It was never easy to get Jansen to accept anything from him, but Kaim only thought that this gift would be something that might change everything in the end. Walking into the hall Kaim looked around at the choices that he had but never really got his interest and when he thought that this was hopeless, that is when he saw her. There was a fire in her eyes that he found interesting and could give his son a bit of fun, a challenge even. With a grin he walked over getting down to her level and looked her over a bit more "You are going to be mine." He said before leaving the showing hall and got to his seat, waiting for the sweet human to be showed to the stage. He listen and waited for everything to be said about her before the bidding starting. Kaim just let the numbers go, higher and higher until he had enough and raised his paddle. "5,000,000$$" He yelled just having everyone just stare in awe and silence. KAim knew that no one was going to touth that bid, so he stood up and went to the stage grabbing the human and walked out. But not before paying the guard at the door and went to his limo that was waiting. KAim placed the human inside and he got in behind closing the door as the limo drove off. "Well human, please let me that they treated you nice in there. I would hate to give me son a damaged gift." HE said with a grin as he just stared at the human smeeling the sweet blood that was going through her veins, being almost intoxicating.

Soft breaths pushed through her nose. It stank. Gritting her teeth, Rue tried to push away the nausea that came with being in the auction hall. She had been here before. Many times before even. After all, all of them were the same. They thought that taming one would be easy, no matter the warning that they placed on her. They thought that they would be different. That they could show her otherwise, that they had what it takes to claim the unclaimed. All they saw was the label that noted her blood class. Optimum. Used to be a company that worked with mobile phones. Who would have thought that it would one day be a phrase used for the best of the best. Well... not the best of the best. Just the best of the worst really. After all, if you're all seen as a source of food, can any of you be all that good? All it meant was that you were "grass fed" or "organic" whereas those from the other classes might have been sprayed with pesticides. Or at least that was how she saw it. A higher quality of blood. In reality, all it meant was that she tasted better. Perhaps it was due to her blood type or perhaps it was due to the strict fitness regiment and diet she was kept to, but apparently the vampires thought she was delicious. And in her mine, that made her a hot commodity. What were they really going to do to her if she told them the simple word they hated hearing most: No. Would they kill her? Doubtful. She had never seen them kill one who was in class Optimum. While unfortunate, those in class Vilis died near daily. Sometimes from illness but far more often from overwork or starvation. They were given the worst of their worst, their blood said to taste like that of dumpsters. Their blood was considered to be worse than that of an animal and they were treated as such, considered merely manual labor to the vampires who scorned on their kind. That wasn't the case if you were in class Optimum though, in many cases if you were in class Optimum, you were treated at le

ast with a semblance of kindness, that is, if you obeyed. Pets. It was said if you truly were well liked by a high ranking vampire that they would take you as their own personal blood bag. A vile term that made Rue want to vomit even though she knew it was true. She refused to think of herself as nothing more than a blood bag, a portable meal ready and eager to serve her masters. She would never. A frown curled along her lips as she sat in anguish. She had been returned by her previous master only a week ago. He had noted that she was unworthy of being his. Of course, Rue had exacerbated the situation in many ways. Specifically because she entirely refused to make this an easy game for them. After all, she wasn't an easy woman. She wouldn't have it that way. So as the man walked up towards her, Rue simply glared, her eyes filled with fire as he leaned down to her ear and whispered to her that she would be his. He stunk. Just like the rest of them. She snarled at him and attempted to pull from the chains that bound her, though she well knew that there was no escaping. "Why do you even try?" Rue glanced to the side, her gaze landing on a young man who had been put on display next to her. He was scrawny but of class optimum, though it noted on his label that he struggled to keep his quality. He looked tired, his eyes gray and lifeless. She looked at him with a sigh, "because there are those who can't." She was about to elaborate to the boy when a vampire came and yanked her by the chains, pulling her away from the display section to guide her up onto the stage. Her feet followed tiredly, the cold tile flooring sending chills up her spine. She swallowed and looked out to the lifeless eyes that stared back at her. Her gaze hardened as they began to bid, their voices deafening to her. She dared not give them a reaction, her eyes softening as the final number was given. It was a hefty price for one who was said to be damaged goods. But she supposed he had a reason.
20:13
As the man from earlier walked to the stage, he was handed a chain leash that was attached to the collar that bound the girl, her gaze lifting to him. She glared at him once more, her eyes hardening as he grabbed it and began to pull her forwards. She gasped and began to walk, following behind as he guided her out of the stench filled auction room. She let out a soft breath of relief as the fresh air hit her nose, though it was short lived as he shoved her into a limo and slid in next to her. I would hate to give my son a damaged gift. She chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Sure... they were so nice." She said smugly, "though... I suppose you can't read, now can you?" Her eyes narrowed cooly, implying that he had missed the section that she was damaged.

