Little golden jewelry pieces jingled from her chest and her wings, which made it nearly impossible to fly, but that was okay! She didn't need to fly! "In you go, little one." The man said, setting Mimi back into her cage. He locked it behind her. Mimi turned back to the man and raised her arms. "Up! Up!" She bounced in her cage, her little talons clicking on the metal. The man's smile turned to a glare as he whacked the top of the cage. "Be silent! You are not a needy pest!" He snapped. Mimi ducked down, whimpering softly. The man scoffed and turned, leaving Mimi alone once more. Mimi sat on the floor of the cage and curled her legs to her chest, frowning sadly. She looked up at the moon as it shone brightly into her room. "U....Up....Up!" She called, wanting to get out of the cage! "Up! Up! UP!" She called louder, standing and jumping up and down.
