The dust on the bookcases had been settling for far too long, collecting in such a thickness that it had gone beyond being an accent. It was dreadful and unsightly. Cobwebs stretched from unlit candle to unlit candle, covering the candelabras and chandeliers in a silky mesh. Chairs and lounges alike smelled of moths and age, with pockets of their fabric chewed and dragged away to make one of several rat nests in the manor. Paint and wallpaper were peeling or stained with water damage and sunspots. The walls creaked and bowed under the weight of the structure, straining to support the dreams that had once kept the manor alight with laughter and passion. The only surface that seemed well-kept was a singular cushioned loveseat, the fabric a deep red with black stitching in swooping floral patterns. The wood was freshly stained and wiped down to a perfect gleam of ebony. There was a similarity between this piece of furniture and the others in the grand living room, as if they had all once looked this way before age and neglect took them. Relaxing in the center of the loveseat was a man, his hair a silvery white that was pulled back behind his ears but kept off his collar. In his hands was an old tome, black in cover and page, with blood red script taken down within. His chilling gray eyes traced over the words slowly as he brought a goblet up to his mouth with his right hand. Made from the upper cranial cavity of an old foe, it possessed a perfectly fitted golden trim with diamonds and rubies inlaid within the crown itself. Tilting it back and drinking in the dark red liquid, his eyes closed for a moment as the warm liquid flowed over his tongue. Those same eyes opened slowly as the goblet stayed back, draining into his mouth and down his throat. Looking down at the now stained bone within the goblet, he lowered it and shook his head slowly. What a shame, he would have to make another if this one could not be cleaned. .
00:54
Setting the skull down on the black table beside him, he balanced it on the five points of the crown and pulled his hand away slowly. Lifting his hand slowly while keeping his elbow on the arm of the loveseat, he snapped his fingers once before turning his attention back to the tome in his left hand. Footsteps clattered up behind him as a pale, scrawny man ushered into the room and took hold of the goblet before taking it out of the room. Cassius smirked as the man left, his eyes glancing up towards the door from the living room that led to the foyer. It would not be long now before the guest he was waiting for would arrive at his door and require entry within. He had been excited to meet her since her application had come in, and with the time closing in on them, he could feel his anticipation growing to a crescendo. It had been too long since he had meaningful company, and with his return to this manor for the first time in over three centuries, it was well overdue. The grandfather clock to his right gonged at the turn of the hour, drawing Cassius’s gaze and a smile. Seven o’clock had come, and with it, the setting of the sun. Pinching the tome closed in his left hand, he raised it in the air before his magic thrummed from his hand in a powerful ripple that traveled through the house. The tome dissolved into ribbons of black and red ink before whooshing through the air and reforming on the bookshelf across the room. The ripple cascaded over furniture, flooring, and fabrics; revitalizing and cleaning every surface that it touched. The chairs and tables were wiped clean of the mess, their cushions repaired, and their wooden surfaces stained with the same dark ebony. The bookshelves were swept clean of all dust and other distasteful results of their unfortunate neglect. Cobwebs dissolved along with the spiders and critters that called them home. .
00:55
Everything in the manor that had suffered from the absence of its master found new life, as if the centuries had never passed by. Candles and fireplaces blazed to life, pests ceased to exist with the damage they caused repaired, and the windows were all wiped clean of the stains left by time. The grass in the yard was cleansed of the weeds that had poked through to grow and destroy the balance. The shrubs were trimmed back, and the cracks in the driveway and sidewalk were sealed. Finally, Cassius watched as his trio of servants walked into the room and stood in front of him. Their pale, diseased skin was in stark contrast to his smooth, cool flesh. Their tangled, unkempt hair was a hideous mockery of hygiene, and their clothes were little more than tattered rags that served to hide their starved bodies from sight. They had every opportunity to bathe and feed themselves in their years of service, but they had devoted themselves to him in hopes of the blessing of eternal life with no regards to themselves. Disgusting filth. Looking to each of them as they bowed their heads to him, Cassius shook his head before each of them vanished as if they had never been standing there. He had no use for them here, and he refused to allow their filth to continue to degrade this manor. They had been tasked with keeping the home in working order for whenever he would arrive, and they had kept up with his commands for generations. It was this latest generation that had failed him, letting the manor fall into ruin and failing to upkeep the pristine nature he expected. This failure would not be rewarded with an eternity of pleasure like their forefathers had been blessed with. No, they would have no such blessing. Breathing in and then exhaling forcefully through his nose as the manor returned to the status that he had left it in, Cassius stood from the loveseat and strode towards the foyer. His applicant would be here at any moment now, and he would be awaiting their arrival eagerly.

Sirena Sinclaire BOT 28-Jan-23 01:34 AM
The drive had taken longer than she would have guessed. This place really was out in the middle of nowhere. The sweeping landscapes and lovely countryside were a welcome relief from the busy hustle of the city and the surrounding town. The little village that she passed through was quaint and collected, her small SUV traveling through the old cobblestone streets carefully until she found herself on the outskirts again. Just how far out is this place? The black car continued on, not brand new and not a high end model. One of those economy cars, a hybrid that would run on both electric and gasoline if necessary. She had purchased it for the large storage in the back, as her easels and paints wouldn’t fit in a normal sedan. Even though she had started this journey during the day, night was slowly creeping in and it made her nervous to get to her new home sooner rather than later. Driving around in the middle of the night in unfamiliar countryside wasn’t exactly something that Sirena was keen on doing. As the sun dipped below the horizon line, the manor she had up on GPS came into sight and her mouth hung open at the grandeur of it. The ad had said that it was a manor looking for a roommate but she was honestly thinking it was just a large farmhouse. This was an absolute estate! The dirt road turned into a lovely gravel circular front, the light of the dying sun gleaming off the gardens and grounds as she made her way up past trees and into the open gates of the manor. Everything was beautiful in the coming twilight hours, even though it had a sinister underlying air to the place. “It’s just spectacular…” She muttered under her breath, parking her car out front and staring up at the manor in awe. As an artist, Sirena adored painting buildings, old and interesting ones, as well as landscapes and different still lifes. Unfortunately for her, while her paintings were exquisite, she never really got the hang of selling them often enough to really make a lot of money.
01:34
And the prices of rent was just far too high in the city. So when the opportunity arose for a roommate out in the countryside with rent and utilities covered, Sirena didn’t hesitate to apply for it.
01:34
Slowly, she turned the car off and stepped out of the vehicle, looking around the dusk laden home in reverence to it’s beauty. Her inspiration was on fire, and while she didn’t have a rent she would need to pay, she was sure the owner of the home wouldn’t mind a painting or two of it while she lived there. Taking her purse, she opened the back of the car to grab her pair of black suitcases, leaving her easels and paints inside to bring up to her room later. Sirena doubted anyone this far away from civilization would care to steal a bunch of blank and partially painted canvases out of a used car. Her hands left her bags for a moment next to the car on the gravel, deciding it might be best to introduce herself and make a good first impression before just clambering in and dragging her things to whatever room would end up being hers. One step at a time, in black ballet flats, Sirena climbed the stoop til she got to the massive front doors and the steel knocker that decorated it. Her fingers fidgeted a little, her index pushing up her glasses of azure blue up the bridge of her nose. There was a chill in the air, had to be, otherwise why else would Sirena feel the sudden shiver that ran down her spine with each step she took closer to the manor doors. “I just hope it’s not too late… I did try to get here as quickly as I could…” She said aloud, more to herself than to anyone who might have been in the vicinity. With a slight hesitation, she lifted her right hand up and pulled gently at the door knocker, her fingers trembling at the frigid cold of the metal against her warm skin. Once, twice and a third time for good measure, she knocked on the door before stepping back hurriedly. Her hands immediately went to the soft pale blue dress she wore, her sleeves a sheer white and her bust a scrunched up square neckline. Her fingers flattened out the bottom of it that came to just above her knee.
01:35
The thought of having worn a dress when she was to move in somewhere new struck her just then as probably not the smartest idea, but with all her clothes and possessions packed or in storage, she really hadn’t had much of a choice. The light from the inside of the manor shone through the windows, illuminating her sweet face and sapphire blue hair. She loved dying it in different colors, as she felt more artistic with less than natural locks. They hung in wispy waves around her shoulders, giving her face a framed look and flowing like a quiet waterfall down her neck. Plus it really brought out the beauty of her eyes, and she loved the compliments people gave her with them. She had a pleasantly round face with a soft dotting of freckles that stretched from one side to the other, passing over the bridge of her nose. Her skin was pale but more a warmed peach in color, and while nervous of her new home, she stood with a bright smile on her face waiting for the door to open and for her to be allowed entry in. Sirena Sinclaire, artist without any other kind of income really, was excited to start this new adventure she’d found herself on. The only thing she could truly hope for was that the landlord wasn’t in the middle of supper due to the time. After a moment or two, Sirena glanced down at her watch on her wrist, a silver analog timepiece that she had been gifted ages ago and it showed the gentle scuff marks to prove it. Just after seven pm. In silence, her lower lip snuck between her teeth and she held it there nervously. If the landlord was out, or was otherwise busy at this hour, how was she to get in and settle in for the night? The prospect of sleeping in her car came to mind, but she really didn’t want to have to do that… again… @Himbo Tie

