Colbat The Neko Thief or “Kitty” In the sprawling metropolis of Neon City, where shadows danced with neon lights, there lived a notorious thief known as Ava Colbat. She was no ordinary thief, for she possessed the traits of a Neko—a human with feline characteristics. With her piercing green eyes, lustrous red hair, and delicate cat-like ears atop her head, Ava was an enigmatic figure who prowled the city's underbelly.

She was a virtuoso of the digital world, manipulating information to her advantage and leaving no trace of her presence. Her nimble fingers danced across keyboards, bypassing firewalls and encryption algorithms like a phantom in the night.

But Ava was not just a master of cyberspace; she was also a formidable combatant in close quarters. Trained in various martial arts and armed with her unique agility, she was a force to be reckoned with. Ava's lithe form allowed her to perform acrobatic feats and deliver lightning-fast strikes, leaving her adversaries disoriented and defeated. She used her environment to her advantage, leaping from rooftop to rooftop, evading capture with her exceptional dexterity. One of Ava's most notable abilities was her enhanced night vision. Her eyes possessed a keen sensitivity to even the faintest glimmers of light, allowing her to navigate in complete darkness. This nocturnal advantage made her a formidable opponent during nighttime heists, where others would falter in the absence of light. In the criminal underworld, Ava was both feared and admired. Her reputation as a cunning thief spread far and wide, leaving a trail of perplexed authorities in her wake. But despite her illicit activities, Ava had her own moral code. She targeted corrupt corporations and wealthy individuals who exploited the innocent, using her skills to hack their systems and take their money One moonlit night, while perched on a high-rise ledge overlooking the city, Ava received a message on her encrypted communication device. It was a voice she recognized all too well—an informant who had proven invaluable in the past. Velm "Hello, Ava," the voice whispered. "I have a lead on something big—a treasure hidden away in the heart of the city. But be warned, the security surrounding it is unlike anything you've faced before." Ava's eyes gleamed with anticipation. "Tell me more," she replied, her voice filled with a mix of curiosity and determination.. only got Velm to say to meet in person, more specifically the “hideout”. With a confident smile, Ava leaped into the night, her agile form disappearing into the darkness to meet Velm.

Neon City had it's fair share of thieves, hitmen, and villains. However, Velm Arack seemed to stand himself out as a true ominous presence among even the dirtiest of men. An exceptional Entomancer, Velm Arack first accepted the pact at a young age to allow his first insect to nest within his body. Velm is best known for his incredible infiltration skills, a naturally spider-like movement allowed him to quickly get to otherwise impossibly reached places. He was also known for his army of spiders that helped him complete his missions. He could communicate with them via telepathy and this led to many successful heists where Velm didn't have to leave his room. Skilled in many ways of dispatching his enemies, Velm was most interested in long range assassination, or up close and personal stealth takedowns. His spiders could often leave a person dead in seconds, either from poison or a bloody consumption of an unsuspecting guard. He was also well skilled in his intimidation and his ability to con and bluff his way to his objective. Up his sleeve, Velm boasts one more incredible ability. Being confident in looks, he doesn't quite care for it but makes frequent use of his shapeshifting. Being able to become another person he has seen before, he typically completes missions without needing to shed blood. When the time comes though, Velm more than welcomes violence. In the criminal underworld, most men don't really know if Velm is real. He's only known in the circle as Black Venom, seeing as the wounds the spiders leave causes a black puss to escape the body. He's whispered about, but no one can truly confirm if he's real or not. One moonlit night, Velm sent Ava a little message. There was something big on the horizon, and years of them doing crime together could finally pull something really worth the effort. With a sly smirk, Velm sat in his web, waiting for Ava to arrive as the spiders began to escape from under his trenchcoat. @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

Ava would quietly walk down the hallway, her footsteps quiet like mice, the perks of being a neko was nobody could hear her coming, she was as quiet as the wind. Her body flexible as she’d squeezed through the narrowest ways.. and then walking into an open alleyway isolated by many building.. the only way to access it was the squeeze through the tiny opening. As Ava approached she glanced up seeking Velm sitting on his web, his spiders crawling around as Ava shuddered in disgust “I can’t believe you like spiders..” she say smacking a spider off her shoulder, her body quivering in fear and disgust “So.. why did you want to meet up Hm?” she’d question her tail flickering around curious @untilthenewera

As Velm saw Ava approach, he felt a little tingle in his chest. She was a very beautiful woman, and such an incredible thief. One of the only people who actually knew he existed, and kept the secret like a promise. Velm climbed down the web as the spiders began to crawl towards him, up his body and out of sight. "I didn't necessarily pick spiders, but I'm not opposed to them darling." Velm offered his hand to you. "It's excellent to see you Miss Colbat. Are we going to be all business this time? I actually got my hands on a nice bed just in case you didn't like the web." Velm lets a small snicker escape him as a half smirk half smile beams from his face. @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

Ava shivered watching the spiders leave.. as she’d chimed “well I’m very opposed to them..” she sneer as she’d scrunched her face in disgust looking at him offer his hand to her.. hesitant she’d grab it “You as well.. Mr Arack..” shed awkwardly say, unsure why he was being so formal, as she’d smirked “we’re always business…” she’d purr, laughing a bit as she’d remove her hand “that so..? I’d much rather prefer a bed than your web.. let’s keep it professional shall we?” she’d say as she’d wait for him to guide her to the bed “I’m so glad you bought me a bed.. shows how much you love me” shed tease @untilthenewera

