Glancing to the time on the phone, she frowned... it was an hour later than she thought she had set the alarm for. Shit... Maya quickly would throw the covers off of her, leaping out of bed and dashing towards the bathroom. As she did, she would strip out her bed clothes, leaving them strewn over the floor in the hallway as she went. Fortunately, living alone meant she didn't need to worry about anyone complaining and she could tidy up the mess later that day. She would shower quickly, glad she had washed her hair the evening before, before jumping out to grab a towel. Glancing into the mirror she peered at the water droplets on her skin, sighing softly as they didn't seem to go anywhere. Still no match. Throwing her bag on over her arm she would quickly head out the door, locking it behind her and jogging down the steps. Her apartment was relatively central so it was easier to walk to the office than anything else. Once she was outside she would pull the brown folder from her bag, flipping it open to start rehearsing what she was going to say. It wasn't ideal really, but as it was the only time she was going to have she had no other options. As she turned onto one of the major city streets, it became more and more difficult to read and dodge people, bumping them as she went "Sorry! So sorry! Excuse me!" Sometimes he really forgot to eat, today wasn’t that day. There was a lot that he should have done however, and he would admit that. One of them being going to sleep. But food? He was doing fine and more importantly he had his caffeine. There was that coffee he had with a muffin for breakfast at the start of the day, it felt like it was only a couple hours ago that he had it, but he knew that it was the breakfast that he had the day before. Then he had an energy drink at around lunch time followed by another coffee when he had his dinner. A dinner that he finished quickly before he got back to work leaving his hands covered in paint as he worked through the night until sunrise. He should have gone to sleep by now, but the problem with sleep was that it could ruin your steam, he felt the muse whirring still and he didn’t want to lose but. But when he felt himself yawn again his eyes trying to close, he frowned. He needed more coffee. He put down his paintbrush, for now, letting the wet paint leak onto a piece of paper. the good thing about spam mail he had found was that he could use it to keep paint from leaking everywhere.
3:25 PM
Slowly he pulled himself to his feet and gripped his wrists to stretch his long limbs while he yawned dried paint covering the fingers of his left hand, a bit even getting onto his knuckles as he slapped his hands together out of reflex getting some paint on his right hand that he would bother to get rid of later. For now, he was just gonna get coffee. So, with music in his ears playing from black earbuds, he started his slow walk, it wasn’t like he was in much of a rush after all, it would do him some good getting out into the sun. He even took a longer walk skipping the coffee shop that was closest to his apartment to instead go to the one that was his favourite. Before long he was heading back with a paper bag in his hands containing a blueberry muffin as well as a Biscoff flavoured doughnut and finally in his other hand was a Biscoff coffee. Yes, he did like Biscoff quite a bit. 🎵 Teasin' me again Why does she play with me, Why does she play with me? Like it’s just pretended? She pulls away from me 🎵 When he felt a body bump into his he instinctively stood up straighter as he kept his balance his head looking back to apologise as he managed to keep his drink from spilling. “Sorry.” The words left his lips instinctively as he turned around hearing the quick apology but the woman who had bumped into him already seemed to be walking off. She had to be in a rush.
3:25 PM
🎵 Oh no, killin' me again I was slurring all my words Trying to keep it all together I wish that my best was better 🎵 When he got back his muse wasn’t quite there anymore, instead replaced by a burning desire that consumed his thoughts and so he headed to bed planning to take care of his urges. He was left wondering why as he got home and let himself flop down onto bed. Why was he so needy? why did he want to fuck so badly. He kicked off his jeans and slid his hand into his pants to grip his cock so hard it was almost painful as he started to stroke the image of a woman with black hair filling his imagination.