Cassius Corvinus BOT 28-Jan-23 04:40 AM
Dressed in a black suit with a dark red vest underneath, Cassius stood with his hands clasped behind his back and his chin raised as he waited expectantly. He was pleased with the fact that he had had time to fix the state of the house before his new roommate arrived. Roommate. It was a strange concept to him. After years of being surrounded by family, comrades, or underlings, it was almost refreshing to be looking at his life in a more nonchalant manner. He had desires and small expectations that he hoped to have satisfied in this new arrangement, but it was nice to not have a true motive that he was working to achieve. After having spent countless millennia fighting and building his empire, Cassius could finally take the time to settle back and enjoy life one day at a time. A gentle beep in his pants pocket drew his attention and he reached down to retrieve his phone, his gaze dipping down to check the alert quickly: Perimeter Breach, Black SUV Recalling the answer on the application for what model and make of car his new roommate had, Cassius nodded slowly before turning off the alert. The defenses did not need to be heightened to the next level; this was no surprise intrusion. Swiping the screen of his phone to bring up the profile again, he felt his lips curl up into a gentle smile when he looked over the beautiful face that looked back at him from the screen. His tongue dipped out to lick his lower lip immediately as he looked from her glasses to the smile that she wore over her lips. The photo was beautiful and fulfilled the desire that Cassius had in his new roommate, which was part of why he had selected her from the other applications. There had been some that he recognized as women that saw a potential for stealing his money and leaving with it. Some had also put quite clearly that they were hoping to live out some fantasy here in the manor. .
04:40
While Cassius had his own plans for such...possibilities, he did not want to share the stage with other such aspirations. That was what drew his attention so fully to the profile displayed on his phone. Her answers had been pleasant at least, and outright perfect for most. The career path she had taken, artistry, spoke to him and drew on his pride. He had lived a fulfilling life and collected much in the ways of wealth, property, and enemies, but he had not made the time to set aside time to enjoy what he had earned. Now, with a creative spirit in his manor and her artistic skills encouraged to display themselves, he hoped that he could see some of this enjoyment immortalized in paint and ink. Sighing softly as he slipped his phone back into his pocket, Cassius nodded slowly before returning his hands to behind his back and waiting. He would not need to wait long, as he knew well the security checkpoints that she was likely unknowingly passing over. A row of spikes that could be extended to shred her tires, pollards that could rise from the concrete to act as a physical barrier. A large amount of security devices that he had collected over the span of many years and across countless galaxies were littered along the road and through the fields that led to this manor. Maintaining them was not a job he left to the drudges that had been yearning for his grace as they let the grounds and interior fall into squalor and disarray. No, he had a specific team of vampires that he had trained and employed for many years that were tasked with his security and the related systems. He could hear her car as it approached the manor, and as she drove up onto the private drive, he reached for his phone once again. The gates which had been held open in anticipation of her arrival began to close slowly at the push of a button on his screen. .
04:40
A smile played across his lips as he heard the voice on the other side of the door. Cassius allowed his eyes to slip closed for a moment, letting her words sink in before he opened them and stepped forward towards the door into the foyer. He had hoped she would not arrive during the daylight hours when he would have been in transit or only just arriving. Opening the double doors into the foyer, he strode forward confidently out from under the balcony of the second floor and between the two flights of stairs on either side that made the entrance match the grandeur of the exterior. Hearing the three quick knocks against the door, he smirked as he continued forwards towards the solid oak doors. He was aware of the light that the building exuded from the multitude of windows, but he knew that his advance here would not be seen. Standing on the other side of the door and resting his hands on the door handles, he pressed his forehead gently against the inside of the double doors. Breathing in deeply through his nose, Cassius took in the new scent outside of his home and felt a low roll play through his throat in a gentle hum of anticipation. Learning the new scent and allowing himself to become more comfortable with it before he was overwhelmed by sight and scent combined, he sighed softly before turning the handles and pulling both doors open while stepping back. Offering a warm smile as his gaze fell on the woman before him, Cassius looked over the features of her face quickly before glancing down to see the dress that she was wearing. Nodding and stepping back and to the left to open the threshold for her to cross, he spoke in a gentle tone, “You must be Sirena? Please, come in and get comfortable. You must be quite tired from your drive.” .
04:41
His eyes took in the beauty standing before him as he made room for her to move in. The dotting of freckles just under her glasses stole his attention before his gaze tracked up and along the curvature of her cheeks and her hair that framed them perfectly. She was absolutely stunning, and Cassius had a difficult time hiding the gentle blush that crept over his cheeks as he watched her. Smiling and bowing his head forward slightly in an attempt to physically avert his gaze, Cassius would close the doors behind her before speaking, “Your bags can wait for now, if you would like. First, I feel it is more important that I show you around your new home, what say you?” Bringing his hands forward to hold them in front of him for a moment, Cassius stepped forward and offered his right hand towards Sirena. If she took his hand, he would bring it up slowly to press his lips against her knuckles before speaking softly, “You look quite beautiful, if I may say so.” @Fiory

Busy fussing with her dress to make sure she looked presentable, hoping that the master of the home wasn’t completely out or otherwise occupied as the night began to stretch over the manor, Sirena only paused when the warmth of the interior light bathed over her. Her eyes had been down but as the warmth of light stretched to reveal her on the front steps, her gaze slowly was drawn up to the man that welcomed her inside. “Oh, Y-yes! I’m Sirena Sinclaire. Are you Mr. Corvinus?” She asked, her voice a honeyed sweetness. Like springtime after a particularly hard winter season. With a little trepidation, she made her way into the manor, glancing back at her car and the bags she left there. He had said she could get them later. Perhaps there were staff that would take care of them? A place this large had to have some kind of staff to keep it so unkempt right? Sirena could only assume this had to be the case. How else could it look so beautiful all the time? “The drive was scenic. I thought it was very beautiful, but yes it was a little long.” She said with a lighthearted chuckle on her sweetly pink lips. “N-Not that I minded of course, I just didn’t realize how far out it was. Otherwise I’d have left earlier. I’m sorry for getting here so late in the day.” Her eyes looked around the foyer of the place, distracted and dazzled at how beautiful and grand the place was. The woman just couldn’t help it, the place was like a dream. A gothic inspired crimson dream. It made her creative juices flush and swell, wanting nothing more than to paint every inch of the palace she now found herself in. While slightly distracted, her hand raised as if it was pulled by a magnet and taken lightly in his. The only indication she realized this action was when her attention snapped away from the architecture and decorations of the manor to the man pressing his lips against the knuckles of her hand. A furious red flush ran across her face, having not expected such a gentlemanly act nor ha

d she thought she would have so blindly gone along with it without truly realizing it. Her skin was warm and fair against his relatively chilled, and she felt a race ignite in her chest. “Th-Thank you..” What could she say? He’d completely stolen her words, unable to articulate something further and yet finding the two words adequate enough with regards to the compliment he gave. Sirena never found herself as beautiful. Eccentric but surely not beautiful. So to be complimented as soon as she stepped through the threshold had taken her by a bit of a surprise. Her quiet blue eyes looked up to realize that the door had been closed behind her. Guess I’ll have to go out later to get my things… She thought, though it was passive. An excitement was bubbling just beneath the surface and she was feeling giddy at the sensation of it.
12:11
“I would love a tour… if you don’t mind. I know it’s a little late, and I don’t want to disturb you…” She said quickly, certainly wanting to view more of the manor if he was willing, though unsure exactly how long he had waited for her. Sirena took this moment to take him in, the soft white hair that was held back. The strong shoulders and the black and red suit he wore that beautifully complimented the home he stood in. The way his eyes pierced her own with an ancient unyielding force that she couldn’t quite describe. It gave her butterflies looking at him, and she swallowed gently. He was handsome and gentlemanly and his home was nothing short of exquisite. This was her new roommate?! There was a swelling of unease that floated through her as well as the anticipation of it all. He was gorgeous, and his home was amazing. Why in the world would he need a roommate? All Sirena knew, was she was glad that he had picked her. He was sure to have had several applicants for the place, so the idea that out of all of them her nearly broke starving artist application had appealed to him enough that he wanted her. That he had chosen her to stay here. It gave the lady a bit of a confidence boost as he released her hand and she watched him stand straight again. “Your home is beautiful by the way… I… I would love to paint it sometime, if that’s alright… with more daylight so I can really capture the colors and the details.” The smile that spread across her face was a bit sheepish. Asking permission to paint his home was a little out of left field, but she couldn’t help it. Sirena was inspired by the place, it had captured a part of her imagination that she could not and would not keep discreet and hidden away. It wasn’t in exchange for anything, she merely wanted to, because that’s what she enjoyed doing. It’s what she felt a purpose for, and why most of her belongings were art or paint supplies. @Himbo Tie

