ROLEPLAY HQ - rock-and-love

Upon the stage, staring out over a full house of cheering fans, Corey couldn’t believe his ears. It’s been over two hours since the show started, yet the crowd still pours out an incredible energy. Jason, their lead guitarist, plays a few gentle riffs to keep the energy going as Corey figures out what to do next as the crowd calls for yet another encore. “Y’all still want more?! That was our two whole albums! All of our material!” The crowd roars in response, giving Corey a rush. “I mean, if ya want a cover, we can do a cover…!” Another roar was the only response he needed. “Cover it is! Alright, this one goes out to the ladies!” Corey turns giving Jason and Shawn, their drummer, a grin and a nod. Jason’s cue to start a riff they all knew so well. “If you know the words, I wanna hear your voice!” Corey calls out to the crowd as he counts down in his head, before starting them off. ”She was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean, she was the best damn woman that I’ve ever seen…!” AC-DC – Shook Me All Night Long has been their favorite song to jam to when they didn’t feel like really practicing their own material. Tonight, it was going to be the final encore of what Corey feels has been the best show of the tour so far. ”…All night long! Thank you very much, y’all have been amazing!” Corey grins widely, beads of sweat covers his face and neck. The stage lights shift as intermission music starts playing. Jason and their bassist, Micha, walk to the front of the stage, tossing guitar picks into the crowd while Corey goes to the back, giving Shawn a high-five. Ecstatic of how amazing the show was that they just performed. Turning to face the crowd again, Corey gives his closing remarks. “This has easily been the best show we have ever done, we have only all of you to thank for that! Y’all be safe and enjoy the rest of the night. The lucky VIPs , we will see you soon!” He points out to the crowd as applause fill the air. The four men give a bow and wave as the exi

t offstage. They immediately start taking off the hardware and wires running to earpieces they are wearing, handing them over to staff as they disappear into the dressing rooms to freshen up. @Mimzy

“Finally, it’s tonight. She won’t pester me anymore about this stupid concert.” Paige grumbled as she thumbed through her closet. Even if she didn’t want to go to the concert, she would make the best of it. “She told me to stand out..” she spoke to herself as she looked through some of her more fancy shirts. The glitz and sparkle gleamed faintly against the artificial light of her bedroom. In the back of her closet she saw it. Paige pulled out one of the outfits she has never worn before. It was a mesh, see through constellation dress. “Better pull out a skirt and tub top.” She grumbled as she threw it onto her bed. “They won’t let me in naked..” She laughed to herself as she gathered the rest of her clothes and went to take a shower and get ready for the evening out. “I love it!” Alexis exclaimed as she climbed out of her blue Toyota Corolla. “When did you get it?” She asked as she came over to feel the material between her fingers. “Last fall at a summer sale. I don’t remember the place though, I almost didn’t buy it.” Paige shrugged as she pulled her best friend to her body for a hug. “Apparently it came of good use though.” “I’ll say!” Alexis grinned from ear to ear as she pulled away from Paige and did a quick twirl, showing her the skin tight jeans and band tee she decided to wear. “Well?” “It’s perfect! Let’s get this over with.” Paige teased as she pulled open the passenger side door and slid into the seat. Alexis rolled her eyes as she climbed into the drivers side. “You will love it, I promise.” She told her as she took off towards the venue of their concert.

A few hours later, Alexis stood outside the door that led backstage. Two men stood on either side of the door, making sure neither of them went through out of turn. Alexis ran her fingers through her hair as she tried to finger curl some of her curls back in place. “That was wild Paige. Did you enjoy it?” She turned to her friend who she noticed was busy scrolling through her social media. She smacked her phone out of her hand and stuck it into her back pocket. “How often do you get to meet a rockstar Paige? Get with it dude.” She rolled her eyes and fixed her outfit so she would look well put together for their meet up with the band and her favorite singer Corey Watts. “He is a singer. They are all alike. Like pugs. They may be different dog personalities, but they all look the same. “ She rolled her eyes and laid her hands against her hips. “Let’s go ladies.” The bouncer called out as he stepped aside pulling the thick black curtain with him. “ They are ready. Please follow me.” The tall dark man started to walk down the hallway, expecting the ladies to follow him, which they did. The tapping of their shoes resounded through the hallway as they stopped outside of one of the dressing rooms, labeled with a huge star. “Mr. Watts, they are outside the dressing room door.” He called into his headset before turning his body and standing next to the door, almost like a statue. @Gravemind

Muffled excitement stirs on the other side of the door as soon as the bouncer lets them know. "Wait, already?!" "Dude, hurry up!" "Yeah yeah, I know!" "Okay, cool", footsteps can be heard before the door opens, Revealing Corey in the doorway, wearing a pair of well worn but intact jeans and one of their band t-shirts. He gives the two women a wide smile that shows in his eyes as genuine. "Hello, ladies! Congrats on being the lucky two VIPs for the show!" He steps back, welcoming them into the room. Despite their energetic enthusiasm, their belongings are well organized and in order, along with the rest of the room. Jason, Shawn, and Micha walk up to greet the two ladies, all casually and cleanly dressed as well. The introduce themselves as they offer their hands. Exchanging pleasantries as they go, the women end up circled back to Corey, who shakes their hands. It's obvious that he's still ecstatic from his performance on stage. "I have so many questions- I'm sure you do, too- Did you enjoy the show? How was the sound quality? Did the crowd treat you right?" He catches himself, taking a breath to slow himself down. "Hi, I'm Corey Watts, and you are...?" The torrent of excitement in his mind seems to calm as he looks at the women in front of him. Something seems different about them, something new, unexpected. @Mimzy