Squeezing between a few people who had gathered on the sidewalk to chat, one stepped back, making Maya stumble into a guy passing the other way with his coffee and what appeared to be a bag of food. Maya squeezed her folder up to her chest to protect it as she squeaked a quick apology, before making it through the crowd. Fortunately the last 2 blocks to her office location were moving more freely with others hurrying their way to work meaning she managed to get there with a few minutes to spare. Dropping all her stuff at her desk she headed to the bathroom to clean up, grabbing some hand towels as she walked through the door. She looked in the mirror to her arm where she had felt a drop of coffee spill from where she bumped the guy in the street but... there was nothing there. Maya frowned a moment confused but... it wasn't unlikely that she could have just seen a splash and imagined it. Shrugging she tossed the tissue into the bin, looking back to the mirror to sort her hair and straighten her outfit. She was just smoothing the waistband of her skirt against the sweater tucked in it when there was a sudden wave of heat that rushed through her, making her gasp as her cheeks flushed, falling forwards a moment against the sinks. Maya met her own gaze in the mirror, looking embarrassed and wondering where the sudden surge of arousal had come from, her eyes looking down at her skirt as she was trying to think if her hand had brushed any particularly sensitive points. The skirt sat too high on her waist though for that to be a possibility. Closing her eyes she shook her head, trying to clear the feeling before hurrying out of the bathroom, it was time for her meeting and she needed to focus. Grabbing her folder she marched to the meeting room where 3 older gentleman sat at one end of the long table chatting. They grew quiet as Maya walked in and took a position at the other end, standing next to the table. She gulped, allowing a moment of silence as she tried to p

"Gentlemen, thank you for agreeing to come in and see me today. I wanted to talk with you about the Wilson case, I believe I've found something that will give us an edge. However, I want to be clear that if we are going to use this information in the trial, I wish to be the one to present it to the court..." Really, he should have thought about this more, he should have questioned the sudden hormones, the sudden need. It was as if he had somehow found the right person and his body wanted nothing more than to fuck them until they were calling out his name again and again. Lost in pleasure. His hand gripped his hard cock and he’s probably felt harder then has in a long time. His hormones just felt so out of sync, and it was only getting stronger while he pictured that same beautiful black-haired woman red faced and wet. It was that same inspiration that made him continue as he sat up and pulled off his shirt throwing it down onto the floor while he continued to jerk himself off quickly his hand pumping his cock up and down precum leaking from his tip onto the thumb of his right hand and then disappearing making him blink twice before he dismissed it. It was probably just getting absorbed by his skin, and right now he didn’t care about the mess he was about to make on himself. He just wanted to cum. Of course, if he knew of their new connection he would have acted differently. He would have made sure not to make a mess of himself. Or more realistically he would have found her and made a mess inside of her. Still unaware of her he couldn’t to jerk himself off, picturing more than just the black-haired woman’s body even if his imagination could never truly hold up against reality. While he saw flashes of her face no matter how much he tried he couldn’t see more.

Feeling his cock twitch in his in his hands he only stroked himself off faster before he felt his cock throb as he came a moan leaving his lips as he shot thick and warm strands all over his belly that clung to his skin but before he could even think about cleaning himself up it suddenly disappeared bringing him to a shocking revelation as he realised that he had both found his soulmate and seemed to get cum on her in the same day. That was gonna be awkward. “Shit.” he cursed even as he was left unable to help but smile, he finally found her. @👯 Bunny Dancing through Life 👯

Maya was doing her best to keep her presentation on track, utilising some slides she had pre-prepared through the office projector, but it kept feeling that every time she got into a flow with something that rush of heat would creep back up, it seemed to be getting more intense and it was going to ruin her... One such hot flush made her stumble against the desk in front of her, just catching herself with the palms of her hand planted firmly on the table as she tried to take deep breaths. One of the men stood and moved to her side concerned, asking if she was ok. The room felt a little like it was spinning as she dismissed him, reaching for her glass of water and bringing it to her lips with another shaky sip. She wondered if she was getting sick... but it was certainly not an illness she was familiar with. Placing down the glass she felt a wet drop against her thumb, assuming in her shakes she must have spilled some on her. "I'm sorry, I'm fine... where was I..." She'd bring her thumb up to her lips, quickly licking to clear the water droplet before it had run down her skin more. But what hit her tongue wasn't water. The sudden saltiness made her cough a moment and she froze, staring at the water as she tried to figure out where that had come from... or what it could of been. "Uh... can you excuse me... I think I need some air..." She'd turn on her heel, dashing out the meeting room door just as another wave of arousal came over her. Just outside the room she catches herself before she falls against a nearby cabinet, squeezing her legs together as her lips pin close in an attempt to hide a muffled, strained moan. She could feel the rising heat between her legs, but the dampness on the fabric of her panties felt out of place, as her skin for the most part seemed dry... Looking around the office, she realised a number of eyes were on her now, forcing her to blush deeper before trying to walk as normally as possible through and to the women's bathroom. Once ins

