He had lost count for how long he's been down here a long time ago. How long has it been now? Years? Ages? Centuries? Millennials? All those years sealed away underground had made him lose track of time. Was it day or night? It didn't matter anymore. Down here surrounded by all this earth it made no difference. Behind thick bars, he was bound in thick heavy black chains that hung from above the ceiling, keeping his arms spread apart, leaving his body almost completely exposed hanging forward. His long and dirty black hair had grown all the way that it was covering the floor around him. Few more black heavy metal chains wound up his chest, keeping him in place, unable to move. But the true thing that kept him in place was the enormous magic circle drawn around him. Filled with ancient runes and spells and symbols, it had him trapped beneath the earth without any of his power to free himself. He was alone in this dark hole, cut off from the rest of the world. He had almost given up, until he heard footsteps… @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Footsteps. The echoing of many heavy footsteps. Rhythmic steps, the steps of a freshly trained guard. Kazimir stared up at the ceiling idly, wondering if it would ever just cave in and crush them. Now that would be the life. Instant death, at least if it fell directly onto him and crushed him. Better than the death he was sure they had allotted for him. After all, he hadn't been given a hearing at all. Were they to give him parole, he knew not. Even the idea of being allowed to see the outside world again seemed grim. After all, he knew not how long it had been since he had been there. He had gotten himself sent straight to solitary confinement after his fitful first entrance and ever since he had found it hard to distinguish between the stale meals they offered him. A pained cough escaped his mouth as he shifted slightly in the cell, his body feeling sore in a way he had never known it to feel. He had always been rather fit. Fit enough to keep the masts in the correct direction and to climb any post he may need to in order to straighten the sail when it got caught. He was sure they were doing fine without him. After all, sailors were replaceable in the view of most of society. There would be another young chap that could easily stand in for him. Course, his experience was helpful, but it didn't make him irreplaceable. Like any other, should they give it a week, someone else would eagerly slide in and take his position. His attention shifted as the door creaked open and a light flooded into his eyes. In front of him stood a young man of 24 or so, greener than the grass in spring. He supposed it was his footsteps who he had heard, after all, judging from the way that he walked, he had only left training recently. He still cared about the marches he had been taught, potentially unconsciously falling into the same steps he had practiced many a time. "Come on out. Your time is up." He noted before grabbing him by the arm and hoisting it up. "Don't know how ya do i

t... solitary confinement, that is." The young man spoke as he walked, clearly empathizing a bit too much for a guard. "Nasty business, innit. Loneliness gnawing away like you like the drumstick of a rotisserie chicken." Kazimir paused and furrowed his eyebrows, "Was just fine." Kazimir wasn't sure why guys like this got into rough business. It was dirty. His eyes still had kindness in them. Wait until he found out just how many innocent men he was working with. It would make him sick. He was sure a kid like this hadn't even realized it. After all, they had crimes behind their names whether they were the true perpetrator or not. Whether they were the villain or not, it was they who had been convicted. Burglary and cuckoldry. That was his fore claimed crime. It was almost laughable. Sure, he had slept with the broad but he hadn't stolen anything from her and he certainly hadn't been aware that she was married. After a moment of walking behind the guard, Kazimir stopped, shifting and pulling his arm away from the guard, "Mind giving me a moment... cramped in that solitary confinement, it is... Feel all stiff... Mind letting me stretch real quickly? Everything hurts from my neck all the way down to my toes."
13:43
"Course." He noted, obliging the prisoner despite all his training had ever prompted him to do. Perhaps that was why not ten minutes later he was running after the young prisoner. Kazimir had made a bolt for it. He wasn't sure where he was running, but he had a feeling that if he kept running, he may potentially find the exit of this god forsaken place. After all, the place was hardly easy to navigate. Kazimir bet that even the guards would have a tough time navigating it from within. He had seen a few pull out maps as if it would help. "OI!" The sound of the young guard yelling echoed behind him as he ran through the hallways, glancing at the other prisoners who stared longingly. Many glared in jealousy while a few stared on as if they knew they were never going to see light again. Yet the longer he ran, the deeper inside of the prison he found himself. It was 15 minutes before he entirely lost the guard, 15 more minutes before he stopped running. "Fuck this..." He muttered under his breath, tiredly leaning forward and glancing towards the side to see a young man entirely chained up from within his cell. "The hell did you do to deserve that?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows as he attempted to squeeze through the thick bars. "Did something bad, did'ya?" He asked again, walking along the cell and glancing towards the magic circle on the ground, "Strange drawsings..." he noted, raising an eyebrow as he curiously wondered the case of the young man. @Matcha Latte MJ🍵