Kaim's eyes never left the female as he listened to her statement about reading. This made him laugh a bit "Oh I can read and I did read, but I could never trust what grabage that they put on those. As most of the time they do that to keep what THEY wanted. So I took it away from them." HE said moving closer to the female and slowly grabbed her wrist to pull her closer as the limo continued to drive. It was going to be a bit of a long drive to get to where they were going, so Kaim thought it was the time to play a bit with the human himself "Do I get your name lovely?" He asked bringing the arm that he still was holding closer to him to take a closer smell of her skin and the blood that was pumping underneath. "Do you think it is already with you if I get a bit of a taste?" He asked. Kaim was different then all the other Vampire's as he was more of a gentlemen, more kind then the others. He liked to ask things then take them. But no all the time that it was like that, just with things when to came to taking things from others. All the humans that he had brought to his son, he always got a taste, taking it like he wanted but this was different, she was different. He could feel the hardness that she was and didn't wish to break her right now, he was going to leave that to his son to deal with. With that thought about his son it was odd for him to not take the gifts that he gave so many times before, Kaim only hoped that this was going to be different, going to be a change for the best. Or at least that is what he wanted. To control his son then him being so on his own and not wanted the gift of endless life that he had given him. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Trust. Rue didn't trust this man. Her eyes narrowed as he mentioned that the auction house simply wanted to keep her. She doubted that. She knew that those who worked there couldn't handle her. Even they knew that they couldn't handle her. Her gaze flickered towards him as he slid closer to her, grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her into him. She gasped as she was met with the scent of cologne. She sneered as she sat up, her green eyes narrowing with hatred as he asked her for her name. "Rue..." She stated cooly, pulling away from him as he lifted her wrist towards her nose, sniffing it. "Let go of me--" She demanded, attempting to yank her wrist from his grip. Vampires were greedy by nature.
20:33
That was what Rue knew of them, at least. They took what they wanted and rarely asked for it. And when they did, it wasn't because they wanted an answer. Her gaze narrowed as he asked to taste her blood. "As if you care about my opinion." She spat as he held her there, her heart pounding. There was something to say about vampires like him. Ones who thought they could toy with them, those that pretended to give her options in order to tease her. She knew that she had no option. He was going to bite her whether or not she liked it.

When he got the name of the female Kaim gave a slight bow of his head "It is a pleasure to meet you Rue." He said with a bit of a sigh as he felt her pulling away and asked to be let go "If that is your wish" He said letting Rue go and moved away from her, giving her space and showing that not all Vampires were the same. IF that was what he thought of him or not, he just wanted to show a side that was not all about being a monster and taking what he wanted, really. HE sat away looking to Rue here and there, as he was looking out the window the other way, seeing on where they were. They were close and he would continue to give the female her space in the limo. After a good ten minutes the limo turned up the gravel driveway in front of a large mansion, that looked like 5 family's could live in, but it was just one person Kaim's son Jansen. Inside Jansen heard the tires on the gravel of the driveway and then the sound of slamming doors. He opened his eyes slowly looking up at the ceiling before giving a sigh as he sat up in the tub. It was not filled with water. It had a few pillows and a large blanket. He got out and got dressed as he was only in his boxer at the moment. He went into his room pulling on a pair of blue jeans that were a bit tight but he didn't care and a shirt that the sleeves came down to the middle of his forearms. With another sigh he walked down the hallway of the second story and to the stairs walking down them slowly. Jansen didn't bother with the door as he knew who it was by the sound of the tires. It was his Father. He went into the kitchen picking up the thawed out steak that he had on the counter before opening it pouring the blood from the bag into a glass before closing the bag back up and placed it in the fridge for later.
20:40
Jansen leaned against the counter with his back against it before downing the glass of blood in one gulp. He continued to look up at the ceiling as he swallowed to make sure that it went all down completely. But just as he felt it hit his stomach his hand moved to his mouth covering it as he felt his body try to reject it but he was not going to let that happen. He waited a minute or two before taking his hand from his mouth as he finally felt the blood go into his system. Jansen turned to sink and rinsed out the glass and just placed it on the counter before turning around to head to the door again. He stopped for a moment bringing a hand to the side of his head, feeling a bit dizzy but he pushed it aside and took in a deep breath before making it to the door. With another deep sigh he opened the door only to be greeted by the limo driver that was holding bags. A brow raised before looking to the limo as a female came out of it. He crossed his arms over his chest and just stared at the female but he didn't look at her long before his eyes landed on his father who was still sitting in the limo without a care in the world. With a roll of his eyes and a huff of annoyance he turned around and went back inside but kept the door open for them to walk in whenever they felt like it. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚. (edited)

