Eden Teivel BOT 27-Nov-21 12:10 PM
A demon. Corrupted, evil, stained. That's what she was. Eden ran through the forest, dodging various branches, eager, desperate. How long had it been since she had left Hell? A week, two? All she knew was that hounds had been sent after her, and she had fallen from the tree she slept in. Coppery hair, two horns, a purple and Cyan eye, Eden Teivel was instantly recognisable for what she was. A demon. One borne in the depths. She had seen her fair share of various souls passing through, had seen the pain and torment they had gone through, and had made a vow there and then, to leave the place she was born in. Standing at a tiny 4'8, Eden had been able to wriggle her way out, had been able to put enough distance between herself and that dastardly place. But she knew, it would only be a matter of time before the hounds would track her down, after all  she hadn't been able to take all of her belongings. Running for her life, Eden grabbed hold of a low branch, and swung herself up, and sat, still as a statue, barely daring to breathe. Who was in control of these hounds?

Where is she boy? Balam asked his head Hell-hound Azrael. He watched through the hound’s eyes as it weaved through the forest trees expertly, following the distinctive ascent of the demonic. That had been Balam’s only saving grace, with demons rarely, if ever, visiting the Earthen realm. Why they were doing this was still beyond Balam’s comprehension. Demons had the capacity to be dastardly creatures, sure, but there’d never been a case of one just… leaving. Abandoning their post. Their job. Their duty. A growling sound came from Azrael, and he was soon joined by his two companions, Barbados and Jinn. Balam was the last to arrive, looking around the small clearing. It was clear the scent trail ended there, but… where was she? When in doubt, always look up. Balam reached into his satchel that was looped across his body and pulled out a very old-fashioned sling shot, the kind one has to actually spin and sling. Why mess with a classic though? The demon kneeled and picked up a rock about the size of his hand, smooth, like it had been sitting in a river stream. After loading it, he started spinning, slowly, dramatically. “I know you’re here, Eden!” he called out, his voice echoing against the trees of the forest. “We can do this one of two ways. One: you come back with us willingly and you stand trial before Lord Lucifer! Or two: You make me have to launch this thing into whatever tree you’re hiding in and we hope you’re lucid enough to stand trial. The choice is yours!”

The demon's eyes widened, and she clamped her hand over her mouth, suppressing a whimper. Peering through the leaves, she mentally cursed herself. She should have kept running, should have done something other than climb up. Of all people, of all demons, it had to be Balam. Huddling closer to the bark, Eden made attempted to make herself smaller, curling up. Balam's accuracy was something to be admired, his control of the hounds one of a kind. She was but a lowly demon, barely any power, so it came as a surprise that it was Balam who had come after her. Barely daring to breathe, Eden listened to the words he spoke, warily watching the hounds that stood by his side. Willingly? There was no way in hell that Eden would even consider that. If she went back... not only would she lose her freedom, it was a possibility that she would lose her life. Lucifer was not a patient man, nor was he kind, and if the demoness went with Balam, it was likely she would suffer the same torment that she had watched countless souls suffer. Eden's time was running low, and if Balam loosed that rock, and it hit her, she would fall from that tree. Scowling, she realised she was left with no choice. Removing her hand, she watched carefully. "Why don't you come find me, you big brute!" Her voice echoed across the clearing, through the trees and leaves, making her exact location unclear. With that in mind, she began to move from her position, carefully stepping onto another branch, climbing higher. It was one thing running away, escaping what had been written for her before she was born, but it was another to actively provoke one of the strongest demons known. Had Eden been of sound mind, she would have cursed her inability to keep her mouth shut.

Ah. She is here. With barely a twitch of his fingers, Balam signaled for the three hounds to scatter, to form a perimeter so that any one of them would be ready to give chase should Eden choose to run. “You’re only making this more difficult on yourself, Eden! Balam called back into the trees. “This is unprecedented. If something is wrong, if something happened, I’m sure Lord Lucifer will bend an ear to you!” Lucifer wasn’t exactly known as compassionate, but Balam had to believe that there was some sort of incident that occurred. Why else would a demon, no matter their position, leave? Balam sniffed the air and then jumped, grabbing onto a branch and swung himself up onto it. Sniffing the air again, he jumped to another branch. And then another one. Around them, the hounds howled, sending birds and insects and small mammals scattering. After a moment or two, it was just the two of them up in the branches. “Eden…” Balam threw his voice in one direction. “Eden…” Another. “I’m going to find you…” “You should just give yourself up…” “It’s inevitable…” It was as if there were ghosts of Balam all roaming through different parts of the forest, surround Eden, slowly closing in on her. He slowly stalked through the branches, his feet light and sure, silent as a mouse. Then the whole forest went silent, not a rustle, even the wind itself seemed to be holding its breath… “Found you,” Balam whispered from behind Eden, using his sling almost like a club to slam the rock right into the girl’s temple, knocking her off the branch and onto the ground below where the hounds quickly surrounded her, snarling and barking, though they didn’t attack. Balam fell gracefully from the tree, seeming to almost float in place for half a second before touching the ground. He walked over to Eden, turned her face up and held a blade to her throat. “Use those powers of yours, and you won’t make it to your trial,” he warned her.

The way Balam called Eden's name made her skin crawl, and she shuddered, still working to climb. Unware of his advance, she stepped from branch to branch, keeping her gravity low. The demoness was higher now, a fair distance from the ground. Balam's statement almost.made her laugh, completely made her scoff. She had never, not once seen Lucifer bend an ear to anyone. Eden had had barely a millisecond to register the demon's whisper, on that made her shiver, before something hard, rough, slammed into her temple. Her head snapped to the side and stunned silent, the demoness crumpled, losing her footing in the branch. The floor rushed up to meet her, and she could only let out a whimper before the ground crashed into her back, completely winding her. Eden lay their stunned, as the hounds surrounded her, the snapping and snarling not completely registering with her. Her body struggled to regain its composure, and she blinked, trying to remove the wave after wave of dizziness. Had she been human, she was sure that blow would have killed her. Still, Eden lay on the frozen ground, struggling to breathe not paying attention to Balam's descent, far more graceful than her own. She shook her head, clearing it slightly, before a blade found purchase against her throat. Eden froze, and defiant eyes gazed up at the stronger demon. "W-would that not be better?" Eden spat at Balam, and while she was breathless, and it was hard for her to speak, she still glared up at him, arms planted st her side Head clearing a little more, Eden's glare intensified. "I'm not going back. It's your choice whether to kill me here or not." Still, the demoness nervously at the hellhounds.
They were large, musclebound, foaming mouths snapping millimetres from her face. The truth of the matter was that Eden was terrified. She didn't want to die, but she refused to go back, and so her expression softened, becoming one of a much more innocent nature, and she changed tactics. "Don't make me go back... please, Balam?" Eden cried softly, hoping her ruse would be brought. A demon was anything but innocent, yet it was an act that had gotten Eden out of many tight spots. The use of his name was only an extra precaution.

The hounds lowered their voices to low growls, there to remind Eden of their presence. Balam scoffed, then laughed. “Your supervisor said you liked crocodile tears.” The smile he gave her wasn’t very sinister, honestly more impressed by the strength of her act. In truth, had he not gotten such a warning, it would have given Balam pause. He was often told that his compassion would get the better of him someday. So far it hadn’t, but so far, he’d been chasing human souls already deemed worthy for damnation, Eden though… he didn’t know what to think of her. Seeing his hounds as sufficient enough threat, Balam removed the cold, obsidian blade from Eden’s throat and slid it back into place. “Two weeks. You’ve made me give chase for two weeks. The previous record holder was eight days, and they were a fugitive who’d died of old age in life. You’ve caused me a lot of trouble, Eden. I hope it was all worth it.” They were two weeks away from the stairway back to Hell, which would make this the longest journey to Earth that Balam would have ever undergone. “Honestly, I don’t know what you were expecting to find or accomplish here on Earth. There are things worse than I that would, that may still try and hunt you down, young Demoness. You’ve caused more trouble than you can fathom.” He stood and then pulled Eden to her feet, helping her to steady herself. From his satchel he pulled out what looked to be leather restraints, tied together by black chains. On the sides if the restraints were what looked like flaming runes. He latched them to Eden’s hands, the runes lighting up. “This will burn for a second,” he muttered to her. “They’re to restrain your use of your powers.”

"Tch-" Eden's softly pitiful expression dropped, and her eyes narrowed once more, a slight growlcof frustration leaving her as he laughed. It had been worth a shot after all. Balam's pulling her up had Eden unsteady on her feet, and she instinctively grabbed onto the nearest thing to steady her, that being Balam's arm. The wave of dizziness that hit her was strong, but it soon passed, an she dropped his sleeve like it were made of hellfire. Now that she was upright, the bruise and trail of blood down the side of her face were much more noticeable, and her height. Balam had at least a foot on her, and with his hounds, the demoness found it hard to suppress a chuckle. "Two weeks? Come on, thought you'd be faster." Her bratty nature showed through in that moment, as if she were actively challenging his position. He was known to be the Bringer of Souls, after all. "It's not worth it. Not if you take me back. Have you seen what those souls go through? The pain, and torment?" Her voice had dropped an octave, her own compassion colouring her tone. It had been the deciding factor of her leaving, after she watched a man get eaten alive, and then brought back, over and over. It had been a punishment to force her to watch, lest she ever disobey.
"I wanted.... freedom. Compassion. I don't expect you to understand." Eden hissed at the restraints were put in place, and it was as if an iron wall had slammed between herself and her power, and a bewildered look crossed her face, mismatched eyes widening. Still, curiosity overwhelming her, Eden couldn't help but ask. "What things?" A copper eyebrow arched, and she held in a scoff. Though the demoness was small, she was still rather strong, and she couldn't see any humans attempting and succeeding in hurting her. "Balam, you're the only thing that has hurt me so far. I've been fine here." She said, pulling slightly at the restraints. It felt wrong, to be separated, and Eden wasn't looking forward to the journey back. Trying one more tactic, she gazed up at Balam, mismatched eyes aglow. "Don't you want to know what it feels like to live among humans? Why they do what they do?" Eden asked softly, blinking slowly. It wasn't any of her power, yet another thing that had gotten out the demoness out of trouble. Appeal to the others sensibilities.

“Those souls were judged, not even by Lucifer, but by God themself. They deserve the pain and torment. Whatever they did here on Earth was deemed deplorable enough to be subjected to an eternity of torment. You shouldn’t feel bad for them, Eden. You should feel proud that you get to aid in dealing out retribution for the pain and suffering they surely deserve.” Balam sounded like a preacher, only instead of extolling the virtues of the Heavenly Kingdom, he was defending the necessity of damnation. He’d always taken great pride in his work, and was honored to be able to be as an important part of the process as he was. That’s what made Eden’s betrayal even more treacherous to him. “Why would I want to live amongst these wicked monstrosities?” Balam balked. “Every day the line to Hell’s gates grows longer and longer. I can’t even fathom what this place must be like.” Still, the look in her eyes didn’t match what Balam would think of someone who’d lived amongst the people of Earth. Had she been with them? Talked to them? Stayed with them? Why hadn’t she cone running back? Begging for her life and position, or even a demotion? Were these creature not vial, reprehensible things? He’d seen their souls, the darkness, the blackness that often led him right to them when they escaped. No. Surely there was no good in them to be found. “Have you not heard of archangels? The guardians of humanity? Michael? Gabriel? Raphael?” Balam asked, genuinely surprised. Perhaps such knowledge wasn’t required down in the Nine Rings. “If they find us out here, they won’t hesitate to use their flaming swords to strike us down. That’s why it’s important we make haste back to the stairway.” Balam sighed. “They wouldn’t have cared if you were running away from Hell or not, Eden. They don’t even care I’m trying to keep souls in. They’ll strike without remorse. You wouldn’t have lasted a month out here.”

"Because they're not all wicked. They're not all vile, horrible creatures." Eden spoke softly, her eyebrows furrowed slightly. The demoness had walked among them, her horns and tail hidden, had become 'human' for a small time to escape the hellhounds. It had worked, for a time. She had enjoyed the food and drink, the conversations. These humans were intriguing, soft and mundane, yet they held more interest that anything she had ever met before. They were easily corrupted, and that made the humans weak. Still, Eden had studied them. "They have families Balam. Children elderly, young, of all ages and sizes. And... they're weak minded. That is their flaw. Easily corrupted." A fierceness grew in her voice and she took a step forward, eager to expand on her point, to make this demon believe her. Her resolve was infinite. "They.... have a compassion... that I've never experienced. They take in those that aren't their own, feed and water those in need. Find me a demon that does that. Tell me of one... and I will follow you. I won't escape." The conviction in Eden's voice wavered slightly at the end, the slightest bit of fear evident. She was terrified of going back, of standing trial. Not only had she escaped, the demoness had managed to stay out for two weeks. Her punishment would be huge.
The fact that Balam believed in pain and torment had Eden squirm, a little. Not the pain she had seen. Not the torment she had witnessed. The stronger demon's words about the angels scared Eden, yet wrought a fire within her. Not saying anything of her knowledge on the, the demon growled, her pointed ears turning pink.* "In case you haven't noticed, Balam, but I'm not a strong as you. That's the whole reason I managed to get out. No one noticed. I doubt the angels would either. I could survive a month. You? I'm not so sure." Eden was snarky, her expression almost deadpan. She had in fact stayed away from Balam and the hounds during her escape, it was only bad luck that had led to her capture. "You're the one that's gonna get us caught, with your hellhounds."