There had been no hesitation in his actions, but Cassius had questioned himself as he was performing the gentle kisses to Sirena’s hand. What if this weirds her out and she chooses to go live elsewhere? I cannot just lock her in my home, so I would have lost my latest attempt at having a normal life like a mortal. The red flush that swam across her cheeks, however, served as the answer that he needed to convince himself that he had not crossed any kind of boundary. Smiling as he drew back and slowly lowered her hand, he let his hand linger for a moment before pulling away from her. The warmth that radiated from Sirena was ensnaring, but he resisted the urge to enjoy more of her contact. Looking over her features slowly, Cassius nodded slowly before speaking in a smooth, cool voice, “I am, but you can call me Cassius. I may own the building, but your residence here will help make it into a home worth living in.” He had noticed the way her eyes had darted around the room so far, taking in the entry way view and seeming to appreciate it greatly. He could almost smell her excitement growing and could hear the slight increase of her pulse as she looked over every detail. From the grand staircases that would take them to the more private quarters to the statues in the corners and along the walls that wore different sets of armor that spanned the later centuries of the Middle Ages. Each one of them bore a similar design on them, either on a breastplate, a shield, or the blank portion of a jousting helmet: a golden crow’s skull clutching a blood red rose in its beak by the flowers pure black stem. The stem wrapped around the crow’s beak as if trying to hold it shut before plunging through its empty eye sockets and around the cranium. Everywhere one of the black thorns dug into the golden skull, the same blood red hue of the flower’s petals drained out in a steady stream. .
00:27
The curtains that were drawn back from the windows were a gorgeous red with elegant black and gold designs stitched over them. They were of a style that persisted at the same time as the armor, dating the room and the influence behind it to the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Smiling as he turned his attention away from the details of the room, Cassius spoke in a gentle tone, “I find the remoteness of the manor keeps it out of the mind of the rabble-rousers that can call the town home, but we are close enough that it is not an inconceivable thing to decide to spend a day amongst the citizens there. I for one have lost my appetite for going into town, but you are always welcome to run into town whenever you would like.” Lifting his left hand slowly and shaking his head a little when she spoke of disturbing him with a tour, Cassius lifted the corners of his lips into an easy grin as he stepped back and gestured towards the door under the balcony. Stepping towards it and glancing from it to Sirena, he spoke with a humored glint in his eyes, “Do not worry about disturbing me, Sirena. I have been anxiously awaiting your arrival, so I am more than happy to show you around your new home. Please, do not concern yourself with the time of day, either. I am most comfortable being up at later hours of the night, so this is no bother.” Stepping towards the door more, he lifted his hands and gestured up at the grand staircases and the balcony banister above them, hoping to draw her eyes to the beautiful craftmanship of the railing’s woodworking and ornamentation. Cassius could not help the smile that spread across his lips as he heard her mentioning painting the manor and trying to capture the beauty of it. Turning slowly to face her with his back to the door, he looked at her with a grin that served as a promise to show her even more beautiful features of her new home. All she had to do was be patient and follow him further. .
00:28
Reaching behind him and taking hold of the handles to the set of double doors behind him, Cassius smirked and spoke in a friendly tone as he looked at Sirena’s rich, blue eyes that spoke of the creative soul she held within her, “I would absolutely be honored if you took the time to paint my home. The idea that it is beautiful enough to capture your attention is very pleasing to hear. I must say though, that you have not seen anything yet, my dear.” Cassius pushed the doors open behind him and stepped back into the living room that he had been in before. Glancing around him at the furniture that was positioned perfectly around each other, he smiled before shifting his gaze to the wall papers that held subtle floral patterns in light pink stitching over the dark red background. Bringing his gaze back to the blue-haired beauty before him, Cassius waited a moment to see her reaction before speaking, “This manor has been in my family now for several centuries, owned and filled with treasures that my family has claimed throughout history. This room is open to you for use whenever you would like, as are the tomes and books on the bookcases. Some of them, and the scrolls with them, are extremely fragile due to age, so I ask that you be careful when handling them. Otherwise, feel free to roam this room and enjoy yourself.” As he stood before her, his left hand fell to his side, and he rubbed his thumb and middle finger together softly before snapping quietly. There was barely any sound given for Sirena to hear, but Cassius quickly brought his hand up to slip it into his pants pocket. With the motion, he had set into play a subtle spell that would collect her belongings from within her car and beside it before teleporting them to her bedroom. They would be waiting for them both to arrive, stacked neatly in piles that damaged nothing but showed that everything was there. @Fiory

Sirena Sinclaire BOT 31-Jan-23 09:16 AM
She was easy to lead, the house lended itself to being curious and above all else Sirena was a curious woman. Her steps were light and elegant like a doe’s would be, taking in the details and noticing the crest that seemed to play on the different decor of the manor. It was gothic and dark but had a beautiful quality to it. What played at her worries however was that she had never seen something like that before. It looked almost ominous and each time she saw it, her brows creased a little in appreciation but also apprehension of it. What kind of house crest was this? After the third or fourth time finding it among the armor and the tapestries and other ornamentation that was around the manner, she began to pay it no mind. It could be old, ancient even, and designed long before Cassius had been born to change it; who was she to judge? “Oh, you can call me Siri if you want. Or Sirena.. Either works…Cassius.” A soft chuckle fell past her smiling lips. Nearly everyone she knew called her Siri, after the artificial intelligence voice on people’s cell phones. It wasn’t that she hated the nickname or anything, she thought it rather funny. It gave the woman a bit of a cute quality to her features, even as she let his name slip past her lips. Without knowing really why, a cold chill ran down her spine just speaking his name, like it was her body attempting to warn her of some danger that she couldn’t see. It’s a different name, that’s for sure… but so is mine… Still, a slowly creeping feeling began to play at her insides. It was unfounded, as he had been nothing but gentlemanly since answering the door, so Sirena paid the feeling no mind. Thinking perhaps it was residual nerves of being out so far from town and moving to a new place. That has to be it She thought, her hand quietly gliding over the railing of the staircase. It was magnificent, truly exquisite craftsmanship that took Sirena’s breath away. With a gentle bounce in her step, she was careful climbing the s

tairs and following Cassius along on the tour of his beautiful home, listening intently as he spoke. “I’m so glad you’d like that… I really think yo- oh my…” Sirena was caught mid sentence, attempting to tell Cassius just how excited she was at the idea of painting the manor for him. Her soft blue eyes widened at the space he introduced her to next, stepping in and gazing around at the furniture and the floral patterns on the walls. Her powder blue and white dress swayed at her hips as she turned to take in everything around her. Sirena’s soft sapphire hair curled and gently tucked behind an ear to keep it from falling into her face and obstructing her view. With her back to him for a moment, Sirena’s steps glided her to one of the bookshelves he mentioned and her index and middle finger tentatively slid over the spines of a few of them. Upon hearing his request that she be careful with his tomes and scrolls, her hand withdrew and she held it close to her chest. “Of course! I wouldn’t dream of damaging anything.” Sirena said softly, turning to continue to be enchanted by the size and grandeur of the manor she found herself in. For a moment she thought she could have sworn she heard a snapping of some kind, but that didn’t make sense. More likely it was just her shoes on the floor making a soft sound as she walked through the beautiful room, drawn to everything around her.
09:16
“Your home is so beautiful…” she began, turning back towards him with a bright warmth radiating off of her. A question played at her mind, and her curiosity got the better of her when it simply was asked with little regard as to whether it would be polite to do so or not. “Why do you need or want a roommate anyway? Just lonely?” Immediately after the words escaped her grasp, Sirena inhaled and bit her lower lip as if that would try and wrestle the words back from where they had come. “I’m.. I’m sorry, you don’t need to answer that. That was rude of me.” She said quickly that settling of unease grew steadily as she remained in the home and when she got closer to her host. He had been only gentlemanly to her, so why her insides squirmed at the idea he held some kind of danger was baffling to Sirena. Mysterious? Yes. Perhaps a little aloof? Perhaps. But a danger? Something she should be wary of? That she wasn’t convinced of even though her gut was beginning to voice its concerns to her. He didn’t seem dangerous, so why in the world did she get this sneaking suspicion to be cautious around him? “I… I’d love to continue the tour… if that’s alright.” She asked gently, hoping she hadn’t offended her host by her forthright question of him. The place intrigued her so much. Each room seemed better and more ornate than the last. Sirena surmised that she could remain here for a thousand years and never grow tired or bored of the beautiful place. @Himbo Tie

