Alexander raced through the dirt road with his trusty steed "Silver". He had grown up with the horse and named it after it's grey skin and light silver mane. "Faster girl..." He shouted as he enjoyed the feeling of the wind through his thick hazelnut hair whilst he sat upon Silver's back, concentrating and creating a steady and harmonious rhythm upon riding her. This was when he felt truly free, he loved the simple pleasures in life, as it was during these when he could finally get away from all the duties and frustrations of being a prince. Alexander was always outcasted, there were only people that mocked him or feared him, yet no one truly understood him. All they had done since his birth was place expectations upon the young boy's shoulders. The only time's when he would feel unchained from the manacles of his responsibilities was through the missions he was off to complete. He was apart of the royal family and as it's only heir he must prove himself without using the name of the king, so there are times he Is thrusted upon dangerous situations, barely managing to survive alive. This mission with be his fourth one. He was adorned with a white tunic with simple light leather armour over his chest and one shoulder like a normal mercenary or adventurer. Grey trousers with an shabby looking yet very efficient and expensive mana blade. Through the naked eye it seemed like a normal sword that anyone would carry, yet it could absorb most of his mana efficiently to be used in combat. He held a small regular dagger next to it as well, just in case he needed an extra case of protection. He wore a Brown cloak as well which was a torn yet had been enchanted with arcane in order to protect him from any magical attacks to an extent, it looks abit ragged but otherwise it seemed cheap and inexpensive like something a commoner would wear and could be passed off well.
10:56
The brown cotton like cloak fluttered through the wind which was being blown back, Alexander held the part close to his neck with his left hand in order to keep it from going into his eyes and obstructing his vision. He quickly moved his head up and stared upon the position of the sun. "Shit... It's taken abit longer then I calculated but it should be fine." He stared back upon the road and calculated that it had been a few hours since he left from the palace, he should be close to the town now yet it seemed he was quite delayed. Maybe he should have not stopped by at the tavern for a meal on the way but it was too late all he could do was watch upon the dirt road. Tapping both his feet twice he signals silver to speed up once again at max pace as he lowers his head down and prepares to travel as quick as possible to his destination. They will make a mockery of him back at the palace if he was known as the prince who got lost, so therefore he must make it in time. After an hour or two, on the far horizon. A sight began to appear, it seemed to be a vast amount of water as the scent of the ocean slowly filled his nostril as he ventured closer and closer to the blob which became bigger and bigger, to the point it was visible with a telescope. He pulled upon Silver's reign, in which she gives out a loud neigh as she slows down for him to take a look. It was the town, he had tirelessly searched for. It has a small fishing area as well since it was next to the ocean so fishing was reported to be a big part of it's economy. On the other hand the town itself was massive and next to a mountain and a forest as well, so hunting could be taken place and was also another contribution especially the big hunting tournaments that takes place a few times a year. There is one that will be happening in a few days within the forest, the prize is massive as well. The town itself was bustling and filled with lively people, merchants could do their business there without problems.
10:56
Never the less it wasn't too big to be called a city just enough to be popular and well recognise. If it were to expand however it could easily become a city. He put the telescope away into his pouch that Silver carried next to his saddle, took a gulp of water from his water skin and began his final ride into the town.

Wind through her hair. The feeling of wind brushing through her hair was mesmerizing, her gaze casting towards the forest ahead of her, eyes longing on the horizon line. She was sure that they would be looking for her now. They must have recognized that she was gone from her tent after long and as expected, they would have begun their search. They were quite used to this after all, used to her trouble making and her wandering. Wandering. It was something that Elysia had grown rather fond of. Perhaps it was that she would take near any chance to take a ride on Storm, the captain's Friesian steed that she liked to sneak sugar cubes. Storm was a lovely horse with a coat as slick and dark as an oil spill, his mane long and luxurious enough that all of the girls liked to dote on him. He was a beautiful steed, one that had a bold attitude and a personality of his own. He didn't mind the sugar cubes that Elysia snuck him though and he especially enjoyed when she stole apples from breakfast just for him. Perhaps that was why she was the only one outside of the Captain that he allowed to ride him. After all, should the captain have been aware that she had taken a liking to him, she was sure that he would have a tizzy. He didn't like the idea of such a young and frail girl riding such a powerful animal and often had her ride on the smaller horses for such a reason. A soft breath pushed through her lips as her fingers tangle in the steed's mane, tugging ever so slightly. "Woah there..." She cooed, gently pulling as the horse pulled to a stop. It was what stood ahead of her that caught her attention, her eyes focused on a large magical beast, one that she was sure that most would consider a natural killer. Yet at the moment, it didn't seem to have noticed her and the horse. It let out a soft huff, it's head cast down as it laid in a small bed of grass. It was large, it's wings spanning much larger than even the largest of birds. A thunderbird. Similar in Griffins in shap
14:33
e and body, thunderbirds were magical creatures that honed forth the power of electricity in their grips. They were strong and prideful beasts that even the strongest of adventurers couldn't kill. Yet Elysia didn't seem even the slightest bit worried. She paused and pushed off of the horse, her gaze lining forward as she pulled out a small ocarina, letting breath push in her nose before she lifted the instrument to her lips and began to play. At the first note, the creature turned it's head, attention shifting to the young girl who was slowly approaching him. She could do it no harm, that was obvious. Furthermore, she hoped the creature knew that she meant no harm as well. Her eyes softened as she took a seat on the ground, whistling twice and watching as Storm lowered his own body to the ground politely. She smiled and slowly began to play a tune, the melody lovely and light. Into that tune she imbued relaxation and peace, enough that the creature too would feel safe around her. Safe. She was sure the creature knew it was safe. After all, she wasn't exactly the most intimidating creature. A young fae girl with silvery hair and eyes so pale that one might call them entirely colorless rather than blue. She currently wore a white dress with silvery adornments, flowers sewn into the fabric in the most masterful way. She wore not even an ounce of armor, her gaze cast forward as she ignored dirtying her dress and remain seated. She was sure that Lillian would be sure to scold her later but that was a problem for later. After all, she wasn't necessarily all that excited about being in attendance of the upcoming event. She would much rather befriend a majestic beast than be attending a tea party, which was indeed where she was slated to be at the moment. She was sure that the noble she was meant to meet with would be entirely stuck up and outrageously annoying. They often were.

