Grey Northstorm BOT 26-Jun-23 10:17 AM
Grey Northstorm had been on the run for the last two weeks, he was dirty, hungry, hurting, and just down right exhausted. As he found himself on the number 37 bus in the city of New York, he would finally feel like he is lost amongst the crowds better here than he would have been in Poca, West Virginia, where he was born and raised. He looked up at the signs that flashed amongst the many billboards amongst the crowded streets. Here, he would just be looked at like one of the many homeless people that have become a problem in the city since ‘superpowers’ began to become a thing in the world. He remembered sitting in the comfort of his little 60 foot trailer that he had purchased after being kicked out of the drug rehabilitation center in the town of Oceana. He worked hard to get back on his feet, but he fell back into the pill game. He had been in it so long, he didn’t remember why he even started taking them, but he would be on a pain pill binge when he heard about the first super powered mutant exploding in the middle of a park in midwestern Iowa. Reports indicated that the man would glow almost a flaming orange before just exploding. It wasn’t very long after that, bank robberies would occur around the country by super powered individuals who would use their ability for evil and their own gain. He would remember what would happen to make him realize that he had abilities… It was a suicide attempt. He had enough of life, he was addicted to pills, unable to find a job that didn’t involve him going miles underground to mine coal or flip burgers at a fast food chain. He didn’t like life and he had no one to tell him otherwise. What little family he did have would almost encourage the drug use, only if they could get them some as well. His mother and father both passing around his 18th birthday from drug related overdoses that may or may not have been connected. The officers wouldn’t tell him anyway…
10:17
He would drive all the way to The New River Gorge Bridge. Leaving his rental car that he essentially stole to make the trip under a fake name, thanks to his friends that could set him up with fake IDs and fake cards to use, at the edge of the bridge as he would walk to the middle, the highest point, and step up and immediately walk off. As the wind soared through his hair, he could feel the calm relief of it being over pulsing through his veins, and once the darkness hit as he smacked the water and ground underneath, the normal person would think, that’s it. But, he would wake up three days later, only finding out about this by finding a newspaper at a grocery store parking lot with a date that was later than he remembered, on the shore of a lake that seemed to feed off of the New River Gorge. Initially confused, he would immediately figure out what happened and begin to question life. Hwe was suppose to die right there. Why did he not die? Did he not land right to die? Did he just survive because the fall was not high enough? He remembered everything up to that point of impact, but he couldn’t think of any reason for why he was here on this shore now. He would sit on the shore for a few hours before making the long hike to find a road. Wet, tattered clothing from the rapids of some unknown body of water, he would continue to move through the brush of the backwoods, looking for someone, anyone to help out until he happened upon a house in the hollers of West Virginia.
10:18
In this house, when he knocked on the door, he was greeted by something unpleasant. A shotgun pointed directly at his face. The older man and woman in the home, probably in their later sixties, did not take kindly to new visitors, but it was definitely not a welcome sight at midnight in these woods. He would raise his hands silently, looking over at the duo in front of him, “I am sorry,” he would exclaim, “I just need help or a phone. I don’t know where I am or what I am doing right now…” “You sure as shit don’t know what you have done, boy,” said the older man, probably an inch or two taller than the little woman in the doorway, wearing bibbed overalls and sporting a longer grey beard, “You ain’t calling no law in this holler. This is my holler, we deal with intruders my way.” The point of the gun at his face, the stress of trying to figure out what happened mere hours before, the pain he was feeling in his body at that moment… The moment was quick and quiet, he remembered his head would swell with pain as his eyes would melt the barrel of the shotgun with a red beam before he would grab the wall and rip the door off its hinges. His eyes would close, shielding the pulsing red glare from them from causing anymore damage… “I JUST NEED HELP!” The scream would echo as he would look down at the older couple, who now lay cowering in the house past the broken door frame, begging for help and forgiveness. His mind would immediately switch to being panicked and unbelieving of what he had just done. He looked over the doorway and immediately bolted as he saw the older woman dialing a cell phone for police. He would just run, run for hours, until he would just collapse in a park area that he found. He would immediately wake to the sounds of sirens.
10:18
The park was a lovely one, playgrounds, grills, and sheds for family gatherings, but right now, he was being woken up by a female police officer who would tell him that homeless were not welcomed in this area and he would need to go. He would agree and start to walk away before she would say, “Hey, come back, I feel like I have seen something about you…” His body would run cold at that moment, he looked back and smiled, “If it is alright, I would like to just go…” The police officer would not agree as she began to pull her weapon, “You.. .your the mutant…Stop right now or I will shoot…” He couldn’t stop, he couldn’t be taken in, he didn’t know what they would do to him. He raised his hands, feinting compliance before he would shoot the beams again, hitting the police car. He doesn't know what he hit, but the fire and explosion would send both him and the cop flying as he would regain himself quicker and not look back as he began to run, running hard. He would travel anonymously. And now, he was here. He didn’t know what to do at this point, but he knew he was being looked for as the giant billboard he looked at would show “The West Virginia Mutant…”

Reading the papers was dull to the raven haired femme. It was nothing she didn't know. A mutant having run loose. Heading for God's knew where. She felt a pang of pity for him, setting down her dossier. She sat in a white, overly large conference room with only two other people seated across from her. She raised her eyebrows at some unknown thing but kept her mouth shut otherwise. They droned on about her assignment, her 'mission' so to speak. Both dressed in sharp but unimpressive suits, one snapped his fingers in her face and she turned her head up to glare slightly. She looked him over but the next words out of his mouth shocked even her "Find him or you know what happens, Ada. It's simple. Bring him in. You'll get to see her for a little bit. That sounds nice, right?" The condescending tone in his voice only made her glare but she read nothing from him about whereabouts. Shielded. Cowards. They were on to her but all she could do was snatch up the dossier and fold it into her blazer "Fine," her voice dull, bored. Not giving away the fear and frustration. Getting to West Virginia was easy enough. Tracing the trail was harder. But she did. Her eyes widening as the trail led off a cliff. Raising her brows at the vile words from the couple who could have at least helped. And rolling her eyes as the police he'd encountered cried about property damage. She told them all to be thankful for their lives, and left them be. Finally the trail led to a bus line. She adjusted her black blazer, the splash of a blue blouse under, tied in the front. She wore jeans and boots, carrying a rucksack of black and brown. She figured out which bus line he was on and it was just a matter of time before the tired and put upon women entered the bus headed south, with the west Virginia mutant on it. He was easy to pick out and she made her way down the aisle to stand before him. She smiled "Mind if I sit here?" She asked, pointing at the seat beside him and giving the mildest

of sympathetic smiles. She didn't wait for an answer before she settled into it. Relaxing a little beside him now and speaking in a low and soft tone "Traveling can get rough, huh? I've been doing it for awhile. But you know, you can't run forever and I know you're scared. So am I." Her green eyes closed and she kept relaxed back, a faint smile on her face as she merely seemed to relax beside the most dangerous man in her employers radar. @jakeybean