“Siri...Siri...Siri. Yes, that is quite nice.” The words came in a soft flow from Cassius’s lips as he committed her nickname to memory. He had not thought to ask what his potential roommates would want to be called on the application, as aliases were not often something he preferred to use. There was a strength in using someone’s entire name when dealing with them that showed your level of attention to detail, but he hoped that such a policy of intimidation would not need to be used in this new chapter of his life. No, the more he watched Sirena’s eyes gliding over the details of his home, Cassius was certain that this would be a new adventure that brought him different joys and pleasant memories. From the cute smile and chuckle on her lips to the bouncing, youthful steps that she took, he knew that Siri would bring a new life and excitement to the manor that he had been missing in his life over the recent past. Cassius’s gaze continued to follow Sirena’s every movement up the stairs and into the living room that he was guiding her into. The way her words cut off mid-sentence brough a broad smile to his lips, showing his pearly white teeth for a moment before his lips fell back to their normal resting state. He was truly excited to see what painting she might come up with to honor the manor, but he was enjoying seeing her reaction to it even more. The slow turn that she took to see all of the details afforded Cassius an opportunity to let his gaze wander over Sirena’s form slowly. He had known a fraction of her beauty from the application photo that had been sent so that he could recognize her face, but he was not expecting the totality of her attractiveness. She had a clear ‘cute’ quality that made one’s cheeks burn when you looked at someone and found yourself drawn to look on as if with a sweet tooth, but she also had a degree of sex appeal that he could not ignore. The way her dress held to her was an addiction of its own. .
14:53
Her hips seemed to be made for his hands to rest atop them, holding onto her and keeping her pressed against him appropriately. The gentle curve of her waist up to her breasts that he had tried to keep his eyes from lingering on drew his attention once again as her own attention was taken by the bookcases. Cassius watched Sirena’s movements as she walked towards the bookcases, and as her fingers slid over the books on the shelves, he could not stop the soft exhale of jealousy. Never before had he wanted so desperately to be an inanimate object so that he could feel her curious touches along his flesh. Her promise not to damage anything warmed his chest and cheeks with another blush as he recognized that she was not just a beautiful artist: Sirena was kind and considerate. She would not harm things that did not need to be, and she would not overstep any boundaries that he placed as her landlord. Smiling as he finished the spell, Cassius watched Siri finish her quick inspection before she turned back to face him. Smiling kindly at the compliment of his home, Cassius nodded slowly as if he knew the beauty of his manor, but he was not going to stop Sirena from complimenting anything if she wished to. He had worked hard to make sure the manor was safe and sound, while also keeping track of the beauty and aesthetics of it. Stepping forward slowly, he strode towards Siri and stopped beside her where he lifted his right hand and took hold of a purple book gently. Pulling it back from the other books, he paused when he heard her question about why he wanted a roommate. Smiling a hair as he continued to pull the book down, he flipped it open a third of the way and hummed softly when he heard Sirena’s apology. The book was filled with words in a script that had been dead for a few centuries, though as he brought his right hand up to trace his index finger under the words, they seemed to shift to English words. .
14:54
The illusion lasted only as long as his finger was under each before the words went back to their original script. Holding his breath for a moment before closing the book and returning it to its place on the bookshelf, Cassius glanced over to Sirena with a smirk before speaking, “You do not need to apologize. Any questions you feel you need to ask, please feel free to. This is my manor, but together, it is our home. I do not want you to feel you need to hold your tongue.” Stepping away with his back to Sirena, he brought his left hand up in front of his chest and tapped each of his fingers to his thumb. Casting a silent summoning spell, he felt a draw on his energy as four trained staff members appeared in the kitchen and set to the task of making a meal. Glancing over his shoulder to Sirena, Cassius shrugged before speaking softly, “I’ve been away working overseas, and I want to take the time to relax for a while before I am needed again. I had hoped to spend this time meeting someone new and spending time with them. So, yes, I guess you could say I am lonely.” Smiling as he turned to face Sirena more directly, Cassius nodded slowly before speaking again, “The staff is making a fine selection of pastas that I hope you will enjoy, so I agree that continuing the tour is best. If you will?” Holding his left hand out casually for her to take it if she’d like, Cassius waited a moment before striding towards one of the side doors that would take them through the remaining rooms of the bottom floor. A sitting room with a wall of windows, a study with three desks that each had new state-of-the-art computers, and a music room with a piano and several other instruments that all had similar aesthetics to the living room and foyer from before. Stopping beside a violin and picking it up gingerly, Cassius glanced to Siri before asking with a grin, “Do you play?” @Fiory

Sirena Sinclaire BOT 08-Feb-23 04:09 PM
It wasn’t lost on her that he repeated her little nickname, as if savoring the sound and the flavor of it on his voice. She couldn’t help the light flush that ran across her face and extenuated her freckles when he had mentioned it being a nice name for her. Sirena had at least thought so, but when he said it there was a certain amount of sensuality to it that she couldn’t quite place. I… I really don’t mind if he calls me that I think She thought, feeling a bit nervous at the idea and chastising herself for allowing such perverted thoughts to dance through her head. He was a gentleman! She didn’t need him to think she was some kind of live-in whore because she found him speaking her name sexy. Her attention was played more towards the grand bookcases and the tombs that were scattered throughout them. Siri actually enjoyed reading, it was a wonderful way to relax, though she was sure she could spend a thousand lifetimes here and not get through the books he had. Curiously, she watched as he pulled a book from the shelf, watching as he seemed to study it a moment before replacing it. It had been rude of her, asking why he had wanted a roommate to begin with, or if he was just lonely, though she smiled kindly when he did answer her. “Well, I hope that I’ll make good company for you then Cassius.” She responded, taking a step or two forward and pausing at the book that he had placed back on the shelf. Her eyes fell on the spine of it, the purple leather standing out among the dark blacks, browns and tans of the other. Her fingertips had just gotten to the edge of it, wondering what was inside this particular book that had interested him, when she halted immediately at his next words. Her face turned to him, and her hand lowered away from the book in question, her steps light as she made her way back to his side.
16:09
“Yes… Yes of course.” Siri said quickly, the little spring in her steps returning as she took his hand. His skin was cool to the touch against hers, and it made her falter slightly looking down at his hand gently holding her fingers. Why is he so cold? It’s not cold in here. Am I running a fever or something? She thought, perplexed and finding that sinking feeling nagging at her insides again. There was something off, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on what exactly was sounding the alarm bells in her head. I’m probably just nervous or something.. The thought was dismissive, and her mind instead focused on what he had said too. They were having pasta it seemed, and he was already preparing it for her, inviting her to join him in it. It was awfully kind of him to do that and she certainly hadn’t expected it. Siri had planned on running out for a pizza or something once she’d settled in her room and unpacked a little. But a homemade meal outclassed a greasy pizza any day of the week. The tour continued and in each new room Sirena took a moment to admire and take everything in. A sitting room that looked like the perfect place to sit and read with a pot of tea, a study with plenty of computers it seemed if she ever needed to get online and look for references for her paintings, and finally a room full of every instrument she could imagine and some she couldn’t. The room itself was brightly lit, with floor to ceiling windows that Siri was certain would bathe the room in romantic light if ever allowed. Thick curtains of crimson that were opened now to let in the beautiful nighttime atmosphere would likely be closed during the day.
16:09
When Cassius moved towards a violin, Sirena couldn’t help her feet from wandering closer to the grand piano. The black lacquer on it shone softly, and her fingertips gently glided over the top of it to the black and white keys that just begged to be tickled. The bench sat waiting for her to rest and Sirena held herself back from it, not wanting to appear to forward or too horribly rude for assuming she would be allowed to try it out. ”Do you play?” Her hair whipped around and floated as Sirena turned to him. It was like he could read her mind. A soft pink flush rose on her face and she nodded at his question. Her fingers quietly released the lovely grand piano and swept some of that azure colored hair behind her ear. “Y-Yes actually. I mean… Not professionally, but… I do enjoy it.” She said a little flustered, her sapphire eyes watching as he picked up a violin. Was he inviting her to play? Right now? Taking his movements as permission, Sirena gently swept her skirt under her rear, sliding onto the bench of the piano and letting her fingers acquaint themselves with the beautiful ivory keys. Her right foot went forward to gently place itself on the soft golden pedals beneath her and her attention glanced at Cassius, silently asking if he was ready. Sirena would wait, allowing the man to either tell her in some motion or word that he was ready for what she could play so he could play with her, or for him to tell her to get away from his probably very expensive piano.
16:10
If it appeared that he was game to play a duet with her, Sirena merely smiled, her fingers gently pressing on the keys to a soft rhythm to start them off. It was soft and gentle, there was a sadness in it as if it had been in the dark for far too long before the melody was able to reach out into the moonlight. Clair de Lune, a lovely romantic piece that Sirena loved to play but never got the chance to hear it as a duet. The tempo would change and quicken as if it were a bird taking flight into the cool night air. When it slowed, it was like the stars were dancing and the soft light from outside made the piano and the violin glow an eerie blue light. Sirena lost herself in the music, smiling softly and closing her eyes, allowing her body to rock with the beat of the song while her fingers continued to dance elegantly over the keys in time with the bow and strings of his violin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnevVcGiKvE @Himbo Tie

