Saturday, April 17th, 2023, time: 6:13am It was like any other morning a cold and chilly one, slightly misty outside a sold 55° as River would be walking to the farm to tend to the crops, the harvestmoon clan was known for their agricultural products and aspects, a more simple minded werewolf clan, kind sweet and collective unlike the Nightshade clan. In fact the two clans could have never been polar opposite, never getting along, always heading butts whenever they ran into each other. Due to different perspectives however never has a fought broke out, perhaps today is the day it all changes. River would be dressed in jeans and a crop sleeve that perked up her breasts nicely, thanks to the blood in her she was naturally always warm so she loved the cold weather and never minded it once. Especially rain, she loved the way it felt on her skin Upon reaching the field River would begin checking up on crops as well as tending and preparing others for the weather to come, humming a simple song to herself, not expecting you to come along this early morning. Her ears perked up sensing him nearby as her head turned, she was carrying a big ole woven basket with wheat in it, her eyes narrowed. An enemy was approaching. River was one of the harvestmoon who never ran into a nightshade clan member, purposely avoiding them all she couldn’t but now, clearly, she couldn’t. Her senses heighten as she was on edge, clearly curious as to what your intentions where this early morning…. @rey0.0 hope this okay 🫶🏼

Orion Bloodmoon, the leader of the Nightshade Clan, Orion was dressed in simple, dark clothing that showed off his muscular physique. He wore a plain black tank top that clung to his chest revealing his impressive build. His black jeans were torn at the knees, had been walking towards the Harvestmoon Clan's farm with a sly agenda. He had known that the Harvestmoon werewolves were known for their kind and trusting nature, and he planned to take advantage of this to benefit his own clan. As he neared the farm, he noticed River, one of the Harvestmoon werewolves, tending to the crops. He couldn't help but admire her natural beauty and the way her crop sleeve accentuated her curves. He adjusted himself making sure that he looked his best, and approached her with a charming smile. "Good morning, River," he said in a suave voice. "I hope I'm not interrupting your work." He could sense her unease, but he maintained his calm and collected demeanor, hoping to win her over with his charm. "I come in peace," he added, flashing her a dazzling smile. "I merely wish to talk." @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧ (edited)

The werewolf snarled quietly, it sounded a bit childish as she’d lower her woven basket cocking her head slightly staring at the Alpha, she recognized him, Orion bloodmoon.. she bit her lip knowing that she had to show some respect due to his status. As rivers eyes gazed down to analyze his build “Hmp… Alpha Orion..” she spoke softly gazing back into his eyes, her eyes where a soft blue usually calm but she gave a cold icy look at him. The pure definition of it looks could kill, you’d be a dead man “What is it you’d like the talk about” she spoke now with curiosity raising a brow as she straighten her head holding it up high, so he knew she was on guard. She was ready to strike at any moment “any why me.. and not with the Alpha of my clan..” she ask, River was merely a member a low ranking one none the less @rey0.0

Orion noticed the cold look in River's eyes, and it only made him more intrigued. He found her steel edge enticing, a sign of strength that he respected in a fellow werewolf. "Ah, I see you're as sharp as your name suggests, River," he said with a smirk. "I came to speak with you because I've heard of your clan's reputation for being kind and trusting. And I must say, I find your no-nonsense attitude quite refreshing." He paused for a moment, taking in her beauty as he continued. "I also couldn't help but notice your natural grace and strength. You're quite impressive River. I have a feeling you could be of great help to our clan." @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

“Your clan?!” she’d scoff standing her ground. His charming words did make her flattered as he could see her tail sway ever so slightly to his compliments of her, but none the less it wouldn’t let her affect her decision “Thank you Alpha Orion for your kind words but..I’ll have to decline on your offer to join your clan” she spoke snarling quietly. Why her of all people? He barely knew her and was making. A huge offer “I stay loyal to my clan, so I advice you go before I call for my people to take care of you” she’d say a bit coldly, or well tempting too as she was never the one for violence, she usually never engaged in violence or spoke so rudely to a person but she wanted to put on a “tough” act for him to show she was serious @rey0.0

