Ben Costner, a greaser. Not something most of the population would come to like cause he looks like a criminal and would get them into trouble. (Your character), the princess. You were born into a rich family living comfortably without any care if any harm will come to you. Your Father owns a multimillion dollar company and your mother is a Lawyer, they are protective of you and are judgemental of the ones you bring home. Crest wood high school, the school where kids go to learn and get an education to help them further in life. Ben was in the same class with (your character) and they were the polar opposite, he loved to go out and fool around while (your character) was more conservative and didn’t care for such activities and frankly they didn’t like Ben cause of the pranks they pulled on others and you didn’t like that he jokingly flirts with you and frankly you didn’t like him. One night, the captain of the football team and a couple of his jock friends go up to you and start asking if you’d join them in a gangbang but you were disgusted and tried to leave but they wouldn’t let you and instead were going to have their way but Ben appears to ward them off fighting them and kicking them away for them to walk away groaning and grunting. Ben looks at (your character) then puts his signature leather jacket over you to cover your ripped clothes and would look at you. “You alright? Let me take you home.” How does the story go on further? Find out…

Ben would drive into school with his old looking truck but was running just great because he would be working on it nonstop to make it better. It was the typical lifted pickup with a loud engine and speakers To go with it as well to blast music on it. When he gets out he gets his bag and would pull pranks with the other kids and would soon come to class picking on some of his friends and would sit down next to the one girl he was sure he was going to have fun with ever since middle school.

Monica was driven to the occasion, of course she was essentially the popular girl of the school. She always looked her best and expensive, and she usually had someone with her to 'protect' her even. Sadly this night there was no one, but she didn't mind. Monica knew she didn't need anyone, she could usually use her bark to scare most away. Monica would step out wearing a pink knitted dress, with a white shirt underneath. A preppy look, and yet so simple and so glamourous. Monica always dressed up her looks with accessories and a bag, and heels, which she had not failed to do this time either. She didn't necessarily wantto be here, but she knew being here would bring attention to not only her, but also the game as people want to be interested in what she attended. @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben and Monica had known each other since middle school and they would give each other quips or insults while they would also give the occasional joking flirt cause they love to tease each other. Ben didn’t hate her but didn’t care for her as much as he should along with most of the school. The class bell rang and all the kids would go to their respective classes and Ben would be sitting at his desk just focusing on his drawing of his truck and all the parts he needed for it with estimates on how much it will Cost him too. He wasn’t mentally deficient by any means but he wasn’t Einstein material.

Monica smiled as she walked into her class, holding her binder as she entered. Of course people looked at her as she walked in, she had such a charm to her smile. Monica would entertain the class and give a random person a wink before sitting down at her desk, which of course was next to Ben. Monica took out her notebook to take notes during the class, even though she hated it. Her gaze shfited to Ben's drawing, brows furrowing in confusion. "Why are you drawing a truck?" @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben looks and nods as he showed her. “My truck to be exact.” He said as he looked at her. “How you doing princess, you look happy to be here.” He said as he looked at her and chuckled as he playfully teased her seein she wasn’t wanting to be here. “You look like you want to snap a neck.” He added while leaning over to her and looks at her. @lonidalegend

"Hm. Well, I'd rather be at home, getting my nails done or something. I dunno, I already know all this material here, it bores me." She shrugged, rolling her eyes at Ben. "If I could snap a neck, that wouldn't be very nice of me, now would it?" She joked back, shaking her head. Monica never, ever got physical with anyone. She always could hold an argument though, and that seemed to be enough. @Mando AKA Gavan

“Well you’re stuck with us till then.” Ben said teasing her laughing while he looked at her and class soon started and Ben would keep quiet for the most part before he’d pick on some people not doing anything to hurt them but annoy them. Soon enough he’d look at Monica and smirks as he pulled something out his pocket and he’d slide it on top of her notebook and it was a fake cockroach but it looked real and he waited to see her reaction. @lonidalegend

Monica hadn't been paying attention as she had checked her phone, either to take a snapchat or checking her makeup. When she put the phone down she was in for a surprise, a cockroach was on her notebook! Monica squealed and screamed out, jumping out of her desk and running a few feet away. "GET IT OFF MY DESK!! GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!!!" @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben laughed hard and held his stomach and pulled the fake cockroach off her notebook and then showed it was fake to her. “It’s a fake!” He laughed as he held his stomach as it was hard to breathe cause of the amazing reaction he got from Monica. Some classmates also laughed but also came to the defense of Monica calling Ben an asshole and other names but Ben was smiling through it cause he was having fun in a very boring class that needed a little livelihood, and Monica’s scream provided that. @lonidalegend

Monica sighed and grumbled under her breath, walking back to her desk and sitting down. "Very funny, Ben." She retorted, squinting at him. @Mando AKA Gavan

“It was very funny actually.” He laughed and looks at her as he smiled. “Come on I know you love me.” Ben said looking at her as he pressed his head on his hand and smiled a very goofy amused grin.

