Shifting in her comfortable plush queen-sized bed, Lucia sat up and yawned. A soft light streaming through her ivory curtains which meant that it was morning already. She was extremely exhausted, especially staying up all night trying to finish the last couple of chapters she had for that day's to-do-list. Stepping out of her bed, she made the sheets and slipped on some slippers before heading down to get ready for the day. The calander stated it was a Tuesday, which meant today's one of the many days she'd frequent her favorite coffee shop. Normally she wouldn't go on day's she had meet-ups and book signings. But Tuesdays, Thursdays, maybe most Fridays and Sundays, she'd have free. Lucia had been going to this café for the last 6 months since she's moved here from studying abroad. It was pretty quiet to say the least but she very much enjoyed that aspect. Putting on her favorite cardigan, and packing up her laptop, charger and notebook, she took off. Walking down the street from her decent sized home in town to the café that was just a 10 minute walk from where she lived. The Cafe was always such a comfort for her. She wasn't bothered by anticipating fans as much as she'd thought. But then again not a lot of people know what authors look like in person unless they really look them up. The bell at the front entrance chimed as Lucia stepped inside, greeting the man behind the counter with a warm smile and nod before heading to sit at her usual spot in the corner right beside the window. The man who owned this coffee shop was always so kind to her.. that's most likely another possibility why she frequented this café so often... just so she can see him once again. There is also no doubt he was quite a looker, sometimes she'd find herself glancing at him as he worked whenever she took a small break from typing. As she took her seat, she got comfortable and took out her laptop and charger so she could plug it in for the remainder of the time. There was a small (edited)

... menu right on the table and as she took it in her hand gently, she read it's contents. Seems like there was a new menu item on the list. How intriguing. @lunar69eclipse

Waking up to the sounds of his alarm, Alex sat up with a yawn and reached out to his phone with his eyes still closed. He grumbled, turning off the alarm before shaking his head and patting his cheeks to wake himself up. He stood up, made his bed and went to his bathroom, calmly fixing his hair, brushing his teeth, putting his contacts on and dressing up before going downstairs for some breakfast in his coffee shop. Since it was still closed, he just used his cafe's ingredients for breakfast. Once he was done with that, he cleaned everything up, made sure every table had a menu, and finally open. He was of course incredibly excited. Today was one of the days the lovely lady would come! He had to make a move now, for sure! He just didn't know what move to make!! Argh, such a struggle love is... It wasn't until 9AM that he saw the lovely lady walk into his café, a smile immediately coming to his face as he greeted her and allowed her to go sit in her regular spot. He took care of another client while she read the menu, before walking over to her and smiling. Oh dear, his heart was beating so fast! "Good morning, what can I get for you today?" He asked, a small notebook in hand and a pen in the other, ready to write down what she desired. @enummi

The menu had all the basic café items one would find in most coffee shops. Coffee was obviously the biggest one, then there were other hot drinks like teas and hot chocolates. Of course pastries as well as other smaller breakfast items. The new item however caught her eye immediately as it was different than the others. So much so, it excited her to know it was actually added here as not many shops around here sold this particular item. Lucia immediately glanced up to meet the man's gaze once he walked over and took out a pen and notebook to jot down her order. The guy always took her breath away just from his kind eyes and sweet voice... Lucia smiled and placed the menu down in front of her to point at the new item. "Goodmorning. I see you guys added Boba? I'd love to try it. And uh..." she looked back at the menu to debate which other thing she wanted. "A coffee roll would be splendid." Alex glanced down at where she was pointing, nodding and noting Boba in his little notepad "Of course! What flavour for the boba?" He asked as he noted down the coffee roll too before glancing from his notepad to her pretty face. Oh dear.. he could get lost in her eyes any day. "You have really pretty eyes.." he mumbled, before realising what he said. "Ahem- my apologies-" he said, blushing softly in embarassment. @enummi

Lucia thought for a moment and leaned forward after placing her elbows on the table and resting her chin on her entwined fingers. "Mmmm... surprise me." She closed her eyes as her smile widened. Only for her ears to perk when she heard him mumble something and she lifted her head to look at him. "Hmmm? Why are you apologizing? Did you say something?" He had definitely said something but she couldn't exactly make out the whole sentence. Maybe she caught 'You' and 'eyes'. Was he talking about her eyes? A little confused, Lucia tilted her head in question. A little surprised to see a very faint tint of blush on his face too.... was he always this cute? Oh for sure. His blushing face was so cute she wanted to tease him about it. But she held back since she didn't know if it'd make him even more embarrassed and uncomfortable. In fact, seeing him act this way made her heart skip a beat and her chest tighten. awwww~ @lunar69eclipse

Alex nodded "Very well then, I'll be back with everything you asked for. Please give me a minute." He said, simply shaking his head at her last question. "No no, don't worry about it." He said, offering her a sweet smile before he went to prepare the stuff for her @enummi