ide she checked she was alone before turning and quickly locking the door. Pressing her spine to it she closed her eyes, clenching her hands as she fought with the next wave and groaned loudly. She wondered why she was suddenly so turned on, in the office of all places... and not only that, why did it feel like she was being pushed further without even touching herself? The rising heat was stinging against her skin, so grasping for the fabric of her sweater she peeled it off, heading in to place it in the corner of the counter tops by the marble sink. She looked in the mirror, her skin flushed pink from the warmth and tried not to panic, allowing the heat and the moans to come now she was alone at least... hoping it would soon pass. Her eyes were allowed to drift closed again as she relaxed into the feeling, until she saw a sudden flash of a guys face, his mussed dark hair contrasting the groomed facial hair framing his face, his dark eyes, his pink lips... Maya bit her own lip before the heat suddenly died away... and with it she realised there was something warm against her stomach and chest... Blinking open her eyes she looked in the mirror, spotting the creamy, viscous liquid now dripping down her skin. It was hard not to realise what was happening as she panted to catch her breath, shaking her head lightly. "You fucker... not even a hello..." She whispered under her breath, reaching for the hand towels again to gather them in her grips.
3:56 AM
She'd wet the towels carefully under the tap, trying not to get any on her skin before she would start to wipe herself clean. She wanted to be annoyed, angry even, but she couldn't help but grin at the fact it had happened... finally... she did indeed have a match. A knock on the door made her lift her head, looking over as a male voice called out. "Ms Lawson? Are you okay? Do we need to call someone?" She glanced down at herself, no way could she let them see her in such a state, in just her bra and skirt, covered in what could only be another man's cum.... "I'm fine... i just need a moment..." Sighing she finished cleaning upbwhat she could from her stomach and chest before throwing back on her jumper, trying to straighten herself out as much as she could. As she headed back to the door she could feel the cooling, sticky wetness in her underwear too, realising she hadn't quite caught all of it. Opening the door she headed back out to the office, trying to not meet anyone's gaze. Getting back to the meeting though she would find her items had been removed and placed outside, the men she had been presenting to long gone and another meeting now taking place. That was it, she had missed her big shot, chance of a lifetime... Taking her items back to her desk she sat down with a huff, staring at her black computer screen in thought of what she was going to do next. Work was less of a priority now though as she considered the meaning behind what had happened... she had met him. Somewhere, somehow. But there had been so many people that morning she had interacted with, touched, bumped against... how was she meant to find him? And did he even know yet? Reaching towards her pen pot she plucked out a red fineliner, flicking off the cap and reaching to her hand. Just above her thumb she would draw a small red heart, just like she would back when she turned 18 and was waiting for her soul mate connection with her boyfriend to activate. She was used to it staying th

Part of him still couldn’t quite believe what had happened. It only took him a second to figure it out after he had come and it disappeared but knowing and accepting, we’re two very different things. He just knew that he always wanted to find her. He was excited but not excited in the same way that he was before lust filled want had given way to pleased content as he let him relax as he lied in bed. He managed finish the piece that he was painting. Or at least he finished the first coat now he would just need to put on the final touches. He needed to complete it, but he found that in his muse once he’d get the first coat down it would normally be much easier for him to finish it. The cost of the competition was a night of sleep, but it was one that he would pay happily even if his tiredness was catching up with him now his eyes becoming harder to keep open becoming lidded with sleep as if he had weights trying to make him succumb to sleep. He was about to go to let himself fall asleep but then he saw the small red heart on his hand that he knew he didn’t draw himself. He wasn’t the type to draw on himself on purpose after all and with the recent change it didn’t take him long to remember who draw it causing him to smile happily. He finally found her.
3:58 PM
And there was no way that he was only gonna leave the mark of his cum on her, not when he painting a canvass was something he saw himself being decent at. It was his passion after all he had even managed to convince enough people that he was any good at it to make a living. And so, he reached towards the bedside table towards his right and pulled a pack of drawing pens from it. they were designed for paper so he knew that he would have difficulty creating a good drawing on his arm, but he didn’t mind too much. Not when he wanted to make his soulmate know that he was with her. That he cared about her. So, he uncapped starting with a bright silver before he started to draw first drawing an upper right sharp semi-circle as he drew the moon making the pen smudge against his skin a little to let him create rays of moonlight that shined down. It was hard working with pens not made for skin and it was especially hard that what he draws would just disappear, but he continued working at it, first drawing the moon with its glow shinning down, then he drew a small patch of grass and blossoming from that patch of grass was a vibrant red rose that was still blooming. He continued to work, shutting his eyes so he could picture his drawing and not be put off by the disappearing ink as he then drew a black that that was illuminated by starts, but the red vibrant rose was clearly the start of his drawing as he focused on it making it detailed before he picked up a marker and underneath the rose wrote the simple words “mine” before he let himself fall asleep. @👯 Bunny Dancing through Life 👯

