The sound of the alarm blaring over the intercoms and the flashing red lights was enough to awake the Bovorin from his slumber. Though his vision was blurred and the warnings echoing throughout the ship was enough to disorient anyone. "WARNING! AN UNIDENTIFIED LIFE FORM HAS BOARDED THE SHIP!" This warning would go off several times, along with the sound of heavy footsteps and screaming out in the halls. The Bovorin arose from his bed slowly, walking towards his door, hearing the blood curdling screams and thumps going on out in the halls. "ATTENTION ALL PERSONEL, PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE ESCAPE PODS LOCATED IN--" The announcement was cut off abruptly along with the lights. It was as if the power had been shut down. The hiss of the door in front of him unlocked and slid open, revealing the darkness of the hallways beyond. The faint glow of the emergency lights kicked on, though not very bright, it was better than walking in the dark. A faint exhale from his mouth was enough to show his breath in the air. There was a breach somewhere on the ship, which meant he wouldn't have long if the oxygen within the ship was being sucked out into space. It was either he leave now and have a chance at survival or stay here and freeze. Grabbing his jacket and throwing it on, the Bovorin took a step out into the hallway, his breath being the only guidance besides the dim lights above him to show him the way. The walls were made of thick metal, but they had been dented to hell with a myriad of corpses littering the edges of the halls. They were mutilated beyond recognition and made the male's stomach twist at the sight. Smashed in skulls, ripped open chest cavities and organs strung about like a child who left their toys out. It was indeed a massacre. While it was silent now, that didn't guarantee the attackers were gone. They had to still be around.. A loud thump from behind him caused the Bovorin to turn around quickly, his heart beating rapidly in his chest. As if fi

ghting to get out. There was nothing there. Just the hallway caked in a sea of blood. I gotta get out of here.. The Bovorin picked up the pace, listening to the crackle of lose wires in a nearby room. By the looks of it, it had to be the Engine Room. Which meant they didn't want any of the inhabitants on the ship to leave. Did that mean they got to the Escape Pods? Surely not, right? The escape pods had their own power source, and they were on the side of the ship near the breach.

Shit, I need to get out of here, now.. If I stay, they'll find me for sure With a sharp inhale, the Bovorin took off down the hallways. His boots thudding hard against the metal floor, blood splashing up and dripping all along his boots and lower pants. The closer he got towards the escape pods, the colder it got. Which meant they had breached a hole in the ship fairly close to the pods. He could feel his lungs starting to pressurize a little as he neared the breach. The hole in the ship was enough to take up almost all of the hallway except for a thin piece he would have to carefully scoot across. But anytime he got close, he could feel his skin starting to freeze ever so slightly. He would only have a couple minutes to get to the other side. Just as the Bovorin had taken his first few steps along the edge of the hallway he heard footsteps coming from the otherside. Quicker, he had to move quicker if he didn't want to get spotted. Gripping ahold of a nearby pipe, the male scooted along the edge. He could feel his fingers freezing up, his skin getting colder by the second and his inability to breath too well. Finally making it across the gap in the ship, he moved as fast as he could, which wasn't fast enough. He had just barely made it to the escape pod room, where it looked all but one had been damaged from the impact. The male forced himself to open the pod, weakly climbing in. The door to the pod shut and it only took the last of the strength he had with him to push the button activating detachment from the ship. "Find closest inhabitable planet.." After that, he couldn't open his eyes or move his body any longer. He was now at the mercy of the pod. @Tasmanian Satan

It has been a month since Dion started his new job, or his summer internship. His teacher had gotten him after a few of his papers and his contribution. Though many called him crazy for some of his papers and the way he fought against teachers. Dion was infamous for his headstrong behavior, something he learned from his Uncle. Dion had been excited for the job opportunity, his Professor had recommended him and they took him under his wing. His Professor had been someone who let Dion wild head go, Dion found the banters between them fun and the professor had learned a few things from him cause Dion was always the type to stop the argument to gather information before coming back just as hard. Dion was careful with his job, he knew that type of behaviour wouldn't be good for him in the job, but there had been a few instances where he had a heated argument with someone over their stupidity. It didn't help that he was the head's assistant, which made him slightly above the others in a way. Though he never let it get to his head, like right now. Dion was discussing something, the Head had asked him to speak to one of the scientists to ask where information was. He had been respectful at first, then the scientists had to open his mouth and be a jerk to Dion. Dion takes a breath as the man yelled at him for… Dion paused, what was he being yelled at for? “Sir I'm just asking for the samples that the boss had ask about, they need it for another lab and report. It's not my fault you have no time management skills. I'll go inform the boss” he says plainly and turned around to leave the lab, he wasn't gonna take verbal abuse from an idiot. He was walking back when people ran past him panicking, then he felt a vibration from his phone. He picked it up to see a message from the boss to report to the main controls, that something was going down. He quickly rushed to the control room to see it's in a panic. His eyes widened as he rushed over to him, “what's going on?” “