Orion noticed the icy tone in River's voice, but it didn't faze him. In fact, he seemed to welcome the possibility of conflict. "Oh, I'm not afraid of a little confrontation, River," he replied, a sly grin forming on his lips. "In fact, I might even enjoy it. But nonetheless I'm not here to make enemies. I simply want to extend an invitation for our clans to be joined." He took a step closer to her, his eyes glinting with a mischievous gleam. "Think about it, River. Your clan could benefit greatly from the strength and resources of the Nightshade Clan. And with you by my side, we could make quite the team." "I must warn you, River," Orion continued, his voice lowering to a dangerous whisper. "Don't make the mistake of calling your people. I assure you, it will not end well for them." He took another step closer, his eyes never leaving hers. "I see potential in you, River. You're strong and independent and someone who doesn't back down from a fight, I admire that." @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧ (edited)

River furrowed her brows, the smirk didn’t sit right with her as she began to back up slowly being more cautious now “well I’m declining that offer.. you may offer it to another wolf” as he take a step closer to her Rivers eyes widen slightly as she’d step back, was he trying to close the distance between the two. She’d gaze up looking at his eyes. The way it looked it screamed danger as River would softly whimper looking around for any weapon as she’d grabbed her gardening Hoe and clutched onto it for dear life “Even so… our clans are like day and night! And why me by your side I-I am nothing but a humble farmer w-wouldn’t you want someone who is also of power like a beta? Delta!? Or maybe someone who can potentially be your Luna?” River quietly said As her ears perked hearing the tone of his whispers “I don’t need to call my p-people yet I-“ she’d cut herself off gulping as he stepped closer.. closing the distance as she was frozen in fear to move “y-your compliments mean nothing to me n-now leave me alone!” she’d growl as she’d smack him with the garden Hoe and began running like the wind through the forest @rey0.0

Orion's heart pounded with excitement as he watched River's eyes widen with fear. He knew he had her right where he wanted her. The glint in her eye and the trembling in her voice only made him more intrigued. As she reached for the gardening hoe, Orion knew he had to tread carefully. He couldn't let his guard down for even a moment, but he also couldn't let her slip through his fingers. But before he could even react, River swung the tool at him with incredible speed. Orion's reflexes kicked in as he narrowly dodged the blow, but not without feeling the sharp sting of the metal on his cheek. His hand flew to his face, feeling the warmth of his own blood. It was a sensation he hadn't felt in a long time, and he relished in it. He had forgotten what it was like to feel pain, and it only fueled the dark desire within him. As he recovered from the shock of the hit, Orion couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for River's strength and quick reflexes. She had surprised him, and he knew that he couldn't underestimate her again. His smile widened as he watched River disappear into the forest. He could feel the power pulsing through his veins, and it only made him more determined to bring her into his fold. "Quite the swing, River," he called out after her, his voice laced with a hint of malice. "But don't think you've seen the last of me." His voice echoing through the trees. Orion knew that he had to have her. Her strength and ferocity were exactly what his clan needed. He would stop at nothing to make sure she joined them, even if it meant using force. As he walked away from the scene, his mind raced with plans and schemes. He knew that the next encounter with River would be crucial, and he was ready to do whatever it took to make sure she became one of his own. @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

needed, stealth, to hide her self as she was hearing a black hoodie to blend into the night and black leggings.. setting afoot to the dark forest, an area where nobody dares go step foot in until needed. She had an uneasy feeling being here.. on edge the enter time as she had a sensation that Orion was still watching her, she again felt shivers just thinking about hearing his voice. She jumped back hearing a rustle in the bush only for a small bunny to jump out as River would drastically sigh “great he’s all in my head now…” @rey0.0

