob was running after them, in their screams and curses, Alexander couldn't stop yet. He continued to run, however his pace was getting slower and slower. He was getting so weak. Yet he couldn't take Aria's blood anymore, as he had taken more than he should have. Yet it would be just enough for her to be alive. After a few days the blood would regenerate anyway. Therefore he was not concerned about her life. What he was concerned right now was if they could escape. He didn't know where to go now. He had no other home like Library. Therefore he didn't know where to be headed. He remembered about a small hut, he saw in one of his travels, that was located in the forest. They could rest in the hut until the morning. But from there, he didn't know where should he go. As the two of them reached the end of the village, Alexander looked back, just to see the mob closing in closer and closer. He had to hide and fast. So he just hoped that he can get them lost in the nearby forest. He rushed through the field, feeling his insides burning, his blood thirst growing stronger. Yet he could make it inside the woods. There it was only a matter of time to find the cottage. The Villagers were going to search up the forest. But the hut's location was well hidden, therefore he knew that the place was safe. It took a few minutes of slow paced running, with Aria in his arms, to find the cottage. The small hut, with broken windows and the door, made out of pine wood, looked quite sad and cold, yet it was the best place for them right now. He placed Aria on the ground and looked back. There was no torch seen in a distance. A calming prospect for sure.
04:28
Getting away from the mob was just the start. It was a short term solution. But problems have risen. The situation is even made worse, as now he needs to think of a way to cover himself from the sunlight. He was always indoors, which kept him safe. Yet now he knew that the monks will be out there, looking for them day and night. Meaning if they would stay in the hut, they would be found the next day. But this problem was with a solution. He knew that there is a cloth, that is made to protect the holy people from the sunlight. A crafty church secret to bring vampires to the trial. Perhaps Aria is wearing such clothing now. His mind was full of thoughts. Full of hunger, and full of regret for what happened this evening.

Aria at least had the sense to grab up her sword, despite the fact she as still crying. Naturally Father Michael would assume the worst, just as all the other monks had. Of course they would assume that the woman would fall to the seduction of the vampire. Of course her especially as she went about her duties as a nun without the burn to do so in the name of God. Each act was hollow in that regard. Each death at her own hands was one step closer to her revenge. And her revenge was right there in front of her, firelight drawing stark constrasts of shadow on his face. It looked like he was grimmacing in pain. His shattered legs might not have healed quite yet, she assumed. Perhaps he would need to feed in order to fully heal. The thoughts passed through her mind in rapid succession. She didn't really have time to react as Alexander nearly attacked the Father. She hadn't been paying attention to his speech with Father Michael until she heard her own name. And her heart had dropped in to her stomach as she realized that Father Michael didn't have a care for her in the world. While it had been expected, the reality of it crashed in on her and she felt her blood turn to sludge.

Monks began to move as Alexander's focus flitted about the room. They were attempting to put the fires out where the flames licked at the stone walls. The floor was beginning to give way as flames licked down the joists holding the floor up; the laquer on the wood only feeding the flames.

When he spoke to her, she listened. He was the only one she would listen to in the room as the monks began to raise a cacophony of sound. Some bringing in buckets of water to try to douse the flames, others casting ice magic and failing miserably for any of it to work. The room was fully engulfed with flames, crackling fragments of burning paper floating through the air as the fire raged. She took a moment to note that he was eerily beautiful among this level of destruction. The fire was fitting as she wrapped her arms around his waist, firmly pressing her face in to the fabric of his coat. This was probably going to cause her injury, but she didn't have a choice. The monks wouldn't be able to save her, and she didn't want to die like this. She couldn't help the shrill scream as they jumped. She'd never gone so high in her life and the force of gravity on her stomach caused it to plunge in to the bottom of her abdomen. She clung to Alexander, not wanting to look down. But he'd pushed her away, given her sword back. She sheathed it without a second thought. There was no use trying to use it against him as she finally realized just how high up they were. And then he did the unthinkable - he bit her. Startled at first, she wasn't sure what was going on as his fangs pierced her neck. There wasn't searing pain as she had expected though. No, instead it was akin to pleasure. Better than getting a sweet on your birthday. Better than her own hand between her legs. Her knees began to wobble as she didn't fight him. And then he stopped, roaring loudly. She was frightened of this, but he tended to her, putting a cloth on her the wound.
11:49
She didn't have time to respond, to forgive him or curse him, before they were on the move again. He moved like lightning striking the tallest tree, darting through the mob that had gathered to watch the vampire and the whore nun burn. It's not like she could though. He'd taken so much blood. Her head lolled against his shoulder as he ran. It took every bit of her energy to look up at him, watch the lines of worry crease his face as he began to slow. Why was he slowing down? What was wrong? Her mind was muddled as time began to blur. Forest, trees. She could smell the scent of pines and fragrant night flowers. He'd set her down and she found him in the murk of the world around her. He was bent in thought. She wondered what he was thinking of. What hade just happened? She couldn't remember... She was so tired...