Her attention was only dragged away when she heard a rustling coming from behind her, her gaze shifting to the side. She knew not who it was or what it was, yet by the time that she returned her gaze, the creature was on guard once more, readying to fly away. "Ah... I do see that our time has come to an end." She noted in a soft tone, her eyes lowering as she bowed politely to the creature. "Perhaps we may meet again." She smiled, giving the creature a wink as she pushed to her feet. She was a strange girl, her outlandish ideas seeming rather strange for one who was considered a Princess. Perhaps that was why she fit so poorly in with the rest of the court. She was dreading it. Elysia was slated to attend a banquet in order to establish a peace treaty between their nations. While entirely important, there was nothing more that Elysia dreaded then being forced to act polite to people whom did not earn her respect. While a polite girl with fine manners, Elysia truly and wholeheartedly believed that respect was to be earned and not given. It frustrated her father to no ends, his constant bickering with her being rather a common frustration in her life. He was sure to be livid that she was missing such a tea party in the first place. After all, while it wasn't the banquet, it was equally important to establish relationships with nobles whom he considered to be rather important. She cared not. They would have to wait to have tea on a later date. At least that was what she assumed. "Princess... you are a mess." His voice came chidingly, a boyish young knight riding forward. With dirty blonde locks and green eyes, he smirked at her. "You truly are a wonder, Elysia. The entire royal cabinet is having a panic attack and you're befriending the beast meant to be hunted?" He laughed softly, hopping off of his horse and offering her a hand. "Beast is a rude word. In it's eyes, it is we who are the beasts." She frowned, hair slipping in her eyes. "Furthermore, allow them
14:41
to panic as much as they may. They would be panicking whether I was here or in the tea room. After all, they have not found a magic true enough to brain wash me into communicating in the way the would prefer me." @Ace

Alexander Godrick BOT 09-Feb-23 09:57 AM
Alexander rode into the massive town and was greeted by the faces of smiling children of all races, they were holding hands and playing together as if there was no war near the bordering cities. This simple fact amazed Alexander as it was not common to see this in his kingdom, although equality for all races has gotten better recently, It was still common to find those who find other races inferior and some better such as how the royal family are elves and rule over the empire. Therefore there were those that thought they should be obedient to them. That is the main way those prejudice began for his empire, although it was millenniums ago the bias still stood from children inheriting it due to the actions of their parents. He had dreams of providing more equal ground for all races to stand on in the future, however this could only be done after having the weight on the crown put upon his head. He signalled for his horse to slow down and be careful as there was alot of pedestrians on the roads which material changed to stone now.
09:58
There were many advancements in the animals that were allowed to be tamed and used, there were more than horses which could now pull a cart and trolley. In his empire there were even elephants and reptiles which were controlled and used for labour. This became possible due to the increases in magic development, with more people opting to use a magician to cast magic upon an animal to obey them than to hire a beast tamer. Usually it would be very difficult in order to control someone's mind however a beast lower intelligence could make it easier. Trying to control a legendary beast was an act of suicide basically, the difficulty was unmatched without the proper preparation a person's mind would be broken beyond repair. Alexander shuddered just thinking about it. He went past numerous cart's and people, some of the passers were wearing hoods just like him. It's common for criminals to run to neutral zones such as this town from the empire they came from. By doing so they avoid their charge completely as there is no enforcement for a crime not committed in ones nation. Nevertheless they can still be dragged back through force, so hiding their identity provides the best cover. Alexander hid his under his hood however as elves tend to get alot of attention and his pointy ears disclose his race quite easily.
09:58
After about 2 minutes of riding Silver on the road he stumbled across the market place, Alexander remember on the map he was provided it said he had to cross this vibrant zone swarming with all types of people. From merchants to children and farmers to nobles they all seemed to be living in peace. Taking a deep breath in he finally decided to make way for it. He jumped off Silver's back landing flawlessly and with elegance on the ground, some seemed to have noticed Alexander as he gathered some looks from those who surrounded him. Even so all they saw was his fair pale skin, button nose and sharp jaw, he was what you would describe as classically handsome. After a few stares everyone just went along their business and no longer paid attention to him. There were countless handsome and tall men that passed this area, so in their he just seemed like one of many. Shrugging by his lack of presence, which he felt was a blessing in disguise, he continued to walk through the crowed. Until a few second later a teenager with black wild hair and red eyes and horns bumped into him hard. It had enough force to knock over a grown man. However Alexander trained his body constantly so the boy felt like he had just smacked upon a brick wall as he fell on the ground from the impact.
09:58
Alexander watched as the boy gripped his cloak for a second assuming he was just using it to gain some balance despite still falling over. He approached the boy to try and help him up. However as soon as his hand was reaching out the boy took off running. Alexander seemed stunned by the sudden bizarre event, he simply had a face which was purely confused. He stood up quickly as he realised those around him began to stare at him again due to him, just squatting with one knee down on the floor as he tried to help the boy up, he looked as if he was a man about to propose to a maiden he was waiting for. Embarrassed and slightly flushed he let out a cough and continue walking. This time with a quicker pace towards the inn, in the town where he would meet those he needed for the first checkpoint and they would provide instructions for him afterwards on what he needed to do.
09:58
Upon finally arriving to the inn, the sun was now directly above him signalling it was noon and midday. After tying up Silver outside the Inn's stable and walking into the lobby. He saw a man sitting in the corner, he was massive in size about 7'2 and sitting down. If he stood up he would tower over alexander. He had no hair and had a long black beard with an axe next to him and a dagger at his waist as well as a wide scar that stretched across his face. He had a big beer belly and wore a grey tunic with a belt over his brown trousers. He gazed upon Alexander with his void like black eyes, creating a heavy atmosphere and pressure upon the 2 of them.