Something is showing up on our radar, and it might hit one of the satellites, and has a probability it will hit earth, we are trying to get the exact facts,” his boss said, an older man with white hair with a short beard around his mouth and up his jaw line. He was wearing a black button up and black jeans, he turned to one of them to order them to hurry up and get those reports. “Are there any plans to retrieve it, if it heads for earth?” Dion asked curiously, since nothing like this has happened, it was boring. This was the first exciting thing for them in a month. He wanted to be a part of the team then retrieved a meteor. His mentor turned to him and raised a brow as if knowing what he wanted before chuckling, “bored already” “Maybe… you can't blame me… I also don't wanna be here for more yelling” The man just laughs and shakes his head, “we'll talk about it if it hits the planet” They both watched as everyone, Dion going off a bit to help when someone called for it. The boss as well walked off to do what was needed to get this information faster while instructing everyone to work and what he wanted. Dion couldn't help but look at the large screen and see the feed of where the object was a few times. Curious what it could be, where it came from from the sound of it, it seemed like it came from nowhere, they didn't have any meteors reports earlier.

He felt like he was drifting in space forever. His consciousness was barely there, and his body weak from the oxygen that had been deprived from his body moments ago. Just as he was working on waking himself up, he noticed that the escape pod seemed to have found a suitable planet. His vision was a bit blurred still but from what he could see, it was green and blue. Vibrant life. Uzol sat up some in his seat, looking at the controls on the Command Board. "Alright, let's try and land then.." he spoke to himself, taking ahold of the control device and flipping a couple switches to turn on manual control. By the looks of it he could see that there were some meteors in orbit already, so navigating through them would be a hassle. But he had faith in his skills. Firmly holding onto the Control Wheel, he guided himself through a few of the meteors, nearly dodging others that unexpectedly got too close. The sight of an unfamiliar device in space however caught his interest. It was metal in appearance, a large dish with an antennae inside it. What was it? Flying closer towards it to take a look, a sharp hit to the side of the Pod. "Shit.." he turned his body slightly to look at the side of the pod to see a crack in the glass. "It's fine.. I was just careless.." he mumbled before sitting himself down properly in his seat. "Let's just try and land safely.." Slowly he pushed up on the Control Device, maneuvering around the large rocks as best as he could. Another hit to the Pod, this time from a larger rock that slammed him into another meteor. Before he knew it, he found that the controls were not operating after that last hit. One final hit from the back of the pod sent the Pod forwards towards the Earth, the escape pod spinning and making it's way towards Earth's atmosphere. Uzol worked quickly to secure himself in his seat with a seatbelt before trying to regain control of the pod. No matter what he did, it didn't seem like anything was working. This time, another r

ock hit the pod from above, breaking the glass a bit more and fullsend the pod broke through the atmosphere. The pressure from the pod speeding downwards as well as the lack of oxygen up here was enough to knock Uzol out. The pod came crashing down, breaking apart from the intense speed that was not letting up until finally the seatbelt snapped apart and he was separated from the pod. Uzol fell straight into a lake with a huge splash and the pod exploded upon impact with the land at least 50 feet away from the lake. His unconscious body could do nothing but sink into the depths. Water began to fill his lungs, and the wounds that tore at his skin was enough to bleed a part of the lake red. His body skewered on an old piece of metal straight through his side. @Tasmanian Satan

As everyone scrambled to get information on the situation, Dion was scrambling around trying his best to help anyone he could. It wasn't the best situation, but it was definitely something. That was when the information came in, “SIR, Something weird is happening, an unknown object is…” One of them called out, and everyone watched on the large screen the meteor fly by but there was another unknown object floating around, and it hit the satellite along with some meteor. There was a loud groan as everyone realized it means that they would need to send a second one up there if it's damaged beyond repair, but others looked at the object that was now plummeting to earth. “GET ALL THE INFORMATION ON WHETE THAT OBJECT IS DROPPING,'' The Older man's voice echoed the room, making everyone jump into panic again, as they scrambled to get more information on what to land. Dion couldn't help but be excited, cause that meant a group was gonna be sent out to find the object. People were checking, doing the math of where the meteor was gonna land to pick it up, or see the damage. The boss was quick to call for Dion and order him and a few other people to go investigate the object. He would send the location once they pinpoint the landing zone. He quickly rushed off to the changing room, he would need to put on a uniform. He grabbed the fabric vest with the logo, then grabbed his bag to put his notes to write everything down so he could report it back easily. He made his way to where the car was. There were a few scientists there already ready to go, that was when a small group of 4 men with more tactical uniform came out as well. That confused him till he got a ping from his boss telling him that it's to make sure no civilian gets close. He shrugged, not thinking much of it, they would deal with it when they arrived. He was given the location and everyone stepped inside the van, they were gonna be a scout of type to check if there's even anything to collect. Especially now