Alexander felt a huge gust of wind run through him. After having rested for about ten minutes, he thought about what to do now. But first order of business was to let Aria rest in bed, relax and have enough sleep, so she wouldn't faint next morning. Alexander approached Aria and took her up in his arms, placing her down onto the bed. Right there, he placed his arms and tucked them inside her coat, going around the shoulders to the back, gently sliding off the coat. As he had taken off her coat, he took his own and placed it on her, to keep her warm during the night. While Aria was sleeping, Alexander looked at the cloak, he inspected it from all the sides and waited to make his test. The morning should come soon. Right now all he did was sit in the dark corner. A small doubt came to his mind, what if the cloak did not work. This would ruin Alexander's only hope to actually save them. The time was running low and the sun was going to set in about 20 minutes. He looked at Aria. Aria was sleeping like a sweet angel. Unfortunately Alexander had long forgotten what it was like to love someone. He only forced himself to do things that he later would regret.
23:41
Alexander stood deep into his thoughts. He was thinking about Aria and the last time he had done anything that would be similar to what he is doing right now. Taking care of someone. He had been void of any feelings, lust or anything remote to this. The very last time ever, when he had felt anything remotely close to a lust was the time he painfully remembers. It was when he was just 3 years into being a vampire. He was young and attractive. Many woman wanted to get his attention. And they did it in many ways. A young and quite pretty girl had approached him. He remembers that she was quite attractive and many young and older man had desperately wanted to get her attention. However she for some reason only was interested in him... "Sigh... I remember now...."

"...yes... after a few weeks I only learned that she was buried, the church was strongly against it, as she had committed suicide." Ever since that incident. He never again wanted to be connected with the opposite sex. He's thirst for blood would always ruin anything that would be related to humans. So he decided that that it's best to just.... Not involve himself. Even the thought of having a sexual intercourse would instantly lead to the memory about the thirst of blood. When Alexander finished reminiscing his past, the light was already shining through the window. This was the time to make his own test, to see if the cloak will cover himself from the light. And his test was successful. He extended his arm, through the window, covered in Aria's cloak and then felt the warmth, but it was mostly absorbed by the Nun's brown cloak, making him safe from the sunlight. The cloak was smaller, than he was, therefore he had to really try his best to fit in on his head and shoulder area. This was a solution, yet a temporary one. As he was partially dressed, but just enough to not be damaged by the sunlight, instead be weakened. He stood up, Took sleeping Aria's body and went outside of the cabin. The path now lead to the nearby village. He had hoped that the message was not sent there yet.
23:44
Alexander took Aria and warped his coat around her, keeping her warm and cosy. She was sleeping and still tired, but so peaceful that he couldn't wake her up. Instead he decided to bring her on his arms. He took the first steps outside of the hut, and the sunlight already had placed it's tool. He had difficulty breathing, the air was stale and hot. But otherwise, he could walk. And so he started his journey through the forest, to see the nearby village, and from there, he planned to reach the Market city, where he can look for a better cloak for himself.

The bed was little more than a moldy straw mattress with an equally moldy fur laid on top. But Aria didn't seem to care all that much - despite the stench of decaying grass underneath her. She had drifted off to sleep before he'd even picked her up. Her cloak was a welcome blanket though and he would find that she would snuggle in to the hazy, herby scent that lingered on it from being around incense so much. Her armor did little for her comfort, but the addition of his cloak as well was perfect and she slept soundly. --- Some time later, she found herself being shifted again and held closely against someone else's body. Vaguely through her dreams, she could hear the crunching of footsteps on fallen, dead leaves. She could smell the forest around them, the deep, earthy scent of the loam, the spice of juniper. She'd never get tired of these scents. But why was she being carried? Hadn't she just been riding in the wagon? As she began to rouse, she began to remember. The library. The vampire. Her blue eyes flicked open, startled, as she recalled what it had felt like to be bitten by the vampire. Her fists balled in discomfort as her head tilted up, following the line of the neck of the person carrying her, finding the sharp jut of his jaw. It was the vampire. She sucked in a breath, trying to still her nerves. What was he doing holding her? Why was he out in the sunlight? Wouldn't that damage him? Why was he carrying her?! "Put me down," she said very quietly, but with an edge of steel she certainly didn't feel in this moment. She was nervous, terrified really, that he would bite her again. She still felt increadibly weak. But she was certain she'd be able to walk on her own two feet.

