"Look your too weak I can't accept you as a mate you'll only shame yourself and this pack " my own mate said to me My mate rejected me on my birthday and the day after my own parents was backing him, so to telI you the truth I couldn't handle that but as much as I cried over it I knew the reason he did it tho, every pack has a trial or test that the alpha's mates has to take in order to become the Luna of the pack I know it sounds stupid but that's the law that the alpha king declared after the war that took place, most alpha lost there mate because they weren't able to defend them self or the pack so to put it simple if I don't have strength and knowledge I can't be Luna Being the alphas reject mate was not a pretty repetition for me, especially since i know that there's gonna be contest to pick out the most fairest she- wolf of them all while I'll be at home sulking about it, so in that instance I made up my mind and left the pack and everyone behind as well. After that I found myself being Something I never dreamed of 'a hunter' and not just any hunter but 'an assassin hunter' never have I heard of a werewolf being a hunter much less an omega, most would have laughed but now I'm feared. After four years of my disappearance I was sent on mission back to my old pack, somewhere I never dreamed of seeing again but here I was seeing the people I once called family and the place I once called home *It was a cold autumn night, the chilly blowing, leaving crunching under each footstep she made. “And what is an outsider like you doing back here!? Hmp? The rejected Luna coming back for her man?” Vivian snorted as the other members would look at her like.. you done fucked up.. as Thalassa would smirk.. approaching Vivian slowly

“Vivi.. seems nothings changed about you..” she say as she’d grabbed the Betas throat and slammed her into the wall, pinning her as her claws dug into her neck, smiling hearing Vivian whimper in pleasure as blood crept her claws

“I’ll ask that you refrain from bringing up my past with that douche…. I doubt he’s even here anymore.. now your Alpha has requested I come here, so please, be a good girl and show me to him?” she’d smile dropping Vivian down as Vivian would cough, catching her breath. She stare at Thalassa in fear.. as she nodded

“Y-yes this way..” Vivian said as her and Thalassa would approach him “Sir.. the hunter you requested..” Vivian said as she left.. Thalassas eyes widen

Sterling looked up from his desk and saw the girl. A smirk slowly fell over his lips. "Thalassa. It's been years. And of course I'm here darling. I'm the alpha." He leaned back in his chair. "Interesting. You're the one they speak so highly of? I wouldn't have guessed." He moved to stand up, walking closer to her. "Years ago you could hardly look me in the eyes. What about now?" Sterling leaned down, going to tilt her chin up to look at him. The male hated the pull he still felt for her. If he could leave it behind it would. And yet, Thalassa still was gorgeous and he could feel his body pulled to hers. "I have a job for you darling. We need a good huntress. A deep growl emitted from Thalassa as he called her darling.. and that playful smirk on his face ugh! She wanted to smack that smirk off his face. She’d step into the room wiping her bloody claws on her outfit “Hmp… well surprise” Shed snarl rolling her eyes watching him approach her. Sterling chuckled softly and pulled his hand away that she bit. The male laughed at her words again and shook his head. "Darling I don't need help finding a mate. I need more protection for my pack." When she turned he grabbed her waist and pulled her back. "Don't walk away from me before you're dismissed." He growled softly, his tone turning serious, demanding. His presence began to show the power that he held. "If you walk away again, I will cut off your family from the pack. You will never again be accepted into any pack. Sterling narrowed his eyes and pulled away. He smirked when she mentioned having no family and shrugged before going back to sit down. "$5,000 and you'll walk out of here alive when you're not needed anymore. Just because you are said to be a good huntress doesn't mean you even begin to compare to me darling." He glanced at his nails, bored of the conversation. "Your chambers have been prepared within the pack estate. Most days you will be at my side, however you are not to interfere with my business." The male glanced at Thalassa and chuckled softly. "Darling, we don't have a deal. We'll start with 5k and see if you make it to the end. Then we'll discuss the terms then." He offered his hand to her. When she mentioned her chambers he smirked. "Darling, trying to take me to bed so fast? At least take me to dinner." Sterling teased before heading to where her chambers would be located. She'd be quite close to his chambers but still down the hall. There were empty chambers beside his as they passed, meant for his future mate. "Here. We're serving dinner in about an hour. Until then, shall I show you around or do you recall from your past?" The alpha chuckled softly at Thalassa. "Thalassa darling perhaps?" He teased about the name but noticed her tension about the past. Sterling didn't point such out and glanced away as she got to her chambers. He chuckled softly when she mentioned possibly not being at dinner. "Darling, where else would we brief about the day and the assignments for you? You're expected at dinner." His words were blunt, and slightly to piss her off. Though it was mostly so he'd be able to have dinner with her when he had the chance. "I'll see you then Thalassa. Though do attend later when I discuss your arrival to the clan." Thalassa would snarl folding her arms as she’d look up to him, saying he was expecting her to be at dinner for the briefing “fine…” she’d simply say as she’d watch him walk off talking her fingers along her arm. Thalassa noticed something about him… he’s gotten a bit more ruder and cockier.. and she hated herself for finding that somewhat attractive, playing hard to get but she refused to act on those feelings. She’d shake her head and unpacked her stuff , heading to the bathroom to shower and freshen up shed change into a double slit black dress with laces on a side going up revealing her thighs and lower waist.. and her dagger holster that strapped to her thigh she’d then put her hair up in a half up half down look as it was still damp making her way to the dining hall. She’d await for him to announce her arrival to the clan and as soon as he did she’d step in , as the wolves would look at her.. with mixed emotions, but Thalassa would glare daggers at all with her golden eyes… those who dared to make eye contact with her felt chills down her spine as she merely nodded “Good to see all of you..” shed say lying between her teeth as she walked and took her seat looking up to Sterling “you better also tell them why I’m here… Alpha” she said bitterly.. getting flashbacks on how she used to sit next to the alpha.. to gain his attention and flirt with him with all the other wolves watching.. her heart was racing as she was anxious but she refused to express that @novarose0103