The warmth of Sirena’s hand in his was not missed by Cassius, and as he held her hand gently, he could feel his desire to feel more of her warmth growing stronger. He had drunk a fresh goblet before her arrival to quell the hunger that would come over him at her presence, but the longer he stood around her, the stronger he could feel his need growing. Her very scent carried a flavor with it that he could barely keep himself from imagining, and he was not able to keep his tongue from gently swiping over the backs of his incisors. He did not want Siri to see him licking his teeth or lips like some savage or uncontrollable monster, but he needed to feel the slick strength of his teeth that craved to be pressed against her supple flesh. As if to distract himself from the growing fantasy in his mind, Cassius walked slowly with Sirena while speaking softly, “I’m quite certain you will make the best company for me Siri. Tell me, is there a shorter version of my name that you would prefer. I know Cassius can be a bit of a...mouthful in some ways. Please, consider this as an invitation to find a shorter and easier variant.” Cassius enjoyed the way that Sirena’s eyes seemed to dance with joy and glee as she looked around the rooms that he took her to. He valued every aspect of his manor, but there were times that the grandeur was lost on him from being surrounded by similar beauties in each of his homes. The way Siri looked around and treasured every room, surface, and decoration was incredibly enlightening to the male. There was so much to treasure and be thankful for, if only he would take the time to look at it all from the gaze of a mortal that had seen only a fraction of what he had in all his years. Letting his eyes travel over the shorter woman beside him, Cassius nodded slowly and allowed himself to take in her scent once more in this closer proximity. He was subtle with it, breathing in slowly as if trying to catch a whiff of what was coming from the kitchen. .
17:05
Cassius was immediately struck with Sirena’s eagerness and youthfulness that seemed to flow through all of her actions and behaviors. Smiling as he watched her eyes light up when they entered the music room, he felt a soft moan roll through his throat as he closed his eyes for a moment. Being around her seemed to invigorate him with an energy that he had been missing out on in the recent centuries. Bogged down with corporate decision making and fighting off a group of rebels, Cassius had not been able to settle back and relax to enjoy the aspects of life that he enjoyed. Now, with his hand holding the warmth of another person, he could see the error in his ways. He had not taken a moment to himself, and now he would be fixing that. Starting with the woman beside him. Holding her hand and squeezing gently before he let go so that she could walk over to the piano, Cassius lifted the violin and the bow beside it and held it on his shoulder gingerly before settling into the comfortable stance he knew. Watching her hands glide gently over the ivory keys of the grand piano, Cassius smirked before inviting her to play it while he held the violin in a ready stance to play along with her. His smirk melted into a true smile as he saw Sirena’s reaction to his words, her hair flying to form a gentle blue halo that seemed to imprint itself on his mind. The joy in her eyes and the blush on her cheeks pulled at Cassius’s chest, and the warmth he felt spreading through his chest and stomach told him that he would have much to look forward to in the near future of his new arrangement with the beauty before him. Watching Sirena get comfortable and familiar with the piano before her, he played a few soft chords on the violin to get acquainted with it as well. He had a few instruments with him at all times and listened to various releases from composers even when he wasn’t on planet, but he needed to make sure he still had an idea of what he was doing so as to not embarrass himself. .
17:05
When it seemed that Sirena was ready to play, Cassius lifted the bow away from the violin and offered her a genuine smile before taking a deep breath and bringing the bow back to the strings. He was excited to see what selection she had in mind, so he would follow her lead to play whatever she started. Waiting patiently as she began, a small smirk played over his lips as he recognized the song and started to draw the bow across the strings to match the song that Siri played. Closing his eyes for a moment as the music poured from both instruments and the artists handling them, Cassius allowed his eyes to open and find Sirena’s in an intense gaze. Watching her features as the music swam over the room, Cassius turned to face her more directly as he continued to play through the eerie blue glow that the instruments seemed to take on. Only when the song ended did he remove his gaze from hers, and that was simply so that he could see the stand that he lowered the violin down onto. Striding forward and offering his hands to Sirena at the bench, Cassius would take hold of her hands gently before pulling her up and off of the bench. Bringing her hands together before him, he would place careful kisses to the knuckles of each before speaking with a small grin, “That was absolutely perfect Sirena. I am finding myself most thankful that I chose you to share my home with me. Please, before we are pulled into another melody, let us continue.” Stepping back and releasing one of her hands, Cassius stepped with more energy as he guided Siri through the final sitting room of the first floor until they reached the stairs in the foyer. .
17:05
Taking them slowly and offering his hand still as support for Siri, Cassius spoke in a gentle tone, “Now we come to your bedroom and the attached bath. I hope you find it to your liking. Do tell me if my staff failed to bring anything up from your car.” Pushing the ornate black door open, he stepped aside and would release Sirena’s hand so that she could be the first to enter her new room. Decorated similarly to the rest of the house, there was a massive four poster bed that would easily sleep three with curtains that were drawn back to allow Siri to see the details. Two bedside tables held a lamp on each, a duo of dressers was prepared to take her clothes that would not go in her closet, and a small sitting area surrounded a fireplace in the corner. Standing in the doorway as he looked over the room slowly, Cassius stayed on the other side of the threshold to give Sirena full access to her room without imposing on her. @Fiory

Sirena Sinclaire BOT 08-Feb-23 07:48 PM
The gentle tickling of keys and the sweet song of sorrow and longing and nighttime rendezvous that the duet seemed to inspire behind her eyelids, made Sirena smile softly. She couldn’t help it, simply because the sound was heavenly. In her mind’s eye it told the story of an elegant ballerina dancing in the pale moonlight atop a mirrored lake, gliding and dancing alone in search of the prince who was to meet her. Feelings of worry and anticipation and fear and longing crescendo into finally the prince appearing and taking his dancing vision of elegance and grace into his arms. The pair would dance and hold one another under the stars never to fade. Sirena was a hopeless romantic in that respect, always picturing love and fate and destiny. Always looking for that happily ever after on the other side of the moonlight’s glow. So allowing the song to play out and have such a wonderful violinist to play with her, made Siri’s heart soar. “It’s… It’s been a long time since I got to play… Thank you for allowing me to.. And for playing with me Cass.” Sirena said sweetly, having let the shortened version of Cassius’s name slip from her lips. She had thought about it a little when she was playing and while the melody had slowed and stopped the little nickname just made itself known. Immediately, she smiled sheepishly up at him, her lower lip gently tugging between her teeth at his compliment and the gentlemanly gesture he gave to her hands. It sent goosebumps up her spine and flooded her shoulders. He was so sweet to her, such the gentleman in every movement he made. It wasn’t easy for her not to be a little taken with him. This was her new roommate? Yeah, I think I can handle that. Quietly she slipped out from the bench and allowed him to continue the tour out of the music room. Sirena inwardly planned to return, if only to continue to play the beautiful piano and hear it sing again. She was giving him every drop of attention she possibly could, listening intently while

still marveling at his home and climbed the stairs. The second sitting room was very much like the first, and she relished in the manor luxuries. Like the ballerina in her mind, she felt like a princess dancing in a palace of wonder and awe. This was completely unlike her previous studio apartment that barely had room for her bed let alone anything as grand like this.
19:49
“Oh, I’m sure if there’s something left, I can get it… I don’t want to be any trouble.” She said softly as they approached a large ornate black door. There was a small sense of foreboding with that door, as if it knew things that it dare not speak. However, Cassius merely opened it up to her and invited her inside. Her insides were screaming to run, to leave, something was amiss here, he was too nice, too courteous. There had to be a catch to all of this. But those thoughts were quickly whisked away. The room was huge, her apartment could have fit neatly and comfortably inside of it. The bed itself was much larger than she ever would need, and this was just the bedroom! She still and an en suite bath as well. “Oh my…” Were the only coherent thoughts that became words, her voice a gentle whisper as if she were afraid to speak any louder. The decor in the room was similar in style to the rest of the manor, with beautifully laid curtains in crimson along the four poster bed. The bed was made it looked like of a dark oak, carved with intricate floral patterns on the head and footboards. On closer inspection, there were roses that lined the four posters, traveling up to the canopy above and dazzling their buds and blooms above the bed in dark wooden splendor. A thick rug of ebony black lay under the bead and spread out in all directions to frame it. The sheets, funny enough were white; pure like freshly fallen snow, laundered and smelling of lavender and chamomile. Sirena looked around, walking in awe at the entire room and it’s beautiful set up. This was her room? Was he sure?
19:49
“This… this is so much…” She stammered, her eyes falling on the neat pile of her things that had been brought up. Sirena didn’t have much, just a couple suitcases of clothes, shoes and various jewelry. Her larger items were the canvases that she kept, and her crates of art supplies and paints. All neatly resting against the wall on one side of the room, waiting for their owner to pick them up and begin painting away. In disbelief, as surely she was dreaming, Sirena dashed to the bathroom and audibly gasped at the inside, her voice echoing out into the bedroom. The bathroom was laid with black and white marble, with a separate tub for soaking and a tile step to walk up into it, or if soaking was not on the docket, she had the choice of the equally large shower, laden with black and gray tiles of marble. The shower heads, yes plural, looked like they would feel like a fresh summer rain when turned on. There was even a hose attachment to clean the crystal glass of the enclosed shower area. The towels that hung in here were that same beautifully clean white color, and accented in the bathroom were gold handles or bars, and a ruby red bath rug between the tub and the shower area. “Cass, your home is incredible!” Siri couldn’t help herself, surely she was in a dream and she swore if anything woke her she would personally shout at them. Her footsteps echoed out of the bathroom and back into the main bedroom, her sapphire eyes spying the curtains to one side where she thought a window might be. No, instead it was a full balcony with black french doors that she pulled open to investigate the terrace. The view took her breath away, the light breeze from outside playing with her blue hair and curls causing them to dance in the pale moonlight. Sirena stood there, admiring the vast trees and fields that seemed to stretch forever into the distance, the moon bathing the world in a gentle blue glow. The deep red curtains billowed softly around her frame, caressing her sides as
19:49
she stood in awe of the place she was to call home.
19:49
“I… I’m so honored that you picked me to live here with you… This place is… it’s unbelievable..” she said softly, quiet like the whisper of a dove. But… what’s the catch? There’s always a catch? This time, her gut feeling that had told her she was in danger, that she should run, that there was something amiss here was finally getting through to her. It did seem like all of this was too good to be true… what would be the catch? She had no rent or utilities to worry about, and she got a luxurious manor to live in with an equally exquisite gentleman as her landlord. Something was off, and it was dawning on her finally as she turned to look over at him. The last thing she wanted, was to seem ungrateful for his hospitality and for the amazing accommodations but… this was beginning to eat away at her. “I have to know… for curiosity’s sake…” Sirena began slowly, a breeze playing with her hair and lifting her soft skirt in play. Not enough to show anything, but enough to let it wave gently around her thighs like a powder blue flag. “I feel like… there has to be a catch to all this… Other than company… that’s.. That’s all you’re getting out of this arrangement?” @Himbo Tie

