Just outside the city of Havoc sat an seemingly endless ocean housing all sorts of unique aquatic organisms and whatever cryptids lied at the ocean's floor. Cool evenings such as these paired perfectly with the serene beach. . .normally. Tonight, Hishiki found herself ambushed by a small group of unknown attackers disturbing both her and everyone else's relaxing night on the warm sands. Hours passed before the attackers had finally conceded and either passed to next life or ran away from the battle. Hishiki's once black and purple bathing suit now tainted by both her own and her enemy's crimson fluids. Her hair and glasses were unfortunately not excluded from the mess either. " You assholes better run! I-I'm not. . .gods-- " Her slick comments were cut short from the sharp pain in her exposed waist where one of the attackers had dug a poison doused blade into. Her vision blurred almost instantaneously before blacking out entirely and falling out onto the blood soaked sands of Havoc's Beach.

Stepping onto the beach Ezra had a small smile on his face as he saw how bright it was. He was dressed in just board shorts and his plans were to just go swimming until night came nothing relaxed him quite like swimming in the cool waters of the ocean. It even made him feel healthier like he was being healed by something. That feeling had bee around ever since he was a child and he had tried to push past it believing it to be his imagination but the feeling never went. His smile was stepped when he saw ground of the beach, it was covered in blood as if a warzone had went off bodies lying on the ground as he looked around trying to find survivors all he could see though was a women lying on the ground barely moving. He ran to her seeing how she was covered in blood, if it weren't for the situation he would have flushed from the bathing suit but right now what she was wearing was ignored as he felt his hand along her next sighing in relief once he noticed that she was still alive. The blade in her side didn't look good as well. Normally he would have left it in but the unnatural colour of the blade set off his warnings as he gently placed his hand on the handle and pulled it out of her. His hands went under her knees and her back as he lifted her up in his arms walking into the ocean to try and clean the blood off of her, an instinctual feeling in his body telling him that he would be able to heal her in the water. "Please don't die on me." he plead.

If the sudden deluge of salt water washing over her small frame didn't shake her awake, the water filing into her lungs had definitely done the trick. The sharp pain had persisted albeit much less now that the blade was removed. In a panic for oxygen, Hishiki had frantically thrashed in the other's arms, almost resorting to violence. Small ight purple bolts of electricity began to crack and form around the woman's body. Her mysterious rescuer had best find a way to calm her down before a rather large part of the ocean is brutally shocked.

Ezra winced in pain as he felt the electricity snap at him almost dropping her straight away from the pain but he bit his lip and forced himself to calm down lifting her up out of the water so that only her knees remained underwater. He hugged her body tighter to his chest noticing that the wound on her side was slowly closing up. "Shit Hey I'm just trying to help you, please stop with the zapping." he asked her pain clear in his voice as he gently rocked her from side to side not sure what else to do."

" OH THANK GODS! " Fixated on catching her breath, she hardly noticed the. . .strange predicament she was in. It didn't take very long for her to acknowledge it, however. " U-Uh-- " Body froze for just a moment, flushed features shoving a plethora of thoughts into her mind. " I-Is this something humans do at the beach or should I be kicking your head off right now? I appreciate you saving me from drowning, but this just feels. . .strange. "

Smiling softly at her once she seemed to be awake he nodded to her. "I wouldn't say that it was the most normal thing but it's not exactly normal to find someone stabbed at the beach either." He told her with a nod. He thought about placing her down onto her feet but he wasn't sure if she would be able to walk by herself right now, instead he started to walk back towards the dry land of the beach. "I felt like getting you to the water would be the best way to help you." He admitted to her pulling her body closer against his chest to make sure that he wouldn't drop her, the blood on her body being washed away by the ocean. "Would you mind telling me what happened? I think you might be the only survivor around here."

" Oh yeah, that did happen, didn't it? That must be the pain I'm feeling. " Slender digits gently caressed the previously stabbed area with a small sigh before glaring over towards the crimson painted beached littered with the corpses of her attackers. " I got attacked. It happens pretty often, honestly. More annoying than anything. . . .and how would water do anything about a stab wound? Wouldn't that like hurt even more since it's salt water or something? "

He shrugged at her question, the movement causing her body to go up and then back down slightly. "Water has always helped me when I was hurt, and considering you had almost just gotten be hit by lightning I'd say there are weirder things." He told her. He watched her as she felt where she was stabbed before looking from her and then to the battle field before looking back at her again. "Do you know why they were attacking you? maybe we should ask the police for help?" He asked her with his head tilted slightly as the guy only wanted to help her.

" I've got my guesses, but they'll just be that. And the cops aren't gonna be any help. They're running after me too. Sorry about the lightning. That just kinda happens when I'm in danger, ya know. Super effective in actual threatening situations. " A nervous chuckle ensued as her attention was drawn back to the blood soaked beach. " We should probably get out of here. This is not a good look for you right now. "

He nodded to her, knowing that she was right if they had been found like this then they would be in danger. "Can you walk? we can go back to my place if you have no where else to go." He offered her as he reached the sandy floors placing her down on the ground softly while keeping his grip around her waist tight just in case that he needed to catch her. "I kind of wish I had lightning, your right it would be super effective. Plus I wouldn't have to pay my electric bill." He added the last part being a joke.

Immediately hopping back to her feet, the Electai snagged a few things off of one of the corpses and proudly motioned for the other to follow her. . .until bright red and blue lights flashed in the direction of her residence. They seriously don't waste any time. " Crap. Let's just head to your place! We can check out my little Thunder home later when the cops aren't everywhere. Lead on, water man. "

"Ezra." He was quick his body tense as he saw how quick the police lights were to go off, he walked over to her taking her hand in his and guiding her back towards his place. "My name is Ezra not waterboy or do you want me to call you thunder woman.?" He asked her with a smile. He wasn't sure what she had taken off one of the corpses and if he was being honest he didn't care. Instead he took off his cap and placed it on top of her head using it to hide her face. Luckily the water had washed off the blood from the body allowing them to inconspicuously walk back to his place without worrying about people calling the cops on them.

" Hishiki. I don't even mind the thunder woman name. . .if it's not that, it's "monster" with these people. " Pocketing the stolen piece from the corpse, Hishiki began to pace in the opposite direction from the authorities whilst lightly beckoning to the other with a smirk. The weather is definitely chilling by quite a bit and the bathing suits isn't helping in the slightest. " Let's seriously get out of here. I'd rather not be frozen into a popsicle wearing. . .whatever the name of this was. "

"It's called a bikini." He corrected her absentmindedly once he was done looking at her body. During there walk off the beach he had picked up his bag pulling out a blue hoodie before he walked over to her. "and yeah your right, this isn't really the weather for going swimming." He told her looking back that was a good thing, meant that they didn't have any witnesses. "Hishiki is a nicer name then thunder woman at least." He told her throwing the warm hoodie at her as they walked. "You should wear that. Will keep you warm." He told her with a small smile. As the two of them walked, he absentmindedly wrapped an arm around her waist pulling her close to his body in a side hug before they made they're way back to his small apartment.