Orion's senses were heightened as he followed River's scent back to her clan's cave. He moved stealthily through the forest, taking care to make no sound as he approached. As he drew closer, he could smell the unmistakable scent of blood. His heart quickened with excitement as he realized this smell. It was one he had grown fond of. He had hoped that River's clan put up a fight, but he had never expected this level of carnage. When he arrived at the entrance to the cave, his eyes widened at the sight before him. The cave was littered with blood and gore, and the walls painted with the splatters of it. As Orion surveyed the carnage, he heard the soft footsteps of his fellow clan members approaching. He turned to face them, his eyes gleaming with a sinister glint. "Well done," he said, his voice laced with a mix of admiration and cruelty. "You have truly outdone yourselves this time." The other members of his clan nodded in agreement, their faces twisted in cruel grins as they surveyed the destruction. Orion's eyes narrowed as he listened to the story of how River's clan member had become feral and attacked their own kind. “The transformation potion I had you use worked then.” he whispered to his fellow clan members. “I knew the potion would make them go feral…but this.. I could of only hoped it went this well sewing the seeds of chaos into their clan.” He said riling up the members of his clan with each word. “Shhh.. she can’t know where here it will only make it more difficult.” He snarls at his fellow members. “And in this chaos river will be mine”.. thinking back to the way she had made him feel. Touching his face where river had cut him and smiling with a twisted grin.

Orion looks on his members and says in a commanding unwavering voice “Now we wait and see where she goes from here. Once she leave I will follow her. You all know the the rest of the plan.“ Orion turns to look towards the entrance of the cave as his members follow his lead. They watch on through the night. and as River leaves the cave he signals his clan that’s he’s going after her. Orion slipped out of the shadows, following River's path through the forest with ease. He stayed a safe distance away, moving stealthily from tree to tree, tracking her every move. He could hear the soft rustle of her footsteps as she walked, the occasional snap of a twig underfoot. Her scent was strong, leading him like a trail of breadcrumbs through the forest. @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

This drove her insane so much so she wanted to rip her own nose off! “Fuck why can I still *smell him..” she’d mumble like a paranoid not knowing it was true he was in fact following her as River continued her so call “walk” the sun rose the sky freckled in all sorts of beautiful colors, as she stop to just admit it and take a break , but this time it was already quarter to 7 and she’s been none stop moving. The smell of him and the smell of blood lingered as she rubbed her head processing the scenery she walked into earlier that night as tears built up on her face as she couldn’t help but cry. Her family , her home all gone in matters of Minutes as she’d wipe her face and sniffle getting back up— only to hear a snap of a stick only loudly.. to loud to be some animal unless it was a Fox or a werewolf in her track as River jumped off the stump. A low growl echoing as she’d look around her surroundings she’d smell the air and only caught his sent.. the blood the flowers everything seemed to be washed away overpowered by his.. as she shout “WHERE ARE YOU!” followed by a louder growl and her claws extending “I Know YOUR FOLLOWING ME SHOW YOUR SELF!” she’d say not actually expecting him to respond. She sounded like a mad man, as she’d pivoted facing the direction he was in.. in hopes he would reveal himself One minute of silence passes Shed keep a quiet growl as her claws went back in— was she hallucinating? Dreaming? She was very sleep deprived as she’d snarl looking away. Why was he on her mind?! Orion watched with a mixture of amusement and satisfaction as River's frustration and desperation grew. He observed her outburst, her claws extended and her demanding shouts echoing through the forest. It was a sight that pleased him, for it revealed her vulnerability and her desperate need to escape his presence. As River turned away, her growls subsiding, Orion seized the opportunity. With a silent, predatory grace, he stepped out from his hiding place, his figure imposing and his eyes fixed on her. Your not going crazy, River," he spoke through a sly smile, his voice dripping with a twisted satisfaction. "I have been watching you, your tenacity and unwavering spirit is one I admire. It's the fight in you." Orion closed the remaining distance between them, his presence suffocating, radiating dominance and power. His gaze locked onto River's, his eyes gleaming with a sinister intensity. "Your family gone, your clan in ruins," he taunted, his voice dripping with sadistic pleasure. "You're all alone now, River. Orion watched with dark amusement as River reacted to his presence with hostility and defiance. Her growls reverberated through the air, and he relished in the display of her fierce spirit. It only fueled his desire to break her will and mold her into a loyal companion. As River backed up against the tree, Orion closed the distance between them, his steps deliberate and confident. The light bathed his figure in an ethereal glow, casting eerie shadows across his face. His eyes, filled with a predatory gleam, remained fixed on her, searching for any signs of weakness. He could sense her desperation, her attempts to maintain a facade of strength despite the fear lurking in her eyes. It only intrigued him further, the delicate balance between vulnerability and defiance. The tension in the air was palpable as they stood face to face, two forces on a collision course. "Why am I following you?" he repeated, his voice low and taunting. "Because, my dear River, you captivate me. There's a raw power within you that I find irresistible. I want to harness that power, and show you what you are capable of River." Orion's face contorted with a mix of anger and satisfaction as River spat in his face. The warmth of her saliva lingered on his skin, a defiant act that both angered and thrilled him. He wiped away the spittle with a slow, deliberate motion, his eyes never leaving hers. "You think your clan matters? You think you're not alone?" he hissed, his voice filled with cruel amusement. "Your clan is in ruin, River, and you're standing here, isolated, with no one to protect you. You can deny it all you want, but the truth is right in front of you."