Respect. As the vampire let go of her arm, Rue's eyes widened. If that is your wish. She paused and looked at him, her expression softening in a way that she wasn't accustom to. It was clear that she wasn't used to vampires like this. Wasn't used to be listened to. Her gaze lingered on the human for several moments, curiosity piqued in her gaze. She had never met a vampire who was willing to respect her space, let alone one that claimed it was a pleasure to meet her. She silenced as he did, her gaze shifting towards the window as she wondered where he was bringing her. After all, he had said something about his son and about her being a gift. She hoped his son was as kind as the father. As they pulled up the driveway towards a large mansion, Rue's gaze focused on the door, swallowing as she wondered how many awaited inside. Was it a den of wolves? Or perhaps a cage of isolation? She swallowed as she watched the limosine pull to a halt, her gaze shifting towards the vampire once more. Yet he remained quiet, didn't even say a word to her. She swallowed, her heart pounding as she feared what would await her. There was always an apprehension that came with meeting a master. She had been able to hide it in the auction hall for hopes of inspiring others who remained silent, in proving them that there was a strength in fighting back. Yet now all alone, Rue couldn't help but shiver at the idea that her master may be overly harsh. How long would it take to break him? How long would it take before she could escape his grips. Before he would inevitably return her to the auction house once more. As the door opened, her gaze fell on the young man who had opened it. She frowned ever so slightly and stepped out of the car door as it was opened, her gaze falling back to look at the vampire who held the leash that bound her. She couldn't run now. She well knew that they were faster than her anyway. She stood and waited quietly, her gaze falling back on the door, raising he

With the door open the driver pulled the female inside and unleashed the leash from the collar, letting her roam the inside. But they soon turned around and left closing the door behind him. Jansen was in the kitchen with the bags that were delivered putting the things away that were inside. Most of it was meat that would need for the next month or so. When that was done Jansen walked back out throwing the now empty bags at the door and finally turned to look at the female. He gave her a walk around looking at her up and down before walking away with a huff, going to the stairs that went to the second floor. Slowly he went up holding the railing tight in one hand, just feeling himself getting weak and a bit dizzy. When he made it to the top of the stairs, he stood there for a moment and looked back down at the female "Do what it is you wish, not like I really care." He said a bit rash but it was all true. At this moment he could care less who this female was or even on why his father brought her here. It wasn't like he could do anything about it, when his father brought off things, he couldn't really give it back. Jansen walked to his room closing and locking the door before making his way slowly back to the tub, which in turn was his bed and got in. He covered himself up with a blanket before bringing a hand to his head, just feeling the throbbing that was starting. HE stared up at the ceiling in deep thought, his mind just thinking to the female here and there but then again he didn't really know why he was caring so much. It was just something, someone new that his father thought would help him. But in truth Jansen didn't want help, not anymore from that thing that was his father. There was so much betrayal and hurt that came from all of this. That is why he lived alone, just wanted to all to end, like it should have been all those years ago.
19:34
After a moment Jansen closed his eyes just trying to fall asleep, but it was not really any use as the thumping of that female's heart was so loud in his ears. She was still downstairs, making it that much annoying as why it had to be so loud. It was not like he was going to do anything to her. She was just something that he was going to figure out to get rid of sooner or later, but right now he didn't care to much as he was having one of his weaker days and didn't care about anything to much. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Silence. Her gaze lingered on the door as the driver grabbed her leash and brought her into the mansion, quickly unhooking her before leaving her standing there silently. She glanced behind her nervously as the driver walked away wordlessly. Her heart began to pound as she was left standing there, once more in an unfamiliar place. She swallowed and glanced around the room, her breaths soft as she attempted to remain calm. There was something anxiety provoking about it, the way that no one explained anything to her, the way they had just left her there. She bit her lip, wondering if there was something darker going on here. Was this more dangerous than she had worried? As the vampire stepped out, her gaze fell, her body stiffening as he walked around her, circling her like a predator. Yet he simply sneered and walked away from her, not saying a word until he had gotten to the top of the stairwell. She blinked, wondering if she was disgusting in his eyes. She bit at the inside of her cheek, her gaze hardening as he claimed that he didn't care what she did. A knot tightened in her throat once more, finding her expectations blown out of the water. With that, she found herself alone once more. Alone in that large place, entirely unsure of herself. For several moments, Rue simply stood there, entirely unsure of what she was to do. She had never been left like this, entirely disregarded. She swallowed and walked deeper into the house, her gaze wandering as she found herself at a glass door that led outside. If she wanted, she could run. She wondered if he would have even cared. It wasn't worth it though. She'd be found by the praecepta and brought back to the auction house before she could get far. They would simply look up who had just purchased her and return her to him. Pushing the door open, her gaze flicked over her shoulder. Nothing. She had half imagined that he would have come down in response. Yet there was nothing at all. She stepped out, her eyes so

ftening as she found herself in a garden, flowers blooming all around her. She let out a soft sigh and walked out, the fresh air blowing through her hair. She relaxed as she found herself sitting underneath a tree, her gaze growing gentler as she picked a flower and held it in her hand. She gently pulled her knees to her chest and looked at it, exhaustion nipping at her once more. She hadn't let her guard down in over a week. She didn't remember the last meal that she had eaten either. She felt tired. Her eyes fell softly as she rested her head on her knees, the warm sun was a blanket on her as she drifted off for the first time in a long while, finding herself more at peace than one would have expected for her situation. @Argeneau25