Sterling was across the room when she walked in, making her walk past everyone. His breath hitched slightly, but he quickly pushed past it at the sight of her. The way her body curved made his mind flourish with ideas of grabbing her hips and what they could have been. He quickly shook himself out of the mindset before placing his smirk back on his lips. When she got to him, he placed his hand on her back, almost as reassurance. "We must welcome Thalassa Moon into our ranks once more." He could tell the ripple of emotion through the crowd in recognition and he turned back to her as she spoke. "Thalassa is to be respected within our ranks. She is here with purpose, so that I can find a mate." At the sound of that a lot of women seemed to perk up and pay attention but his eyes didn't seem to leave Thalassa. "You are not to disrespect her in any regard or discuss the past unless she chooses such. If you break these rules, you will answer directly to me." Finally his eyes left hers. He gazed over the crowd, knowing his words would shock many, possibly her. Sterling wasn't one to place boundaries for others or be protective, so him doing that for someone so insignificant in the pack prior was shocking. He pulled away from Thalassa and growled softly. "You are all dismissed." Many of the girls seemed pouty when they were ushered out, until the room was empty. He turned to Thalassa and stepped closer. "They hurt you or as much as look at you wrong, you let me know. I'll take care of it." Sterling held her wrist in his hands, leaning closer. "I know you're a gorgeous sight to behold. I'm sure these pigs are likely to disrespect that." He took his other hand, tilting her chin up to look at him before he pulled away. "Dinner will be done shortly. Thalassa would stiffen up, feeling his hand on her back as she glare daggers, quietly growling but didn’t stop him as she’d face the pack of wolves. Her heart racing as she hasn’t seen them in forever , and their mixed emotions made the huntress feel weird as well.. as he spoke about how they must accept her into their ranks once more, she’d merely nodded giving a cold glare to those who mumbled as he spoke about finding a mate she’d notice all the lady wolves ears perked In interested as she’d scowl feeling jealousy? She knew what it was like to be in their shoes so she didn’t understand why she was feeling so jealous that suddenly All the girls grew interested. But she’d gaze seeing how Sterlings eyes never left hers, she’d dare meet his gaze as he spoke. Her ears perked hearing him say not to mention the past. Odd, he never set these types of boundaries usually he’s usually one to boast about the past and all his accomplishments.. so hearing that made her smile softly.. as she nodded looking back at the sea of wolves as they would be whispering and mumbling as he’d pulled away from her Thalassa would rub her back looking as they left “I’m sure I can handle them my selves..” she said as she’d fold her arms “I took care of your little beta Vivian earlier …” she say as her sharp claws retracted, looking at them with a wicked smirk reminiscing on how she attacked her as he’d grab her wrist and held it she’d jerk back slightly looking at him with wide eyes as he’d lean closer her heart racing .. what the fuck was he doing “er.. thanks? As she’d enter the dining room she’d see the wolves setting up for supper, the ladies suddenly dressed nice to catch the attention of the alpha.. pathetic is all she thought as she’d take her seat in the 2 chairs down from the head chair of the table*

