Morgan Le Fay was known far and wide as a dangerous and powerful sorceress. She was held in high regard and, to a certain extent, reverence. Though, many preferred her to leave them alone. To this extent, they had entreated Merlin, her former peer, to erect a barrier around the kingdom to prevent her from entering.
While she was a powerful sorcereress, she was also yet a fae. Barriers that kept the fae out would undoubtedly keep her out. That is, unless, someone invited her in. Unfortunately for her, none would dare even approach her.
She had her own castle and kingdom of nothing, but she wanted Camelot. The word had been that a new king had been chosen - Arthur-something? Perhaps that would be her in... Yes, she could supplant Merlin as his advisor and control the kingdom from behind the scenes.
And so she planned and plotted; she watched and scouted. Finally, the day came to approach the young man. He had been hunting in the woods and she had followed him. As he stalked the woods, Morgan stepped out from a tree that was behind him. "Ah, young king," she said with a curtsey, "I trust you are well?"