"Gross.." She rolled her eyes and chuckled under her breath, returning to her note taking. She would eventually folded a piece of paper into a paper airplane, tossing it at his desk. @Mando AKA Gavan

Monica hummed and circled yes, giving it back to him. She rolled her eyes and sighed, folding her arms. What could go wrong, they've known each other for ages and she didn't haven any plans either. @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben nodded smiling and puts the note away before he would finish his notes. Soon class had ended and everyone including Ben had left to go to their next class. Ben had told her to meet him after class at the Automotive shop where he was working on his truck finishing up something’s to get it running so he could drive them to the drive in theater. He was genuinely excited to have gotten her to come with, usually she’d say no or say she’s busy but tonight was different. @lonidalegend

And yeah, typically she would say no. Usually others would have asked her to do something or asked her out, but tonight she didn't really have much going on. She knew exactly where his shop was, and she was driven to there, getting out and seemingly wearing a more comfortable outfit. Some jeans, a decent shirt and a hoodie on, along with some pretty expensive sneakers.

Suddenly out of nowhere Jacob and four of his friends came out to greet Mariah, their breath’s stinks of alcohol and they were very much drunk. “Heya Monica, so we were thinking that you should hang with us and have some fun!” Jacob said as two boys wrap their arms around her neck and waist and they’d laugh very drunk. @lonidalegend

"Let me go, you idiots." She'd start to push them off and sigh. "You guys are drunk as hell, where's Ben?" @Mando AKA Gavan

“Ben? That fucking loser? Come on you can do better than that greaser.” Jacob said as he’d pull her shirt up and smirk. “Now come on baby show us the goods and we’ll have a great time.” @lonidalegend

"Hey! Let me go!" She'd begin to try to cover herself up and fight against them, needing to break away and get somewhere safe. Did Ben set her up? Does he not know? @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben would check his time and would sigh and begin to wonder where this girl was so he’d go around checking the school for where she was and would hear arguing and knew that had to be her. Two guys grab her arms forcibly and then held her so she wouldn’t resist as Jacob grabbed a knife to begin cutting her clothes off and they would all laugh and smirk. @lonidalegend

"Stop!! LET ME GO!" She'd yell at them, attempting to kick them off until a knife was in the picture. Tears were brought to her face as the knife cut down the middle of her hoodie and shirt. "Stop, please!" @Mando AKA Gavan

Jacob would soon also cut the middle of her bra and then then would smirk to pull her shirt off leaving her with no top. Soon after, someone pulled him away and punched him on his back and two of his friends would join to defend him but Ben beat them all with a wrench he had in his hand and they’d all run away and cower leaving Monica and Ben alone. Ben quickly pulled his leather jacket off his back and then pulls it over her torso zipping it up. His face is all bruised and battered but he was more worried about her. “Are alright? Are you hurt?” He asked worriedly

Monica burst into tears after Ben came to her rescue, sobbing as she had nearly dealt with much worse then she just did. When he asked her if she's okay, she shook her head. Monica felt so exposed, vulnerable and scared. Physically it seemed the worst that was done was some slight bruising from them holding her down. @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben immediately pulled her into a giant bear hug letting her know she was safe and that no one would hurt her when he was there and he’d Rock them from side to side as he coo’s to her to let it out and not to be scared anymore cause he was there for her. @lonidalegend

She would hug him tightly and cry into his shoulder. They had given each other a lot of hard times, but she knew that she was safe now. Her arms hugged him as her face was hidden. @Mando AKA Gavan

He would hold her tightly and close while he’d coo to her as they were sitting there. He gave her hard times and pranked her a lot but this time he was not going to pick or give her a hard time after having to go through such a traumatic event as before. “You’re alright, no one will touch you.” He told her @lonidalegend

Monica sniffled after she had started to finally calm down, catching her breath. "Can we...just...stay back? I don't really feel like going out now.." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben nodded as he looked at her. “Of course, we’ll stay as long as you need.” He told her and moved some hair out her face and looks at her checking on her. “I’m not going anywhere.” @Mando AKA Gavan

Monica smiled weakly and nodded. "Thank you. Um...what can we do? I kinda...don't wanna stick around here either..." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben thought and then looked at her. “My place? It’s my sister and my uncle and me so you’ll be safe. Plus my uncle was in the military so no one will fuck with you.” He said laughing and looking at her as he cupped her cheek checking her. “We can leave now.”

She nodded and smiled at him, feeling a lot better. "Thank you, also, Ben." Monica added, pulling him in for a hug once more. "Your place it is." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben nodded and gets up helping her up and then takes her to his truck where he would drive them to his place. His neighborhood was different from Monica’s, it was dirty, all the homes were rundown or abandoned, and there were as many people as there would be in rich neighborhoods. They arrived at his house which was a lot nicer and more built then the rest. Ben parks and goes to open Monica’s door and looks at her holding his hand out.