“If we get caught, we’ll deal with that as it comes. I hold no ill-will towards the angels, but if it comes to that, I won’t hesitate to stand toe to toe with them,” Balam almost growled. He wouldn’t be made a mockery, especially not by this traitorous vermin. “Compassion? I’m showing you compassion right now by lugging you back to Hell in chains. Lucifer gave me orders to bring you back, unless you proved too much a liability. He told me that I shouldn’t let a lowly insect such as yourself endanger the Bringer of Souls. I could have slit your throat where you lay, Eden, so don’t you dare lecture me on the compassion our kind is capable of!” It was a rare moment of anger for the demon, his eyes glowing red with rage, the hounds going into somewhat of a fury around them, bouncing and snarling, their emotions intrinsically connected. Balam had to take a few breaths to calm down. “You may be lowly, Eden, but we demons carry a stench and aura of damnation that the Angels can’t ignore. You’re good at hiding, I’ll give you that, but if I found you, eventually they would have too. Now come on. We have a long journey ahead.”

"No. Killing me where I lay would have been compassion. What you're doing now is dooming me to an eternity of torment. Have you even been to the rings? Or do you sit comfortably in a tower, no sounds bothering you?" Balam's rage brought out her own fire, and she spat at him, digging her heels in. When the hounds reacted to his anger, and Eden flinched expecting at least a bite. Being called an insect hurt, but it was nothing she hadn't heard before. "Yet this lowly insect had the mighty Bringer of Souls come after her. Gotta be worth something, huh?" Eden growled, yanking on the chain that held her restraints. Mismatched eyes glowed with her own anger, and a tail whipped furiously behind her. The angels were of no consequence to Eden, she was more focused on getting away. "See. You can't give me a name of one demon with compassion." Eden smirked, mirth evident in her voice. In a desperate bid for escape, Eden launched her smaller body at Balam, putting her full weight behind the blow. Her words were meant to annoy, to distract, so she would have the element of surprise. If she could at least put Balam off balance, his grip on the chain would loosen, and Eden could run. So she aimed at his torso, in an attempt to wind. It was most likely futile, and the hounds were around her, but perhaps with their master down, it would give her time. A minute. That was all the demoness needed.

Balam had, in fact, never been down to the Nine Rings before. He’d never had to. He’d heard stories of course, of the terrible things done to humans all the way down but… it wasn’t his job to think about it. Why should he concern himself? “It’s not our job to be compassionate, Eden. It’s our job to be- urgh!” Balam fell face first to the ground, his horns digging into the dirt, jerking his head it stopped and his body kept going, sending a sharp pain down his spine. The hounds whimpered, attending to their master. “Don’t worry about me! Make sure Eden doesn’t escape!” he told them, his eyes going black as he sent them after the girl. He should have never let his guard down. The demoness was deceptive, her tiny stature concealing a dark center, he’d concluded. The hounds were on Eden’s tail, spreading out into a triangle formation with Azrael at its point. They barked and howled, communicating with each other with deadly efficiency which direction she was going, how they were going to route her, and even holes and sharp corners to avoid. They were hunting experts, and they weren’t about to let this prey, who’d hurt their master no less, get away from them.

The moment Balam was down, Eden was off. She'd had less than a minute to make her decision, and her eyes flitted from side to side, looking for a clear path. The trees were not an option, her hands were bound, and she'd need them to climb. Her tail whipped behind her, and she took the only option she could. Forward. Starting a sprint, she dodged a hellhound that had jumped into her path, narrowly escaping its claws. Eden hadn't wanted to hurt Balam, after all, he were only doing his job. But if she went back, her fate would be sealed. Did the Bringer even know what would happen? These thoughts held no place in her mind however, her only focus on escape. Two hounds were behind her, on either side, and she didn't know where the third was, and in that moment, the horned girl didn't care. She flitted straight back into the forest, glancing back once desperation clear in her mismatched eyes. Eden didn't want to think of what what the hounds would do if they caught her. She had heard terrible tales, ones that kept young demons in check. The demoness herself was no exception, and as she jumped over a log, her long tail got caught in the branches, a startled, pained shriek leaving her. Eden's tail was incredibly sensitive, both a gift and a curse. A harsh tug could hurt her, with a soft touch doing the opposite. It was stuck, and she began to cry as the hounds drew near. Genuine tears of fear, a scream left her as she ducked a hound sailing over her head. They began to circle the demoness snarling and growling, a ferocious look in their eyes. Eden was trapped. The hounds did their job of keeping Eden scared, but they notably didn’t touch her in the slightest. After about a minute, Balam came limping into Eden’s view, looking equally hurt and annoyed. “Will you please stop running?!” he shouted at her. As he drew closer, Eden would be able to notice something very prominently different about him. One of his horns was broken, looking as if some beast reached up and snapped it in half like a twig. It was a result of his fall, with it digging in the ground and the force of his weight hitting the ground causing it to crack. When he’d sat up, it was obviously too damaged to heal, so he had to rip it off entirely to make way for it to grow back. It was very painful. Balam stopped a couple of feet in front of Eden, the girl practically dangling off the ground by her tail. “You know, I should let you just hang there until an archangel finds you,” Balam said, his eyes still red from the tears he’d just shed from pain. However, he moved behind her and examined her tail. It was tangled, almost in a knot in the branches, with a small one having also stabbed it in the side, hooking her. Without a word, Balam got to work, his fingers gently brushing against the skin of her tail to almost soothe her and make the pain more bearable as he undid it from the branches. He had to hug her body and lift her slightly to take her weight off it while he unhooked the delicate thing from the final branch, and then set her down on the log she was trying to clear. Balam kneeled down in front of her, his tear stained eyes looking into her own. Gentle fingers wiped away her tears. “Have I made it clear yet how much I don’t wish to hurt you, Eden?” he asked quietly.

Eden had struggled further the moment she heard Balam's voice, which had resulted in the tear and knotting of her tail. As he came closer, the demoness had become almost desperate to escape, had considering yanking her tail out and causing damage to get away. That was, until a gentle touch happened upon the sensitive skin. It had Eden pause for just a moment, and she turned her head to face the working demon. Her pause allowed Balam to hug and lift her, with the results of her tail finally being free. She was soon sat on the offending log, whimpering and crying, her tail wrapping itself around her waist like a wounded cat. Mismatched eyes closed as the larger demon wiped away tears of pain and fear, and then opened when he spoke. One a jewel blue, the other a smokey purple. They traversed the planes of Balam's face before flicking up to glance at the wounded horn. She flinched at that, a horrible feeling overcoming her. Eden hadn't meant to hurt him, not like that anyway, and her fingers itched to sooth the pain. "Taking me back will hurt me." She whispered, eyes finding his tear filled ones. "They will beat and skin me, and heal me to do it all over again. I won't have a moments rest." Balam's fingers were surprisingly gentle on her cheeks, a touch she had not felt in centuries. The end of her tail flicked, and she held out her wrists. "Take them off. For just a minute? I can ease your pain.... the least I can do..." the last sentence was muttered, almost petulantly, as the demoness gazed at the wounded horn. She couldn't make it grow back, but she could numb the pain. She felt horrible that she had caused it, even if it was unintentional. Would a fate left to the archangels be worse than in hell, or were they words just to scare her? Turning her eyes back to Balam's face, she sighed. "Either way, I'll be captured, right?" (edited)

It wouldn’t be gloating to say that Balam could kill Eden before she had a chance to land a single blow on her. He was older than her, believe it or not. Older than many of the other demons in Hell. Much, much older… For the first time, Eden’s appeals to his sensibilities were actually working. She didn’t pose a threat to him. And if she ran, there was no doubt in his mind that of he didn’t catch her initially, worse threats would. “Alright,” he finally relented, muttering some demonic language to cause the runes on the binds to light up and fall off her wrists. “If you run again, I’m going to kill you,” Balam warned her, but then looked into her mismatched eyes with a sad look in his own. “And in that moment, I’ll be showing you true compassion.” Hesitantly, he lowered his head, giving her better access to his broken horn. Thankfully there was barely any bleeding, just mostly a burning pain, like he was holding it to a hot stove. “What is it that you did in Hell?” Balam asked, trying to keep his mind occupied on anything other than her working on him. “Were you one of the healers?” The demons responsible for bringing souls back after mutilation and murder. Over and over again for eternity.

If she ran. Eden was tired, and with Balam's hellhounds behind her, and he himself in front, there was no chance she would escape again. Sighing softly, she shook her head, copper locks framing a delicate face. "I won't run...." Eden swallowed, and soon the shackles fell from her wrists. Once they dropped, it felt like that iron door dropped, and her power rushed back to her. It was an uncanny feeling. As Balam lowered his head, Eden gently took it into her hands, observing the wound first. It was a clean break, with a few splinters at the break points. "This'll hurt a bit." She said, a soothing tone entering her voice, as she began to wipe away the minimal blood. Fingers then wrapped around the broken horn. "I'm sorry," Eden whispered, and she began to dribble her power into him, a light glow emanating from her hand. Balam's question had her freeze slightly, though her touch remained gentle. How apt he was. "Yeah. I had to heal mangled bodies to completion. Over and over and over again." Her voice broke at the end, and soon, she was finished numbing him, and a haunted look entered her eyes as she lowered her hands to her lap. "They begged. Pleaded with me. Not for mercy. For death. The guilty ones asked for mercy, but the innocents? There are many." Eden closed her eyes, another tear slipping down her cheek. That would be her fate, she knew, if she returned. The demoness could still hear the screams, and they often gave her nightmares. She would often find herself waking in a cold sweat the visage of those souls still behind her eyelids. (edited)

“There are no innocents in Hell,” Balam stated plainly. “I don’t know who put that delusion into your head, but I swear, I’ll kill them swiftly. I need you to understand that, Eden. Everyone who’s there, everyone, was deemed worthy to be there by God. You know, all-knowing, all-powerful, all-just God? God doesn’t make mistakes…” It was something that Balam had told himself time and time again. God couldn’t make mistakes. If they did, then they wouldn’t be perfect. They’d be fallible, and it would call other decisions they’d made into question. Balam couldn’t bear to think about such things. “I’m sorry that your work seems to take a great toll on you, Eden. However, it isn’t your place to simply stop doing it. If you beg, if you plead for mercy, I’m sure they can find you a different post. One better suited to your temperament.” His horn felt.. better. Not great. He could feel the air on the previously unexposed nerves still, but the pain was mostly gone. “Thank you for that.” She’d been the cause of it but.. Balam was willing to call it even. “Come. We need to set up camp. I know some runes that will keep our scent at bay from the archangels, but it only works for a few hours, and it’s stationary. The hounds don’t need sleep, so they can keep watch, but we’ll have to share a tent. I hope you don’t mind getting close.”

Eden knew that, of course she did. It had been drilled into her since childhood. She was supposed to be a drone, a worker, only there to do her job. When she had gotten these ideas, well, she wasn't entirely sure herself. It had started as a feeling, fsrcless than a thought, but something just wrong. It had grown and grown until it plagued her every night. Sighing, she shook her head. "Have you personally seen Lucifer give mercy?" Standing, she stretched, nodding at Balam's words. Her wounded tail unwound from her waist, gently swaying behind her. "Well, it's not like I have a choice. I'm practically your prisoner." Eden's voice was forcibly jovial, as if she were trying to forget her fate, at least for a while. "What should I do?" She asked, tilting her head inquisitively. The hounds no longer bothered her, well, not much, but she was still wary, eyes glancing over every now and then. They seemed calm, and the small demoness was glad for that at the very least. Still, she was curious, and she voiced that curiosity, again, trying to distract herself. "Have you ever met a good human? How do you know God is absolute?" Balam seemed strong in his believes, and one could only wonder why. Was it because he'd never been to the rings, never witnessed the torment? Or was it because he didn't want to believe any different. Eden was curious, and if she were to spend the next two weeks with this man, she might as well learn about him.

“No, I haven’t…” Balam admitted, looking down at his feet. “That doesn’t mean he’s incapable though. Lucifer isn’t the evil man that people make him out to be. He simply had a lapse in judgement, but he was shown mercy and compassion himself when God didn’t send him into Oblivion. It’s not so crazy to believe he’s not capable of the same.” Balam led Eden and the hounds to a clearing in the forest he’d found while catching up to them. It was rather beautiful, with moonlight streaming through the tree leaves onto a grassy patch. The hounds instinctively made a perimeter around them, sitting with their ears perked up, on alert. “If anyone or anything comes within a mile of us, they’ll let us know,” Balam promised Eden. He reached into satchel, all the way up to his shoulder, defying at least the visual physical boundaries of the thing. Out of it he pulled some posts and fabric, some stakes, and rope. It was very old, looking like a tent out of the middle ages, as did the wooden mallet that came last. He instructed Eden on what to do to help him set the tent up, liking how fast she caught onto things. It didn’t take long for it to be standing, the two of them able to step in. It wasn’t incredibly spacious, but there was enough room for both to stand comfortably. He laid them each out a bedroll. “I’ve never met any humans,” Balam admitted to Eden as he kneeled down to paint some runes on the inside walls of the tent. “Their souls, the ones who run, but no… I’ve never met a living one. But I do know God is absolute. I’ve known them for… well, for eternity I suppose you could say…” He glanced back at Eden over his shoulder. “I was one of the Heavenly Hosts.. there before the beginning of beginnings. I watched God create the Heavens and the Earth by simply speaking it into existence. When you see something like that, Eden… you don’t tend to question their judgement.”