The footsteps, the door then just the calm heart beat, Jansen heard everything and it was nice in a way to finally be able to calm himself. But the challenge was only beginning. He had enough blood to keep himself at bay and calm but he only knew what was to come with everything, and this human here there was going to be danger to pick up it's stupid head. After a good 10 minutes or so JAnsen just huffed getting up after hearing the signs of sleep coming from the female. Yes it was nice outside but it is not a place to sleep. With effort Jansen got out of the tub and walked down the stairs holding the railing a bit tighter as it was harder to go down then up with the fear of falling coming to his mind every time. He got to the bottom looking to the open doors to the garden Well mother looks like I have to take that walk" He said a bit to himself as he walked out the doors looking to the flowers before finding on where the female was. Slowly he got to her side looking down at the female sleeping, the flower in her hand got more of his attention. He reached down taking it and just smelled before resting the top of the flower in his hand. HE held it for a moment before ripping it off and dropped it to the ground. Jansen just stared at the ripped petals on the ground before moving his arms under the female and lift her up. There was a moan of some effert as with his strength almost that of a mortal it was hard to really lift her right. But he did holding her bridal style and started to walk inside. He made sure to walk slow as to not wake her as he made it to one of the couches near the kitchen and laid her down. When he thought that she was comfortable enough he walked away into the kitchen and went to cook something.
20:05
Jansen wanted to not care and just leave it all be, but the human nature of himself was still there and he was not as rude nor as inconsiderate to others. HE just didn't really wish to be bothered. This female was in need of food and he was going to give it to her, but to really care on what else happens, he didn't. He went through the fridge taking out ingredients and putting out what to cook, and started. The smell starting to leak from the kitchen to fill the mansion full of the food being cooked. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Comfort was a stranger to the girl. Rue had lived 20 years without knowing the warmth of comfort. She had learned well that comfort didn't come easily in life. With that, she learned that you had to rest when you could. Rest wasn't easy to come by when you were constantly being preyed upon. She hadn't slept in days. It was naive to sleep when in the auction house. Someone was always ready to prey you you. Someone was always watching. She often found herself without rest for days when she had been returned. She knew it wasn't smart to sleep outside and yet inside the house she felt anxious, as if she couldn't breathe. She wasn't meant to be there. She could tell that from the gaze of the man. He looked at her as if wanted nothing to do with her. Of that she was clear. As she was lifted, her eyes fluttered ever so slightly, her head falling against his chest. She was rather petite despite her bravado. Of course, he hadn't seen that yet. As he lifted her, he would find that she was relatively light, not having too much meat to her bones. She hadn't eaten in a few days after all. She let out a soft whimper as he laid her down on the couch, her eyebrows furrowing in her sleep. She seemed exhausted and rather poorly cared for for one of class optimum. Class optimum was usually kept well fed and rested. Though it was questionable if he was aware of that. It was to the smell of food that her eyes began to open. Her body well knew when it needed to eat. And she had far surpassed that. She swallowed and sat up, her eyes lingering around the area. She seemed confused, her eyebrows furrowing once more as she wondered how she had gotten inside. The small of food trumphed that. She paused and stood up, quietly following the scent to the kitchen, her gaze curious as she watched the vampire cook. "I thought you didn't care...?" She asked, her gaze locked on him, unsure of what his deal was. @Argeneau25

The food was to the point of almost being done when he heard the movements of the female. But he continued to cook just letting the female wake and wonder into the kitchen. When she passed the doorway Jansen turned and placed a plate on the table. On the plate was chicken rice and satued veggies. He turned back to make the plate of his own, and sat it on the table as well before grabbing two glasses, filling one with water and the other with wine. When the female made the comment of what he said before there was a bit of a growl as he placed the glasses on the table by the plates and sat down he held out a hand toward the chair across of him for the other to sit "I may not care, but I am no real monster to have anyone starve. You are under my roof and I will try you as a guest but nothing more." He said before starting to work on eating. It if was something that most of the stories and books got wrong is that Vampires didn't have to run on blood alone, they could eat food, if it prepared in a current way. But blood was their main source to keeping them alive. Jansen continued to eat looking up here and there is see if the female was going to sit down and eat. When there was no movement out of her Jansen gave a sigh "It is better to eat if the food is warm." He said going back to eating. It was mid way through his meal that he stopped feeling that weakness inside of he grow heavier on him. It has been awhile since he cooked anything and moving around as much to cook for the female used up most of his energy. He grabbed his glass down everything inside in one gulp before pouring himself another, waiting and seeing still if the female was going to eat or not. HE hate to waste it but if the female wasn't going to eat then it will be a waste anyway as it would be cold and not the best if he would reheat it later. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