After the red heart had disappeared from her hand, Maya just sat quietly, staring at the spot. There was no instant response so after a few minutes she would just sigh, leaning back in her chair. Her eyes lifted to the screens in front of her. She knew she had work to do. There was a lot she needed to get done in fact... but now, she couldn't focus. How was she meant to work when her soulmate was out there... in the city even, so close yet so far. She was also aware that she really needed to clean up a little better than she had done so in the work bathroom. Her stomach and chest were growing itchy from the dried spots that she hadn't managed to wipe clear, not to mention that which she had missed in her underwear and on her inner thighs now. That was enough to settle her decision, and finally she would stand up, grabbing her bag and her stuff and heading to the front desk. "Hey, can you let Brad know I've gone home... I'm not feeling very well and I think I need to call the doctor." She would explain to the girl at the front desk, before turning and heading back out the door. The walk home was less stressful than her journey to the office at least, the streets having cleared from so many pedestrians now rush hour was over. Throughout the journey she kept thinking about what he would be like, what he would look like, what was he doing at that moment? Had he realised they had met too? Had he realised what he had done to her? Reaching her apartment, Maya headed inside and put her bag down. Seeing her clothes left strewn through the corridor from her rush that morning she set about tidying them away, filling the laundry basket. Only once her home was clean would she begin to undress herself, wrinkling her nose at how sticky and wet her panties were as she slipped them from her legs, tossing them into the laundry basket too. Her jumper was the last item to remove, and once she did so, she would come across the artistic rose basking in the moonlight drawn on her a

rm. Biting her lip she would move to sit on the foot of her bed, softly stroking her touch over the drawing, and softly scrawn handwriting at the bottom. It was skilled, that much was for sure, making Maya blush slightly with pride that her fated partner was so talented. She didn't want to lose it so pushing up from the bed she would wander through to the kitchen, finding her roll of clingfilm. Once fully wrapped up and secure around the artwork on her arm, Maya would make her way back through to the shower to clean off. Hopefully, her soulmate wouldn't be somewhere unfortunate to get a fresh soak... but part of her figured that if he was, it was simply payback for what he had done to her earlier that day anyway. Standing in the cubicle she would flick the shower on, feeling the heat of the water suddenly encase her. It's a strange feeling, being covered in a shower of water yet your skin remains bone dry to the touch. It made lathering the soap much more difficult as she did her best to clean off the remaining evidence of his private moment earlier that day. After a few minutes she was satisfied to be clean though and stepped out, reaching for a towel instinctively. Realising the towel wasn't needed, as the only part of her that had remained wet was her hair she laughed a little, shaking her head and putting the towel back where it was before heading to the bedroom. She figured to find some more casual clothes and head back out. They had met somewhere between her apartment and her workplace, so that would be the best place to start looking...

He could have easily just drawn something easy something quick that would make it clear to him that she was there. Something other than the cum that probably still clung to her skin. Would she want that? Would it comfort her. Either way she didn’t get something easy she got him. Once he woke up, he would try to find her, maybe if he just retraced his steps, he would be able to find her quickly. He was sure that she would do the same. Even if she was probably annoyed at him for what he dd to her before he found out about their new connection. It did give him a thought though as he went to sleep? Until they met how would they deal with self-pleasure? With showers? With baths? If he checked with her first, would she be fine with him getting off and getting it on her? He was sure that would be an awkward conversation at last. While she got undressed and then bathed, he slept softly his head buried in his pillow as he slept lie the dead not waking up even as she showered. His bedding soaked and soapy with his skin.
4:58 AM
Most people would have woken up from getting soaked, but he wasn't really most people as he instead rolled over and continued to sleep on his back soapy water clinging to his skin and boxers. It was the cold that woke him up as the water quickly grew cold leaving him cold and wet. He shivered as he woke up and sat up with water and soap clinging to his body. It didn’t take him long to realise what had happened as he sighed sleepily before he picked up a pen and quickly wrote on the back of his right hand. Next time we’re showering together he wrote before he wrote under those words, I’m gonna go have a shower quickly he warned before he quickly walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. Waiting for the water to warm up he ran his hand under the water to get her attention as he tried to warn her giving her what felt like minutes as he shivered before he stepped under the hot spray of water a sigh of relief leaving his lips as the soapy water was washed off of him and he was warmed up.
4:58 AM
It was only a quick shower and once he warmed up, he looked at his hand and got an idea. He rushed to get ready to head out, sliding his coat over his shoulders once he was done before on his hand he added to where he was sure that there would be writing on her hands and wrote the words meet me at the park the one with the lake before he was off. Once he reached the park his eyes looked around before he sighed as he failed to recognise anyone, deciding to wait he took off his coat and ignored the way that the cold air bit at his cold skin and instead started to draw the lake on his arm while he waited for his soulmate to show up.

