Lady de Lucian, was a feared and ruthless queen. She was strict and had no mercy toward other races especially humans . For as long as shes been alive all the vampire knew was war between the two species. War and bloodshed. Just seeing a human or even werewolf in sight while she was in public brought enough rage to make her blood boil.. then again everyone does. The lady had quite a history, having been queen for nearly 3 decades and the cause of many many.. wars and bloodshed, so much she was nicked name Terror Queen or Bloody Queen …but she was a respected queen amongst the vampire community, along the other communities such as the faes, elves werewolves , humans etc she was known as the Bloody Queen. On the day the human decided to lure around her castle, queen Lucian was in her throne room, feeding off her human blood bag, her fangs pried deep into the males neck enjoying her feast, as it was abruptly ruined hearing her guard speak “My lady.. sorry to intrude...we think there might be someone lurking in the castle…” Her guard spoke kneeling down infront of her as Lady de Lucian pried her fangs slowly out of the humans neck and licked the remaining blood off his neck “Good boy..” she’d playfully hum as she’d shoo the blood bag away , another guard taking the male away as Lucian would lick her fangs and turned to her guard with a pleasant and yet annoyed expression “Is that so?” she spoke her voice malicious and dark as Lucian would grin “is that so..? Every well then..where do u think they might be?” As the guard would rise and lead the queen to the east wing

Lucian would nod, as she’d walk down the hall.. playfully humming, the smell of human lingering in the air as she chuckled softly glancing, seeing the painting on the wall ever so tilted as she continued to go down the hall.. that poor little naive human.. stupid stupid boy, as she see him tempting to hide from her “Halt.. who dares trespasses in my castle..” the mistress spoke.. appearing infront of him, titling his chin up softly with her finger

He froze up in shock for the briefest of moments having to take in who he was against. He then realized when she appeared before him that he may be in over his head just a tad. He had slain many a dragon before and normal vampires but not exactly a queen. This was… new. His jade green eyes shimmered with a sharp and fierce hatred as he realized she was the target he was after. She would fall for the atrocities she had caused, a slow creeping anger spreading across his face. He of course stupidly tried to reach for his weapon, his heart rate slowly rising as the adrenaline spike was soon to begin. He thought he’d been near flawless sneaking this far but apparently not. Damn it… he was hoping to get the upper hand on her. Not the other way around. The one who shall put an end to your cruel reign monster! He also tried to shove her finger away and back off. He needed room to draw his weapon. (edited)

The lady laughed slightly.. watching the young man try to draw his weapon, she’d quickly stop him by placing her hand on his wrist, gripping it harshly as she moved his hand away and kept the tight grip, her scarlet red eyes analyzing the man from head to toe a smile creeping from ear to ear as the vampire watched amused as the man tried to escape. So amused infact she let her finger off his chin and her hand off his wrist backing up giving him room to draw his weapon if he so dares to… the vampire would fold her arms under her chest licking her fangs a look of, ‘come on.. you won’t’ plastered on her face, wanting the challenge @Crosby

@Lady de Lucian (@𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓴𝔂𝔀𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻) - jump He winced when she did as the strength difference between them was quite vastly different. He had underestimated her… severely. Now he was tiny bit worried and fearful as reality set in. But he hid it of course. He couldn’t let her see but his heart rate had drastically spiked the moment she did so. His eyes stayed full of hatred and fixated upon her. He did indeed back off, questioning if he should or not for a few seconds. She had indeed intimidated him. He was silently worried and Drew his weapon. He knew it was either fight her or she’d probably kill him he assumed… she wouldn’t keep him around. Come on Crosby. Be the hero, people are counting on you. She has to be stopped here and now! If you can’t do it, no one can! He gripped his weapon tight and adjusted his footing before suddenly lunging forth with incredible speed for a human. He swung with all his might not holding back one bit, letting out quite the cry of a warrior as he did so. You’ll pay for all the lives of the innocents you’ve taken! You shall fall this day you vile filth! @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓴𝔂𝔀𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻

