As she scooted slightly away from him he followed her movements, making sure he didn't stray too far from her, his eyes narrowing slightly at her, as if warning her to stop trying to escape. "Yes, help me with something" he spoke in a low voice, the venom leaving his tone, now an edge of danger replacing it. His gaze slowly traveled from her to her side, his head tipping slightly, trying to gauge wether he had broken her ribs or not. Hoping for the latter as he didn't want to cause anything that could harm her in the long term, after all, he couldn't have her out of commission if she accepted his offer.
"Don't leave me waiting" he spoke as he seen her contemplating, Ambrose was an inpatient man at best, never being able to wait long for things. Once she put her hand in his he helped gently lift her up, his touch oddly delicate to how he had treated her just a few minutes prior, as if she were fine china that could break at any moment. "You would live here, my manor is quite big with plenty of rooms... and if you do decide to accept, plenty of vampires to kill to your huntress hearts content." He said simply, not diving deeper into the topic than those simple words.
At her words a smirk overtook his face, bringing his cold hand up to tilt her head towards him, his fingers feasting under her chin, he leaned closer, his lips ghosting over hers before he moved his mouth closer to her ear. "Oh yeah? You wouldn't like being my 'pet'?" His warm breath fanning against her skin, his voice had noticeably dropped an octave, now deeper. "You forget vampires have heightened senses, I can smell you, huntress" he chuckled softly as he pulled away from her ear slowly, standing back up to his full height, tipping his head down slightly so he could look at her. He had her right where he wanted her.
"But no, you misunderstood me dear, I need your help, you see, I've had some rouge vampires lately, and I can't have that, who better to help me than the famous huntress herself?"
