it was another semester for Victoria. A different schedule and same routine. The same faces and people, dreading they days she woke up. She didn’t want to deal with her classmates , due to majority of them being her bullies taunting her slight Lithuanian accent, or picking on her when she doesn’t know English words. However she’d force herself off her bed, and groaned rubbing her tired face, as she checked the time 6:00am, she’d set her phone down and walked to her Keurig brewing herself coffee, pouring her cream as she walk back sitting on her bed. Due to the severity of her bullying situation, Victoria was living in a single dorm which to her was a blessing. She’d sip her coffee , telling herself quietly that today is a new semester, a new day , and that it will be different, little did she know how right she was. After finishing her coffee Victoria got up putting it down in the little sink provided in her dorm and went to shower.. taking a longer than normal shower (TW: MENTION OF SELF HARM) her right arms was covered in cuts all the way up almost to her elbow, some cuts on her thighs, marked in a way where people couldn’t see her cuts on her thighs *as she finished up showering, she step out her hair dripping as she wrapped the towel around her body and went to get dressed, 6:30. Victoria tossed on a long sleeve crop top and leggings, an outfit to perfectly emphasize her curves and body, she’d toss on a vest as she slung her bag over.. 6:40 It was the start of a new semester, a start of new beginnings but she didn’t look forward to it she never did, as she trudge along in the sunny but cool morning to her first class.. where she walked in.. and sat in the back 6:50am* @Blue Beetle whenever your ready!

Over the pass few weeks the pack has been trying to find the Luna. Alex or Alexander the alpha hasn’t found his mate. He was running out of time to get his mate and keep his health. So the pack decided to have a few of them enroll in the local college. The new semester had just started and it was a prefect time for the pack to get into class without raising suspicions. Alex and his beta tony walked into the same class as Victoria. Their eyes were sliver as they walked and sat down ready to learn. Alex looked around but didnt really pay attendtion to who was in the class. He gets out his laptop and starts to read text on his phone of the other pack members complaining about having to be at school. The pack normally wouldn’t have to be in clothes or bath. They would be able to be their truest selves. But in the human world…they had to be clean. Alex didnt like it either. He hated the feeling of clothes but he did find that the Cotten was the best. Him and his beta talk while others file. One of the classmates move pass Victoria and knocks her books off and kicks her self. They laugh as they walk by and some call her names before finding their seat. This slightly interruption caught Alex’s ears and he turns to look at the female. He didnt know why…but she felt…familiar..he looks at her and see how the other treat her but he doesnt move as the teacher starts the lecture. Alex turns around and tries to figure out how he know that girl.. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

Victoria sighed heavily .. she was way too used to this. Normally she would have said something to them.. but she learned her lesson the last time she spoke up for herself so she kept quiet, grazing towards her classmates who where giggling staring and pointing and whispering After gathering herself and her books Victoria adjusted herself she had slight tears in her eyes just debating on leaving, it was a mistake to even come into class today but she feel his eyes on her.. as she slowly peered back She lock eyes with Alex, watching him study her with complete confusion on why he looked at her like that . Given he too looked a bit familiar but maybe she’s seem him around campus and that’s why. She’d open her mouth about to speak— but immediately closed it thinking it was better to just say nothing, as she looked back ahead of the class

Alex rubs his head and would steal look at her. His sliver eyes watching her and he could see the tears. He didnt know why but…that made him mad. Why did it make him mad. He bites his lip and bounces his leg. Tony looks at him and whispers “what is wrong…” Alex looks at Victoria and says “i dont know…i..i just feel like i know that women…” he says before focusing back at the lecture. He tried to pay attention but that didnt go well. He just keep staring at her. The class finally ends and Alex packs his stuff. He sees a pen that she had missed and took this chance. He bend down infront of her and picked up the pen. “Here…i think you dropped this..” his voice was kind and welcoming. His eyes were scanning her face as if he was taking a photo with his mind. He needed to know where he saw her. He smiles and says “have a great day.” He didnt have anything behind his voice that said other than he was just being kind. Him and tony move out of the lecture hall and they stop to get a snack from the vending machine. The two talk and some girls come up and talk to tony but they soon leave and tony goes with them. Leaving Alex by himself trying to get a drink and food from the vending machine.

She took the pen and grazed up to Alex with a subtle nod. something about his voice made her smile, a genuine smile something she hasn’t done in years it felt like.. as she mumble under her breath “you too” As class ended Victoria packed her stuff up and scanned the lecture hall for Alex but seeing him leave with Tony, curious as to why the man was so kind to her she didn’t even notice he had silver eyes, it never really processed in her brain but she shrugged thinking she would never see him again, afterall campus was huge As she make her way out the lecture hall and to the main halls.. a student would violently shove Victoria out of their way as Victoria stumbled bumping right into Alexander almost knocking him off his feet! She’d collect herself and grumbled lowly as she turned — and low behold it was the man who was kind to her. She felt her face getting red in embarrassment “I’m - Im so sorry” her voice quivering in fear afraid he was going to do something to her… @Blue Beetle

Alex looks over at she falls into him. He caught her and looks down. His eyes look down at her and he smiles “hey it is ok..” he holds her to help her stand. “Are you ok…” he says as his sliver eyes look at her before looking at the person who pushed her. He growls low. He looks back down at her before taking the drink and smiling holding it out to her. “Here…are you ok? You need to sit down or anything..” he says. He can smell the fear. He wanted to make sure that she didnt feel afraid. He rubs her arms softly as he stands there making sure she didnt feel afraid. “I wont hurt you…i might hurt them..but not you..” @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

she stare at his eyes for a good minute confused, why did he have silver eyes— and it then clicked she remembered seeing him out in the forest one night— hearing the whimpering pains when he was trapped in the hunters trap. But she kept quiet, maybe mistaking him for another. She’d deny the drink and spoke “y-yeah I’m fine..” *her eyes gazes down to his hand that was gently rubbing her arm. She felt this new sensation of warm.. but being afraid she’d awkwardly shift her arm back “Please don’t hurt them..” *she’d gaze back to the students laughing having a ball “I think it will make things worse..” she’d look down “thanks for catching me— I’m sorry you were involved” her voice felt, calm as she was slowly warming up— quicker than normal just hearing how gently he spoke to her made her feel more relaxed which is what she needed “I’m Victoria Delgado” her accent kicked in more when she said her name primarily used to hearing her name pronounced a certain way, she finally gain the courage and looked up at his silver eyes… @Blue Beetle

