ROLEPLAY HQ - licking-beast

Willow ventured into the graveyard there had been a lot of sighs of strange creatures, and she wanted to help and headed to check, She was still nervous to use her magic agian but wanted to try and at least help.

As Willow walked among the tombstones, a pair of red, feline eyes followed her. A massive creature, the size of a pickup truck, observed her from the darkness.

Willow didn't notice yet and continued walking she had text Buffy to join her and paused as she heard a nose becoming more alert but not saying anything not wanting to draw attention to herself.

The huge creature stepped out of the shadows. It looked like a monstrous, hairless cat, but its most disturbing trait was its tongue. The tongue was enormous-- at least six feet long, hanging out of its mouth like a giant slimy snake.

Willow stepped back, at least it wasn't a vampire, she thought as she backed away not wanting to know what happened if it got to close, she could feel her magic building but was scared to start using it so just tried to back away untill she knew what it was.

The creature approached her, its putrid breath-- it smelled like sewage and rotten meat-- hitting her with the force of a solid object. And then it did something she would never have imagined. It LICKED her.

Before willow had a chance to use her magic the beast licked her and she froze her hands out about to use her magic but paralyzed she remained frozen. She looked at it worried what it might do next trying her best to break free with her magic

The creature slathered its tongue up and down her body, covering her in its disgusting saliva, and then turned to walk off.

Willow froze watching feeling disgusted after it left she mentally relaxed before waiting 10 minutes before running off to find Buffy needing to explain what happened.

Buffy was confused upon hearing what had happened. "You say this. . . monster-cat-thing licked you? And you couldn't move for ten minutes afterwards?"

"it was gross" willow said looking at her knowing they should go back "we should go back and check or I can get to the books I know what it looked like,"

"I'll have to see what Giles knows," Buffy said. "But in the meantime, I need to get something to eat. Mind if I have that blueberry muffin?"

Willow sighed passing it to her going to sit down sighing she wanted to try and focus on creating a shield

Buffy hung up the phone after talking to Giles. “So he says a lot of people have been seeing this creature around here. Apparently they call it the Licking Beast. And I’m pretty sure you just found out why.”

TW: violence, scary imagery, gross stuff

Willow nodded shivering at the thought agian "does it just paralysis should I be worried " She asked wondering if he needed to be worried "what should we do"

"As far as I know, just temporary paralysis," Buffy said.