"Uh," he hesistated for a moment, no one had asked as of yet and he felt like he didn't cause a scene, but would it cause a scene if he denied... He would move a small back of stuff that he had gathered. An old Janco sports backpack that he found in a dumpster that carried what little he had scrunched up so far in his travels, but he watched the woman from the side of his eyes as she would find her seat beside of him before he could even answer. As she began to speak, he would only stare at the floor as he moved forward, hunching over in his seat. He watched the floor for a moment as she mentioned she had been traveling forever before she mentioned that he couldn't run forever and she knew he was scared... and so was she. This was it, this was disaster. He looked over at her, almost feinting that he had no idea what she was talking about, "I am sorry," he said with a low grumble, "You must have the wrong person..."

She kept her eyes closed beside him. Listening in multiple ways and letting out a deep sigh. The femme had to think and think fast. He wasn't in the most rational state and she couldn't blame him for that, really. All she could do was sympathize with his situation. Her brows scrunched a bit and she put her hands behind her head as though to show him she had no means of weapons on her person and her hands were restrained by her head resting on them. She was doing her best to show she wasn't and wouldn't be, a threat. Sighing again, she slowly licked and bit her lower lip "Here's the thing" She said quietly to things unsaid "If you try to run, and I don't bring you in" Her voice was low "Then they're gonna send even harsher people after you." She opened her eyes and peered at him behind the glasses she donned "And I know you don't want anymore innocent people hurt." She closed her eyes again "Now, if you get off this bus with me, come with me to the nearest airlanding, it's just a few miles from here. Short hike for two travelers like us," She smiled a little warmly for him and continued "Then I can absolutely promise you no one is gonna hurt you or me or anyone else. But if you don't they'll hurt everyone to get to you," She breath hitched a bit in a sort of fear that only one with stakes could have. After a moment she smiled again and sighed out the held air in her lungs "You don't want this to end up badly, you're a good person trying to make it. I can help you. But you have to help me help you, understand?" She asked him. The entire time she kept her voice low and soft. Gentle though firm in what she was saying. She was absolutely serious, but she was also absolutely honest. @jakeybean

He looked at the ground, his heart was pounding almost out of his chest at this point as he tried to formulate what was next. How does he get out of this situation? Does he get out of this situation? "What makes you think you could bring me in?" The words escaped his lips before he could even stop them, it may have sounded like macho gravitious, but it wasn't, he genuinely wondered why they would just send someone like her, did she have powers as well? Did she know how to take his away? Why would he go? The thousands and thousands of questions that swirled in his mind, he repeated the words in his head, "But if you don't they'll hurt everyone to get to you..." "I don't have anyone to hurt..." the words almost pathetically bouncing off his lips as he would finally raise his eyes from the ground to meet hers, "But, something tells me you do..."

She caught his eyes when he raised them and her emerald hues peered back through the black rimmed glasses. She slowly smiled at him and flicked her gaze over his features before she sighed "I think you misunderstood," she started "I know there's no one in your life, so to speak. There isn't really anyone in mine either, not really," She fluttered her lashes a bit, having thrown herself off. Pressing her lips together before she continued "I meant they'd hurt everyone on this bus, everyone back in your home town, anyone that stands between you and them. And thats a lot of innocent people who don't even know you," her brows knit and she stared "You're not a bad person, and you didn't ask for this. I didn't either. But here we are, on a bus, talking about quietly going." She smiled a little warmer at him "I know you're just scared and the place I've been told to take you... Well you'll be less scared and they can help," She shrugged "They aren't the best people. But a warm bed and meals regularly while not worrying about hurting say... an old couple? Police trying to do their job? You could worry about hurting people who deserve it," she smiled a bit wider and shrugged. "Or," She sighed and leaned back again "You could keep running, they'll punish me in a bad way, then send special ops after you... And they'll destroy whole city blocks with happy families on them just to get to you," she let that hang, she let him make his choice. But each word was gentle, and firm in it's way. This woman didn't lie, not currently anyway. Settling back, she was breathing a little harder and her anxiety was kicked up. But she tried to steady herself by closing her eyes "Bus leaves in 20 minutes, so, that's how long you have to decide. I can answer any questions till then," she offered. @jakeybean

The mentioning of innocent people seemed to get his attention. While he had no mind to care about anyone on this bus, or for anyone back home for the matter they were the ones that threw him to the wolves and didn't care enough to help him, he couldn't help but feel like his mind would not allow him to take another death or injury like before. He sighed as he looked up at her. He continued to listen to her as he would pull his hood back. His black hair seemed to shine a little bit in this light. Could be the lack of a shower and oil in it or the light of the bus and sun combining, but his green eyes would meet hers as well. An old couple, a police officer, she had done her research or been on his trail for a minute... He looked back at the ground for a moment as he sighed, hearing her say they will hurt her, continue to look after him, even destroy the city trying to find him. Why him? He was nothing... Something that he would verbally announce... "Why me?" he asked with a small glimmer of a tear escaping his eyes, "I am no one special..."

A scoffing breath of a laugh came from her parted lips at his last words. Though something about him and what he was going through hit her and she sighed "Yeah, you're not a bad person," She sighed seemingly at random as she looked him over. She watched him for a long while. Perhaps longer than she should have, considering how soon the bus would leave. He was so scared and he eeked off him. She almost recoiled, not from his shape or anything about him, but rather from the sensations he was giving off. A man on the run. She flicked her hues over him for another second before she answered. "Not everyone can shoot beams out of their eyes and survive a cliff fall," She said quietly to him and smiled a bit more "Not many people can do alot of things, I know. But you are especially extraordinary in that you are the most powerful mutant they've come across. So of course they want you to "work" for them" she used air quotes and sighed again. "So your choice. Use your powers to run and get people hurt in the process or come with me and learn to harness them and use them to intentionally hurt people who need to be hurt," she offered once again. "Any other questions? We only have 15 more minutes," She smirked a little as her eyes flicked to the front of the bus and back to him. @jakeybean

"It was more of a bridge fall," he chuckled for a second, wiping another tear from his eye, "New River Gorge is pretty high up, I thought that would do the trick... No wonder people do dives off of their every year..." He almost smiled as he looked over at her for a moment, "What is this place they want me to go to? Is this something to do with experiments...? I don't want to be..." He stopped himself short. He didn't know why he would suddenly trying to discuss this. He shouldn't do this... He should just stand and dart past her right now, right? That is what he should do... But, he couldn't. The thought of even one person losing their life because of him sent a shock and a terror through his system like nothing else could, "I don't wanna hurt anyone..." he would say in response to her saying he could use his power to hurt people that needed to be hurt, "But, if you promise that no one else gets hurt, I will go quietly..."