As she stepped into the kitchen, Rue's nose was overwhelmed with the scent of food. Her mouth watered as she looked at the plate, her gaze locked to it. She couldn't help but hesitate, her gaze falling as he motioned for her to follow. "You're strange for a vampire." She said softly, her gaze softening as she walked towards the table her stomach growling. She gently took a seat and picked up her fork, lifting the fork to her mouth and taking a bite. Her eyes widened at the taste of freshly cooked food. It was good. It was better than good. Most of the masters that she had lived under rarely ate food like this. Most thought that if they could survive without it, that it wasn't worthy of wasting their time on. After all, they could instead rely on that of the blood of optimum's like herself. So when she did eat hot food, it rarely was quality food such as this, as most didn't know how to cook and her own cooking left room to improve. "Thank you for the food..." She said softly, her gaze holding away from him. She didn't understand him, and yet she was grateful that he had cooked her such a meal. She ate quietly, not saying much of a word to him. She didn't know what to say. After all, he didn't want anything to do with her, and quite frankly, she didn't want too much to do with him either. The negative attention of a vampire was never a good thing. "Your father said I was a present... yet I get the feeling I'm not one that you ever wanted." She looked at him, her curiousity piqued as she spoke. She knew that asking such a question was enough to get her in a dangerous spot and yet she couldn't help but wonder where this would bring her. Would he return her in a day or two? Would he simply remain like this? Avoiding her to the best of his ability. There were too many questions that lingered in her head. Too many things that she was unsure of. @Argeneau25

Without showing it there was a bit of gladness when the female moved and sat at the table. He did watch her eat here and there as he was going on his 4th glass of wine. When he was finished he stood up and started to clean his spot then went to cleaning the mess that he had made from him cooking. It was not much as Jansen did clean as he cooked then less dishes in the end to clean after everything. As he was washing the pan he had to stop to look back at the female with her comment of thanking him for the food before asking the question. He looked at her a bit before turning his back going back to cleaning the dishes. "My father will say alot of things to get people here. Some old or young, females or males. There was even a doctor or two that he brought to try to fix me to try to, get me to my killing nature. Well it just ain't me really." He said before dropping the plate back in the water and he held hard to the sink. WIth his weakness, there was a flash of white that came to his eyes making him extremely dizzy. He was trying hard to not show this, not show how weak he really was. Slowly Jansen's vision came back with a groan as he pushed himself to go back to cleaning the dishes. Once done he took a deep breath and turned around to face the female. His face was a bit paler then before and some light sweat was glistening on his brow. Softly he pushed himself from the area but the sink walking past the female and only to stop at the door with a hand to the doorframe for some balance as he was still a bit lightheaded. "When you are finished wash your dishes, and put then in the rack to dry." He said before pushing from the doorway and headed to the stairs.

Before his foot hit the first step Jansen stopped and decided against going to his room and just went to one of the many couches that were around the place and laid on it. He let out a moan of discomfort before bringing an arm up and laid it over his eyes and propped up one feet on the seat of the couch, as the other just lay straight out off to the side. After a moment Jansen had fallen into a light sleep, just trying to relax his body from everything that he did i the matter of 2hours, using up all his energy for the day to take care of the female. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