09:58
A normal person would have caved and felt pressured and intimidated by that gaze. To Alexander, who has felt the thunderous bloodlust and anger of beasts and monsters many times bigger then him, the look given was no different than that of a child. Dissatisfied the man grunted, he stared upon alexander once more and looked away. "Tsk, It seems they sent another weakling here to die... Even if your from that family." He held out his hand and simply asked. "Show me the proof and token, then." Alexander did not break eye contact as he stared whilst reaching into his cloak's pocket.
09:59
Nothing. His eyes widened "Wha..." He stuttered. The man's face began to look at him with confusion which soon grew to agitation. "Oi, Show me the fucking token!!" He shouted this time, gathering looks from all those at the lobby, which he just stared back telling them to mind their business. They were swiftly intimidated and looked away. "Shit." Alexander mumbled to himself. How could he lose it, the symbol of his authority and token as a prince. The royal families Crest Symbol. It was a golden badge which symbolised he belong to the royal family, like other nobles they also had their own and crests. 'This can't be... without it I cannot get the information I need next...' he thought to himself. Slowly he started to realise it as his intuition came in. his touched his temple as he realised. The boy from the market.

Suicide. Perhaps that is what most would call it should you try to tame a beast such as the Thunderbird. A beast of legendary stories, so powerful that one might quell it's anger simply by existing in the same forest as it at the same time. Elysia was well aware what they thought, yet she had always viewed beasts as something to be respected, their power and wisdom much beyond their own. After all, they were not bound by such perspectives as politics nor rumor and she had found that right to make them much more wise than their own kind. Animals had a wisdom that they had not yet known. She had seen it even in her horse, watching the way that the creature huffed at the large bird yet bowed it's head in respect. An unspoken language. One that she knew was much more powerful than the magic that others often used to contain and control beasts. Beast tamers were mages who had powers to control beasts, using spells that required precision and often a lot of mental fortitude. While Elysia respected them and their skills, she also knew their powers were very rigid and what they were doing simply was not taming them, but controlling and bending their minds. Some said that it was due to the fact that beasts had lesser minds, but Elysia believed that not true. They simply had different minds and that made them no lesser than their own kind. Elysia let out a frown as she looked at the young man who walked towards her. He simply frowned back and offered his hand, "May I guide you back, my lady~" He chidingly teased, green eyes sparkling with jest as he knew that she was an easy target to his teasings. His name was Levian and he was the closest knight to her age. He had been training since he was young and that had meant he had been by her side for quite some time. Over time, the two had grown rather close, Levian being one of the few knights who voiced his true opinions to her. In a way, Elysia truly respected that, after all, she wasn't the kind of princess to enjoy the
04:15
blind remarks and praise of people who didn't know her. She sighed and rolled her eyes, taking his hand and standing up. "If I told you to silence, would you?" She questioned, glaring daggers at him as she continued to walk out of the forest with him. She knew he would say no, after all, not once had he ever held his tongue around her and she wouldn't have it any other way. "Shall we head to the inn then?" She questioned, whistling once as Storm began to push to their feet. "Good boy." She whispered, looking towards the horse with a pleased smile. "You shouldn't steal other people's horses." He scolded her, wrapping his hand around her waist so that she could push onto the horse. "Yes, we'll head towards the inn. If you're lucky they will still be in attendance and we can continue on with our meeting... though... you ought to clean up first seeing as you smell of the outdoors." "I prefer that smell." She smiled, swinging her leg over the horse and grabbing into his mane, urging him forward. "Come on then. Mustn't waste time." She winked, letting the horse run forward with a burst of speed. Storm was a strong steed that didn't hesitate to take to her orders, and while he had a lot of pride, he seemed to have taken quite a liking to her after her constant bribery. It wasn't long before they were in town, Storm seeming to gain the attention of many as he strode through the street. Though, perhaps it wasn't him who was the only one catching people's attention. After all, Elysia had a rather distinct appearance and while she was meant to be wearing a cloak, she had gone out without such precedent. Instead, all she wore was her dress and nothing to hide her identity, the emblem on her forehead ever so striking as she continued to ride forward. Whispers seemed to echo in her ears as she began to grow aware of her predicament, Levian smirking at her unawareness of the true fact that she couldn't just waltz around in town like she owned the place.
04:22
"Want my cloak?" He asked, his attention shifting over to a young boy with a glimmering golden crest in his hand. "Oi... you." He called out, hopping off of his horse and stepping towards the young urchin. "That surely does not belong to you." He noted, recognizing the crest as one that the royal family happened to carry with them. Elysia had one of her own though she hardly carried it due to her physical appearance being outwardly enough to be recognized by. After all, the crest on her forehead often gave it away. It was a known Aetos family tradition to have the symbol borne into your skin during youth, though Elysia still remembered the pain of having the wound seared into her skin. She never would forget such pain. Elysia paused, tugging on Storm's mane to bring the large horse to a halt. It paused after a moment and allowed her to shift her attention to the scene playing out, her guard approaching the young street urchin without any hesitance. She recognized the crest just as well as he did. It was that of the Godrick family, a family that hers knew well and often truly did not get along with. It was the Godrick family whom she was meant to meet at the banquet later in this week and to garner a friendship with should they be able to come to a stable peace treaty. Assumedly, it was the token of the prince, after all, what King lost his token in such a silly way, especially to a child pickpocket. Elysia smiled and pushed off the horse, bracing her knees as she hit the ground and started forwards. "Would you mind showing me that?" She questioned, lowering herself to the child's height. "You see... that belongs to a very good friend of mine. And I would pay a rather hefty price in return should you allow me a trade." She said, pulling out a singular gold coin with a smile. A gold coin was worth much in this area and would feed many for quite a time. Eagerly, the child placed the crest into her hand and took the coin, "Do be sure to share what you can with you
04:22
r loved ones, alright?" She encouraged, her attention briefly taken as Levian took his cloak off and wrapped it around her. "You always bring too much attention to yourself. You do know that? Makes it much harder to protect you." He complained, knowing that it wouldn't change a thing. After all, she hadn't changed once for a second that he had known her. Yet he hoped one day she would become aware of her status and truly take that into mind should she bring herself into harms way. "Apologies." She noted with a smirk, holding the crest towards the sky, "But this is a wonderful win for us... is it not?" She grinned, her eyes shining in the light of day. "Perhaps this is the token that can bring us true peace." @Ace

Alexander Godrick BOT 12-Feb-23 09:23 AM
The large man began to look even more tired of Alexander's silence now, he had been silently thinking for the last 20 seconds and his patience has just about run thin. The man decided to pull back his hand and smack it with his other creating a loud noise which brought Alexander back into his attention. "Time's up... It's not every day I get a chance to beat someone this special..." He mutters loudly as he stood up cracking his knuckles and neck. He grinned as if he was being served up free food on a plate. Alexander was extremely stunned by this man's actions, especially since he had barely talked to him for 2 minutes and he was already preparing a stance for a fight. "You don't speak much do you..." He sneered at Alexander whilst bouncing on the balls of his feet. Despite being quite large both vertically and horizontally, easily outweighing Alexander by multiple times. The man was nibble on his feet even able to move as if he were dancing like an agile creature on the same spot. Eyes began to garner from all over the place, especially at the lobby, where they began to panic and move towards a strange magical object. It was a sphere made of glass, most locations had one and could allow the users with a slight cost in mana to contact another person. They were most likely going to call the authorities and soldiers of this town to sort out this mess. Alexander shifted his weight lower as he knew he had to end this quickly, if he were to let him rampage and he himself got imprisoned, his father would fail this task and he would be punished mercilessly. "Tsk..." Alexander simply exclaimed sounding displeased.