Shed await for the alpha to arrive as she’d kick back on her chair slightly.. looking around her surroundings it’s been awhile.. and yet nothing had changed maybe expect for a few new members scattered here and there… as Thalassa would glance up spotting Derek.. her eyes widen slightly seeming how much he has grown.. she last recalled him as a pup and a weak one none the less , now he was taller, and buffer his hair longer as he’d look to Thalassa with a smirk waltzing over to her

“my my … if it isn’t little ole tassy…” hed say as Thalassa would growl looking away

“What do you want Derek..” she say folding her arms looking ahead

“why.. to claim what’s rightfully mine…” hed say leaning forward whispering that in her ear as her face grew red as she peer back with a playful smirk

Sterling focused on her throughout his speech and he felt a spark of joy as she seemed to smile. When she spoke of Vivian, his eyes widened, a frown falling on his lips. "Be good to her. She's one of the few I can tolerate." As a blush spread across Thalassa's cheeks, he felt... Something. He loved how the red on her cheeks complimented her golden gaze. When she turned to leave and her tail hit him Sterling chuckled. The attitude on her regardless of her words amused him. He walked into the dining hall, the sight of Derek leaning over Thalassa. Sterling felt a rage seep into his claws and he walked over. When she pushed the male away, he bumped into Sterling and the table went silent as the smell of alpha pheromones wafted around. He placed his hands on the male's shoulders, his claws coming out slowly and digging into Derek. "Perhaps you were absent when I spoke about leaving Thalassa alone? I don't believe she's interested in you. So maybe I'll use you as a demonstration." The male's hand moved to Derek's throat, nails digging in as he looked over at the table. Many of the women looked like they were trying too hard, and the men seemed fearful. Blood slowly dripped from Derek's neck, his nails just deep enough to cut. He shoved Derek to the ground and scoffed. "Learn your place. There won't be dinner for you tonight. I suggest you retire to your chambers before I make you leave to the nurses." Sterling wiped off his hands and sighed. Never once did he think about how his pheromones may affect Thalassa. He was, after all, her mate. Sterling looked down at her, his face almost falling from anger to regret with her. "They won't touch you unless you choose them darling. He should know better." Sterling pulled away and moved to his seat, food being served once he took his place. He focused on his food, a conflicted and irritated look on his face as his eyebrows were furrowed and a smirk or smile never seemed to reach his lips.

Halfway through the meal, Sterling wiped his lips and looked up. "Every young female wolf at this table will have an opportunity to become my mate. However, I do suggest you realize sooner than later that I don't care about things such as appearance." The thought of Thalassa in her black dress, dagger to her thigh appeared in his thoughts but he simply pushed it away. "I need someone strong, that I can actually see myself with. If I don't feel like we are compatible, you will leave this table and be seated with the majority of the pack. Thalassa will be at my side as protection, in case anyone seems to interfere." "After dinner, those eligible will receive a letter from me. You are dismissed whenever you'd like to check for the letter." As Sterling walked in she couldn’t help but notice how his gaze went immediately to the man over her shoulder, as she smirk softly. She felt the jealousy and rage within him.. but she never expected Sterling to act upon it like this she’d watch as Sterling approached the two as he’d make a scene placing his claws into Derek’s neck causing him to bleed slightly as he spoke threats into the males ear. She’d watch.. amused.. and yet curious, Sterling never cared this much about her so why was he suddenly acting like this? Thalassa would gaze around the table seeing the female wolves expressions of awe wanting a man like that to be protective.. and then to the males who look like they just seen death. Thalassa scoffed, chuckling quietly to herself as she’d look behind to the scene As hed deem no dinner for Derek, he’d scoff, leaving as Thalassa would look ahead to her plate her mind was racing with many questions but she came to one answer.. it had to be the pheromones he had. As he spoke shed turn her attention back to him and with a cocky grin said “Aw boo… and I was just enjoying his touch…” She coo.. in hopes to make him more jealous as she’d look back to her plate and began to eat. She choose not to engage in any conversation halfway through the meal, Thalassa would be sipping her wine , almost choking on it hearing what Sterling said about how every woman had a chance to be his mate and that appearance didn’t matter , she wanted to laugh because she knew those wolves were trying so hard cause she was here and deemed a threat.. as Thalassa Would look up to him finally. Her piercing golden eyes staring him down as he’d explain what he wanted in a mate, and how she’d be by his side for protection.. she’d nod.. unfortunately, as he’d speak about how the ladies would receive a letter after dinner she’d snicker watching some woman leave early

as dinner finally came to an end and everybody was dismissed Thalassa would be the first the leave heading back to her chambers to undress, she’d let her blonde silky hair down as she’d strip down of her dress, wearing her short shorts and a tank top , her back towards the door as her tail swayed side to side as she was humming to herself, she’d remove her dagger and tucked it under her pillow, god she hated being back here.. it felt nerve recking but she couldn’t let them know. She’d pivot realizing her door was open half way the entire time.. as she’d walk to her door and just swung it open incase someone wanted to chat with her, though she knew the chances of that were low. As time passed Thalassa would sit on her bed, yawning getting to work. She’d open her journal and began to jot down the paths to take,avoid and what time to leave and where to stay, she had to protect the alpha after all.. even if she still hated him @novarose0103