Alexander was feeling exhaustion from the sun beams that were striking him from the bright sky. His every muscle was twitching and shrinking, from the extended stress, which was accompanied by the stiffness of holding Aria's body in a way that he wouldn't put much discomfort for her to sleep. But Alas, it seems that at some point the sleeping beauty had to wake up, and he was unsure how long has it been, since he took the first steps from the forest hut, as every minute felt like a burden on his shoulders, endless and agonising. As the girl had woken up, he obliged and placed her on the ground, in a cobblestone covered road, that lead to a city, seen far off in the distance. Alexander felt an urge to lay down on the ground and embrace it for the sleep, that he desired. He leaned down on his knees, pressing against the hard rocks of the road and took a series of breaths, that would be followed by several spits of blood on the pebbles, that covered the road, and kept it sturdy for carriages to pass on them. "I am... coming.. just." The bright sunbeam was strongest during the mid day, making him exhausted and on the brink of burning from the inside, as the nun's cape was not perfect enough for the task of moving forward. And now once he had sat down on the road, he was unable to stand up anymore. "You can go, I'll.... catch you up."

She dusted herself off curtly after she was set down, and a deep frown carved lines in to her otherwise soft face. He'd been kind enough to take her with him when he'd fled. So, he'd saved her from death. Even though he had drained her life's blood from her body - the wound still smarted a bit - she owed it to him to at least get him somewhere safe. "Why are we walking along the road?" she asked him, ignoring his pleas for her to go on ahead. She surveyed their surroundings. The road was well maintained, save for a few stray weeds growing between the cobbles. She hadn't noticed him spitting up blood. Not just yet at least. She took in their surroundings, using her palm to shade her gaze. They were surrounded by farmland, golden grain swaying in the sunlight and steady breeze. In the distance was a line of forest. Why the hell hadn't he stuck to that? She leaned down to check on him once she'd decided they were headed for the trees. It was then she noticed the blood. Her eyes widened in alarm. Why was he spitting up blood? That surely wasn't a good sign. "Vampire, are you okay?" she asked, trying to tone down the disdain in her voice and make it soft and comforting.

Once the girl took his arm and placed it over her shoulder, he felt something that he hadn't felt in forever. A feeling that he had long forgotten about. It's the feeling of someone taking care of you. Up to this point all the feelings he knew of were about working your own way to the top. To fight for your own life, as nobody else will be there to take care of you, as well as to fight yourself, your inner weakness is also your biggest strength. And if you don't stand up... nobody will help you to stand up. Those were the sole truths about what it's like to live as a vampire.... or to live a life at all. But this small act of kindness had changed things quite a bit for him. Alexander looked at Aria, who was pulling him to the nearest safest place, which was the city itself. Once they would get there, Alexander could lay on her shoulder and relax a little bit. It was really nice feeling to have, as he could move easier, despite feeling really bad himself. "When we get to the city, I want you to look for a cape, made of the material, that this cape of yours is made. It's made of an ancient cloth that shields vampires from the sunlight. That is why I am still alive. That is the reason why I took it away from you." The remark about him being stupid and walking through the road was rather funny to him. It's been such a long time since someone called him silly or stupid and it reignited the long lost flame of being friendly. He was cold hearten and lonely, yet this was a really nice change to things that were to come. "When it comes to the road, I had no other choice you see. If we were to walk through the ground or anything else. It would cause suspicion from them. But this way, we seem to be a random couple walking to the city. So there's no harm in that one... is there?" Alexander chuckled as they both took their steps and continued their walk. ------------In the meantime, in a far away place.....--------------

Sierra, the young looking vampire was listening curiously to him now, mainly because she was curious about what had happened to him before they met. As it turns out Sierra was the very vampire that had turned Michael into a vampire. "Well I knew that this day might come sooner or later. I remember that time well, so I am not really afraid to share my experience with all of you. But still I didn't want to do that, for a single reason. I didn't want anyone here to feel bad or think of me differently than they do right now." He took a glass full of blood and drank some of it while looking at the vampires sitting silently around him. Sebastian BOT 28-Nov-21 10:38 AM
Sebastian is a vampire known for his charm and calmness. A long standing member of the vampire family, which upholds the unity of the last surviving vampires. They all are there to uphold the stability of their kind. Sebastian is most often credited for killing off anyone who might get some power hungry ideas and rise an army of newborn vampires and kill the entire humanity, or to enslave them and become the new rulers. To him the most important task is to always keep their identity in secret as well as to keep the entire population of vampires under control. Most vampires that are part of the family had agreed upon a codex, that states that only a few exclusive situations allow there to be a new vampire in the family. Most of the rules consist of the person to be worthy of the title, as well as to be understanding of his power and responsibilities. Being a vampire is not just a gift, it's also a responsibility. One that forces them to keep themselves tame. Sebastian sat down at the chair and looked at the elderly vampire with a huge respect, as he was the one who in that fateful morning came up to him and asked to change the ways of life. Up to that point, Sebastian was a vampire who was so thirsty and without borders, that he might have had lost his own sanity at some point. But instead of killing him, Michael had spared his life and gave him a second life so to speak... some might say the third life.