Monica was surprised at the condition of the homes. It made her a little sad, she wanted to help. Another time, though. When Ben got out and opened her door, she faintly blushed and took his hand, stepping out. "Wooooow, so gentleman-ly." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben laughs and closed the door before taking her inside where his uncle and sister sat at the living room watching tv. His sister was older then Ben but looked like him, and his uncle sat on the couch, and he looked to be in great shape given how old he was. His sister looked first before immediately going up to Monica and checked on her. “Are you alright miss?” She asked looking at her then Ben where she would scold him. “You didn’t do this did you? I swear Ben if I-“ “Whoa there sis, I saved her from a bunch of guys I didn’t do anything but beat the the hell out the dudes.” Ben and his sister bickered to each other.

Monica smiled to Ben's sister and nodded gratefully. "He saved me from a bad situation that certainly was going to get worse. Initially our plan was to hang out today and go to the movies. But...well, that desire has gone, and I'd rather...relax and feel safe." Monica smiled faintly as she looked between the two siblings. "Ben was the only guy that.. didn't do something to me, or was intending to." @Mando AKA Gavan

She looked at her and then ben and nodded as she looks at her and then said. “Oh where are my manners, I’m Stephanie. Nice to meet you. Let me get you something to wear.” She said and took her to her room where they wouldn’t get her new clothes to wear. Ben would hang back and get a drink from the fridge as he watched tv with their uncle and relax while the two girls get figured out on clothes. @lonidalegend

Monica would walk with his sister and got sorted our in something to wear. It wasn't perfect but it was better then what she had before. After a bit, the two walked back out, with Monica having a bag in her hands. She wore a slightly oversized shirt, not flattering at all and not her style. But she was grateful. "Thank you for your help, Stephanie. I can get this washed and returned to you in its best condition as soon as possible." @Mando AKA Gavan

“Oh don’t worry about it! I don’t wear it anymore so feel free to wear it till there’s a hole in it!” Stephanie smiled and looked at her while smiled. “Can I get you anything to drink?” She asked wanting her to feel comfortable since she was here and probably was going to be for a long time. @Mando AKA Gavan

Monica grinned and bowed her head in appreciation. "Thank you again. Uhm, water is just fine, please." She smiled again, idly rubbing her arm as her nerves were starting to build. @Mando AKA Gavan

Stephanie would go to get her water and come back as she’d smile giving it to her. “Here you go, sorry if it’s not cold we don’t have any ice.” She said apologizing. @lonidalegend

"Awh, it's okay. Thank you." She smiled again, sipping the water. "I appreciate the kindness, deeply."

She nodded and looked at Ben and their uncle watching TV then to her. “Ben hasn’t been bothering you too much has he?” @lonidalegend

She folded her arms to cover herself across her chest, and she shrugged. "I mean, he likes to pull pranks on me and others at school. And pick on me, and all that." She chuckled a little, smiling. "I'm sure he's better here though, at home." @Mando AKA Gavan

Stephanie rolled her eyes. “He’s the same here, he pulls pranks on us and it’s annoying.” She laughed and then softly sighed. “Though, he is a sweet kid. Just those pranks annoy me.” She said laughing. @lonidalegend

Monica grinned and shrugged, looking to Ben with a smile. "He is very clever with them sometimes, I'll admit." @Mando AKA Gavan

Steph nodded and chuckled. “Yeah they’re clever.” She giggled before Ben had come over to them.

Ben had walked up to them and smiled. “You girls going to join us at the living room?” He asked looking at them as they were talking to each other. @lonidalegend

"Ahh...sure. That sounds lovely, actually." Monica smiled to Ben, glancing at the TV. "What are we all watching?" @Mando AKA Gavan

“It’s a show called MASH, it’s my uncle’s favorite show.” Ben said as he would sit down as a seat and offered Monica a spot. @lonidalegend

"MASH?" She blinked and sat down next to him as the show played, somehow her nerves kept getting the better of her currently. Her mind kept drifting to the events earlier, and she kept reliving it. @Mando AKA Gavan

“It’s a good show.” Their uncle told them and then Ben would look at her as she sat next to him and sees she’s going back to the event earlier so Ben wrapped an arm around her shoulders and held her close. “Hey, it’ll be ok.” He said as he looks into her eyes. @lonidalegend

Monica nodded softly as he spoke of the show, smiling weakly. It was very difficult to pretend she was still okay with the situation still fresh in her mind. All she wanted to do was ball up and cry, but she was in the presence of others. She was the company, the guest in their home. Monica would wait until she was alone, most likely. But to her surprise, Ben comforted her, causing her to look over to him. He reassured her, which made her smile and...nearly crumble. Monica closed her eyes and let him comfort her, taking a few deep breaths to calm herself. @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben would hug her like he did again abs held her close to let her know she was safe and that she wouldn’t be hurt here at his house. He rubbed her back while hummed softly. He was doing his best to make her feel comfortable and loved after having to go such a traumatic. “You are safe here, no one will touch you.”

Monica smiled to herself as he comforted her, it felt so nice. His words hugged her heart, and before she knew it she had cuddled up to him and eventually even dozed off in his arms. @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben saw she had dozed off so he would pick her up to take her to his bed where he puts her on the sofa before putting the covers on her and would look down at her sleeping.

