The storm raged wild and unstoppable through the city quarter, the streets empty of people as they took shelter either at home or within one of the many drinking holes that lined the streets. The weather was unusual for the time of year and had arrived a week prior unexpectedly. Even the meteorologists were struggling to find an explanation for it, or any idea of when it would move on. In one of the bars, a handful of men gathered, drinking and chatting about their frustrations with the weather. The door would burst open from the strength of the gale catching it and the older gentleman from behind the bar would run to push it closed. Before he could though, in would walk a woman. She was taller than average, around 5ft9” in the stiletto heels she wore, wearing a floor length black dress with slits up either side to her waist. Between her waist and hips, black ties would hold the dress in place. Her long brown hair sat in loose curls down her back and about her shoulders, and she hardly looked like she had been travelling through the hectic storm at all. The bartender held the door for her, bowing his head as she entered before pushing the door firmly closed. ”Miss Lily, you are back again! I thought I told you it was not safe to travel here in this weather?” The man would say, following her through the bar and pulling out a stool for her to take a seat. The woman would merely smile to the man, slowly dragging her nails down his arm. “And not come and see you my love? You know I could never.” her voice would be sickly sweet as she would laugh gently. The man grinned, blushing slightly, before hurrying behind the bar to pour her a drink, her usual gin and tonic. Turning around in her seat, Lilith’s gaze travelled over the others in the bar. At the far end two gentleman appeared to be deep in conversation with each other, but as her eyes landed upon them, their voices would start to raise. One stood, slamming his hands on the table in front of them whilst aggress

ively pointing his finger in his counterparts face. Both of their faces were growing red as they screamed at each other. Having served her drink, the bartender rushed over to split things up before an all out fight broke out. Sipping her drink with a smirk, the woman finally looked away, bringing her gaze to a stranger stood next to the jukebox, his back against the wall, a glass of whiskey in his hand. His eyes were trained back on the woman, and as she turned to him, he would lift his glass in greeting. He was smartly dressed, much better than the bars usual patrons. Gulping, Lilith downed her drink in one, slamming the glass on the table as she stood back up. The bartender was busy still with the bickering men at the back so didn’t notice as she headed towards the door to the back alley, nor as the man finished his drink quickly to follow her out. Once outside, Lilith rolled her shoulders while turning to the man. The alleyway seemed to be sheltered from the raging storm somehow, the air calm and still. Out of her spine, large blackened wings would extend either side, while the curled horns stretched from the front of her skull. The transformation took mere seconds, and by the time she had turned around the demon Lilith stood in the beautiful womans face. Her eyes were blackened, blue and grey veins decorating her pale skin. The man didn’t seem phased by this as he shrugged off his jacket.
18:47
”Today is your last day, foul demon!” the man would shout as white wings sprang from his back. He’d pull a blade from his hip, launching himself to her. Lilith merely side stepped him with a sigh. “You must be new here baby… you have no idea who I am… do you?” her head tilted to one side, watching as the man registered the fact he missed with confusion. He’d turn to her, but before he could do anything further she would be up against him, her arm across his chest at his throat, the tip of her own blade pressed to his chest. “I would really love to stay and play this little game but… I’m afraid you’d simply not be worth it.” she would purr to his ears. “However, if you do see Aasimar when you get home… let him know Lilith misses him won’t you?” And with her final word, she would plunge the blade into his chest. In an instant, the man evaporated into the air.