As River declared her refusal to join him, Orion's smile widened, a cruel and twisted expression. He reveled in her defiance, in the fire that burned within her despite her vulnerable state. It only made him want her more. Orion's gaze shifted to his bleeding hand, the wound inflicted by River's feral bite. He felt pleasure mingled with the pain, a twisted sensation that sent shivers down his spine. He watched as she recoiled, her realization of her own feral actions washing over her. "You've shown me your teeth, River," he said, his voice low and dangerous. “Your momentary act of defiance will only make the inevitable submission all the more thrilling." "But, Very well River," he responded to her his voice dripping with both malice and a glimmer of opportunity. "If you want your clan to be spared, if you want their safety, then come with me, River, and I will ensure their survival. Refuse, and they will continue to suffer the consequences of your defiance." A wicked smile curled at the corners of Orion's lips as he licked the blood from his wounded hand, savoring the taste. The metallic tang mingled with his dark desires.

She’d run her tongue along her teeth. Annoyed. As he spoke she looked back up to him. Something wasn’t adding up.. she felt like she was sighing up for more than she thought, or he was hiding something from her… as River was hesitant As a minute passes River looked around and heavily sighed taking the Alphas hand and shook it once before letting his hand go and growled quietly looking away from him as she spoke “Take..me.. to your.. den” she spoke between her teeth. Orion's smirk widened at River's reluctant compliance. He could sense her inner turmoil, the conflict between her pride and her desperate need for protection. It amused him to see her struggle, to witness her grudging acceptance of her new reality. Forced to acknowledge her own vulnerability. As River hesitated, Orion's eyes narrowed ever so slightly. He could see the gears turning in her mind, the flicker of suspicion in her gaze. She was beginning to question his true motives, sensing that there was more to this arrangement than met the eye. He savored her uncertainty, relishing the anticipation of revealing the extent of his plans. Without breaking eye contact, Orion nodded in satisfaction as River finally took his hand, their brief shake sealing their twisted pact. Her growled words resonated in the stillness of the forest, a testament to her inner resistance and lingering defiance. He admired her spirit, even if it was now forced to bend to his will. "Very well, River," he responded with a tone of feigned congeniality, his voice laced with a hidden satisfaction. "I will take you to my den, where you will find safety, for now." Orion gestured for her to follow as he turned, leading the way deeper into the heart of the forest. The air grew cooler and damp, the earthy scent of the underground permeating the surroundings. They descended into a hidden grove, where a narrow opening in the ground revealed the entrance to a concealed cave.
07:29
As they entered the cave, the darkness enveloped them, the only source of light emanating from scattered luminescent fungi clinging to the damp walls. The passage twisted and turned, leading deeper into the earth, its uneven floor echoing their footsteps. Orion glanced back at River, his eyes glinting with a mixture of anticipation and dominance. "Welcome to your temporary sanctuary," he declared, his voice a low rumble in the cave's confines. "Within these walls, you will be protected, but make no mistake, River, you are under my watchful eye." They arrived at a spacious chamber, where a soft glow from a central pool of bioluminescent water cast an ethereal ambiance. The walls were adorned with symbols, hinting at the dark power that resided within. This was Orion's domain, a hidden stronghold deep beneath the surface, a sanctuary built for those who dared to defy convention. Orion turned to face River, his features partially illuminated by the soft glow. "Remember, River you are our guest here no one will harm you.” he murmured, his voice filled with an unsettling mix of promise and threat. Orion led River deeper into the cave, navigating the labyrinthine passages with a surefooted grace. The air grew cooler and the