Bryony James had been madly in love with her highschool sweetheart Zander…well since high school. They became serious in the last two years of high school and now have together for serval years.
They had been happy up until the last few months. Bryony and Zander got married relatively quickly into adulthood. And now celebrating nearly 7 years together, the question on when are they planning to start a family drowned them. Every family event, every gathering…that was the question everyone seemed to ask them. Little did they know…they had been trying for many years.
Zander was a successful businessman that worked alongside his dad, truthfully prepping to take over the company in months to come as his father has toyed with the idea of an early retirement. Bryony was a successful lawyer, she also occasionally worked in the James’s company when they needed her.

With Zander working later and later each night for the last few months, Bryony could feel his absence. Was it because of their latest failed attempt at IVF? She blamed herself almost.
This night, Bryony decided to wait up for him. Standing in the hallway with her arms crossed over her silk dressing gown. “Your working late again?” She said as he walked through the door. Skipping the formalities.