His eyes watches hers and it clicks. She saved him from the trap…he was in his wolf form..he smiles and says “i am Alaxander Dune…nice to meet you Victoria..” her name felt right. His heart tightens and he tries to shake it off. “Where you headed? Do you want to walk together?” He asks as he grabs his food and bag before looking back at her. He would hurt them…but not while she was here. No they would have their time. “You always sit in the back…i..i am sorry i never talked to you before…” he says softly kinda sad. He wished he was there. Knew her more. But he would make up for that time gone. “I can walk with you if you want…i have history next so ..” he smiles and looks at her. Victoria watched his eyes meet hers, she was still a bit skeptical if it was the werewolf she did save “It’s nice to meet you Alex” she softly spoke holding a hand out as he shook it, she’d lower her hands back into her pocket when he offered to walk her, her heart skipped a bit and she was thrown off guard shaking her head slightly , did she hear him correctly— clearly she did as she began walking and he was walking next to her, she felt safe..r as the students who normally would bully her backed away not daring to meet Alex’s gaze. She watched the students past going about their day and for once not stopping to pick on Victoria she felt, relief with sadness seeing how she needed someone to be there to protect her.. She’d quietly sigh and looked back up to Alex with a forced grin on her face. “so history huh? I have 2 hour break, but Uhm- I can walk you to your class..” *she’d look back ahead now, she didn’t want to depart ways with him so she was hoping he’d say no .. and that he’d skip class, she was intrigued by him, why was he playing nice, Vic’s skeptical grew but she pushed it aside @Blue Beetle

Alexander look her as they walk. He looks at her face and rubs her back to hopefully help her feel better. He didnt want to make her feel uncomfortable. “Yeah i have history…but i am a good student and know a lot of about it…i may skip…if yoy wanted to hang out…and dont worry i have a friend in that class that records the lecture so i can get that and be all good.” He smiles as he stops walking and turns to her. “Only if you dont have anything to do…maybe we can get food..or…never mind you probably don’t want to hang with me..” Alex looks down and rubs his neck. He was being stupid. He was pushing hard on her. She didnt even know him. He looks at her and smiles shyly. “Sorry if i am pushing…i..” he couldn’t really say ‘ hey you might be my mate because i am a werewolf so dont freak out but i will make sure no one will hurt you.’ As he was thinking a group of student move to them and one grabs Victoria and throws her down before looking at Alex. “Dont try to stop us.” The leader says before they turn back to the women on the ground. Alex growls as one of them starts to get ready to kick Victoria. Alex grabs two men and pull them back and onto the ground. He start to punch and the two try to stop the bigger male. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

As they were walking, she couldn’t help but smile, but when she felt his hand rubbing up and down on her back it sent chills down her spine. The warmth of his big hands on her back, it made her feel safe and calm- a tint of red flushing on her face as she looked away a bit embarrassed from blushing, and when he said he’d skip class, her heart skipped a beat or two as she turned back her gentle green eyes looking at him with a faint smile “I’d love to hang with you Alex honestly. Your not pushing I pr—“ her words cut short when the Jock of the group throws Victoria down like a rag dog, she’d fall grunting in pain obviously caught off guard by this as she’d whimper slightly trying to back away only to get stopped by another man who made sure she stayed on the floor. Hearing his gruff voice of “don’t try to stop us” Victoria was sure she was dead men, as she whimper loudly holding her hand above her face trying to speak, only to see Alex grab the two men and yank them back into the ground going ham on them . Victoria stumbled up as a crowed formed around the 4 with students recording and chanting fight fight fight obviously Alex over powered the two, a human, nay 2 humans vs 1 humans they were Basically a meal. As Victoria would rush over to Alex who beat these men to a pulp and tried to yank him back, him being heavier ofc was a challenge only for a voice to speak .. “ENOUGH” *as a person waved through a crowd… it was the school’s president assisted by a dean, and 2 officers, as the officers would grab Alex and handcuff his hands behind him. EMT coming to grab the students off the ground and take them off as the president and dean would approach both Victoria and Alex “*Andwhat is the meaning of this” the president sighed looking at the two as Victoria quickly chimed in

6:12 AM

“President Andrews, Alex was protecting me from those group of men— the one who usually bully me and you don’t do anything about” she’d snap, the crowd whispering , as the president would have a sneer on his face lookin to the dean “Uncuff him at once!” she demand as the officers looked to each other then the president and dean, they nodded uncuffing Alex “He didn’t do anything wrong but standup for me, unlike my own president and dean who let this bulling gone too far!” the students would start to get angry at the dean and president in disbelief they allowed this. As the cops would let Alex off in a warning. The president and dean would look to the two “My office Monday at 3:15 both of you” as they and the crowd dispersed leaving Alex alone with Victoria Victoria would go on her tippy toes and kiss his cheek “Thank you, for protecting me..” @Blue Beetle

Alex slightly fight at the cuffs and looks at Victoria. He smiles as she stands up for herself. She was gorgeous when she did this. As the cops un cuff him he rubs his writs and growls at the president. Once the group has let him he takes Victoria by her hand and pulls her. “Come on..” he pulls her along and bites his lip. His hands hurt. They were bleeding. She could see that. His knuckles were bleeding and busied. “Can we go to your room..i dont..i dont live on campus…i jsut…dont want to walk all the way there…” he says softly as he looks at her. They were alway from the lawn and he was jsut holding her hand. “Sorry…also…i..i lost it..” he lets go of her hand and steps back. He didnt want to hurt her..he hides his hands and looks away. “If you dont want to hang out with me…i understand….” He bites his lip and just tries to not look scary…he was scary… @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

Victoria was startled when Alex grabbed her hands and pulled her along with him, not really having a choice but to go with him, she didn’t mind it at all. She’d watch him bite his lips a slight blush formed as she looked down to his hands noticing they were bruised and bleeding “Y-yeah we can go back to my dorm it’s only a 5 minute walk” she’d say as he moved his hands away from hers, she’d gently grabbed his hand back, carefully stroking her thumb along his hands as she walked with him back to her dorm, her eyes fixated on his hands every now and then trying to carefully clean any blood off it. After a 5 minute walked they would walk to her dorm where she’d swipe her card letting him in, and opened the door, her room a single was quite small but homey as she guide him in, closinf the door behind, she’d sit him on her bed as she rush to grab a first aid kit. Once doing so she’d open it up, and take out hydrogen peroxide and a cotton ball dabbling it onto it as she clean the wounds throughly it would burn as she heard him growl in pain, it startled her a bit but she continued being as quick and. Precise as she could and then finally wrapped it up. “There.. thanks again Alex.. really.. this doesn’t change my mind on wanting to hang with you” *she say gently holding his hands looking up at him

