Leo’s facial expression turned into one of concern as he watched the scene play out before he withdrew into his room. He wasn’t seen, clearly, and he meant to keep it that way. Now that he was up for the day, he was quick to shower and dress himself.
Once downstairs for breakfast, he was greeted by the sight of his mother, father, brother, and Malek at the table. Leo’s appearance was different from 3 days ago - it was obvious when he cleaned himself up. He didn’t comb his hair and he didn’t really put too much effort into his clothing. He was wearing a simple white tshirt and black pants - very unprincely - which warranted a glare from his mother, who always wanted him to be dressed properly.
“Leo.” Leo corrected the other Prince before sitting in the one open seat beside Malek. “Please. Call me Leo.” Leo took note of Malek’s appearance, but didn’t question it. He wouldn’t. Not in front of everyone else, at least.
Breakfast was eggs, toast, pancakes, and bacon. All cooked to perfection by the palace’s best. Leo, as per usual, only ate a piece of toast and a few pieces of bacon.
The king spoke up after a moment. “Leopold, today you’ll be showing Malek around the castle. Seeing as you two are to be wed, might as well spend some time together.” Leo sighed softly and simply nodded in response.