Sinking in to sit at her dressing table, Maya set about drying her hair off before she would head out - if she was intending to meet her soulmate properly for the first time then she at least hoped to be looking her best. Once her hair was dry she would dig out her heated rollers, taking some time to place them in one by one to her long, dark locks. Only once that was done would her attention turn towards her make-up options. Most of what she had was liquid based as it hadn’t ever been a concern to her before… it was of no use now. Maya couldn’t help but laugh, remembering the look of pity the girls in the store would give her each time she bought the liquid foundation, knowing she hadn’t found her one just yet. Raising from her dressing table she headed towards the kitchen, finding a black back with which she could toss the last of the liquid make-up out. There were a few pieces she could still use, powder based products that were labelled as non-transfer, but the majority had to go. Whilst carrying out this activity though, she noticed a mark appearing on the back of her right hand. Pausing, she’d bring it up to look at it, though it mainly came through like black smudges, bleeding into her skin and unrecognisable as any form of shape or words. Maya’s face screwed up in confusion as she watched, concluding maybe he had accidentally spilled some ink there. Moments later though the ink was suddenly washing away, lifting from her skin as a vast amount of water came through. “What the…” Maya would whisper to herself confused a moment, before sudden realisation dawned on her. Yelping, she dropped the black bag and ran into the bathroom, skidding on the tiled floor just as the water doused her head to toe. She was a little late, making herself slip as she entered the shower cubicle and fall, hitting her shoulder against the opposite wall. Wincing she rubbed it softly through the warm water seeming to come through her pores endlessly - obviously her soulmate was ret

urning the shower favour. It was certainly a weird sensation standing in the shower cubicle, shower off, dripping wet endlessly. Fortunately her hair was still up in the rollers, out the way and remaining primarily dry except at the roots where her scalp was a little wet. The rest of her though wasn’t so fortunate. It seemed how shower was quick though, and when the fresh heat stopped coming through and she felt herself cooling off, it was concluded it was safe enough for her to exit once again. Reaching for her towel she had discarded earlier she pulled it around herself, patting herself dry - she was glad she hadn’t yet decided to get dressed. Totally dry as she left the shower she went back to getting ready, throwing the last of the make-up out before sitting down in front of her mirror. She’d pick up her face powder, gently applying it to help dull some of the shine of her natural skin, before applying a fine layer of mascara to her lashes. There was little else she could do right now so turning to her wardrobe, she picked out her outfit. The weather outside wasn’t the warmest so she settled for a long-sleeved sweater dress and some thick, nude coloured tights along with her ankle boots. Grabbing a leather jacket to throw on over the top she was settled she was ready to head out. Checking herself one last time in the mirror she notices the black splodge mark on her hand had returned. How strange. It meant nothing to her though - she was on a mission now - time to find this strange art man that kept spilling ink and… other stuff on her. Maya headed out her apartment and started to walk the route back to work again, this time at a much slower pace. She found herself peering at every man she passed more intently, most were fixed on their location, but the few that seemed to be wandering too she would stop and ask if they had recently found a match.
1:09 PM
They all unfortunately declined and said they had not before going on her way. It must have been an hour or so she spent doing this, even popping into the coffee shop enroute. She was starting to lose hope though - perhaps he wasn’t as keen to find her as she was him after all. Deciding to take a break she circled around to the large city park that most of her route ran alongside. It was a peaceful park, a lot of greenery, tree’s and a large lake towards the centre. It was one of her favourite places to come on the weekends and her days off. Walking along she hugged her arms around herself - despite the cold, it seemed the park was still busy. Happy couples and families took up post of the benches so, seeking somewhere to sit and think, Maya made a beeline to a bench with a man sat alone. Sitting at the other side she looked towards the lake, before looking to the man at her side. He had no jacket on and seemed to be drawing something on his arm. She watched each stroke, the way it lingered before fading away, and she realised this man too had obviously found a connection with someone. She felt doomed to be alone forever. Letting out another, audible sigh she leaned back on the bench before speaking, hoping not to startle him. “That’s sweet, are you drawing something for your girlfriend?”