“Oh goody..” The queen said clapping her hands watching him draw his weapon. Her smile only growing wider to expose her sharp, long fangs.. but wait.. what’s this? The human looked a bit afraid how cute, Lucian would nothing him to come forward and to her surprise he did. He was coming at incredible speed much faster than the average human, infact he even managed to knick her side before she vanished only to appear behind him laughing, wiping the blood from her side from her finger and looking at it “My my.. you are quite the fast one arnt ya?” she said her voice smooth like honey as she’d knee the man’s leg hoping he’d fall to his knee as she continued with her thought “Unfortunately not fast enough” she said tapping her chin thinking “how are you so hurt those lives were innocent hm? What if they committed horrendous crimes and I was doing society a favor, ever think about that human?” the mistress said, as guards started to come down the hall only to be halted by Lucian raising her hand “I can handle the man by myself, you stay there” she spoke as the guards would lower their weapons staying a far distance from the two “Now now… who sent you Hm or are Perhaps a rouge?” @Crosby

He saw those fangs and god did he hate everything about them. Memories coming back of his past adventures and the awful things her mind had done. He had exterminated them for what they did. He planned to do the same with her… if it was the last thing he did. He went a bit wide eyed as she struck him from behind. Of course he fell to his knees, he wasn’t expecting it. Oh crap. He had to use one of his hands to catch himself, his other hand holding his sword but he did nearly have to drop it. He glanced back to her fiercely as she spoke. However, that’s when he realized… all that just to draw a single drop of blood? He’d have to seriously step up his game if he was going to beat her… However for now he listened, holding off his attacks for now. He was determined yes, but he wasn’t stupid. If she wasn’t lying, maybe he was in the wrong. She could see he was thinking about it. To which… he hoped he wasn’t the one in wrong. But then again, why would he believe this… beast!? She was a murderer! Everyone told him so! There was apparently so much evidence but he’d never been there for anything she’d done. He glanced over to the guards as he of course tried to get to his feet. As he did so, his arm was exposed with his sword, a perfect chance to disarm him if she so chose. Why should I believe you queen of vampires? You’re probably lying to me just like everyone else. Trying to save your own skin. He huffed, albeit quite cutely, his cheeks puffing up for a moment. He was trying to be intimidating. The king sent me to rid of you. You’ve caused too many problems recently. To be fair, he was the strongest the king had at his disposal at the moment, but most certainly wasn’t the first he’d sent to try to rid of her. His patch dedicating his Loyalty to the human kingdom visible on his jacket. He also had a patch to the faction he was part of on his far arm, The Heroes Of The People. Or so that’s what they were called. It was a lion head with two swords behind (edited)

It. The lion was white and silver with its eyes being purple. The swords were orange oddly. It was a strange emblem to say the least. It stood out from his black jacket. His hair was falling a bit into his face. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓴𝔂𝔀𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻 (edited)

The queen would furrow her brows ever so slightly, hearing him talk so poorly about her. It was disgusting how these pests.. humans had those thoughts about her, the assumptions they make of her ugh! Despite well.. half being true but there was always some kindness put in thought before it happened. Lucian huffed her scarlet eyes piercing daggers at him “Fine.. believe whatever you so chose to, I don’t have time to prove myself to a worthless pest like you” she said venomously.. watching him huff, trying to be all intimidating a small smirked formed on her face, as she’d chuckle slightly, it was adorable seeing the man trying to be so intimidating, but clearly failing. It was quite amusing the least to say as she cocked her head “oh..? Is that so. The big mighty king sent you of all to get rid of me… wow. He must’ve trusted you a lot to have you go solo..” she said looking to her nails, bored before she laid eyes back on him, analyzing him. The patch on his arm clearly had a meaning, she’s seen a couple before on men who dared entered her castle but didn’t survive as she looked to his other patch, the one with the lion as she raise a brow, and reached down grabbing his arm gently and moved it to get a better look “This is a beautiful patch…” she said in awe.. the lion and the contrast of colors was impeccable. She’d then lower his arm and stepped back “well, unfortunately for you, you won’t be returning to the king…” Lucian said snapping her fingers as the guards approached grabbing his arms and forcing him up “Take him to the dungeons… I’ve grown bored of my toy..” she spoke as the guards nodded.. as Lucian would walk with the guards to the dungeons “So.. human amuse me for a bit, that lion patch what does it stand for…,?” @Crosby