It was a realm that bridged the celestial and the earthly... a young civilization of angels that thrived, and Aasimar was their lord. It was commendable how much strength, skill and wisdom he had acquired during such early years and made his way up the hierarchy to stand atop among some of the finest contenders of the lordship. He had chosen this path of hardship. To be King, to look over and protect his fellows alongside ensuring a control and suitable dynamics of power over other worlds and it's matters was a responsibility only for the toughest. Constantly growing enemity from the demons of other realms was putting his political reputation and control in a negative light. The council sat for a discussion. Aasimar had to descend into the realm of humans again. The scrolls of prophecy were rolled out, and with that the entire council lowered their heads in silence.
It is foretold: that a king, though crowned in honor and glory shall be met with ordeals that shall shift the course of the realms. It is a time when the evil, fuelled by the winds of chance shall seem to hold an upper hand. For light to conquer, a lamp shall burn itself and embrace the darkness bringing clarity to the path.
"The realm of humans, it is in need of me. I'm only a mere King, it is not of my nature to neglect the happenings of another realm." A sigh from Aasimar before he looked towards the council members with a gaze of preparedness. Nodding his head to convey assurance as his eyes shut calmly while he sat at his throne, his arms crossed as his head rested back into the seat - easing himself through the stressful situation with his eyes still shut. And just in that very moment... A sharp, sorrowful pang struck his heart. And he knew something was awfully wrong.
12:53
He knew it, right in that instance. Swiftly he stood from his seat. Breathing heavy, rage in his eyes. He had felt it. The helplessness of his fellow angel. The twisted triumph of the cold hearted demoness. He sensed it all, even from afar. "He's gone..." Aasimar uttered in disbelief. Who was it? Having the strength to have done that to one of his fellow angels? He realised just how powerful and precise she must be with her attack. Aasimar's wings flunged out. They had the lustre of freshly fallen snow. Such raw strength in them, you could notice it just by his muscular back into which they stayed strongly embedded. You'd be in awe of his virility whenever he would rustle his feathers, shifting the wind around him.
12:55
The kingdom prepared for the farewell of its King. They all knew about the possibility that he might never return, but their eyes carried hope.
13:01
Aasimar descended down to the realm of humans, disguised and dressed to blend in among the mortals. What would confront him on this land, he was yet to realise.

Whenever a town was plagued with strong enough demonic energy (either a single powerful entity or large groups of lesser demons) they would experience storms like no other, and the sins of men would run rampant. Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth... and the closer a human was the source of that energy. The stronger the impact. However, If the balance shifted and a town was swallowed up into Celestial energy, the sun would shine brighter than it had ever shone before, warming the hearts of humans and bringing peace, love, happiness... And when both energy's were in the same place? Well... balance was restored and things were normal. That was why, when Aasimar landed back on earth, the storms cleared nearly instantly. The weather had settled into a mild evening, clear skies with a soft breeze. Lilith had just completed her transformation back into her more mortal form as she looked up, seeing stars where there had been clouds. She knew there was only thing that would have wiped her storm, or more specifically, only one angel who could have done so. A small wicked smirk played on her lips as she walked down the alleyway to come out the side of the bar. Looking up and down the street she could see humans finally venturing out from their homes now the storm had passed, but she couldn't see him. Her fingers flexed a little at her sides as she remained still a moment, she was sure he wouldn't have been far. Walking the pavements her heels clicked heavily on the hard stone floor. She passed a couple who were standing on the edge of the street, and her hand lifted briefly to brush over the top of the man's shoulders. Almost instantly he had turned to his partner, taking her face in his grips as he forced her to the nearby wall, silencing her cry with his lips as he was overcome with the desire to have her, then and there. A few good samaritans came running over the street to try and pull him from her. It was the distraction Lilith needed as it cleared

The whirling wind spoke of his presence in her vicinity. The disappearing storm made the city seem so silent, it was almost as if nature itself was holding it's breath. Aasimar stood calmly amidst the chaotically migrating crowd of mortals that were hurrying back to wherever they had to be. They wouldn't possibly notice that he was someone different. Although his tall stature did attract a few glances towards him, they hardly noticed his amber brown eyes that radiated, everytime the warm sunlight touched his face. It was the only part of him that remained in it's original form. The demoness had sly tricks up her sleeves for sure. But it wasn't like I was unaware of these amateur attempts. I witnessed and observed with clarity from amidst the crowd of people. Only an arrogant and self-consumed demoness could assume this would work. It was uncalled for - how the demoness made that man take the woman and use her right there against the wall, for his pleasure... While all those people were watching it just happen? Ofcourse the demoness had to be confronted. But this wasn't the right place for it. There were too many people to witness if anything were to unfold. Regardless, disclosing myself to an audience of mortals was against the principles. Aware of the demoness' pursuit, it was time to move a lot more into her vicinity. I knew the demoness' mouth would sense the taste of my presence from the air, even if I were to go a little closer than an arm's length from her, she'd instinctively turn her head to me. It was obvious that a demoness, regardless of her power would never reveal herself infront of the humans. And that here, was clearly working to my advantage. Swiftly walking past, I drop a feather - it takes its time to glide delicately down to the ground. The amber gaze, the scent and the feather. It was certainly hard to go unnoticed by someone with such a discerning and alert sight.
16:41
It was a moment, made of silent understanding which transcended even without an exchange of words. Would it intrigue her enough that she'd follow? Or would her rage unfold and an unfortunate event awaited everyone that were present in her vicinity?