As he relaxed on the empty bench, he hoped that he had given his soulmate enough of a warning about his plans to shower. He hoped that she was at least inside he would have normally tried to make sure that she would be ready for him to shower but was just so cold. That he didn’t want to wait for too long. He was reminded of that incident now as he sat in the cold his weight resting against the uncomfortable wooden bench and with his coat off the cold hit him much harder, he wasn’t all that far from his apartment at least. He drew the lake as he rested trying to make it as detailed and as recognisable for her as he could he wanted to find her, he wanted her to find him and to him, this felt like a better way than asking every woman he met if they were his soulmate or not. Maybe tomorrow if this didn’t work then he would try drawing the coffee shop while inside of it. So caught up in his drawing he didn’t hear the footsteps of the woman that walked over to him, he didn’t notice her clearing her throat. He didn't notice her until he heard her voice which made him look back at her quickly kind eyes scanning the woman as he saw how pretty she was as he enjoyed the dark black hair that framed her face. There was something familiar about her that he just couldn’t place. After a moment he processed her question and smiled softly. "I don't think I can call her my girlfriend just yet. We only met once in passing and I don't know how to find her, so I've been drawing landscapes and writing places that I've been going to, to try and get her attention." He told the woman softly feeling like he could tell her anything and not feel bad about it for some reason. Maybe it was because she was a total stranger to him. I want to hold onto her and never let her go, to make her feel cherished and loved. I'm going to make her mine." Maya met the mans gaze as he turned to her, giving a small smile as it seemed to take a moment for him to realise she was speaking to him. In that moment, the last few marks he had made to his drawing faded from sight on his arm to appear on whomever he had been paired with by fate. She imagined someone was sitting there, watching the artwork taking place gradually, line by line, and wondered if they would already know what it was he was drawing. As he explained he hadn’t found that person yet she raised a brow - seems he was in a similar predicament to herself after all, but it seemed he had been working hard at least to find her - ideas she hadn’t thought about doing herself. “That’s cute, hopefully she’ll recognise one soon enough then. I uh… haven’t exactly found mine yet. Had the unfortunate situation of getting that… connection thing… in a crowd and I just don’t even know where to begin. It’s quite possible they don’t even want to be found you know… Knowing my luck he already has a girlfriend he’s happy with.” Maya let out a heavy sigh at that comment, looking out at the lake in front of them again as she thought that through. She herself had had a boyfriend who had found his match whilst with her… but he hadn’t hesitated to drop her the second he realised that. It would be just her luck to find someone in a similar situation but who was preferably a decent human being and would at least take some time to separate from their current partner. It was just an exhausting wait for her as she had been alone for so long already. Of course, all that was purely assumptions, an excuse as to why he hadn’t been looking for her in the same place they potentially met that made her feel less… rejected somehow. The guys comment about being doused with cold water made her laugh, shaking her head. “Well I haven’t had that but… theres definitely hurdles to overcome with it. Mine seems a bit messy, he’s constantly spilling ink and stuff, I don’t even think he realises.” she

holds up her hand, showing him the black splodge that had appeared shortly before she had left the house. She had left it there in the hopes that whomever did it might see, might recognise, but no one had commented so far. “Perhaps yours just fancied a swim in the lake. I hear theres some groups that do that throughout the day… you could find out what times they meet up and maybe come down here during one and see if she’s there?” She gave a small smile - if she couldn’t find her soulmate, it warmed her heart somewhat at the idea of finding another lost person find there's. His excitement for meeting her was obvious but she would shake her head, waving her hand to try and signal for him to tone it down a little with a light laugh. She wasn’t sure why, but she felt instantly comfortable in his presence. Maybe it was just being around someone who was in the same situation as her. “You might want to ease off a little bit… I mean, I know she’s your soulmate but you’re still going to be a stranger to her. Perhaps get to know her first before you go grabbing her and dragging her home. At least… so she knows you aren’t a threat. Even serial killers get soulmates so you’ll have to expect her to be a little defensive at first.” She sighed lightly, thinking about what she would do on the first meeting. “I think… when…. If I do find mine, I’m just going to want to grab a coffee first, take that time to get to know each other. Probably sort out some ground rules around showers and… stuff. Figuring out the logistics of it all.”