My father will say a lot of things to get people here. Rue paused, her gaze lingering on him as he mentioned that this was all with the hopes to get him to embrace his killer nature. She swallowed and looked down at the meal, "Perhaps there's nothing wrong with that..." She noted softly, her gaze lingering on her meal before she brought another forkful to her mouth. She didn't understand why one had to have a killer nature. After all, all of the vampires she had met had been the same. They were cruel and thoughtless. All they wanted to see was others squirm, watching in amusement as they enacted power on those weaker than them. She found them disgusting and immature. If it wasn't for their physical prowess, she was well aware that she could run mental circles around most. Her gaze lifted once more as he gripped at the sink, her eyebrows raising. "Are you--" She paused, hesitating. Was she asking a vampire if he was okay? She stopped mid sentence, unsure of herself. Vampires were a pushy kind and even though he claimed to not care about her, she was sure he had some sort of ulterior motive that she hadn't found yet. She paused, watching as he pushed past her, stopping at the door. Her gaze flickered curiously, watching as he leaned against the door frame. Was he ill? Is that what he meant by doctors? Before she knew it, once more, Rue was left alone. It was strange. All of her life, she had wanted freedom, and yet in these moments, she felt entirely unsure of what she was to do. She paused and looked down her meal, pushing rice back and forth with her forth idly. She was lost in thought when she heard the sound of him moaning in discomfort from the other room. She put her fork down and stood up, glancing at him. She paused, unsure of whether to ask him if he was okay. Once more, one simply didn't ask a vampire if they were okay. Especially when they were claiming to not care about her presence or not. She wondered if he would say the same when he was hungry.
02:45
She hesitated but walked back towards the table, finishing up her meal before cleaning up, washing the dishes quietly and tidying up before putting them in the rack to dry. She didn't know what to expect. Or even what was expected of her. She paused and walked out of the room, her gaze falling towards his figure on the couch. He looked to be asleep. She had never seen a vampire sleep before. She paused and looked at him, finding that all of her expectations regarding vampires were being shifted. She frowned and shook her head, walking past him in order to find somewhere to go to bed. After all, it had grown dark and night was once more upon them. It wasn't long before she found another couch to sit down on. She curled up and attempted to sleep, feeling that this was the best time for her to rest. While she was safe from him. @Argeneau25

The words that the other said didn't go unnoticed, he had heard those words alot and he would just push them aside and try to change the subject of everything. Jansen was a loner and didn't like company but little did the other know that it was a bit of a nice change. This female was different, at least in Jansen's eyes but there was still the thought of how it was all going to play out. He didn't want his weakness to show to anyone, but with how this was going it was going to get harder and harder to hid it from the female. Jansen slept for a good hour or so before he sat up, getting some strength back to move and do what it was that he was planning on doing. As he stood up is when he saw the female asleep on another couch. A brow rose not knowing if the female was laying there to watch over him, but then he thought that he really didn't show her to a bedroom that could be hers to sleep in. With a groan he walked over her and just like before he picked her up as gently as he could, not wanting to wake her up. He held her close as he was making it up the stairs slowly, one step at a time as he didn't want to fall nor drop the female. Humans were so fragile and he didn't want to having anything happen to her. When he got to the top, Jansen started toward one of the many rooms and opened it. The room was dressed in many different shades of pink thinking that she would like it, he laid her on the bed and tucked her in before closing the door as he left her alone.

Jansen was making his way back down the stairs to the kitchen as he looked through the fridge finding a bag of thawed chicken and poured the blood that was in it, in a cup. HE places the bag of chicken back in the fridge before looking at the cup. He knew that he needed it, needed something to keep him calm but everything that would happen when he did, was always the lingering fear that came over him. With a deep breath Jansen down the blood that was in the cup and stared at the ceiling as the blood hit his gut, feeling like it was going to come up just as fast. He held himself so hard to keep it down, to make sure to have anything get in his system. Jansen grunt and groaned holding the sink hard as he was pulling his body to keep it down. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Alone. Rue felt small. Small in this house. Small all by herself. Rue had always been on her own. There was no one to rely on when you were nothing but a slave, always at the beck and call of others. There were no bonds that could be formed. Not unless you obeyed. And Rue found those bonds to be artificial. As she curled into the couch, she found her mind wandering for some time. His words lingered in her mind, her gaze lost on the ceiling tiredly. Even with food, she still felt the way that the exhaustion nipped at her, how it dragged her back down. Back to sleep. Slowly, she was lured back towards that of rest, her expression relaxing as she curled in on herself. On the couch, she looked small. As he stood and picked her up, it became even more evident how small the girl was, as if her growth had been stunted from the sheer blood loss that she had experienced throughout her life. She was petite and frail, her skin ever so pale. As he lifted her, her head fell against his chest. She whimpered tiredly in her sleep as he carried her up the stairs, his movement smooth enough to not entirely disturb her. She seemed as if even her dreams were wrought in pain, her expression not as peaceful as before. She softened as he laid her on the bed, her hair slipping in her face as he tucked her in and left her alone. Rue didn't wake again until the morning light began to peek through the windows. Her eyes fluttered open and she found herself in a pink room. The kind of room that a girl may have grown up in many years ago. She frowned and wrapped the blanket around her, sitting up tiredly. Her head ached as she shifted, her eyebrows furrowing as she forced herself out of bed and out of the room, walking down the stairs once more. She found that he was gone, as if he had returned to his room. The only thing left was the cup in the sink, only the mere residue of the blood lingering in the water he had used to clean it out. She swallowed and walked towards the refrigerato

r and opened it, wondering if she shook cook something for them both. Her gaze lingered anxiously. Blood. She swallowed and looked away, a soft breath escaping her lips. Perhaps it was better than him drinking from her. Yet it still made her stomach turn. She bit her lip and pulled out a carton of eggs and walked towards the stove. They had to eat nonetheless. When he returned he would return to the scent of breakfast being cooked, eggs and bacon wafting through the house. @Argeneau25