He hated those piercing eyes at the moment. He felt she was so harshly judging him to no end. He glared even more harshly at her once she called him a pest however. Who was she to be calling him that? And yes, the king had quite a lot of trust in him actually. Much more than anyone he had in recent times. He went to say something when she started to look to her nails but he was cut abruptly short when she grabbed his arm. Of course he tried to take it back only for him to be taken up by the guards. He instantly went to fight them with no hesitation. He kicked at one’s legs and tried to head butt the other like a vicious animal. let me go you monsters! He tugged like mad too with all his strength. His heart rate climbing higher and higher, revealing his rather sweet and delectable scent he had kept hidden well until now. It was… not like any humans she’d met in ages. A rare mixed concoction of the best bloods it seemed. I’m part of the Heroes of the People if you must know. And I’m most surely not staying in your damn dungeon to be your pet you wretched witch! He yelled at her, his eyes flaming with a growing aggressive rage. Oh boy was he not happy at being a potential prisoner. To put him behind bars for all eternity would be an absolute shame and waste. He had other uses she was yet to discover. He had dropped his sword but it reappeared upon his back. It was bound to him. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓴𝔂𝔀𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻

Lucians eyes widen, with pure amusement in her eyes watching the human put up a fight against her guards. How bold.. a small chuckle escaped the queens lips as she watched her guards get a better grip, one moving his head away so avoid getting butt headed. As they looked to Lucian, a look of should we kill him? Knock him out… as Lucian would have her finger on her chin, watching the sight infront pondering “I can hear your heart beating rapidly human.. with all this tantrum I’m surprised you haven’t collapsed” she said as snap her fingers as the guards let go stepping back, one about to pick up his sword only for it to vanish, and reappear on his back as if it was bound to him. Lucian’s eyes narrowed as she shoo away her guards with a single hand motion as her guards vanished.. Lucian began to circle the man, her hands behind her back, her posture tall, and her eyes glowing never leaving his body “Well.. if you don’t want to be my “pet” than might I offer you a position here..” the queened hummed “I’m sure if your part of the “heros of people” she’d quote “than I’m sure you can prove yourself here… afterall I’ll treat you better than the king. You’ll be living a life of lavish here in the castle, with a room the size of mine and a kitchen the size of a stadium..” she chuckled as she stopped behind him leaning down towards his ear given the two were around the same height “Well..?~” she whispered sultry into his ear.. her fangs gently grazing the tip of his ears as she let a quiet and yet malicious giggle out @Crosby

Of course he wasn’t going to go down without a fight, he was an incredibly stubborn and capable fighter. He was already quite exhausted as they dropped him. He had to catch himself of course. Exhaustion was setting in as he felt it hit him hard. He watched her circle him… like a predator circling her next meal. He hated it. Hopefully they had at least bound his hands or he was going to reach for his blade again. His eyes shimmered with life unlike any other as they looked to her. A hope burning within quite adorably. It would be a waste to extinguish such and ruin his beauty. He shivered at her whispering in his ear with such a tone, it was infectious, messing with his head in every way. But he had to resist the crazy queen with all he had. He couldn’t give in. No. He tried to step away. I’ll never join you. You’re a murderous monster. I’d rather die then ever be seen by your side in any shape or form. Well of course he meant that only to a certain degree, everyone could be bartered with, including him. It would just… most certainly cost her. A lot of time and persuasion. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓴𝔂𝔀𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻

“Oh? That’s a shame.. I’d hate to kill a body like yours… so muscular.. so lean…” she’d hummed softly titling his chin up slightly with her finger before lowering it as she walked off, her back to him and had hands clasped behind her back as she looked out the window, the moon glistening as she’d tilt her head up and sigh heavily “I can give you all you want and more… I’m not as murderous as you think I am… I’m good in my own ways…not everybody will love me” she snickered, glancing back her red eyes piercing daggers at him, with a calm smile “So I’ll give you the night to consider you option… die.. or well become a guard” she’d shrugs as the guards would re appear and force him up, Lucian would vanish into bats as they flew off , only to reappear in her dark obsidian throne, one leg over the other and her arm resting on the arm of her chair, her head on her hand as she’d be tapping her fingers on her chair