09:23
- The large man eyes widened slightly, looking even more agitated then before he raised his voice and shouted "Oh so now I'm a fucking nuisance to you, your all the same..." He rushed forward with his right fist leading, clearly aiming for the prince's head. The punch made a thrusting sharp noise as if it were cutting the air, however Alexander carefully tilted his head and got lower, dodging the strike skilfully as he extended his left leg on the ground. Aiming for his ankle he struck quick and hard sending the man tumbling to the floor. He fell face first and hit the ground creating a loud thud with the furniture and floorboards lightly shaking and him crying in pain. "Fuck..." He got up once again this time concentrated and no longer laughing, slightly limping due to his damaged ankle. "You’re a pesky little shit aren't you." His nose was broken and bent slightly to the side, yet the man simply reached for it and straightened it out with his bare hands only creating a loud cracking noise which seem to echo in the unusual silence of the crowd. It left a slightly purple hue on the bone area whilst there was a mixture of blood and snot flowing out of his nose. The surrounding bystanders spread out and backed away from the dispute between the 2, afraid they will also get dragged in. There was a rule here 'mind your own business’ if they had no reason to get involved. They would not. By the actions of the man Alexander could easily tell he was a seasoned adventurer, he probably has gotten in many fights and won most of them due to his size plus his incredible agility which they would not expect. He had all the right to act arrogant, however he had never fought against someone like Alexander.
09:24
- Alexander simply nodded his head and began for the next few strikes from him. However, they never arrived, he got into a position of a high ground his fat muscular arms were put in a high guard as if to protect his face and his left leg stood Infront of his right and slightly bent like a experienced fighter. He beckoned for Alexander to make the first move. Alexander gladly obliged to his courtesy, despite him weaking a cloak and his hood was still over his eyes, his vision was still perfect, he could see his positioning and his slight twitches could allow him to analyse quickly the moves he would make. Speeding up he pounced towards the large man covering the distance of 5 metres in a mere split second. The man prepared to be punched in the stomach, so he tightened his core, however before the blow landed Alexander sprung up and over him and changed his movement swiftly to a kicking motion. He aimed for the head. The crowd gasped at his incredible speed and agility, in which they heard a large thud. It was as if a ball had hit a massive stone wall. The man had successfully blocked the movement, if Alexander had simply gone through with his original attack to the core it would have dealt quite a bit of damage. However, when he decided to change his direction. The attack’s momentum went down exponentially which also lowered its impact. Alexander bet his assault on this gambit, by feigning and abandoning damage he could precisely attack a weak point and win by taking advantage of his lack of insight. Sure he could have also used his sword, however just like how the man did not use his Axe it would be ungentlemanly and dishonourable to fight an unarmed person with a weapon
09:24
- The gamble had failed however and It not only allowed him to block his kick successfully but also counter ruthlessly. After blocking the strike he twisted his body with an incredibly powerful speed. By tightening his core and legs plus his large stature and bulging fat and muscles he created an extremely powerful attack. Massive amounts of force gathered in his large fist. Alexander rapidly moved to ta defensive position by blocking with his left arms and hand and reinforcing with his right. The large fist smashed into collision with Alexanders defence and created a enormous loud boom. Alexander flew, smacking into the floor and bouncing out of the door he came from like a ragdoll. It felt as if 3 raging bulls had rammed into him without any protection. He stopped right outside the inn with a slightly shattered left arm and was lying on the floor. His hood had slipped off during the air is it could not resist the wind. Multiple people stared at him, they were staring at his ears, face and his arms. It seems they pieced it together very quickly. An elf was rare to see and was not liked by some due to their aristocratic values.
09:26
- Alexander slowly sat up and spat out some blood floating in his mouth, he was struggling to breathe now due to most of his effort put into blocking the attack. He faced all the stares which was put onto him and stopped at one in particular. It seemed to be lady in a cloak and the knight, the latter of which gazing at Alexander as if he saw some dirt on his clothes.