Slowly, Lilith stepped along the street, her dark eyes going to each individual human as they moved about their day. The soft breeze in the calmer air rustled through the trees lining the street, and with it, that soft celestial scent. It would make the demoness freeze in her steps, closing her eyes to savour it for a moment. It had been a long time since she had had a worthy opposition challenge her, and though playing games with the humans would always be fun, she had to admit... she was getting bored of it all. Humans were always so predictable in their actions. Not like this would be. Suddenly her senses were overwhelmed as the scent no longer carried in on the breeze but surrounded her, he was close. Liliths stance shifted slightly in case he planned to attack, but, they were in the dim daylight of the evening in front of innocents. Even Lilith herself hadn't tempted breaking the veil, as her father would no doubt bring his wrath upon her for it - so there was absolutely no way an Angel would risk such a thing. A relatively smartly dressed man brushed past behind her, and the second the jacket touched her back she knew. There was no reaction immediately as she would look over her shoulder in the direction the guy had quickly walked down, she didn't want to give the game away after all, she wasn't sure if he had necessarily noticed her. Out the corner of her eye, a slight glint of white shifting in the breeze caught her eye. She would step over, leaning down to pick up the soft, white feather. Bringing it to her nose she would inhale deeply, the scent of the Angel making her shiver. There really was nothing to compare in her eyes, of which had very briefly flashed to their darker red colour as the feather tempted her to transform. Taking another deep breath, Lilith would part her lips, bringing the feather to her tongue for a taste. She had a few options on how to proceed - she could play the long game, move towns, tempt him to chase her down. Tha

t was always fun. Or she could go for the immediate satisfaction of hunting him now, embarrassing the fabled King to his rediculous Angel Army when he returns in less than an earth rotation, defeated and broken. Well now, that latter one practically made Lilith salivate over it. Closing her lips around the feather she would pull it through, tasting every inch before dropping it back to the ground. Her heels clicked as she moved to follow him through the streets. Once they had stepped out of the public gaze though, her speed would slow, hesitant incase he was planning to ambush her as she looked around. She could sense him, smell him, knew he was close. Her voice, seductive and deep, rang out into the evening air as she beckoned him. "Oh Aasimar... let's not play games now. We both know what you're here for... who you're here for. No need to be shy about it..." @Deleted User

My anticipation didn't hesitate to climb as I led you to follow me into that isolated glade, meandering through the narrow alley where the sounds of people faded away. I was much aware of the peril that I was dealing with, but I still wanted it. One mere slip of focus and it would all end wrong for the realm. But one right negotiation and there was hope. Yes, negotiation is what it was going to be, unless something more was destined to unfold. The nature of a demoness with a long history of inflated ego - I've seen enough of these to know well already that she would be nothing far from a brat. It was rather predictable as to what would pull onto her strings in the right way. I learnt a steady pace. I wanted to make sure you had your sight on me. Oh well... and so I did. I perceived your interest immediately as you touched the feather that I had dropped for your eyes to notice. I didn't think there was going to be more to it. Until you proved me wrong... The feather was a part of me. And, I sensed everything you did. I felt each moment of what you did. Does that mean she knew? It was too late to process how this was possible. The thoughts managed to cloud my mind for only a moment before I felt the warmth of your sinful mouth as you savoured the entire length of the feather on your wet tongue. I couldn't help it, my lips parted as I softly utter under my breath, "Mmh... She knows well, that it's me." I clenched my jaw as I held my focus, knowing you'd be on your way to me in just a few seconds. It was a tranquil space, leaves rustling in the soft breeze for a momentary respite. With gravel trail and patches of green, apart from the mud covered floor of the earth.
12:15
"Shy..? Ha ha..." I let out a soft chuckle as I sense the tone of those words you uttered with such twisted intent.
12:21
In response, I boldly used my words to playfully taunt you and test your temperament.