Monica wouldn't move an inch. It was a good thing she was such a heavy sleeper. The princess even snored and drooled, a little embarrassing... but she looked so peaceful like this. It wasn't often where she was able to fall asleep around Ben, in fear of being pranked. But...today was just a weird day anyhow. @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben would take a rag and wiped her drool before chuckling as he’d get up to turn the lights off and then left the room to go the living room to sleep on the couch so he could get some sleep. Good thing it was the weekend so he could sleep in as much as he wanted. @lonidalegend

Monica would lightly grumble at the act of her face being touched, but otherwise she stayed asleep. She would do so for...a few hours. Once she finally woke up though, she groaned and felt rather groggy. Monica slowly sat up and ran a hand through her hair, glancing around. She would then realize that she was in his room, but where did he go? @Mando AKA Gavan

The faint smell of breakfast was in the air as Stephanie was in the kitchen listening to music making eggs, bacon, pancakes and coffee. Something she has always done on weekends ever since she could hold a spatula. @lonidalegend

Ben was on the couch sleeping still as he was exhausted from last night and needed some sleep, their uncle would be at the dining table drinking coffee and reading the news paper.

Monica dragged herself out of the bed and wrapped a blanket around herself. She would carefully waddle herself downstairs and smile to Stephanie. "Hey, food smells good." @Mando AKA Gavan

Stephanie smiled and nodded. “Thank you, sit, I’ll make you a plate and some coffee. Cream and sugar?” She asked softly looking at Monica. @lonidalegend

Monica smiled and sat down, curling up in the blanket. "Yes, please. To it all." She'd laugh and sigh, glancing about. "How did you sleep?" @Mando AKA Gavan

“I slept ok, I have anxiety and night terrors sometimes so I barely get any sleep.” She said as she makes a big plate for her and some coffee before going to make way to put the food in front of her along with butter, syrup and ketchup for her food.

Uncle would look at the two and smile as he’d look at Monica. “How did you sleep miss?” Uncle asked looking at her as his deep voice filled the room with warm happiness. @lonidalegend

Monica looked over to his uncle and smiled, giving an appreciative nod. "I slept okay, it was a comfy sleep. How about you, sir?" She'd ask him politely, enjoying the smell of food and coffee right below her nose before taking a bite. @Mando AKA Gavan

“I slept just fine thank you.” Uncle said and then then smiled at her. “And you can call me uncle.” He added looking at Monica. @lonidalegend

"Oh! Well, thank you, Uncle." Monica giggled faintly, turning to start eating. She was realizing that those who are less fortunate...seem to be more caring and giving. The wealthy in her economic class couldn't compare to the hospitality and friendliess that existed here. She...really enjoyed it, and it made her want to help out. @Mando AKA Gavan

Steph would sit down and sigh while she drinks her coffee sighing happily and would look at Monica. “So Monica, you seem to the popular kid in class, what’s it like being the popular kid?” She asked teasingly as she probably hated it for the most part. @lonidalegend

Monica smiled faintly and shrugged. "It's...fine. It has its upside and downs, but. I could probably live without being the 'popular' girl." She'd answer, finishing up her food. @Mando AKA Gavan

Steph giggles and nodded as she took her plate and cleans up while she also gave her another cup of coffee. “Hey can you wake up the prankster on the couch before his food gets cold?” She asked politely while smiling. @lonidalegend

Monica accepted the cup of coffee and held them between her hands. She smiled up at Stephanie and nodded, her new missions was to wake him up. "Yeah sure!" Monica would then get up and head over to where he was sleeping, setting her mug down. She'd then reach over and gently shake his shoulder. "Wakey wakey, Ben. Foods ready." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben woke up and looked at Monica smiling and gets up groaning and stretching. “Morning everyone, morning uncle.” He said to everyone as he would go to start eating happily next to Monica. @Mando AKA Gavan

Monica smiled and sat down next to him after he did, drinking her coffee and yawning idly. "Well...I should probably head home after I drink this, you all have been kind enough to let me stay this long." @Mando AKA Gavan

Uncle would nod and smile. “It’s our pleasure having company here, and you’re more than welcome to come by anytime.” Uncle said as his smile came back with a warm feeling inside it.

Monica nodded, pulling out her phone and ordering an Uber of the highest tier. "No worries, I won't make anyone drop me off. I got a ride home." @Mando AKA Gavan

Uncle would tell her to save her money. “I’ll drive you home, no charge.” He said as he gets up and finished his coffee before he’d get up and go to get dressed.

Monica grinned and canceled her ride, setting her phone down. "You're too kind, thank you." She'd look to Ben and smiled warmly. "Well, hopefully the next few days aren't bad." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben smiled and would stand up to give her a bear hug before pulling away. “Don’t be a stranger.” He said and would wink at her gently too.

