the music and lights are infectious, and I move onto the dance floor, bouncing with the crowd and the beat. Strangers faces all around me, bodies pressed close together, energy, the smell of different colognes and perfumes and bodies all combine to heighten my own energy. Running underneath all of that, even with the loud music and voices, I can sense people. Their presence, their heartbeat, their awareness.
I notice the exact moment he approaches me. I stop just as he steps in front of me, becoming still suddenly.
"Hello!" He says, smiling. "My name's Rick. I've never seen you here."
"I'm Adrianna, and I've never been here!" I grin, still feeling energetic and lively.
"Can I get you a drink?" He offers. We head to the bar and he buys me a cocktail. I hardly touch it as we chat. He flirts with me, showing more interest the more we talk. I can't seem to keep my mind off of him, his skin, his warmth...his blood.
It isn't long before I find myself at the lounge, on a couch with him. He puts his hand on my thigh, getting more bold as I respond to his advances with interest. But I'm getting nervous. Almost like that was what I'd been waiting for, something in me kicks into action. Growling softly, I return the kiss. I grab hold of his shirt and push him back, onto the couch. I continue kissing him as I turn and swing my leg over his lap. His hands go to my hips, moving my body against his, pulling me tight against him.