Next to Sebastian sat a young girl named Trixy. She is the sister of Beatrixia. Right as Michael was about to tell his story, she took Beatrixia by her waist and pulled her besides herself. Both sisters were powerful duo. One would cover up for the other's mishaps. While Beatrixia would most often take care of hunting,or other related activities that would be considered somewhat simple for any vampire, for Trixy these activities were difficult. But when there was a need for a modest lady and a silver tongue, there you had Trixy. She could convince everyone to be calm... or be nice to her. While Beatrixia would most often just cause trouble

Beatrixia sat down to her older sister. She always loved her sister and you just couldn't imagine a scene where the two of them wouldn't be together. Only except the times when Beatrixia went for a hunt. She was sitting right there excited to listen to the old vampire's tale. But at the same time she remembered the discussion that she had together with the old man. It was the time, when she had returned back home, from an unsuccessful hunt and talked about a boy that she had seen and nearly had killed, but who survived. She told it all to Michael who then thought that it could quite possibly be his grandson so he asked her to not chase after the boy but leave it to him. After a few months of countless searches and tons of blames she got from all members of the vampire family. Michael had a serious talk with her. Michael had asked her to go on and if she ever finds his grandson, to please be kind to the boy and bring him back to everyone. As the boy is the very last family that the old vampire, or Michael had. She was grateful to Michael for all he had done for her and her sister, so she felt obligated. Yet she still loved the old man and his stories. So she sat down and waited... patiently

Next to the sisters, sat a calm boy, named Yuki. He is a rather young vampire for the time. It's been about 3 years since he had became a vampire, yet he is a really well mannered and calm boy. Most vampires his age would still be active and would rush around, play with their powers and would not sleep day and night. But Yuki was different. He was rather calm liken a sleeping child at the times. Some other times he would just stand outside and look at others doing their things. Yuki never had caused any trouble or anything. He just stood on the side and observed the entire situation. He got his rather nice pleasure from just doing that... observing.

And finally there was Sierra sitting on a really soft chair, rolling her twin-tails in her fingers and listening to Michael. She is the oldest vampire around the family, some might say that she's the founder of the entire family that keeps the vampires in check that nobody does anything silly in here. She's the most modest and kindest girl that is known around here. But she has seen so much things around that she wanted to make some changes, which is why she upholds the ideas of keeping vampires in check, as well as she's feeling bored most of the time. Due to that, she's listening to the lates developments of the search of Michael's grandson with full interest. After all she is longing for a partner. And if anyone would be worth of that title, in her mind it would be Alexander. Because he has survived 15 years now. And he hasn't done anything evil to the people around. Such a man of such boundaries and strength is worthy of being her partner for eternity.

Michale took a deep breath and waited for everyone to take their seats. he knew that now it's a grand story time so he was prepared. He smiled at everyone and then took one of the cigarettes out of his pocket and lit it on fire. If there's something that runs through the blood of Wurdulac family, it would be smoking, for sure. "Alright. Where do I start? It was about 40 years ago now. It was a cold winter and there was no food for the whole family. The winters were the hardest to survive, therefore I felt as the responsible one for my son and my grandchild, that I best remove myself from their worries. That was quite the common practice among those who are living in that time in Europe. I knew that my time is coming up, and as it was a winter day, I thought that I might just go to the side of the forest and die there from the cold weather. I would freeze to death and it would an easy death. That's something my grandfather once did, and I remember how much I cried the following days when I didn't see my beloved granddad. But he did that and I knew that when my time had come, that I have to do the exact same thing. All for my beloved people."
10:40
"What I did was just sit there and wait for my death. It was a really nice evening. The snow was falling, the moonlight was bright and welcoming. And at that time, I remember thinking about what I had achieved through my life... must I admit, there were a few things that came to my mind. But none were really that important. A deep regret filled my heart that I had lived my life for nothing. But at least this small act of kindness to my son and grandchild would be meaningful... Of course it was not the case. I later learned that they were thankful that I would have go and die. My own son instead of being sad of my death, celebrated it. But I am getting ahead of me. I remember sitting in the cold snow and there Sierra approached me and asked what is an old man like me doing in the middle of the forest and freezing to death. I thought that I am hallucinating, and that I start to see things. Most likely my time was about to come. But still I remember that I had a rather open conversation with her about how I felt about my grandchild and my son, and that I gave up my life for them. She found pitty in me. Is that right?"