“whatever you chose the queen has returned to her chambers, if you wish to speak to her you’ll have to find her yourself human..” The guard spoke in a rough voice

He fell quiet at that threat. She of course was serious it seemed. Great… could he take on this entire kingdom to prevent his own death? Probably not. His eyes were soft and locked with hers as he looked into her eyes. He was… a bit worried. Of course he had fair reason to be. He watched the beautiful vampire turnaway, quietly looking her up and down. He was a bit spooked when the guards came out of nowhere. But this time he chose not to fight. He lowered his head as he started to think. It didn’t take him long to make up his choice once she vanished. His hair falling into his face and shrouding his eyes. He knew there was no other option. He wasn’t strong enough to slay an entire kingdom of vampires. Let me go… I’m going to find her. He said quite coldly and sternly. He tilted his head slightly revealing the glint of his eyes. He wasn’t exactly trying to be dungeon bound and then having to get out. That would make his life a living hell. One he’d experienced too many times already. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓴𝔂𝔀𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻

Lucian would run her hands through her lucious silverly hair, reading a proposal that was sent to her via the bloodmoon clan. A guard standing next to her looking dead ahead as the queen would be fixated on the words infront of her. “Can you believe it?! They want a truce..” *shed hiss in disgust “the clan that killed my people first are suddenly seeking help..” she’d chuckled tossing the letter aside “what fools..” she said Meanwhile the guard with Crosby looked at him like he was some mad man “you willingly want to seek her highness?” the guard questioned, absolutely flabbergasted at his responses. Fuck if the guard was in his shoes he would have turned and try to find a way to escape.. or just accepted death.. as the guard would clear his throat and pivoted “follow me..” he said as they began walking down the dark eerie hallway, and then a spiraling staircase as they walked 3 floors up, to reveal a door. The guard knocked on the door twice… as Lucian would speak, her voice echoing in the halls “enter..” she said, sitting upright as the guard would come in.. followed by Crosby as they walked down the red carpet, stopping 3ft away from the throne as the guard would kneel down, lowering their head as they spoke “Mistress.. the human had requested to find you..” the guard spoke “Oh~ is that so..” Lucian spoke, with a sinister smile as she’d cross one leg over the other, her elbow resting on her thigh as she’d lean forward slightly, looking at Crosby with pure pleasure. “leave us alone..” she said shooing both guard away as they vanished “Changed your mind..?” shed hummed .. and then immediately followed by a sinister chuckle “what made you change your mind?” @Crosby

He didn’t see any other options to be fair. He’d have to get away from the guards, successfully fight and defeat every single one and then on top of that somehow not draw out the queen also? That seemed like a nightmare truly. He stayed silent the entire time they walked along, observing everything around quietly. It was unlike anywhere he’d ever been before… and not in a good way. He hated it… this whole place gave him an uneasy feeling. He mentally prepared himself as the doors opened. He followed the guards lead and kneeled. He knew it was best to be smart about this, there was no other way now. She could easily smell his elevated heart rate. His hair falling into his face as he tried to keep his cool. He didn’t look to her yet as he watched the guards leave. He slowly looked up to her. His eyes still fierce and full of fight. But if she looked closely, there may have been a hint of fear within. I just wanted to ask more about what this all entails if I do take you up on your offer. Nothing else. He said quite simply. As they walked down to the throne room, he’d see the hallway was dimly lighted with candles, a beautiful orange glow. There would also be portraits of the queen in the hallways from when she was younger with her parents to just a portrait of herself as they neared the throne room. The hallway smelled like fresh pine corn..with a mix of iron due to the blood in other rooms. As they entered the room, Lucian would smell the air..his fear hitting her nose brought nothing but joy to her face as she tried to contain it, looking down at he knelt and stayed that way until her guards left.. as she asked her question she sat patiently, awaiting his answer. The fear in his eyes hidden.. but not well hidden for the queen to not notice “Ah.. I see..” she hummed-leaning back on her throne as she’d summon up a contract on her hand, gazing over it to refresh her memory “well for you human.. I’ll customize it… I’ll let you have your own room, a room the size of mine! You’ll have your own sla— er butler.. I mean for your need. I’ll be sure there’s food for you.. and ontop of that you’ll be my~ personal guard ..” she’d softly hum, her voice echoing around “No one to harm you.. and all you have to do is just make her no harm comes to me… I’ll pay you 200,000 Golds.. or whatever you desire” she’d smile, exposing her long fangs as she got up. Descending down her throne as she walk closer to the human holding her hand out “welll~~” she said her voice sultry leaning closer to him @Crosby