Uncle Came out all dressed and he had put his cowboy hat on and then smiled at Monica. “Ready?” Uncle asked looking at her. @lonidalegend

Monica hugged him back and giggled. "You are probably going to see me again soon, and if not in school dork." She reached up and ruffled his hair after rolling her eyes. She then looked to Uncle and smiled warmly. "Ready as I can be. Thank you all again!" She'd wave goodbye to Stephanie and Ben, getting whatever she needed before heading out with Uncle. @Mando AKA Gavan

He took her to his 67 ram truck that looked rusted and old but when it turned on it sounded like it was new. He gets her in the car and then drives her to her house while he’d talk to her about anything that came to mind for her. “I hope my nephew doesn’t do anything too far with his pranks.” He said looking at her and chuckled a bit. @lonidalegend

Monica got into his truck comfortably and relaxed. She chuckled with him as he brought up Ben, shrugging her shoulders. "Ah, he just messes around. He hasn't done anything too bad, really." @Mando AKA Gavan

“Good, I’ve trained that boy to be smart and not dumb, but if he does act dumb feel free to slap him on the shoulder for me.” He told her and smiled as he laughed before sighing focusing on the drive. “I feel that he has been affected by their parents death more than Stephanie was.” He said very sadly,

She'd grin until the mentions of their parents had passed. "Oh...I...didn't know this...I feel so terrible for them." @Mando AKA Gavan

“My sister and brother in law were driving home when they were struck by an on coming car.” Uncle said as he looked at her. “My Niece had to fill in a lot of shoes to become the new woman of the house. Even dropped out of school to help around the house, but my nephew took it the hardest and began to do pranks for attention.” He explained as he was sad about the whole thing. “But don’t let that strain the fact that he’s a good kid at heart.” He adds @lonidalegend

Monica smiled warmly to him as he explained it all to her. She felt bad... And then she decided to do some good for once. Once they finally pulled up to her house, she looked to the man. "Stay put for a second, I'm going to get you something." And she would bolt off into her home, as soon as the door was opened for her. @Mando AKA Gavan

He stayed there as he was wondering what she was getting him as he was never given anything except on special occasions. @lonidalegend

Monica grinned to herself and headed up to her room, breaking into her...well. Money. When she finally came back outside, she had her hands behind her back and walked to the driver's side. "I've known Ben for a long time. And...I didn't realize his struggle. I've lived a very, very grateful and privileged life, I've never had to worry about a thing." She would move her hands from behind her back, revealing a stack of cash. "It's one thousand dollars. It's upsetting how...this isn't much to me but this could benefit all three of you so much. Please, take it. I won't take no for an answer." She smiled at Uncle, hoping this was the right move. @Mando AKA Gavan

Uncle looked at the money abs would be just dumbfounded and surprised she would ultimately pull a thousand for some people like Ben. Uncle simply took it and nodded. “It will all go towards good things for Ben I promise you.” He smiled and then pulled her into a big hug that was filled with love and warmth

"It's nothing too crazy, I assure you. I just..I know I can help and I want to. If you guys need anything please don't hesitate to let me know." Monica smiled wildly and hugged him back as tightly as she safely could. "I know Ben and I have our own weird bickering and whatever, but seeing how kind you all are. How helpful you guys are despite the situation, I wanna help." Monica nodded and confirmed this once the hug broke. "Okay enough sappy stuff! Drive safe and I'll be around!" @Mando AKA Gavan

“Alright sweetheart. See you around.” Uncle said and waved as he drove away to go back to his home with Ben and Stephanie waiting for him. Uncle would give him the thousand dollar and would be so taken back from her kindness that he had to do something about it. @lonidalegend

Ben smiled and then would finish fixing his truck after reading her text and soon would go to the roof off his building to have a bit of peace and quiet so he can secretly smoke. His sister didn’t like that he smoked and his uncle didn’t approve of it either but it helped him get stress off his chest. Monday It was Monday morning and Ben’s face was bruised up and his knuckles were too after the beating he gave to the jockeys that were harming Monica. Kids were whispering to each other looking abs pointing at Ben and he wouldn’t take it seriously cause he knew it didn’t matter. He gets to class and would go to his desk seeing that Monica wasn’t at her desk. @lonidalegend

Monica had been hurriedly getting ready for school, she woke up late! She stayed up researching self defense classes or if there was something to do simply at home. Before she knew it, she slept through her alarm and was late. Monica eventually got there though, only a few minutes before class actually started. She hurried in and bowed her head to the Professor as an apology, then making way to her seat. "Phew.." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben would look at her and chuckle before looking at her. “Just in time, what happened to you?” He asked looking at her. “You were barely here in time, when I’m the last one to arrive.” He teased with her while looking at her and leaned his head on his hand. @lonidalegend

Monica would sit down hurriedly and glance at Ben when he spoke up. She shrugged gently and smiled, seemingly playing it off that she was late. Though it was kinda a big deal, she was never late! "Uh just...slept in, you know? It happens." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben would chuckle and shake his head. “It’s unusual is all, but if you say so.” Ben laughed as class started and the teacher began his lesson. It was like any other lesson and Ben would pay attention to it as well as Monica, something about her, was luring him and he didn’t know why. No, did he develop feelings? Monica shrugged and smiled widely. "It's nothing serious, no sweat." She would then start taking notes as the class started. At one point, she tossed a note onto his desk. Ben looked at the note and laughs quietly while he looked up at her before he’d write on the note tossing it back on her desk, acting like he didn’t do anything. All good, sis and Uncle gave me an earful of putting myself in danger, nothing new. Wanna hang tonight? the note read.