The alpha wasn't paying attention to Thalassa as he dealt with the male, until she spoke once he left. Sterling narrowed his eyes and scoffed. "Considering you were pushing him away, you have an odd way of showing it. Perhaps this is your way of showing me that you want to enjoy my touch too." He taunted, his hand going to her neck, gripping it and pulling her closely. Sterling knew how to not choke her even when applying pressure. He let her go and turned to walk away. Sterling ran his eyes over the woman who left early before locking eyes with Thalassa again when she looked at him. He let her leave and moved to the back exit. The alpha went to his study to write a letter, placing it in a red envelope before going to Thalassa's chambers. He pushed the half open door open slightly more and leaned against the door frame as she removed a dagger and tucked it under the pillow. He chuckled softly, the red letter in hand. Once Thalassa noticed him, Sterling pushed off the frame and held out the letter in between two fingers. "Goodnight darling Thalassa." Within the letter held just three sentences, his words there simply to make her question and think. [Were you expecting a letter darling? Did you want one? It's interesting to have you here once more.] Sterling left after she took it. He wasn't quite sure if she would open it, but he hoped she wouldn't see the letters the others received. The pale blue envelope with the same generic text printed for each girl seemed to pale in comparison to the letter Sterling wrote for her. He moved to his room and pulled off his shirt before curling into his bed. The alpha knew the next day was bound to be chaotic, as he had planned out roughly five dates, simply to get through the potential mates faster. After breakfast he'd have to go on the first one, Thalassa behind him as protection.

She’d immediately looked away all flustered and mad.. thank god dinner was over as Thalassa was planning her ear perked hearing her door open more as she gazed up seeing Sterling at her door, she’d tilt her head causing her ear to flop to the same side, like a little pups as he’d approach handing her an envelope “Thalassa.. not darling” shed reiterate as she’d growl lowly “Night Alpha” she respond back as she’d open the letter and read it.. her brows furrowed as her heart started to race.. she didn’t know if she wanted a letter, or expecting on or if she felt jealous if she didn’t receive one.. a lot of emotions where racing through her head.. but then she got a flash back of all the bad memories.. how Sterling denied her because she wasn’t strong.. now suddenly he was interested in her because she was?! He didn’t like her for herself before now that she has changed he suddenly gained interest. Thalassa would growl feeling angry at that thought.. it took her leaving to gain the attention of the man she once loved and had.. as she’d rip the letter in half. Her heart pounding more in rage as she’d look back to her journal and went back to planning, however she fell asleep mid planning As morning arose Thalassa would get up around 7-8am and get ready, she’d tie her hair up in a pony tail and put on one of her many uniform . Perhaps it's too much, but it's what I want. You're going to go with me." He sat and began to eat. "Today there will be five dates. Mainly with members of the pack I don't know much about." He shrugged before finishing his food. "At the end of the day, they too will receive letters discussing whether or not I will see them again. I don't care enough to handle it in person." He knew his letter the night before was already doing too much. If Thalassa saw the letters the others received, he knew she'd think something of his letter to her. He looked around for something they had multiple in. He pointed towards a group of purple flowers. "I'll take the lavender and tulips. Give me five bouquets. And two of the daisy rose bouquets. Send them to the Ellis Estate please." He let her ring up the bill before paying and giving the lady a generous tip for her help. He wasn't quite sure why he got the bouquets but he knew he'd put them to use. The alpha turned away and began heading towards the estate. Thalassa heard a soft knock on her door as one of the maidens walked in setting the tray of food down for her with a piece of paper tucked in it, she’d thank the maiden quietly as she’d grab the paper and read it.. as she’d scoff setting it aside, and pushing the food away, she honestly lost all her appetite as she’d just wash up standing in the shower for about 30 mins letting the warm water hit her as she’d think. Sterling stood at her door, each sound of her heels made him more nervous but excited. His eyes ran over her the moment she opened the door, his eyes widening. He grabbed her hand and pulled her closer and she placed a hand on his chest. "You look..." His pause made it seem like he was holding back, trying to find words, "breath taking."