*Eden sat down at the edge of the tent, staring up into the sky. If there was one thing she had come to love, it was the night sky, the moon and the stars. She sighed, leaning her head back against a post. This was a view she would miss. "One of the Heavenly Hosts? What did you do to get cast into hell?" A sidelong glance was shot at Balam, while she drew her knees back up to her chest. It was one thing, to know who he was, as the Bringer of Souls, but another to know her was quite literally eons older than the smaller demon. Turning her face to the clearing, she watched the hounds. It was terrifying when they were after her, but once Eden was under their protection, she found that they wasn't so bad. The moonlight found it's way into the tent, a small sliver, but it was enough to illuminate her mismatched eyes. "Would you want to? Meet a live human, I mean." She asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Once the bedroll was out, Eden crawled onto hers, collapsing onto her side and taking her glasses off. Then, deftly unwinding the bindings in her hair, she flipped it back the copper strands curling over her waist. Heterochromic eyes found Balam, and they stayed on him. Looking at him like this, without being chased, he wasn't that bad to look at. Eden would have never guessed that he were eons old. She propped her head on her arm, lips moving to speak. "Does it still hurt? Your horn." It came as a surprise to her that he hadn't rebound her wrists, but a part of her had fully realised her fate. There was no escape, and soon, worry gripped at her. "Balam? What if I don't get mercy?"

“I made a mistake. At creation, many of the Hosts took to different aspects of it. Some wished to tend to the stars. Others wanted to roam the seas and tend to the fish and all the other creatures below. I found myself drawn to nature. The forests, the mountains, and all the animals that lived within it. God saw my love for it and allowed me to tend to a garden.” He met her eyes and gave a sad smile. “To Eden, ironically enough. I loved my duties, but I was instructed to avoid the humans at all costs. I was told they were not yet fully formed, and needed to be guided by God and only God. He’d frequent the garden, walk with them, talk with them, teach them and guide them. Only… one day I was approached by Lucifer. He told me he wanted to see God’s beloved creations for himself and… I let him pass.” Balam sat on his own bedroll, his arms resting on his knees. “It went against God’s instructions to me, that only God may interact with them, only… I was curious too. Why was God giving so much attention and favor to those creatures? In the end, they proved weak willed, and we were all cast out from the Garden, from God’s presence.” There was a long silence that befell the tent, with Balam reflecting on his actions. He often wished he could go back, could do things differently. That one mistake, one, had cost him everything. He was lucky that Lucifer had taken pity on him, had felt responsible, and gave him the job he had as working with the hounds was the closest thing he’d get to tending to the animals of the Earth again. However, Balam wouldn’t call it compassion. Lucifer was still using him as a means to an end. “Humans are ultimately the reason I’m here today. I don’t exactly hold them in the highest of regards.” Though he couldn’t blame them fully. On that day, he was just as weak as those who’d eaten that forbidden fruit. Some nights Balam wondered why it was there to begin with, but.. it wasn’t his place to ask such things. “No, your magic is holding str
ong. Thank you, Eden,” Balam said, rubbing at the stump, It would take getting used to. Even now he noticed the imbalance on his head, but it’d grow back. Slowly, but surely. “Eden, why do you concern yourself of such things? Focus on your present. Let tomorrow worry about itself,” he said quietly, trying to soothe the young demoness’ fears. He moved next to her, running gentle fingers through her hair. “For now, focus on resting. It’ll be a long two weeks, and if you’re stuck dragging your feet through the dirt out of worry, we’ll never get there.”

A soft hum left Eden as fingers ran through her red hair. It was one of the few things she enjoyed. Her hair played with, brushed, braided, a gentle touch was enough to relax the demoness. She blinked, slowly, face to face with her captor. Biting her lip, Eden sighed. "Because today is all I have. I'll run out of tomorrows eventually." She whispered. The forest had gone silent, not even the crickets sounding out. This silence, it was to be relished, occasionally broken by Eden's soft voice. "Why are you soothing me, Balam? I escaped, gave you trouble, hurt you. You have every right to tie to me to a tree and leave me there." Eden chuckled, trying to cheer the older demon up. She could see that his past hurt, even eons later, the sad smile told her as such. Reaching out, the demoness took a lock of white hair, smoothing it between her fingers. "What's your favourite flower?"She asked, in an attempt to distract him from his own thoughts. Balam's hair was smooth, soft as silk, and Eden quite enjoyed the feeling of the strands on her fingertips. The younger demon wasn't sure if she were overstepping a boundary, but Balam had touched her hair, so Eden felt it was fair to do so. She couldn't quite understand why the former Host was trying to ease her worries. Stories had always made him out to be merciless, cold, cruel, and if she thought back on it, the demon realised that he hadn't once done anything cruel to her. The strike to her head was simply to bring her in, a necessary pain. Worries did begin to ease, as she lay there, gazing at Balam. Not a breath passed through her lips, not a sound left her, as her fingers gently touched the ends of his hair. It was rather therapeutic, and Eden quickly got accustomed to the sound of a heartbeat. Steady, strong, reliable

Balam found the act of his fingers raking through the soft red locks to be almost as soothing for himself as it was for her. He was usually isolated, the kennel being just him and the hounds sometimes for decades at a time before the need for them wound arise. He’d get his assignment from Lucifer himself, catch them, bring them in, then return to the kennel. It’d been that way for eons, since he’d been first cast into Hell. “You still don’t know that,” Balam told her, though he could have been telling himself the same thing. There was no way that even Lucifer himself could look at her and think she deserved what the corrupt and wicked did. She’d left. But she was coming back, and willingly at that. Unbound. That had to count for something. It had to… Though while God was just and perfect, Lucifer… wasn’t. “Why am I what..? Oh, this? I’m sorry,” he said, pulling his hand away. It was inappropriate to touch anybody one just met in such a way, most of all a prisoner. Even if it felt every easy to. But then a lock of his own hair was between her fingers. Red eyes cast down to her small hand, watching as it fiddled with him. “Gazanias,” Balam answered without any hesitation, his smile growing fond. “In Eden there was a garden of them that I kept, one that God would walk through frequently. They’re so bright and come in many colors and patterns. In fact…” Balam searched through his satchel and pulled out a single seed. In the dirt just outside the door of the tent, he dug a small hole and dropped it in before covering it back up. Then his hands rested on the dirt mound, and with great concentration… a plant sprouted, and grew, and grew, until there were several flowers in bloom. He picked one and came back in to the tent, giving it to Eden. It was white, with red striped that ran from its center to about a quarter way up each pedal. “These remind me of you, in a way. Multicolored. Multi faceted. They normally only bloom at specific times of the year too. They o
therwise look small and unassuming, maybe even perceived as undesirable. One wouldn’t see how it was valuable. But then they open up and… you realize the beauty that was there all along.” He took the flower and stuck it in Eden’s hair, the colors complimenting her beautifully. Then he stroked her hair some more. “You should get some sleep, Eden.”

The way Eden almost pouted when Balam pulled his hand away was strange. He was her captor, she his prisoners, yet it hardly felt like that. Her wrists were unbound, and the elder demon was being gentle with her. Still, the demoness watched as he pulled a seed from his satchel, and watched as they bloomed in seconds. "So beautiful..." Eden whispered, awe evident in her voice. The lightest tinge of pink hit her cheeks, almost indistinguishable in the silver moonlight as she delicately took hold of the stem. Eden held up the flower to her nose, sniffing at it gently. Another thing she would miss in hell. As Balam started speaking once more, the younger demon gazed at him, a little enthralled. Her blush deepened at the former Host's words. Small and unassuming. That was her. That was how she got out. Not much to look at, nobody ever gave her a second glance. It would be delusional to think Balam was even likening the flower to Eden, and she wanted to accept those delusional thoughts. It helped distract from her future, or lack thereof. Blinking as the elder pushed the flower into her copper locked, Eden almost sighed as Balam stroked her hair. Her tail flicked, and she nodded, stunned into silence. Eden lay down, careful to not crush the flower, and closed mismatched eyes. "Goodnight Balam.." The demoness said quietly. She was reluctant to sleep, but she was tired. The nightmares would come, Eden knew. Soon her breathing evened out, slowed down, and she drifted off into peaceful slumber. It wasn't long before the nightmares began, a couple of hours. Eden watched everything, unable to stop it. It wasn't the human souls being healed and tortured, it was herself. The young demoness whimpered slightly, sweat beading at her brow. Her tail whipped in her fear, and she tossed and turned. Eden avoided sleep as often as she could, for two reasons. The nightmares and the fact that there was so much to see and do on the mortal realm.

Balam sat up for a while after Eden had drifted asleep, his mind fat too preoccupied to allow him any sort of rest. As he looked down at Eden’s sleeping, almost innocent form, he couldn’t help but to let thoughts that he’d kept at bay for eons start to creep into the corner of his mind. Why was it forbidden for the demons to leave Hell? Why did so few interact with humans? There was one question that bagged at him most of all though. How did even one action make eternal torment justified? Balam wouldn’t call his role itself torment, but he would call the separation from nature almost worse. He only got it in spurts, and was never able to enjoy it, even though it felt like he was made for it. Or even like it was made for him… The grass. The trees. Rivers, flowers, desert plains, the birds, the critters, even humans themselves. He’d always had an odd curiosity for them back in Eden. That’s why he’d let Lucifer in. To hear anything he could about them. He played with the grass beneath him between his fingers, between his now bare toes, cherishing it. Life. When one dealt in so much death, life felt so precious. His thoughts were interrupted by Eden, tossing and turning beside him. Balam frowned, having never seen anybody experience a nightmare before. She seemed like she was in pain. “Eden… Eden! Wake up, dear,” he said, shaking her small frame. “Eden..”

The touch dragged Eden from the depths of her nightmare, and mismatched eyes shot open, a gasp leaving her. It took her a few moments to really grasp where she was, and sitting up, she gazed around her, eyes falling on Balam. Tears welled up, and she launched herself at him, burying her face into his chest. "T-they tortured m-me.... over and over....." Eden cried, her words muffled. It was strange, that she were sought comfort from the very demon who was taking her back, but he was the only one there, and the only one to have shown her kindness. That meant something to Eden, however misplaced it was. She was fragile, terrified, and her smaller form shook as she cried. "Balam.... I'm s-sorry..." She sniffed, "I should have never left.... it's my fault." Of course, she knew that. The punishment would be recieved, however extreme it was. But it would come later, two weeks from now and Eden didn't want to think about it. She didn't want to think of the skinning and healing. She didn't want to think of the burning pokers. Her tail wrapped around her waist as the demoness shrunk in on herself, curling up against the elder's chest. Unbound hair flowed down her back, as her fists tightened in his shirt.

The sudden display of emotions, of tears, of terror, took Balam completely by surprise. When she clutched his chest, there was a brief moment when he almost reached for his knife, unsure if she’d gone deranged and was trying to murder him and escape. Her words broke through to him though. The recollection of her dream nearly broke his heart. Balam knew what kind of punishment could befall Eden, of course, but it wasn’t until that moment that it seemed real. She’d be skinned alive. Burned. Flayed. Stabbed. Drowned in magma. Over. And over. And over again. It was a fate so horrific it inspired one to simply not think about it. If they did, they’d surely wonder how even the most wicked, deplorable soul would deserve such a fate. “Eden.. Shh… I’m here,” Balam whispered to her. “I’m not going to let them hurt you. I promise. We’re going to return to Hell, and I’ll appeal to Lucifer myself on your behalf.” Such a thing was almost unheard of, a demon of any sort stepping in for the mistakes of another. Then again, Balam wasn’t a demon. Not really. At least, he hadn’t always been. And he was starting to suspect that he never truly embraced the identity either. To think of Eden, the small, beautiful creature in his arms being treated so horribly made Balam nearly sick to his stomach. He wouldn’t let it happen, he decided then and there. He’d die first, be cast into Oblivion.

A tear stained face turned up to face Balam, lips in a pout. He wouldn't let them? For the first time, hope bloomed in her mismatched eyes, though it was tentative. She was still confused, on why he'd help her, why he'd protect her. She'd caused him pain, after all. Sniffling, Eden nodded, moving a hand to wipecat her eyes. It was then that she realised her position, and turned deep red in embarrassment. "I-I...uhm..." She stammered, cheeks a bright red. Of all people, Eden had turned to her captor for comfort. Except, he didn't feel like a captor, and she hardly felt like a prisoner. Shuffling back, Eden sat on her knees, fists upon them. "I'm sorry.... that was inappropriate of me...." The words she spoke were sure, yet everything in her mind contradicted her. Balam had touched her hair, given her a flower, had untangled her tail when he could have knocked her out. That same tail thumped against the bedroll in her nerves. What am I doing? She thought to herself. The slightest bit of affection, and she turned to him for comfort. Eden bit at her lip, an all out war in her mind. She had touched his hair too, and he had let her. Did he think her an enemy still? Another glance was sent Balam's way, her cheeks heating up in the process. Sure, she was nervous, but the former Host hadn't given her a reason to be. Her heart thundering loudly in her chest, and she pushed her hair behind a long, pointed ear. "H-have you slept?" Eden cleared her throat, frowning at the very obvious stutter. Well done Eden, just great. Why don't you tell him everything now? A sarcastic voice in her mind sounded, and Eden pushed the thought away. He was still taking her back... even if he promised her she wouldn't be hurt.

