Seven hundred years had passed since Lady Elyssa Yamato Amaterasu Wentworth was turned into a vampire, and she had reigned as a formidable presence in the nocturnal shadows. With her ethereal beauty and unworldly grace, mortals were drawn to her like moths to a flame. But beneath her enchanting allure lurked the weight of time and an impending darkness that threatened to consume her. Lady Elyssa, adorned in a flowing crimson gown that accentuated her porcelain skin, stood alone in her opulent chamber, adorned with priceless antiques and ancient texts. The flickering candlelight cast eerie shadows, mirroring the turmoil within her soul. As the moon rose high in the sky, its pale light filtered through the stained glass windows, casting a ghostly glow upon her as she surveyed the vastness of her existence. A stifled cough echoed through the chamber, a reminder of the ailment that plagued her undead existence. It was a mysterious curse, unfathomable even to one as ancient and knowledgeable as she. Lady Elyssa had exhausted all known remedies, but her condition only worsened. A deep sigh escaped her lips, a mix of weariness and apprehension "I fear I am running out of time," she murmured softly, her voice like a distant echo. "The curse threatens to consume me, body and soul."

Suddenly, a timid knock at the chamber door brought her thoughts back to the present. Lady Elyssa's weary expression transformed into one of curiosity as she bid her visitor to enter. The door creaked open, revealing a young servant named Amelia, who gazed at her mistress with a mixture of reverence and concern. "Mistress," Amelia began timidly, her voice trembling. "I could not help but overhear your words. Is there something I can do to assist you?" Lady Elyssa regarded the young girl, her austere features softening for a brief moment. She had taken Amelia into her service decades ago, recognizing her potential and resilience. "Amelia, my loyal servant," Lady Elyssa spoke with a tinge of sadness, "I am in need of a new servant, now more than ever. But this role I offer is not a mere task, it is a test of sacrifice and devotion." Amelia's eyes widened in both awe and trepidation. She had always known that Lady Elyssa's world held deep, arcane secrets, but she had never imagined being drawn into its heart "Mistress," Amelia stammered, looking at the mistresses green eyes, gulping softly as Elyssa would approach the servant “Hm?” she hummed softly looking down at her “The new.. the new servant is here, his name is Raphael..” she said as she’d lead Elyssa towards the entrance of the castle where a guard would be standing next to Raphael, the guard kneeling at sight of the mistress “Mistress!” the guard spoke “allow me to introduce Raphael, your new servant” the guard said as Elyssa gave him the ok to stand up, as he did “Hmp..” Shed scowl eyeing the man up and down

Standing at his heigh of 6'4 feet and inches, a well masculine appearing body through the outside of his clothes, a chiseled skin and muscle structure inside.

He wore rather protective clothing, a red velvet buttoned up shirt that tightened against his chest and his shoulders, hidden by the coat on his arms as he had his arms crossed whilst he awaited her to greet him...

Upon meeting her gaze as she saw him, he smiled rather foolishly before he spun and bent over to greet her.

"Myyyy Mistress, I've heard great things~"

He slightly teased, slowly standing back upright as she could get an even better look at him, quickly fluttering and moving his short red hair, combing it with his hand as he moved his head to the side, was he... Modelling in front of her?, It appears so, as he was ever so slightly hinting at doing such a thing.

"It's... A bit breezy, may I come in please?"

He politely asked, having clasped his hands together with a cheerful smile on his face.