Her lips smirked at his 'joke' and she gave a little shrug in response "Bridge, cliff, does it matter?" she asked him with a raised brow and laughter in her soft tones. She sighed though, settling in and watching him a moment as he went through his questions. Ada decided to answer honestly, if for no other reason then to give him a bridge between them of trust. "They'll run experiments, but not invasive ones. You won't be a subject or test or experiment. More like... A project. Specifically my project," She gave off a sigh again. She doubted very much that he understood what she had taken on or rather what had been thrust on her without her desire, want, or need. "They'll, well I'll, help you hone your skills in a nice big environment with all the comforts you ever wanted. You just have to play nice with the Black Suits... And we'll get through this." She assured him. Very specifically saying 'we'll'. She nodded though "I know you don't want to hurt anyone, or else you'd dart past me right now and endanger everyone here and myself, and anyone else you come across." She sighed and shook her head, leaning a bit toward him to catch his eyes. "Grey," she smiled "Yes, I know your name," She didn't state how, or how she seemed to pick up on small things he thought or felt. She reached out to delicately touch a scarred hand over his knee. "I know you don't want to hurt anyone, but some people need to be hurt for the right reasons. But I can promise no more innocents, no more running, no more missed meals." She smiled a little more. "With my brains and your prowess, we'll get through this. We just have to get off this bus, and you just have to trust me." She smiled a bit more and laughed, a lock of hair falling in her face "Or run, and kill me, your choice. But I think we both know what you're going to choose." She gave a sly wink at him. "Just trust me, I didn't have to take this assignment, but I'm just trying to survive like you. I can help you survive if y

As she called him by his name, it almost took him by surprise, but he thought to himself, it could have been anywhere out there in the ether of it all. Hell, he was plaster on every billboard from the West Virginia border to here. He looked down at the floor, "I already said I would go quietly," he admited again softly, "Let's just... let's get it over with..." He sighed as he stood. His dress was worn out. Tired. He almost looked like the many homeless that surrounded this bus stop and downtown. Meanwhile, she looked like a million dollars. He couldn't help but feel... ashamed... of what he had become in such a short time. He still felt like that 150 pound dope head from the 'holler,' but here he was, in a new muscular body, being lead to whatever was to come next by one of the most stunning soldiers, he assumed, he had ever met before. What a difference 72 hours makes. He followed behind... "What comes next?"

She nodded, standing up and sliding her pack onto her back. She reached out to take his hand in her overly warm and scarred-up one. "I know you did, but you seemed like you needed the boost." She said quietly. Ada would lead Grey out of the bus and keep her eyes focused on the front. She wasn't upset by his appearance beyond the fact that he looked miserable in it. She gripped his hand a little as they went out the bus doors, and she started to lead him at a swift pace, toward the exit of the depot. "What comes next is we go to the landing strip not far from here. I radio in that you came quietly and without problems, they send a plane for us. From there we'll be taken to a facility that's in the foothills. Secure. Away from onlookers. A place to ... refresh yourself." She bit her lower lip and gripped his hand more as they exited out into the near-deserted road and she looked around for the right direction to take to get them to the strip. Delicately taking her hand from his massive one, she started to rummage through her pack, "You look fine. If anything you were a regular flower compared to the usual bus wanderers," She reminded him as she took out a data pad from her pack and looked up the map. She turned her head left and right. "Besides, who fucking cares what other people think? I don't. Or try not to." She rolled her eyes in a tired way and looked south. "This way, buttercup." She gave him a smile and was panting a little "And thank you, I know it's not hard to go quietly anywhere. I never wanted to," she looked down as she put her data pad away and adjusted her bag. "But you saved a lot of lives just now. You're already on your way to being a regular superhero," she gave him a wink. Holding out her hand and looking south she sighed "Ready? It's a trek... The files don't have a lot on your early life, did you always have powers or did they manifest one day? How long did you keep it a secret?" She fired off her questions before he could even take

He watched her as she took his hand. While her hand seemed like it was scarred, he did note that it was warm as well, and soft... Was he that desperate for human contact in the moment? He followed along almost silently, letting her speak, but a soft smile would emerge when she mentioned that he looked fine, but who cared anyway, he almost got a soft chuckle from it. She did seem to have a devil may care attitude, so what exactly was in this for her? When she gave him the signal and the two of them would begin to walk towards the direction of the landing pad, he would simply reply, "I don't think I have a choice of if I am ready or not..." The conversation quickly moving to his powers, they almost made him regret the decision to go quietly. His mind did race for a moment. There was no one around now, he could just break off and run now if he wanted too, but would they hurt her...? "I... I don't know how long has it been in me," he said with a nervous git in his voice, "I just know when I jumped off that bridge a couple of days ago, I thought I was going to die. I was kinda reliefed on the way down, but when I woke up, my body was bigger, muscles developed. It wasn't until the crack house in the holler that I got the laser eyes..."

Her hand was firm in his as they walked down the dusty and endless seeming highway that connected the bus depot to the rest of civilization. She felt a moment from him and laughed for them both as they walked along "That's never really a real questions, if you're ready, it's more a prep phrase to get you in gear." She looked over to him and gave him a wink. She didn't lead him like a dog or prisoner. She walked beside him, just holding his hand and keeping it firmly in his. Maybe she knew he needed contact, maybe she just needed it herself. She was looking left and right when he had his moment and she answered without even thinking "Yes, they will, a lot. And someone else I love, even more." his question on his mind answered. Her face was truly blank for the first time, walking ahead. She adjusted her glasses a few times and sniffed to get her resolve. "But you can run, I don't control you and I have no desire to. I'm just trying to survive and you're my ticket." She gripped his hand "And I'm yours. So don't do anything you'll end up regretting," She advised softly with a grip to his hand again and smile on her lips. She nodded along as they walked, diverting them over the road and toward a long far off gated looking area. Large too. She walked across the dirt, kicking up dust with her boots as they went along. "So, one day you just snapped, decided to end it all... And found out you were more then what you thought." She mused "Thats amazing. Like a phoenix who has to die to be in it's full glory." She paused a moment, almost halfway to the central gate and turned to him. Bright eyes met his through glass and she said very quietly "Now listen, do not, under any circumstances, let them know you can't die." she pressed her lips together "I managed to bury that part but if they find that out the test could be... bad. I didn't tell them, you don't tell them. Maybe it works to our advantage later?" She suggested with a hopeful look. She was nervous now, shaki

ng a little, but kept his hand in hers as she gripped even tighter and said "Promise me you won't let them know," in a very serious tone while facing him and now holding both his hands as she grabbed for them. Ada didn't know why, but she felt a kinship with this man, and a desire to protect him as her charge. She left out of her reports exactly all he could do, intentionally so. And perhaps with a plan forming behind her bright eyes that might let them both be free if he'd listen. Her eyes brightened a little with that hope that he understood. @jakeybean