He hated how eerie this place was and how she seemed to be… showing herself off. But he kept his Mouth shut. He hated that look plastered all across her face, her oozing confidence at having so much power and control over him. He crossed his arms and stared into her eyes quite bold. I’d prefer a female servant. He didn’t trust a vampire man to not try to betray him. He’d had one too many run ins in the past with such. He didn’t really care about the list. He knew it’d sound realistically too good to be true. what’s the catch? Surely I don’t only have to protect you vampire. I know you’re planning more than that. He rolled his eyes. He did try to back off and take a few cautious steps away from her as she drew closer. He wasn’t exactly stupid when it came to making contracts. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓴𝔂𝔀𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻

“A female servant you shall get” Lucian simply said, chuckling at that comment “I’ll be sure she doesn’t feed off you” the queen smiled humble exposing her long, sharp, venomous fangs “What’s my catch? Why darling~ I have no catch” she said gently folding her arms under her chest “I just think you’d be better off here, trust me there’s things I know more than you do in the human realm, and there kingdom. Why? To them your nothing but a guard! Replaceable none the less! They train you, use you and abuse you probably. Here.. here I’ll treat you with respect if you treat me with respect. My servants all gave their own room, well feed and free to do what they do choose as long as the obey my orders when I need them” she spoke, lowering her hands now to gently cup his face, looking at his eyes “So, no catch.. having a human here would be interesting, and If you don’t work out well, I can just add you to my blood bad collection” she giggled, lowering her hands off his face now “Now.. what do we say? We have our self a deal?” she said, taking a step back from him, noticing he was prying away. There was no need to continue getting closer and closer If the human was only to stray away “I’ll need an answer, now” @Crosby

He of course was hesitant. Did he seriously want to make a deal with the vampire queen? This seemed… dangerous. He had no idea if he could even truly trust her word. She could always throw him In the dungeons again right after this and he’d be powerless. And her not having a draw back to her side of the deal made him suspicious, surely she wanted something from him. But what? He didn’t know. But he did know he was quite disposable at the human kingdom, he’d seen it first hand with other adventurers. He watched as she drew back. He wasn’t a fan of when she said blood bag. He’d never be one of… those. Reduced to such a pathetic state. He harshly glared at her for that. He was surprised she wasn’t trying to get closer and closer. I… His words got caught up in his throat. He made the impulsive decision he shouldn’t have. We have a deal… He slowly lowered his head, his eyes drifting away. He spoke quietly, not exactly confident here. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓴𝔂𝔀𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻

Lucian patiently waited for his response, an eager look on her face as she every now and then eye her hand and then his eyes, what was so hard? The offer seemed like a great one, well Atleast to the queen as she’d lock eyes with the young man “We have a deal..” the man spoke, hesitantly shaking the queens hand as she smiles, shaking his hand before lowering it and stepping back to her throne “Very well! Good choice young man ..” she smiled as she’d snap her fingers, a guard showing up with a young lady, she had red hair a fragile body and a worried expression, as the guard would push her towards Crosby, she’d stumble as she’d fell to her knees for him “This is Bella, she will be your servant and guard, as you requested a female one” the mistress spoke as she’d motion Bella to rise , as Bella did, she’d stand next to Crosby clasping her hands and looking down , not speaking unless spoken too “Bella will show you to your room, get comfortable feel free to roam and explore.. and be in the kitchen by 8 for dinner.. I’ll have the chef prep human worthy food" she said as shed motion the two away, her guard looked at the mistress a bit concerned "dont worry.. will all do time, he'll want to become one of us after seeing how lavishly he could live as a vampire.." Isabellas POV Isabella being shooed away scared her as she quickly spoke "yes mistress, right away mistress" as she pivot motioning Crosby to follow as they left the throne room, they would walk down the narrow hallway and up a couple flights of stairs as they exit off the 2nd one, walking down yet another hall, as shed open the door to his room, the 4th room on the right "your room.. master—" she said as she stepped back, allowing him to explore