"Well.. you could say that, Michael. I just found your actions to be rather interesting. I had a grandfather who had saved me with his life, so when I had found you and you had done something similar for your grandchild. It actually was touching. That is the reason why I decided to actually give you some of my blood and make you an immortal. Ever since I look up to you as my step-grandfather. And I always appreciate it that you still treat me so nicely." Most of the vampires at the circle had a warm smile in their faces from this new story detail. Most of them had noticed that Michael and Sierra were close to each other, but to find out that it's something like a grandchild and grandfather relationship. It was touching.

"I can assure you, that even when Alexander will come here, you two will be my beloved grandchildren. My love to you as well as to him will be unconditional. I know what is your interest to him, and I assure you that a better girl as you for my grandson, I cannot find here. So be sure that you have my full blessing." He took another smoke from his cigarette and then thought about what happened when he had transformed. "When I became a vampire. I had a period in my life, when I would be near the death. After all, form the point when Sierra turned me into a vampire and the formation of this family, there is about 3 years of no information. I guess you all are now old enough and understanding enough to learn of the dangers that are out there, and still I want you all to be part of this family, not out of the fear, but out of the love for each other." "Alright, so where was I? Alright so the whole story that happened right after."
10:41
"When I turned to a vampire, I remember going back to see my family for the last time, I was there listening to my grandson Alexander crying in his bed while his father. My son was having the happiest day of his life. As he said that finally that old fart is gone, it took too long for me to realise that I have to get my stinking ass away from the house and finally die. It took too long for me to know my place. That ungrateful fart!" Michael was a little angry at that moment, but he composed himself back in place, after all everything is behind already. "I felt really bad for it all. But I decided that someday the karma will return to him. Heh and as far as I know it did come back. He was hanged. Am I correct Beatrixia?"
Avatar
Beatrixia BOT 28-Nov-21 10:41 AM
"That one I can confirm for sure. He was hanged for his sins. Well and it was rather amusing. He obeyed the church, and the very church, which took your beloved grandson, raped him and outright mutilated his body with their dicks. They did so many horrible things, while your son would disown your own grandson. I find it amusing how much fate does for people. And I think from what you are saying, he deserved every bit of that botched hanging. He was not dying right away. But hanged for about 20 minutes, before he lost his breath and finally died. What a terrifying death for sure, yet he did deserve all of it."

"Hehe. Sister, I know these things excite you, but please let mister continue his tale. We all are here to listen to him after all."

"Well said Yuki. You are a wise boy. That is why I respect you, just like anyone else here. You are the perfect family I always dreamed of, that is why I am sure, when we have Alexander with us here, then we will be happy forever and after." He continued to smoke his cigarette and exhaled the smoke in the air. The smoke had built up the room, so Sebastian decided that it's best to open the window, so all the smoke would go out from the room. "And so. After my turning to a vampire. I was wandering the cities and villages, trying to find a new home. During the day I would dig myself a hole underground, and in the night, I would walk around, looking for places where I could find someone similar to me. This sort of lifestyle attracted eyes of a group of people that are known as the hunters. These people have no mercy. They never ask questions, they only kill vampires. So I met one like that." "The man was a really strong foe to say the least, but before we had our bloody battle, he was unsure if I am a vampire or not. So he had put me up for a test. I remember that we together went to the nearby inn and had a long discussion about our families, about how hard this winter is for many people. He was a really kind stranger at first. He had given me a pint of beer to drink. It was a really nice drink that I had. Honestly the best one I could have tasted. Only after I learned why it was so delicious. It turned out that he had added a lot of blood to the drink, making it disgusting to people, but for vampires, it was a delicious drink."
Avatar
Sebastian BOT 28-Nov-21 10:42 AM
"A beer with blood mixed into it? That's actually something we all should try to have someday. I am sure the ladies wouldn't mind the men to have a nice sitting with a good drink." He looked over the shelves and picked up some of the cups, and pulled out a large bottle full of beer. He poured for all members full mugs of beer and then added to them all small proportions of blood and spread them all to all members of the family.
Avatar
Yuki took a sip of the beer and then smiled at Michael. "This indeed is a delicious drink, interesting why didn't you tell us earlier about this? We would drink it on daily basis." He chugged the drink whole and then looked over to Michael who was going to continue his tale.

"As it was the case, the drink was good, but it's not the best to drink on daily basis. Pure blood is healthier. Just like water for humans... heh. Well either way. I remember that right after the drink, he challenged me to a duel of fate, claiming that I am a vampire that should die right there and then. But the battle that we had was rather.. other way around. The hunter was arrogant, challenging a vampire at the night. Heh so what happened next was his short and sweet death."