that reports said it had a chance to land in the lake. The group began to make their way, when they arrived, they rushed there wanting to make it before impact, luck had been on their side as it wasn't too far. As they drove Dion looked out the window, looking up at the sky to see any changes, they had information coming in about impact time. The closer and closer they got, that was when they saw it, something flying above them and then something falling out into the lake. Though the others didn't seem to notice as the others were more focused on the thing crashing into the ground away from it. They pulled up to the crash site quickly while Dion started radioing everything in, reporting everything back to the base, he stepped out of the van with everyone, they were all careful as they moved towards the crash site.. “Boss you're not gonna believe this- go check the crash site be careful we don't know if it will blow up or something. Check if you can see a number or country on it!” he orders. Thinking maybe it was an escape pod for a rocket, but that wouldn't make sense since it came from space and he was sure no one made something like that, who knows where. It takes a bit till they see it, and Dion almost faints as it's not human. “The fuck, Boss.” he says, knowing that the fed was seeing what he was seeing, “Maybe the info is wrong, and we followed a testing pod? Was there testing nearby?” he then ordered everyone to check everything, the pod didn't seem to have anyone in it so he turned to look at the lake and began to move towards it. Hoping to see something, maybe a body or something in case someone landed on the water. He scanned the water and noticed something red on the surface not far. He let out a soft shit, and called out. “I think someone fell in the water! I knew I wasn't crazy when I noticed something fall out!” He says and quickly removes his ear pierce and glasses before running into the water and diving in to swim to where it was.

While he was unconscious and bleeding out under the water, he could still feel that immense pain. Being impaled was one thing, but not being able to do anything about it? He was basically dead already. At least he would have been if not for a mysterious person fishing him out of the water. However, Uzol didn't know this. All he knew was that he was in pain and that he was growing more tired by the minute. Shit.. Why am I so tired.. so cold? Did they finish me off? Those invaders? Clearly they must have found me.. Or else I wouldn't be feeling like my guts were being ripped open.. His thoughts were a bit muddled but it wasn't like he was in any condition to think straight. For all he knew, he could already be dead. The thought of an entire genocide that had taken place on the Refugee Ship and he could have died there. Now? Trying to escape those threats only to nearly be dying on another planet. How bad could his luck get? Uzol needed to wake up. He needed to get out of this water, needed to treat his wounds. Needed time to think out his options. But no matter how hard he tried, it seemed that he just couldn't wake up. Why was that? Was it because he was tired that he didn't have the energy to wake up? Would he be stuck like this? Would he.. die like this? Would a coma really hold him here, stuck in purgatory between life and death? Let there be one good thing for me.. Just one.. @Tasmanian Satan

Dion dived into the lake water, thankful that he took those swimming and life guard courses back in high school. He swimming towards where the red was he then dived under. He couldn't see well cause of the water but also because of his glasses. He was determined though, he didn't want someone to drown cause of him. He reached out towards what looked like a man, and grabbed them. Feeling the arm, it felt like flesh so he pulled and brought them close to him the best he could and began to swim up. He was starting to lose breath, it was burning but he kept swimming. Pushing himself till finally, he let out a loud gasp, when they broke through the water. Everything was still blurry, "Don't worry! I got you" he says to the man in his arm, still not realizing how inhuman they were, more focused on getting them to land. It was a struggle till finally he did it, then he heard the gasp and panic, he was confused and told them to hurry up and get medical attention to the person. He patted around for his glasses only for it to be handed to him and he put it on. He then saw it, the horns and face. Dion eyes widened in shock, that wasn't a human. That's when everyone acted fallowing his orders and try to bring the alien back to consciousness. The army guys pointing a gun, a medical team arriving as quickly as it could. They were gonna take the alien back to the station, he grabbed his headpiece and was getting orders, which he called out and repeated to everyone in the forest. Organising the transport for the Alien to return with them and save their life. They didn't want to move the sharp objects and have the alien bleeding out.