Ticket to survive, and he was hers? He was confused, but he didn't question it at the time, he would only look at the distance ahead of them. He sighed as he looked around. "I wouldn't say it was a one day snapping," he almost chuckled as he looked around again, "I had been building towards something like that for years. Just... didn't know how I was going to do it until a week ago, and look, I couldn't even do that part right..." His hand never left hers, but he would begin to feel her shaking as they did walk, he couldn't help but look at the nervous and manic expression in the moment, "I promise... unless they already know..." he didn't like how this was going, "Don't worry, I will protect you if I need too..." He had no idea what, why, or how he came up with the last words. He was not in the mindset or even the right capacity to even think about saving her, even if he wanted too. "What is this place?" he said with worried look on his face now, "Is it a prison? I have been in jail before, but no prison..."

Her hands released his when he pulled them away. She wasn't pushy by nature. But when he promised and made his declaration that he'd protect her she couldn't help but smile a little and cant her head. "Thats... Sweet but stupid." She told him with a little laugh. As they turned to walk, she started to roll her shoulders, her expressions becoming less vibrant, more toned down. Her smile less. She pulled her pack around and offered him a bottle of water as they went toward the gates and she answered. "It's a Dark Site. Governments often keep them pretty concealed even by the largest estimate of Conspiracy theorists. It's not really a prison... We can leave when there's a reason to but... It's not really a home either. Think of it as a ..." She paused and seemed to try to track the right wording "Halfway house. They're going to have me train you here, do psychological and physical tests, again of the noninvasive kind," she assured "You asked when we first met why they'd send me, I think, and the answer is that they felt you meeting your handler and the person responsible for your training and rehabilitation right away. Or rather I did." She sighed and looked toward the gate "These humans are not the kind of people that'll understand tragedy or loss. We're just hooks for them. Easy tools. But I've found you can make the wielder your own tool if you know what to do. So just trust me," she said for the thousandth time, holding the water out and smiling again "We'll go in, you'll get cleaned up, clean clothes, a clean bed... Then we'll start in the morning. If we do this right I'm the only person you have to talk to if you want, and you don't even have to do that," She laid it all out for him. As simply and plainly. @jakeybean

As she moved her hand away from him, he felt a brief moment where he wanted to reach out and grab it again, almost like a kid reaching out and looking for the comfort of an adult, but he would stop himself. Sweet, but stupid... it would be a lie to say that he had not been described as such in the past, but continued to be the stupid side of the conversation. Taking the bottle of water, he would only take a small sip, leaving the majority of it that was left for her. He didn't feel like his body needed it. In fact, he couldn't remember the last time he had eaten. His stomach growled almost instantiously in agreement. Halfway house? That sounds about right for him, he couldn't count the number of halfway houses, rehabs, jail cells, and more he had been in in the last couple of years, but she made it sound like it wasn't something similar to what he was use to. It would be more than just a bed and someone to prescribe you a pill. As they continued near a gate, he would look up and down, looking for anything interesting or out of the ordinary. Other than the large gate, it looked like a mountain or a hill that he was use to in West Virginia. Maybe the gate hid something that a company was working on. He could see how they hid it now. "Wait," he said at the sudden realization, "You... are going to be my handler?" He didn't exactly hate the idea, she had been gentle with him so far, but why her? Was there something about her that he was not seeing from the naked eye? "Cleaning up and eating would be nice," was the only thing that he could blurt out when she mentioned starting in the morning, "I would love to just... relax for a minute."

She let him keep the water, noting the stomach growls and sighing with a note of pity. She seemed to sense something else from him and gently laid her hand on his shoulder for comfort. "It'll be okay. The planes waiting for us just beyond here, then a quick stint to the facility, okay?" She told him gently. Turning away from him, she punched in a series of numbers into the pad on the gates latch, which clicked open and she pulled him through before securing it and looking left and right a moment before she led him around, still speaking as he paused "Yes, I'll be your handler." she didn't tell him why, though she knew he was wondering. She only added with a smirk at him "Perhaps it's my delicate and sunshiney nature. Or maybe it's because I requested it and I've been such a good girl" the last bit dripped with sarcasm and she sighed with a wipe of sweat from her brow. "So... The air strip is here," she led him around a few large craigs that blocked the hidden and gated runway, revealing a small 4-seater plane waiting for them. The pilot gave a salute upon seeing Ada's outline and she rolled her eyes and gave a limp-wristed one back in signal. She looked at him again and smiled "Come on, quick ride, promise." She led him to the plane and boarded the steps without hesitation. The inside was rather comfortable, a bar of snacks and drinks with four seats facing one another and a table between. She called back to the pilot some signaled words and the doors started to close behind them. Like on the bus, she led him to the seats and took one herself, she gestured to either beside her or across and put her bag on the table. "So, how about you get a snack before take off, and we'll start with your mental assessment?" she adjusted her glasses and flicked her eyes up to his "I promise it won't be as invasive as the nonsense you've dealt with in the past" she fluttered her hands "I'm not a quack or shrink. Just someone trying to figure out how we're going to train

Once they arrived to the gate, Grey would stand back and let her do everything that she needed to do to get them in as he would do his best to avoid looking at anything that he didn't think he was suppose too. He smiled as she turned back to him and confirmed that she would be his handler, smirking at her jokes that she made before getting to the plane. The pilot seemed to greet her with a strong salute, something that you would see a lower member of the military give a higher ranked member, it was definitely something that made him raise an eyebrow, but he shook it off for the moment. Once they were in the plane, a little bit of nervousness would come over him, "Sorry," he would exclaim, "I have never been in a plane before..." However, he saw the snacks on the plane, chips, nuts, drinks... He couldn't help himself. His stomach growled at the mire sight, "Is it okay if I...?" He would motion to the snacks on the table before she would tell him to go ahead. He would grab a bag of salted potato chips and begin munching into them quickly, followed by a bottle of water. "Mental assessment?" He responded back after chugging the water, "Sure, I guess?"