He was most certainly not planning on becoming one of them… not now not ever. He’d seen the worst of what vampires were and what they did. He certainly wouldn’t be one of those. And he was too stubborn to consider otherwise. He nodded as he listened to the queen. He of course looked away and offered Bella a hand up for help when she needed to get up. He did however wonder if his own servant was one of them or a human. If she was one of them, she’d realize how strong his scent was, astonishingly sweet too with a special allure to it. It wasn’t quite like anything else they’d probably ever experienced. He soon followed Bella, quietly of course. He didn’t speak quite yet, not with so many eyes and ears around. In private then he would. He stepped inside and fell silent, looking around the room briefly for a moment before motioning for her to come in also. I’d prefer you called me Crosby, not master. But if you must call me that, then I understand. I do have… some questions for you if that’s alright. And well, obviously I’d like to point a few things out to you. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓴𝔂𝔀𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻 Sure! I’d love to see them if you do! And it’s quite alright really!

Isabella hesitated as he requested to be called by his first name.. shed stare at him and quickly bowed down to him “yes sir— Crosby.. if that is what you wish, I will call you that” she smiled revealing her rather smallish fangs as she raised herself back up to look at him she’d enter the room as he motioned her too, his scent growing as she went in, but she didn’t act on her instincts. Shed slightly closed the door behind to alert the other guards that the room was currently occupied and to not come in, as he began to spoke..wanting to ask her questions, Bella nodded “Yes.. that is fine, I will try to answer them as best as I can…” she said with a reinsuring nod.. as she waited for him to also point a few things out @Crosby

His eyes would meet hers if she so let them. His had a beautiful shimmering life to them deep within their green hue. But they would drift down as he saw her fangs, that had already answered one of his questions right then and there. She was one of them. Hopefully, she didn’t get too close or his scent would probably become too much. He ran his hands through his hair and sighed. Well you already answered one of them. But there’s no need for formalities like bowing with me. I’m not exactly a noble or anything. And I’d honestly prefer to just be treated as a friend or something similar. He spun and walked over to the bed, to which he sat on the corner. And can you close the door please? I’d rather not have the entire castle here to my private matters at the moment. But anyways, I’ll start simple. How are you treated here? I want you to be honest with me. And what responsibilities do you know of that her “personal guard” has? He was of course going to pry a bit. Bella lowered her head slightly hearing the slight voice change in how he said that answered on of them, she knew his question was about wether she was human or vampire.. as she quietly said “I’m sorry” as she’d then look up to him and closed the door behind as soon as he requested it , raising a brow “as.. a friend? What’s that..” she’d questioned. It’s been a long time since she heard the word friend, she was engraved to treat people with respect, calling those hire than her master, mistress, sir ma’am you name it “Here I am treated with respect.. as I earned it, the mistress treats me with respect as well. As long as I do what I say, she gives me the freedom to do my own things if I have no orders from her” she said, as she’d then hesitate on his second question “I— I fetch her human blood bags.. and well.. clean up the castle when it’s dirty, so I guess house maid stuff?” she’d questioned shrugging “hopefully that answered it for you—“ she said stopping herself “O-oh I want to reiterate something . I don’t drink human blood. I’m vegan.. I drink animal blood, and the mistress only drinks blood of those humans who do wrong.. so if you don’t get on her wrong side you’ll be good” she’d wryly say, rubbing the back of her neck “as for her personal guard.. it’s more so protecting her when she goes out to make treaties.. and making sure nobody tries to kill her I-I think I’m no so sure; the mistress can let you know more if you ask her..” she said as he’d motion her to sit down bed to him.. she’d hesitate, approaching slowly as she sat down next to him, softly sinking in the bed looking at the floor rather than him “I hope I answered your questions Crosby..” @Crosby