"REALLY!!!" He stood up excited and went to look for a cape that's used to keep vampires safe from sunlight. Gave it to Beatrixia and another one for his grandson. "I beg of you, please bring our member of the family to us. Please." Everyone around got excited for the new member's arrival so they all cheered for Beatrixia as she put on her cape and jumped out the window to head and see the Alexander.... --------BACK IN THE ROAT TO PORTOGA----------

After walking for a few more minutes in what seemed a hellscape. Alexander needed to stand on the ground and take a small break. At that exact time, right before them appeared Beatrixia, looking at Alexander with a delicious smile on her face.

"Say... why are you still together with that human girl. I am still amazed that she hasn't killed you as of yet. Why don't you come with me. We are expecting you... Alexander." She said with a smile on her face, while looking at Aria with flaming red eyes. She felt the malice coming from her and didn't think of Alexander as any sort of threat. Yet this was her... undoing.

Alexander knew that if he were to defeat her. He would have to act right now. He punched Beatrixia in the face and with his last strength remaining in his arms, he pulled off the cape away from her and used his strong grip to hold her under the direct light of the sunlight. After a few second, all that remained on Beatrixia's face were bloody tears, as she looked Alexander dead in the eyes... followed by a flame which destroyed her body right on the spot. "Another cape... looks like she might have come up with a friend of hers. These vampires are going to kill anyone that's coming around here. We must be prepared for anything. Please cover me with that filthy whench's cape. I will put on the other one. Interesting... who they were seeking out in the daylight. No matter....." Alexander put on the cape of Beatrixia and then looked at the other one which was well made and handed it to Aria. "This feels much better now. We should hurry to the port city. The church might be there sooner than we expect. Let us make haste." ------------In the meantime, in a far away place.....--------------

"I guess you're right, but you're going to end up burning alive at this rate." She started them forward. It wasn't long before - Oh gods alive, it was that vampire girl again! And it only took Alexander a few moments to react and punch that bitch square in the nose. If there'd been time, she would've cheered him for such an act of brutal violence. And then she was gone in a puff of smoke. She'd never seen something so intense before. She reached for her cloak and thought better of it, pushing it back in to his arms. "No, use it to keep covered." She adjusted the girl's cloak around his shoulders. "She's right that I should've killed you by now," she grumbled softly. "But we definitely need to get off of this road and out of the light now." She offered him her aid, positioning her body so they could cut across the field and in to the forest where it was darker.

Alexander was exhausted inside, he didn't know what to do right now. There was no strength remaining in his body after killing a vampire. He just felt a bit... empty now. He realised that he had taken her life so easily. Never before he was thinking about this, about how he took someone's life. And even on top of that, the girl, she was not being hostile to him. She was asking him to go with her to some place. Maybe his actions were wrong. Maybe he didn't have to kill her? Yet she was going to Kill Aria. That is certainly the truth. Alexander's heartbeat was rising faster by now, yet he felt more and more stronger thanks to the new cape that he took and then looked at Aria and said in a calming voice. "Listen... Do you really want to kill me? If you do, then why are you not doing it right now? I am still weak, and it's a sun right now, so it's a perfect opportunity for you to do what you have wished for all this time. Isn't it?" Alexander was now so strong that he could stand on his two feet and took Aria's arm and pulled it off his shoulder and pointed at the village saying "I am fine now. Let's better go to the city, otherwise we might not make it there in time, and the Church might catch up with us, and then we have to be on the run once more. I don't think that we have time for that. So it's best to move there right away." Alexander then stepped back to the road and looked around. His skin was still dry and unwell, but the cloak had given enough shadow that he now could walk freely and some facial features seemed to start to revert back to the original state. "Are you coming Aria?" He asked in a charming voice and then took first steps on the rocks. He felt better and better by the each passing minute. It seems that the cape is doing wanders. Yet the interior guilt about killing another being didn't leave his body. That would stay with him to the end it seems.

She stopped, contemplating his question for a long moment. Why was she helping anyway? Why hadn't she killed him? He was the reason her brother was dead, after all.. She glanced from him to the road ahead. "I don't know why I haven't killed you yet," she responded, honestly. "Every fiber of my being should be screaming at me to kill you right now and here I am trying to help you instead." She shook her head at the nonsense that was happening. He pulled away from her, telling her felt better and that they should go to the city. "Look, that's all well and good, but I can't exactly walk in to the closest city looking like this. Let alone with a person wearing a Sun Shield." She gestured at her blood and soot stained battle regalia. "It would be better for me if I could get in to the woods where there's a stream and clean all of this up." She moved a few steps forward, just as he had, but she was surveying the surrounding fields until she found a break between two. She shouldn't damage the crops by trudging through the wheat fields if she could help it. The distance would be enough to make or break a whole family for the winter. She pointed at the wheel wells dug deep in the soft ground between two fields. "I'm going that way. You can come with me if you want to. No one will bat an eye at you walking in to town at dusk wearing that though. But I'm a nun, a battle nun at that. I'm meant to look presentable coming in to town unless something really, really bad happened. There's no point in asking for trouble walking in to town like this."

