"I glance into the rear view mirror as I sit at the stop of light a couple of turns from the house of Katie. She was an adorable cute girl that I had met on Tinder, and tonight was the first date. I have been on a thousand first dates, but this one felt special. Something told me that this was gonna be the start of something wonderful. As the light turns green, I begin moving to the major apartment complexes of the city. Finding parking in this area might be difficult. The GPS rings of another turn before I find myself at the completed destination. I smile as I see an open parking spot in front of the apartment complex, luck might be on my side tonight. I pull into the spot and smile as I step outside of my Honda Civic, stretching my 6 foot 2 frame outside of the car. I walk up to the door, checking my black hair and green eyes in the reflection of the apartment opening. As I walk in, I am met with a call sign... "Apartment 341," I say to myself under my breath, "Ah, there it is." I push the call button and await a response."

“I answer the call promptly, my voice slightly nervous over the crackly speaker “Oh hi Scott, I’ll be down in a second” I quickly pick up my bag, check myself in the mirror a final time, fix my hair and head into the elevator to head downstairs. I open the door revealing myself to you for the first time in person, your warm smile greeted me looking the exact same as it was the many weeks on FaceTime we spent together. I am dressed in a tight, slim blue dress with tights and heels. My curves fit the outline of the dress beautiful. I push my blonde hair back behind my ear. “Hey Scott!, it’s so nice to see you finally” I walk over to you and offer a welcoming hug”

""Hi, Katie," I say accepting her hug, and lingering a bit on the end of it, "You look amazing tonight! It is so much nicer to see you here instead of over a 6 inch screen!" I joke as I let go of the hug. "So, are you excited? I have a pretty good date lined out, if I say so myself," I jokingly say as I give a goofy smirk."

As I lead Katie out the door and to my car, I walk her to the passenger side and open the door for her, letting her get in the seat. I follow as I move to the driver side and begin to back out of the parking spot. "Well, this is fun," I say as I begin moving forward, "You are definitely well dressed for tonight, while I am not." I joke as I look over my blue jeans and button down light blue shirt.

"Well," I state as I turn to look into your eyes for a moment, getting lost in them, before turning back to the roadway, "I found this little hole in the wall bar and grill where we could have drinks and food first. If you would like there is also an ice cream joint not too far from the bar as well!"

“How far did you travel to get over to my place?” I ask

I giggle, "It's not a bad living, I will put it like that," I say with a smirk, a few more moments of conversation pass before we begin to get close to the location of the bar, "It is right around the corner up here, have you been to this part of the city before?"

"Well, this is gonna be fun," I say with a smile, "Because neither have I, so we are both going to be going in new on this one." I smile at her, as we continue to move towards the location, I think this might be the best option for a first move. After I shift gears, I let my hand slide over and land on her thigh, giving a pat before letting it rest, watching for a reaction.

I smile a big toothy grin at you as I let my hand rest there as we continue to move towards the bar. Finding a spot not too far away from the bar, I park and jump out of the sit, motioning for you to hold on and rush to your side and open your door.

I give a gentle smirk back as I allow you to walk in front of me onto the sidewalk, taking in your entire body from head to toe from behind, you are truly gorgeous to me. As I follow behind, I let my hand move to the small of your back and move you in the direction of the bar, "This way."

Smiling at your comment, I say, "Yeah, I heard from a friend that it was definitively the place to go, especially if you are on a first date." I look down at the ground as we walk, looking for your hand. As we walk, I move closer to you letting my hand intertwine with yours.

As we hit the door, I look over as you stare in amazement at the bar. It is a lovely bar, with a bar that extends the length of the building it is in, with a live music and dance stage to the side of the floor. There was a bustle around the building as patrons entered and left, waiters and waitresses ran the dining floor, and drinks were being served as well as the dancing. I walk up to the hostess, "Hi, we had a reservation for 7? Scott Biggs?"

"Not really," Scott giggles, "It is definitely just something new and I love it. It is amazing to have you in my eyes for real." He thought for a moment about how stupid that sounded, laughing before adding, "I think the one who won't know how to react is Coal." Coal was his black Labrador who had been in their FaceTimes alot.