"You'll only get me to admit that when we don't have to work anymore." Velm laughed softly as he went up to a part of the wall. A spider climbed out from the collar of his coat and made it's way up the wall, climbing into a very small hole. "Any good work on your end? I'm adding about 6000 credits today, and we will see what my side projects have brought." Velm smiled softly and then punched what appeared to be 12 or more digits into an unmarked keypad. The wall clicked and Velm quickly pushed through into his hidden apartment. "Complicated one today." @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

“I can’t wait for that day to come..” shed hum “I’ll be sure to bring my recorder too record you saying that, and have that as my new ringtone” she’d taunt as continued to walk “Only 6000?! Tch.. I got 8000 and that’s from dirty work, if you catch my drift” shed wink nudging him, the one think about Ava is she’d do almost anything to get a kill, wether it be luring them to her… making out with them etc etc. her favorite antic was to slip a pill into the persons mouth via her tongue if they were making out.. as she’d watch him punch number into the keypad, waiting for what felt like forever before the walk clicked as he’d push the wall revealing his hidden apartment as Ava stepped in, her tail swaying as she’d glanced around “Oh? "Spider had to dismantle my security system 70 times before the firewall would shut down for longer than a second." Velm's apartment was surprisingly clean and well furnished. Gothic architecture adorned the living room they found themselves in, complete with a small kitchenette attached that appeared to see frequent use. Velm entered and removed his shoes, placing them in a small vaccum which sucked them away. He then headed around the corner to the left to enter his planning room. "You and your dirty work. How do you expect me to want to kiss a mouth that even I can't trace?" Velm snickered, knowing damn well he's done just as bad or worse to secure a heist or a kill. @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

“70 Times holy hell! That just have been a record.. what where you trying to get into that required such high security technology” the cat questioned as she’d take her heels off, leaving them in the front as she walked further into the room, sitting down on the couch as her tail flickered, watching him head to his planning room Ava scoffed as she chimed “I don’t expect you to kiss this mouth , easy” she’d chuckle laying her head back on the pillow letting her head slowly sink into the pillow, closing her eyes and smiling. It felt good to just relax “What were you and spider trying to steal?” she’d semi shout to get his attention @untilthenewera

Velm quickly typed on a computer and turned the screen so she could see. "This." The picture was a USB drive with a skull implanted in the side of it. "Skeleton Drive. Plug it into something with data on it, it auto extracts all of it. Firewalls can't stop it, hacking can't beat it, and it already has millions of credits worth of data." *Velm turned to Ava." "We'd be finished forever." @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

The cat would glance up to the screen, her eyes narrowed as she’d see the USB drive with the skull implanted raising a skeptical brow as she’d turn her attention back to him as he spoke “What kind of credits are we taking?” she questioned folding her arms, the thought of being out the game was nice, to an extent she loved being all mysterious and sneaky but at the same time she was always living in fear thinking one day she’d be caught, so when he said they be done forever was somewhat comforting.. she was baffled between her choices as she’d waltz over to him looking on his computer “Right then.. where is this located?” @untilthenewera

"That's the problem. All that's publicly known is it was developed by someone named Pixel Bomb. It's spelled all weird." Velm pulls up a picture posted by someone named PiXLbOm!! Of a masked figure holding the drive. "From what I gather he's digging up dirt on anyone relevant and collecting it to sell to the highest bidder." @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

“What a dumb name…” Ava snickered as her tail flickered around intrigued already, crossing one leg over the other as she leaned forward a bit “Oh..? Is that so? Well who’s up and coming? "Agreed. At least when I changed my name I went with something a bit... classier." Velm turns the display off. "That I don't know... but I have an idea on how to find out. Those flash drives come with an auto warranty for cyber security. Brand is called Mela. We're going to break into their server room. Tonight." Velm moved to his equipment and began taking inventory. “hah! Classier like what “Vector” or whatevr..” Ava snorted as she layed her head back on the couch as he turned the display off listening to his plan “And how exactly do you plan on breaking into their server room..” she hum lifting her head up watching him prep his gear.. raising a brow “what do you mean it’s been awhile since we’ve had a proper date .. we arnt even dating you fucker…” @untilthenewera

"Never said we were." Velm grabs a number of little spheres. "The idea is I am going to access the building through a vent system. I'm going to get up there my way. You will be entering the building through either a side entrance or a window or a guard's penis. Whichever you plan to approach with." Velm puts the spheres in a sack and tosses them to you. “just thought I’d make it clear..er” she smiled her tail flickered around as her pupils grow bigger watching him grab the number of little spheres intrigued for some odd reason. As she listened to his plan “Ugh! Hey hey hey! Only I can say that shit not you” Ava hissed “now that you ruined that fun I guess I’ll go through a window” shed grumbled annoyed “What are you going to throw first? Black or Silver- ah wait before you answer that shouldn’t we wait until midnight to do this!? So you know. Less people..” @untilthenewera

"Did you miss the part where I said three hours prep? C'mon Kitty... I think a little more than that." Small troves of spiders began entering the room and disappearing into Velm's clothes as he began looking over files on his computer. "I would probably throw the smoke first. "Excellent. Let me know if you have any more questions, or if you want to make use of that bed I bought for you. It wasn't cheap." Velm has spiders bring in two glasses and a bottle of wine.