The shift from sadness to being almost fidgety was so stark and sudden tant it nearly gave Balam whiplash. Being previously so isolated, he was having to work hard, struggle even to keep up with the demoness. It was making him a bit flustered himself. “No, don’t worry about it, Eden,” Balam tried the assure her, red eyes seemingly unable to met her own though. It hadn’t felt inappropriate until she’d said something, and once she had, their dynamic, or what was supposed to be their dynamic came back to the front of his mind. Was this all a trick? Was she messing with his mind? Or was he simply… growing fond of her? “No, I haven’t, but that’s okay. I’m used to going days, sometimes weeks without it,” Balam assured her. “That tossing and turning… you were.. imagining the future? Or were you seeing it like some sort of Prophetess?” Balam had dreamt before, but nothing like she seemed to experience. Never something so real that his whole body reacted to it. Never to the point that he woke up in terror and in a cold sweat. Balam moved closer to the girl, examining her, before he finally raked his fingers through her hair once more, something that had clearly become some sort of personal sign of affection for her. “Do all the demons down in the ring look like you?” he asked curiously. “Are they all so… small and attractive?” he meant nothing forward about it, was perfectly earnest, and didn’t think of how it could have sounded suggestive, even bold.

"Something like that." Eden shrugged, a pitiful lift of her shoulders. Her nightmares plagued her every night, and had ever since she caught wind of the hellhounds. The demoness had barely suffered them back in hell, but here, they had ramped up, in frequency and intensity. It left her terrified every time. Glancing out of the window, Eden stared at the moonlight, until Balam moved closer, until his hand ran through her hair once more. A soft sound left Eden, akin to a purr, her furrowed brows smoothing out. Something about fingers through her red locks sent relaxation, and more through the younger demoness. Her tail thumped gently, and much like a cat, her head unconsciously nuzzled Balam's hand. Mistmatched eyes had closed, and opened once a question left the elder. "They come in all different shapes, sizes, looks. Some are ten feet tall, some smaller than me. I'm not so sure about attractive...." *Eden chuckled, a glint of happiness in her eyes. She paused for a moment, until his words really set in. "You.... think I'm attractive?" The demon blinked, a bated breath held, hetetochromic eyes steady on the man before her. Eden had never been called attractive, and any night she had spent with another had always been in a drunken stupor. That hadn't happened often, demon's were vain, and she had always been considered dull. After all why go after Eden when succubi existed? Balam was a very handsome man, and Eden had already acknowledged that when she had first met him. It wasn't uncommon for a higher up to be ugly, but then again, she had never felt drawn to another, comfortable like this.

“Your hair is soft, and a pretty red. I find your eyes fascinating... captivating. Your lips are full and look rather soft. Your nose even is… cute,” was the only word he could think to describe it. A strong finger then traced the mark that started just below her lip and went down her chin. Those same, blade-shaped markings seemed to weave their way across her entire body. “I find it hard to believe that this is news to you. Surely other demons hold the same opinion…” To Balam, it seemed so objectively true. That purr… The way she reacted, it only made Balam continue his motions. If it put her at obvious ease, why not? Why do you care so much about her mental and physical well-being though? he asked himself in his head. That, he still wasn’t quite sure of. After a couple of minutes of the two of them relaxing, practically coming unraveled, Balam noticed that the light outside the tent was getting brighter. The sun was coming up. “We should go,” he told Eden, pulling his hand away so he could step outside the tent. Orange beams of sunlight were streaming through the canopy of the forest, the hounds now gathered in a pile of black fur. “To think I entrust my safety to you mutts,” Balam teased them. Azrael just lifted his head and have a yawn, a little high pitched sound very unbecoming of a hellhound coming with it.

Eden's lips parted, as Balam traced the marking at her chin. Like a snake charmed, she was utterly captivated. "If they did, I've never been told." The demoness said, blinking slowly. It was true, that she had never been told, but it was also true that Eden was rather socially inept. Cues were hard for her understand, and if anyone had flirted with her, then she was unaware of it. Why am I letting him do this? Her own thoughts swirled around her head, confusing, as she gazed at Balam. He was indeed attractive, and though she had met other attractive people, they had never affected her like this. "I like your eyes. They're like rubies. A-and your hair.... it's so pretty..." She shyly told him, swallowing her nerves. Her trance was broken by his pulling his hand away, and she turned her head, watching the sun rise. Eden nodded, flustered, and crawled out of the tent, then standing and stretching. The demoness was unaccustomed to sleeping on the ground, and while there had been a bedroll, it was still rather thin. Eden bound her hair once more, glancing towards the hounds. She couldn't help but giggle. They looked so cute, so different from the snarling wolves yesterday. Slowly advancing, Eden dropped to her knees, and reached out a hand out to the one called Azrael, holding it just before him. She would wait to see if he would allow her to pet him.

Balam started to break down the tent, loosening the stakes until the whole thing collapsed so he could coil the rope, fold the fabric, and collect the posts. He was almost finished packing when he happened to glance up and see Eden near the hounds. holding her hand up to Azrael while the dog curiously sniffed it, then licked it with his large and wet tongue. Balam couldn’t help but to grin from ear to ear. Azrael gave a bark, but it was friendly, leading him to smile at the tiny demoness. He climbed off from the pile of his brothers and rolled onto his back, looking up to Eden expectantly. “He wants you to rub his tummy.” Balam said from behind Eden. A strong hand went into the small of the girl’s back as Balam has her kneel next to him beside Azrael. “You’re such a good boy,” Balam cooed, rubbing the dog’s lower belly, silently encouraging Eden to do the same. “You’ve been so good being away from home for long.” It didn’t take long at all for the other two dogs to want to receive similar attention, and Balam was soon on the ground with them, laugh and petting them as they happily barked and licked at his face, clearly wanting Eden to get in on the affection as well. Azrael stood on his hind legs, placing his front paws on Eden’s shoulders, showing he was even longer than she was tall. “I think Azrael has taken a particular liking to you,” Balam told her with a little smirk. “There’s far worse things to have in this world than the love and loyalty of a hellhound.”

The small demoness giggled as Azrael rolled onto his back, and she shuffled closer, running a hand across a furry belly. His fur was soft, long and thick, and Eden enjoyed the feeling of it between her fingers. "You're not so scary, are you boy?" She said softly, a happy smile on her face. Eden watched as Balam played with the other hounds, and she couldn't help but laugh at how different they all seemed. From snarling hunters, to yipping goofballs. It was an endearing sight. Soon Azrael was up, and giant paws on her shoulders. It unbalanced her, and she crashed into the pile of pup and demon, a loud squeal leaving her. Eden lay there stunned for a moment, and after a moment, a pure, happy laugh bubbled from her throat. Her hands reached up to ruffle Azrael's fur, laying in the midst of warmth. "You're right." She answered Balam, while giving equal attention to the other hounds, "I love canines..." Eden admitted quietly, casting a glance over at the elder. She enjoyed how they never seemed to judge one, unless told that, that is. Her finger's raked through the hounds fur, scratching and massaging, enjoying their presence. "I see why you love them Balam, they're really cute." Eden caught his red gaze, and she stuck her tongue out at his little smirk. This, it was a morning that Eden would remember. Carefree, happy, if only for a moment. She wanted every morning to be like this. (edited)

The pure joy that Eden was emitting reminded him of himself, a long time ago. Back when he’d run through the gardens, laughing and playing with animals that would one day be hunter and prey, back before Death was even a concept that he could fathom. Eden. It seemed in both instances, the name, to Balam, meant joy. “I hate to cut your time short, Eden, but we must be going,” Balam finally said, looking to the skies with a bit of nervousness. They’d spent too long here as it was, and with the tent taken down, there were no more runes to disguise them. He needed to be more careful in the future, or else it wouldn’t matter just how much he was growing fond of Eden. They could both wind up dead. They set off, heading towards the rising sun to the East. Balam was constantly trying to spur Eden to pick up the pace. While her drive and determination were admirable, and she tried, her little legs were having trouble keeping up with Balam and the hounds’ long strides. Finally, he had an epiphany and picked the younger demoness up and set her directly onto the back of Azrael. The hound seemed to have no qualms, and in fact gave a delighted bark when he realized he could now have scratches behind his ears for the duration of their journey. The days were short, passing quickly with Balam telling tales of his days amongst the garden. There’d be times where he’d try and tell her about before creation, but his mind grew fuzzy, which he chalked up to no longer being used tu thinking of the time before time as it were. He asked Eden questions about herself as well. How long she’d been alive, how she even came to be, the source of her powers. It seemed that even for as long as Balam had been around, he’d been kept isolated from the rest of angelic or demonic society, let out of his tower to fulfill his duties before returning, making him both incredibly wise, but also incredibly ignorant at the same time. Around noon on their third day together, they were out on a dir
t road crossing a valley between mountains when Balam saw a plume of smoke. The hounds were curious as well, so they went to investigate, traversing up a nearby hill to view a human town below. It was modern, but quiet, with little cars driving up and down the maybe ten streets it had. It was quaint. “Hmm.. maybe we should take a different path,” Balam mused.

Eden pouted when she realised it was time to go. Balam looked nervous, as she tilted her head as she studied him. It was for that reason that she nodded without argument, no matter how sick the coming days made her feel. With a final scritch behind Azrael's ears, Eden stood, stretching her legs out. "Lead the way." She smiled. She tried, did her best to keep up with the taller demon, but her legs were smaller, the terrain difficult. She was quickly becoming exhausted, which led her to trail back. While the demoness had kept herself hidden for two weeks, that's what most of it was; hiding. She had only ran at the start and at the end. It was a welcome surprise when Balam picked her up, placing her on Azrael's back. It came as no surprise that even on all fours, the hound was huge. She had laid her torso down, legs gripping the hounds sides tightly, and closed her eyes. The steady rhythm of him running had lulled her to an uneasy sleep. The times Eden was awake, she conversed with Balam, and quickly finding herself becoming fond on him. She told him of her powers, which included, healing, glamours, and at a higher level, regrowth. She could heal the ground if she chose to. "I'm 922." She had laughed. Edencasked about Balam too. What he liked to do, how long he'd had the hounds for, what he did in his free time. She wanted to learn about the former Host. Soon they happened upon the small village, and Eden perked up, idly scratching behind Azrael's ears. They had made good time, it seemed, and she peered at the sky. There was no sign of any angels, and when Balam spoke of taking another path, she protested. "We've been travelling for days, non stop Balam. I'm tired, and hungry." Eden pouted, gazing pitifully up at the elder demon. "Let's go look what they have..." A look of concentration appeared on a delicate face, and soon her horns, tail and markings disappeared. They were gone. Well, hidden to be exact. Opening her eyes, she revealed that she had even changed
her slit pupils to round ones, the only strange thing about her was the heterochromia. "Let me show you live humans Balam. Just for a little while." She said gently, holding a hand out to him. Ultimately, it was his choice whether he allowed Eden to do this.

Live humans? Even from afar, the people he did see, looking like little insects scurrying to and fro, made him wary. Balam wished he could say that they couldn’t afford to get sidetracked, but they needed to eat and… gurgle… he was pretty hungry. “Okay, but we can’t stay long,” Balam warned her. “We’ll just go, eat, get some rest, and then move on. We don’t have time to meander, and even though it’s a small town, any sort of human presence increases the chances of angels being in the area. Just… be careful, okay?” He gave her a worried look, though it faded slightly as she transformed before his very eyes. She looked almost indistinguishable from a human, save for the scent of brimstone, but he was sure their noses weren’t as keen as his own. With some concentration, Balam’s own horns retracted, as did his tail, with the only distinguishing feature of his divine identity being his ruby-red eyes. He’d just have to make sure to avoid eye-contact. “What do we do about the hounds though?” Balam asked, giving the nearest one to himself a scratch behind the ear. “The moment they see them, they’ll be terrified.”

It was true that they couldn't stay long, and when Balam agreed, Eden gave a little squeal, a happy smile on her face. She was starving, and days on the road hadn't really given her a good rest. She was tired. Balam's question have her pause however, and she idly scratched Azrael behind the ear, biting at her lip. Being on the other end of the hounds, she could see why humans would think them terrifying, she herself had. Though now was different for her, humans would react the same, with fear. It would take another glamour, and Eden could do it, even if it drained her a little. She felt safer with the hounds at her side. Sliding from Azrael's back, she stroked his side, whispering assurances at him. "It's okay boy, you won't feel any different." Eden whispered. As she did so, Azrael appeared to shrink, becoming the size of a labrador. Then, beckoning the other two over, she did the same to them. "T-there we go...." Eden stammered slightly, a little out of breath. Holding 4 glamours was a strain on her power, and she wasn't exactly sure how long she could hold it. That was something she refused to tell Balam. If she told him, then he'd keep them moving, and she wouldn't be able to see the village. So stubbornly, she set forward, starting the walk to the town. "Can we find somewhere with a shower? And a bed? I want to get clean." Eden asked brightly, almost seeming to skip. She was excited, that was for sure, and she laid a hand on Azrael, giving him a scratch.* "I think he likes me." She giggled.

