No one knew why the world ended. One day people got up, started to go to work, and at exactly 3:45 in the afternoon, May 17th. The world ended.
At first, people just started to not feel well, feeling like they were sick. That’s when the true horror started. People just turning into monsters, the first wave. No one could control it and only a few survive. It wasn’t your typical zombie or apocalyptic movie either. No one knew how.
Surviving is the main priority. Try and not get sick, try and keep a good head on your shoulder. And follow the rules.
“Welcome again to day..”
There was a pause on the radio, papers shuffling. It didn’t matter honestly what day it was, but 24 year old Samual did the usual routine. Be locked in the radio tower, trying to find any survivors. Bottles of water, and containers of stale food litter the living space. Having their own little “radio show” as they called it.
“Well half a year has passed at least since the apocalypse had started. And it is time to refresh on the rules.”
1. Don’t make a sound when you smell sulfur, something or someone that you don’t want is near.
2. The smell of fresh blood will attract them.
3. The signs of infection is nausea, open sores, coughing up blood, monsters avoiding you, insomnia, hearing and seeing things that aren’t there, and finally comatose state.
4. You can’t easily kill the monsters. Be mindful of the bullets you have. One might have to be for you.
5.Don’t get caught. Don’t be tricked.
“Grim isn’t it folks.. I’ve been trapped here since day 82. I’m running low on supplies..”
Samual shook their head. They can’t start thinking like that. They have to survive this, at least until he finds a survivor.
“This had been the Crystal Fairview radio station, in Crystal Massachusetts. Samual Trimberg signing off.”
