Blæd had left while Estel slept, feeling a soft sense of shame that he was going to stress the other. He had no understanding of why Estel was so close already to him....
He had to lay down from the force, the light wrapping about his hands. The energy cut like fire, making his head ache. Sorrow, shame, pain, anger. All of it returned to him. He shared it all with them.
When the light broke from him and the link to man snapped, he gasped for breath. The pressure that'd set into his chest suddenly relieved and he was left laying staring at the sky.
He was too tired to move, blinking slowly, the stars turning to lines in his sight. It all was blurring together.
In the castle Tyto pushed up to stand and stepped off the balcony, wide wings letting him glide off into the trees, heading for where the light had touched the ground.