"Elysia, you know how frustrated your father will be should he find out of your antics" Levian raised his eyebrow at her, green eyes seeming ever so charming as he held out his hand for the princess, motioning for her to get onto the horse once more. "Come on then, Princess." He teased her, a charming smirk curling along his lips. "I told you not to call me that..." She frowned, pouting ever so slightly as she took his hand and hoisted herself onto Storm once more, her dress making it hard to properly ride the horse as a woman. Truly, she should be riding side saddle. It was what she had thoroughly been taught to ride by her instructor and it would disgust him to see her riding in such a masculine way. Perhaps that was why she did it though. After all, nothing amused Elysia more than blatantly ignoring the standards that were set for her by both her family and society together. "And furthermore, father would be very glad to find out I finally found our leg up. Well, that is... if I planned on telling him." She winked, her lips tugging into that smirk that only she seemed to make when she was going to get into trouble. "And what if I tell him, dare say what will happen then?" His eyebrow cocked confidently as he grabbed the reins of the horse and continued to lead the horse through town, his gaze lifting up towards her. "I suppose you hadn't thought about that, now had you?" A scoff escaped her lips as she slid the emblem into her purse, silvery blue eyes falling down to him. "I most certainly had. After all, I am quite sure that you haven't known even an ounce of independence in all of your life, now have you, Levian? Why is it so hard for you to grant me mine?" "Oh simple question, Miss Elysia. It's because you can't be trusted." He smiled sweetly, his eyes seeming to glimmer as he looked at her, "Not even a little bit." He added just to make his words sting a little more. "And that is why your father entrusted you to me... so please do not run off agai
04:57
n... I surely do not have the energy to chase you around the town again. Nor do I think you need to attract more attention to yourself." "Well... you surely are no fun." She frowned, "You enjoy chasing me around and I know that. Do not even deny it. " He raised his eyes towards her, "Elysia, you nearly got us killed by a thunderbird of all beasts earlier. What is fun about chasing you? You run straight for danger every chance that you get--" He paused as Elysia jumped off the horse and ran towards the man on the ground. "Elysia, please! Proving my point!" He cursed under his breath and followed after her, knowing that his words had no such effect on her after all. She would simply run into any danger without any thought or concern in her mind. Elysia knelt down to the young man with a frown, her eyes focused as she lowered to the ground to make eye contact with him. "You sure got yourself into some sort of trouble..." She smiled, "That can't feel good at all. Don't choke on it." She warned, her gaze flicking over her shoulder at Levian who was warning the large oaf who had been attacking him with a frown, "Do you have no class at all?" Levian warned the attacker, his stature smaller than the large man and yet clearly built. It was obvious that he was a knight of high class, even his armor giving away that she was an aristocrat if he couldn't figure out her identity from seeing her face. He continued to usher the man off, his attention flickering to Elysia every now and then, though he seemed to trust that she could handle this.
04:58
She took a deep breath and put her hand on his forehead. "Spit out the blood. Go on." She noted softly, motioning to the side as she closed her eyes and began to whisper something, her words seemingly in an unknown language. Yet as she began to speak, her hand would glow with a warm light and he would slowly start to feel rejuvenated. It wasn't perfect, but it would work to make him feel as if he wasn't going to pass out in the very least. Elysia offered a smile, "Now... would you mind explaining what was going on here..? How did you manage to make that... rather large... man so angry?" @Ace

Alexander's felt dizzy and could barely lift his head up well. He had landed upon his head on the final bounce and it created a slightly concussive effect upon his brain. He could tell and sense a figure approaching him however it was extremely difficult for him to tell who. He quickly calculated in his head he would need a few moments to gain back his equilibrium but the problem was he didn't know whether the man would strike again whilst he was down. He didn't seem like the type to go for an honourable duel, although he did not use a weapon it would not excuse him of attacking a man whilst he was down. He struggled to raise his head and sit up as he let out a clot of blood from his mouth. It seems the injury was not that bad that it would be fatal. It was his own fault in the first place for trying a gamble against a man who he felt was very experienced letting himself be countered upon. As he began to regain his normal state of mind, the dark world which devoured his eyes like a dark abyss suddenly became a lot brighter and very quickly. He could feel a flow of what he felt to be a mana like substance entering his veins. It substantially sped up the healing process so Alexander could feel his consciousness coming back to himself at a rapid pace, as if the veil like smog clouding his vision was lifted. His stomach was no longer feeling the effects of unease and shortness of breath. It was a marvellous spell to say the least.
04:56
- He takes a deep breathe in as the spell ends and takes a look towards his savour. It was quite difficult to see her face due to the hood the lady was wearing, nevertheless from the actions she has provided he was extremely grateful. Alexander was not inconsiderate enough to ask for the identity of those who saved him. Although from what he did notice she must have been quite an important person. Although half her face was cloaked her facial feature were quite attractive with a cute nose and full lips as well as marble like skin. She must have been looked after quite well. She could also use healing magic which she kindly demonstrated towards Alexander. His gaze now shifter over to the knight who was in a glorious suit of armour, it was fresh and shiny which could mean to be expensive. There aren't many lords that could provide that much towards their vassals. Alexander began to pick up the pieces of clues in his mind very quickly and put the picture together. Only one thought flowed in his brain, her identity must be of that. "A Saintess." Magic was an uncommon feature in this world that only a percentage of the population could wield. However only a handful of those chosen, could use healing magic. Most who can heal are usually found in churches blessed by their god's to strengthen it's effect. However for a of his calibre knight to accompany a healer, could only point to one direction. A saint/saintess, a holy being chosen by a God directly to enforce good and their will. The hidden face would be explained too as an identity of a saint being known in the middle of the town could cause a scandal to arise.
04:57
- Alexander's eyes widened at the thought. He never thought in his wildest dream even that he could meet an apostle of a God. Apostle or not however, she had seemed to arrive at a bad timing as he had a mission to complete and did not want to drag the Holy Saintess into a worthless fight which would drag her dignity through the mud as a pure being. It would be very disgraceful of him if he were to allow it as both a prince and a gentleman. Standing up quickly into a graceful straight posture as if he was talking to someone important. Alexander gently took her hand and held it in his once hand as he bowed deeply and kneeled. "Thank you, Your beauty need not waste time for someone like me. I swear upon my life to repay back this favour." Putting her hand upon his head to symbolise the blessing of service, he released the grasp of the maiden's hand to once again boldly face his challenge right Infront of him. 'Scrreeeech' The large man, dragged his large axe through the concrete pavement just outside the inn. He chuckled deeply with malicious intent as he stared at the knight beside them. "Who the fuck said it was a fair fight. Out here money talks the most." He laughed loudly, it sounded horrible so much so that some of those surrounding covered their ears. The man's stature resembled more that of an ogre now than a human. With a grunt he lifted the large one handed battle axe over his shoulder. "It took a while, but it seems like for some reason. Those in a higher up position want you did, little elf. They paid a lot of money so you don't come back alive from this town." The ogre like man was now grinning wide as Alexander struggled to think of what he should do in this situation. It seems there were even assassins in this town out to kill him. However he cannot just come back empty handed, he was all alone in this town with no one to help him. He can't but think what a tricky situation he is now in.