It was like now two souls, well more like one soul and undead one passing one another. Jansen was out in the garden just walking the paths, and looking at the flowers before he would venture back inside. He smelled the food that the other was cooking, but it only make his stomach just hurt. So slowly he went to the stairs to go up them. He was slow at first just feeling the dizziness, that was going through him but it was only a few steps from the top that everything went black. Hid body went leap as he fell backwards, hits the stairs down as he went before hitting the bottom hard. He laid there motionless for just a moment before getting to his hands and knees and then to his feet. The blurriness was still over his eyes and the heavy dizziness still fogging his head. But as he stood there he felt it, a cold dripping on his face. Slowly he brought a hand up to his face, the fingertips feeling the liquid and pulled away to look at the blood. It was like he was in a trance just staring at the blood as memories were flooding around him. HIs feet moved without him really know as he moved to one of the couches and sat down. HIs eyes never looking away from the blood. More of his memories just flooding his mind with everything that happened to him, when he was still human to him now being a Vampire. It was never happy memories, but they were still memories. It was a good 5 minutes but to him, felt like a lifetime of just staring at the blood. More covered his face but the wound stopped bleeding but it did leave a scar. More Vampire when they heal there is nothing left behind, but Jansen was not like a normal Vampire, there was something wrong with him, hence why he keeps himself locked up in this place, and stayed away from everyone.
01:25
Slowly his mind cleared and his hand dropped from view. He looked around as everything around him was being seen again and not just the memories that he had. Jansen couldn't remember at first was happened until his mind thought of the female, and that is when he completely saw her, right in front of him. HE was confused on why as his mind was still playing catch-up to what all had happened. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

The sizzling of food on the stove hissed in her ears. She paused and looked down at the bacon, flipping it with a soft yawn. There was a sort of safety in a place like this that lulled the world into something slow. As if it were stuck in molasis or honey. She paused and looked over her shoulder, surprised that he hadn't made an appearance yet. Perhaps he wasn't hungry. She had well come to the conclusion that he was in denial about his existence as a vampire. She wasn't sure if he had been a vampire for long or not. Whether he perhaps had only just been turned and thus was rejecting himself. Vampires tended to turn people without thought of their mental fortitude. She had heard stories of such, of them turning people on a whim, if they liked them. None had liked her. She paused and returned her gaze back to the food, her eyes widening as she heard a loud sound from the other room. She turned and lowered the heat of the stove, rushing to see where it had come from. Her eyes widened as she found him on the couch, blood dripping down from his hands. She swallowed and stared from the entryway, entirely unsure of what had happened. He looked hurt, blood dripping from his nose. "A-are you alright?" She asked, worry in her gaze. She had never seen a vampire bleed. They healed quickly. Of course, perhaps that was part of the problem caused by him starving himself. She walked over and grabbed a towel from the kitchen, offering it to him. "Are you hurt?" She followed up, her eyebrows furrowed anxiously. "I--I know a bit of first aid-- I can help..." She offered, seemingly unsure of how to help him. @Argeneau25

When everything finally came into complete view Jansen stared at the female as she was asking about him being alot. "Um...yeah. Just missed a step." He said lying a bit as he really didn't want the other to know that he passed out. Jansen has been doing everything that he could to keep this female safe from him, to make sure that he was not doing anything to freak her out, but it seemed to all go out the window when he was hearing the shaking in her voice. As the blood was wiped off, the wound on his head was but a scar now. "It has healed...so I am fine now." He said fixing himself up before pushing up from the couch only to find himself sitting back down as he felt dizzy once more. With the comment of the female knowing first aid, it was the first time in a LONG time that Jansen let out a light laugh "How would first aid help a Vampire? We heal on our own so it is useless." He said beforing pushing himself to stand up and walked pass the female and into the kitchen where he stopped to look at the food being cooked. It was strange to see food being cooked, that wasn't by him. Jansen sighed before walking to the sink to wash his hands of the blood and clean off his face a bit better. The cold water over his face felt a bit good. He leaned over the sink just holding himself up until he started to dry off. Slowly he turned to face the female again and sighed "I know my father brought you here to be whatever, but do you really want to be here? To be under a roof with a Monster? I know no one really asks those type of things, but I do. I hate how Vampires think they need to control everything, but we shouldn't." He said walking to the table and sat down, just for once now enjoying a bit of the female's company. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

