His reaction made her flush red, she smiled softly, biting her bottom lip ever so softly. “Sure.” she remarked.
After an hour, she stepped back to look at her progress, realizing that she had made significant changes to the room. Starting from the floor, she had carefully decorated every corner of the room. The soft, warm colors of the tapestries hanging on the walls complemented the greenery of the hanging plants, giving the room a cozy and homely feel. The sun's rays spilled from the window, making the room more lively and colorful. She clasped her hands together, feeling content with her work, and backed out of the room.
As she walked to the kitchen, she couldn't help but think about the upcoming dinner with her new roommate. She wanted to make a good impression, and with her years of experience working in various restaurants, she was confident that she could create something special. She opened the fridge and examined the ingredients, carefully selecting salmon, mixed veggies, and potatoes for the dish.
Her hands moved swiftly as she cut and diced the ingredients, pouring and searing the rest. The music played in the background, and her hips swayed to the beat as she worked meticulously on her dish.
After almost an hour, she finally finished cooking. She looked down at her work, smiling gently, feeling proud of what she had achieved. She placed the plates onto the kitchen table, pouring some wine into a glass to celebrate the occasion. When she finished plating, she walked down the hallway to her roommate's door, knocking softly.
“Hey, dinner is ready. Come out when you’re ready,” she called out before walking back and sitting at the table, admiring her work. She waited patiently, eager to see her roommate's reaction to the meal she had created.