Elysia Aetós BOT 16-Feb-23 02:05 PM
Saintess Had they just said that out loud? Elysia paused and looked at the young man, admittedly wondering whether he had perhaps hit his head too hard. After all, no one had ever assumed she were a saintess before and she was quite sure that Levian would call the man a clown for even assuming her so. After all, she was the trouble maker of the Aetos family and she hardly blessed anyone with anything more than a headache. A faint smirk curled along the so-called Saintess's lips. She couldn't help but almost laugh aloud at the mere thought, hardly managing to hide her amusement. After all, while she knew healing magic, she was hardly skilled enough to be considered on the level of those who were considered to be saints or saintesses. Spell casters came in many different types, but the only ones who were considered to be saints or saintesses were those with healing capabilities. Of course, with that in mind, very few bards truly ever reached such terminology. Bards had quite a poor reputation, in reality. They were known for squandering their talents with overly charismatic ways and wooing those who they interacted with without thought of the true circumstances. The first school of magic was Bardic Magic. Bards were those with the ability to spell cast through music and words. Whether scholar, skald, or scoundrel, a bard weaves magic through words and music to inspire allies, demoralize foes, manipulate minds, create illusions, and even heal wounds. The bard is a master of song, speech, and the magic they contain. Their magic was versatile, including offensive spells, buffs and even healing spells. The second school of magic was Cleric Magic. Clerics are intermediaries between the mortal world and the distant planes of the gods. As varied as the gods they serve, clerics strive to embody the handiwork of their deities. No ordinary priest, a cleric is imbued with divine magic. Clerics most often were seen as healers due to their abilities and often were seen
14:05
as the so-called Saints and Saintesses of the world. The third school of magic was Druidic Magic. Whether calling on the elemental forces of nature or emulating the creatures of the animal world, druids are an embodiment of nature's resilience, cunning, and fury. They claim no mastery over nature, but see themselves as extensions of nature's indomitable will. Their magic best laid in shape shifting and yet even they had a few weaker level healing spells. Druids tend to get along better with animals that people and their public reputation seemed to follow that. The Fourth school of magic was Monk Magic. Monks are united in their ability to magically harness the energy that flows in their bodies. Whether channeled as a striking display of combat prowess or a subtler focus of defensive ability and speed, this energy infuses all that a monk does. While often hard hearted, Monks were relatively well liked among the general public. The fifth school of magic was Paladic Magic. Whether sworn before a god's altar and the witness of a priest, in a sacred glade before nature spirits and fey beings, or in a moment of desperation and grief with the dead as the only witness, a paladin's oath is a powerful bond. Paladins were seen as loyal spell casters that many got along with due to their determination and loyalty to their oaths.
14:05
The sixth school of magic was sorcery. Sorcerers carry a magical birthright conferred upon them by an exotic bloodline, some otherworldly influence, or exposure to unknown cosmic forces. No one chooses sorcery; the power chooses the sorcerer. These spell casters were seen amongst the strongest and their healing abilities often mimicked that. The seventh school of magic was warlock magic. Warlocks are seekers of the knowledge that lies hidden in the fabric of the multiverse. Through pacts made with mysterious beings of supernatural power, warlocks unlock magical effects both subtle and spectacular. These spell casters particularly enjoy more versatile spells and yet even a Warlock would be able to unlock relatively decent healing spells. The eighth school of magic and last school of magic was wizardry. Wizards are supreme magic-users, defined and united as a class by the spells they cast. Drawing on the subtle weave of magic that permeates the cosmos, wizards cast spells of explosive fire, arcing lightning, subtle deception, brute-force mind control, and much more. While rare, wizards were seen on a level just as spectacular as a Saint or Saintess, though their talents laid elsewhere. Watching the man stand, Elysia paused, her gaze lifting as he straightened to his full height. He was decently tall in comparison to her own rather petite stature, her gaze lifting enough that her hood nearly fell off. Yet before it could, he was already gracefully lowering his body to kneel, planting her head on his head. "Oh?" She questioned, a hint of amusement in her tone as she lowered her gaze to him. Her beauty. She smiled at the sentiment of his words, especially as he hadn't been able to see a majority of her beauty with the shadows cast by her cloak. Of course, her attention shifted towards the large oaf who continued to speak. She let out a sigh and watched as Levian scoffed at the foul man. "It seems you know not any manners." He scolded the man, "If it is money th

at talks most out here, I suppose it would be a rather large threat if I were to say I could make your life's fortune disappear in a mere second." He words were harsh and cruel and yet something about it made it clear that he was entirely sincere about his threat. Elysia softened and looked at him, "Any who dare lay a finger on this man will have me to answer to... and I surely assume a mere shop keep wouldn't wish to answer to a Princess... that would be quite the hassle, would it not?" She raised her eyebrows, shifting her hood off to reveal herself. She could almost hear Levian sighing in frustration at her revealing herself once more, yet she did not care. She would not stand for the knowledge of Assassinations in her land and certainly would not sit and watch as this man was attacked and threatened.

Alexander's eyes widened as his body momentarily shook from surprise. What did he just hear? The lady who he swore to pay back was a princess. Not just any princess as well but one who's empire he was at war with until recently. Taking a deep breath, he processed all the information revealed to him. Gazing at her face and her features, specifically her branding, it was by no means an exaggeration to have called her beauty to be impeccable. Truly her face alone gives her the right to match her status of royalty. However as the crown prince of the Godrick Empire there remains a sense of duty and pride within him. He has heard the tales of the “Beauty of Aetos family” and he could safely assume it was most likely to be her. There isn’t much more information known about the maiden however, which only increased Alexander’s interest towards her. ‘Perhaps I may be able to gain some insight towards her and her family.’ He thought to himself for a brief moment.