As Elyssa's eyes fell upon him, her expression twisted into a disgusted attitude. She couldn't help but feel repulsed by his overly self-assured demeanor and carefully styled appearance. "Ugh, great. Another conceited show-off," *she muttered under her breath, her tone dripping with disdain When he greeted her with that foolish smile and made a show of bending over, Elyssa rolled her eyes. "Oh, how charming," she retorted sarcastically, hissing As he stood back up, he continued to primp and adjust his hair, as if he were on a runway rather than in front of her. It was clear that he wanted her to admire his supposed attractiveness, but all Elyssa saw was an egotistical man desperate for attention. "It's a bit breezy, huh? How about you take that inflated ego of yours and go find a wind shelter," she replied coldly, her voice dripping with venom. Clearly this behavior was not going to be tolerated by her, as she’d eye the guard giving him the ‘ok’ look, as the guard would nudge him forward so he’d be in the building with the snap of her fingers the gates shut behind them, with a loud bang and an echo following as the mistress would look at her nails, already bored and annoyed “and how exactly did we find him?” she glared at the guard her eyes flaring red, as the guard stuttered, Elyssa would look back to him, with a sly smirk “I can’t wait to break that ego of yours” she said chuckling maliciously as she looked towards Amelia “Amelia will show you around, go follow her hm?” @Ghoobert (edited)

As he felt the nudge push against his back, he obedientally entered through the gates as to avoid a stabbing from the guard, feeling the wind hit against his back from the doors closing... That scared him for a moment.

Without much to do, he stretched out his arm to sort of warm up, having walked a good amount just to get here, he felt his arms getting sore as he simply stretched them out, wouldn't want to carry around a sick vampire lady with sore arms now, would he?

"... Don't threaten me with a good time~"

He uttered under his breath, being a slight Masochist underneath all muscle and flesh, he looked around the entrance as he followed after his newly appointed mistress for a few feet, before being shoved away to follow whom he will soon replace in duties for a tour.

"Will do, madame."

He decided it'd be best to show at least some tad bit of respect over the authority that is above him, as to spare himself the cleaving of his tongue, he looked at the lovely Amelia before following after obedientally with both of his hands interlocked behind his back.

Amelia, with her tan complexion and entrancing light brown eyes, possessed a charm that was as captivating as her striking black straight hair, which cascaded down to her lower back. Though hers was not a mundane existence, her beauty was merely a foundation for a much more intriguing story. Amelia, the faithful servant, had once been chosen to serve as one of the first mistress's trusted aides. Born during an era of darkness when supernatural beings roamed the night, she had become entwined in the enigmatic world of vampires. Embracing her unique nature, she dedicated herself to her mistress's every command, mastering the intricacies of ancient vampire etiquette and serving her spectral mistress with unwavering loyalty. As Elyssa told him that she was going to give him a tour of the castle, Amelia stood straight and stepped aside to make herself more presentable “Very well my lady” she spoke softly, her voice sweet like honey as Elyssa would walk off, Amelia would look to Raphael, her hands infront of her as she’d softly nod “come along now” the tour began as Amelia would give history about the castle, showing each room and what the use was for the rooms. The castle was more of a 1600 style, with beautiful cravings in the wall and ceilings. An antique look if you will. As the tour would end by his chambers “and here will be your chambers” she said opening the room, similar to a room of a prison, a bed and a small closet “the bathroom is around the corner, I know it’s not lavish but.. atleast the mistress provides a room” she said as she’d look back to him “any questions?” @Ghoobert

"The walls... Feels like I've seen them before, heh."

He spoke to himself, rubbing his right palm against it gently, as if he had been previously exposed to such style... Either who, he crosses his arms and tilts his head slightly.

"... Let me guess, your room's nicer than this or?"

It didn't seem like he was annoyed by the room, rather the opposite, a weak light hastily flashed in his eye before it suddenly dispersed, as if embracing such an environment.

"It's... Well, better than any place I've been to- The castle, not, not the room-"

He said, correcting and specifying almost immediately after as he scratched the back of his head... He started to think to himself for a moment... What was he even going to do here?... And will he start right now or?...

"... You've been around for a while... What does being a servant specifically entail??"