"Who said I intended on playing games, hmm? Games are only played if either side would have an opportunity to win. Here, your fate seems rather disappointing, don't you think?"

A smirk tugs my lips, "But I must say... , your deeds surely have an allure to them, don't they now?" I don't hesitate to compliment you as a bait before making sure to provoke you just enough to get a reaction out of you as I utter, "It is usually rare that a demon of your status to ever interest my presence anyway."

My tone was calm, and rather sanguine. Nothing would get a powerful demoness to bend vulnerably into curiosity more than a confident challenge from a cocky man who belonged to the realm that she existed to hate. And that was exactly what I was keenly seeking from you. An opportunity where you'd bend for me and let yourself be vulnerable for me and I would then just take you the way I want, making you submit to me just the way you should. (edited)

Liliths eyes scanned the surroundings carefully, checking for any mortals while she tried to discern Aasimars specific location. The area was somewhat beautiful, a small piece of nature amongst the sprawling city skylines, clearer air than the pollution that engulfed the streets. Lilith hated it. Hearing his voice a small smirk would tug at the corner of her lips, the sound allowed her to spot him now. Casting one final glance behind her she would be sure no mortals were heading in their direction before slowly, placing one foot in front of the other as she moved towards her. Each step would click like the second hand of a clock, and with each click Liliths transformations would take place. Her large, black wings would form and stretch from her back, just beneath her shoulder blades, as the curled black horns extended from her skull at the front of her hairline. The skin around her eyes blackened and spread, streaks forming across her skin as black as night. The whites of her eyes grew darker as her iris's would tint red. Slowly she would drag her tongue along her teeth, that had become pointed, feeling the sharpness of each one with a grin. At her hands, her nails would grow longer and fingers blacken too, that black stain spreading midway up her forearm to where it would break down, lining her veins just beneath the skin. The cockiness of his words were attempts to antagonise her into an ill thought out, impulsive attack in him - Lilith shook her head lightly, she was too old for such cheap tricks. Her transformation complete, she had no concerns of mortals stumbling upon them. A demon in demon form gave mortals that weird, bad thing feeling that seemed to make them change their mind about entering an area, like a sinking sense of dread. It would be enough to stop anyone entering for that evening at least. As she stepped to his eyeline, Liliths own gaze came to meet his. She didn't stop though, carefully and slowly beginning to walk in a circle around him.
13:13
His compliments of her actions made her smirk, giving a mocking mild curtsy to him in a brief pause. The comment regarding her status made her laugh. She knew what he was implying, but the statement itself was open enough for her to toy with. "No need to talk so bad of yourself Aasimar, I'm glad to see you acknowledge how far below me you are... but I'm happy to have your presence." Her walking would stop, turning herself to face him. She would raise her blackened finger to her lips, stroking lightly as her eyes looked him up and down. The way she had said his name was as if her voice was dripping with poison. She wanted to ensure he knew that she was aware of exactly who was standing before her. "After all, even a demonness enjoys playing with her food occasionally. All the others you've sent to me have been so lackluster, hardly worth the energy..." Her steps would recommence, bringing her gradually closer towards him now. click... click... click. "So tell me... are you going to be lackluster too?" @Deleted User