It had been a while since he last heard footsteps, let alone that someone had talked to him. Usually Noone would come to see him. Most of the guards didn't even know that someone was locked in those ancient depths of this prison. He opened his eyes, keeping his head low as his deep voice rang through the dark depths of his cell. "Who is the one to define what is good and what is bad? It is but only a pathetic mortal construct of the human mind to justify their deeds." He was talking slowly, exhausted. His voice sounded sore, as if he hadn't spoken in a long time. Slowly he looked up to take a look at the man who stood in front of the distant bars of his cell, the chain around his neck rattling slightly as he moved his head. His dark eyes peeked through the black long hair strings which partly covered his face. "You don't look like one of the guards. How did you get out of your cell?" @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Kazimir Galas. The young prisoner who stood in front of the cell was named Kazimir Galas. He stood at about 5'11 and had a slightly mischievous air to him, perhaps that was due to the fact that he was entirely unattended at this point. He wore the typical prison garb of a dark gray pants and a paler gray shirt, the same as every other prisoner. On the left chest of the shirt was a number signifying his ID as a prisoner. 54601. Down his back cascaded a tumble of black hair that was knotted into a messy braid that his hair seemed to struggle to remain in. He probably hadn't redone it in several days. And while he was relatively dirty, he seemed strangely attractive, his lips tugging into a smile as he looked at the young man prisoner. Who is the one to define what is good and what is bad? Kazimir knew who it was. Or at least who claimed to have the power to do so. The church. The nobility. Two groups that he could see offed at a moments notice. In his mind there wasn't a singular church member that deserved to survive. They were twisted souls who liked to play god. Rather, they liked to play Apostle to God and they surely weren't pious enough to be the servant of any God they had claimed existed at one point in time. Kazimir didn't believe in such Gods. He was sure they didn't exist. As the same to their likeness of angels and devils. They surely were just concepts made to scare people away. "Course it is. Funny how they claim to revere the Gods and yet they pretend to have the same power as them, is it not?" He chuckled, shaking his head as he walked to the closer side of the cell. "Assholes they truly are." He grumbled, frustrating continuing to boil up from within him. "Assholes and liars." He muttered once more. His attention only was regained as he noted that he didn't look like a guard. Course, he wasn't a guard. "Oh uh well I simply took my chances." He noted, "Nothing all that special, just tricked a newbie. They aren't all that smart, after all."
02:39
He noted with a sly smirk, "Bet I could even get you outta there should I wish." He grinned, "Course, I don't know what you did so... I probably shouldn't. Don't want to get murdered, ya know." @Matcha Latte MJ🍵

He watched the human from the end of his cell, amused by the way he held an obvious grudge against the church. He could feel it. A grudge that he shared with him. This human seemed promising… "It appears as if we have one thing in common. I can feel your hatred towards the church. Corrupted pig priests reigning and acting in the will of their false gods, not deserving to wander on this earth, but rather burn in the fiery pits of hell." Arioch spoke slowly, fueling his words with parts of his own spite, choosing them carefully to get into the boy's favor, although they were no complete lie of course. "I can help you. The only thing you have to do is to set me free." He added after a moment of silence, his spoken words lingering in the air around him. "A sort of…deal." At his last word, an almost unnoticeable spark of red stole its way into his eyes, indicating that there might be more behind this deal that one might assume at first. @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Criminal or not. Honestly Kazimir no longer knew. After all, he wouldn't be surprised if there were others who had been falsely charged. It was easy to be charged for a crime that you didn't do when there were no hearing. No one to confirm their side of the story. No one to validate the truth. There was no justice in a world like this. Of course, the court would disagree. After all, the only justice in their eyes was the justice of God, and the justice of God could only be defined by those who served him. His gaze shifted on the man, watching the way he shifted his weight against the painful looking chains, the way they coiled along his arms and held him there. He was sure they hurt. He was sore simply from sitting in the small cramped confinements of his time spent in solitary confinement. If that had made him uncomfortable, he couldn't imagine the worlds of pain that must've ran through his bones. Even a few days in the position would have been painful and yet, something about the man's posture told him that he had potentially been there much longer than that. He wasn't wrong. Corrupted pig priests reigning and acting in the will of their false Gods. The thought had wandered his mind many a day. Even moreso now that those false Gods had condemned him. If there was a God, would they truly allow an innocent man to be condemned to live the life of a criminal while he had done no wrong? Surely he wouldn't. No. It wouldn't. Who even claimed that Gods took on the same form as a human being? Kazimir thought it strange. After all, humans were flawed creatures in his eyes. He shifted on his feet and looked towards the man, "Can you?" He asked, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. While curious, it was clear that he was not in any singular way sold on making a deal with this man. "How can you help me?" He questioned, slowly walking the perimeter of the cell with a calculated pace. "Didn't tell me how you got in there either. Guess you're avoiding the topic?" He ask

