Issac was able to slow the train, but the pressure kept mounting. As soon as it was slow enough to do so safely he pulled the whistle, and shouted back. “Get off!!!! NOW!” He went to bail out, but was thrown off instead, out onto the gravel and debris surrounding the track. There as a ringing in his ears, and a strange sensation on his leg. Then things started to go fuzzy around the edges. “David?!?” He managed to call meekly, unable to see through the dust and smoke. He heard screams and tasted the iron. This was his worst nightmare. He hung his head as he crawled to a sitting position, trying to stay upright. (edited)