sound of dripping water echoed through the cavernous corridors. Finally, they reached a secluded part of the cave where a heavy curtain of moss and vines concealed a hidden entrance. With a sweeping gesture, Orion pulled aside the curtain, revealing a small chamber bathed in a soft, ambient glow. The room was modest but comfortable, adorned with furs and cushions arranged neatly on the rocky floor. A gentle breeze carried the scent of the forest into the space, mingling with the earthy aroma of the cave. "This is your room, River," Orion announced, his voice resonating in the intimate space. "Here, you will find solitude and respite from the outside world. No one will disturb you here."
07:29
He stepped aside, allowing River to enter the room, her eyes scanning the surroundings cautiously. A low, flickering fire danced in a stone hearth, casting a warm glow that illuminated the chamber. “Stay here I have some pressing matters to attend to with the rest of the pack I will make them aware of your presence” Orion spoke with a commanding and now gentle tone as to keep his voice from echoing throughout the cavern. With that, he turned to leave, the curtain falling back into place behind him. As he retreated into the shadows, the sound of his footsteps faded into the distance, leaving River alone in her new abode. @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

It was nicely done, cute actually as she turned her head back slightly as Orion began speaking about her room "its cute.." shed say as she walk in further "good to know nobody will disturb me.." as shed swivel on her heels as he spoke about his urgent matters, River slightly nodded, she knew she wasnt going to stay in this room for long "Okay.. thank you" she say with a kind smile as she watched him turn his back to her and began leaving, River waited until she couldnt hear his footsteps. and began walking to the curtain pulling it back, she was curious as she left the room and began exploring the cave and the area around her she follow the sounds of the water dripping and found herself in a small area secluded area where there would be a pond, she looked up seeing the water fall from the crystalized rock "fuck... what did I get myself into.." she mumble to herself as she sit down on the floor resting her head on her hand "Atleast I know where their cave is.. and can escape anytime I need to.." she say to herself quietly @rey0.0

Orion, having left River in her room, made his way deeper into the cave. The sound of her footsteps faded behind him as he ventured into the dimly lit corridors. The weight of his responsibilities settled upon him like a cloak as he contemplated the game he had set in motion. His mind buzzed with a mix of anticipation and intrigue. River's presence in his den brought a new dynamic, a flicker of something unfamiliar within his carefully crafted world. He couldn't deny the lingering sensation of her defiant spirit, her unwavering determination to maintain her sense of self despite the circumstances. As he walked, his thoughts swirled around the delicate balance he needed to strike. River was not a mere pawn; she was a wild card that held the potential to either enhance or disrupt his plans. The taste of power was addicting, and he relished in the control he held over her. But he also recognized the danger of underestimating her, for a cornered wolf could be a formidable adversary. Reaching a secluded chamber deep within the cave, Orion came to a halt. He stood in silence, his senses attuned to the whispers of the shadows, the ancient whispers that echoed through the cave walls. This place was sacred to him, a sanctuary where he honed his craft and communed with the forces that governed his existence. As he closed his eyes, his mind delved into the depths of his memories, the echoes of his past. He recalled the days of his rise, the battles fought, the alliances forged, and the sacrifices made. The weight of his role as Alpha pressed upon him, a responsibility he shouldered with pride and cunning. But amidst his reflections, he couldn't shake off the presence of River. She had infiltrated his thoughts, her image interwoven with the tapestry of his plans. There was something about her tenacity, her defiance, that stirred a twisted fascination within him.