ed as he stretched his arms above his head tiredly and let out a yawn. He stretched his neck to the side lazily and looked upon the Devil with a smirk, clearly teasing him. His eyes followed the human along the bars, seeing that he was still skeptical. He had to be more convincing, tempting him more. He could only give him a taste of his true self if he broke the magic seal. "I can help you to break out of this prison, to fulfill the justice you have been longing for for such a long time." He promised, his voice sore as he pulled the chains and his arms closer to himself. The sound of chains rattling bounced off the side of the walls, making them sound louder even just with minimal movement. "In the same way as you did." He replied to the question how he got locked in this deep in the prison in the first place. "I have spent ages in this cell, tricked by the same people who charged you for a crime when the fault lies on someone else's shoulders." His gaze wandered down to the wide circle around him, clearly out of reach for him with his current restrictions. "Those symbols are the only things that bind me to this place rather than those." He continued, as he tugged more on his chains at the end of his sentence. "They are the true reason why I am unable to free myself." He looked back up at the human, a small grin forming on his lips as he gleamed into his direction, the hint of red now slightly more noticeable if the boy had good eye seight. "You need only break one of them to set me free. A small price to pay for the retribution you seek, would you not agree?" @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Justice. Kazimir's gaze shot back towards the man as he spoke, pondered how he could help him and even promised something that no one had ever promised him before. To help him with his cause. Since he had been imprisoned, all whom he had spoken to had scoffed at him. Some even dared to tell him it wasn't worth it, he'd just be playing into their hands and committing the crime that he hadn't. Or worse. He'd simply land himself a spot at the hangings if he wasn't careful. As if he wasn't aware of that. Yet that didn't mean it wasn't a worthwhile risk. Die in here or out there? He'd rather take out there whether it meant being lynched or not. Kazimir raised an eyebrow as the chains rattled against the walls, "Man hush!" He urged him, his gaze flicking over his shoulder to ensure that no guards were coming. "Not like I got permission to be here on a wellness visit or anything!" He rolled his eyes, running a hand through his hair. "Sure they've got people looking all over this place for me by now... kid was green but I doubt he's dumb." He muttered, shaking his head as he looked back towards him, trying to relax a bit despite being a bit on edge. "Course ya did..." He shook his head, rolling his eyes in annoyance. "They really are the worst. Deserve to rot in the deepest pits of hell. Just fucking imagine it!" He laughed, amused by the idea of so called saints being condemned to a life in the pits of hell. Of course, he wasn't sure there even was such a thing, but it'd be amusing if there was one. He didn't believe in that stuff typically but for his own amusements sake, he would humor the idea for the moment. "Those symbols huh?" he looked at the marks, his eyebrows raising in curiousity. "So... I don't need to even get in there to..." He noted, almost teasingly slipping his leg between the bar and poking his toes near the mark before pulling it away. "Well... You know, I can't fight this fight alone. And you've got stake in this battle too... after all, how long
13:41
have they held you captive down here...?" He asked, almost as if it was a theoretical question before he slid his foot forwards again, smudging the mark with a wink. "That all it take?" @Matcha Latte MJ🍵

He raised an eyebrow, chuckling at how the human shushed him silent as if fearing to summon the rage of the gods. "Then I would make haste and free me already" he urged the young man. At his comment of how long he'd been here he tsked. "You have no idea." That all it takes? "Yes" the man said with a growing chuckle in his chest as he bend his head forward. Black smoke started to rise in the air from the edges of the broken seal and from the floor beneath the chained man. He could feel his long lost power searing through him, greeting him like an old friend as the smoke began to thicken around him, wrapping him into a blanket of darkness for a brief moment before something else happened. With the sound of breaking metal chains he pulled his arms free with ease, a sign of inhuman strength. But it should be obvious at this point that this man was no human, but something ancient, as old as the beginning of time. "Finally. After all this time." He made the rest of his heavy metal chains snap with the same ease as he began to straighten up, rolling his head and stiff shoulders still covered partly in a layer of fog that slowly began to unravel from himself as he took one step after another, approaching the human on the other side of his cell. "You have my thanks human for freeing me out of this prison." He continued his talking as the fog slowly started to fade away, revealing his true nature to the human. Shiny leather clothes covered parts of his body along with long leather boots and high heals. The pale grey skin of his arms seemed to darken from the way down, forming into long and black claws. His chest was exposed out of hisn black leather jacket, but it was framed by a mass of black fur, singular black feathers spread through it.
08:23
His new appearance revealed two giant black horns, curving along his head, spreading an intimidating presence along with his glowing red eyes gleaming at Kazimir, his sharp teeth exposed in a smug and sinister grin. He approached the human further until he stood in front of the thick bars of the cell, eyes locked onto the human, fixing him in place. He should be petrified by fear as most of them. The Demon proceeded to bend the bars open in front or him with ease stepping into the prison hallway in front of Kazimir, glaring down at him. He was towering at around 6'2 over the human. A intimidated height. "As a sign of my sincere gratitude I will offer you a deal. I offer you my services, taking in the position as your servant, your weapon, lending you my power in the way you desire until your act of revenge is fulfilled." The Demon continued, his tone of voice shifting into something smooth, convincing. Most humans couldn't resist the offer of a power. Humans in general always seemed to hunger for power they could not fully control. He was certain that this human was no different, certain that he wouldn't refuse while not being told what the demon's price would be. Nothing was ever for free. @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Had... he just done that? Kazimir stared as black smoke began to appear, rising from the edges of the seal as if it were seeping out of it. It was like something out of a tall tale or a myth, his eyes widening in horror. He had never seen anything like it. It wrapped around the man in chains like a blanket so that not even he could see him. Had... he made a mistake? Kaz swallowed as he took a step back, his feet instinctively beginning to make space between he and the chained figure. Yet, it seemed that it wouldn't matter. Space wouldn't protect him. He could hear them snapping. The sound of metal chains snapping sharply as if they were mere sticks, easy to crack with one's weight and pressure should it be applied. No. Kazimir knew that this prisoner was not like the rest of them. He was certainly not in any way similar to himself as he had claimed. This man was not human. Even though he took the appearance of one, Kazimir knew he could not let his eyes deceive him. You have my thanks, human, for freeing me out of this prison. Kazimir swallowed and stared at him, almost frozen from fear as he watched the way that he eased himself to stand, stepping forwards to approach him. His feet guided him one step backwards, watching as the man continued to shift and walk towards him. Was thanks enough to make him not kill him? Kazimir wasn't entirely sure. He was sure that something such as this had every power in the world to kill him. After all, while Kazimir had never believed in demons, many other sailors did and he had certainly heard the many stories regarding their strength. "Well fuck...." He cursed,, watching as he shifted to reveal two large black horns and the sharp animalistic teeth of a true predator. "Look-- I uh--" He swallowed, freezing where he was as the man bent the bars open as if they were putty beneath his hands. "Jesus christ..." He cursed in amazement as he stepped up to him, his own height towering over him. Kazimir wasn't exactly short