Alex just walks behind her. His head was hanging low as they walked. His eyes were watching her however. He wouldn’t take his eyes off her. His eyes were dark and almost animal like. This was dangerous. He knew he had to get away. But…he couldn’t be away from her. What if someone hurt her. What if someone killed her. No no no no NO. He growls softly as he sits down on her bed. He watches her before growling at the pain. He sees he scared her. He whines softly before watching her. As she finishes cleaning him up he sighs. “Thank you…” he looks at her and quickly looks away. His eyes were dark. His hand was shaking in hers. “I-i should go…you must want to rest..” he bites his cheek as he didnt want to leave. He wanted to curl up and hold her. He was torn. He goes to stand up just ends up pulling her closer to him. “I…i am sorry..” @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

Victoria looked at his eyes, noticing they went dark animalistic like she felt a bit scared, unsure what to do in this situation but she remained calm. As he winced and whimpered in pain Victorian would quietly say “I’m sorry I know it hurts… I’m sorry shh almost done” *she gently stoke his hair as she finished and stepped back going to throw away the stuff and put the medical kit away. As she walked back she again notice his eyes .. dark. His hands shaking? She wanted to question it but was abruptly caught off guard when he pulled her closer to her. She’d whimper quietly a bit afraid. It was his eyes that made her scared but she’d brush those thoughts away.. he wouldn’t do anything to her… right? “H-hey Alex calm down… are you okay your eyes, there dark” she’d softly coo, cupping his face and titling it down in the slighest so he was forced to look at her as she looked at those dark, hungry eyes of his @Blue Beetle

Alex looks at her and bites his lip. “I should…” he syas before he shuts his mouth and leans into her hand “thank you for healing me…and freeing me..” he says softly. His eyes were becoming sliver again. “Are you hurt…” he says softly as he cups her hands and rubs them with his thumbs. “Did they hurt you…are you sore or bleeding..” he asks softly as he holds her. His eyes were searching her eyes for if she was hurt or not. He pulls her hands off his face and looks at her hands. “So soft..” he says as he holds them. He pulls her to sit down on the bed. He looks her over and makes sure that she was ok. “Anything hurting? Do i need to go back and beat them more..” he growls softly as his eyes turn darker again. He takes a breathe before sitting next to her. “I am sorry…i can leave if you want…I should leave…” he says but he doesnt move. He stays as still as possible. He didnt want to scare her. “Victoria…please dont be scare of me…i..i didnt mean to lose my temper..they..they just…could have hurt you..” @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

Victoria blushed heavily when he gently caressed her face with his thumb, it made her stomach churn with excitement, she didn’t want him to stop as she looked at him with kind and yet worried eyed when he asked if she was okay, she let a small chuckle responding “I am fine Alex, honestly” she place her hand ontop of his briefly before he pulled his hands off her face and help them, as she too held his hand, interlockering fingers “I’m not sore… I’m not bleeding. I promise I’m okay” As she suddenly was forced to sit on the bed she let a playful laugh out as his eyes scanned her. His look.. Victoria never felt so aroused in her life by someone’s look as she tuck her hair behind her hair as his eyes scanned her body, but noticing his eyes turned darker she rub her fingers through his hair “Alex.. please don’t go back.. your already in trouble and I don’t want you to be expelled okay? I’m sure they will handle the situation” as she cup his face “So please don’t leave me I want you stay… I’m not afraid.. I promise..” her voice sincere she didn’t want him to go but when his eyes turned dark.. it did scare her slightly as she just asked “But when you eyes turn dark.. what does that mean?” @Blue Beetle

Alex looks at victoria and bites his lip. “I…do you believe in…supernatural beings..” he says softly he looks at her hands and leans into her touch. His eyes close as he calms down and relaxes in her hands. “Just…i…do you remember a few months ago you saved a wolf in a trap…it was larger and had sliver eyes…” he looks at her and sits down next to her. “I..i was that wolf…i am a werewolf…my eyes when they are dark i…i am mad or angry..not at you…at those assholes…” he growls sfotly but takes a deep breath. He holds her hand and looks at her “i…i understand if you are scared…and..i understand if you..if you dont want to see me again because i am a monster…” he looks down and looks like a sad puppy. His eyes were looking down at their hands. He didnt want to leave. He didnt want to stop hanging out with her….he knew she was his mate but he coudlnt tell her that now..he just wanted to be here…here with her..he sighs and bites his lip and looks at her. He was scared to see her eyes. To see if there is a hint of fear. If he did see this he would leave…and never see her again if he has too.. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

Victorias eyes widen slightly. That’s where she knew him from.. she knew that those eyes looked familiar as she’d ease her expression moving one hand away as she gently placed on his cheek stroking his cheek with her thumb as she giggle slightly “I knew those eyes looked familiar” she chuckled “and why would I be of you, if I was scared of werewolves I wouldn’t have helped a werewolf out now would I?” shed softly pitch his cheek l before going back to stroking his cheek with her thumb “I promise you I’m not scared of you, your not a monster okay Alex? “ she say her voice a bit stern wanting to make sure he understood that he wasn’t a monster, as she place a gentle kiss on his forehead and pulled back moving her hand to his hair, gently running her fingers through it “Understand…?” She look at him with kind eyes “I’m not going anywhere… I’m still here I promise..” @Blue Beetle

Alex looks at her and nods. He leans closer to her and says “promise you arent…you arent scared?” He had to make sure. He loved her touch. His eyes close and he seemed to be so happy. His breathing calmed and he just sits there. He would open his eyes and says “do..do you want to do homework…i know we have the discussion post for our class..I have history i can do..” he says sfotly as he leans into her hands. “Your hands are soft..” he mumbles. “Or…if you dont want to do homework..you can ask me questions about…well..me..” he blushes softly and tries to calm himself. Being around her this close was hard to keep control on himself. She smelled really good. He just wanted to curl up and sleep with her in his arms. He shakes his head softly before taking her hands and smiling. “I never thought you would be at this school…i never forgot about you…just didnt know how to say thank you…but now i can…let me say thank you? Maybe we can get dinner and i will pay..” he smiles and blushes softly. He would hold her hands and even bring on of them to his lips and kisses the hands. “So soft..” @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