I patiently wait my turn while you ramble in self-praise like every other self-consumed demoness has a natural tendency to do. It was all so predictable. What was undeniable is - there was some tension between us for sure. "Ha, I'm aware that you were indeed happy to have my presence. I hope it was as gratifying for you as it was for me you were to find my feather back there. I must say, that was a nice welcome I got to have from you." Playing with your mind, I was exploring my options of how I wanted to do this with you. Hearing how you compared me to food that you would play with, I roll my eyes at you nodding my head condescendingly. "Tch- tch-" "You seem so skinny though? seems like you haven't been getting enough food these days huh?" Ofcourse, I had a devilish sparkle in my eyes. You were to blame afterall. I wasn't like that inherently. I was only giving you back what you threw at me. Wouldn't be my issue that you couldn't handle it. And just then, I knew it was my opportunity to make a show of my virility. It took only a split of a second for my entire skin to seem like it was bathed in some sort of a soft, golden light. It was just the radiance of my virility and powers! As I extended my arms, feeling the strength of my unfurled wings. The golden glow against my lush, white wings - it looked like sunlight shining over a snow capped mountain. And the breathtaking sound of my ruffling wings, sounded nothing far from an avalanche descending from that glacier of snow. With a smirk on my face, I uttered: "We both know that you wouldn't be standing here so interested if you thought I were lackluster. It rather seems like you love how you know that you can spend your hours with me?" My words definitely had a suggestive tone. Taunting you for how you had come to me and how I was gonna have you atleast for hours now. It was just my cheeky remark that hinted - no matter what it is that we chose to do, I'll be keeping you busy for hours.
16:39
I force a gust of wind towards you with my wings as I extend then entirely, just for your eyes to feast on them and realise the strength I have and the state that I would be leaving you in once I'm done with you.
16:41
My form was evident. Toned and sculpted overall, just what a demoness' eyes love to feast on.
16:44
My snow-like wings powered harshly, disturbing the wind. Such precise control in every movement. It takes one to know one ofcourse.

His comment on her form made Lilith laugh, shrugging her shoulders lightly as she responded. "Most of yours have learnt their place in this world and don't dare come to my current playground. It's a shame you didn't inform your new guy of that. He was so proud of himself for finding a Demon to vanquish. Shame he didn't last 2 minutes." She would take a deep breath, licking her tongue over her teeth again with a grin as she thought back to the Angel earlier, the one that had called Aasimirs presence to earth. She imagined he knew exactly who she had killed from amongst his guard - he struck her as someone who probably care about each of his soldiers. It made her sick. It was a sharp contract to Lilith who paid as little attention to her Demons running rampant on earth as she could - and they avoided her as much as the Angels did. Of course, it had been Aasimirs side killing hers that had made her rise to begin with. Not out of a sense of care, or a sense of duty, she just felt the need to teach his side a lesson about messing with the powers of hell, she wasn't going to sit back and let them walk all over them. Liliths walk would stop once Aasimir chose to transform though, smirking as she crossed her arms around her waist, shifting her weight over to one him as she waited. She made a point to turn her gaze to her nails, hand stretched out in front of her as if she was immediately bored by the impromptu show. His comment, said with such self conviction, would just make her roll her eyes in response. "Are you done? Perhaps I am just here to remind you that you aren't welcome here any more. This world is mine now. The humans are mine. And sending you crawling back to your hole will make sure every one of your flying rats realise that." Her tone was less playful now, less teasing, her face frowning now in aggression, a reaction to his more angelic form no doubt. They were both in their natural states now, which meant the gloves were off, the challeng

e set. He was trying to prove himself by lifting off the ground, and her eyes would indeed watch the feather falling. Walking forwards again she would catch it, but keep walking beneath him and behind so he would be forced to turn around if he wanted to keep her in his sights. "You're malting Aasimir, so tell me, are you sick or just getting old? I doubt you even have many more transformations in you no? Though... a featherless angel would be an amusing sight. Perhaps this time I'll take you back to my home and leave you on display for the others." She would drop the feather, allowing it to land on the dirt in front of her as she stepped her heels purposely on it. Her own wings were merely resting behind her, the tail end dragging a little on the floor from their size. She saw no need to take off yet, no need to show off, besides, they quivered at the ready to help her launch if he made the first move, which is exactly what she was taunting him for. She hoped to get under his skin enough - much like humans, Angels made rash, miscalculated decisions when they were angry she found. @Deleted User

He knew Lilith was going to bring that up. The insensitive demoness mocking the death of an angel who was Aasimars's close acquaintance! She had ended that angel's life for no reason! And she didn't even hesitate before doing so. It was clear, Lilith was just insecure of her grasp on the Earth. She feared losing control. And so, every possible thing that could be a threat to the demons and their territory, she wanted to eradicate with no attempt of rational thought. Aasimar had hoped that the demoness would have atleast a tad of what's called 'civility'. But it seems like the inclination towards causing chaos and destruction was consistent, no matter what hierarchy the demoness belonged to.