in any terms and yet in this moment, he certainly felt it though he wasn't sure if it was just his presence alone or his height that was intimidating him. I offer you my services. Kazimir almost let his jaw drop. Something as powerful as this was claiming that it would be his servant? No way. Kazimir stared in awe before shaking his head, "I-- what the hell." He blurted out despite the creature's convincing offer. He knew the creature had claimed it would help him. That it would help him to achieve his goals, that it had the power to help him overcome the church as well as change the world. Yet he knew it would come at a price. "What are you getting out of it?" He questioned, narrowing his eyes. No seller sold without a price. His father had taught him that. Though it had been many years since he had seen him, he knew that he couldn't ever forget that. Everything has a price. "Surely releasing you wasn't the only thing you wanted, is it?" @Matcha Latte MJ🍵

The Demon, who loved to see the fear in the human's eyes after revealing his true shape for the first time, was called Arioch. It was one of the few names he bore during his entire existence and it was the one that he preferred the most. He was delighted by the sheer horror in the human's eyes as he took multiple steps back, as if distance between the two could save him. Humans believed many ridiculous things in beliefs of saving their souls from their fate after death, but most of it was pure nonsense. He could see Kazimir's fear as the demon towered over him, despite being only a bit taller. He was amused by his suspicion. "After your wish for change and revenge is fulfilled, I am free and able to return to my home." Arioch explained in a calm voice, glancing at him with his glowing red eyes as he slowly began to circle Kazimir, studying him a little. He made a good impression. His payment seemed to be promising. He chuckled mildly at his question of what he truly wanted. "There is but only one thing I have to request from you in return. I cannot tell you what it is yet, but I can assure you that it is a price that you can surely pay." He continued as he circled him further in slow steps, his heels clicking on the hard stone. "Afterall, a small price to pay for the fulfillment of your deepest desires does not sound that repulsive, does it not?" He came up from Kazimir's side, leaning in a bit closer and whispered it close to his ear, his voice being smooth and fairly convincing. Another chuckle filled his chest as he pulled away again and stepped back in front of the boy again, his eyes scanning him once more, waiting for further reaction before he offered him his clawed hand. "What do you say, mortal? Do we have a deal?" Arioch asked, his voice showing a shimmer of delight, hoping that this foolish mortal would let himself be lured by his desires for revenge like most of the humans before him did. @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Fear. A good sailor was taught young that fear was a healthy response. It was what kept your ship from being wrecked by an oncoming storm when the sky looked too dark. What kept your men safe when the tide was too high. What kept your people fed when the even the local schools of fish were avoiding your normal routes. Fear was encouraged in a sailor. It was a good thing in most cases. And of course while you needed a great deal of courage to take on the waves of a particularly nasty storm, most bore a healthy amount of fear. Problem was, Kazimir wasn't a good sailor. He never had been at least. While his ship mates would prefer to take a day off for the sky being too gray, Kazimir pushed his forwards, urging them to board onto a boat that everyone knew would face turbulence. He believed that the risk was worthwhile. Nothing worth doing was ever easy, right? At least that was what he normally said. His lack of fear often got him in trouble, dragged him into situations one would often prefer to avoid. After all, his lack of fear is what had landed him here in the first place. His lack of judgement making him an easy target to people who knew how to manipulate well. Though Arioch might have realized that by now. After your wish for change and revenge is fulfilled, I am free and able to return to my home Kazimir blinked. He wanted to return to Hell? His eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly in confusion as he attempted to recall the stories of demons. The stories that the church used to scare people with. He had always thought they were entirely untrue. Perhaps that was because the Church was filled with corrupt pigs that would rather sit on a thrown of lies than actually serve any greater force that might exist. Even now, Kazimir wasn't sure how much he could believe regarding the existence of demons in the first place. But if he knew anything about the world, it was to trust your gut. And in this moment, his gut was QUEASY AS HELL. A frown curled along his

lips as the demon began to circle him, his gaze taking him in as if he were a piece of meat. "Like what ya see?" He attempted to joke, ignoring the racing of his heart in attempt to hide the fact that he was nervous around the creature. It wasn't one to trust. He was well aware of that. With the way his stomach was twisting, he was sure that making a deal with this creature wasn't the best idea. "Well that sounds like a lie if I've ever heard one." He smiled, his gaze locking with the creature as he whispered into his ear. "No way are you believing that a sailor is gonna make a deal to something he doesn't know the price of. I swindle people for a living, Sir. You think I'm not gonna recognize when I'm being swindled?" He laughed at the mere thought, his gaze narrow. "No deal. Not unless you quit it with the pretty talk and the smiles. Your smile is creepy anyway. Not even a fool would fall for that." @Matcha Latte MJ🍵

