In a small kingdom tucked deep within the forest, far away from everyone else, there was a princess, and that princess's life was about to change forever. The Kingdom of Nixveila was a tiny kingdom, however, it had survived for centuries. It had never been involved in any wars and this was mainly due to its neutral stance and isolated location. The kingdom was ruled by an elven clan that had found its home here nearly one thousand years ago, and through that settlement, grew the kingdom of Nixveila. Now, Nixveila was a prosperous and blooming kingdom. However, not all good things last forever. In the dead of night, a black raven appeared at the window of the princess, a young woman named Lyari. She opened her window and took the note from the raven. She gasped as she read the words on the page. "In three days time, an army will arrive at your door, and your kingdom will fall. To prevent this, offer up your most prized possession. If you do, your kingdom will be unharmed. Should you ignore this request, prepare to be destroyed." Lyari ran to her father and showed him the note. He took the note, his eyes hardening. He crumpled the paper, and he turned away. "Guards..." He did not turn back to his daughter. "Prepare the princess. She will need to be dressed in her best... bring her to the gates."

Lyari's crystal blue eyes widened. "W-What? Father! Y-You can not-" "The Kingdom of Nixveila is more important than one life. You know this." "B-But, Father-" "Silence!" He barked, glaring down at her. His eyes held... nothing. No love, no shame... just anger. Lyari whimpered but let the guards take her away. With the help of her hand maidens, Lyari was prepared. She was bathed in the finest waters, rubbed with floral oils and her hair and body scrubbed with perfumes and oils. Just a short while later, she was forced onto a large stone platform at the castle gates. She was dressed in a white gown with silver lace and filigree along the skirt and bodice. The bodice hugged her ample bust tightly, the long sleeves cut off at her wrists. Her long blue hair was curled and fluffed, and while she wore no makeup, her natural beauty was prominent. However, she couldn't stop the clear drops that ran down her pale cheeks. She, the guards, and her father, all stood at the castle gate...waiting for the mysterious army that the note had inferred. @LoganMicheals

Sitting by the window he set out a raven. His favourite of all the ones he raised call them pets, servants, friends. It mattered not, what was important was that his fastest one would deliver a message. Yuki turned to his commander that was watching this. "Sir, please... I must as that you reconsider this. There is no reason to start a war with their kingdom." Yuki shakes his head and clicks his tongue. "I don't need a reason. They will bend to my whims. They would fall to my army. Besides wouldn't it be fun to see what they would give me?" His smile turns into a grin, and he steps forward toward the commander. "Get everyone ready we leave tomorrow morning." ... With that night came and went, Yuki was in no hurry the treasure they provided would either be waiting or he would set the entire kingdom on fire, and take what he desired. Yuki was the first, he choose to wear suits most days, but his jacket would be held by a guard so his ebony wings could spread fully. Behind Yuki was his army, he had done his research and brought with him just enough of his army to take out the enemy. The journey was long but as they arrived from above Yuki was the first to spot this flat stone and on it... A young woman. He guided his army down some of them had arrived on foot. He stayed a distance away to show he meant peace should his treasure be waiting for him. Yuki makes no move to introduce himself, he instead folds his wings behind him and takes a long stride forward. He held no weapon. His black hair hung loosely in his eyes, his suit seemed no worse for wear considering the journey, and a black pair of horns curve back, they didn't seem out of place on him, yet he could easily be a fallen angel. "Beautiful woman tied to a rock. Were you expecting a benevolent god?" His voice is calm yet powerful, he commanded the very air around him to silence so his voice was all that could be heard.

Everyone watched as the army appeared in the distance. The King braced himself for their sudden ambush, but nothing came. Only one man approached the platform. The guards readied themselves but the King held his hand up. He watched the dark clad man observed his daughter. Lyari yelped as a man with horns appeared before her, staring down at her. His dark hair was tussled a bit and hung in his face, but his eyes seemed to pierce her. "I...I do not know, Your Majesty. Sir... I..." She whispered. Her cheeks were red from crying and the tears that raced down her cheeks continued their dance. "Your Majesty," The King called from his post. "I, the King of Nixveila, hereby offer you up our most prized possession. Our only heir; My daughter. Please, take her in good faith, and please spare of lives." His voice was firm, confident, and calm. He seemed to hold no remorse for the fact that he had decided to sell his only daughter... Lyari did not speak, and she did not look back at her father. She stayed silent, her gaze hard as she listened to her father speak. How could he not even feel sorry for doing this to her? How could he just offer her up like she was a statue in the garden? How could he do this? Lyari grit her teeth, her tears coming down faster. @LoganMicheals

two of his knights followed as he approached closer, he stared at the women being offered to him. He stepped right up to her and wiped her tears. He was gentle as he touched her, though it seemed more like a mockery. Standing up straight, he tilted his head slightly finally taking in everything about her. His eyes travelled down her body as if he were going to memorize every curve and detail in one glance. He heard what the king was saying, it filled him with anger. How could this man give up so freely what he says he prized most? He was a pathetic man. Nothing worth saving. Though Yuki never took his eyes off the woman. “This man is your father?” It was phrased like a question though he expected no answer. He was all to happy to take her. It was what he had demanded. He was silent for several long moments as he considered his next move. Only now did he take his eyes off her to look to one of the knights next to him. “I’ll accept this offer. She’ll make an excellent…bride” he purrs the last word. With that his knights move to take her untying her. Should she not fight they would hold her firmly. He leans in close to her and whispers for only her. “If you wish it princess, I will kill him for you.” His words were spoken slowly into her ear, even though she couldn’t see it, he was smiling as he said those words. @VaVaVicodin

Lyari flinched as the pale hand came up and brushed her tears. Her body couldn't stop trembling, and she felt foolish. When the man before her spoke again, he asked if the man speaking was her father. She nodded, her eyes still not meeting his. She didn't want to displease him. She didn't know what would happen if she did. The King visibly relaxed as the man stated that he would accept the 'offer', though he felt his spine stiffen as it was stated that she would be his bride. "B-Bride?" Lyari finally spoke, and she couldn't hold back her surprised blurt. The man offered to kill the King and she quickly shook her head. "No! Please!" She didn't want blood shed in her name. She never wanted to see violence, and hearing that someone could be killed because of her, just made her heart break. She couldn't accept that. "Please, don't hurt anyone... Please, Your Majesty." She begged, those tears continuing to race down her cheeks. @LoganMicheals