Ben took the thing she gave him and the note while he’d think and smiled before he’d write what he wanted to say. He gave her an eraser and the note. How about dinner at the diner? I’ll pay for it of course @lonidalegend

Monica smiled and looked up to double-check that the teacher hadn't noticed yet. How they haven't was a miracle... She would look back down and write her response, glancing over at Ben briefly with another grin. Sounds perfect to me. What time? Am I meeting you there? Ben also checked if the teacher noticed but didn’t, which is a very big miracle. 7:30, and I’ll pick you up He slipped it one final time and would smile at her before returning to his school work. It was a good day for him having just give a beating to the jocks and everyone at school was talking about it, cheering him on, and even some of the popular kids were talking to him and how the jocks that assaulted Monica weren’t coming back after all that had happened. That made him feel good knowing he did his job.

Monica smiled at him, returning to her notes and trying her best to focus on the class. It was hard now, was this like....a date? The rest of the day went fairly smoothly, she even saw him at her locker as he passed, giving him a wave. When she got home it was time to figure out what to wear! It’s good, sis and Uncle have been getting me ready for tonight, like I’m going to have dinner with the President when I look ridiculous I said as I was getting my hair pulled by my sister as she cleaned it, straightened it, and Jelled it back, and Uncle gave me some old clothes of his that fit me well, it was his denim pants and jacket with a white shirt under the jacket. She admitted with a soft laugh, rubbing the back of her neck. When they got situated in the theater, he hit her with a question she didn't really think much about yet. "Oh...wow. “Well I’m not going to college, as much as Uncle and sis want me to. I don’t want to financially burden them. I think I’m going to go full time into my auto shop so I can make the money for them.” Ben said as he looks at her and eats some pop corn thinking a bit while he stayed in the moment with her. “Plus I don’t really fit the college scene. I mean I’m a greaser, most people would look at me and say “nope goodbye!”, he laughs at that sentence before he’d eat some of his Reese’s pieces.

It was a day Monica had been looking forward to. She had gotten all dressed up to go with her girlfriends, wearing a long and flowy blue dress. Comfortable, easy to dance in, and just beautiful! The dance itself was semi-formal, because who wanted a formal one? So people of all types dressed in all different ways, so thankfully Monica didn't stand out too much...just a tad. The night was half over, but she lost her friends. "Guys? Cherry? Jessica? Angelina?" But they were nowhere to be found. She sighed, a bit discouraged, and got up off the floor, walking to get herself something to drink. As she sat down and drank some punch, her eyes continued to scan the room...and found someone else alone. He leaned against the wall, seemingly not interacting with...anyone? Monica took the opportunity to approach, giving a shy wave. "Hey. Alone too?" @Mando AKA Gavan

“Well it’s got a bit of a kick with a slow burn. But I put some mixer in there to make it sweet so there won’t be much of a burn.” Ben said while he handed her the flask. “You sure you want to try it?” He asked to make sure not wanting to pressure her. @lonidalegend

Monica smiled a bit, a little amused. Did he think she couldn't handle it? Well...he might be right. But she's here to have some fun. "Of course I do." Monica took the flask and then took a swig, but after a few seconds after swallowing, she had gotten full body chills. Ben likely seeing her shudder, clear her throat and hand it back. Monica smiled and looked for something to lean on, doing just that. "I hear you there. It's never fun partying alone. Monica was surprised at his confirmation. She listened intently, idly smiling as he told his story about him and his friends, hearing all the good things. She secretly wished that her and her girlfriends had a sliver of something like that...to be truthful it wasn't even close. Ben laughed as she said that but nods. “Anything to help our friends out. Fighting, paying something, food, anything, nothing too little or too great for us.” He said to her very wisely, even though he doesn’t look like someone the average person would think he’s smart. @lonidalegend

Ben nods smiling a bit before leading her inside. They get back to the dance floor where all the lovers and dance partners were slow dancing with each other, some awkwardly keeping distance but the others embraced each other. Ben stopped to look at Monica as he smiled and held his hands out. “May I have this dance?” He asked laughing a bit. @lonidalegend

Monica spotted one of her girlfriends...dancing with her ex. Monica rolled her eyes, looking to Ben once they found a spot on the dance floor. She chuckled with him, taking his hands. "I would be honored." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben also saw his date getting handsy with the football captain and he saw them before he’d advert his attention to Monica only as he takes the lead in the dance as he held her right hand and held her hip keeping that from reaching anywhere else but there. @lonidalegend

Monica smiled faintly and followed his lead, but she sighed faintly. Talking to him quietly. "Looks like we both saw something we didn't want to, huh?" @Mando AKA Gavan