It appeared as if this human wasn't as foolish as Arioch had assumed him to be. He raised an eyebrow in surprise and dropped his smile, replacing it with a rather cold expression. "We both aspire the same fate for the ones who bound us here. We both seek to avenge ourselves on those who sentenced us to rot in this hole. You know as well as I do that this prison will be your end. If you want to break free you will need help. I could just go and leave you here to rot exactly how those corrupt priests want you to." He tried to convince him to agree until… A loud knock sounded on the heavy metal door at the end of the doorway. It appeared to be locked. "He's with him…" Arioch heard the guards mutter before the banging on the door got more aggressive. "HE'S IN HERE!! SURRENDER AND OPEN THE DOOR 54601!!" The Guards yelled from the other side of the door. "Seems like your little friend brought company." Arioch chuckled a little, his eyes fixing onto Kazimir again. "They will be here any moment. I can stop them. If you want to get out of here alive and escape your miserable fate you better make this deal." Once again, his tone was smooth and convincing, offering him his clawed hand once more. Arioch was determined to get what he desired. Otherwise he would leave the boy here to his fate and would just skim through the prison on the hunt for an even more desperate human who would be more eager to make a deal with him. @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

A deal with the devil. To commit to a deal with a devil was a cardinal sin. If it didn't kill him, the church would do it themselves. Trial by fire. Beheading. Or something worse. They wouldn't stop at throwing him into something as comfortable as the black bay prison. They would look to create the ultimate punishment for him. His fate wouldn't be pretty. That was one thing that he was sure of. Then again, his fate wasn't pretty now either. He was sure they meant for him to rot here until no one knew his name or remembered his face. If they were to let him out he would bare the scars and tattoos that sentenced him for life on parole. What kind of life would that even be? He wouldn't be able to get a job. Not even a lackluster captain would welcome a fugitive on their boat. Not even pirates wanted criminals such as those who were sent to the Bay as their crewmates. His life would never be the same. "We both seek to avenge ourselves" Kazimir shifted on his feet, his eyebrows furrowed as he listened to the demon, hating to admit that he was indeed correct. If he was going to break out, he was going to need someone powerful. The walls were thick and the entrance would be guarded with the strongest of their forces. He was sure that leaving through the front door was a death wish but there was no such thing as a back door within this maze. Everyone knew the labyrinth that the prison was designed to be. None would escape. That was what they said back in the day. Kids used to tell horror stories of the wails that they could hear from inside. Claimed that prisoners lost their mind inside. Kazimir well knew that to be true. He clenched his jaw and looked down, rubbing the back of his neck as he debated between the possible decisions that he could make. A knock on the door sounded the end of his options. A rough reality to face. "Fuck..." He growled as he looked at the Devil with a frown. He seemed amused. he wanted to wipe that smirk right off of his face. To tel

l him that he did have another option and that he indeed wasn't playing right into the devil's hands. Yet he was. And Kazimir no longer had the space to deny that. After all, they were coming and he was well aware that they weren't going to slow down just because he had released the demon. But with the demon on his side he stood a chance. At least he claimed they had a chance. "Gods this is bullshit." He cursed under his breath, frustratingly tugging at his hair as he glanced over his shoulder towards the door that the guards stood behind. "Fuck you..." he growled angrily, his heart pounding as the Demon peered closer to him. "I can stop them." Those were the words that did it. He clenched his jaw and shook his head, groaning before holding his hand out reluctantly, "Fucking hell, just do it. Get it over with... and-- don't kill me in the process or else I swear to God I'll come back to haunt you and I can be really fucking annoying if I want to be." He yelled, unsure of how to make a deal with this devil. He just had to accept him. His hand met with the clawed hand of the demon, agreeing to the terms that he knew weren't entirely favorable to him. As if he ever had a choice. @Matcha Latte MJ🍵
Avatar
Finally… As soon as Kazimir took the clawed hand that Arioch had offered him, the yelling of the guards fell distant as if it would go further and further into the background. Black smoke began to rise from the ground around the two, tracing the form of a circle as around them the time seemed to slow down more and more. "Very well then. I am known under the name Arioch. I will lend you my power as your servant to help you fulfill your act of revenge. After the conditions of this contract are fulfilled I will claim what is rightfully mine." He explained in a calm and prophetic voice, his voice serious as this was an important ceremony to seal their contract. Arioch turned the boy's wrist up from his hand as he held it with his other hand, his red eyes fixing on Kazimir again. "Now then, this contract shall be sealed with blood, for that will bind us to one another." Arioch said as he let the clawed thumb of his other hand run down his artery, slowly drawing a bloody line where the blood soon started to flow. As drops of blood already hit the cobblestone, Arioch took his own right hand, slicing it open in the same spot as he still held the boy's hand before entwining his arm with his, their wounds laying now on top of each other. Kazimir would be able to feel a part of Arioch's demonic power as he looked down at the human. "Now tell me, where do you wish to place your mark on?" He asked as he stepped a little closer to the human, his eyes lingering on his prey. "You will need it to summon me and to access my powers. The more prominent the spot is the stronger our bond will be." Arioch explained further. It was a requirement for his deal to explain the deal for the one who agreed on it, but only under the condition of keeping one thing in the dark. "Choose wisely." He added with his smile. @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Silence Well.. not true silence. But silence that grew quiet as black smoke engulfed the pair of them. Silence that quite literally was swallowing the two, swallowing them whole. Kazimir had never liked silence. It wasn't his style. He had always been the one to fill the silence. Yet since he had gotten to this hell hole he hadn't needed to. Their wails often filled the silence. The sound of chains against concrete. Scraping. The coughs of an ill inmate. The sounds had swallowed him more than that of the silence he had once despised. It never was silent here. He knew that. And yet as the black smoke rose from the ground, Kazimir felt the sounds of the prison slowly distance themselves so that he could no longer hear them. Arioch. That was the demons name. He didn't remember the names of the great demons any longer. His grandmother would have scoffed at him and hit him on the head with the bible. She was a devout believer after all. Her mind was twisted by the Church in his eyes. She was probably the reason he had chosen to strictly disagree with their views. After all, everything that left the old woman's mouth was bullshit. None of it had ever come to truly happen and Kaz grew aware of that at a young age. Her tales were meant to scare. They didn't scare him. She had whispered the names of demons to him when he was bad, claiming that they would steal his soul should he deserve it. It sent chills up his spine at the time. "Careful, little one, if you bend your mother's nice silverware again the demon Arioch will steal your soul for the rest of eternity." He could almost hear it. Was that what the demon wanted? He didn't care. It wasn't as if there was any going back at this point anyway. He had already shaken the demons hand and accepted his fate. If it truly was his soul that was at stake, it rightfully belonged to the demon. A deal is a deal and Kazimir had always been one to play by the rules. At least for the most part, that is. Kaz paused an