Watching the hounds shrink down felt so strange to Balam. He knew how glamours worked, knew that they weren’t actually a quarter of their original size, but the work that Eden did was impeccable. “You’re sure you’ll be able to hold all this, Eden?” Balam asked warily. It was a lot of magic to expend at once just to make the changes, much less hold them. She seemed sure though, or at least presented herself as sure, so Balam sighed and started to follow her. As they approached the town, Balam’s heart thumped harder in his chest. His hands were clammy, his mouth was dry, and he was he was afraid that that he’d drop his own glamour, that he’d reveal himself to these people and cause a terror in their souls so great that the angels would surely come. Every so often, he’d glance towards the sky, half expecting to see three pairs of wings and a flaming sword heading straight at them. When they reached the edge of the town, Balam saw that these humans were different than their souls. While their souls were amorphous, barely holding the shape of a body, these people were alive and real. Physical. They had hands and feet. Their faces were all so different. They were of all shapes and sizes, ages, colors. But it was one thing that stood out to Balam amongst all the others. It was the tiny humans. Balsam had no concept for that, for a baby with the only live humans he’d ever seen either being created as adults, or seen from great distances. This… tiny human that a woman was holding, playing with, making faces at on a bench… it exuded an innocence that Balam didn’t think was possible. “Eden.. that.. that tiny little person in that woman’s hands. Was that poor creature created defective? It seems so… helpless. So innocent..”

Holding four glamours was indeed difficult, and it left the demoness feeling quite weak, though she refused to show it. Excitement coursed through her, and she smiled at the various people. A hand went to touch Azrael's shoulder, before Eden realised she couldn't. The moment one touched the hounds, the glamour would be broken. It was an illusion, nothing more. Sighing softly, she looked over her shoulder at Balam, tilting her head. He looked nervous, and she paused, gazing for just a moment. Sighing, she slipped her hand into the Elder's, squeezing gently. "It's okay Balam. No one here will find out, I promise." Hid hand in her's was warm, clammy, but alive. Eden held onto that warmth, not only for the elder demon, but for herself. She was nervous, and the glamours she held were putting a strain on her, the only visible marker being the fine tremors that ran through her body. Sue had never done this much in one go. Balam's question brought her out of reverie, and she glanced up at him, following his gaze to a mother and child. Her face softened, and Eden smiled, a gentle stretch of soft lips. "That's a child Balam. A baby. They are innocent, helpless, defenseless. Not defective.... just little." That led her to wonder if demons could have children. Ever since Eden could remember, she had just been... there. She couldn't remember a stage where she grew up, or played with other children like she saw now, and a wistful sigh left her. "Let's find an inn... somewhere to relax for a while. You can ward whatever room we stay in." Eden said as she picked up her pace. The strain was a little much, and they had come here to rest. Pulling Balam along, she opened a door, the bell ringing. "Hi! Room for two please?" An easy smile spread across her face, as yet another glamour worked its way over the hounds. Most places didn't allow dogs, so this glamour worked to make them invisible for just a moment. A bead of sweat slipped down a bruised temple, and Eden was reliev
ed when the receptionist handed her a key.

The human inn almost made Balam tell Eden that they couldn’t stay, that they’d simply have to go find a place in the woods to camp out again, and that he’d even let her use his bedroll in addition to hers for extra comfort. His hand was tight in her own, squeezing it, and he wasn’t sure if they were shaking from her exhaustion or his nerves. Probably both. The receptionist though, she was… nice, just giving them a key to the room. Was this human hospitality? The two of them just walked in, asked for a place to stay, and they were just… granted it? Eden was right, there weren’t many demons that would do anything like that. He’d venture to say there were none but.. he was holding the hand of one he thought might. “T-thank you, madam,” Balam said, though he avoided her gaze to keep her from noticing his eyes. “This is too kind. I’m not sure how we can repay you for this generosity,” Balam said with gratitude dripping in his voice. “Oh, well.. if you don’t think you’ll be able to pay, I won’t be able to let you stay here. Rooms are about a hundred a night… Can you afford that?” she asked warily, not wanting to cause trouble, but also not wanting to lose her job. “A hundred..? A hundred what? A hundred of anything is a lot to ask of someone,” Balam said, now starting to get annoyed. “What? Money, sir.” She seemed to be getting just as annoyed. Balam looked at Eden, clearly confused, hoping she’d be able to clear this up.

Though Eden was tired, she couldn't help but watch in amusement at the interaction. It was becoming clearer and clearer to the demoness that Balam had had zero interaction with humanity before this. Stepping in as the elder turned to her helplessly, and she squeezed his hand, his already tight grip encompassing her smaller hand. "I'm so sorry Miss, my husband is tired. We've been travelling a while," Eden smiled, reaching into a pouch to pull out a hundred dollars. "This will pay for the night, yes?" The demoness leaned on the counter, watching as the woman glared at Balam, the took the money. "Of course. Enjoy your stay." The receptionist was haughty, glancing at the pair she felt to he quite strange. Eden nodded, and began to pull the former Host along. When she'd gotten far enough away, the small demoness burst into laughter, and opened the door to their room. "Holy hell, are you okay?" She chuckled, leading them into the room. It was a large room, simply decorated, with an en suite bathroom. Realising she still held Balam's hand, she quickly let go, blushing a light pink. "Don't worry about the husband bit... it was just easier to tell her that..." *She looked up from under her lashes at Balam, fidgeting a little. Eden sat on the large bed, and let go of every glamour she'd been holding. The sudden wave left her quite dizzy, and she swallowed, closing her eyes against it. Azrael pushed his snout against her palm, and she idly patted it. "Ward the room please..."

“Am I oka- What did you just give her?” Balam asked. To him it looked like nothing more than green parchment, and there was certainly less than a hundred of them. Human customs were already proving to be confounding to the former Host. Before he could dwell on it too long though, Balam walked into the room and found it… beautiful. There were works of art hanging on the walls, sources of light next to the bed, soft carpet beneath his feet. And the bed itself? It was so much more lavish than the small cot he slept in night after night in Hell that he was almost afraid to get into it lest he spoil himself. It felt like the sort of room that he’d imagine in Lucifer’s palace. Eden and the hounds were suddenly back to their normal forms, the hounds instantly rolling around on the soft carpet, letting it rub pleasantly against their skin. “As if I could ever be believed to have married a woman of your high quality,” Balam chuckled. He set down his satchel and brought out his paint brush, walking to the door of the suite and painting the runes that glowed orange and seemed to almost melt into the door itself. “There. That should give us ample time to rest.” Balam peeked his head into the bathroom and noticed the shower. “Eden? What is this thing?” He himself usually bathed in streams while on Earth or went to one of the bubbling springs of Hell.

"That? Oh, it's something humans call money. I had to borrow a lot when I got here. It's used for everything." Eden visibly shuddered. Having to ask for help was something she hated to do. Giggling as the hounds rolled around the floor, soon joining them on the fluffy carpet. This room was certainly luxurious, definitely better than any room she had stayed in before. The bed looked like it could swallow her whole, entrap her in a soft embrace. She couldn't wait to sleep in it. Balam's comment had her blush, her cheeks turning a bright pink, her tail flicking every now and then, and the small demoness buried her face in Azrael's fur, who didn't seem to mind it much. High quality? That was something she found difficult to believe, yet, it made her happy that Balam thought her in such a way. Lifting her face, she watched as the elder painted the runes on, and instantly felt safer. A sort of relaxation washed over Eden, and mismatched eyes watched as Balam peeked his head into the bathroom. His question piqued her curiosity, and she picked herself up off the floor, patting the hounds as she did so. Peeking her own head in under Balam's arm, Eden's eyes immediately found the shower, and they lit up, a happy giggle leaving her. "That, Balam, is a shower. You clean yourself under it." Eden squeezed into the bathroom, and opened the shower door, turning the knob to the left. "It gives you hot and cold water. It's so relaxing, honestly." The demoness held her hand under the water for a little while, just enjoying the warmth. When it felt to a right enough temperature, Eden slipped her clothes off, all of them, and took off her glasses. She unbound her hair, and stepped under the hot stream of water. Almost immediately, a long sigh left her, and she turned to face Balam, tilting her head slightly. "Take your clothes off. We can share the shower." She smiled, a completely relaxed look on her face. Nudity was next to natural for the young demoness, and it was only when sh
e left hell that she found out humans required clothes. Luckily, a lovely woman had given her her clothes, saying it would be cold soon. The hot water hit her petite, shapely form, rivulets forming over her breasts.

A shower? Like rain? Balam thought to himself as Eden approached the contraption. She opened its door and turned a nozzle, and it was very much like rain, coming from the silver nozzle, only with the concentrated pressure of a waterfall. Humans had made this? It was ingenious… Eden was soon stripped down to nothing, revealing her bare, pale skin and her womanly curves. Balam didn’t balk or miss a beat, he himself wearing clothes out of practicality more than anything. One didn’t want to leave their bare skin and most delicate areas open to the sometimes harsh elements of the Earth. Still, his eyes did wander, did admire her. There was much about Eden to be desired… The elder immediately began to strip himself, wanting to feel the hot water rolling over his body. Visiting the springs in Hell was one of the only perks of the place. This though… this seemed very refreshing. Once he was naked, revealing a form that could literally be described as being crafted by God himself, Balam stepped into the shower and beneath the stream with Eden, letting out a satisfied moan. “Oh… Oh yes… Yes, I like this very much..” Balam half-laughed. He placed his head beneath the water, letting it soak his head and his long white hair. The Host moved aside to let Eden have another turn, their bodies so close that they brushed together with practically every move that they made. On the ledge he saw a bottle, and upon opening it, upon smelling it, he was grinning like a fool. “Eden, are these soaps?” He knew about soap, about how Lucifer would rub himself down with the stuff every night so he could get the dreadful smell of brimstone, the ever present reminded of his lot in eternity, off his body, no matter how briefly. “May I wash you? Then you can wash me?”

Eden watched as Balam undressed himself, revealing a perfectly toned body, and she found herself staring, mismatched eyes roaming up and down his body. She swallowed and turned towards the wall as he moved in behind her, her heart beginning a strange beat. The demoness pressed a hand to her chest, trying to calm her heart. It only increased as Balam voiced his appreciation in a way that could be considered lewd. Eden's cheeks turned a light pink, and as the Host moved to let her have the water, Eden tipped her face up to it, letting the hot water hit her face. She closed her eyes, letting out a sigh of her own, and another, each time their bodies brushed together. It was like electricity, sparking at each point of contact. Her copper hair darkened with the water, and Eden turned towards Balam as he spoke again. "Hm? Ah, yeah! They smell amazing, right?" Balam's joy was infectious, and soon a smile was spreading across the younger demon's face. It brought Eden happiness to watch the Elder demon discover new things, experience more, and her happiness grew at the fact that she could experience it with him. His question had her shocked, and she nodded, albeit shyly. "You want to wash me?" She asked, sheepishly. "O-okay.." Though she knew it innocent on Balam's end, and practical, she couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest. She picked up a gel, a vanilla scented one, and handed it to Balam, pressing it gently into his hand. "That one. It's my favourite scent." Eden enjoyed vanilla, the sweet, yet warming scent. It was much better than brimstone, and one of the reasons she didn't want to go back to hell. "Balam? Be careful with my tail, okay?" Eden was nervous, visibly so, and it was hard to tell whether it was because of Balam, or that her tail would be touched.

The scent of vanilla pods mixed with rum filled his senses and he couldn’t help but to experimentally place his tongue against the gel… that was a mistake. Balam laughed a shuddered at the same time. It definitely wasn’t food. “I will be,” Balam promised, figuring it was just because some human had yanked at her tail once before. Balam rubbed his hands together, amazed at how the soap lathered into a bubbly foam. Strong, soapy hands pressed against Eden’s body, with Balam having to kneel in the shower in order to reach most of her. He started at her neck and worked his way down her shoulders, her arms, her chest. His hands washed around the mounds of her breasts with no qualm, with the only thought going through his mind being that he thought they were beautiful things. He worked lower then, over her flat little tummy, her hips, then turned her around and washed her perky bum. Then he came up to her tail… Balam’s touch slowed, became more gentle. He started at her base, then stroked her, working his way across her tail a little bit at a time, just stroking small sections of it back and forth.. back and forth… back and forth in his closed hand.

The sight of the elder demon attempting to taste the soap had Eden giggle, and it eased her tension some, his laugh infectious. She watched as the elder rubbed his hands together, and the moment he put his hands on her, a long sigh left the younger demoness. His large hands started at her neck, massaging in little circles, before working his way to her arms. The scent of vanilla rose from her skin, the slightest kick of rum mixed in, and Eden closed her eyes as Balam washed her arms. He then moved to her chest, and her mismatched eyes shot open, as the Host's fingers worked their way around her soft breasts. A moan caught in her throat, and her cheeks turned red. Balam had kneeled down to wash her, and she watched his expression, her own a flustered mess. The end of her tail had wrapped around Balam's leg, almost unconsciously, a sign of trust from Eden. She'd asked him to be gentle, and soon she was turned around, her ass washed. Eden braced herself the moment she felt Balam's hands on her tail. It was gentle, just as she'd asked him to be, until he started to massage the long appendage. "B-Balam!" Eden stuttered as pleasure shot up her spine. Her hands braced against the wall, and she looked over her shoulder at the elder demon. Another moan left her, quiet, as she tried to suppress it, as she gazed at Balam. The look on his face told her he had absolutely no idea what he was doing to her, and her thighs squeezed together, while she bit her lip. His kneeling left even less room in the shower, and Eden was pressed against the cold tile, her back arched while Balam unknowingly sent pleasure running through the small demon. "S-stop...." Eden whimpered lowly, while a voice in her head said the opposite. Don't stop. She was flushed, her body hot, her tail handled by the kneeling Balam. "I-I have to wash you too."