Vic let him hands grab hers, the size difference was huge as she chuckled when he said her hands were soft “I promise I’m not scared okay? I never was and I never will be” As she’d let his hands caress hers she didn’t mind if he felt safe she too felt safe “It’s Friday night… let’s not do homework hm? We can go out to dinner get to know one another better no..?” she’d say a way of hinting a date as she’d move her hands away slightly sitting on the bed next to him as she’d once more grabbed his hands looking to him “I’m honored you still think of me.. but you don’t have to thank me for what I did I promise …I don’t want this to be a make up dinner Alex… I rather have it be a date” she’d say as he kissed her hands she couldn’t help but blush watching him “Okay..?” @Blue Beetle

Alexander looks at her and smiles. “Ok..then lets go get food..waht do you want?” He says as he looks at her hand. Her hands were soft. He smiles and sits next to her and waits. “There is a good pizza place..but i am good with anything you wnat..” he says softly. He liked that she wanted to go on a date with him. He would make sure that no one would hurt her. That no one would even look at her the wrong way. Alex would pull out his phone and hands it to her. “Put your number in..we cna study together and if you need someone to walk with you i can do that or get one of my friends to. And dont worry. They arent the mean assholes. If they are i will take care of them.” He growls softly as his eyes darken. “No one will treat you bad ok? Not while i can help..” he says softly as he looks at her and tries to make sure that she knew she was ok. That he would make sure no one hurts her anymore.

Victoria shrugged at first as he suggested places she’d chuckle. He was adorable when he was suggesting places “I’m fine with anything Alex.. honestly. Im still exploring the town so whatever you say is good I’ll take your word for it” she’d softly say, a tint of red covering her face the thought of going out in public with him made her happy like she was on cloud 9 as he pulled out his phone she’d grab it and typed in her number putting a heart next to her name as she handed it back to him “Sounds lovely…” she’d chuckle softly at him growling “I’m sure you will but I doubt they will be..” she say gently placing a hand on his lap, looking to him “and thank you.. honestly Alex, I never had someone be this protective of me.. it’s actually kind of nice.. I-I owe you big time, really” she’d then cup his face “I’m really lucky to have bumped into you again Alex..” she’d place a kiss on his cheek as she lowered her hand and got up off the bed, standing infront of him with a quirky smile “Now let’s head to town.. I am getting a bit hangry.. and I’m not fun when I am hangry” shed chuckle to lighten the mood up @Blue Beetle

Alex looks at her and smiles. He nods and leans into her hands. He chuckles before standing and grabs his bag. “Lets go..” he says softly as he takes her hand when she was ready and lead her down to the front door and walks out. He watches the area to make sure those assholes dont come near them. The college was in a nice town that was very connected. The students could walk into the town and then be able to get food or just be able to walk into town. As the sun was going down the town put out lights and candles to light the streets. It made the town feel cozy and light. Alex walks down the street and smiles “have you seen the town light this?” He asks her as they walk. His eyes were locked on her. His eyes were widen and fully happy.

she’d let a playful giggle slip her mouth as he grabbed her hand and guided her outside now, she made sure to interlock fingers with him so the two were holding hands, making a bold move to show she was interested in him as she’d swing their hands lightly back and forth as they walked down campus she saw his eyes fixate slightly on the area they were in, locked and loaded to make sure nobody bothered them as she’d smile slightly. She loved seeing his protective side it made her feel safe but also— aroused? A new feeling she never felt and definitely something she wanted to explore further but she’d shake her head of those dirty thoughts as she looked towards the sunset with an awe and then looked towards Alex as he spoke “Not like this.. it’s been awhile since I’ve walked outside during these hours— it’s beautiful I missed it” she’d sigh with a smile, never daring to go out alone at night “the way the sky beautiful simmers down and just the way the town glows it is truly a sight” she spoke as the two would approach the town, many people around as it was Thirsty Thursday so many bar crawls happening and just music in the distance as they finally reach a quaint little pizzeria. It looked family owed and that antique rustic look as the two entered being greeted, as there was a 15 min wait, they were handed a menu as Victoria pivoted to lean slightly on Alex her head on his chest as she held the menu for the two to look at @Blue Beetle (eee sorry for the long wait)

Alexander looks at her and smiles softly. He holds her as they look at the menu. His hands rubs down her legs as they sat there. “You want to share a pizza? I like meat lovers…we can get a half half one..” he syas softly as he leans in. He wanted to kiss her. But he held back. He just held her and looked at the menu. “Or do you want pasta? They have good options for both..” he smiles. His eyes were golden as he looks at her. He wanted to just take her there but he couldn’t. He didnt want to scare her. He is a monster holding a princess. A wolf holding a rabbit. His face changes as he pulls away softly. His eyes were turned sad as he thought about that. How he could hurt her. He could snap and…he closes his eyes as the waiter comes. He looks at her and would order whatever she wanted and then a coke for him and whatever drink she wanted. He would just sit there and get lost in his head. He was lost as he sat there. His hand move into fist and his knuckles turn white as he gets deeper and deeper into his thoughts. He shouldnt be close to her. He would growl at himself softly as him and his wolf battled each other about what they should do