She watched him as he adjusted himself and nodded as the nervousness seemed to roll off him "Nothing to be afraid of in a plane, not for you" She reminded with a sly wink and laugh. "But fear is rarely rooted in anything but rational" she assured him "Just relax, buckle up if you like. Eat to your hearts content." She welcomed him as she gestured to the bar of it all. "Just an assessment of where you are mentally. There aren't any wrong answers, and I'm the only one who sees the results," She assured him once more. She was doing that alot. For a man made of steel, so to speak, he seemed like he needed a gentler hand then most. Which Ada was willing to give. Already in their short time getting here, she had taken a liking to him. It wasn't a burden to keep him at ease or constantly explain to him and her patience for him seemed endless. She adjusted her glasses and pulled out her datapad again to scroll through some things till she came to the form she wanted. She smirked a little at it. And said softly "It's only three questions. Consider each one carefully and answer. Like I said there's no right or wrong." She read them out loud "Would you rather live in a basement or an attic? Why?" She smiled as she let him consider the first and moved on to the next "What's more appealing, being unstoppable or being unmoveable? Why?" she paused a moment and then looked him over to final her last question "And last, which do you consider your biggest strength mentally speaking?" She adjusted her glasses again and would repeat the questions as he needed, giving him time to answer. @jakeybean

He listened to all three questions as he looked over at her, but he would sneak in bites of the potato chips as she did. When she would finish the last question, he would take another large drink of the water in front of him before placing it in a neatly placed trash can beside the snacks. He smiled as he adjusted himself for a moment before he would repeat the questions and his answers... "Would you rather live in a basement or an attic and why?" He would say first, repeating the first question, "Attic, because I would rather be able to look over everything instead of hide myself away. Even though that would be better sometimes, I still think that the attic would be better because you could see what you are missing, even if you wanted to hide away. "What's more appealing, being unstoppable or being unmoveable and why?" he said next, repeating the second question, "Unmoveable. Because to be unwavering without pushing your own self agendas on someone is a style I have adopted since I was a young kid. Unfortunately, it was because of other stuff that I became too stubborn to let those personal beliefs be waved in any way though..." He felt rambly as he shook that thought for a moment before repeating the third question. "What do you consider your biggest strength mentally speaking?" He said back as he looked over, "I mean, I feel like I am super strong now, but the invincible skin is nice. But, I have a feeling that you don't mean powers, so I am going to say that my greatest strength is that I looked death in the face and it rejected me?"

When he started to answer, and she gave him plenty of time to eat between and before and after for that matter, she set her pad down and arched her hands into a little nest for her chin to rest on, elbows on the table while she watched him and smirked at each answer with a little nod. She picked up the pad and put in a few words for each and then closed it before she stowed it away "Alright, I have a good baseline then. And you're right. You did stare death in the face and got rejected. It was probably just scared of you," she teased in her ever casual way. Leaning back in the luxury seating on the rather private plane, much like she had on the bus, she put her hands behind her head and sighed as her glasses slid down her face a little. "So before you ask, it was so I could figure out where I'm going to house you and which things we're going to focus on. I've trained a few," she shrugged a little "No one like you before," She added with a peek at him and grin. "You have an extraordinary opportunity, Grey." She told him warmly "Just like I keep saying, trust me," She smiled a little more and looked to the back "There's a private bathroom and shower in the back. There should be some clothing around you size back there. We'll get your suit when we get to base and later on but something a little more... Comfortable." She looked him over with an edge of pity. Reaching over she stole a chip from him and grinned "Clean up, but only if you want. It's very important to me that you only do the things you want. You've been told what to do too long. Now you're between a rock, a hard place, and me," she winked "So, if you don't want to do anything I ask or recommend, dont," she shrugged as though it was that simple and leaned back again. Comfortable as ever. @jakeybean

He watched her place her notes in the pad that she had in front of her, but he didn't know what to think about it. Did he give her too much? Too little? Were his answers cheesy? Did they tell her what she had hoped to hear? All questions that were interrupted by her continuing to tell him that it was being used to house him and what they needed to focus on. This woman seemed to know what she wanted and how to get around things. He could only smile up at her as words continued to escape him. She mentioned that he had an extraordinary opportunity and to continue to trust her. He again smiled, but the mention of a private bathroom and shower in the back of the plane intrigued him. It had been way before the incident since he had an actual shower. He would look back, confirming the direction he would need to go, "Back that way?" He would ask. How could such a small plane have so much in it? He would think to himself. He would stand with a smile, his head almost bending sideways due to his height, "I would love a shower right now. I will go..." He began to move past the woman in front of him, it was a tight space, but he managed it well enough. He would find a small door off to the side of the plane's little hallway. Upon opening it, he would see a toilet, shower head, and sink all in a little compartment. It was definitely not a five star walk in shower at the Ritz, but he had enough room to step inside of it and move freely amongst everything. The shower stood in the middle of the room and everything around it was just there. As he would start the shower for the moment, he would strip of what little clothes that he had remaining, a busted hoodie, holey jeans and socks, and a pair of broken down boots, placing them outside of the door so they would not get wet. Even though, they probably needed it.

Keeping to her pad while he stood up, she smiled warmly and took her eyes away a moment to look up at him. He seemed wary, tired, but in better spirits then at the bus depot. And she was happy for that. She nodded when he pointed back that way and grinned wider. "Like I said, get yourself clean as your like, there's some clothes in there that should fit. The black suits know everything about you, nearly." She grinned a bit wider and smirked at him "I know more though," she tapped her temple and winked at him with a hint of a tease to her voice and some odd truth there as well. She watched him go and when he was shut away she pulled out a recorder and pressed the on button to start speaking. He would probably hear her and she had no issues with that "Grey is already showing signs of trust and adjustability. This is good. I didn't anticipate him being amenable to my offer. I'm pleased he was. From his evaluation, we'll be focusing on primarily using his invincibility, testing it humanely, while also reflecting on his desire to see and be aware at all times. Recommendations for housing are a large tower, I'm going to propose the north wing of the facility because of it's 360 view from the top and easy access to the ground level should he feel pent up. No medication recommended at this time as he is stable and, pending his physical, seems to be in top shape. He's already showing amazing progress and his thoughts are positively off the charts in terms of complexity. I think we have a shot with him." She clicked off the recorder and then pulled out another Datapad to take other notes on while she waited for him, humming softly to herself some unknown tune. @jakeybean

Grey would wash his body down, making sure to get rid of the any of the dirt that seem to accumulate over him from the last 72 hours. He sighed as the warm water almost felt like a warm hug against his skin. He couldn't help but lean into water, letting it rush through every part of his body. He must have stayed in the shower for about an hour, enough that the water began to run cold at the very end. As he would turn off the water, grabbing a towel from outside of the room, gingerly, he would begin to dry himself off only to find that he did not have any idea where the spare clothes were that she had mentioned earlier. Reluctently, he would wrap the towel around his lower half, not wanting to risk putting the soiled clothes back on and would step forward into the seating area of the plane, "Umm, Miss Ada," he would say with a sigh, "I hate to bother you, but where would those clothes be that you offered me?"