Orion's footsteps echoed through the chamber as he made his way towards the heart of his den, where his loyal clan awaited. The air grew heavy with anticipation as he approached the gathering, the scent of his comrades filling his nostrils. The cave chamber was dimly lit, illuminated by the soft glow of bioluminescent fungi scattered across the walls. The members of his clan, a mix of fierce warriors and cunning strategists, were gathered in a semicircle, their eyes fixed on their Alpha as he entered. Silence fell over the chamber as Orion took his place at the center, his presence commanding respect and attention. His gaze swept across the faces of his clanmates, their expressions a mix of curiosity and expectation. "I bring news," he began, his voice resonating with authority. "A new member has joined our ranks, albeit involuntarily." A subtle smile curved his lips as he relished the intrigue his words stirred. He continued, recounting the encounter with River, carefully choosing his words to convey her defiance and the potential threat she posed. He spoke of her determination to find those responsible for her clan's demise, her eagerness to prove her worth despite her solitary existence. "She is a wild card, a wolf driven by a burning desire for vengeance," Orion stated, his voice carrying a mix of caution and admiration. "But make no mistake, she is under our protection. She has agreed to abide by our rules, for a time." His clanmates exchanged glances, their thoughts shrouded in a mixture of curiosity and skepticism. Orion's ability to see potential where others saw only danger had earned him their trust, but they remained vigilant, their loyalty to their Alpha unwavering. "We shall keep a watchful eye on her," Orion declared, his voice tinged with a warning. "River may prove to be an asset to our cause, but we must also be prepared for any unforeseen consequences."

As the murmurs of discussion filled the chamber, Orion's gaze narrowed, his eyes locking with each member of his clan. They understood the gravity of the situation, the delicate balance they must maintain in the presence of this newfound wildcard. "Let it be known," he concluded, his voice carrying a finality that brooked no argument, "River is both an opportunity and a test. Together, we shall navigate these uncharted waters and emerge stronger." With a nod of approval from his clan, Orion turned and made his way back towards his chamber. @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

River in the meanwhile would have been exploring these treacherous caves, trying to navigate her way around. shed accidently stumble upon another members room as shed quickly apologize, only for that member to growl lowly at her with disgust. She gulp as shed then continue to wonder like a lost puppy just trying to find Orion. She knew she had to be careful, this wasn't her territory anymore Her ears were perked as she was on high alert her tail swaying around anxious as she began to semi-shout "Orion.." her voice filled with curiosity and worrisome. For some reason she hated being alone here, she felt more scared without Orion Shed then stumble upon the main room where his scent grew stronger. River looked around seeing the other pack members stare at her with hatred "E-excuse me.. Im looking for Al-" "shut it newbie" a member would speak pushing their way to the front looking down at River snarling "excuse me?!" shed respond back with the same snarky attitude folding her arms, staring daggers, she wasnt afraid of a fight if she needed to fight, but she knew it would be best to just not cause one "Im just looking for Alpha Orion" "On what cause hmp?" the werewolf spoke as hed back her up into the wall pinning her, growling lowly as hed put his claw on her cheek, slowly digging it into her skin and scratching down as shed start to bleed, shed wince only slightly as River growled and kicked the werewolf off her "Clearly, he didnt tell you about me now did he" River would grab the werewolf by their neck and slam them into a wall, her eyes glowing yellow "I wont ask again, where is he" As the werewolf would smirk nudging his head "he left to his chambers" As River would drop the werewolf and left, following his scent, blood dripping down as shed finally appraoch his Chamber she spoke "Alpha Orion?" River would say leaning on the door way looking at him with an annoyed expression