Cassius Corvinus BOT 10-Feb-23 07:18 AM
Hearing the shortened version of his name that Sirena had come up with, Cassius smiled and nodded slowly as he strode closer to his new roommate. The gesture to help her up from the bench might have been a little over the top, but he allowed his lips to linger over each of Siri’s knuckles. The faintest taste of her flesh that he was able to get through the minimal contact was exciting to the man, and the scent he drew from her seemed to bring his hunger to the forefront. Even as he had eaten earlier in the day multiple times, he found himself hungry to experience what her young body had to offer. He could feel his canines threatening to extend beneath his lips in anticipation of tasting her, but Cassius kept them under control as he knew the main tasting that he wanted to experience with Sirena did not come from her blood or his fangs. No, he desired to taste her with his lips and his tongue. Cassius was thankful for how attentive Sirena seemed to be as he guided her through her new home, knowing that it would make his life easier if he didn’t have to continuously direct her through the halls to her destination. However, with a smirk playing at his lips, he could not deny the intrigue of developing a sort of punishment that he could exact from her for every time she got lost or needed direction. Imagining bending her over a coffee table in the den if she had failed to get there on her own, Cassius closed his eyes for a moment when he allowed his mind to wander to how he assumed her body would feel when he was pressed against it. From what he had seen, and from what her dress made available to be seen, Sirena held curves in all of the places that he preferred on a woman. Glancing down to where he could imagine her plump rear pressing back against his pelvis with every thrust forward into her, Cass nodded slowly before bringing his attention back to his tour that he was leading her on. It would not do well to get lost in his own home due to daydreaming. .
07:18
Cassius tutted softly in disapproval, shaking his head when he heard Sirena mentioning how she could go out and get anything that was left in her car after the tour was complete. Glancing over his shoulder with a smirk, he narrowed his eyes playfully with a raised eyebrow before speaking, “That’s not acceptable, Siri. As my roommate, the staff is responsible for seeing to your needs as they would mine. I would not see you bringing anything in yourself when they are here for that very purpose.” Nodding quickly as if that closed the topic for any future discussion, Cassius turned his attention back to the door that he had brought them to. He stood for only a moment in front of it, but in that moment, he looked over the details of the ornate woodworking. He could remember the tools he used to create it, and the years he had spent on the other side of it, calling it his own home. Breathing in quickly to prepare himself, he pushed open the door to the master suite and stepped aside for Sirena to enter and so that he could see her reactions. Cassius had not expected much in the way of words due to the surprising size of the bedroom, but he could not stop the grin that fell over his lips when he saw how awestruck Sirena was. Leaning against the doorframe and crossing his arms over his chest, he watched silently as she moved deeper into the room and focused her attention on the bed. He was proud of it, having commissioned it many years ago from an artistic genius of the region, and he had managed to keep it in pristine condition all these years. Besides the fact of the useful spell that he had cast over the manor, this room was one that he had paid special attention to in order to preserve its longevity and its overall condition. Grinning as he looked at the linens that adorned the bed, Cassius could not help the soft chuckle that played through his throat when he saw the stark white of the sheets. Purity, it would seem, but surrounded by the darkness of the home. .
07:19
When Sirena darted into the bathroom to view the amenities within, Cassius pushed off the doorframe with a slow shake of his head and a grin spreading over his lips. He knew the magnificence of his home and the splendor of his lifestyle, but it was always refreshing to hear it appreciated by someone else. Especially if that person was a mortal with a distinct understanding of not only time and viewing as much as they could in their short life but also if they were in possession of artistic skills and an appreciation for the finer details in life. Cassius’s feet carried him into the room, his eyes dancing slowly over the ornate woodwork and the golden light fixtures before he stopped at the end of the bed. Leaning casually against one of the main supports, he drew his right hand forward and looked down at it, inspecting his fingers and their nails as if making sure that he matched the perfection he expected from his manor and the accompanying grounds. He had been in the bathroom before and knew what Sirena was seeing in this moment, but Cassius knew it would be better for him to stay out of the room. Not only would it look as though he was trying to corral and trap Siri, but it would also be putting him in a particularly dangerous situation if the pipes decided to fail him. Running water was a comical weakness and would not kill him outright, but Cass had no intentions of suffering any unneeded pain or discomfort, not within his own home. He was pulled from his momentary doom filled thoughts at the sound of Sirena’s voice as she left the bathroom, his gaze following her as he chuckled softly and spoke and a soft reply, “While I appreciate the compliments, I hope you will soon find that you see this manor as your home as well. You are a welcome guest, Sirena, but I hope you become so much more than that. I hope you become a true roommate and housemate.” .
07:19
The way the curtains to the balcony opened framed Sirena perfectly, accenting her frame and draping around her with the gentle breeze that came in through the opened French doors. The moonlight played perfectly with the outer edges of her dress and hair, letting Sirena glow lightly as if she were an ethereal presence that had stepped from beyond this realm to greet him. Cassius’s eyes trailed over her slowly, and he made no attempt to hide how plainly he was looking at her. Absolutely beautiful, tremendously stunning, breathtaking, capturing. These were all words that he found swimming through his mind to describe the woman that stood on his balcony and overlooked the grounds beneath her. Pushing off of the bed’s post slowly and licking his lips to wet them from where his rush of arousal had left them momentarily feeling dry, Cassius strode forward slowly with his gray eyes moving to capture every detail of the beauty before him for his memory. Chuckling softly as he moved closer to Sirena, Cassius looked past her to the ground of the manor that were bathed in the eerie blue light of the moon. Stopping beside her on her left side and letting her questions wash over him for a moment as he enjoyed the slight breeze that ruffle his hair slightly, Cassius closed his eyes and sighed softly. His eyes opened and turned towards Sirena before his head followed, his piercing gray gaze meeting her own stunning sapphires. Looking from her eyes down to her lips, Cassius felt the corners of his lips raising in a playful smirk as he spoke, “No catch Siri, not that I can think of at least. I detailed everything quite plainly in the roommate agreement that you signed. I want your company, and all that comes with it. Your signature proves that you are willing to give me such freedoms in exchange for room and board within my manor.” .
07:19
Raising his eyebrows as if challenging her to deny the fact that she had signed the contract, Cassius let his gaze flick up from her lips to meet her eyes again. Waiting only a moment for the reality of his words and their agreement to sink in, he leaned down and pressed his lips to Sirena’s in a smooth embrace. There was some awkwardness at first due to a lack of familiarity, but Cassius quickly overcame that as his head tilted to make the contact easier. His right hand came forward and drifted under the flowing fabric of her dress to end its travel pressed up firmly against her rear. Pushing forward so that his fingers could press through the fabric of Sirena’s panties to directly apply pressure to her most private region, Cassius let his lips fall away for only a moment to whisper against her lips, “I have free use of you and your body whenever I wish, and you are expected to obey any command you receive. Lean forward and brace yourself against the railing of the balcony.” While his right hand continued to press its fingers against the flower between Sirena’s legs, Cassius brought his left hand up to take a gentle hold over her throat. Letting his thumb and index finger trail up both of her arteries slowly, Cass looked down to Siri’s lips before pressing his own against hers again for another quick kiss. Whether it was a result of her make-up or just how he imagined her with the color palate he had seen so far, Cassius detected a distinct sweet, blue flavor from the lips of the woman beside him. Moaning gently before pulling back and shifting his lips to the patch of soft skin under her left ear, he breathed in the scent of her hair slowly before whispering, “I trust you read the fine print of your roommate agreement.” @Fiory