Alexander looks at her. His eyes soften and he shakes his head. “Nothing…i-i am jsut being self conscious…sorry..” he says softly. He takes her hand and leans into him. “You are adorable…” he chuckles softly and looks at her. “So tell me about yourself..what are you studying… what are your favorite things that you like to do? I want to know about you..” He would listen to her fully. His eyes were locked onto her and nothing else. He would keep her hand in his. His thumb would rub softly onto her hand. Alex looks at her and smiles as she moves closer. He would talk about his father’s business and say “it is a fmaily thing..then of course I would be taking over the pack and all of that as well..” he wraps a arm around as he eats another slice of pizza. He stops in his track at the blood moon. “What…” he says softly. That wasn’t right..it couldn’t..no no no no. Alex pulls out his phone and looks. Text after text about it was sent but he didn’t pay attention. His breathing changed as he realized he didn’t have time to get back to the pack house. Vic started to notice the signs, the heavy breathing, the panting, his eyes she started to grow worrysome as she shifted away from him ready to make her escape, as she listened to him "I- I can do that..." shed gulp, what the fuck was she thinking? was she even capable of doing that! she didnt even know why she agreed knowing in his wolf form he could attack her and gobble her up like nothing.. but at the same time she never feared werewolves.. as much as he grabbed her hand shed softly hold it looking into his eyes "we dont have to go to the lake!" shed exclaim as he gently pulled her up from her seat and guided her out the pizza place, the sky was turning dark as in the distance was the blood moon slowly starting to rise, Victoria would guide him away from the pizza place and to a nearby isolated area "Alex.. your panting.. are you okay?! Victoria would panic unsure what to even say or pick. What was it was the wrong choice! But it seemed like her opinion didn’t matter as time ran out. As he shifted into his werewolf form slowly Victorias breath drew heavy backing away almost falling back but catching herself as she cringe hearing his bones snap. How was he not in agony those snaps sounded sharp as what stood before her wasn’t Alex anymore but a wolf. Victoria stared at the creature looking at all his features.. his fur, it matched his hair but his eyes didn’t.. Victoria felt pale filled with fear for some reason— why was she so afraid? She helped this very wolf but that was when he was in his weak state… not able to attack. But this.. this was different the wolf infront of her was stronger and definitely could rip her in half in less than seconds and that brought fear to Victoria. As the beast approached her slowly Victoria stood frozen like a statue only her eyes moving following the wolfs every movement.. but Victoria twitched forcing herself to move back. And back. Just a bit further.. Before she ran off. Home, home was the only thing that came across her mind. Alex said to go home.. it finally registered after alll that time. Despite knowing that was wolf was the man she started to like , Alex , but she wasn’t used to his wolf form.. she didn’t know what he could be thinking in his feral state and she didn’t want to waste a time thinking about it! @Blue Beetle

The wolf tilts his head and sniffs. He takes step and watches her bolt. His tag wags and he growls. The beast takes off. His golden eyes locked on the women. He easily catches up as his legs stretched out infront of him. He growls from behind her and tackles her. Victoria would wince at his barking, obviously louder than an average dog as Vic would rub/pat his stomach watching him be all playful he was clearly much different than his human form.. his human form he displayed toughness, protectiveness but in his werewolf form he was just a giant puppy clearly a big difference as she’d snicker wiping his salvia off her cheek “Okay okay!!” she’d giggle as Vic was hugging his head and kissed his snoot.suddenly the two began to hear nearby growling as Vic would look up and see 2 other werewolves closing in, eyes filled with hunger as they were panting ready to strike. Their eyes locked into Vic and then looking towards Alex, one wolf moved their head in a ‘move out of way’ motion @Blue Beetle

Alex growls at the wolves. He barks at the two. His hair stands on edge as he growls. He told them she was his and he would fight them. He growls as one of them lundges. He bites the wolf neck and throws him down to the groun. He steps on the neck as he locks eyes with the other. Alex was a big wolf..but compared to these wolves he was huge. He was twice their side. Alex growls and moves back towards Vic. He lets go of the wolfs neck before turning and grabbing Vic. He tosses her up onto his back before barking. He would take off and looks behind him. The two weren’t following. Alex runs till they are close to the college. Alex lowers himself down so Vic can get off. He licks her face and whimpers softly. Victorias eyes widen in fear as the wolves began to charge, only for Alex to get all defensive and lunge to attack them. Victoria watched frozen in absolute fear witnessing the gruesomeness of this. Alex was twice their size of the two wolves.. and it was a bit terrifying too see that but more to just watch him fight those other wolves , biting them on the neck and tossing them like rag dolls. She’d watch as Alex turned back to her as she’d frantically wave her hands mumbling “don’t eat me don’t eat me” As she’d shield herself with her hands as Alex made his way towards her and grabbed her shed yelp as she was tossed on the wolves back and was being brought back to safety. She’d hug the wolfs back as tight as she possibly could her eyes shut the entire time Upon reaching campus and seeing him slow down? Vic opened her eyes and slowly let her grip go as Alex lowered himself, she got off and immediately stumbled back feeling his heavy tongue in her face and then a soft nudge as she’d turn seeing her dorms “N-no not without you..” she say as she’d look at his body wondering if there was any injuries on him “I-is there anyway you can turn back into a human! Please” she’d beg as she’d grab his snout resting her forehead on it “please. If your hurt I can tend to your wounds better in human form. And if your not we can share the bed.. and just sleep peacefully. I wouldn’t have to worry about you in the night and if there would be any other wolves to attack..” her voice trails off @Blue Beetle

Alex whimpers softly and licked her face. He sits and whines softly. He couldn’t change back. Blood moons were some of the few times he didn’t have control over his change. He whimpers softly and licks her face. He pants softly and shakes his head. His eyes were concerned. He didn’t want her to worry. He wanted to stay with her. He looks around and whimpers softly. He would stand up and lower his back to her. His eyes widen to show her to get on. Once she want on his back he walks around the campus. He moves back into the woods looking around. He would walk calmly with her in the forest. Out of nowhere it seemed there was a old cabin. It was alittle run down but still safe. He pushes open the door and walks in. In the cabin was a large bed. It had a fire place with firewood next to it. There was a bathroom and the cabin had full heating and electricity. He lowers her off him. He shakes and jumps onto the bed and lays down. They were safe here. He would make sure of it

Victoria scanned the cabin as he’d jump on the bed, walking around and checking it out making sure the doors was locked and the windows “How did you even find this place..” she spoke as she walked back in the room.. and paused realizing he couldn’t talk in his werewolf form “right… I’ll ask you when it’s morning” she say quietly to herself, as she’d find a small space for herself in the bed and curled up she soon fell asleep nuzzled against his fur using it as a blanket/heat as the night passes and dawn rolls around Victoria would be sound sleep the moment her head hit that pillow, just comfortable… relaxed and safe as hours passed it was around 10am.. the cabin nicely lit up from the sun and Victoria opened her eyes blinking and yawning as she’d rolled over.. @Blue Beetle

