As quickly as she was grabbed, the man who held her wrist released her unleashed his iron grip from her. Someone came up beside him and whatever they did or said, it frightened him to his core. He mumbled the name of the man, but she couldn't catch it. Daz? Chaz? No... It...It couldn't be...
She pulled her hand around her wrist, a weak whimper leaving her lips. Her wrist was already red and she was certain a bruise was going to form. She looked up at the man, her eyes narrowing as she went to yell at the man, but, before she could even utter a single word, her eyes landed on her 'savior.' Her eyes widened. "K...Kaz..." Kaz. Her best friend from childhood. But, instead of a hug or kind words like the average person would, Kaz snarled at her! His voice was rough, harsh, and deep. It sent a confused shiver up her spine.
Kaz looked great. He was handsome, tall, and muscular. He grew up handsomely, and while she changed too, it felt like she was back all those years ago, watching him leave her... sobbing and begging him not to leave her. But, now he was here, and he was angry.
Her blue eyes immediately filled with tears. All this time... all these years... after everything he did with her. After what he said to her... this was how he greeted her? "Good to see you too, Kaz." She hissed. She rubbed her wrist, the tears that stung her eyes immediately falling. "I'm so fucking stupid for thinking you'd actually be happy to see me if we ever saw one another again. God, I am so fucking stupid..." She hissed bitterly. She gathered her belongings and swiftly turned, her long ashy blonde hair swishing against her back as she quickly rushed out of the bar. The night air was cold and it stung her lungs. But, as she stepped outside, she let out a pained sob. "Fuck you, Kaz.." She sobbed.