When she smiled at him he smiled back a her quickly, his smile soft as part of him wished that the marks took longer to fade so that he could see the things that he drew. Well, once he found her he would be able to see them at least. He tilted his head as he heard her words humming softly but he waited for her to finish talking before he spoke. "I can't speak for your soulmate but I decided that until I found my soulmate I wouldn't date other people. it felt wrong or at least pointless knowing that somewhere she was out there." He always just thought that he would find her sooner. "My situation is the same I think it was when I was getting coffee when I met her. Right before I went to sleep. I remember finding out about her while in bed." He admitted to her softly but she hasn't been sending many signs other than the water she doused me in and one red heart that she drew." He found himself smiling a little more widely as he heard her laugh finding that he enjoyed her laugh quite a lot. It was a pretty one. he hummed as she spoke about her soulmate being messy being reminded of the notes that he wrote for his soulmate when she showed him her hand. "I don't think it'd be all that likely to get ink there by accident." He told her softly before he looked at his hands "Ink stains tend to be more common on your fingers and on the side of your hand from smudging." He told her gesturing where he meant by poking parts of his right hand with his left.

"The back of your hand feels very deliberate. It's where I've been writing notes for my soulmate. maybe he's trying to do the same but is struggling to write when the ink disappears." He explained to her softly, he was sure that when he did some more traditional art on paper his soulmate would be getting ink on her hands. He hoped that she wouldn't mind too much. "I'm just hoping that she doesn't make a habit of it. or at least she warns me before hand so that I can have a hot shower while she's swimming." He told her taking note of her idea before he realised something making him shake his head. "I don't think it was the lake. the water smelt too clean and it was soapy. maybe she just likes cold showers." He guessed. When she waved her hand he tilted his head even as he enjoyed her laugh taking her words seriously before he spoke. "You're right, and I would never try and force or pressure her into going home with me or anything and I wouldn't blame her for being cautious." He paused as he considered his words before he continued to speak. "It's selfish of me I think but I've wanted to find her for as long as I can remember. It's clingy but if she wants to be with me then I want to be with her for as long as I can however she'll have me. Even if it's just speaking over the phone or us writing notes to each other on our bodies." "I hope that you find your soulmate soon." He told her honestly and yet the thought of the woman on a date with someone else left him squirming. Why would he feel this way? "I think that I would want to take my soulmate out to dinner if she was hungry. we'd speak about anything she wants. And for showers, I've only had one shower since I met my soulmate but what I tried to do was I wrote that I was gonna shower on the back of my hand before I ran my hand under the water to get her attention and then went into the water. If it takes you a while to find your soulmate maybe you should do it that way." @👯 Bunny Dancing through Life 👯

The guys comment that he had chosen not to date anyone at all until he found his soulmate made Maya's brow raise in surprise. She hadn't done the same, and in fact as a teenager had been entirely convinced she had already found her soulmate in her boyfriend at the time and they were just waiting for the connection to kick in and confirm it. The memory gave her pause, letting out a soft sigh, though for some reason... it wasn't making her feel as sad as it usually did. Perhaps it was because she wasn't alone anymore. Or well, technically she was.. but that was just a temporary situation. He was in the city, somewhere, hopefully as keen to find her as she was him. It was just a matter of time. Her arms wrapped around herself, hugging into her jumper as the man at her side shared his story back to her. Seemed he had been seeking his partner a little longer than her. His comment about the red heart made her freeze a moment, glancing down at her hand where she too had drawn a red heart earlier. Could it... Shaking her head, Maya shook off the faintest hope - the guy had said he had met his soulmate before he went to sleep, but Maya had awoken that morning alone and unmatched. She also had not doused herself in cold water at any point of the day and he had very little reaction to the ink splodge on her hand - as he said, the location would suggest it was deliberate. The idea of that made her think perhaps her match had marked her in that way so she would be easy to notice, a thought that made her bite her lip as she looked up, glancing around the park for any obvious guys checking women's hands... "Maybe... or maybe he was leaving a mark where he'd see it if he's looking for me." She would voice her thoughts, grinning brightly and running her thumb over the ink mark carefully. There was a reason for everything, that's what everyone said... fate always brought you to the person you were intended for one way or another. As the guy mused over the swimming idea she laug