Alex was still asleep. He had shifted back from his wolf form. His breathing was calm. He had a few bite marks on his body from the fight but overall he didnt have much hurt to him. He pulls her closer and hums softly as he sleeps. He was nude but he had pulled some shorts on so she didnt feel uncomfortable. He doesnt move when she look at him. Without his clothes on, she could see all of his tattoos..and scars. His body as covered in mostly tattoos but there were a few long old scars that he had tried to cover. The tattoos were a mix of wolf symbols and modern ones. His biggest tattoo was a form that looks like his wolf. It was a connection to his wolf that he got when he first turned. He hums and yawns. He looks at her opening his eyes softly “good morning..” his voice was lower as he pulls her close and holds her. “What…waht happened…why..how..” he had so many questions…

Vic analyzed the tattoos and scars all over his body, curious to what they meant to him, obviously the wolf symbol was given. Her eyes traced his scars the most recent ones to be exact as she was concerned for him, despite it not looking terrible. Her face flushed red as he pulled her closer to him, feeling the warmth of his body heat as shed rest her head on his bare chest. "Morning.." *shed softly say as shed lift her head up slightly locking eyes with his "You got attacked last night.. trying to protect me" shed softly say, bothered "I-I wanted to help but I didnt know how, luckily they didnt get you bad. You took me upon your back and we went back to campus, you told me to go but I couldnt leave you. Then you led me here, to this small and beautiful cabin.." Shed say as shed push her back slightly, running her fingers though his lucious, silky hair "Let me grab a first aid kit for you Alex.. its the least I can do" Vic said as she got up, she was in her leggings and bra as she took off her top during the night since she was hot, she would be wearing a red, lace bralette with a sheer backing to it shed search around the room, eventually finding the first aid kit as she came back, sitting on the bed and opening the kit up as she looked to Alex, their faces inches away from one another as she felt her face get red once more "Does it hurt..." she spoke softly looking at the bite marks @Blue Beetle

He looks at her and his eyes were cloudy with concern. He lets her go as he sits up and rubs his neck. He sighs softly. When she comes back he looks at her and shakes his head “no…I promise it doesn’t..are…are you ok? Did you get hurt?” He looks at her. His eyes were looking over and making sure that she was ok. “I..I am sorry..I..I put you in danger. I..heh I really am I a monster..” he holds his head in his hands. “I..I could have killed yoy…” he says softly. His voice covered and thick with guilt. He looks at her and kisses her forehead. “Shhh…i wont let them do that. I will be there…always. And if i am not there someone from my pack will…you wont have to worry about them. You are smart…i want you to go to school…i will go to school as well..we can eat lunch…hang out..do homework…you wont be touched by them..plus i have to go to the school president on Monday…” he says sfotly as he smiles. He kisses her forehead and says “what do you want to do? We can go back and get you cleaned up and everything or we can stay here…but i dont have running water here..” he says softly. He chuckles and holds her. He doesnt move or anything. He just holds her and plays with her hair. “I like your hair..: he mumbles softly as he plays with it and starts to braid the hair. Vic smiled feeling his lips peck her forehead as she nodded feeling a bit safer knowing that his pack would protect her too, though she didn’t like the idea since she wanted him to be next to her she understood that he had things to do “Okay… fine…” she’d say looking up at him as she’d intertwine her fingers with his “w-we can go back to my dorm…” shed then say whispering as he’d pull her close to hold her Victoria would nuzzle her head in his chest closing her eyes as he’d play with her hair, enjoying every moment of it as he’d then braid it.. a quiet “thank you” came from her mouth as he said he liked her hair* Victoria would look up to him as he suggested taking her back to his home, as she nodded actually agreeing. It would’ve been 10x better than living in a dorm where she wasn’t welcomed “n-no I’d love to see your home today even!” she’d sit up looking at him “Er no questions, but let’s go back to my dorm.. I can pack some clothes and maybe it leave it at your home?” she’d say as she’d get up helping Alex up too “I’ll shower at my dorm okay?” as they would begin to leave the cabin it would be a good walk from the cabin to her dorm, Vic would be holding his hand as they talked about classes and exams.. as they reached her dorm she’d swipe her card letting them in as they walked to the 2nd floor and then down the hall to her room where she again swiped her card to let them in “Here wait here” she say as she’d go to her bathroom and ran a shower. After 20 mins she’d walked out smelling like a tropical paradise, strawberry, pineapple.. she’d be wearing ripped jeans and a baggy long sleeve tee as her hair dripped “Here let me pack too sorry—“ as she’d grab her duffel bag and tossed in stuff she’d need Like underwear, bras, pjs, clothes.. that took only about 10 minutes as she’d zip her bag and look at him slinging it over herself “ready” @Blue Beetle

He smiles and holds her. He takes her hand as she nuzzles into her. She brushes her hair. “Ok. Lets go.” He kisses her forehead before standing and letting her lead. He nods to her question “yeah that will be fine.” He was excited to show her his home. He walks with her and just watches the area around them. They walked to the dorm and he would follow her into the building and into her room. He nods and smiles before sitting on the bed to wait. He plays with his hands as he waits. He could smell everything. It was so sweet..and nice. He looks at her as she comes out. He smiles and chuckles. “You are ok. Take your time..” he says as he watches her. He stood before pulling her into a hug. He takes in her scent as he growls softly. “Ready.” He says. He and her would start to walk into the woods. They would pass the cabin and walk more and more into the woods. His eyes were scanning the woods as they walk. “When we get there my family and pack will be…excited..they might be too much..so if that is too much just take my hand and squeeze it. I will take you to my room.” He says before he moves to a brush and parts it. Pass the bushes was a large house. There were some smaller houses around the larger on. The large house had a large yard that was in the front. People were sitting on the yard, people were training and playing. Children running around. Alex sighs and takes a deep breath before he steps though and leads her into his home

Victoria would take the smell of the wood air once more smiling in joy as she’d hold his hand, looking up to him as he spoke about his family and how they would be excited.. she nodded chuckling as she’d respond “will do…” she’d say as she’d step through the bush as he parts it her eyes widen in awe looking at the huge house and the smaller house around it, the children roaming and laughing having fun, the adults sitting on the porch enjoying themselves and chatting with one another, she’d remove her hand from his as they would begin to walk further into the area. The children wound stop playing as they would point to Victoria and shout “she has no ears!’” “Or a tail!” another shout in awe as the adults would look towards Alex, and got up, seeing the new comer, their eyes narrowed “Victoria would gulp.. looking as the other werewolves would look at them.. she clearly was the black sheep here as she looked to Alex unsure what to do..* @Blue Beetle