Over the time he spent cleaning himself, Ada would be making herself a cup of tea, reading a few papers scattered about and mostly lazing about in a semi relaxed state. She could sense that he was feeling more at ease just down the way in the tiny bathroom with amenities he hadn't had in far too long for her own liking. Poor thing. She felt for him, she did. And she wasn't entirely using him. If anything she saw him as an opportunity for them both to find some sense of safety and freedom. But that would take time and she couldn't jump ahead so instead she just mused over her paper work and just as she was about to take another sip of her tea, he stepped out. Blinking repeatedly as she sat up, her glasses slid down her nose slightly and she just stared at him. It had been... awhile since she'd been around any man worth noticing and now one was in a towel and half dripping wet asking her for clothes. Some devious part of her wanted to make him look and she even got a glint in her eye at the thought, but instead she just laughed nervously and tore her eyes away, gulping slightly and clearing her throat. "No problem," her voice sounded a bit high-pitched "There over here," Getting up she seemed even more nervous as she set her cup down and adjusted her spectacles to very specifically only look at his face as she slid past him, slightly brushing against him and laughing again "These planes... so small," She awkwardly said before she leaned past him to a closet space and pulled out a sweater and sweatpants, an undershirt, and undergarments in a bag. The space was narrow to say the least and she held the parcel before him in the small area between them, half holding her breath "Should be your size, I think," She blushed a little and pushed her hair out of her face "Oh! Shoes!" She turned back to scoop up a pair of tennis shoes and held it all out to him like some weird offering before she said quietly "You can just call me Ada." She bit her lower lip and felt a

slight reddening and warm feeling in her upper cheeks the longer they were this close and he was disrobed, for the most part. For how sure and casual she was, she certainly wasn't used to this. That much was clear. @jakeybean

He felt almost an awkwardness between the two at this point, and he couldn't seem to make out why. She did seem very devil may care, but she looked almost embarrassed. "Oh, I am sorry, I didn't mean to come out in just the towel, I thought it be best not to put the dirty clothes back on..." he would stammer for a second before looking back at her, "Thank you again for everything. I just... Here..." He would awkwardly pull the boxers from the top of the pile of clothes, "You can put those back and let them know that I don't... wear... these..." A drak red hue started to form over his body in the moment as he looked back at her. Realizing what he was feeling was more than just embarassment, but a feeling of possible arousal and embarassment... He shyed away for a moment, but as he would go to move, he would feel his towel begin to unravel, "Shit," he would whisper under his voice as he attempted to cover everything and move back into the bathroom with a box in hand in the small area between the two.

Ada shook her head halfway through his words "It's fine, makes sense. I should have given them to you before you went in. I was just distracted. I do that, get distracted," she adjusted her glasses and blinked several times as she tried to regain her composure. For some reason the more aroused and embarrassed he got, the more she started to clam up and she nodded with a laugh as he discarded the boxers. She finally sighed and started to pass everything over when his towel started to slip. She covered her mouth and laughed, turning away from him to give him some semblance of privacy, "I'm sorry!" She said as she started to giggle "It's just been a long time since I've been around a male worth looking at," She continued to turn red and laugh her ass off at the situation before he moved back into the bathroom to get clothed. Leaning against the side, by the door, she'd talk through it "There's really no need to be embarrassed. You'll be in a hospital gown in front of me in a matter of hours. I'm being silly," she said with laughter in her soft voice "Do you need anything else? We'll be landing soon and you can have some actual dinner. I warn you though, I'm not a great cook," she snorted a little and shook her head, "Is there anything you're craving?" She smirked ever so slightly at the end there. @jakeybean

Once he was back in the bathroom, he could hear the voice of the woman outside of the bathroom. She was giggling and apologizing, but when she told him that it has been a long time since she had been around a male worth looking at, he could feel a red hue overcoming his body, but he would smile a grin that would have to be surgically removed. He couldn't help but feel elated at that comment. "Hosptial gown!?" He blurted out in surprise as he would finally exit the room in the sweatpants and sweatshirt, "So, you are like a make shift US Army knife of a person or something...?" He would find his way back to his seat, "Doctor, spy, specialist... is there anything you don't do?"

The femme leaned back as he came through the door and as he asked her about her various specialties as well as commenting on the hospital gown, she was still red in the cheeks and smirking. She laughed even harder at his words and the bell-like chime it brought echoed a little in the cabin of the plane. She pushed her hair out of her face and shrugged. The curly and unruly locks still cascading down roguishly. "Sort of?" She responded, "I can do anything I put my mind to, let's just put it that way." She smiled a closed-lipped smile and folded her arms casually. "So! If you haven't put it together I'm basically your handler, which means I'm responsible for all of your training, testing, and the treats the little black suits hand down to let me give out. And since you're the only one I'm working with, you get it all. " She winked with a click of her tongue at him and grinned even more "That color suits your eyes," She commented with a glint in her own. Finally regaining herself, she was more on point again. Especially with him dressed and at a few more feet away than before. She stared at him a moment before adjusting her glasses in that habitual way and wiggling her mouth a bit "You can always request a different handler, I'm sure they'd reassign me if you prefer. But I did request this one," She pointed out to him, "Then again, more than a few did, so," signing she smiled a bit as her eyes looked him up and down "You have options. I can't prove I'll be better or worse than anyone else. But I can tell you that I'm the only one trying to get out of all this as much as you" She pointed at him. @jakeybean

"Handler," he would say with a smile as he would round the corner of the shower into the seating area again, "Got it..." With a nice shower and new clothes, he almost looked presentable in his eyes. His beard seemed to be a little too bushy for his liking and his hair was a mess still, but he was sure that would be addressed with time, but he would listen as she continued to speak. As she would comment that she had requested this mission, that peaked his interest, "Why?" he would ask as he turned his head to the side like a curious puppy, "I don't feel unique?" And indeed he did not, you could blame it on the run he had been on, or the depression he was still obviously dealing with, but in his own mind, he was nothing special.

