He couldn't remember the last time he enjoyed being in this town.. When he had last been here, it had been having a bad argument with his father about not taking up the family trade of tending to the community.. But that just wasn't who he was. He was an artist, dammit! And it certainly showed, with his unusual clothing and flashy, hand-crafted jewelry that had a style all to their own. Long, brightly colored sleeves hid tattoos all along his arms that just barely poked out on his wrists, and a heavy bag jingled with the sound of all kinds of metal to it.
..Something about this town just.. felt like home, though. The sights, the sounds, the smell of home-cooked food.. Though.. There was an air of coldness. Not as much of the heat and joy from his family's efforts, compared to when he left.. Had they passed while he was gone? That was weird.. His parents weren't that old. Maybe somethin' happened.
Hopefully not, though.
Then, he heard a voice that he hadn't heard for a long, long time, and he turned. A smirk creeped onto his face, and then he walked over, putting an arm over Aurora's shoulder in a side hug. "Hey there, pipsqueak. You've grown quite a bit since we've last talked." Then he noticed Kalor, and held his fist out. "Hey there, my man. Lookin' snazzy. I dig the suit."