d watched as the demon turned his wrist up and held it there, his grip rather tight as he lifted his gaze. He swallowed and lifted his attention towards the demon's red eyes. They had an intent and intimidating glare about them. He had grown much more serious now that he had taken his hand, no longer smiling as he explained the ritual to him. A shaky gasp escaped his lips as he dug his claw into his arm, slowly slicing along his artery so that his blood began to drip from his arm down towards the ground. Dropping onto the cobblestone that bound them both. "Blood oath huh..." He muttered. remembering the days when his friends and he had pricked their thumbs and done the same sort of ritual. It was the same, his gaze softening as he watched the demon slice his own arm before bringing it closer to press against his won. "Mark?" He questioned softly, his voice no longer so skeptical as he looked at him uneasily. He didn't know enough about this. He should have studied a little harder. Of course, if that was the case he wouldn't have ended up in this place in the first place. He shifted on his feet and nodded, "Prominent...." He noted aloud, unsure of what the best sort of place would be. He brought his free hand to his chin for a moment as he thought, his mind circling the different decisions and options that he had. After a moment he paused and opened his mouth, smirking ever so slightly. He held his tongue out and looked at the demon with a slight amusement. He pointed towards it with his free hand and raised an eyebrow before asking, "This prominent enough to make me strong enough to take down all of the enemies I may possibly wish to take down?" He questioned, his dark brown eyes twinkling ever so slightly. If he was going to commit to this he was going to make the most of this deal. He was going to use this power to it's absolute worth and get everything he could out of it before giving in to the demon who now would own his soul. Or whatever it was he wanted.

His tongue. What a daring and bold spot. Most of the humans that Arioch had known had placed his mark on arm or shoulder, but the tongue was a rare spot to pick. It amused Arioch to see his devotion in his eyes. This human would be even more interesting than he thought, making him chuckle a little before he pulled the human closer to himself, lifting the human's chin up a little. Arioch's glowing eyes gave him a little smirk as he leaned in close "Yes, that is perfect." He cooed in a deep voice that radiated through his chest before he closed the gap between their lips in a passionate, yet hungry kiss. He held Kazimir close by his waist, Arioch's tongue entwining with his to mark the spot where the mark should appear. After a moment, Arioch parted his lips from Kazimir's again, a thin string of saliva connecting their lips for a short second before Arioch let his tongue run over his lips, a grin of satisfaction on his lips. Kaz would now begin to feel a tingling feeling as the sigil would begin to form: A Star shaped symbol placed in a circle with multiple outer worldly symbols around it. When Arioch lifted his left hand up to his face, the symbol appeared on the back of it, confirming that the pact was now sealed. "Now that our contract is sealed you shall only need to speak my name and your command to summon my power." He spoke as the smoke around them began to disappear. The banging and yelling of the soldiers from the other side of the door got louder and louder, indicating that they would break through any minute. "Now then, Kaz, what should I do to these men once they break through? Speak your first order." He looked back at the human, a small grin back on his face. It has been some time since he had fought. Since he had spilled blood. This fight would become a one sided massacre and Arioch was already yearning for it." @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

The tongue. He almost thought it funny. He had half thought it a joke. Kazimir had always been rather impulsive. Perhaps that was why he had said it without an ounce of hesitation. His glimmered with amusement as he looked at the demon, curious as to what it thought of his placement. Was it decent? Was it strange? He hoped it bewildered him a bit. He liked bewildering people. It was some sort of fun in his eyes. He smirked and looked at the demon, catching the look in his eyes as they flickered with amusement. At least he seemed interested. It wasn't as satisfying as bewilderment but it would do. Of course, he was a bit bewildered as the demon gently tugged him forward and placed his fingers on his chin and lifted it upwards, tilting it towards him. He swallowed and looked at him, a bit surprised as the devil leaned closer to him, mischievous eyes glimmering with an ominous red glow. That glow told him everything. This devil was trouble. Of course, that sounds like it was self explanatory given he is a devil. Kazimir let out a gasp as the demon leaned towards him, cooing softly in a voice that he hadn't expected to come from him before he leaned in and pressed his lips to his. It was the most passionate kiss that he had ever experienced. As if he was starving and Kazimir tasted like a hot buffet. His eyes widened in surprise as he was held to the devil, his heart pounding as he forced his tongue between his lips. A soft whimper was the only protest he gave. It was the softest sound that Kaz had made, his eyes filled with the same bewilderment he had hoped for from the devil. It seemed the tables had been turned on him. A knot tangled in his throat as he let his tongue push between his lips and entangle with his own, shaky breaths pushing through his nose as he felt a tingling against his tongue. It burned and yet it didn't hurt. It just tingled, sending chills up the mortal's spine as he felt the demon pull away, a trail of their saliva connecting them as li