Well, of course he wanted to know if the person he’d be closest with here besides the queen was human or vampire. It was more of a safety concern for himself, he’d seen when vampires were starved and what monsters they became because of it. The unspeakable acts they would commit to those closest and those that trusted them most. But that was besides the point. It’s fine. No need to apologize. I assume it’s not even your fault, you were probably turned unwillingly if I had to guess. And well… He debated how to explain it. a friend is well, someone you can trust in, someone to have your back when it all hits the fan, someone you can relate to. He was still looking at her of course despite her simply refusing to meet his eyes. He didn’t mind. Although, her version of being respected by the mistress was a bit different from his. But then again, he hadn’t seen enough to really judge right now. So he’d keep quiet on that fact. Her hesitation made him a bit worried of course, skeptical even. I do need to know though, do you fetch her human blood bags? Do you go out to hunt people to bring back here? His rather soft demeanor tensed a little, hopefully she didn’t. He wasn’t looking to put his trust into a monster. But he could always try for change. I’ll ask her for more details later. He soon looked away finally. He checked himself over, hopefully the queen hadn’t marked him as a servant or anything, he’d seen other vampire lords and ladies who did such. Bella subtly nodded, placing her hands over her lap as she looked at him speak, awaiting her turn as she listened to his concerns about being the queens new pawn.. nodding every now and then. As he explained what a friend was, Bella nodded a small smile forming on her face as she quietly chimed “well.. that’s cute, I’m glad to have a friend then..” she said as she let him continue to express his concerns shed tense up when he asked why she fetched the mistress blood bags and what kind of humans, as Bella would look down to her lap once more “the lady she only drinks fresh blood form the source, rarely will you find her drinking from a blood bag.. or in a cup in general. Elder vampires like her only have the fine taste for blood. As for those I fetch, they are criminals.. those who would be sent to death.. but rather killing them the mistress puts them in enteral hell by using them as blood bags.. she claims that it makes them feel the pain of their actions.. taking away lives of other..” Bella shuttered not wanting to think much more as she stayed quiet after “please.. do..” she said relieved Bella would then notice him check over himself raising a brow “if your looking for a mark, the mistress didn’t leave one. She doesn’t leave marks on anybody to claim, well besides her former husband.. she will only mark those who she claims… and that’s usually rare ever since King Nicholas passed back years ago. So do not fret Crosby..” she smiled once more finally looking up to him, her eyes glowing a soft velvet red “Is there.. anything else I could try to answer for you?” she said once more as she got up and stretched her arms “or anything I can get you to feel more comfortable?” @Crosby

He didn’t smile as much as he should’ve for the fact she agreed they could be friends. He was a bit distracted and caught up in the moment. He had a… feeling. One he didn’t like. This all felt.. wrong. Something was not right. He’d done something he wasn’t supposed to. But hearing what Bella said and then what he just did earlier… he had a feeling she was going to feed off him. Or well, they both might. But that’s besides the point. He snapped out of his thoughts when she spoke about markings. He looked to her and made the mistake of meeting her eyes. He sort of got lost in them for a few moments. All vampire eyes were quite enchanting to him, but intimidating still albeit. Okay… He chose not to question the passing of the king. At least, not quite yet. Isabella nodded as he thanked her, getting ready to leave she pause hearing his question “a pet..? What do you mean—“ she spoke confused before it hit her “oh. No no, like I said , the mistress never feed of anybody who works here, only her blood bags, aka criminals who where punished to death” she say with a soft smile “now.. you should get ready for dinner with the mistress, im sure she’s awaits your arrival in the kitchen, I’ll be outside when you get dressed” bella said as she stepped out as he finished getting dressed and stepped out, she’d show him to the kitchen, as they walked in Lucian would be siting at the head of the table, looking at the two “mistress” Bella bowed to her, and excused herself as she left