The bright hues followed him as he moved to sit and she kept herself leaning for a moment while considering him for a long moment and the smile on his face. He seemed pleased enough with the situation and so did she. "Yes, handler" she drew out the word with a minx-like quality to it before laughing and whipping a stray lock from her face. Adjusting her glasses and pushing off the wall, she went to sit across from him once more. A smile curving on her lips as she considered his question and the various things that eeked off him she seemed to pick up "You look great," she answered the unasked question "We can get you more looking to... you own tastes when we arrive. We should be there soon," She checked her watch while answering the things he did voice out loud. "I told you, a lot of people did. You're the strongest mutant we have on map. Even stronger then some of the more meta humans you may or may not have heard of. Either way, you intrigued me," She smirked "You still do," She laughed again. Sighing, she continued, "I wanted to be your handler because I knew you were a fighter, and I need a fighter on my side. I don't want ..." she stopped herself and looked around. Her eyes darting very carefully around as though looking for something before leaning in "I don't want to be under their thumb anymore than you do," She nearly whispered, a few inches from him with a warm breath over him "So I thought... Well just trust me and we'll get out of this. All of us." She dropped her eyes and eased away before putting her smile back on. "Any way you seemed interesting, strong, resilient," She continued in a louder voice "So I took the assignment and got creative on how I got it. The black suits like that. Creativity." She snerked. "You alright with that? Any questions, concerns, requests from your Swiss army knife of a person?" She gave a wry grin and another wink his way. @jakeybean

When she leaned in and her warm breath drapped over his neck, he would smile under his look. The smile fading as she pulled away, he could feel the tingles that her breath left on his skin as he looked over at her. When she asked if he was alright with that, he would just nod and then shake his head when asked if he had any other questions at the time. He didn't have any because he was just still swept away by what was happening. He had remembered reading stories about other mutants, or meta humans as she described them, but he couldn't fathom in his mind what was happening to him was happening to other people. He would smile at her anytime she looked at him, but the remainder of the trip remained quiet and only spoke when necessary. Staring out the window, he would see the compound begin to form in his window. He looked over at her, "So, what do we do from here?"

The smile on her face spoke more volumes than her words as she leaned away with a gently sigh and nod of approval at him "Good," She said with a wink and click of her tongue, a roguish smile on her lips that didn't want to stop. Considering his question, she looked around. "We'll be touching down here shortly, very shortly. And I'll take you into the Facility, and you'll get cleaned up, examined by me," She smirked wider, "Then given your quarters to stay in along with any wants or needs you have regarding items, activities, and food. After I get done testing, poking, questioning, and acclimating you, you can rest." She looked out the window for a long moment as they started their descent to the ground. The facility was in the middle of nowhere. And from the sky, it didn't look like much - if anything. It was nothing more than a small-looking shed in the middle of an expansive acreage of deserted land. A large perimeter gate encircled the entire property. And the little shed building was dead in the middle. Ada's smile twitched a little, and she shook her head. "I hate this place." She muttered under her breath but kept her smile. The journey from there wasn't long. The landing was easy, and in about 45 minutes, with the femme across from him either making notes or contemplating out the window. As they touched down, she was on her feet with her rucksack thrown around her back. She looked back at him with a large smile again, more genuine, and gestured with her head to follow her as she made her way out of the aircraft and touched dirt, making a b-line for the shed. "Ready?" She'd ask him at some point in all of this with a sly look behind her shoulder as she did. @jakeybean

As he would listen, he would just continue to nod as he would take in all the information that she was giving before she would turn to look out one of the windows of the plane. He would do the same as he would watch the aior stripe almost pop out of nowhere and it almost looked like nothing at all was there, but before he could make a comment, she stated her hate for the process under her breath, but just loud enough for him to hear, "Why?" he would softly ask, but get no response in return. The two of them would remain silent for the remainder of the trip. He would smile at her when they would feel the bounce of the plane land, following her but he was almost blindsided with what came next. The movement between touching down at the facility and the rushing of him through out the small concrete building in the middle of nowhere was almost super speed like. He had no time to sit back and even look at the scenary as he was already being moved and taken around with an escort of guards in a quick fashion.

She led him inside. The small shack was entered through a passcode she punched in and two guards on the other side stood rigid there, waiting for nothing and watching for everything. They barely responded as Ada entered with Grey trailing behind her. From the moment she turned away, she was navigating forward without looking back. Her ears and other senses track the movements behind her. She led him past the guards and down a set of stairs. Downward, the area opened up to corridors before she turned several times, left or right, and finally came to another door with a code. Sighing and blowing hair out of her face, she adjusted her glasses, put in another set of codes and then pushed forward. Down they went, several flights and now clearly underground. A few more twists and turns down the way that seemed like she more than knew the outline of the place. Eventually and after about thirty minutes, they got to a door and she smiled. Pulling out a card from her pocket, she swiped it and opened it up. The doors parted and showed a large basketball court-sized room, with several doors off to the sides. Ada huffed and turned to him. "Okay so this is the general training area. Off to the side you have a private bedroom with an attached bathroom as well as a living area to unwind. There's a TV in there, some books and board games. They won't let us access the internet," She rolled her bright hues and smirked in a semi bitter way. She pointed to the other side of the room "My quarters are there. They want me close to you at all times," she smirked a little "Now only I have the door card into here, you can take it. But then you'll be on the run again," she reminded before pocketing it and winking at him. Leading him inside she gestured for him to go look at his new space. In the very back of the large room, apart from their living areas, seemed to be a door to a private hospital wing. This place had everything and he'd find that nearly anything he wanted or neede

d would be found in the his room and living space, should he go looking. Ada let him do so if he wanted and called behind him "Just meet me in the back when you're ready. No rush." As Grey would find himself in the middle of this gym of sorts, he couldn't help but take in the size and magnitude of everything around him. He stood there just admiring everything, including how they could pack all of this in an area that seemed so small from the outside. He would look across the gym at the private quarters that she had mentioned and he was astonished again. He was use to a 12 by 10 room. This was more than he could have ever imagined. He watched as she described things, but he would feel his pockets and the trash bag of clothes he had carried in from the plane. This was all he had to his name at the current moment. He sighed as he looked over at her, "I'm I think I am ready now," he said as he walked over and placed his bag against the door to his quarters, "We can go now..." Truth be known, he was almost afraid to see what was in the room. Not that it would be bad, just... overwhelming.