The way Lilith dared to mention about how easily and how quick she killed that angel. How she made remarks about his people. It made Aasimar wonder if it really was worth being the saint and having the patience to deal with someone as frustrating as her. All those other subordinate angels were merely anything as powerful as Aasimar. Every swift ruffle of his wings made the wind speak the tales of fate that many similar two-horned mere creatures have had to face before.

A part of him wanted to take her down right there on the ground. To make an arrogant demoness like Lilith get down on her knees and have her take a good taste of his raw strength. It was going to be effortless for him to show the demoness her real place. As she strutted past underneath him, he commented in a cheeky tone. "You're lucky you've come here alone. I pity your delusional ego that made you assume that this was going to be easy for someone as fragile as you. But hey, I don't discriminate. So, I'll be rough with you since that's what you're begging for..." He forcefully landed onto his feet, down on the ground. The impact made the ground rumble into cracks as the lighting roared in the skies. He turned to face her, his powerful wings still rhythmically beating like the call of a war drum. It was an announcement of what was coming.

Adding to the taunt, he continues uttering about how it would'nt have made any difference even if Lilith had other demons to help her in this situation. "It anyway is going to end for you the same way regardless. I wouldn't want others to get to watch while I'm having my private time with you. But if you're really into the idea of having an audience, then I won't object to it. I'm sure they wouldn't be able to take their eyes off the sight of their seemingly powerful demoness being taken and devoured by a man who is heir to the kingdom that every demon detests."

Lilith heard the thud as he came back to ground behind her now she had passed, but it was the flash of lightening as the clouds darkened above them that made her smirk. It showed that she had got under his skin, bringing the storm back to the city. Distant shouts could be heard as people rushed back to their homes, the calm of the evening having barely lasted them an hour. The rumble of thunder in wake of the lightening strike would have Lilith turn back towards him. His comment about being rough just made her utter one word, dripping with the sass and poison everything she said had been. "Promises..." Her wings would start to stretch open behind her now, the claws at their joint glinting in the fading light. Rain started to drop around them, but it barely made Lilith blink. She was watching him again, a small smirk still on her lips. His over confidence for dealing with her made her wonder one thing, but she would grant him her silence for now while he spoke, allowing him to voice his own misplaced belief that he was going to be successful. "Oh... you're going to devour me? I thought you were meant to be Angelic no? I'm not sure your... almighty... would approve of you adopting our styles now." She watched amused, though one hand had tucked behind her back to the hilt of her own blade she kept tucked between her wings. "I do wonder though... are you aware just who I am? I know you... I'll be disappointed if you haven't done your homework on me." Her steps started to go back towards the sides, towards the shade of a nearby tree to grant her some break from the water so it wouldn't impact her vision if he was to launch, plus the point gave her a better view of the alleyways surrounding the small park in case he was trying to delay so more of his own side would join - if he knew anything about Lilith, it would be that Demons avoided her as much as most of the Angels did, so a chance of one of hers showing up would be slim. @Deleted User

Her mere audacity to interpret his words of challenge with such filth, it spoke enough about what really prevails in a demoness' mind. "When you seek clarity with such interest, it seems more so like you crave a word of reassurance from me? Pfftt-" he scoffed at her, and ridiculed her assumptions. "you will see what exactly I meant when I said that. I am a man who has a reputation for keeping his word. So you can be certain about the fact that I do not utter words loosely. But isn't it so true how they say that - one must descend to the level of the adversary to confront them effectively." (edited)

Lilith was sly for sure but Aasimar's gaze was more alert than he would show it to be. Ofcourse it wouldn't go unnoticed how Lilith was oddly choosing to keep just one hand behind her? Away from Aasimar's sight?

Nevertheless, he was prepared. While simultaneously working on how exactly he could manage to strike the tree that she stood near, that was going to be the easiest of ways to catch her off-guard and use the heavy mass of that tree trunk to impact against her if she tried anything at all (edited)