How would first aid help a Vampire? Rue paused, bewildered. For a moment, her expression was priceless, confusion twisting along it as she attempted to explain herself. Her cheeks grew hot and dusted with embarassment, hair slipping in her eyes as she shook her head, "I-I don't know--" Her voice cracked, her lips tugging into a sheepish smile, "I just panicked... I didn't know how to help without telling you to drink my blood and I don't know... you just don't seem like the whole let me drink your blood type." She rambled, her words coming fast as she attempted to explain herself. She had never explained herself to a vampire before. She also had never had to help a vampire before, at least not willingly. And yet, she had jumped into action to help him faster than she had thought. Do you really want to be here? It was a strange question. Her gaze followed the vampire as he moved to wash his face. His habits were surprisingly human. Moreso than the other vampires that she knew. She paused, her gaze falling as she thought it through. To be under a roof with a Monster? She pursed her lips and looked up to him once more shrugging. "Do I want to be here...?" She asked, as if confirming. As he knew, no one had ever asked such of her before. She paused, fiddling with her fingers, "I would like to remain here... if it weren't an issue or problem." She noted, her voice coming softer. "And... to be up front with you... I don't see you as a Monster." It was a phrase she had never said to a vampire before. And yet, she entirely meant it. He was not a monster. "In the past... I've lived in places where I wasn't allowed to speak...places where I slept in a metal cage... places where they would whip me if I acted out of line. I've lived with Monsters who have drank me so dry that I didn't awaken for days. I've lived with Monsters who thought nothing of me." She paused, something dark in her eyes. "So... in comparison... I'm not really sure I'd call you a Monster." Sh

Jansen just sat at the table watching the female. It was the first time that he really watched her, to see the way that she carried herself, the bit of fear that he sensed on her. With a raised brow, he thought about everything that the female was saying to him. It was a change really. To see someone that wanted to help and didn't see him as a Monster, or at least not yet. They all end up seeing THAT side of him the side that he hides most of the time, but it will slip, if he is not careful. "I will say that yes your blood is tempting and it is so close, but I put that side of me away. I will never take from humans again. That monster is to be stay caged. Is it hard not to rip your throat open, YES. But it is not like I wam going to do it without fighting myself to stop myself from doing so." He said in a way wanting to show the female that he was a monster and did things that a monster does. Something about it was trying to scare her away. He wanted to protecter her, there was something about her that was pure and he didn't want to see that be taken away, with being here with him. With sitting at the table, Jansen felt his gut twist and turn, wanting the thing that he has been trying to hold off from doing. Drinking Blood. He hated to do it infront of anyone as it was disgusting to him. But on the other hand it was what it did to him. Any blood that he drank seemed to rut him from the inside out, and make him just sick. HE didn't want anyone to see, to pitty him for this pain that he has to go through. But with the female being here, human female, he didn't want her to think that she needed to force him to drink. HE didn't want to, to open that side again and be that monster.
12:38
It was after a moment that Jansen pushed himself up from the chair and walked to the fridge he grabbed the bag of blood and walked out, walking out to the garden to just be by himself. He needed to do what he had to and to do it without eyes on him. It was all fear to him now. There were feelings growing deep down inside of him about this female and it was not going to be what everyone thinks. It is not romance or sweet, it is of survival and terror. Jansen wanted to continue to show that he was not like all the others but even that was slowly slipping from his hands, the longer that this female was here. @꒰ shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

It was strange. Even this conversation left Rue entirely unsure of how to conduct herself. The vampire was a mystery to her. She knew not even his name. And yet what she knew of him was that he wasn't like other vampires. While it hadn't even been 24 hours since she had arrived, not once had he drank her blood, nor had he told her what to do. Unless you counted him telling her to leave him alone. She didn't count that. She didn't see him as a monster. At least not yet. He hadn't given her a reason to think such, not with the actions he had chosen. I will say that yes, your blood is tempting, but I put that side of me away. I will never take from humans again. That monster is to stay caged. She paused, her gaze lingering on him. "Then you aren't a monster at all." She said softly, "We all have our monsters, in a way, do we not?" She asked, her eyes falling to peer at her hands. "Things that we want to hide. Things that we shun and hate about ourselves." She spoke softly, her posture softening as she wrung at her fingers. "Though I'm sure it's painful... I appreciate it." She noted, not looking down on him but acknowledging his attempts and effort as worthwhile. "It's kind of nice being looked at as more than just a juice box." She lifted her gaze and smiled, letting him see the only smile she had ever shown one of them. And yet as quickly as she had shown him it, he had stood and walked to the fridge, rushing out of the kitchen to leave her once more by herself. Had talking about it made it harder on him? She wasn't sure. She paused and looked down at the food she had prepared, sighing softly as she took a bite and slumped into her seat. There wasn't anything else more to say, or to do. Even if he told her to run, there was no where safer than with him, even if he feared his control was slipping. @Argeneau25