Alexander listened to Aria's reasoning and decided that it's best that he takes her word and does exactly what she said. For some rather odd reason, he felt that Aria is more knowledgeable about whatever she's talking about. However at the same time he couldn't help but feel that she might take any chance that she has and destroy him at all costs. But if she wanted to kill him, wouldn't she have done that when she had the chance? "I think you know well what is best to be done, I am under your mercy, so lead the way, Lady Aria" Alexander took first steps and looked at her Direction. Despite her being strong and smart, she also was rather short and the way how she was walking was rather ammusing. Like if you would stand in one place and she would pass by, all you would see would be her hear just barely move by the field of vision as if a small creature who talks something and jumps up and down. Alexander found this rather funny and had a mild chuckle at Aria. There was just something so cute about her doing nothing but walking. He could tell that she's strong and can get excited sometimes, yet something else was showing lately. She was really strong, after all as she stated, she was a battle nun. But THIS. Alexander couldn't handle it anymore and started to chuckle "Hahaha.... I am really sorry, but the way you are walking is so cute, I just can't. It's been so long since I had seen anything as cute as you."

"I have experience," she responded humbly. She was frankly embarrassed that he'd balked to her will so easily. It was unseemly for a man to do that, especially to a woman of the cloth, such as herself. It made her squirm a bit inside, but not in an entirely unpleasant way. She continued down the path, hoping he'd just follow along quietly, but then he started laughing and... She found that it warmed her a little bit. That mortified blush turned in to something more pleasurable. She beat back the feeling with a mental club. "I'm not cute!" she admonished him. "I am the antithesis of cute. I'm a plane Jane nun. There is nothing cute, feminine, or anything like that about me."

After the brief period of silence the two of them finally had decided to go to the woods. Alexander rather found it amusing how Aria reacted to the compliment. It was less of anything but more of a denial of what most likely was the whole truth. "You know... I once had met a girl who claimed the same. She was not really cute per say, she was rather beautiful and had a really appealing body for the time. And she had told me something similar that she did not consider herself really that beautiful. Well and there was no denial for that one, she indeed was a beautiful lady for the time..." Alexander took a few more steps forward and decided to stop there. Mainly because he remembered that he was the one who reaffirmed the fact that she was not beautiful and that his cowardliness to self control was exactly what caused her to eventually take her own life. It was not a pleasant memory after all. So it's best that he stops right there. "Alright. So I was just thinking as well to myself. We are taking this long road to the city, there we can board a ship and go overseas. Rather safe journey from the time being, but have you decided where are you going to go after that? If you are thinking about me, I will most likely just wander off into the woods and come out after like five to ten years. When the right time has finally come, I'll resurface among the people and again try to live a peaceful life among people, just like I did before." Alexander looked at Aria with slight concern "But do you have any idea where are you going to go to? For humans it's not that simple from what I know of, yet you should be fine if you quit being a nun, you could find yourself a nice home, some handsome man might find you fancy and you could live a peaceful and happy life. Nobody will go after you and you'll be happy. Or such could be the dream, is that correct?"
Avatar
In the meantime in the manor of the vampires "SISTER!!! MY GOD SISTER IS IN DANGER! I FEEL IT!" Lady Trixy jumped up from her day dream and felt on high alert. This sudden jump made everyone quite worried as a bond between sisters rarely lies, and this too might be a sign that something might have had happened. Everyone around her got on high alert and looked at each other. There is a possibility that someone could have injured her sister, yet to take down a vampire, that's a feat only possible by a true human being or another vampire. The fact that this could have been just a single act of misfortune and the cape might have revealed her to the sunlight was unlikely. As any vampire has the right amount of time to cover themselves up before they succumb to the sunlight. As such the possibility that an accident could have occurred is out of the question. "Master Michael, please give me your cape. My sister had taken my cape to go and bring your grandson to us, there's a possibility that she might have not met him in time and could have run into some danger. Please I need to go and save my sister at once." All the members of the family looked at each other and then Michael finally stood up and took off his old cape and handed it to Trixy.