Amelia shook her head no “all servants and maids rooms are the same, the mistress shows no favoritism to anyone” Amelia said as she’d watched him, chuckling as he asked the question “Maintaining the mistresses living quarters, keeping it clean and well-maintained, including dusting, organizing, and ensuring everything is in order, the mistress hate when things are misplaced.. hmm Procuring fresh blood, Sourcing and providing the mistress with regular doses of fresh blood, whether through hunting or acquiring from other sources, although only certain vampires do that, so don’t worry about that” “Guarding the mistress during daylight hours, ensuring the mistresses safety and security during the daylight when she is vulnerable to sunlight, that will be one of your primary duties, I like to call it ‘day duties’, Running errands and tasks, Completing various errands and tasks for the mistresses , such as shopping for supplies, making travel arrangements, or delivering messages, that’s kinda my job, though you will be helping as well..” “Oh! Learning and adapting to the mistress preference, you will understand the mistress likes, dislikes, and needs, and adjusting your behavior and actions accordingly.. if you fail do that that.. errr you wouldn’t want to know, that is the mistress number 1 thing.. and lastly being available at all times, the mistress may call you at random times and you must be present failure to do so.. I heard the mistress kills you with her bare hands.. does that answer your question..?”

Listening to her describe what he would be doing for... Well, the next eternity was a bit mind boggling, not that he minded it, it was just... Too simple for something so complex?, He felt like he was supposed to be a part of something bigger, especially since it was THE Lady Elyssa Yamato he was going to be a worker for, not a really employee friendly environment, huh...

Honestly?, Raises even more questions but, if I'm getting it right, I can just circle it down to being a choreboy, bodyguard and butler... Should be simple enough.

He threw his hands up in agreement as he took a step into his newly appointed room, looking around it before rubbing the back of his neck with his right hand, turning his head to look at her.

A few more things, are there any other household rules?, Any timetables, sleeping periods, dayshifts, nightshifts, I get what I gotta do now, but is there any specific time for doing the other things?, Day duties is clear enough for me, no need to mention that again.

"mhm" She said nodding as he asked about household rules "I cant give a definite answer, it all depends on the mistress, as she changes her mind every day. I suggest if you arnt working, you eat, or sleep.. I assume your human right? Or well- whatever you are I know you will be needing sleep. the mistress sleeps during the day, and is more active at night." she shrugged "you can ask the senior guards that question--" as she was cut off feeling the cold eerie breeze enter the room

The mistress would appear behind the two as she held her long pipe in her hand, taking an inhale and exhaling the smoke out, looking at the two "and how long is this going to take?" she hissed in anger "its been well over a hour, no tour should ever take this long! The new toy has his jobs to do and so do you" she glared at the two her velvet red eyes glowing as her pipe vanished, folding her arms "New kid, come with me at once, Amelia, you will be one feeding duty, go find me some fresh meatbags NOW" she said as Amelia gulped leaving immediately leaving Elyssa with Raphael "Pathetic" she scoff as she left the room hoping Raphael was follwing her "Now you will be guarding me today, which means I want you by my side at all times. If you leave me for one second I will have you killed." she spoke looking at him with all seriousness "Today I have meetings all day and a treaty sighning, you will be accompanying me to all meetings and standing on my right handed side, you will also be given a silver sword, a sword that will kill vampires if you impale them right into their hearts. You are to do that if a vampire tries to attack me. Understood?"

A shiver going down his spine as his Lady had appeared right behind him out of nowhere, just as she finished scolding the pair of them, a drop of sweat went down his face but he remained calm and collected.

Committing a 360 spin as she left his room and proceeded to follow her, about to be at her left until she asked him to be at her right in which he stepped to her right so fast it was as if he vanished and reappeared... He wasn't taking any chances with her this early.

"I understand."

With his hands behind his back, he nodded his head with a slight smirk, internally happy as fuck because he'll get to WIELD A SWORD!, WOOOOH!, AND POSSIBLY STAB SOMEONE WITH IT!!, For a good moment, he imagined himself as a knight in shining armor and her as his damsel in distress, his own facial expression changing to a more happy and giddy one as he daydreamed for several seconds.