Balam looked up at Eden, a slightly worried expression on his face. Had he hurt her? He knew her tail was sensitive, it hurt like nothing else when his own got caught up in something, but he thought he was being more than gentle enough with her. Perhaps it was hypersensitive, and that’s why she felt the need to say something at all. “Oh, yes. Of course…” Balam took the removable shower head and used the gentle, warm stream to rinse the younger demon’s ass and her tail, being very through, making sure all the suds were washed away before he placed the shower head back. He picked up a couple more bottles of soaps, smelling them. One smelled like strawberries and cream, and he had to fight the urge to not try and eat that one too. The other smelled like… “Ah.. Eucalyptus and.. citrus.” It smelled clean, refreshing, and he very much never wanted to smell brimstone ever again now. He handed the soap to Eden his own tail wrapping around the girl’s waist in a sigh of trust. “I have to admit, I was wrong. I’m glad you convinced me to come here,” Balam said quietly, his red eyes sleepy looking at this point. They’d been a long few days, and after they got out of the shower, he was looking forward to crawling under the soft blankets on the magnificent bed, and to hold Eden close for warmth. The hot water on her tail did nothing to ease Eden's heat, and she soon switched places with the elder demon. Clearing her throat, she took the fresh smelling gel from Balam squeezing a healthy amount into her small hand. "Stay still..." Eden had Balam stay kneeled, as it was easier for her to was him. Much in the same fashion, she started at his neck, her nimble fingers massaging in small circles, before she moved to his shoulders, kneading and squeezing. As his tail wrapped around her waist, a thought popped into her head. Is he as sensitive as I am? A smile formed on Eden's face as she worked her way down his torso, extra attentive, making sure to get everywhere. She motioned for Balam to stand, and when he did, the smaller demoness started to wash his hips, his his groin, gently. She then turned him around, washing his toned bum. It was then that she paused, and squeezed a little more of the gel into her hand. She enjoyed this scent, fresh, clean, refreshing. Balam was sleepy, Eden could see, so she would waste no time in finishing washing the elder demon. Her hands soapy, the demon started at the base of Balam's tail, gently, fingers wrapped around the impish appendage. Her face upturned, she watched the Host quietly, her chest rising and falling softly. "It's okay. Humans aren't so bad, huh?" Eden giggled, as she worked her way down Balam's tail, slowly, gently, hoping to show him exactly how her tail had felt.

The skin to skin contact with either was already pretty foreign to the elder, but when she reached his tail… His whole body shuddered as the most pleasant shiver ran up his spine. Oh. This was why she wanted him to be careful. This was…. pleasant? He wasn’t sure it was the word. It was far from painful, but the sensations were still overwhelming, making Balam’s breathing deepen immensely. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to swat her hand away or have this never, ever end… He leaned his arms against the tiled wall, rested his forehead against them. White teeth dig into his lower lip as he struggled to hold back a sound that was trying very hard to escape. Between his legs, he could feel blood rushing to a certain other sensitive appendage. “Eden..” Balam finally got out, a mixture of a whisper and a moan. “I.. I think I’m clean.. now..”

But Balam's reaction, was something so different to the younger demon, that she just wanted to see more of it. He had done the same to her, albeit unknowingly. He had also stopped when she had asked him too, but Eden now knew Balam had no idea about his own sensitivity. Balam wondered if being dipped into the magma pits of Hell would feel less torturous than this. Every little twitch, every stroke sent waves of almost unbearable euphoria shooting up Balam’s spine. Was this revenge? Oh, most certainly, but in his defense, if he’d known this is what he’d done to her… well, he very may well have still done it. It was her attitude though that about drove Balam up the wall. The way she teased him. The way she held her power over his head. It was delightful and infuriating all at once. How would she like it if… Balam stood, his foot and a half height over the demoness becoming apparent once more. He pushed her against the tile wall, trapping her, his red eyes containing no hint of the weariness they had just moments before. Now? They were hungry. Balam took Eden’s tail in his still soapy hand and stroked it, still gentle, but with much greater speed. He had her trapped there, pinned, with nowhere to go and no way to make him stop except to beg. “I’ll stop when you do,” Balam said with a low voice that was a mixture of an affectionate purr and a warning growl. “Why don’t you really make sure I’m clean, Eden?” His cock was pressed against the girl’s bare stomach, throbbing despite the fact that there was no direct contact to it. His hand’s movement on her tail grew faster. “Be very, very thorough…”

Eden Teivel BOT 03-Dec-21 11:01 AM
The demoness was very much enjoying herself, his sounds and reactions pleasing her, and a giggle left her lips. She blinked, for only a moment, before she was suddenly pushed against the tiled wall, face to face with a rather... toned chest. Eden swallowed, and mismatched eyes travelled up, across Balam's chest, over his neck, his lips and nose, until she finally met a hungry crimson gaze. Eden's head leaned against the cold tiles, lips parted, the slightest bit of shock on her face. The elder's tail was still in her grasp, though she had ceased all movement in her surprise. It was then that Balam took a hold of her tail, still in a gentle grip, and began to stroke. Eden's eyes widened, and a mewl left her, her cheeks turning a soft pink. "B-Balam..." His name was a whimper on her lips, while her eyes held a weakness, a pleasure that Eden hadn't felt before. The growl sent heat through her, and she growled back, although it was weaker. The Host's words were warning her, yet they only egged her on to continue. Her hand started it's motions once more, starting at the base, and moving down, as her eyes dropped to the thrombin member that lay against her stomach. "Oh? Want me to clean everywhere, Oh Mighty One?" *Her eyes met his once more, a challenge in them, even as her knees weakened, only the wall holding her up. This proximity, this *heat, was delicious, and Eden wanted more. Pleasure coursed through the smaller demoness, and she leaned her head forward against Balam's chest, a slight pant leaving her. A wetness has spread between her thighs, and as she squeezed them together, her free hand stroked against his abs, travelling lower and lower, teasing, deliciously slow. "You o-okay down here?" The challenge and tease was still in Eden's voice, though it was loweed slightly by a pleasured stutter.

Balam took Eden’s hand and brought it away from his throbbing length, pinning it against the wall next to his head. “Oh, none of that you little minx,” Balam said with a smirk. “This is simply about getting clean. Nothing more…” The tone in his voice indicated he was being anything but honest. His stroking went further and further down her tail until it was solely at her base. His eyes didn’t leave hers, challenging her, almost daring her to ask hi. to stop. He didn’t want to though, and he most certainly didn’t want her to. They’d started down this road. It was only right they saw it to the end. As Eden’s tail flicked against Balam’s body, a deliciously naughty thought entered his mind. He took the tip of Eden’s long tail and placed it between his lips, lightly sucking on its end while his tongue circled and teased it. Her own motions were having treasonous effects on his own body, making him feel things he’d never felt before. Despite him telling her that he didn’t want her touching, his hips were moving, rubbing the underside of his cock against the soft skin of her belly. He wasn’t going to last much longer. His only hope was that she’d tap, or finish, first.

Eden whimpered with an almost palpable need as the taller demon pinned her against the tiled wall, her lips falling open as she gasped. This was all too much, the heat, the pleasure, and it was all forming in a wetness between her thighs. Having never felt anything close to this, Eden was anxious, yet eager. Her hands on Balam's tail moved a little faster, her nipples pebbling under the water. Being denied the simple act of touching him sent excitement coursing through the demoness, and she gazed back up at him, the challenge in his eyes met. It didn't last long, not at all, because Balam had brought the tip of her tail, the most sensitive part, to his lips. Eden's eyes widened, and a rather load moan left her, the moment Balam's tongue swirled around her tail. Her hip bucked against the length on her stomach, and began a slow, sensuous movement. Every nerve ending in her body was on fire, flooded with heat, and Eden wasn't sure how much longer she could last. "Balam.... I-" Eden's head feel back as she spoke his name helplessly, her fingers still working his tail, hips moving against the Host's. She was helpless under his hold, and she quickly found she adored every minute. Eden was close, getting closer, and her skin was flushed, from both the shower, and Balam's motions. The smaller demoness hasn't expected this outcome, she had only meant to tease, yet this reaction, the hungry, challenging look in Balam's darkened ruby eyes had Eden craving for more. That heat within Eden increased, and her grip on his tail tightened a little as all Balam's ministrations led her to a powerful orgasm. She cried out her release, head falling back, thighs squeezing together. Just her tail, only that, had led her to an intense climax, and her body shuddered with each wave, as she gazed wide eyed at Balam.

How had they gotten here? It wasn’t that long ago that Balam was tracking this demoness fir weeks, that he cursed her name just about every passing minute. He thought she’d deserve everything that was coming to her. Now? Now he couldn’t imagine his life without her. Eden wasn’t usually one to be at a loss for words, so watching her struggle, hearing only his own name being able to be formed on her lips drove him mad. “You know what needs to happen to get this to stop,” Balam muttered in her long ear. Their hips were moving in synchronous motions, and he brought his knee up beneath her, giving her her own platform for some much needed friction. Neither of them lasted much longer. Balam felt the demoness’ whole body shudder against him, her pussy pulsing against his leg. And the way she looked at him… Balam wished he could bottle that look, save that wide-eyed gaze forever. His own body shook and his grips around her tail and around her wrist both grew much tighter. Eyes rolling back, the Host’s hips bucked against Eden, the length on her stomach throbbing and twitching as it shot strings of hot, thick seed across her tummy, and up onto her breasts as well. He let out a long groan of pure ecstasy, his nostrils flaring, his breathing quickening into panting. His head fell forward, their foreheads resting against one another, their noses nuzzling against each other. “Eden…” Balam panted, their lips now so close to each other, brushing each other in the lightest of ways when he spoke her name. His lips curved up into a smile. “I think I need to wash your body again…”

The heat, the pure passion, the way Balam whispered into her ear, it was all too much for the smaller demoness. As he brought his knee up against her, Eden let out another long moan. This was most certainly a strange outcome, yet not one that was unpleasant. Eden had once thought the Host nothing more than Lucifer's pawn, and she had been desperate to get away from him. She had heard his hounds, and he had struck her, yet, it hadn't been malicious. Anything but. Still, the younger demoness had wished Balam would leave her alone. When had it started? This affection for the older demon. Perhaps when he had touched her hair, or when he had freed her tail, gently wiping her tears away. Eden had asked him to show her one demon who had compassion, and he had. Himself. Balam's pants, the uncontrollable motion of his hips, the weight of his length against her flat stomach was all things Eden found she enjoyed, all things she wanted more of. His seed shot all over her stomach, and even that made her groan. Balam's forehead rested against hers, noses touching, lips mere millimetres apart. Did she want to? Could she close that gap? Eden wanted to, and her free hand let go of the elder's tail, gently cupping his cheek. Her mismatched eyes flicked between his deep ruby ones, gauging his reaction, before she reached up, pressing her lips softly to his. Was it the passion running through the demoness that led her to kiss him, or the height of her emotions. Her thumb gently stroked the area under his eye, will hers fluttered closed, lashes dark against her cheeks. After a few moments, she pulled away, a shy look in her eye. "I think washing is what got us here, Balam...." *Eden whispered, her voice hoarse, her head resting once more against his. She smiled, a genuine, pure smile, and her nose nuzzled his.

While Balam was caught off guard by the kiss, it was in no way unwelcome. He looked immediately put his hands on either side of Eden’s face and kissed her back as best as he knew how. When they pulled away, he let out a breath he’d been holding far too long. “You’re right.. Why don’t we rinse off and actually get some sleep?” He placed a couple more pecks on Eden’s lips, the feeling oddly addicting. Soon they were drying off with fluffy towels and then crawling into the large, immensely soft bed. The mattress felt like it bought swallow Balam and Eden both and home them there forever. In that moment, Balam wouldn’t have minded. As long as he had her. The hounds moved to the edge of the bed, each one taking a side, guarding what was in their mind becoming their masters. Plural. Azrael especially had a particular fondness for Eden, taking her side of the bed for his watch. Balam pulled the covers over the two of them and looked down into Eden’s eyes, holding her cheek affectionately, his thumb rubbing back and forth against her cheekbone. “Goodnight, Eden,” he whispered.