15:04
- Although he would like to do something as shameful as using a person to gain intelligence. He must stay true towards his value as a crown prince should behave. One must stay true to their promise after all. Alexander owes a debt of gratitude towards her, the favour comes first despite their families wars in the past which had lead thousands to be slaughtered on both sides. Alexander will decide by his own hands what actions to take. He nodded as he bowed once again to Elysia. “My name is Alex Draconia. I am but a wandering adventurer.” Whilst she freely gave out her identity. Alexander felt it to be wise to not respond with his. There is a high chance that they may not meet again after a while. Also revealing his identity could lead to the assassins learning of his location very quickly and could even cause more trouble for him. In the corner of his eye, he glanced upon the knight who accompanied her. It would seem to be very tricky to deceive him, even if this was their first time meeting, Alexander could sense he possessed a strong presence. In a fight between the two it would be unclear who would win. Alexander seemed the strongest nonetheless most likely with the knight’s experience with attackers he must have an incredible defence that Alexander would struggle to overcome.
15:04
- The ogre of a man grunted, for a moment he looked furious and dropped his axe. The large hunk of metal sank into the ground demonstrating it sharpness as a 1/3 of the steel was buried. He simply stood there now with a displeased look on his face as he crossed his arms. After about a minute of silence he took a massive step forward dragging his axe through the pavement as it tore through and created a huge crack in his direction. Without blinking an eye, he watched upon the Elysia and Alexander, ignoring the knight, and responded to the princess’s taunt with his deep voice. “Well, it seems like your one of those people.” He laughed as if he was looking at a pebble in his shoe: with disgust. “Getting a lady, to do your dirty work. A princess no less.” He laughs harder as he swings his axe so it lands upon his shoulder as if to holster it. This time the man switches language and speaks in elvish to taunt Alexander even more. “You have no fucking balls. how can you even call yourself a man. Even someone as pathetic as you have no honour. Fucking worthless.” He turns around and speaks in the common tongue once more whilst walking away back into the lobby to grab a drink. “Don’t think this is the last time we are fated to meet. Same with you princess, if you wish not to perish and bleed out in the dirt of an unknown place.” He turns his head as he gives a sinister smile towards her. “Then keep your fucking head out of peoples business. Unless you want to lose something so pretty, that would be a shame.” The man disappeared back into the darkness of the lobby, his trace completely vanishing from Alexander’s sight.
15:04
- Alexander knew he would have to fight him again, but next time it won’t be as easy. If his instincts were also correct, there are also a number of assassins in this large town hunting him down. Looks like this mission will be quite dangerous with no way back and now thanks to him the princess is involved as well. Suddenly, it hit him. A deep gasp came from his mouth as a realisation arose. In a town where some higher nobles from his empire knew he would be and where the princess of the Aetos empire would also reside at for the moment. If both were to die there is a high chance of the war continuing and if that were to happen only the nobles would benefit. The war has made them a large sum of money recently, therefore stopping the war would cost them losses. Alexander thought even deeper for a moment. Even if one of the two were to die here that would be enough reason and cause enough suspicion to continue the war once more. Anger boiled in his blood as he thought about the greedy aristocrats and their plans. He could not allow it to happen once again, an unprecedented amount of lives will be sacrificed if it were to be allowed.
15:05
- Alexander felt as if he had massive responsibility to bear and he was slightly stressed by it. It showed upon his handsome face as he had a small frown. Nevertheless it was still very attractive despite the clear dirt and dust on it, which he picked up from face planting from the ground earlier. He had a mission to complete whilst protecting someone and himself. Deciding to keep the thoughts on the back of his mind for now, he glanced once more at Elysia’s graceful face. Moving his head slightly forward he smiled warmly and observed her reaction as he spoke gently in a soothing and caring voice towards. “Thank you, you needn’t not involve yourself. Is thy lady feeling okay?” His hazel eyes seemed gentle like a fallen leaf in mid-autumn.

A scowl. That was the response that she got? Elysia paused as she watched as Levian scowled at her, his face twisting in frustration. She truly ought to stop doing that, she was going to give the poor young man gray hairs if she wasn't careful. He was already developing frown lines from his eyebrows furrowing so often and that would be an entire shame seeing as he was quite the attractive young knight, a true knight in shining armor to some ladies. Elysia was well known for two things within her family. The first was that she was well known as a trouble maker. Both within and outside of her empire, most royals well understood that the first daughter of the Aetos family was claimed to be a failed chance at royalty. Failed as in the fact that she would most likely be the worst choice for Queen possible. Even within the kingdom, while well liked, everyone knew that if Elysia were to become Queen, the world would quite possibly end. Okay... ending was an overstatement but honestly it might as well have meant that she would somehow end up handing over the kingdom to someone else in order to shirk her duties. Duties. It was a word that Elysia personally didn't like. It meant responsibility and responsibilities surely were exhausting. She would prefer to avoid such if possible and in all honesty, she did to the best of her ability. This was why she had a knight that personally followed her around. In reality, Levian was probably the only knight, guard or maid that could entirely put up with her and roll with the never ending punches she continued to bring onto him. Yet even this seemed to frustrate the young knight, his hand raising to his forehead as he grimaced. Her revealing herself would only make more trouble for him after all. Especially as this technically was not their nation. Elysia paused as she looked towards the man whom she healed, her eyebrow raising at his introduction. She hadn't exactly expected it. After all, he was kind of in a rather not grea
05:27
t situation. In all rights it would make sense if he attempted to lay low and hide behind her, yet instead he continued to speak. "Ah... it is a pleasure to meet you, Mister Draconia." She smiled, almost playing at having manners in a way that she knew would frustrate Levian. Of course, that was partially her goal. He was her best friend and teasing him led her to many a fun situation. As the ogre of a man dropped his axe yet continued to spit insults at the two of them, a wry smile curled along her face. Almost in amusement, it seemed. She paused and brought her fingertips to her lips, pausing and looking him directly in the eye with amusement as he threatened her. She could see the anger welling up in Levian's eyes. He wouldn't stand for anyone to threaten her. She paused and held her finger out to him, motioning for him to stop.