Sirena Sinclaire BOT 10-Feb-23 10:44 AM
There was a sense of unease, but also a sense of peace in the room. It was such a lovely space, so vibrant and dark at the same time. Elegance personified, and it was complimentary to the host who owned the home. Sirena couldn’t have dreamed of a more lovely place to rest her head at night, nor could she imagine such an inspirational home to take in. After asking her curious question, thinking nothing truly of it, her steps brought her out onto the balcony proper to take in the view and allow it to steal the breath from her lungs. It was magnificent here, the grounds stretched like a sea of dark shadows and greens, and Sirena could see the gardens that lined the back portion of the manor. Beautifully manicured and sleeping soundly in the cool evening light. The sky was clear tonight, the stars beginning to dapple the navy blanket above and the moon glowing with a haloed purpose to bring its cool light to the world below. Truly awe-inspiring. Siri could feel the inspiration in her fingertips just begging to erupt onto a waiting canvas. This place, and the owner of it gave her a thrill she couldn’t explain, her heart pounding in excitement on this new journey and adventure she had found herself on. The gentle chuckle she heard from behind her gave her no cause for alarm. He had been nothing but a gentleman this whole time, what reason would she have to doubt he would continue to be? A bright smile played on her sweet face, her lips pulled to show the gentle whites of her teeth and her lower lip held in appreciation of the view. Sirena was about to compliment it again, as she could not get enough of the exquisite estate she found herself in, when she realized Cassius was much closer than she had initially thought. His gray eyes were piercing and caused Sirena to blink up at him in alarm. Had she said something wrong? Had she offended her host? *”No catch Siri, not that I can think of at least. I detailed everything quite plainly in the roommate agreement that yo

u signed.”*

The roommate agreement? Oh yes, she remembered that. It had been a stack of papers, long and detailed regarding the manor, how to get there, what was available in the vicinity, the expectations of the home and any rules that would be imposed. Siri searched her memory quickly, trying to think of what he could possibly mean, a slight twinkle of confusion glistening back up at him from those lovely blue eyes of hers. ”I want your company, and all that comes with it. Your signature proves that you are willing to give such freedoms in exchange for room and board within my manor.” F-Freedoms? What Freedoms am I giving up exactly? Sirena wondered, perplexed at the sentence. She didn’t recall signing a contract where she’d give up her freedom. Nothing that she could remember came to mind. Her mind raced, trying to recall every detail about the contract she’d signed when she came upon the only thing she remembered that made sense. It had said ‘free use’ there, but Sirena had assumed that that meant of the facilities. The bathrooms and rooms, and looking at the different sitting rooms, library and music room here, she believed that had been what the contract had meant. What else could it have meant exactly? “I…I’m sor-sorry what?” Siri almost squeaked, having no time to voice anything else in her confusion of the situation she had found herself in. It was only made abundantly clear when he pressed against her, his lips ensnaring hers. On any other evening, this might have seemed romantic; a handsome man and a lovely woman, out on the balcony of a gorgeous manor in the pale moonlight enjoying a sensual kiss under the stars. For Siri, it was straight out of one of her romance novels that she would read at times when she was feeling alone. The gentle muffled sound she made was both inviting as well as stunned at the actions he took. All at once she felt her body shiver and jump in his grasp, feeling his hand press and invade beneath her dress. If the alarm bells wer

en’t going off before they certainly were now. What Did I Agree To!?
10:44
“I.. I don’t..um..” Sirena’s words faltered at the command he gave to her. He had free use of her? Or her body whenever he wanted? That Had been in the agreement?? She thought quickly back to the stack of paperwork she had signed, and she recalled the terms that had been identified in the fine print of it but nothing about it had seemed out of line or odd to her. It was perhaps her inexperience for knowing the terms and what they meant, or misunderstanding the terms and conditions as they were intended. Unable to help it, Sirena let out a shaky sound, part way a moan and part way a gasp at his actions. She was well and truly stuck, especially as his hand snaked its way around her throat. Her legs squirmed, desperate to close and pull away from the imposing figure before her. Sirena’s eyes grew large looking up at him with a sweetness and innocence of a doe caught in the snare of the wolf itself. A passage of the contract came to mind as he mentioned the fine print, and she recalled reading that she would be expected to follow and obey the commands received while she resided in the manor. She had thought it an older way of saying ‘clean up after yourself when told’ “I. I d-did.. B-b-but… “ she stammered against his lips, unsure what to do. She had signed it, even though she didn’t know half the terms that had been listed out. It was like a new phone, no one ever reads the fine print of those agreements, so for this Sirena had just skimmed her contract and had assumed the meaning of things she didn’t know the exact definitions of. Part of her was chastising herself for having not paid attention, but another smaller part was enjoying the attention he gave. Sirena hadn’t been in a relationship with anyone in well over a year, after finally dumping her last boyfriend of three years when she caught him cheating on her. In the time since, she hadn’t been with anyone or had the drive to try, so suddenly being toyed with and touched in such an intimate way sent chills

through her. Feeling the betrayal between her legs and the rapidly increasing rate of her heart, Sirena attempted to take back control of the situation she found herself in. “C-Cassius.. I.. uh..” Her words came out in a breathier tone, unsure and timid, while her hands fell against his chest giving slight resistance to the advances he made, even if her body was inviting him further and begging for more. There was only so much you could do with oneself before it became too repetitive to continue and boredom of it set in. Having someone want her, desire her in such a dominating way was thrilling in the danger of it. Siri couldn’t deny that it felt good but she also had only just met this man, only just got acquainted with his house, and while not a virgin she wasn’t experienced enough to understand the intricacies of what he wanted from her. He literally held her by the throat, her pulse rapid against his fingertips, unsure of what to do. What a predicament she found herself in. @Himbo Tie

Cassius Corvinus BOT 13-Feb-23 02:49 PM
The dampness against his fingertips made it clear and apparent to Cassius that his advances on Sirena were not unwanted, yet her words were speaking in the contrary. Or at least the closest that she could get to a refusal with the way her breathing was becoming more needy and betraying her voice. Grinning as he kept his hand beneath her dress, Cass stilled the touches on Siri’s covered flower and simply left the underside his fingers pressed gently upwards for a constant, begging contact. He would make her admit how much she wanted him by the end of this, for he was not one to look at a challenge and back down from it. Cassius bit his lower lip gently as he looked over her features to see the hidden want in her eyes behind the confusion of what was happening. He raised an eyebrow when she admitted to reading the fine print, and his lips curled at the corners into a sly grin as he spoke, “You say that read it, yet now you act in a way that is in direct defiance of the very agreement in question. You’ll have to do better than that, Siri.” A mischievous light glinted in Cassius’s gray eyes, almost as if the bluish light of the moon shone directly over the surface of them. He was leaning forward when he felt Sirena’s hands on his chest, and his eyes simply flicked down to them before returning to her gaze. Smirking as he pressed gently against her hands, he drew his right hand tighter against her covered core before letting his fingers trace slowly up the curve of her rear. Keeping her from being able to back away from him with the strength of his hold on her rear and the unmoving nature of his fingers on her throat, Cassius continue forward and pressed his lips to Sirena’s again. Licking across her lower lip slowly before pushing his tongue through her lips to enter her mouth, he traced the tip of his tongue gently along Siri’s. Feeling the slick surface under his own and offering a deep moan, Cass pulled his tongue back slowly into his mouth. .
14:49
Pushing his tongue back in quickly and trailing his under hers, Cassius shifted the placement of his right hand. Dragging it up the curve of her rear to the waistband of her panties, he brought his hand quickly to Sirena’s hip and turned her so that her back was to the grounds and the balcony railing. Cassius moved forward and forced her against the wrought iron railing surrounding the balcony. Holding her with her rear pressed against it, he pulled back and looked down at Sirena’s lips for a moment before shaking his head slowly and looking up to meet her gaze. His pupils had dilated slightly from the darkness of the outside world, but they had grown slightly larger from the arousal that began to make itself known throughout his body. Stepping forward and pressing against her, Cass knew that Siri would be able to feel the significant proof of his arousal as his manhood pressed against his pants and her thigh alike. “You signed the contract, so I expect you to do as you agreed you would. The contract had a safe word in it as well if you truly need it, but...” Cassius leaned forward and trailed kisses slowly up Sirena’s jaw, using his grip on her neck to gently turn her head to the right so that he could whisper into her ear softly, “I really hope you won’t need it.” Pulling back slowly and looking into Siri’s eyes, he allowed his arousal and the deep thrumming of his heartrate to slow down for a moment so that she could see the seriousness in his eyes. He hoped she would not use it, but there was a reason he had detailed the word in the agreement. If Sirena ever felt she needed to use it, she could simply utter the word ‘Umbrella,’ and he would stop. He waited a moment as if daring her to say the word before pressing on with his display of attraction and arousal. Cassius leaned forward again and pressed his lips to hers, molding to her soft, pillowy lips as if they were designed for kissing. .
14:50
Moaning softly as he enjoyed the heavy pulse beneath his fingers, he slid his thumb gently up and down along her artery. Cassius would often use the heartrate of his partners to act as a signal to him for when he could speed up or if he needed to slow down. It was most useful when his partner was on their back with his cock down their throat, but he had not yet gotten a good clue of Sirena’s base heartrate to use it without some inaccuracies. As soon as she entered the manor, he had heard her heart beating in her chest in an excited manner while she took in the beauty and grandeur of the home. Now would not serve as a suitable time either so Cass simply slid his hand lower down Sirena’s neck until the heel of his palm pressed against her collarbones. Separating their lips for a mere moment as he slid his hand around the back of her neck, he threaded his fingers slowly into Siri’s hair before his lips found hers again. The warmth of her lips was delicious against his cooler lips, and he could not stop himself from deepening it once more. Pulling back with a soft gasp as he fought his urges, Cassius lowered his right hand from her hip to drag over the side of her thigh. Squeezing the supple flesh there as he crept his hand around to the back, Cass drew his hand up along Siri’s thigh gently before speaking in a quiet voice, “I do not want to force this on you, but it is my understanding that you were prepared and willing to fulfill your agreed upon obligations as soon as you returned your signed application and the agreement that came after it. Now, do as I say and turn around; lean against the balcony railing and let me please both of us. This is not one-sided, Sirena. The agreement, and the elements outlined within, go both ways. Allow me the joy of pleasuring both of us.” .
14:50
Pressing his lips to the corner of her lips, Cassius kissed down to her jawline and then slowly down her throat. Finding the small dip between her throat and her collarbones at the center, Cass licked slowly up the ridge of Sirena’s throat before stopping at the tip of her chin. Raising an eyebrow for a moment to see if she would obey him, Cassius smirked before using his new grip on her hair to pull her forward away from the railing and then move to turn her around with his right hand moving to her other hip to gain purchase and move her. @Fiory