Alex looks at the children and rolls his eyes “dont worry.” He says to her before he walks foward and smiles “i am going to get you!” He starts to run after the children and they run screaming and giggling. He grabs two of them and picks them up over his shoulders “i got you! And i am going to eat you aaaa” he tickles the children and they laugh. The adults would move down to the yard before Alex set the kids down and let them run off. One of the adults was a women. “Hello Alex. Good to see you.” She was older as she smiles at them. “Who is this?” Alex looks at Vic and smiles “this is Victoria..she is…my mate.” The women’s eyes widen and she smiles. “OH! It is so good to meet you!” The women quickly hugs Vic and smiles. The man was the other adult. He smiles but stays quiet. “Vic this is my aunt and uncle anna Anna and Jacob.” Alex says as anna smiles “it is so lovely to meet you! Dont worry about the kids they are crazy please come on in!” Alex took Vic’s hand and smiles leading her to the house. They climb the steps before going inside. It was a large mansion. It had a open floor plan for the first floor. The kitchen was huge, there was a large living room with a large couch that had a lot of blankets. “Welcome to my home vic..”

Victoria giggled to herself watching Alex playfully taunt the kids.. he was so cute, and clearly good with kids as they all happily screamed running away expecting him to chase them. As he’d grab two and began to tickle them, Victoria would watch with a faint smile as he’d set them down and head back towards her, as two walked towards the adults now. Vic waved as he introduced her, as she spoke “it’s -it’s a pleasure to meet you..” she say her face flushing red.. wait.. Mate.. it finally hit her as she looked a bit startled and towards him and back to her with an awkward chuckle as the other woman hugged her, hesistant, Victoria would awkwardly hug her back.. as she’d break the hug and look towards his aunt and uncle “You as well..” she quietly spoke, as she’d hold onto Alexs hand tightly as they walked in, she felt so scared.. her body slightly shaking her mind racing she felt like they could smell her fears. Who was she kidding they probably could! There werewolves after all they have amazing smell! as they stepped in her eyes wandered looking at the mansion and it’s huge interior “wow… it’s lovely” she whisper loud enough for Alex to only hear her “very beautiful… thank you for letting me in..” she say as she’d looked back to Anna and Jacob with a grin “it’s beautiful” she finally spoke up so they would hear her “I’m grateful to be here… thank you again for welcoming me into your .. pack..” @Blue Beetle

alex looks at her and smiles. he knew she was nervose. he takes her hand as they walk into the home. he leans down to her and says "breath. you are ok. just breath." he says as he stands back straight and holds her close to calm her. Anna smiles and says "of cource! you are Alex's mate! you are always welcome!" alex looks at vic. and says "i will give her a tour. we will meet back up with you later." anna nods and jacob stops anna from speaking or stopping them. alex leads vic up the stairs. it was a large house with multiple floors. he leads her to the 3rd floor and then down the hall. "these are for all of my close family. my room is up here as well." he opens a door that is at the end of the hall way. his room was a large room but it was also very cozy. he had a large bed that was messy with blankets. the walls had posters from music, to planets, and all kinds of things. he closes the door and looks at her "are you ok? my family can be...alot...you are shaking.." he holds her close and sets down her bag. Breath. You are okay. Just breath He said as Vic would fixate on those words echoing in her head as she’d take a deep breath in, and slowly exhaled doing that a couple times as she slowly stared to calm down.. snapping out of it as she heard Anna speak. Victoria gave a wearily smile, as she nodded.. “y-yes thank you…” she said as she’d look up at him as he’d offer a tour. Thank god as they headed up the stairs she’d be out of breath, damn just walking up 3 flights of stairs tired the poor human out! As he’d lead her down to the end of the hall, as he’d open the door she’d step in and looked around and then to him, shaking her head no, tearing up immediately as he pulled her into a hug, hugging him tightly as she did her breathing “I-they -i -I mean they just have me so nervous.. you didn’t make me uncomfortable no..” shed sniffle looking up to him “I-don’t want to make the wrong move.. or say the wrong thing.. or I don’t know.. I-i am the only human here… what if someone tries to attack me?! Or-or I-i don’t know I’m sorry! I just never been around this many werewolves…” shed admit @Blue Beetle

he looks at her as he moves to sit her on the bed. he wipes her eyes. "hey...hey breathe...vic..breathe.." he says softly as he kisses her hands. "you did nothing wrong..." he wipes her eyes and jsut holds her hands. he was bending down on the floor infront of her. "you are ok...they...can be alot to anyone...werewolf or not.." he says sfotly. he looks at her and says "you are ok to be nervouse..or scared...i should have told them to not crowd you...i am sorry.." he looks at her as he tries to help her calm. "just breathe...you are ok. they wouldnt attack you...if anyone laid a hand on you i would take said hand off.." he smiles and chuckles lightly. "how about we hang out here...i have a tv and unlimited shows?" he says as he sits on the bed and pulls her into his arms and chest. "i am sorry...i should have...i should have done something...let them know to back off....my family can be alot...you havent even met my father..he is alot.."

“I-I know it’s just.. scary being around .. all you guys..” she quietly say leaning on him as she listen to him talk softly “good to know…” she chuckled, sniffling as she looked up to him “it’s okay..” she’d whisper softly stroking his cheek with her thumb “it’s not your fault.. and it will never be, I guess they were excited” as she was breathing and calming down.. she felt a weight of relief lift as he said they wouldn’t attack her, that was something she needed to hear, knowing that even if they did Alex would be ontop if it.. as she chuckled with him “yeah..” she’d smiled as she’d crawl over to him and plopped down ontop of him feeling his arms w wrap around her “Don’t apologize.. it’s okay I just don’t want to be swarmed.. I don’t mind talking with your aunts and uncles.. and even your dad.. but maybe not all in a group? What if they start to bombard me with questions..” she say looking at the Tv as he was scrolling through the shows “O-oh can we watch Red Skies? I heard it’s a very good scary movie” @Blue Beetle