They were as clumsy as each other, the kiss sweet, their inexperience with such a motion obvious. Eden enjoyed the way Balam's large hands cupped her smaller face, it made her feel safe. The next couple of pecks came as a surprise, a welcome one, and a soft giggle left the small demon. She rubbed her nose against his, playfully, joyful. "I'm okay with that... I'm sleepy." The pair rinsed of quickly, and soon a large fluffy towel encompassed the demoness, the heavy fabric soft against sensitive skin. The bed called to her, and she was eager to crawl into the cloud like softness. Dropping the towel, Eden walked nude to the bed, climbing up onto it as best she could. It was soft, thick, and so bouncy that she felt like she were in the air. A happy giggle left the demon as she crawled under the covers, letting herself drown in the multiple pillows. How long had it been since she slept in a bed like this? Too long, and Eden was going to cherish every moment of it. The elder host soon joined Eden, with the hounds either side. They added an extra piece of safety, of protection, and warmth, something Eden heavily appreciated. As the covers were pulled over, the demoness scooted closer, the space between them non existent. She stared up into Balam's eyes, enthralled, tentative, and the thumb under her cheek soothed her. What had gone down in the shower was something Eden had never experienced, and she was nervous for the after effects, if there were any. Would Balam think of her differently, worse? All these thoughts swirled around her head, and she pushed them away, instead focusing on the now. Balam's body was warm, strong against her smaller frame, and it almost felt like two puzzle pieces finally being put together. Eden sighed, her eyes closing, as her face pressed into Balam's neck. Her tail wound it's way around the pair, eventually wrapping around the elder demon's tail. A breath left her, hot against his throat. "Goodnight, Balam."

The next morning, Balam stirred and looked down to find Eden’s naked, sleeping form against his chest. He couldn’t help but to smile to himself and rake his fingers through her copper hair. It was hard to believe that last night was even real, that it wasn’t just some dream that Balam had concocted, but here she was, in his arms, their tails wrapped securely around one another. The Host looked next to him to find Azrael over by the door, growling at it. It was most likely the inn’s staff outside and the boy being over cautious, but one couldn’t ever be too sure. Balam rolled out of the bed and found his pants, pulling them up ofer his legs before he glamoured himself and peeked out the door. Or at least, attempted to. As soon as the door creaked open even an inch, the whole thing crashed into Balam and sent him flying backwards into the table behind him, It crushed beneath the sudden weight, and Balam barely had time to push the door off himself and roll out of the way of a flaming sword that came crashing down just where he’d been an instant before. The hounds barked ferociously at the assailant, all three jumping him, their massive weight able to bring the angel to his knees. It was just enough time for Balam to rush to Eden. “Eden! Eden, we have to-“ Balam ducked, just in time for a fireball to make a burning hole in the wall. There was no time. Balam threw his lover over his shoulder and had the hounds slam into the angel once more, giving them just enough time to get out of the room. As he ran through the halls, there were dead strewn across the floor. These angels knew no limits… Even as they passed through the lobby, the corpse of the front desk woman who’d checked them in laid hunched over the counter, cut down. Behind him, Balam could hear two sets of footsteps running tu catch up with them. The third… You’ll be missed, Beelzebub, There was no time to mourn their fallen companion though. Balam found a car, still on, with the driver having
fallen to the angel. He threw Eden into the passenger seat and got behind the wheel. After much fidgeting and guessing, he finally got it to go, the dogs having gotten into the back by simply jumping through the windows, shattering them. Turn the wheel left to go left, right to go right… it was intuitive. Sort of. He also had no idea how to stop but right now, distance was key.

Quiet, peaceful, and Eden snuggled her face into the warm chest underneath her. With the soft bed underneath the pair, and a strong heart beat rhythmically thudding in her ear, the demoness could truly say this morning was blissful. She sighed, eyebrows farrowing when she heard Azrael growl, and as Balam got up, Eden patted the bed beside her. "Here boy..." She mumbled sleepily, falling further into slumber. She didn't want to wake up just yet. A loud crash sounded, and Balam's voice, desperate rang in her ear. Her eyes snapped open and she shot up, unfocused, weary, and she just watched a huge fireball fly in front of her. The hounds barked and snapped, and Eden, disorientated, barely had time to blink before she was hoisted onto a shoulder, her stomach hitting the broad muscle. And then she was moving, carried by the elder demon, while she watched the three hounds launch at a rather monstrous looking being. Her eyes widened, horrified. "Balam.... what is that?!" Her tail wrapped securely around the Host's bare chest, as they ran through the hallways. Bloodshed, death surrounded the pair, and a sob built up in her throat. Dead. They were all dead. Blood everywhere. Everything a blur, Eden's ears started ringing as she stared around her, everything is slow motion. She looked back, just in time to see the monster cut down one of the hounds, an almost pitiful yelp coming from him. "NOOO!" Eden screamed, a terrible sound. All sound, all motion came rushing back, and two hounds followed, the being not far behind. She started to struggle, sob, and beat on Balam's back, all to no avail. He was dead. She could heal him. She could, but Balam's grip on the girl was tight, and she could only slump, tears streaming down her face. She was soon thrown into a car, in a ball of hair horns and tail, with the delegate demon beside her trying to figure out how to make the car work. The two remaining hounds jumped in, and Eden covered her face as the glass smashed. Turning to
the hounds, she scrambled into the backseat to inspect them for injuries. They both had severe gashes running across their maws, their necks, and Eden only sobbed harder, her tears blurring her vision. "D-drive!" *She cried, while attempting to heal the pups. Her hands shook, her body shook, and she buried her face in Azrael's bloodied fur, who gave a low mourning while. "I-I'm sorry... this is my fault..." she had escaped hell, and Balam had told her of the angels. She simply hadn't believed him, and it had resulted in the deaths of many, included a beloved hound of his. Nude, afraid, her vision stunted, Eden curled up next to the hounds as the car shot forward, her ears drooped and tail limp. It was her fault.

Balam looked in the rear view mirror, and he thankfully didn’t see the archangel any longer. How had it found them? He’d warded the room… Had their smell been that strong? The brimstone still lingering? Even after weeks away from Hell? It felt like the only explanation. He was suddenly very glad that the two of them showered, had bathed themselves in the string soaps. Maybe it’d make them that little bit harder to track. He kept his foot on the pedal, not daring to let up, the car flying up the road. All along it, there were humans, dead, cut down in their vehicles. This angel had been merciless… brutal. Why though? These humans surely weren’t standing in its path, weren’t trying to protect them. Was it sending a message? Balam reached a hand behind him and took Eden’s hand. “Hey… shh… You’re okay, Eden. We’ll be okay.” It didn’t change the fact that others weren’t okay, that there were so many dead, but that wasn’t on them. That was on the angels… On God who’d allowed this to happen. After almost an hour, the car sputtered, and then rolled to a stop, cutting off. They were on a country road, in the middle of woods, not at all any closer to Hell’s entrance. “Come on,” he said, moving to the back to open the door. The hounds limped out, and Balam took Eden’s small frame easily into his arms, carrying the demoness bridal style. “Let’s find a safe place..”

Carnage. Bodies littering the streets. The speed the car was going at didn't stop her eyes from seeing everything, not her heart from sinking any further. Wide-eyed, pale, naked, Eden drew her knees up to her chest, her fingers tightening around his. My fault. She thought, her bottom lip trembling. I should have stayed in hell. Angels. Massive, monstrous looking beings. Brutal, steadfast, they delivered what they believed to be justice, in any way possible. An entire town, wiped away because Eden couldn't stay in hell.... do her duty. Her tears fell, and the two hounds surrounded her, their fur warm. Taking a glance behind her, she saw nothing, and her fingers squeezed Balam's, not loosening her hold one bit. The demoness's face was pale, drawn in, her markings stark against her skin. She had zoned out. It wasn't long until the car sputtered to a stop, at least, it felt like forever and a second at the same time to Eden. The back door was opened, and the hounds warmth left her. Azrael bumped her with his snout, a low whine leaving him before he got out. Balam pulled Eden out, her body held against his, bridal style. Her head lay on his chest, her tail swinging limply, her ears drooped down. "They're all dead.... gone...." Eden said, her voice quiet, numb. That day was cold, yet it had no affect on the small demoness. They should have kept moving, Balam was right. He had been right about everything. My fault. The same thought, swirling around her head. Their night of bliss, now felt like a dream, a far away memory. "God is just. Benevolent, absolute." Eden paused. "Was this... just, Balam?" Her voice broken, she buried her face in his chest, hot tears spilling over as a memory passed in her mind, that of a mother and child. The joy she had seen in Balam's face. All shattered. "Take me back to hell. I'll take whatever punishment is dealt." The intention was heavy in her voice, the sadness, the numbness. She knew there was no way out anymore, it was either
the pits of hell, or more death.

Eden’s question to Balam had been one he was mulling over the entire drive, one that struck a chord deep within him with every body he’d seen slain. Those humans hadn’t been judged. Who was to say if they deserved death? There were women… children. It made Balam sick, and he held Eden even closer to himself. “I’m not benevolent, Eden. I’m not all-knowing, but if being those things would lead me to believe that the carnage we just saw was in any way just it right… Well, then I don’t want to be.” It was wrong. Balam could feel it down in his core, knew that in every fiber of his being. And if it was wrong, then God was wrong. And if God was wrong… then had he ever been right? Had Balam and Lucifer deserved to be cast out? Did any human deserve eternal torment for their sins? Were ‘sins’ even all wrong? His head was spinning. They’d been walking for who knew how long when they finally came to the base of the mountains that surrounded the valley they’d been in. Just a quarter way up the first was a small cave that Balam carried Eden into. It was a far cry from the room they’d been in that morning, but it was safer than the clearing from a few days before. The hounds sat just inside the cave, on watch, while Balam sat Eden down and set up the tent, the movements thankfully so habitually ingrained in him tant they were automatic, because his head was no longer on straight. When it was done, Balam carried Eden into the tent and just sat on the cold, rock floor, the girl in his lap. Balam wept.

"They didn't do anything.... we only interacted with the one..." Eden whispered, as Balam carried her into the cave. Her arms, legs, entire body was weak, so when the older demon sat her down, she almost slumped. The demoness watched nimbly as he set up the tent. Her own body was on auto, though her mind raced. Were angels supposed to be the opposite of demons? Pure, benevolent, just. What she had seen... had been the furthest from benevolent. Cold, dead bodies had burned their way into Eden's memory and she shuddered, her eyes dull. Rain had started outside of the cave, heavy, pouring. A storm would start soon, reflecting Eden's somber mood. Once the tent was finished, Balam lifted the smaller demoness's body and walked into the tent, sitting down and holding her. He wept. And in that moment, Eden's heart broke for him. Strong, kind Balam, wept. His shoulders shook, and tears streamed down his face. The smaller demon broke out of her own troubles, even if only to comfort the older demon. She wrapped her arms around him, her bare chest pressed to his, her tail finding his and wrapping around it. "I'm sorry, Balam.... this is all my fault." Eden cried along with the Host, her face burying itself into his throat. Turning in his lap, she straddled him, completely wrapping herself around him. Every part of her body was pressed against his, almost as if she were trying to meld into him, trying to take away all of his sadness. There was nothing inherently sexual about this, all Eden wanted to do was comfort him. Pulling her face from his neck, her hands trailed up to his cheeks, and she she wiped away his tears, pressing her forehead against his. She gazed into his eyes, the sounds of rain and thunder around them, oddly comforting. "This... isn't your fault, Balam... don't cry..." Her voice was pained, that very same pain swirling in mismatched eyes. (edited)

Balam looked into Eden’s eyes and shook his head. “I know it’s not my fault. It’s not your fault either, Eden. It’s… It’s God’s fault.” He could barely get the words out, but once he did, it was like a giant weight was lifted off his shoulders, only to be replaced by an even larger one. “My whole life… From the time I was cast into Hell, I defended him. I said that he was good. That he was righteous. That anyone he punished deserved it. I used that the justify what I did, what we did in Hell. I was wrong though… God.. he’s not righteous. He’s not holy. He’s a monster. He doesn’t care about creation, only his authority over it. To him, we’re nothing. Pawns in whatever scheme he has…” Balam was practically growling in fury now. “I’ve let this happen for far too long.” His red eyes grew darker, turning crimson as spilt blood. “I’m not taking you to Hell, Eden. And I’m not going to let those monsters roam the Earth and enact that monster’s will. I’m done defending him. I think it’s high time that God be judged for his own misdeeds.” What did he mean by that? Honestly, Balam didn’t know. How would one go after the most powerful being in the universe? Was he really even that powerful though? If he was as all-powerful as he lead others to believe, then why did he have others enacting his will instead of doing it himself? There was much for Balam to think about, but right now, his concern was for the demoness in his lap. “I swear, from the highest heavens to the depths of Hell, I won’t let anybody hurt you, Eden. You’re mine to cherish. To protect. And I’ll do so until death,” Balam whispered to her, pressing his lips to her own. “I’ve never cared for anybody as much as I care for you, Eden.”

If Eden could have ever called anything righteous, it was Balam's anger now. Many had died, for no reason, and many many more had been cast into hell, for no reason. They had been judged and treated cruelly, tortured and maimed for eternity. Balam's fury, it scared the smaller demoness, yet sent a thrill through her. Why? Balam finally believed her. It had taken a horribly cruel event to make him see it, and she only pressed her forehead against his, her hands burying themselves into his hair. "You.... believe me..." Eden whispered, her nose against his. "You won't take me back?" A new hope filled the younger demoness, and a joy, at Balam's next words. Her tail wrapped fully around his, as lips pressed against hers.* "Yours... I'm yours, Balam..." Eden whispered against his lips. She vowed then and there, to help the former Host with everything. She would follow him wherever he went, and take down those she needed to to protect him. "Mine." A soft growl left her, as she pressed her lips hungrily to his. Balam's words ignited something within the smaller demon, and she pulled herself closer, not an inch between the pair. The storm was still raging, the rain casting an almost peaceful ambiance around them. Pulling away fro just a moment, her breath came heavier. "What do we do now?" It was a question for later, yet her intent was for now. Her skin was flushed, easily seen due to her nudity, Eden wanted to kiss Balam again, touch him, but she would wait for his permission. Balam was vulnerable right now, everything he had ever known had been ripped apart. "Tell me what you want..." Eden whispered.