hed a little, shaking her head. "Well, that's just ridiculous, no one likes cold showers! Maybe was some other reason for the soap... I couldn't imagine willingly being doused in cold water. Perhaps she was just trying to get your attention, or make you smell a certain way so she'd notice it?" Curiously, Maya would lean over and make a point of taking a deep inhale through her nose, though there was no notable scent lingering that she could tell so she shrugged away her theory, chuckling lightly. As he spoke of his dreams and plans for when he found his own soulmate, Maya felt her heart ache a brief moment. She could only hope that her own was going to be as excited to see her, but gulping back the worry that he wouldn't be she would speak again. "I think... even through all the excitement... and knowing that fate or destiny has linked you... still got to remember that this person is going to be a stranger to you, and you to them. Perhaps not putting too much pressure on it early will help you both adjust." His comment about the notes however did give her an idea, and she'd bite her lip thoughtfully as she peered out at the lake. She hadn't really done anything yet to try and get his attention... other than her own little heart and no doubt her shower. Perhaps she could try and write to him too, indicate where she was... what her plans were. Her eyes went back to the guy next to her who had been drawing on his arm, and she would nod to the pen in his hand. "Could I... Could I borrow that a second? You gave me an idea."

Was his decision to not date anyone until he found his soulmate really so weird? Maybe it was a weird decision for him to make he always knew that he was on the strange side but people could just be so draining for him he felt like it wasn’t worth dating anyone else when he knew that his soulmate was out there somewhere but maybe he made a mistake maybe he was behind his soulmate who would have had more experience then him. Either way though he couldn’t see himself regretting his choice. Especially not know when he knew that his soulmate was out there somewhere looking for him too after their bond was made and if she wasn’t looking for him then he’d just work harder to find her himself. He had the feeling that she was somewhere in the area with him, and if it came to it, he would just dip his head in paint to get her attention. He just had to find her he didn’t care if it made him seem stupid or weird, he looked back at her and tilted his head as he saw the way that she sighed, and he watched the way that she hugged herself while he spoke. Maybe he should offer her his jacket? It wasn’t like he was using his own right now after all. He wondered how long she was spending looking for her own soulmate right now. He hummed as he heard her words smiling back at her softly as he watched her look at her hands. “I don’t think it’s that either. If it was, he would have done something that would be more distinguishable and more obvious something bigger.” he told her humming as he found himself enjoying her company a lot more then he should have been right now. Maybe he just wanted someone to talk about his soulmate with. Maybe it was just because it had been a pretty long time since he last had a conversation with someone that wasn’t him making an order for food or a work talk that he missed the small talk.

“I mean some people do like cold showers, but I guess that it’s possible that she didn't have a cold shower and instead I just didn’t wake up until the water had become cold.” He was a pretty deep sleeper after all, if he could just fall asleep then it took a lot to wake him up and there was a lot of places that he could fall asleep if he’d just stay still long enough to fall asleep. He liked to say that it was just his body’s way of making up for how often he’d choose to just not go to sleep. “It wasn’t really being wet that woke me up I think it was just the cold.” He was a little surprised by the way she leaned in to smell him, but he chose not to mention it instead relaxing on the park bench as he started to add more detail to the drawing on his arm, or at least he added more detail that would go over onto her arm. It was difficult as he had to rely on his memory of where he drew things as he drew water ripples and added ducks hoping that they would actually be in the water as he hummed hearing her words. “Maybe you’re right but I guess it’s just me being stubborn because when I find her, I want to make sure she knows how much I want to be with her. How much I care about her. I’m not going to try to rush things, I’m not going to invite her to move in with me unless it turns out that she’s living in an unsafe environment or something and I want to get to know her, to know what she likes and dislikes to have a connection with her before we have sex but she’s my soulmate. I’m gonna make her feel loved if I can, I won’t stop looking for her until I find her and once, I do, I’m going to pull her in close and kiss her. Can you really tell me that you wouldn’t want your soulmate to do the same? That you won’t do the same for him?”

Again the words flowed like water as he spoke to her, he felt as if he could say anything to her and b left with no regrets and when he heard her question he smiled back at her softly and held his pen out for her waiting for her to take it before he pulled himself to his feet before without a thought otherwise he picked his jacket up and draped it over her shoulders the move feeling right before he quickly walked over to the edge of the lake “I’ve been thinking maybe if we want to find them we shouldn’t be subtle.” He murmured speaking more to himself then her as he leaned over the edge of the lake as he considered just jumping in before he sighed and shook his head. “I think she’d be so pissed if I got her soaked.” He relented walking back to the bench over to the woman he felt so strangely close to. @👯 Bunny Dancing through Life 👯
