The coffin was transported to the museum overnight, freshly removed from the ruins that week. They had been ordered to clean the muddy surface and polish it. The stone surface was sealed shut with large metal nails, and they couldn't help but wonder what was inside. Nearly a week passed before things began within the exhibit. People passing out or panicking when near the stone monolith. Cameras for the exhibit glitching or simply ceasing to work. They was instructed to open the coffin that night and they couldn't help but have some amount of hesitation. Its not like they had never seen a mummy before.

"Ready?" He grinned holding up a pair of sturdy bolt cutters. Arlo had always been obsessed with archeology. The past, especially dead societies, always had drawn him in. Even to the point of conspiracy he researched the past to exhaustion in college but never could boost his grades enough to get a better job than a museum curator but he was content to pry open coffins and polish pottery. "Think we can even lift this lid? Solid granite nearly four inches thick..." he remarked tapping the top.