cked his own lips. Kazimir's gaze lingered on the devil in surprise, eyes still giving away how he was feeling as he shifted slightly. "W-what the--" He stammered in surprise, breathing slightly heavily, "I-- uhm--" He seemed off kilter, entirely caught off guard as he looked at the devil. "You didn't tell me that you were gonna--" He didn't have time. His gaze softened as the demon lifted his hand to his face and the sigil began to form. Stopping mid-sentence, Kazimir shifted and nodded slightly, glancing over his shoulder as the sounds returned once more. Time was of the essence. He took a shaky breath and nodded at the devil, biting his lip slightly. "Fuck... well I guess they don't want to play nice, now do they?" He growled the words in annoyance, still feeling shaken by the way that he had kissed him. "As they would say... off with their heads, Arioch." @Matcha Latte MJ🍵

With a loud audible crack the door to the hallway got busted open and a whole group of fully armed guards came storming in, pointing their spears and sabers at them. "HANDS UP AND SURRENDER YOU LITTLE RAT" one of them barked before all stared in disbelief of who now stood in front of them. At the end of the hallway, behind their already expected escaped prisoner stood someone else. It was not a demon, but a man. He was even taller than Kaz, his body seemingly well built with broad shoulders and prominent muscles without looking just pure mountain of muscles. His black hair seemed to be cut short on the sides into a fresh haircut, dark eyes shimmering behind a pair of small glasses on his nose. He was wearing a fine black striped vest with a white shirt underneath, sleeves tugged up just before the elbow, hand wrapped in short tight black gloves. The men stared in disbelief for a long moment, wondering how this man had gotten down here before he stepped in front of Kaz. "With pleasure." He spoke at his order to behead them all, an order just after Arioch's liking. "This is gonna be fun" he chuckled softly as his black leather shoes sounded on the stone beneath them as he slowly began to approach the soldiers, tugging his sleeves further up over his elbow before he held his arm out to the right side. Out of nowhere, black smoke began to manifest, began to form in the palm of his hand and began to expand below his arm even behind him in a pole before forming a giant curved blade at the other end. The next second he held a giant black scythe in his arm, the scythe itself looking rather old, the black blade sharp with the whole weapon looking ancient, decorated with ornamental swirls in some corners, even a few giant black feathers fixed onto it. A truly beautiful and deadly weapon. Arioch had missed to feel the cold metal of his beloved weapon beneath his hands as his eyes now shimmered a familiar red-ish color again with his pupils drawn together into cat-like sl

it's. He watched the humans gasp in fear and stumbling backwards as they realized who he was. "Demon… SEIZE THE TWO!" One of the guards yelled as they seemed to have caught themselves again. "Here we go~" Arioch chuckled as he saw the soldiers running towards him. In a playful manner, he parried a few of the soldiers' blows with ease. Yet in a swift movement, he let the scythe swing around him as he made his way through the soldiers, sending heads flying and blood splattering through the air. The fight was a bloody massacre, Arioch's face always plastered with a grin as he certainly seemed to enjoy this little brawl. Once the last soldier had gone to the ground beheaded, Arioch took his now bloody scythe down and turned around to look back at his new master. His clothes seemed as if none of them had touched blood, there was only a small splatter on his face that he wiped away with his gloved thumb. His eyes again, fixed back on Kazimir, waiting to see a reaction from him to his little performance. With a swift hand movement he'd let his scythe disappear again into thin air as he now stood again in front of him. "Now let's get going before the guards notice something. How do you wish to escape?" He asked after a short moment, fixing the glasses on his nose a little. @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

"Off with their heads." He had heard the Queen say it many a time. She said it at nearly every execution. After all, they were a public outing for many. It was foul in reality. People filing in to watch as someone was killed. As a reaper of an executionist brought down their weapon right upon the neck of a potentially innocent person. Potentially. After all, he could have been in their shoes as well. Not that he knew that back then. An audible crack in the door made him nearly jump. He cursed under his breath and turned towards the men, "Make me." He pretended to throw his hands up, "Oh wait, you can't. Not now that he's on my team." He bluffed, a smirk curling along his lips. Of course, in reality, this was not a bluff in the slightest. After all, with a demon like Arioch on his team there was no losing. And it wasn't until he noticed the man behind the guards that he recognized the truth in his claim. At first, he hardly recognized him, not expecting him to have taken on a human form. Of course, it was a monstrous human form but nonetheless it was recognizably human. Something tightened in his chest and throat as he watched the devil approach them. Anticipation. Adrenaline. His heart was pounding already. The same sort of pounding that he felt take over him each time he had visited a execution. Yet the tables had turned, hadn't they? He swallowed down the guilt curling into his stomach, hoping he could push it away as he watched the monster begin to manifest a hulking weapon. A scythe. Like the reapers the Church had depicted throughout their bibles. Evil reapers that brought one to death. Was Arioch one of those reapers? Something told him that he wasn't. He was worse than the reapers. More dangerous. Fatal. And that he truly was. Kazimir stared in disbelief as he watched the battle begin. Battle was the wrong word. No, this was entirely one sided. He stared in horror as he watched the heads go flying, each toppling onto the ground as the demon

executed his order. His Order. He felt sick to his stomach. He bit his lip as he looked down at the dismembered heads on the ground, hardly even making any eye contact at all with his new partner. He didn't know how to acknowledge the level of violence he had just commited. And it was on his order. He knew that this escape was his first step in revenge, but killing innocents... did that truly make a change? The guards were not at fault. He shook his head as he tried to push away his guilt, sighing in complication before lifting his attention towards the Devil. "Right... " He frowned, unsure of how to escape. "Might as well blow the walls of this place down... suppose that's the way out for all of 'em... not just me. Anyone who was falsely charged, that is." He sighed, cracking his neck as he attempted to convince himself that he was indeed doing the right thing. Of course, that didn't make this any easier. @Matcha Latte MJ🍵