Bright eyes watched him through the shine of her glasses and a wayward curl from short locks fell into her face. She sighed. Feeling the overwhelming feeling coming off him. Ada had forgot or perhaps just hoped. But this would all be so new with so much he wasn't expecting behind it. Tracking him as he set his things down, seeming to avoid his room, she walked over to the opposite side, tossed her things in her living area, then ducked back around to meet him near his again. She gave a gentle smile and cracked her neck. "So, sorry about all that and this. I realize this has been a whirlwind for you. New and different things and well, I guess a few days ago you were eating what you could find and decided death was the only option. Today it's a new life and fresh start but people never talk about the shock of that change, do they?" She gave him a sympathetic smile. "You're a good person, Grey, for coming here. You're gonna save a lot of lives." She swallowed a little and for reasons that remained unspoken, little tears welled in her eyes as she fumbled with her hands together. She cleared her throat. "Fresh start," he would nod in agreement, but a shakiness could be heard in his voice, "We got this..." He wasn't sure if he was agreeing with her or hyping himself up, but she gave him the smile and told him that he was a good person, he could almost feel himself breaking, but he would just hold his head up and wipe away a few tears as covertly as possible, "I sure hope I don't let you down," he said, she had already made such an impact on him in a short time, "I just don't want to let anyone down..." Fear of not living of to his potential, something that had been his fear since he was born and something that he couldn't ever measure up too. Watching him as he turned to her, her eyes scanned him and she looked surprised for a moment, not at what he said but rather what she sensed from him. Her head canted as he went on and the shake in his voice made her react by reaching out with her delicate hand and touching his upper arm "Hey" She dipped her head to catch his eyes and grinned "I told you to call me Ada," She said softly, watching him over the tops of her glasses. "And you're welcome. More than. You're gonna save alot of people, it's my pleasure to help that journey." She sighed a little and continued to watch him. "So exam and then we can look around your little apartment there," She jutted her chin toward the door he'd put his bag by "And I'll make you some dinner and we can relax for awhile. Tomorrow we'll get started on training," she nodded with a bright smile and gripped his arm softly with a slight pull toward the infirmary "The exam won't take long. I suspect you're in perfect condition," She gave him a sly grin as she walked them toward the door in the back. @jakeybean

Grey would step forward with a smile, letting her lead the way to the area. He wasn't sure what this would entail, but he was okay with it as long as Ada was pushing it. Walking up the steps, he could see a very dedicated lab set up that over looked their little area below. Vats, tanks, treadmills, lab equipment, gym equipment, any kind of mechanical instrument you could think of for testing the human body seemed crammed in this spot, he looked over at Ada with a welcoming eye, "What's first?"

She gave him a soft smile and moved to the back as he followed. She opened the infirmary with an access card she pulled quickly from the pocket on her jumpsuit. Entering, she guided him and let him take in the room. Ada gave Grey a sly, side grin and laughed "Nothing so invasive or extensive. I just need to confirm you're in good condition to start training. Then I promise we can have dinner. Together, if you want." She looked back at him and then away. The silly, yet oddly serious femme was so bold but yet so unsure. He took her off guard and made her pause. The idea of him in nothing but a sheer and slightly transparent goan before her on a table made her blush. But she kept eye contact with a zeal that showed she rarely, if ever, backed down. She walked up to a hospital bed and pulled a curtain around the area for him before gesturing to him with one hand "Undress, put on the gown, we'll do a... complete overlook of your health, and then dinner. If you even want me to join you after that, well, I'll be surprised." She laughed and shook her head "It's just not very dignified at first." She explained warmly and sighed. Moving away from the curtain, she'd let him take his place inside and use the gown that awaitied him ion the hospital bed, talking through the divide with a casual demeanor, "Fun fact, if you slip the gown, you'll be the first man I've seen nude," She snorted at her joke and mostly truth. @jakeybean

He would watch and examine the area as she would explain what would come next, giving her a soft smile as she talked, before handing him the almost paper like gown he would have to wear when he was in the examination. She was very truthful, it seemed, saying that that the exam would be something that he might not like, but he would look over at her. He didn't know why, he didn't know how she did it, but he trusted her... Maybe it was just because he had no one else to trust in this world... When the curtain was drawn, the gown given, he would step forward into the open. The loose fitting clothing was easy enough to get off, but the cold wind that blew through, it almost bit at him. But, one thing he didn't expect to do was examined himself. His body had certainly changed. In his hands did not feel the scrawny, puny arms and chest of the man that he had previously been in the mirror. A soft six pack of abs, a chiseled v-cut above his groan, a couple of extra inches in the right place... What was going on? As she spoke again, mentioning that this would be the first time she had seen a nude man, he snorted, but his voice would question it, breaking out of a trance, "Really?" as he slipped on the gown and sit on the table... "Ready..."

She returned the smile at him, soft as ever as she passed him the gown and he went around to get prepared. Ada would step aside and go over to a drawer to start picking through items in a drawer. Simple things. Just what she'd need for a primary check up. Hooking the stethoscope around her neck, she smiled at something he didn't say and laughed a little. Muttering a 'Maybe' under her breath. And maybe he was right, maybe he could only trust her and vice versa. She didn't have alot of options left. But what she read off him, that was enough to move and remind her of the course. As she donned a pair of blue gloves and adjusted her glasses, she answered him "Yes. They've had me here since I was a teenager. I didn't have the option to see a man. And more to the point," She laughed a little "None in the facility so far seem more interested in me than as a servant and experiment on occasion." She sighed but her smile remained. Her voice sounded almost sad but at the same time, accepting, humored almost. To the point in life that she had dealt with it for so long, that she was numb to the realities. "Don't worry," She continued as she started to lay out a syringe on a table by the exam bed. "They'll likely give you whatever you want, if you do as they ask. Including women." She snorted a bit. When he came up to the table and sat before her, she stepped up to him and put a hand on his back with the stethoscope in one ear and holding the end to his chest. Her bright eyes flicked over the tops of her glasses at him as she was nearly pressed close, counting quietly. "Just breath normally," She told him gently. @jakeybean

Fixing his body on the table and relaxing his body a little bit more, he could feel his blood pressure and heart rate beginning to rise as soon as his cheeks touched the cold examining table. He would sit there and listen to her request, trying his bed to stablize his breathing as she would begin whatever experiments she would have to do. "So, you have been locked in her this whole time as well?" he asked with a smile as she would begin, "Did you have powers or just... locked up?"