"Be careful my child I know that it's not common of you to do harsh decisions so please use your wisdom and let it guide you through the challenge that is ahead of you! I will ask any other family member who is ready to go and see what is the case. Please go with Trixy so she can return home safe with her beloved sister." Michael looked at all young members of the family but none really was in the right mood to go outside in the sunlight. They all knew what the pain is like to be burned by nothing else than the sunlight. However the young man known as Yuki stepped forward and offered his help. "Thank you Yuki! I knew I could count on you, young man! Please go and prepare yourself for the journey together with Trixy...." But while Michael was looking for a partner to go along with Trixy, she had already taken off out of the window and rushed to save her sister. This rather irrational movement made her separate from the rest of the family members.

"Huh... looks like the sister's instinct was stronger than her mature self. It's family after all, so it's best that I too hurry up. I'll go and take my cape and make preparations. I think that we need another cape as well as some bottles of blood, so the girls can feel full of energy when they return." Yuki was speaking calmly and looked at the rest of the members. Michael nodded and prepared the blood supplies, while Yuki went to his room to take the cape. None of them knew that Beatrixia is no longer among the living. So their actions were casual, to say the best. This was not the first time someone was in trouble. But as fate has it, it might be the last time someone is to be brought back home.... alive.

Trixy was rushing through the woods of the damned with the speed and desperation in her heart. She knew that the time she wastes standing in place is time when her dear sister is dying. In a desperation she even didn't care to fix up her cape and had a light burns on her forehead from the sunlight. She didn't care one bit. All she cared about was the safety of her dear sister. The path from the forest to the place where Beatrixia had passed away was not too long. But it would take for a regular human entire two days to cross. For a simple vampire, it takes about fifteen minutes. But for Trixy this time even was not enough. She took all of her strength to get to the place as fast as she could, for her it was a question of life or death of the dearest person to her. The blood from her insides was spilling out of her mouth. Even for a vampire, the strength and speed she had put in was breaking her insides out, nothing that a cup of blood couldn't fix combined with a day of long rest. But it didn't matter even. For her, it was nothing compared to the thought of her beloved sister being in danger. The branches and bushes were getting in the way of Trixy but she didn't pay any attention to all that, for her, she needed to get to the place, where her sister would get. She could feel the scent of her sister's blood and got closer and closer, until finally, she got there. To the place where Alexander had killed her sister.

Yuki finally got all the resources and decided to go after Trixy. He wasn't much in a rush but he still did pick up the pace, as he noticed the path left behind where Trixy was running. It was clear that the path was full of rush and desperation. The entire air was filled with this smell. AS such, he took up the tempo and went on faster pace. In his mind however thought occurred, what if humans finally had managed to learn how to kill vampires. That would be a frightful thing for sure. There were people in the past who were proclaimed vampire killers. The most notable were the Belmont family, yet they were holding such power that even the church had decided to better exile them, instead of dealing with people of such power and influence. He did remember that Beatrixia mentioned the church having a severe investigation in some kind of a beast. Perhaps a newborn vampire was lurking around? They all clearly don't know how to hold themselves in place. These people have no restrictions and is a pesky threat to their safety. Well it doesn't sound as bad when people can defend themselves. But what if the people hunt down the reasonable vampires. Like the unity between humans and vampires is not quite possible. Yuki was dwelling too long unto the thought and after about twenty minutes, he finally had caught up to Lady Trixy, who was seemingly sitting on the field... but oh? What's this, Church officials?
Avatar
Before Yuki had arrived at the edge of the forest to observe Trixy with the church people, Trixy was already there five minutes ago. The first thing he saw was a cape laying on the ground. That was something to be expected, but.... something else was right there besides the cape... Ashes. And not any simple ashes, vampire ashes. Trixy refused to believe this and started to look through the items that were laying alongside the ashes and to her horror she indeed found Beatrixia's beloved pendant, which she wore almost always to signify her cute smile. If that didn't put enough proof in her face that it was indeed her little sister right there, the ring that she always wore too was found in the ashes. That was the definite proof that she's no longer among the living. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
13:50
Trixy screamed in terror as it finally hit her that her beloved sister is no longer alive and started to weep so loudly that it had attracted the church officials who were walking towards the city, where both of them had hoped to finally find Alexander and Aria. Trixy noticed them and instantly assumed that they are the ones who had murdered her sister. The blood coming from her mouth and eyes was a clear giveaway of her origins. Which alerted them. Trixy cleaned her mouth and put on her sister's pendant as well as the ring, which she would hold onto from now on. "Humans! You always are destroying anything that's in the path. ALWAYS! We have tried to have a civilised life together with your kind, but whenever someone from our kind is dead, it's a clear signal that someone from your lines is to be responsible.... And your so called church, what a filthy place of no honour or respect. I denounce your lives." Trixy stepped forward and prepared herself for the battle stand all she wanted to do now was to kill these people. "I am Trixy, the head lady of the House of Vampires! I shall deliver your punishment, HERE AND NOW!"