05:30
"You dare.... to threaten me?" She smirked in amusement, her eyes seeming to glimmer with a hint of mischief. "You see, Sir, in my kingdom we do have a special punishment for those who dare to threaten me." She walked up to him, not a singular hint of concern in her eyes as she stopped only 3 feet away from him. "Grovel" She commanded, though it wasn't a simple command. It was a spell. After all, the second thing that Elysia was known for, was her spell casting ability. Without hesitation, the large man would lower to his knees and begin to grovel. It even would sound sincere, though the man was doing it against his own will. "Anything miss, I didn't mean it, please forgive me for my mistake! I'll do anything!" The large ogre of a man would beg, his personality almost having done an entire 180 flip. She smiled in amusement as she looked down at the man on his knees, her eyes flickering with a sort of playfullness as she struck more chaos into the town. "Anything?" She questioned, a chuckle escaping her lips, "Strip. And Leave my Sight" She demanded, her gaze shifting towards Levian who had his hand covering his face. After all, this man did not have the intelligence to defy her magic, and quickly began to do as her every command stated. Soon enough, after making quite the scene of stripping, he would leave, even leaving his weapon and armor behind in the streets. It was only when she heard his voice that she turned once more, her gaze shifting towards him, "Feeling okay?" She asked, her lips turning upwards, "That was the highlight of my day!" She exclaimed, "Oh father will be so frustrated..." She giggled, only to be stopped when Levian placed his hand upon her head. "Princess... please cease this behavior. You know that was far too vulgar of a display..." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Oh come on, it was quite amusing, was it not? Watching an oaf like him beg and grovel at our feet. He quite deserved it, did he not?" "He deserved a

hanging to be quite honest.... but I suppose it will do. Next time... please allow me to do my job." "Of course, I would never get in your way, Levian." She smiled and turned back towards Alexander, a playful hint flickering in her eyes. "I should probably be on my way... after all... rumors do spread fast." She winked, knowing that her father would be fuming and was seemingly amused by the mere thought of it. @Ace

After watching the entire situation happen Alexander stood there with both a surprised look and a look of respect at this princess. By the looks of it she was not as simply as she looks nor as clumsy as he had heard about from the news which travelled to his kingdom. His eyes were wide and alexander had his mouth slightly open. ‘What just happened?’ he muttered silently under his breath. Despite the shameful acts she made him do, Alexander thought she handled the situation well. Although it seemed to be a very petty act to him and a man should at least die with honour rather than have his dignity taken away. He gave a loud sigh to signal that he had given up on whatever that dumb situation was and decided to be grateful it was over. Silently and still a little dazed he stared back at the princess conversing with her knight, who also glanced back at Alexander with some suspicion. He did look as if he was slightly less suspicious of the man however with those sharp eyes of his. Alexander could tell due to the knight’s experienced intuition that something felt off about himself. ‘If only I had not lost my damn token, I would have more control of the situation.’ Deciding to forget about the token situation for now he glances up again at the beautiful princess, ‘She really does have the features of a stunning maiden.’ As the warm thoughts flood his head, his eyes turned slightly sad and cold becoming a cool hazy brown now. ‘Too bad, the fates do not look kindly upon our lives.’ He reflects back to his past once again. The cold words of his bitter father falling into his mind.
12:56
- ”They are the enemy. They will forever be the enemy. Do not forget the thousands of men and women slaughtered for this cause. Your responsibility to this kingdom is worth more than anything you will earn in this lifetime…” Steeling up his resolve once more his expression hardened to one of neutrality and duty. It was handsome and charming giving off the grace of royalty. Despite wearing the clothes of a commoner, this noble look could pierce through all disguises. It was the one thing Alex could not hide. His destiny and manners. He was raised to be an emperor so therefore the gracefulness and elegance of one cannot be hidden with his movements. Knowing of his obligations and mission he knelt down deeply as to try show his submission. He knew this was necessary when in the presence of a princess. Alexander would need to find a way to keep her safe as well as finishing the mission. He may even decide to use his current disguise as Alex Draconia as a tool in order to complete it.

- Bowing his head deep Alexander spoke in a slightly deep yet enchanting voice. “My dear lady, I thank thee for showing your mercy to this poor soul.” He draws his sword and quickly cuts the palm of his hand, allowing the blood to flow and throwing it down to the dirt in front of the princess. The dirt absorbed the blood slowly and mixed thoroughly as Alexander slid his sword with his blood soaked hand. This was a persons way of acknowledging that a blood debt is owed. A person who does this ritual is basically vowing to reply a life debt with a life. Whether that life that is given is theirs or the life of the one who rescued them is saved. “Even a wretched soul such as mine knows the significance of this action. Please allow me to serve as your sword, an extension of thy holy body.” Alexander does realise that he may need to hold back his skills infront of them unless the situation is dangerous enough where he would need to use the full extent of his combat skills and magic. But currently this is the best idea he could think about in his head. Standing up he holds his sword close to his chest and lifts it up into the air, such as a knight would. A soft wind blew through the air as the eyes of the astonished drew to this majestic scene. His glorious hair blew back as he took a deep breath and closed his eyes. After a few seconds where even a drop of pin could be heard. A single voice pierced through the silence which engulfed the crowed. Alexander's voice which had been imbued with mana spoke. It was sharp yet gentle... Captivating and mysterious yet silent and insignificant. The type of voice used would draw most people to listen and had a charming effect without actually charming others. But to Alexander it was taught to him as the voice of an emperor. “My lady, if you shall accept me. I do solemnly swear from this point forward, until my life debt is paid. My sword shall be the instrument of your will and my fate shall belong to you…”