Orion's eyes softened as he took in the bloodied gash on River's cheek. A flicker of concern crossed his face before he composed himself, stepping closer to her. His voice carried a sincere tone, laced with genuine remorse. "River, I deeply apologize for the harm that befell you. It was never my intention for you to face such aggression within our pack. I assure you, I will personally see to it that those responsible are dealt with accordingly." His eyes glimmered with a mixture of admiration and amusement as he continued, a playful smirk playing at the corners of his lips. There was a glimmer of mischief in his eyes as he added, "Though, I do hope you went east on that wolf. Your temper is well-known, and it's rather entertaining to witness." He chuckled softly, a genuine warmth in his voice. “Your tenacity and resilience are remarkable, River you never fail to impress with your unwavering spirit and lack of fear.” Orion's gaze remained locked with River's, conveying a sense of sincerity and concern. "But do not mistake my amusement for disregard of your well-being. I want you to understand that our pack can be unpredictable, and not everyone appreciates defiance as much as I do. Your safety remains my utmost priority." He extended his hand toward her, his voice gentle yet firm. "Come, let me tend to your wound. We will address this issue together and ensure that our pack understands the consequences of crossing you. I stand by my promise to protect you, River." @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

River huffed annoyed watching him step closer to her. Hearing the sincerity in his voice caught her off guard slightly, never hearing him speak like that as she felt slightly guilty for telling him. “It’s fine… thank you” *she spoke softly rubbing her arm unsure what to even say in this moment as she’d raise a brow watching him go from sincere to a playful smirk as she’d lean back on the wall. The wolf couldn’t help but chuckle as he spoke “Your lucky I decided to go easy on him..” Shed retort, a smirk starting to form on her face also as she’d look down to the floor chuckling along with him she’d then go on “Thank you Alpha..means a lot” As the wolf looked up to him with a smile forming across her face hearing such a big compliment from him as the alpha extended his hand towards her , River pushed herself off the wall and grabbed his hand as she’d move closer to close the distance between them. She’d turn her cheek slightly so he’d get a better view of the gash.. but being so close to him made her flush red. She’s never seen this side of him before, and she enjoyed it.. as she quietly say “Fine… but if he tries to attack me again or speaks Ill of me I will hurt him.. okay” she’d lowly growl @rey0.0

As their hands briefly intertwined, Orion held River's gaze with unwavering assurance. His amber eyes held a mixture of respect and understanding. "I trust your judgment, River," he said, his voice carrying a protective edge. "And if anyone crosses that line, they'll have to deal with both of us." A small, genuine smile played on his lips as he reached out to brush a strand of hair from her cheek, his touch gentle. His fingers lingered on her skin, his gaze dropping to the gash on her cheek. Moonlight dappled his features, highlighting the intensity in his eyes as he regarded her with a mixture of concern and unwavering determination. "Let me take a look at that wound," he murmured, his tone a soothing blend of concern and care. Orion's fingers worked with deliberate precision, retrieving a cloth from his pocket and dampening it with water from his canteen. The coolness of the cloth against her skin was a stark contrast to the warmth of his touch, sending a shiver down his spine as he gently wiped away the small amount of blood on her face. His fingers paused their delicate task for a moment, his eyes locking onto hers with a new determination. "By the way," he continued, his voice carrying a touch of anticipation, "we're planning a hunt in a couple of days. I thought it might be a good opportunity for you to join the pack on a more personal level. Would you be interested in coming along?" @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