"Tearing the walls down you say..." Arioch gave the human a mischievous glance before he turned his back on him to step a few steps away from his master, manifesting his scythe once more in a swift movement. Slowly he let his weapon spin in a balanced twirl on his hand before slamming the bottom of the handle onto prison ground. As soon as his scythe hit the ground, a earth shattering wave was send through the hallway and walls with a loud BOOM. With the slam, cracks had began to spread across the floor from the scythe, the ground and ceiling beginning to crumble and shake. The prison would soon collapse in itself from the impact. Arioch knew that and he had done it on purpose, just as his master had asked him to do. He had just been following orders. Again, he let the scythe dissappear in one swift movement and black smoke before he approached his master again, a glint of amusement and thrill in his eyes as a small mischievous grin had formed on his lips. "Well let's get going then..." With those words, the demon swiftly picked the other man up into his arms like a bride. "Better hold on master..." Arioch's grin grew wider as he didn't leave him any time to answer and began to bolt towards the door as seemingly everything around them seemed to collapse. With inhuman speed, Arioch bolted through the hallways, past the cells as the walls around them seemingly began to stretch from how fast the demon was running, seemingly not getting tired or growing slower. Chasing the cracks that tore through the ceiling and dodging few larger falling stones and parts of collapsing walls and ceilings seemingly always last second or way befor the stone fell, the Two made their way up through the not so endless labyrinth of the prison, towards their freedom. @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.

Escape. He supposed most would say he was quite good at it by now. After all, he had been running for nearly his entire life. Running. From his family, from his friends, debt, nightmares, the whole lot of it. Of course, that didn't mean he was suddenly all that ready for the onslaught of surprise that the demon would continue to bring upon him. He had a strange feeling that he would continue to feel this way the longer he spent time around the demon. He had a way with keeping people on their toes. Kaz took a deep breath as he watched the demon slowly walk several steps away from the wall, each step smooth and calculated as if he were debating the exact measurements it would take to smash it. He didn't need such. It was with one balanced twirl that he broke it down. "Holy shit--" Shit. x2. He didn't say the second out loud. He believed showing his surprise would reveal his weaknesses to the demon. Though he might already be aware of the fact that his mere existence was keeping Kazimir on his toes. The smile that he wore on his lips said as much. He'd consider it to be a shit eating grin though he couldn't imagine the demon would like that terminology. He seemed like the type to prefer more refined terms. Then again, he was quite violent so perhaps he wouldn't mind the vulgarity of it. After nearly falling back onto his ass, Kazimir looked at the demon and brushed himself off, coughing as he watched dust cover the room. He could hardly see even the other guards through the brown dust that had begun to fill the room. It was only seconds before it was followed by the sounds of rubble falling to the ground. "You truly are..." He let out a shaky breath and shook his head before fanning away the dust, "Wow..." He exclaimed softly as he took in the true disaster that he had created. Escape. Better hold on, Master Running. He hardly had a chance to blink, let alone grab on when the demon began to bolt towards the door, pulling him into his arms with a swift

ness that was yet unknown to the human and yet not surprising at all. "HOLY SHIT-- ARI--" Of course, he hadn't meant to shorten his name to such a nickname and yet in the moment, it surely had happened, "I'M NO DAMSEL!!" He exclaimed belligerently as the demon ran through the hallways at a speed that was entirely unmatched to anything he had experienced ever before. One he was sure he would only ever reach with the help of the creature. Just as he was sure that he would never escape again without the help of such a creature. @Matcha Latte MJ🍵

He didn't care about the complaints of the human as he bolted through the in itself collapsing building. With Ariochs incredible speed the Two seemed to get closer and closer towards the exit as the building began to break more and more with the falling gravel becoming bigger and bigger. After taking a final sharp turn the massive metal door of the prisons entrance came into view. With the thrill seeking grin still on Ariochs lips he bolted towards his goal before a loud crack sounded through the long hallway. The erupted sound came from a giant part of the ceiling and walls that seemed to crash down all at once, crushing down in front of the door, blocking their only way to freedom. Arioch had already been approaching close with his speed, not slowing down as he saw the walls crash down. Kaz would feel his grip around him tighten, pressing the human closer to his broad chest as his eyes seemed to regain his red glow for only a second. Black smoke began to rise around the two, seemingly beginning to wrap around the Two more and more. "Close your eyes." Arioch ordered his master before the smoke swallowed them whole, the world around them seemingly disorienting in a matter of black without gravity or anything, only to be pulled back into reality a split second later. Arioch had stopped running as they now stood in a dark alleyway which seemed to be somewhere in the city. After looking around for a second, Arioch sat Kaz down back on his feet. "I hope you enjoyed this little ride." He said with a mild grin, panting only a little from his little demonstration of power. @꒰ starbucks shae ꒱ ༉‧₊˚.