He smiled as he chuckled too before he would hear the music stop and then turn into more up beat music again and eventually all the people began to get more rowdy, Ben didn’t mind it but he figured he had enough of it to want to leave. “Well I think everyone is going to find their way back, do you want me to drop you off? Or are you going to stay a little longer?” He asked not wanting to force her to leave. @lonidalegend

Monica glanced around and noticed the music started to kick up again. She then rose an eyebrow and contemplated her decision, she didn't have a ride out of her afterall. Monica sighed in defeat and then looked to Ben. "I can take a ride, sure. I rode with the girls but they're all off doing something." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben nods as he leads Monica to the outside. When they were out he began to loosen his collar, taking his tie off, and then took off his blazer holding it over his shoulder while he looked over at her. “If you wanted to stay you could, but I’m kinda glad you’re coming, driving alone is a bit, well you know..” he laughed as he looked at her. @lonidalegend

She looked at him and smiled, shuddering as the cool air hit her skin. Monica shrugged though. "Ah, I wasn't gonna stay if you were leaving, probably. You were the only person that seemed to care, you know?" @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben actually did care seeing her alone as much as he was so he figured it was the right thing to hang out with her. He puts his warm jacket over the girl’s shoulders before smiling. “Wouldn’t want you to catch a cold.” He said smiling a very sweet gentle smile to her. @lonidalegend

Ben shrugged has he opened the door to his car for her while he said. “Never occurred to me, plus the girls around school kinda don’t like me cause I talk trash about Brandon.” He said referring about the captain of the football team. “One girl said to me once that I’m just jealous that he’s more handsome than I will be. I laughed in her face and said well at least I have more brain than he does for braun.” His laugh was good hearty laugh that he truly was amused. @lonidalegend

Monica smiled at him and carefully got into his car, sitting there as he spoke. Her brows furrowed, she could recall that quite a few girls gossiped a lot, and his name had come up a few times. Along with Brandon and the football team in general. She rolled her eyes and shook her head. "I swear those girls have nothing better to do. They just come to me all the time because I can pay for stuff. I really need better friends, honestly." She sighed a bit, but she was glad he didn't seem too bothered by all that. @Mando AKA Gavan

He closed the door as he told her. “Well you have me now, I’m sure me and my friends wouldn’t mind someone new.” He told her while he goes to the driver seat sitting down and starts the car. His car was an old beat up El Camino but it sounded brand new, he knew his way around an engine. “But you’re right, those girls haven’t a brain in between their ears.” He said while he starts driving. The drive was long but it was a smooth calm ride to her house first. @lonidalegend

Monica smiled warmly at him and then got herself buckled after securing jacket on her person. She watched him start up the car, a bit impressed with how it sounded. Monica giggled at his commented about the girls, relaxing in the seat as she gently removed her heels, they were killing her feet. "Yeah, I dunno what they think they're doing, and what they're gonna do in life. But that's not gonna get them far." @Mando AKA Gavan

“They’ll go places, not far but places at least.” Ben laughs while he kept his eye on the road. In other circumstances most people would have tried to make moves on Monica for being a beautiful young woman, but Ben wasn’t such people. He seemed, different than the rest, like he knew how to act proper and respect the person next to him by not making such moves or comments on her. “But in any case, you seem to have more intelligence and wits then they do.” He told her having said the biggest compliment to her while not batting an eye. @lonidalegend

Monica laughed with him and nodded in agreement even. "Yeah, that's for sure." And typically, she would have to fight off guys at this point. Telling them no, rejecting hookups, all that. And she felt like this was a breath of fresh air, she had that anxiety for a moment, like she was waiting for the dreadful comment. But it didn't happen, in fact he gave her such a nice compliment that she blushed and peeled her gaze off of him. "O-oh, well thank you..." Monica shyly tucked some hair behind her ear as she tried to compose herself. "You're far nicer then a lot of guys I'm used to.." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben smiled gently. “Good, cause I’d rather be who I truly am than be fake.” He told her while he looked at her for a second before turning his eyes back on the road. “I’ve seen what fake people are like, some of them really like to go behind you and jab you with a burned up needle.” He told her very stoically, it sounded a bit cheesy but he didn’t care at all. @lonidalegend

She turned her head to look at him with a more concerned expression on her face now. "Have you been jabbed, Ben?" Monica asked cautiously, not wanting to upset him. "I think I have, even tonight..." @Mando AKA Gavan

“Not physically, that was another time, metaphorically I have been many times.” He said as he sighed. “Not even the girl who I thought I liked didn’t want to go because it would damage her reputation. So that’s just one of the instances.” Ben said but never spoke about more, not wanting to open that door again. @lonidalegend

She pouted and reached out to pat his shoulder for a moment. "You're a good guy, Ben. I can see that. Even if you haven't done great things. I...would like to be your friend. I don't care about reputations. You seem great." She smiled at him, hoping that all wasn't too much. @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben’s warm smile came out again and he would touch her hand with his as he held it gently yet happily while he looked at her. “I’m glad, that does sound like a good deal.” He said looking into her eyes again meeting her gaze, his hazel eyes could be seen by the passing cars. @lonidalegend