Sirena Sinclaire BOT 13-Feb-23 05:58 PM
“I…well when I said I read it…” Sirena stammered, finding her voice momentarily and the agency to spit something out, anything at this point. “I mean.. I s-skimmed it…” A sheepish smile rose on her face. She had read most of it, at least enough that she understood what she could from it. Some of the terms hadn’t made sense, but she thought perhaps she’d be able to ask about them at a later date. Inquire further on what the terms meant so she knew exactly what she had signed. Surely it couldn’t be all bad. This didn’t feel bad at all.. Her head was fighting her, arguing with her body as it clearly wanted what Cass was offering. Even she could tell that his advances while surprising were not completely unwanted. That little voice in her head that actually enjoyed what he was doing, kept bringing up logically sound little arguments to counteract her walls and her defenses against it. ”It’s not like you have a boyfriend anymore…. When’s the last time someone actually wanted you anyway? Especially like this? And… he said that it’d be good for both of you right? That’s not a bad catch to live like a duchess you know…” It was alarming, just how easily swayed she was just because she hadn’t gotten any in so long and this handsome stranger took a liking to her.
17:58
Each kiss and advance he made stole her breath and brought her closer and closer to just giving in. The embrace of his lips against hers was enchanting and drew her in like a moth to an unyielding flame. To just let him do with her what he wanted. What could it hurt right? This was supposed to be a new adventure for her, wasn’t it? A new home in a new place outside the city and its pollution and away from everything that had just caused her misery for years. At the latest pull from his lips, Sirena found a gentle whine pulled from her throat, her lips chasing his for just a moment before she pulled away immediately. A brilliant flush ran across her cheeks at the sound he had pulled from her, while her breath came a bit heavier in response to him. Her eyes searched his, feeling the seriousness in his gaze. He wasn’t just messing with her, he wasn’t just going to let her go either. Like a rabbit caught in a snare, Siri was well and truly at the mercy of this big bad wolf that had her by the literal throat. What… What was the word? She thought frantically, her mind drawing an absolute blank. It was a password of some kind, a safe word like he had said, and she recalled reading it but saying the word aloud eluded her. It was like her tongue was too intent on finding his again to allow it to be used to betray that need. He almost seemed to be waiting for it to come to her, waiting for her to say it, to utter it quietly or scream it from the balcony sides. But while she could see it in her mind, her mouth wouldn’t cooperate. Instead her lips embraced his once more and a delicate moan shuddered from her.
17:59
Sirena had never been handled like this before. It was both frightening and invigorating at the same time. To be wanted so truly, so desperately, dare even say so violently, was a marvelous feeling for her. Not even her old boyfriend had cared that much to demand her attention like this or any other way. Siri had always been the one to instigate it, always the one to ask and sometimes even beg. The thought of it made her sapphire eyes glitter in the pale moonlight, recognizing that this was not love but a lustful desire, but even that was better than what she had had before. Than anything she had had before. Why not give it a try? He said he’d stop if you told him to… do you Really want him to? Damn her head and it’s logical nonsense. She knew part of that was right, even if she felt a little manipulated into believing it. ”I do not want to force this on you, but it is my understanding that you were prepared and willing to fulfill your agreed upon obligations as soon as you returned your signed application and agreement that came after it. Now, do as I say and turn around; lean against the balcony railing…” His words were commanding, and while she tried to fight it, tried desperately to think of some kind of way to dispute the facts that he said. Sirena couldn’t. She had signed the agreement. It was her fault and hers alone that she hadn’t thought or considered reading the fine print more carefully, look up the terms and conditions that had been mentioned to really understand what they meant. It was no wonder that some of her friends questioned why she would want to move into a place like this, with an agreement like that. At the time Sirena hadn’t thought anything of it, thought perhaps the distance was the problem with their assessment or that it just seemed too good to be true. A feeling of dread left her and Sirena looked up at Cassius with pleading eyes, the acceptance of her own doing finally dawning on her. This was her own doing, and Siri wasn’t on

e to back down from it.

It goes both ways he said… so maybe… you’ll like it… Now she was just reassuring herself, though she wasn’t too far off from how she felt. She hesitated, just for a moment and that moment was enough for him to take her by the hair and pull her in closer. Sirena inhaled sharply through gritted teeth, her hands never moving from his chest as she was frightened to try. Instead when he shifted her and moved her himself, Siri found herself spun around facing the edge of the balcony. Her hands came forward immediately and grasped the iron bars that made her reflexively bend slightly at her waist. The view was beautiful, vast and mysterious as the night sky that littered it. The only other word to describe such beauty was empty. There wasn’t a soul within a thousand kilometers from where they were, no one to hear her, no one to see. Not even wild game traversed the open fields beyond the property line.
17:59
Slowly, Sirena’s gaze lowered and she gasped aloud upon spying the distance between the balcony edge and the hard cobblestone path in the garden below. Without thinking about it, Siri pressed herself back directly into him, her arms pushing her away from the edge of the balcony in kind. While he held her hair and it gathered softly along her shoulders, she closed her eyes tightly at the sight. Sirena was scared of heights, and while she was perfectly alright being on a balcony and looking out at the beyond, leaning over the rail of one wasn’t exactly something she wanted to do as it made her immediately dizzy. However she had something else to occupy her other than the idea of falling to the ground over the balcony. In her rush to move away from the edge, she’d pressed her backside firmly up against his him and a warmth grew within her feeling the arousal that waited for her there. Unable to help it or perhaps it was done on pure instinct, her hips shifted from side to side as if trying to determine exactly what the thing that was pressed against her rear was exactly. Not that she needed twenty questions to figure that out. He’s even bigger than your old boyfriend…
17:59
Why her head kept having to remind her of the good this could be, Sirena would never know. Couldn’t that little horny voice shut the hell up already? Attempting to clear her head and think, Sirena decided she had started this mess in a way, and she had wanted an adventure of sorts. This was just the hand that she was dealt with, and perhaps he would even be good at making her feel cherished the way no other had ever even tried. However, she had to at least let her concerns be known. She wouldn’t say no, as her body was all too eager to let him have her, but slowly her chin lifting to look at him over her shoulder, Siri bit her lower lip in apprehension, giving the blushing woman a sweet and near innocent appearance. “I..um.. C-Cass… J-Just don’t let me fall…I don’t want to fall…” It was the best she could do to try and relay that she didn’t want to suddenly fall over the railing, that she was frightened at the idea of it, and if he wanted her to say that safe word, that was the fastest way to go about it. For now, with her arms extended and holding the rail she felt safer than leaning against it with her body. @Himbo Tie