“Bella..” Lucian acknowledges as she’d watch her leave, she’d motion Crosby to come over and sit down in the chair next to her, the meal they had would be a steak cooked medium rare, mashed potatoes, broccoli and champagne. On the table as well was a bunch of sides like Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts etc etc.. whatever she thought a human might like “How are you adjusting to things so far? Your servant, is she to your liking I hope?” Lucian hummed softly looking at him @Crosby

He nodded, he didn’t believe that for a second. He had a twisting feeling in his stomach this was way too good to be true. She’d want something from him, payment. Blood. Especially considering he did try to kill her. He sighed and got up, getting dressed and fixing his hair up. As he stepped out a bit later, he’d be quite the alluring handsome young man. He surely would stand out from any other males here, vampire or not. He kept quiet and followed Bella, lost in his own thoughts. But he snapped out of it hearing Lucian speak. His eyes inevitably meeting hers whether he liked it or not. He paused briefly at the entrance, looking to everything as Bella left before joining her. He slowly sat beside her. He didn’t dare speak yet. He seemed to completely ignore her as she spoke for a bit. His eyes almost… glazing over as he looked at the table. His body tensing up, his heart rate elevating ever so slightly. A few moments went by and he put his hand to his head. What— oh he had to respond to the queen now. It’s been good. And yes, she is. Lucian would dig into her meal, awaiting for the male to speak. She could practically smell the fear and nervousness of him and it disgusted her for a bit. Everything she said to him about the blood.. down to shelter and yet the human couldn’t trust her? Ugh! It was disrespectful to her at this point. Not bothering to look at her or even thank for a human meal. But the queen just brushed it away like a chip on her shoulder patiently waiting his response “Mhm.. you’re welcome.” she said, quietly a hint of annoyance in her voice as she’d looked away towards her guard as she’d shoo them away, leaving one guard by the exit and the other by the door that lead to the kitchen “Our chef also has prepared other meals if you don’t like this one.. as well as Desert?”

“Dessert, mistress” her guard corrected

“Yes that.. my chef told me that’s a quite popular thing in the human world.. but clearly if you seem anxious like this, and nervous you can return to your chambers” she’d bluntly say, as her guard would pick her plate up. Walking off with it “I can practically smell the fear and nervousness.. do you not trust what I say?” she’d say staring at him @Crosby

Well, he wasn’t exactly going to bend at the knee and fully trust her. She’d have to earn it, just like his respect. That was the human way after all. He began to grab a bit of the more important things for his survival, mainly protein, carbs; and vegetables. He knew he’d best eat well for if things went wrong. He always expected the worst from beasts. He had evidence upon him of past skirmishes gone wrong anyways. When he leaned forth, she’d see various scars of bite marks from other vampires. Too many to count. Like he was a blood bag. But he did finally looked towards her, snapping out of his thoughts. Sorry… I’ll be fine without dessert. Thank you for the meal. His eyes met hers, seemingly awaiting her to make some stupid move. He wasn’t well, a fan of her staring into his soul. Especially when he’d seen vampires who could complete mind control humans. He didn’t put it past her to have that ability. He stuffed his face and debated what to say clearly, his eyes drifting away briefly in thought. The answer was obviously a yes. Look… I… He stopped eating, putting his fork down, running his hand through his hair. A wave of stress rippling across his face. I know you’re telling the truth to me… Or so he thought. But I haven’t ever had the best of experiences with any monsters. He slowly undid his shirt. Glancing up at her to tell her almost not to freak out. But once he had his shirt mostly undid, she could see why he didn’t trust her. There was a faded ancient claim upon him, long since dormant. It must’ve been nearly a thousand years old, it was a beautiful J with vines and Hearts all around it. Upon his chiseled body was many claw marks and what looked like whip marks, all of which had scarred over. He only let her look for a bit before growing a bit… insecure and putting his shirt back on. I don’t even remember what happened anymore because of them… they wiped my memory. He slowly looked away. He had lost it all last time he