Monica oddly enough had brown eyes, maybe she wasn't a natural blonde? Her darker roots maybe gave that away. But she smiled at him, not minding that he held her hand gently. "What is your friend group like? What do you all do?" @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben continues to drive before letting go of her hand as he told her. “We’re all mechanics oddly enough.” He chuckled. “But we are true to heart gas monkeys, we’ve even been one to have one of those races around town in remote areas so no one would get hurt, well except maybe their money and pride.” He laughs at that while humming a musing tone. @lonidalegend

Monica let go as he did, returning her hand to her lap. She listened happily, she had never been to a race around here. It was fun to hear, and she liked that they were all mechanics. Having friends that actually were productive with similar hobbies sounded lovely. "When's the next race? Maybe I can come out and watch? It sounds like a ton of fun." “This Sunday actually at the old canal, we’re going to have have a lot of people come out.” He said very excitedly while he would also add. “But you should come, I heard that Brandon is going to be there. And, he was going to put in a lot of money to beat me.” He laughed knowing he was going to win by land slide because he was confident. @lonidalegend ((Gn! Monica quirked a brow at that, humming in amusement. "Yeah? I'd like to see you kick his ass. That would be fun. Count me in, I'll be there." She smiled to him, admiring his laugh. @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben chuckled as he finished his drink before sighing and thinking to himself for a moment. “You wanna do something fun?” He asked looking at her smirking a mischievous smile. @lonidalegend

"Something fun? With that grin?" Monica chuckled at him, and then gave him a faint smirk. "What do you have in store, huh? Gonna get me in trouble?" @Mando AKA Gavan

“Only if we get caught.” Ben said chuckling a mischievous laugh before he’d tell her in her ear. “I know a friend who’s holding a party, and it’s a lot more fun than this.” He told her while he pulled away looking at her. “And don’t worry, I won’t get you into trouble.” @lonidalegend

Monica smiled a bit more nervously now. She felt a few chills as he spoke in her ear, and she glanced around before her eyes met his. "Do you promise? Because if I get in trouble, I'm dead." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben crossed his heart and then held his hand in the air as he said softly. “Cross my heart and right hand to god, You will not get in trouble. Besides, we won’t force you to do soma you’re not comfortable with.” Ben said truthfully and honestly, he’s daring but isn’t willing to make someone do something that might be inappropriate for another. @lonidalegend

Monica grinned at him, eyeing him over and watching him make this promise. She contemplated this for a minute, glancing around where they were. It was...kinda lame. And if this other party is better like he says? "...Alright. I'm in." @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben smiled as he nodded and waved her to follow him, where they made their way out the prom. Unbeknownst to both of them Brandon, the captain of the football team, saw them leave and felt a pang of jealousy over Ben, maybe he’ll get back at him another day. Ben gets her to his car, an old beat up looking El Camino before opening the passenger door for Monica. “After you.” @lonidalegend

Monica followed him out, using a hand to keep her dress in place as she walked. When they approached the car, she smiled and carefully got in after he opened the door for her. "Awh, thank you." Monica blushed faintly, totally unaware that Brandon had seen them leave. @Mando AKA Gavan

Ben closed the door and then slid across the hood before getting into the driver seat laughing a bit before starting the car. “I always wanted to do that.” He chuckled. @lonidalegend

Monica laughed as he slid across, looking to him as he got in. "It looked fun. Is it as easy as it looked too?" She teased, glancing to the hood and then back to him. @Mando AKA Gavan

“Just a little, I’ll teach you one day of you want.” He said before starting the drive to the other party. The drive was smooth and calm, slow music playing on the radio it was a perfect night to drive and be out and about. @lonidalegend

Monica loved cat rides. They always seemed so calming, and this was no different. She felt safe and at ease with him. "So, Ben. Tell me something about yourself." @Mando AKA Gavan

“What would you like to know?” Ben asked curiously looking at her and then the road. “Im an open book.” He added as he stopped at a red light then looked at her for that duration. @lonidalegend

Monica blushed a little and then broke the eye contact, as she asked this question. "What would you like do to, moving forward in life? If you could do anything?" @Mando AKA Gavan

“You know…I haven’t thought about it all that much.” He said as he leaned back in his seat. “I guess college, but to be honest with you, I don’t think college is right for me. I know how to make money and make sure my family gets the money I earn to keep us afloat.” He told her as he said this very personal story to her having not told anyone except his friends. @lonidalegend

"Yeah? College is kinda expensive though. I get that. I...kinda am expected to go to college? But I'm not sure I want to, you know?" @Mando AKA Gavan

“I think that’s up for you to decide. College isn’t for everyone so you don’t have to, as long as you find a way to make money to provide then I think there’s No worries.” Ben said looking at her smiling a bit.

Monica shrugged at that, unsure of herself. "Mm...maybe...it's a difficult decision." She would look around while they rode in the automobile, wondering what kind of party they would attend. She had never been to something like this before and was anxious about it. She felt a mixture of dread and excitement as they drove closer.