River softly smiled, nodding as he said he trusted her judgement. Good. It was a good start to earning some what of his trust right? As she smirked “oh.. Us?her voice lustrous as she’d see the soft smile tugging in his lips. Her face tinting a soft red as he’d brush a strand of hair to behind her ear, she felt goosebumps forming, his touch was she gentle.. so charming almost addictive feeling his finger linger down on her smooth skin.. she’d try to maintain a professional face but failed as she’d looked down to hide her blush. The way the moonlight shined on his face highlighted all the amazing features from his eyes to his body. She had to look away because she didn’t want to him to catch her staring Let me take a look at that wound he said as she’d look up? Feeling the dampen cloth on her skin. She’d wince, hissing in pain as he’d clean her wound.. looking at his eyes while he did. She felt that tingle go down her spine as she fixate on the cloth.. before back on him “Hmm?” her ears perked at by the way.. as she felt her tail sway as ge invited her to go on a hunt. She loved hunting so much as she nodded.. once more trying to remain calm and collected, but her tail swaying gave away all the excitement “Yeah, id love to go hunting with, thank you for the invite Alpha.. and for Uhm.. cleaning my wound” she say.. in a sincere voice towards him for once @rey0.0

"Good," he replied, his voice carrying a gentle reassurance. "I'm looking forward to having you there." His eyes held a mixture of camaraderie and genuine pleasure as he continued, "And you're welcome. It's my duty to take care of the pack, after all. Just remember, you're a part of it." In his heart, Orion couldn't deny the warmth that swelled at the thought of River by his side during the hunt. Her enthusiasm, the way her tail swayed, the sincerity in her eyes – they all painted a picture that went beyond the surface. His feelings for her had been growing, a steady fire of admiration that had ignited long before this moment. Her strength, her dedication, the way she carried herself in every challenge – it captivated him in a way he hadn't expected. As they stood there under the moonlight, the soft glow seemed to mirror the gentle but fervent light she stirred within him. He respected her as an alpha should, but there was something deeper, something that he couldn't quite put into words. It was the way her laughter resonated, the glint in her eyes when she was determined, and the way she responded to him in moments like these. He was drawn to her in a way that both surprised and delighted him. "And the hunt," he added, his voice carrying a touch of anticipation, "is two days from now. Be ready at dawn. We'll meet in the hall with the rest of the pack going. “Untill then make yourself at home.”he said with a little smile tugging at his lips shedding light on his sharp long k9s. “And if your feeling up to it your more then welcome to join us for dinner tonight as a pack. You don’t have to answer now, think about it you know where you find me.” He said with a growing compassion and enthusiasm. @✩₊˚.⋆ 𝓢𝓪𝓫 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓼𝓱 ݁ ☾⋆⁺₊✧

River would blush softly hearing his voice, and how he was excited to have her on board with him and his crew as she respond back “I too look forward..” she said.. staying quiet after that.. she wasn’t really apart of the pack, no.. she was forced her after they mercifully slaughtered hers.. so hearing him say she was apart of the pack made her angry, but she didn’t express it, she didn’t want to think about how this was her life. As they stood under the moonlight hearing the crickets chirp around them.. shed stare at him, analyzing him, he was so gentle, kind and protective it was admirable the least to say, given that this was her enemy as she’d snap out that admiration hearing him say “and the hunt” “Hmm..?” *she’d softly hum, nodding “got it.. thank you..” her voice lingers… immediately eyeing his sharp k-9s as soon as they were exposed under the light. Fuck.. they were long.. so why was she envisioning him biting her.. to please her— as she immediately shook that thought away. No! That was someone she hated.. right? as he’d mentioned dinner as a pack, River merely nodded.. thanking him for his time.. and for patching her up as she headed to her room. Her heart racing and her head spinning thinking about all the possibilities, ranging from dirty to worrisome. An odd combination the least to say. As she head to her room she’d sit on her bed for a good 15 minutes thinking of all the pros and cons.. as she ultimately decided to go to dinner, she needed to show her face here, she needed to claim her spot within this pack and going to dinner was a start, as she got up and headed to find Orion. Following his scent she’d find him in the living room, alone.. as she approached him “I’ll join you and your pack for dinner.. I need to show them that I’m not going anywhere.. and to not fuck with me, that I’m staying wether they like it or not..” she’d say and then immediately mutter to herself “and wether I like it or not..” @rey0.0