he smiled as he hodls her close and nods. he clicks on the movie and turns up the audio. he holds her close before pulling up a blanket over them. "jsut realx...it is ok. i promise nothing will happen to you with me.." he says softly. he kisses her forehead as he looks at her. his eyes werent on the movie, just on her. he should he told them to back off..he sighs as he nzzles into her neck softly. he wanted to jsut stay here.. he kisses her neck. Victoria would nuzzle up on his chest as he pulled the blankets over them, a satisfied smile formed on her face, followed by a squeal as he kissed he forehead. God she loved his forehead kisses, and then her face flushed red feeling his soft lips on her neck.. Vic giggled in joy titling her head up slightly to allow him more room even, as she’d look to him “Okay… and there’s no need to apologize Alex.. you’ve don’t nothing wrong..” she said as she gently cupped his face and brought it down closer to hers as she placed a gentle kiss on his lips, and pulled back “I’m just glad to be here with you, right now okay? Everything else we can worry about when we cross that bridge” @Blue Beetle

he nods as he holds her close. "you are too cute." he mumbles as he hides his face into her neck. he takes a deep breath. her scent was so calming to alex. he just holds her tight to him. he wasnt paying attention to the movie. "if you are hungry or anythin glet me know.." he didnt want to move. he just wanted to stay here with her and holding her. his phone would buzz and he rolls his eyes before looking at it. "my dad wants to meet you. but i told him he could wait." he sets his phone down and hides his face again

Vic nodded as she’d looked ahead.. suddenly her face turned pale and her heart started to race as she looked at him once again “w-what!, right now!? No!! You shouldn’t have said that what if he thinks I’m just stalling!” she said sitting up as she’d looked at the door and then him “Tell him in 30 mins I-I have to freshen up and get some makeup and and put on something nice!” she said as she got off his bed “Can I use your shower please” Victoria pleaded as she got the okay she’d rush to his bathroom to freshen up, sitting in the shower for 10 mins, and then getting our towel drying her hair for the time being, she’d walk out with her towel wrapped around, grabbing her duffel bag and headed back into the bathroom to plug her blow dry her hair and style it. She’d then do her makeup and change into a nice outfit, something more suitable as she walked out the bathroom all nicely dressed and her makeup nicely done , her hair in a cute messy bun with 5 minutes to spare “Okay.. okay I’m ready…” @Blue Beetle

he looks at her and smiles. "shh it is fine. my dad doesnt mind." he looks at her and nods. "yes yes go use whaterver you want" he would get up and change as well. he put on a nicer shirt and pants before he would look at his hair in a standing mirror. he hums lightly. the movie still playing in the background. he looks at her as she walks out getting her duffel bag. he smiles and chuckles he would wait for her to be ready. he woul dturn to her and smiles. "you look great.." he says sfotyl putting her closer to him. "dont be nervouse. my dad is a kind man. ok?" he says softly before kissing her forehad and leading her out the room. they would walk to the 2nd floor. there was a few offices on this floor. they would walk to a office door and he would knock. a voice told them to come in. alex would open the door and there was a older man. he had a close cut beard that was greying. he wore a simple shirt and dress pants. the male turns to them and smile. "dad this is Victoria." alex would say

Victoria nodded.. fiddling with her hand “okay.. okay okay.. I won’t be nervous.. let me just get it all out in here” she said as she felt shivers down her back, getting all her heebie jeebies out as the two would then leave. As they headed towards the second floor Victoria heart started to pound harder and faster. She swore the other wolves could’ve heard her as they approached the office door Victoria halted as he knocked on the door, hearing the mans voice allowing them to enter as they did. Victoria would look at the older man, and bowed her head to him in respect, lifting her head up immediately, her hand on her arm as she smiled softly “I-it’s an honor to met you sir…” she said her voice frail, stumbling upon her own sentences @Blue Beetle

the older male looks at the two. "it is very nice to meet you Victoria...please dont be nervouse..i dont bite..none of us do.." he says softly moving towards the young womne. he takes her hands and holds them "you remind me of my wife..she was very nervouse when she met my family...they were...more...wild than we are.." he chuckles and smiles hoping to help her feel not as sacred and nervouse. alex smiles sadly as he looks away and tries to not think of his mother. she had died a few years ago..it was still...fresh...it hurt...he looks at vic and wonders what his mother would think of her.. his father smiles "my name is micheal...you can find me here mostly..or out on the back deck..i have told eveyone to give you both space...i heard they rushed you...i am very sorry about that.." @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

Well that’s reinsuring that’s for sure as she’d ease a bit down, still nervous but less , nodding “yes.. I understand that sir…” she respond back, watching him take her hands into his.. awkwardly chuckling along as he made a remark about his wife’s wild family “It’s a pleasure to met you.. and no- no they didn’t..” she said removing her hands from him after awhile “I think they were just eager..” shed snicker “and there’s nothing wrong with being eager..” she then said “Uhm— thank you for welcoming me into your pack with open arms , I must say.. you guys are much better than humans” shed then looked to Alex “and I don’t know where id be if he never stood up for me that day..” @Blue Beetle

the father nods and smiles "i am glad to hear that. you can stay here as long as you want. what is our is yours. we have alot of people here but they are all very nice and i have told them to give you both some space." alex smiles as he looks at vic and hiolds her hand. the father smiles and sighs "i am glad he did. those people shoudlnt have done what they did. i am glad i tought my son good and that he did good." alex looks at his father and smiles before they both head out to go back to alex's room. "how was that.." he says softly to vic. the house was starting to become louder as people came back from work and school.

“Thank you for your kind words..” Vic said, slightly bowing her head towards the. Older male as she took Alex’s hand and squeezed it, a bit nervous still as she’d look back towards his father, a smile forming on her face as well “Yeah.. I’m glad he was there when it happened, a blessing in disguise , you raise a mighty good son if I might say so myself..” she snickered looking at Alex “protective, charming and handsome none the less..” she say looking back at his father, bowing her head once more and bidding her goodbyes as they would head back to Alex’s room “It was.. less intimidating than I thought it would be? He seemed very kind.. I can see where you get it from” she smiled looking at him as she’d look at his door hearing the chattering grow louder “how many clans live here..?” @Blue Beetle

he looks at her as they walk. "it is just one but we have about 100 members. most of them dont live here. they live in their own homes. they come alot for dinner and movie ngihts. we have very large movie room." he says as he opens the door to his room. he pulls her into a hug "you did so well.." he says as he looks at her and smiles. he would rushel her hair before jumping on the bed and looking at her. "are you hungry? i can go and get some food for us. we can eat here." he didnt want to scare her downstairs there were children running around and adults talking. they were all hanging out and just living life. food was being cooked and served