What would they do? Balam didn’t know. He hadn’t had time to plan, to even consider what a Host, a young demoness, and a couple of hellhounds could even do against the armies of heaven and the forces of hell. All he really did know was that with Eden, he felt like he could conquer both. With her there, in his lap, he felt well and truly invincible. “I want you. No matter what comes our way, what obstacles we face Eden, that will never change. I’ll always want you…” His lips came crashing into hers with a hungry need. Calloused hands roamed her bare, soft body while his tail wrapped her, the end boiling around her own. It’d be impossible for them to be closer, and the only thing separating them at all were the trousers that Balam still wore. His fingers tangled themselves in her copper hair, kicking il the sweet vanilla scent that still clung to her. He tugged at it, not in agression, but in desperation, as if even in their closeness, there was still a vast chasm between them that he needed to close. He broke the kiss, pushed her off him, but only so he could frantically kick his trousers off from around his ankles. He climbed on top of Eden then, his larger body enveloping her and pressed his lips to hers again, his tongue entering her mouth while his tail made its way between her thighs, rubbing her now glistening wet lips with its soft, pointed tip.

I want you. The words Balam spoke rang through her, and as he crashed his lips to hers, she responded back in kind. She clutched at the Host, almost desperately, her legs locked around his waist. This war far more intense than the way they had been in that shower, the passion, the tension palpable. His tugging of her hair had her groan, and a heat started in her stomach. A frantic grind of her hips began against Balam while she whimpered with need, with want and desire. She clung to him, before he pushed her off, and she lay there, panting, flushed, watching him as he kicked off his pants. Balam was soon upon her, and her arms reached around him, diving into his hair, her legs locking around him. Eden tongue wrestled with the older demon, hungry, passionate needy, and a loud moan left her as his tail probed her arousal. His large member laid on her stomach, much like last time, throbbing the head wet. Her hand dove down in between them, and grabbed a hold, beginning a steady stroke. "Balam...." Eden moaned his name, and with that, the Host's impish tail entered her, the flexible appendage finding it's way deep inside of her. Eden squirmed, whining in pleasure, her body rising and falling to meet him. Her hand moved at a faster pace, her eyes gazing into his, her breath heavy. "I want you. All of you..." Despite their rocky start, Balam had proved himself to be compassionate, trustworthy, reliable, and was about the only one she could trust completely. "That's all you got?" Eden couldn't help herself. The tease, the want to rile him up was strong within her, and she acted on it. She wanted to play and her impish grin told Balam that much.

Balam BOT 05-Dec-21 11:56 AM
“Oh, young Eden, you haven’t seen anything yet,” Balam whispered against her lips, his breath hot against them. Where that even came from, he didn’t know. She was his only experience, and yet it was like she was drawing something out of him, some primal urges that went further back than creation itself. The need to love and to be loved. The need to create. To mate. Balam had seen this ritual done thousands of times in other creatures, but never did he imagine it’d feel like this… His tail pulled out of Eden, moving to his own lips, where he licked the tip. There was something about her scent, her taste that almost threatened to send his heart beating out of his chest. His desire for her grew all the more. He moved his tail to her own mouth, pressing it between her lips, wanting to feel her own tongue against it. He pulled his length from her grip, but only to replace it against her slit. Balam’s wet tip rubbed up and down her folds, coating itself in her wetness before he finally pushed into her, her walls stretching to accommodate him. A low growl escaped Balam’s mouth. His lips pulled back to reveal fangs that had extended, a feature not often seen in Balam, but every part of him was on edge. His hands moved to Eden’s wrists, pinning them next to her head, and his eyes wandered down from her mismatched eyes to her perky breasts, to the flat valley of her tummy, containing the womb he fully intended on emptying his seed into, even if he was sure nothing would come from it. “Eden,” he groaned, his eyes going back to hers, as he pushed himself deeper into her. “Is this what you wanted?” he asked, lips turning up. He bucked his hips, pressing his length as deep into her as he could, his hips meeting hers.

"Then show me." Eden whispered back, a gasp in her throat. He was bringing something out within her, and though she'd had intercourse many times, she had not been sober. Each time was meaningless, a motion to go through. This time? It was different, pure, intimate, and Eden simply wanted more. The young demoness gasped as Balam withdrew his tail, immediately missing the flexible appendage within her. It was glistening with her juices, and Eden watched, captivated, as her brought the pointed tail to his lips, as his tongue swirled around the tip. She growled slightly, the simple act strangely erotic to her. That same tip was then pressed against her own soft lip, and keeping mismatched eyes on deep ruby ones, and she opened her lips, taking the pointed end into her mouth, a moan leaving her. Her hands were pinned above her, and a small part of the demoness wanted to fight against it, playfully, yet the other completely loved being pinned, dominated by this gorgeous demon. Something large was pressed against her opening, brushing up and down, pressing against her clit every now and then, and Eden's hips moved up to meet Balam's, eager, ready. One motion of the elder's hips, and he was inside, pressing deep, pushing further, and Eden let out a moan, muffled by Balam's tail. He was large, much larger than any she could remember, and it stretched her in the most delicious way. His desire, was fully matched by her, and as he fully sheathed himself inside of her, Eden sucked on his tail, her tongue moving around the tip. He growled, revealing fangs, and she did in response, dropping his tail in the process. Eden could feel him pulsing with in her walls, and each motion of her hips brought a pleasure she hasn't felt before. It was carnal, primal, yet sensuous, intimate. Raising her head to his, the demoness kissed the host, her tongue flicking out to lick his fangs. The sent a delicious shiver down her body, and she shuddered, growling against his lips. "No." She (edited)
paused with a grin. "I want more." Eden was greedy, she knew, but she also knew Balam would give it to her, as he had so far. Her legs locked around his hips, pulling him inside fully. Another moan, and her head feel back, exposing her throat to him, a completely submissive move, a sign of trust. "Fill me."

Fill me. It was like the words were the final strike needed to completely break the dam inside of him, holding back the waters of lust that had only been leaking until now. The Host’s grip on her wrists released, only to be replaced beneath her thighs, pushing her legs up so far the demoness’ knees were practically parallel to her long ears, allowing Balam the little bit of extra room to push even deeper inside of her. Long nails dug into soft, pale flesh, trailing up and down, leaving dark red marks against her as his hips moved at a slow, methodical speed, each thrust being hard, deep, the impact making a clapping sound that echoed and reverberated against the cold walls of the cave, becoming rhythmic, like the beat of a drum driving them on. Balam’s tail found Eden’s, the two appendages beginning their own dance to the heavy beat. Balam’s tail was still slick with Eden’s juices, and their salvia, easily gliding against the flesh of her own. They coiled around each other, weaving and stroking in such an instinctual way that sent pulses of pleasure through Balam that rivaled those of his cock slipping in and out of her. Eden’s head dropped, revealing her sensitive neck, and Balam responded by dragging his fangs against it, with a any more pressure threatening to puncture. She trusted him, and this was a sign in return of the fact he’d never truly hurt her. She was safe with him. He’d protect her, always. He traced back up the trail of pain with another trail of pleasure, kissing and suckling on the most sensitive parts, her pulse point, all while still fucking her. His rhythm increased, as did his desire, and Balam pulled away to look down at Eden. “Tell me what you want, Eden,” he growled, his voice pure hunger now. “Tell me where you want my seed. Tell me how much you want this. Tell me how I’m making you feel. *Tell me.” His hand moved to her throat, squeezing just a little bit, but it wasn’t threatening, but instead a continuation of that sig
n of trust, an opportunity for her to give herself over to him. Completely.

The new position allowed a deeper penetration, and Eden' eyes widened as she felt Balam deeper. A cry left her, a needy, desire filled one, her walls squeezing around the elder's member. He was paving his way inside of her, claiming her for himself, and Eden was loving every minute. His fangs against her throat sent shivers of delight through her, the pain pleasure coursing through her. Her hands wound around Balam's neck, weaving into his hair, holding him to her throat, for a moment. "Bite...." She whispered, an enamoured sound, shyness colouring her tone. Eden wanted his fangs in her throat, for him to claim her that much more. It was a primal, animalistic thing, to claim in such a way, but their mating was exactly that. Primal. Balam's growl awakened something inside of Eden, and she growled back, releasing his head. Her tiny body moved with every thrust, perky breasts bouncing on her chest, while one hand moved to circle her clit. With the increased pace, the sounds of flesh against flesh got louder, as did Eden's sounds. The hand that wound about her throat turned her into a submissive mess, and she whined, desire swirling in mismatched eyes. "I want it all.... inside of me...." Eden paused, her fingers tracing her clit. "I want this more than anything. I want you, Balam. I've never felt anything like this.... ever. You make me feel alive, wanted..." Her words were delivered in a rush, with each sentence punctuated with a gasp, a moan. Something was building within her, much like in the shower, only this was much more intense. Eden's hips raised to slam against Balam's, and she whimpered, her stomach tensing. "Balam... I'm gonna..." Every motion led Eden closer and closer to that edge, and her tail coiled around Balam's, bringing that extra node of pleasure. Staring into Balam's ruby eyes with unwavering passion, and conviction, she allowed the man to claim her. "Bite me. I'm yours, Balam."

Balam’s mouth came crashing down on Eden’s throat, fangs puncturing flesh, teeth digging in and leaving cuts so deep they’d surely scar. At the same time though, they left a scent. His scent, which at the moment was a fresh and clean one that would now never leave her. In that way, he’d always be with her, and others would always know that she’d been taken. Claimed. Balam pulled back, inhaling the scent of Eden that was now overwhelming himself, coursing through his veins on the oxygen that he breathed, enhancing every sensation. Her tail wrapped and squeezed around his, her walls contracted and milked his length, practically begging him to release inside of her. I’m yours, Balam. The words echoed through him, etching themselves into his mind, into his very soul, changing him from that moment on. He was no longer alone. He was no longer isolated or exiled. Now he had someone else, and he always would. Until the universe collapsed in on itself, his whole life, his body, his mind and his soul belonged to Eden. With just a few more thrusts, his nails digging into her thighs as deeply as his teeth had her neck, trickles of blood running down otherwise flawless flesh, Balam finally let go. He buried his length as deep as he could inside of her as a pleasure that was so overwhelming that it ached wracked through his entire being. “Eden!” he growled, his length twitching inside of her, shooting strings of hot, thick seed into her waiting womb. Every hair on his body stood on end, his eyes rolled into the back of his head, and for a moment he felt like he just may have died. It was like time stood still, trapping him in that moment of painful bliss for its own eternity, with only one thing on his mind. Eden. My love. Then it all came crashing down, the euphoria, the high, his own body onto hers, panting, desperate, his muscles and lungs aching for air. Somehow he managed to lift his head, to look down at his lover. His mate. Ruby eyes said all that me
re words could never hope to, conveyed such a deep sense of love, of devotion, of possessiveness, of adoration that the phrase anybody else would use was wholly inadequate. Instead, he bent down, and bit her neck yet again, softer this time, but it conveyed that same meaning, that sense of ownership. You are my mate, and I will always be yours.

Eden yelped, the moment Balam claimed her as his. His fangs were deep in her throat, a single rivulet of blood making its way down her neck. It hurt, but in a way that felt good, that made her feel complete. From hunter and hunted, to tentative lovers, to mates. It was a whirlwind passion, and Eden couldn't deny the feelings that had quickly formed for the Host. Similar thoughts to Balam's were running through Eden's head, namely, that she didn't have to go back to hell, that she wouldn't be tortured, and if she wasn't locked an euphoric haze of lust and desire, the demoness would have cried. Her walls clamped down on Balam's member, and she cried out at the pleasure pain, her voice laden with need. His claws, digging into pale thighs, kept her grounded, and she clung to him, fingers deep in his hair. Something was building up in her abdomen, a fire, and much like the day before, she fell over the edge with a powerful climax, her entire body going taut as she cried out. The moment he filled her with his seed, Eden came, screaming out his name. Her eyes glowed, and as quick as a cobra, she struck, sinking her own fangs into Balam's throat, right at the sweet spot. It was an animalistic urge, to claim what was hers, as the elder had her. After a few moments, Eden retracted her fangs, running a slow tongue across the wound, as if to soothe the pain she had caused the male above her. "Mine." Eden softly growled, as possessive as Balam had been. Devotion, love, adoration, those were swirling in the depths of Eden's mismatched eyes, and she lifted her chin as Balam bit her again, softer, letting her know she was his. Delicately, she sniffed at the elder demon, and she could smell herself on him, and a proud little grin played about her lips. Reaching up, she pressed her lips against his, pulling the male into a passionate, yet softly intimate kiss. Her whole body rang with a pleasure, and as she came down from her high, her legs remained locked around the larger
demon. She enjoyed the feeling of him within her. "Are you okay?" Eden giggled, as he collapsed upon her. Her fingers ran through Balam's white locks, gently, lovingly. Eden was in bliss.
